Tom watched B'Elanna walk across the stage and get her master's degree. She had done it and he was proud of her. She had put a lot of time into it. To Tom she was wonder woman because she had done this, had three kids to look after, and been a wife to him. He could see the big smile on her face as she made it back to her seat. He couldn't wait to give her the flowers he had for her.

After the last person's name was said, Tom was ready to make his way over to her, but he had to stay in his seat until everything was done. Tom almost ran to her when he was allowed to. "I'm so happy," He kissed her and spun her around the flower getting crushed between them.

B'Elanna pulled away laughing. "Me too," She took the flowers that he had and saw how crushed they were. "Thank you for the flowers."

Tom only smiled. "I'll get you some new ones," B'Elanna shook her head and lanced her arm through his.

"Let's go home," She said. Tom nodded and they left the building.

When they got home, Miral and Xavier ran to them telling them all about their day. The babysitter was holding Selena. Tom had bent down towards the two older children while B'Elanna went and claimed the baby. She was only a year old and was perfect for their little family. B'Elanna paid the babysitter before watching the babysitter leave.

B'Elanna watched as Tom took the kids to the backyard. They needed to lose some of the energy before lunch. Tom had wanted to take her out to celebrate, but B'Elanna wanted a quiet evening with her family. Tomorrow they were having a party for their friends and family, and she knew that it was going to be busy. They had so much to do beforehand so tonight was going to be quiet for them or as quiet it was going to be with three children.

"This is some party," Harry slapped Tom on his back.

Tom turned away from the backyard to see his best friend smiling at him. "Hello, Lieutenant Kim."

Harry laughed and hugged Tom. "It's a good thing to see you after all this time. How long has been since I last saw you?"

"Five years ago, before your four-year mission trip," Tom saw his daughter and son playing with their cousins. "How was your four-year mission?"

"It was good. I see that a lot has changed with you. Two more children," Harry watched the children too.

Tom's smile was secretive. "Yeah, I don't know how B'Elanna, and I do it," Tom eyes went to find his wife. He found her talking to Janeway. "So, when are you going to settle down and have a family?" Tom asked. It was one thing that he enjoyed the most was being a husband and father.

Harry laughed. "It was a little hard to find love in a starship," Tom lifted one eyebrow. "I didn't mean it's not possible, you and B'Elanna are the exception." Harry pointed to Tom's finger.

"Where is the lady of the hour?" Tom and Harry turned around to find Chakotay standing there.

"Commander," Harry said.

Chakotay laughed. "I haven't been called Commander in years, Lieutenant."

Harry blushed. Tom decided to step in before Harry put his foot in further. "Where is Seven?" Tom asked. He didn't see Seven anywhere next to Chakotay.

Chakotay frown. "She couldn't get out of work. She told me to go because it was B'Elanna."

Tom nodded. "B'Elanna is over there," Tom pointed to where B'Elanna was standing, talking to Admiral Janeway. Chakotay nodded, took a breath, and made his way over to them. Tom and Harry exchanged a look.

Chakotay touched B'Elanna's back and that had her turn around. "Chakotay," B'Elanna hugged him. "I didn't think you would make it."

Chakotay gave her a half smile. "Seven basically kicked me out," B'Elanna let out a laugh. Chakotay turned to the other woman in the group. "Kathlyn," He said her name like an old friend who didn't know what to say to an old friend that they were close to.

"Chakotay," Kathlyn Janeway said. "Congratulation, B'Elanna," Janeway turned and saw someone she knew. "Excuse me," B'Elanna looked between her former captain and commander, she always wondered what happen to them. She asked Chakotay what happen, but he only told her that he had moved on.

"So, what is the plan with this degree?" Chakotay didn't want to spoil B'Elanna's day.

B'Elanna saw what Chakotay did and smiled. "I'm going to teach at the academy and maybe go for my doctorate."

Chakotay raised one eyebrow. "And raise three kids," Both turned to where the kids were playing.

"Miral!" B'Elanna yelled as she saw her daughter trying to sneak around the tree that would lead to the lake. She saw some of Miral's cousins already on the path to the lake. B'Elanna saw her sisters-in-law making their way over to the children. B'Elanna stood there with her sisters-in-law as they watched the children as the ones who were over the fence started to climb back over into the yard.

"Whose idea, was it?" Sarah, the older one of her sisters-in-laws said. She was looking at her youngest, who was also the oldest of the group. The older ones of the group of children traded a look.

"Miral," Ian said to his mother and aunts. They all raised an eyebrow. Miral was the youngest of the group.

"Are you sure?" Sarah asked her son. He nodded.

B'Elanna turned to her daughter. "Miral, are your cousins, right?" Miral crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. B'Elanna took a breath before she lost her temper. "Miral Paris," There was a warning in her voice.

Miral glanced around at her cousins, who all had different looks on their faces before looking at her mother. "I wanted to go to the lake. I don't want to be here. It's boring."

B'Elanna closed her eyes. "Miral, please go to your room. Your father and I will talk to you later." Miral threw her mother a look before stumping in the house. It was quiet before they heard a door slam in the house. "I'm sorry," B'Elanna smiled to the crowd. "Parenting isn't easy," Everyone who was a parent smiled.

"Let's go in the house," B'Elanna felt Tom at her back. Tom gave everyone else his easy smile. "Excuse us, we have a daughter to deal with. Please continue to have some food and drinks," Tom took B'Elanna's hand and pulled her into towards the house.

Tom led her to a bar stool at the kitchen island. She took a seat and buried her head into hands. "When did our daughter become such a smartass?" B'Elanna asked her husband.

Tom smiled and lifted B'Elanna's head. "She gets it from her mother," He kissed her lips.

B'Elanna broke the kiss and glared at him. "She also gets a dose to two from her father."

Tom laughed and stepped between her legs. "So, what are we going to do about your daughter?"

B'Elanna lifted one eyebrow. "Last time I checked you were her father," Tom smiled, thinking about how she was conceived. "Get that look off your face, we have two other children to think about."

"I know," Tom kissed her. "So how are we going to punish Miral?"

B'Elanna sighed. "No lake for two weeks," She wrapped her arms around him and took in the scent of her husband that she loved so well. She let go of him. "Let's go talk to Miral."

They made their way upstairs, knocked on Miral's door, and before going in. Miral was standing by the window. Looking out to the backyard. "Miral come here," B'Elanna sat on Miral's bed. Tom took a child's chair, placed it in front of the bed, and took a seat. Miral looked between her parents before taking a seat on the bed.

"Miral, you don't sneak around to go to the lake. You need to ask Mommy or me about going to lake," Miral looked at her father and mother before nodded. "Because you didn't ask us, no lake for two weeks," Miral's eyes widen and looked at her mother. B'Elanna nodded.

Tears welled up in Miral's eyes. B'Elanna put an arm around her daughter. B'Elanna traded a look with Tom. "You can spend the rest of day in your room." Tom and B'Elanna got up, Tom put the chair away, and left the room.
