Paul's POV

I followed Sue into the bedroom. For some reason Jordan didn't want me to leave the house and I did suspect that she was afraid of what would happen. Though I would end up having to leave at one point I had to work tonight. I turned to Sue, "Let's get this over with, Jordan is freaked at the moment."

Sue nodded. "With Jordan taking your appointment, Sam is going to insist that you set up another one with me."

I nodded huffing running my hand through my short hair. "I know. How about we do Friday morning?"

She looked through her phone. "That works, 8 am?"

Nodding glancing at the door. "Should be fine. If not, I'll let you know, you pretty free that day?"

Sue smiled. "You will be my only one. Send me a text and let me know when works best for you as I'm sure Jordan will be at the station pretty early that morning."

I smiled. "I'm sure she will." I grabbed the door and we left the room. Everyone was in the dining room eating. Jordan was busy arguing with Lou about me. An evil grin marked Wordy's and Rav's faces as I got some pizza and Sue said her goodbyes to everyone.

I settled on the chair beside Jordan, placing a hand on her leg rubbing soothingly. She moved her leg next to mine and leaned into my touch causing me to smile. "What time you going to work on Friday?"

She shut her eyes for a second. "Spike, what all needs to be done to Baby Cakes on Friday?"

Spike smirked. "Oh, you know. Full overhaul, rebuild the rear left wheel-base, oh and the arm is acting funny now too."

She gasped. "What the hell did you do to it?"

Rav laughed. "Team three used it, or maybe it was team four they took it to a scene and it kinda got hit with a few things. They brought it back and left a note asking if you could repair it as you know we have the inspection on it on Monday morning."

She just shook her head. "I'll probably be waking my dad up at around 5 to go in. If I have that much work to get done, I'll be lucky to get it all done by noon."

I laughed. "Alright, I was just planning my appointment so 8 am should be good for me to have it then and I'll be there to pick you up when you are done. Just send me a text about an hour before you need me, okay?"

Wordy laughed. "Awe look at you two, making so many plans." He got up grabbing another piece of pizza before having a seat again. "Paul, what do you think is going to happen on Friday when you show up at the station?"

Jordan broke out laughing. "I can tell you one thing that won't happen. You guys won't be interrogating him at all." She smirked at him. "Cause neither one of us have asked the other one out so until that happens, he is completely off limits, according to the rules. Isn't that right, Spike?"

Spike gulped. "I mean technically it is part of them. If you two aren't actually dating, we can't do that, but it is totally unfair. You two are going out on a date with each other then you have to BE dating right, I mean it makes sense."

Jordan just shook her finger at him. "In theory yes. But it is a double date, or rather just 4 friends getting together. So, this all has to wait."

Sam started laughing almost choking on his coke he had in his hand. "Guys she is right, well except for one small minor detail."

I turned to him. "And that would be?"

Lou smiled. "The fact we have caught you guys kissing several times in the past few days. I mean that is how we got the cookies in the first place. So, question or not Jordan you may have found a slight loophole, but it isn't completely one."

Wordy and Rav both smiled turning their attention to me. "Okay now that we have that settled, my previous question still remains. What do you think is going to happen on Friday when you show up at the station?"

I glanced over at Jordan smirking. "Well seeing how we will probably have to leave as soon as I get there and Spike gave me his word that if I got him cookies then he would ensure we got to leave the station on time I suspect that Jordan will probably put the final touches on whatever she is doing and then we can leave."

Wordy turned. "We all lose our time because you wanted cookies?"

Jordan giggled beside me, sticking out her tongue at Wordy. "And Paul didn't even really have to make a deal to get them." She finished off her pizza.

I nodded. "Jordan took care of the deal for me today at lunch time." I winked down at her.

She smiled. "I'm full finally. But speaking of lunch time, care to come help me with more of my Quileute homework. I have one more page for you to check and you can do that while I correct those 3 questions and finish off the other page."

I looked towards Sam for a second who smiled. "Go ahead. Just leave the door open."

Jordan got up walking towards her room grabbing her bag from beside the love seat on her way there quietly.

We left the door open as she lay on her bed and pulled up a board from beside it pointing to the chair that was by her desk. "Have a seat if you want."

I sat down in the chair as she handed me a done page smiling. I looked it over checking each of the answers she had written down carefully before placing it back in the file. "Good job, all correct on that one."

She smiled before handing me the one she was done correcting. "There that one should be good too now." She looked at the final page. "Can we save that last one for tomorrow please?"

I glanced at it and nodded. "Yes, we can." I looked over her work on the page and smiled. "Well done on that Jordan."

She giggled. "Emily said something earlier about you having to work tonight?"

I pulled out my phone just as it started to ring. I nodded, "Should be heading over to Sam's in about 10 minutes." I pressed a talk button on my phone. I put the phone to my ear and crawled onto the bed and snuggled with Jordan. "Hey Sam."

'Was just wondering if you wanted tonight off? Embry said he'd love to go spend the night with Jake and Jared if you wanted.'

I looked down at Jordan. "Would you like me to stay with you tonight?"

She nodded. "I'd like to talk to you a bit."

"Yes Sam. Tell Embry thanks for me. Though I suspect this has something more to do with him and Jake wanting to spend some time together."

'Sure thing. Have a good night. We'll see the both of you here for breakfast.'

"Okay. Have a good night." With that I hung up looking down at Jordan. "What would happen if we did put on a movie and just snuggled here in your room on your bed?"

She shrugged. "I would probably fall asleep then we would be in big trouble as you would have to move without waking me and I'd be upset for you having to move."

I laughed. "Okay, so what movie are we going to watch tonight? I mean that pile of DVDs is gone for here."

She huffed at me before getting up and going to her tv and putting one into the player without letting me see it. "It is my all-time most loved movie ever. I watched it the other night."

I laughed when the title came up. "Avatar: the last air bender. Really?" it was the live action one that was made. Honestly a rather horrible movie, I couldn't believe that she actually liked it.

She nodded, snuggling even closer to me. "I love it. Plus, I was working on a drawing for it last week before leaving Toronto." She paused it. "I'm going to change into my pyjamas first before we actually really start this. Then climb into bed. So, if I do fall asleep, just turn off the tv when it is over, and it will all be good."

I smiled. "Good idea." I nodded. Going to get up to leave the room so she could change.

She shook her head. "Nuh uh. I am not letting you walk out that door on me. For one Wordy and Rav are just waiting to pounce. For two if they start, they will never stop especially if you let it slip about our plans on Saturday night."

I laughed for a second. "Don't you have to let your dad know you are coming on Saturday to the bonfire anyway. I mean we will be having dinner and you'll get to hear the tribe legends. It is totally awesome really; I want you there as my date. And you already agreed to come."

She nodded, leaning in to kiss my lips gently. "I get that, really I do. And I do have plans to come with you on Saturday evening. But right now, is not exactly the best time for me to be asking if I can go out to a bonfire on Saturday night with you."

Simply nodding at her I pull her down and actually start kissing her. "Jordan, I get it. Really, I do, but your father is not nearly has hard to deal with as Sam was on me."

She glanced at me, having a seat on the bottom of the bed facing me. "Why, I mean what did Sam do to you?"

I gulped. I couldn't explain everything to her but maybe if I did explain part of it, she might understand that she is currently getting off easy. "Okay so I pulled the same stunt as you did. Only I didn't go to the beach when I skipped it, I went off the reservation. This happened about 4 times before Sue called Sam and asked if he had been passing the messages onto me as to when my meetings with her were. That night at dinner after we ate, he confronted me. Ordered me to attend the next one then proceeded to have Jake and himself drag me to the meeting. Even came into the house with me. With Sam being the head of the council, he was very experienced in forcing me to do things. So, when I say I understand not wanting to go to them, I do understand. I know what happens when the full council gets involved because I have been there. I have had all my social privileges taken away. Trust me it wasn't very fun at all."

She nodded slowly to me. "Okay, but you still aren't leaving. I'll just go into the washroom and change then come back in here. If anyone says anything to me, I'll just tell them I'm not undressing in front of you and that should stop all arguments or comments towards me." She blushed for a second. "Plus, Lou brought some desert anyway, so I'll grab us each some."

I laughed for a second. "You get changed. I'll go get us some desert. Don't worry everything will be fine plus when you are done you can come out and get me." I winked at her standing up. "Don't worry about me, you haven't seen how good I can be with handling them. Plus, I have to use the washroom anyway that will take at least a few seconds." I winked at her before going to the door and shutting it on my way out.

After using the washroom. Jordan's door was still closed. So, she obviously isn't done changing yet so I decided to go to the kitchen. Everyone was sitting in the living room. Sam looked up at me with a smile motioning to the love seat.

"How is it going with her homework?" Rav I believe asked.

I nodded. "Pretty good. She is getting some of this language stuff. I gave her an English – Quileute dictionary for her to use so it should make everything a lot easier for her. We just left one-page empty as Seth did say that she did only have to do 2 and she got 3 done. So, I'm fairly happy with that."

Wordy nodded. "So why are you out here?"

I blushed ever so slightly. "Jordan wanted to change. We are going to watch a movie in her room, but she wanted to get into her pajamas first. So, if she does fall asleep then it won't be as hard for me to leave the room."

Jordan skipped out of her room, "You gotten some desert for us yet?"

I shook my head at her. "You were right. They had questions for me to answer when I came out of your room." I laughed as she turned to glare at each of them. She was fairly calm most of the time but when she was around these guys, she was completely different. It was nice to see this side of her when she is actually relaxed a bit more. Which means part of me calmed at the same time watching her stand there and glare up at Wordy and Rav as they each made comments quietly to her concerning what they desired to do to me on Friday.

Jordan grabbed 4 cupcakes placing her hand in mine and pulling me towards her room.

"Okay, get settled under your blankets and we can watch this movie and snuggle. Then when you undoubtably fall asleep I'll turn the dreadful movie off and go sleep on the couch." I smiled down at her snagging one of the cupcakes. "Mmm these are actually good. Who made them?"

Jordan laughed. "Don't worry I doubt any of the guys made them seeing how none of them can really cook that well." She lay on the bed and snuggled under her blankets on the bed.

I looked around the room with really blank walls. "You know Jordan you should make this room more girly. I mean I think this is the blankest room I've ever been in."

She giggled at me before starting the movie and nibbling on one of the cupcakes. I lay back and pulled her to me and snuggled. When the movie was just about over, I looked down and found her asleep. Very gently I pulled my arm out from under her and turned off the tv in her room before leaving it. Out in the living room Wordy and Sam were still sitting there talking.

"She finally fall asleep?" Sam asked looking up at me from his coffee cup.

I nodded. "Ya, she is sound asleep now." I thought for a second. "If you are both staying here for the night I was going to slip out, I need to talk to Sam for a bit."

Wordy nodded. "Everything okay?"

Smiling and nodding to them. "Ya everything is fine. Just I need to inform him about my change in appointment as he will be on my ass tomorrow most of the day."

Sam nodded and waved. "Good luck." I went to leave before he called back. "And Paul thanks for giving up your appointment for Jordan."

I nodded. "I hope it goes well."

I left, there was a bit of hope. I would for sure make sure that Jordan actually made it to her appointment tomorrow but what would happen during it did concern me. I wanted to talk to Sam a bit and try to convince him to not let Sue pursued him into letting the full council be called to deal with this situation if stuff didn't go well at the meeting.

Jordan's POV – Wednesday Morning

I woke up yawning and stretching. Looking around the room I notice that Paul is gone, though everything is still dark. Glancing at my phone from it's charging pad I realize that it is only 4:30 am, then noticed 8 messages. I pulled them open glancing at the senders quickly. 1 from Quil, giggling it is probably something to do with the math work. 5 from Paul, maybe I should read those ones first. And finally, 2 from an unknown sender, okay that is odd.

I pulled up the messages from Paul and read them all.

Hey, had to slip out to talk to Sam, should be back to your place by the time you wake up.

Okay, sleeping on your couch. We are never watching that movie again. It was horrible!

Jordan, Sam just called. Problem I have to help with. Don't worry, I'll meet you at his place in the morning.

Problem bigger than thought, Quil will meet you to walk you to school. I have to stay at work for the morning. I'll meet you between English and Math though promise.

Ignore last message. Just meet me at Sam's in the morning. Hope you slept well, princess.

I laughed at the last message quickly texting him back. I'll see you at Sam's in about an hour. Have to wake my dad and get my meds and have a shower and everything. See you by about 5:30.

The next one I read was the one from Quil. It did make me giggle as I read through it. The boy was completely hopeless in Math.

Jordan, when you get to Sam's in the morning. I forgot to do a full page of the math work. You have to help me this shit is impossible. And you better be coming to class today. If not, I'll end up failing the quiz that is planned for Monday.

This made me laugh though no sound did come out. I pressed reply, laying back against my pillows happily. Yes Quil, I'll help you out when I get to Sam's in the morning. We have a quiz on Monday ?

Sighing I opened the unknown sender messages. There were only 2 of them to deal with so I might as well read them and find out what they wanted.

Hey Jordan, it's Jared. I wanted to apologize for the way Kim has been acting towards you. She knows it is wrong and has been ordered by Sam to simply say she is sorry.

Oh, by the way. Happy to hear you are coming to the bon fire on Saturday. Should be a fun night for all of us. Listening to the legends is great. Okay, see you at Sam's in the morning.

I didn't see a real need to reply to either of those. However, I was slightly surprised that Paul had told him that I was coming to the bon fire that they were having. Oh well. I grabbed my school clothes for today and went out of my room intent on having a shower then waking my dad to get him to give me my meds and then walking over to Sam's after that.

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the water. Having a very quick shower before getting dressed. I pulled my hair up into just a ponytail hoping that would make him happy and maybe I could convince him to stay a bit for the meeting that we were having. I didn't like the idea of staying there with Sue alone. Which is probably one of the main reasons why I hadn't bothered to attend the meeting that was being held on Monday. Plus, how was I supposed to ask Sue to come join me at the beach I didn't have her phone number so there was no way for me to contact her.

Walking out into the kitchen after grabbing my school bag, having put all my work into it last night before watching the movie. Sam was in the kitchen with Wordy.

"Are you upset Paul isn't here this morning?"

Shaking my head, I glanced at Sam. After taking the liquid horror in the syringe, I took a breath smiling at Wordy. "Nope. Paul texted me a bunch of times through the night about it. I am meeting him over at Sam's this morning and walking with him to school."

With that I grabbed my sweatshirt and left. Heading for Sam's place and hoping that I could sneak into the back. When I got there, there were tons of vehicles already in the driveway. What happened did everyone decide to come early. I walked around back knocking on the door leading to the kitchen. The door was locked though, however when Emily seen me at the door, she opened it.

"What the hell are you doing trying to sneak in the back door?" She scolded.

I gulped. "All the guys are here, so I figured the living room would be overcrowded." I smiled up at her giving her my most innocent look.

She nodded, before yelling towards the living room. "Paul, Jordan is here."

He came rushing into the kitchen, hugging and nuzzling my neck happily. My hands roam to his arms he felt warm, but he was trembling. "You okay, Paul?"

He nodded. "Now that you are here. Come sit in the living room with me."

I nodded. He had calmed a bit but there was still something about what had happened last night that has him scared. When we got to the living room, he pulled me into his lap, snuggling and sucking on my collar bone.

"Paul," I gasped at him. "You are going to leave a mark there on me."

A deep growl escaped his mouth.

Jared was smirking happily. Quil, Embry, Jake, and Leah all had unreadable looks on their faces. "Okay, will someone please explain what is going on right now?"

Sam just shook his head. "Jordan, he just missed you last night. I didn't mean to call him away from you, but we had an issue. He was just scared you'd be mad at him for leaving last night after he had promised that he would be there all night."

I ruffled his hair. "I'm not mad. You texted me, though it was kinda funny reading the texts. They did make me laugh quite a bit."

Kim came out of the kitchen looking at all of us. "Emily says that breakfast is ready, she wants Jordan to come make up a plate for herself."

I nodded. Getting up from Paul's lap, he moaned at me. "I have to go get some food, so you guys can eat as well. I mean with having to work all night you have to be hungry." I laughed at him, walking towards the kitchen and food.

While I was filling my plate, Kim came up behind me. "Jordan, I wanted to say I'm sorry for whatever part I had in the other day." She held her arms out.

I hugged back. "We are good. Don't worry about it." I looked at her empty. "We best get our food; I mean the guys are probably hungry."

We both laughed. Settling down at the table discussing ideas for Friday night's date.
