Chapter 20:The Best Day Of My Life
Today is a special day for the lovebirds Holly and Garth, it is their wedding day. All the Spix macaws, Scarlet macaws, and the different kind of macaws are at the ceremony. Blu, Jewel, Bia, Carla, Tiago, Banjo, Grace, Belle, Crystal, Junior, and Max is at the wedding ceremony too. Katie, Winston, Mary, and Nina is there. Alex the Scarlet macaw is the priest and announce the vows. Lily, Cadence, and Eddie are there as well to watch Alex announce the vows.
"We are gathered here to today to witness this scarlet macaw and blue macaw on this special day. They enjoy their many years to come living together. Those two have feelings for each other. If there is any bird who has a good reason as to why these two should not be married, speak now." Alex paused for another minute and no bird said anything, he continued and turn to Garth. "Now to do your own vows. "Garth will you do the honors of saying your vows?" Garth looks at Holly and starts his speech.
"Holly a long time ago we were enemies because of the Brazil nut incident but I found my dream girl which is you. After the defeat of the loggers, we confess our feelings for each other and become a couple. My heart always belong to you and I would never betray you. I promise to love you everyday. I would always love you and you are the sweetest, kindness, and beautiful bird I ever fall in love with." Garth said.
"Awwwwww." The birds cooed.
Alex the snowy owl cried in tears.
"That was lovely." Alex said. "Now it's Holly turn to do her vows." Holly looks at her beloved Garth.
"Garth when I first met you. You are the handsome bird that I love. Even though we were enemies, I did have feelings for you as well. My heart told me to be with you and I hug you after the loggers was defeated. Love is for everyone. I promise not to betray you either and you are the only bird for me. I glad you choose me as your girlfriend." Holly said.
"Awwwwww." The birds cooed.
"Lovely speech Holly." Alex said to his cousin.
"Do you Garth take Holly to be your mate to love her until death?" Alex asked Garth.
"I do." Garth answered.
"Do you Holly take Garth to be your mate to love him until death?" Alex asked his cousin.
"I do." Holly answered.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Alex said.
Garth came forward and gave a loving kiss to Holly while all the witnesses cheered, clapping their wings loudly. The two waved to the witnesses. Everyone went to enjoy a little party they set up, when everyone had a good time, and congratulate the couple. The two even had their own dance together as the witnesses looked at them dancing. The two talking to each other.
"Oh Holly, we are finally married." Garth said.
"Yes we are Garth and I am ready to spend the rest of my life with you." Holly said.
"The day you hugged me after we defeated the loggers. I blushed." Garth said.
"Oh." Holly smiled and Garth returned it. "I love you."
"I love you too." Garth replied and give another kiss to Holly's beak.
"Congratulations Holly and Garth, I am so happy for you both." Felipe said.
"Thanks Felipe, happy you came to the wedding." Holly said.
"Yeah buddy thanks for coming." Garth said.
"Anytime, I have to support my friends and family." Felipe said.
The party continued on into the night, everyone is having a good time dancing their tail feathers off. Garth and Holly having the most of the fun. When the party was over, everyone was tired, and they flew back to their hollows. Garth and Holly are looking at the night sky.
The two being alone, the pair of lovebirds snuggled up and hug each other as husband and wife. Garth is finally happy that he got Holly as his wife and they will be together forever.
