On a slightly overcast day, Mikey stood with his nunchucks out. The scene in front of him, Raph was being held by some giant, purple snake like alien creature and Leo was trying to get him down while avoiding being bit by it.
MIKEY: Who would've guessed that getting back to nature with bros, would turn into a sci-fi marathon?
Donnie was running beside this alien girl with dark blue hair, until he was picked up by a flying alien creature by his shoulders.
Danny was dodging the oncoming attacks of some kind of ice alien monster. Leo kept avoiding the attacks of the snake alien, Raph was suddenly caught by the alien monster made of blue goo and Mikey was facing off against an alien monster made of rocks.
All the while, the alien girl was fighting off against another alien girl, but this one had red hair.
There's nothing cooler than slimy, slithery space creatures, giant alien blobs, cosmic rock and ice monsters with bad attitudes or an intergalactic catfight. And here I thought our camping trip was going to be boring? SILLY ME!
Mikey screamed as the rock alien monster came over and raised its giant foot to crush the orange mask wearing ninja turtle.
THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE
It was a dark and clear night. The stars were shining and the full moon lit the night sky. Right near and abandoned saw mill was Danny and the Turtles, sitting around a campfire and setting up their sleeping bags.
After so much time resting from their serious injuries, they were finally able to move about. They still had some bandages here and there, but they were mostly and almost completely healed from their final battle with the Shredder and Plasmius.
Donnie stretched his arms and sighed with content, "Just look at this place. They don't build turn of the century sawmills like this anymore."
Mikey stood up from laying out his sleeping bag and said, "Probably because it's not the turn of the century anymore."
"Point made bro, however there is nothing like camping out and finally getting out of the farm house." Danny said, also feeling content.
"Let's stow our stuff and go exploring." Raph suggested.
They were about to leave, when Mikey noticed Leo wasn't following. He was just sitting on the log with his back turned.
"You coming Leo?" Mikey asked.
Leo didn't answer and just continued to sit there. Danny then tried, "Leo?"
He still didn't respond. Raph shrugged and said, "Ah leave him. He doesn't wanna play, then he doesn't wanna play."
They all then made their way towards the sawmill. They went inside and saw that even though the building was falling apart, the machinery was mostly still intact.
"Cool!" Donnie commented with awe.
"Race ya to the top." Mikey challenged.
"I'll give ya a heads start, since you just got your legs busted." Raph offered.
"Thanks, but I don't need it." Mikey declined and the four of them began to race up the railings.
Meanwhile back at the farm house, Splinter, April, Maddie, Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Casey were all sitting on the front porch, looking out at the night sky.
"It's a beautiful night guys." April commented.
"It sure is April." Casey agreed.
"I wish we could've joined the guys on their camping trip." Sam said. "There's nothing like it and nature is full of nice surprises."
"Cheer up Sam. They said they needed a trip as brothers and besides, we're going on a camping trip with them all in a few days." Tucker said.
There was some silence for a few moments and then Casey said to Splinter, "Say Master Splinter, isn't it time for your bedtime meditation or something?"
"No I….." Splinter began to say, but then stopped when he saw the look Casey was giving him, now knowing it meant he wanted some alone time with April.
"Actually yes. I didn't realise how late it was. Past my bedtime." Splinter agreed.
Maddie smiled and laughed quietly and then said, "I'm feeling tired myself. I think I'll go to bed as well."
Tucker then offered, "Jazz, Sam, you two up for watching a movie in the attic? I bought the new Dead Teacher 5."
Jazz and Sam nodded and followed Tucker inside. As soon as they were along, Casey faked a yawn and placed his arm across behind April. April smiled and then the couple shared a deep kiss with each other as a shooting star raced across the night sky.
Back at the sawmill, Mikey thought he was the first one to reach the roof of the building, but it turns out he wasn't, for Leo was standing before him.
The others finally joined them as Raph teased, "Looks like our silent partner decided to join us."
Donnie then noticed something flying across the sky and pointed it out, "Look! A shooting star."
They all looked in awe at the ball of energy flying across the night sky…..but suddenly, it turned around and began heading in a different direction.
"It turned? That would indicate it's not a shooting star, but some kind of piloted mechanism." Donnie guessed.
The object gained speed and was now hurtling right towards them! They all screamed as they ran, but the object crashed right into the building. The force of the crash sent Danny and the Turtles right into the lake along with whatever crashed landed.
Danny and the Turtles emerged from the water and headed back to the shore. Danny then asked, "What the shell was that?"
Bubbled floated above the water and whatever crashed landed began making its way towards them. Raph then said, "I think we're about to find out."
Each of them pulled out their weapons, ready in case whatever it was poses a threat. Emerging from the water was some kind of giant mechanical robot, severely damaged from its crash landing in the water. It looked down at them and then spoke in some unknown language.
"Hold it right there sparky!" Raph warned.
Donnie however suggested, "Guys….maybe its friendly."
"Donnie could be right." Mikey agreed. "Let me try something."
He walked up closer to it and tried speaking to it in a language he learned off a sci-fi movie. The robot however raised its arm and it transformed into a cannon. It aimed its weapon right at them and energy began to form, ready to fire.
Leo suddenly and without warning, charged and sliced its arm right off with his swords. It then bought down its other fist and tried to hit Leo, but the ninja turtle jumped out of the way. Raph leapt up and stabbed his sais into its neck, while Leo sliced at its stomach trying to bring it down.
Danny ran up to one of its legs and sliced it clean in half with his sword and then Mikey and Donnie attacked the other leg and finally as Raph jumped off it, it fell right on its back. Though it was defeated, Leo however jumped right on top of it and continued to attack it with his swords.
He let out a battle cry as he was about to continue to attack, but Raph and Danny grabbed his by his arms and held him back.
"LEO STOP! IT'S OVER! IT CAN'T HURT US NOW!" Danny shouted, trying to get through to his older brother.
"Danny is right! Back off bro!" Raph then tried.
Leo finally stopped and calmed down. Seeing that, his brothers released him.
"Geeze Leo. What's going on? I've never seen you act like that before." Danny thought in his head.
Mikey then noticed something in the middle of the robot and said, "It's a girl."
They all looked and did in fact see lying unconscious was an female alien woman. She had dark blue hair tied back in a tight ponytail, blue skin, pointy ears and was wearing battle clothing. They bought her back to their camp and placed her in a spare sleeping bag.
"Doesn't look like she's from around here." Mikey said.
"Blue skin your first clue?" Raph said sarcastically.
"Yeah, but where did she come from?" Donnie wondered as he placed a blanket over her.
Casey nervously stood at the stairs and then went up to the attic where Splinter was meditating. He made a fake cough to get his attention.
"Come in." Splinter said.
Casey entered and then asked, "Yo Master Splinter, you're like wise and all that stuff. I need some advice. What do you do if you got feelings for somebody and you just want to tell them something really important, but you don't know how to do it?"
"I am not an expert in such matters, but I am sure you should simply be yourself and trust your instincts." Splinter advised.
"Master Splinter, it's me we're talking about here." Casey reminded him.
Splinter thought for a moment and suggested, "Then perhaps a large breakfast served in bed with flowers. Yes! Many flowers."
Casey smiled, thankful for the advice. He left and said, "Thanks Master Splinter."
"Many, many flowers." Splinter added.
The next morning, Danny and the Turtles were training with each other. Raph was partnered with Mikey, Danny was partnered with Donnie and Leo was focusing on training by himself.
As they were training, Danny kept glancing at Leo. After last night, he had begun to notice a change in behaviour in his older brother. He just seemed, angry and moody and now that he thought about it, he had been like that since their final fight.
"Whatever is going on brother, don't face it alone." Danny said in his mind.
As Raph and Mikey faced each other in hand to hand combat training, Mikey landed a punch at Raph's shoulder and teased, "Getting a little sloppy there bro."
Raph growled and shoved Mikey hard, causing him to land right on top of the alien girl which woke her up. She growled and grabbed Mikey's arm.
"Sorry! It was my brother's fault. He…" Mikey tried to explain, but the girl flipped him right over her shoulder and sent him crashing right into the tree.
She got up and spoke in her language. Raph, Danny and Leo were about to go over and defend their brother, but Donnie stopped them while shouting, "HOLD IT!"
The girl turned around and faced Donnie and the others as he said in a calm manner, "We mean you no harm."
The girl pulled out some kind of device and then placed it at the collar she was wearing which glowed for a moment. Once she moved it away, she then spoke in English, "Why has Mariah sent her minions to do her dirty work? Why will she not face me in fair combat? Speak!"
"A universal translator…." Donnie said in awe at the tech. He then placed his staff down and walked up to her while explaining, "When we attacked you last night, we thought you meant us harm."
Seeing that they meant no threat or harm to her, the girl calmed down a bit and admitted, "I did. I thought you were my enemies."
"We're not." Donnie assured her.
"Peace." Mikey said, placing his hands up.
The girl groaned in pain and rubbed her arm. Donnie offered, "Your arm is hurt. I could look at it for you."
"It's just dislocated. How will looking at it help?" She asked, confused by his offer.
She then walked over to the tree that she threw Mikey at and suddenly, slammed her arm hard against it. She stretched it and said, "That's better."
"Who are you?" Donnie asked.
"I am called Jannah." She introduced herself.
After cooking some breakfast, they all sat around the campfire as Jannah explained her story, "I was bound for political battle, when my ship was blown from the sky. My people nominated me to defeat our world's present ruler; Mariah in fair combat to take her place."
"Sounds pretty much the same way we do it here." Mikey said, his mouth full of food.
"Not quite. You see we….well maybe not me and my brothers….but the other humans of this country elect a new leader and the old one steps down. It's more peaceful that way." Danny explained.
"Most of the time." Raph added.
Jannah stood up and said, "Your process sounds fair….if not a little boring…but Mariah is anything but a fair ruler. My people live in complete tyranny and fear because of her. It was she who shot me down before I could reach the designated battle ground."
"So, what will you do now?" Donnie asked.
She pulled out her device and clicked on a button. A light began to flash and a noise could be herd coming from it. She then slammed it into the ground as she said, "It will be decided here. Only one can return victorious."
Jannah then sat down with her legs crossed as she said, "And now, I must prepare myself for battle."
The others were silent for a moment. Donnie then offered, "Jannah, we want to help you."
"No Donatello." Jannah declined.
"But from what you said, how do you know Mariah will fight fairly?" Donnie asked.
"It is a chance I will have to take." She said and then the device began to make a different kind of noise. "She approaches."
In outer space, an intergalactic ship began to make its way through Earth's atmosphere.
"Can't you just tell your people she tried to ambush you?" Donnie asked as she stood up from the ground, while grabbing her device. "Get her disqualified or something?"
"No. This is our way. My honour is at stake. I will face her alone." Jannah said.
She then made her way towards the trees and then stood ready. Stepping out from the woods came the one known as Mariah. Her hair was long and red and she wore a more regal battle armour, along with a type of crown on her head.
"There you are Jannah. I missed you." Mariah teased. "A mistake I won't repeat this time."
"You face me in fair combat Mariah." Jannah spoke.
Mariah however, merely smirked and said, "Poor Jannah. Someone like you will never understand politics. It can get….messy."
Five huge alien monsters then emerged from the woods. One seemed to be made of pure ice, the other of rock, another one was some kind of goo alien monster, one of them was some kind alien-flying lizard type and the last one looked almost similar to a snake, only it was purple, had no eyes and had spikes on its back.
The monsters all stood around Jannah in a circle, ready to attack her. Once again, Mariah had shown she was definitely not going to be fair in this fight.
"Six against one?!" Mikey questioned, appalled by Mariah as he and his brothers all got their weapons ready and Danny also changed into his ghost form.
Jannah activated her laser weapon that came out in the form of a large, bladed spear and she charged while shouting, "Your cowardly tactics will not save you Mariah!"
Using her spear, she launched herself over the snake alien monster and avoided its jaws.
"Nice move." Raph commented.
"Our people have suffered for far too long!" Jannah shouted as she got closer to Mariah, only to be smacked away by the rock alien monster and sent straight into the mouth of the goo alien monster who swallowed her whole.
With her opponent trapped, Mariah smirked and snapped her fingers while pointing at Jannah. The rock alien monster pulled out what looked like some sort of grenade and activated it. He threw it at the goo alien monster who immediately swallowed it and as soon as it went inside, smoke began to fill its stomach.
"Let's even the odds." Donnie said.
All of them charged to go and help Jannah in her fight against Mariah and her alien monsters. Donnie flipped over the alien goo monster, and tried to poke a hole in its stomach, only to find it was hard and had to quickly dodge out of the way as it tried to grab him with its hands.
Leo charged at it and sliced one of its hands off and then sliced a deep cut, right across its stomach before he was whacked away. Donnie made his move quickly and pushed his staff right inside.
"GRAB ON!" Donnie told Jannah.
She immediately grabbed the end of the staff and allowed Donnie to pull her out, setting her free just as the grenade inside exploded. Donnie and Jannah ducked for cover.
"You okay?" Donnie asked as they stood up.
"I am." Jannah answered.
Just as she was about to thank him, the flying lizard alien monster swooped down and grabbed Donnie by his shoulders, carrying him off into the air.
"DONATELLO!" Jannah cried out.
She faced Mariah and charged at her again as she yelled, "Curse you Mariah!"
Raph and Leo faced off against the snake alien monster. Leo managed to make a cut at its face, causing to screech, but the cut instantly healed on its own. Before he could react, the snake alien monster charged and sent Raph hovering in the air for a moment and then he landed on its neck as it charged right through the woods.
They came out and Raph shouted, "YEE-FREAKING-HA!"
Mariah looked unamused and said, "Jannah, your new pets are amusing I'll give you that, but enough is enough!"
Jannah was about to attack her, but the rock alien monster grabbed her in its mighty fist and threw her right across the woods, causing her to crash land and hit a tree stump.
Sam, Tucker and Jazz watched as Casey was making a huge mess in the kitchen and saw the breakfast he was making April. Tucker picked up one of the pancakes, which immediately crumbled in his hands and the flowers he had gathered were falling apart.
"Uh Casey….I don't think April likes her pancakes extra crispy…" Tucker pointed out.
Casey stopped and then looked at the mess. He sighed and slumped down on a chair and said, "I'm not doing this right. Am I?"
Jazz patted Casey on the shoulder and then said, "We'll help you out."
She grabbed an apron and put it on as she said, "Okay, Sam you take Casey outside and help him gather some fresh flowers, since I know plants are your thing."
"Come on you love sick bonehead." Sam said, taking Casey by the hand and leading him outside.
"Tucker, make some new pancake batter while I'll squeeze some fresh oranges for juice and try and clear some of these dishes." Jazz ordered Tucker, who saluted like a soldier and immediately went to gather fresh ingredients.
An hour later, April woke up to the sound of the door knocking to the bedroom she was sleeping in and said "Come in."
Casey carefully opened the door, holding the tray and coming in as he said, "Morning. Hope you like breakfast in bed."
"Oh wow! This is a nice surprise." April said with a warm smile.
Casey set the tray down and on it were freshly made pancakes with butter and maple syrup, a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice and a small vase of beautiful flowers.
"I gotta remember to thank Sam, Tucker and Jazz later." Casey said mentally.
"It looks wonderful." April complimented and immediately took a bite out of one of the pancakes, moaning at the wonderful taste of them.
She swallowed it and then said, "It's really good and the flowers are lovely."
She then asked with a slight smirk, "Why are you being so nice? You didn't take my van apart again, did you?"
"Nah, nothing like that. There's just something I gotta say." Casey answered.
He took a deep breath and then began to speak, "You know how when you get a motorcycle running and you get it just right and its firing at perfect timing? And you just don't wanna mess with it because it's so perfect, but you gotta keep working on it because if you don't try to make it even better, you won't know if it will be even more perfect. You get me?"
"Ummmm….not really." April said honestly.
Casey sighed and sat on the bed and finally admitted, "April, I…I care about you. You and me, we're so perfect together and I was afraid to tell you cause I always mess things up, but I have to tell you because if I didn't, then you wouldn't know and…."
April gestured for him to stop and then said with a warm smile, "It's alright Casey. I care about you too."
Casey smiled back at her and the two continued to smile lovingly at each other.
Upstairs, Splinter smiled in his meditation and said, "The flowers were a really good idea and….having Sam, Tucker and Jazz help him was a good idea as well."
Donnie was still being carried in the air, until he grabbed onto the flying alien monster's ankles, flipped himself over and landed on its back. He grabbed onto its neck and began steer it right into the old saw-mill.
"Time to say goodbye!" Donnie shouted as he jumped off at the last minute and allowed it to crash land right into the destroyed building.
He ran over and grabbed his staff and saw Mariah walking up to Jannah who was on the ground.
"Jannah!" He shouted and began to run over to help her.
Leo and Raph were wrestling with the snake alien monster, who was trying to shake them off its body, but as soon as it touched a puddle of water, it began to screech and its body began to fizz and sizzle up.
"Let's slice this slime!" Raph said as he and Leo jumped off it.
They immediately sliced at its body where it was reacting to the water until it was cut in half, they stood back and suddenly watched as suddenly, the other half grew into another snake alien monster right before their very eyes.
"Uh oh! We just doubled our pleasure." Raph commented.
"Water hurts it. We have to get it into that lake somehow." Leo said.
Danny was facing off against the ice alien monster, who was throwing large shards of ice straight at him. Danny dodged left and right, turned intangible and even blasted some of the shards into tiny little pieces.
"I can't use ice with this guy, because it won't work." Danny said mentally, trying to come up with a strategy to take it down as he continued to manoeuvre the attacks.
He then looked towards their camp and saw that their campfire was still alight. That got him an idea, he turned invisible and then created a copy of himself and sent it to go fight the ice alien monster, while he made his way over to the campsite.
He went past the trees and found a bushy branch with some dead leaves and headed over to the fire. He held it over and set the branch alight with flames, before flying straight over and immediately his clone disappeared, causing the alien monster to roar in anger.
Danny flew right up to its mouth and shoved the flaming branch inside, forcing it to swallow. The ice alien monster immediately roared in pain as the flames heated it up and it began to melt. It gave off one last scream before it completely melted into water.
Mikey screamed as he was shoved to the ground by the rock monster.
"Down boy! Nice pet rock!" Mikey pleaded as he got back up and began running towards the saw-mill.
The rock alien monster followed Mikey and walked into the water as Mikey flipped across. Mikey dodged as it slammed its fist at him, only ending up breaking the brick wall separating the river between the large ditch Raph and Leo were in fighting against the alien snake monster.
The water rushed right in and hit the alien snake monster and completely melted it, leaving Raph and Leo covered a bit in its remains.
Mikey stood before them as Raph thanked him for the assistance, "Thanks bro."
"Sure." Mikey said.
"GUYS LOOK OUT!" Leo shouted as the rock alien monster was about to slam its fist again.
It slammed against the stone wall and some of the rocks landed on Mikey's legs, trapping him.
Raph and Leo went up to help him as the rock alien monster prepared a new grenade.
"Here we go again. This guy's got the persistence of….well a rock." Mikey said.
"GUYS GET DOWN!" Danny and Donnie shouted as they both landed in front of them.
Donnie sent the grenade back to the alien rock monster, which hit it dead on and caused it to explode in a million large pieces. Danny acted quickly and put up a dome shield around them, protecting them from the falling debris.
Mariah walked up to the unconscious Jannah and said with a grin, "So this fight is finally over. Ha! And I win!"
Jannah however got up and said as she pulled out her weapon, "NO! I've sworn to defeat you Mariah and for the sake of our people, I will!"
Mariah glared and said, "Whatever."
She pulled out her own laser bladed weapon and screamed as the two alien women charged at each other. Blade hitting blade could be heard as they clashed, Jannah jumped right over Mariah and kicked her in the back.
She landed and then said, "This is the way it was intended to be coward!"
Mariah screamed in anger and charged once again. Danny and the Turtles emerged from the crater and watched as the two clashed in single combat.
Donnie was about to go and help, but Danny stopped him and said, "Donnie. This is now Jannah's fight."
"Your family has abused its power for far too long Mariah!" Jannah said as they pushed their blades against each other. "You care nothing for your own people!"
"My people?! That rabble! Perhaps my ancestors felt something for those insects and yourself who are my so-called people, but I am not so burdened." Mariah gloated.
She sent a kick to Jannah's side and sent her slamming against the last remaining wall of the old saw-mill. Jannah quickly moved out of the way of Mariah's blade as she tried to slice her, only to end up slicing the wall instead.
"STOP MOVING!" Mariah said, getting frustrated.
She sent rocks at Jannah, but she used her weapon to push past the rocks and charge straight for her. She leapt up and slammed her weapon down at Mariah, but the queen moved right out of the way and began to run off.
"Cool move! I gotta remember that one." Mikey commented.
"What's wrong with you nun-chuck for brains?" Raph said.
Mariah stopped running and swiped Jannah's weapon out of her hand and then pinned her against a tree, placing her blade close to her face.
"Yield peasant." Mariah demanded. "Yield and I will at least allow you to live for one more day."
"No! As long I still breathe, I will never yield to you!" Jannah said defiantly, before stomping right on Mariah's foot, causing her to release her and drop her weapon.
The two women then began to fight with hand to hand combat. Jannah wrapped her legs around her from behind and flipped her away. Mariah got up and the two continued to throw and block blows at each other, but it was easy to see that Jannah was gaining the upper-hand.
Mariah fell to the ground and saw her weapon near Jannah.
"Your rule is at an end." Jannah said.
"Wrong again child!" Mariah said and then threw dirt in Jannah's eyes, blinding her.
Jannah stood still and waited as Mariah picked up her weapon. She listened carefully for Mariah to make her move. Mariah charged right for her, but Jannah ducked down just as she tried to slice her weapon at her head, and kicked her right in the stomach, sending Mariah into a fence.
Danny, Donnie, Raph and Mikey cheered for Jannah. Mariah groaned and looked up at Jannah weakly as she came over and stood with her weapon.
She raised her blade and bought it down.
"NO!' Mariah screamed, begging for her life.
But when no pain came, she looked and saw Jannah held her spear just an inch away from her face. Instead, she tapped the weapon against her and trapped her in a stasis bubble, declaring the fight was now over.
Jannah had won. Danny and the Turtles walked over and Donnie asked, "Is she….."
"No. But she has lost the election." Jannah answered.
Groaning, she almost fell from pure exhaustion but luckily, Donnie and Leo caught her. As they all slept that night, Jannah was awoken by a blinding light in the sky.
"Prime Magistrate Elected Jannah. Come. Your people have sent for you." A voice spoke.
Jannah stood up and said, "Time to go home."
She looked down at Donnie and activated her blade. She then put it behind her and cut off her pony tail and placed it on him.
She stood up, her hair now short and hanging down and said, "Farewell my friend and thank you."
With that final word, Jannah and her prisoner the ex-ruler Mariah were teleported away from Earth. As the sun rose the next morning, Danny, Raph, Mikey and Leo woke up to see Donnie looking up at the sky.
"She's gone." Donnie said, talking about Jannah.
"Yeah. That's gratitude for ya." Raph said.
April and Casey then arrived with the van and then Danny said as they packed up their camp, "Hey guys, you're not gonna believe what happened here in these woods the other day."
Mikey noticed Donnie was still not coming. He then said, "Come on Donnie."
Donnie was looking down at the piece of hair Jannah left and he placed it in his backpack, vowing to never forget Jannah and hoped as the new ruler of her home planet, she would bring a new era of peace to her people.
THE END.
