Jordan's POV

When we got to Sam's Jake came towards the back of the house with me where Paul was waiting just sitting on a log.

Jake stopped me from walking closer to him though with a hand in front of me. "Do you know who told on you and Quil?"

I thought for a second. "Probably Amanda. She has been hanging around Kelly all week and I think they are in the same grade. She was smirking the entire time we had gotten into trouble but no one else was around when Quil and I went to the teacher after class to explain to her that we had actually done all of the pages and Quil said he was trying to grab the pages as quickly as he could so that Jared wasn't going to be late for class."

He nodded and smiled over at Paul waving him towards us. "The two of you need to talk. As I assume you will be staying for dinner tonight, I will let Emily know. Don't take too long to explain everything to him."

I nodded before continuing to walk towards Paul hugging him when I made it to him. "I have really missed this."

He hugged me back sniffing my hair. "Your appointment went okay this afternoon?"

I nodded. "Now I have Sue's number even. Jake had even forgotten about the appointment so had Sam I am really glad Embry had been with me when my timer went off. But good news because I called, I am not in any trouble for being late for the meeting."

He smiled at me. "I am glad about that. Now what is going on with this grounding thing?"

I huffed out a breath before leading him over to the steps of the deck. "Okay so remember on Thursday I was sick and stayed home?"

He nodded to me. "Yes, I remember that."

"Well Quil had gone and picked up our schoolwork for the day. Only he managed to pick up 2 grade 12 pages instead of 2 of the grade 11 pages. The teacher made a huge deal of it in class but after class when we explained to her what had happened, she completely understood and gave us an extension on the two pages to the next day."

He scratched his head. "I don't understand how that got you grounded."

I giggled at him. "I am getting there. So, one of the girls in the class, I am pretty sure it was Amanda told Kelly who told her father who called my father and somehow Quil's Grandfather. Anyway, instead of asking me my father overreacted and just grounded me. According to Sam, my father was supposed to explain this entire thing to both of us when you came over this afternoon after school. Only he wasn't exactly in the mood especially after Jake pulled his entire stupid order voice on me and managed to somehow get me to open the door."

"So, you aren't in trouble anymore?" he asked curious.

I shook my head. "As far as I know the only ones who are in trouble at the moment is anyone who helped watch over me this week after I got grounded. But Ed is taking care of that right now probably, so I need to stay over here for a bit."

Dinner passed that night pretty slowly and before I knew it Friday was here, and I was just making it home from school. Paul had been amazing actually convincing me to call Ed to tell him that mistakes happen and just asking them all to be a little more careful next time and bring Sam into the loop. My father had agreed and explained that next time he would at least ask me what was going on. I had left Kim with Jared about half an hour ago at his place just walking next door to mine trying to figure out what to wear to this date night with Paul. All he had told me was that it was going to be something super casual, and we were going to the beach then for a walk, so to dress warmly but make sure I could still move around enough.

Jake had caught up with me earlier today with a note from him as he was at work for part of the afternoon.

I still hadn't told anyone about the super weird dream I had had the night following the bonfire, but it was really cute. I had kept my eyes open for that wolf knowing that it was probably one of the ones who watched over the reservation with the guys. The howl that had sounded was similar to the one that had sounded the night we were outside watching that wolf.

I had gone through my closet 4 times before I finally decided on a turtleneck, one of my hoodies and a pair of jeans. That seemed very casual but also very warm. I think Paul has this funny idea with picnics he tends to like them at the beach. The thought made me giggle as I braided my hair. I know he usually likes it down but if we are going to be eating outside then maybe it blowing in my food wasn't that nice. I had noticed the night of the bonfire it got in the way quite a bit and I was really actually frustrated with it by the end of eating. I was still trying to figure out how it had gotten braided that night. I shrugged off the thought and went back to getting ready. Paul should be here in the next few minutes and currently Wordy and Rav were both standing at the door of the house.

I walked out of my room glaring at the two of them. "You both realize that Paul isn't intimidated by either of you right?" I giggled when they both turned to glare at me.

"So where are you two going?" Rav asked having a seat on the couch.

I shrugged. "His note today said to dress warmly but go extremely casual. Embry let it slip that it had something to do with going to the beach for finger foods then going for a walk in the woods and maybe getting to meet a few of the other wolves that roam the reservation."

Wordy laughed. "You have been obsessed with wolves since you got to Sam and Jules. What is it with them and you? Now we have huge ones apparently that protect us."

I shrugged. "Honestly I don't know how much of that I actually believe but either way I have seen these wolves, and they are much bigger then the ones that were at the Toronto Zoo."

Rav smiled. "Alright. Wordy and I are going to stay here for the date. Sam should be home in about an hour and the three of us are going to play cards until you get home. Sam wanted me to remind you about your curfew tonight."

I nodded. "I know I either have to call by 11pm or be home by midnight." I laughed as Paul pulled up in his truck. He was wearing something similar to me. Only I was betting that the shirt under his sweatshirt was probably just a t-shirt.

Wordy smiled getting the door inviting Paul in. He came over kissing my cheek before turning to the two SRU officers sitting in the living room. "Home by midnight or she calls here before 11 saying she is going to be later."

Paul nodded. "I understand. We are just going to have a picnic then going for a walk in the woods. We should be home by 10. I don't want her not to get a good enough sleep." He glanced down at me. "You have to go to the station tomorrow?"

I shrugged glancing at the two. "I don't think so. Plus, Jake said we could go for a walk tomorrow and he would explain to me what is happening."

Paul laughed. "Yes, he did say he would do that didn't he."

Paul's POV

The drive to the beach was short. Jordan looked really warm in what she had on, but I was still glad I had set up a tent for us. Jake had suggested I borrow the one from Sam's for a windbreaker for us for dinner tonight and the little space heater to go into the sand.

She laughed and looked up at me when we walked towards the tent. "I thought it would be nice to have a windbreaker for our dinner tonight. Actually, it was Jake's idea."

We sat down and started picking at the finger food that Emily had prepared for us for tonight. It was a decent spread but still it was nothing too fancy which I figured would be perfect for her.

"So, listen." She laughed and started opening again. "There is this Gala thing that Sam's work is throwing in 3 weeks. I have to go to it, something about all my work on Babycakes Sam is making me go. But I was kind of hoping that you might join me then it wouldn't completely suck."

I almost choked on the food in my mouth. "Does this mean you in a dress?"

She blushed. "Unfortunately."

I clapped my hands hugging her. "I would love to go and make your evening less sucky."

She smiled. "So, Kim said that she went on one of these dates with Jared just after his first times bringing her to listen to the legends."

I nodded. "Yes, though hers was a lot more fancy. Jared took her out to a restaurant in Forks and then took her for a walk. I thought that this would be more your style, was I wrong?"

I shook my head. "Honestly, a tent picnic on a beach with a space heater is the perfect night out for me especially if it includes you." She smiled kissing my neck.

When the food was gone, she laughed. "So, clean up and then walk in the woods to maybe see a few of the wolves?"

I scratched my head. "Ya. You were expecting to see any wolf in particular?"

She hid her face in my chest but nodded. "So, the night we went to the bonfire, I had the weirdest dream. I had this silver wolf in my bedroom. The only reason I knew it was a dream is because there is no way I could have snuck a wolf by you in the living room. Anyway, there was a howl in the forest and the wolf cover its ears so he couldn't hear it. Only it sounded again, I hugged it and told it to go with my hands. Then it licked me and ran off."

"So, you wanted to see that silver wolf?" I asked her

She nodded. "That would be amazing. I was almost upset cause I am pretty sure it was one of the ones that you had said I could have the day of the bonfire but then you convinced me to go for the other one cause those two would get along better. Now I am happy with my choice, but I am still very much wanting to see this silver wolf."

I nodded pulling her towards the woods and our meeting spot.

"So, this place right where you are standing is where Jared brought Kim after their date. It also happens to be where Sam brought Emily after their first real date. This place, well there is truly nothing really special about it." I took a breath taking a step away from her. "Remember the legends you heard on the weekend at the bonfire?"

She nodded holding her hands were they were. She seemed to be taking this all really well.

"Well, they are all true. Each and every one of them. Me, Leah and the others we can transform ourselves into wolves."

I stopped for a second watching her put the pieces together.

"So, the wolves from Saturday were some of the guys?"

I nodded. "Embry and Quil. Embry was the one from the other night that was playing cute outside your house. Quil is the one who you had seen on your day here when you were supposed to be at your counselling appointment with Sue."

"So, who is the Alpha, and what does all this have to do with us?"

I laughed, she wasn't freaking out she was actually accepting all of this completely. "Sam is the Alpha though Jake has some alpha powers. And I said all of the legends are true which means you are my imprint. We hold each other to this earth. Two pieces that were completely made for each other and no one else."

She nodded. "So do these alpha powers have anything to do with how he can make me listen to him when he talks to me sometimes?"

I shrugged. "Honestly, we don't exactly know the answer to that. Kim and Emily don't react the same way you do. But Leah does react like you do. There are a lot of questions still we don't have answers to though I couldn't keep this from you any longer. I have been wanting to tell you since the day we all seen you at the beach as we were going cliff diving during lunch. Even before you had seen me that day; we had met eyes, and you were my entire world."

Jordan smiled. "Okay well there must be some cool stuff you can do? And who is the silver wolf that I had seen in my dream that night?"

I laughed again. "Cool stuff, well I don't know if any of this is cool, but we can hear each others' thoughts even when we are in human form if they are being pushed towards us. We heal faster than regular humans which is a good thing. We run a slightly higher temperature than regular people to. As for who the silver wolf is, if you wait here and trust me, I will let you meet it?"

She gave me a funny look then opened her mouth. "Will you be with it?"

I grinned at her. "I am the silver wolf."

She clapped her hands jumping up and down slightly. "Yes. I want to meet it, please!"

I kissed her running slightly away before stripping out of my clothes and phasing. Quil and Jake were instantly in my thoughts. Both congratulating me for telling her and having nothing go wrong on me like it had for the other two. I barked out a laugh and went to go see Jordan.

She was leaning up against a tree when I came through the trees moving slowly to not scare her. When she looked up a smile bigger than I had ever seen was plastered on her face. She was happy and that is all I wanted. I rubbed up against her and licked her face from chin to forehead. She laughed at me pushing my big head away. I laughed nudging her with my nose so she could sit down as I ran back to the spot and changed back human.

"Now you can't tell your father about this. But I was hoping that if you knew then maybe Embry and I could talk to you again about our actual true experiences when it came to counselling cause we were a part of this when they happened. I mean you know most of it but there are some things that you don't know about."

She looked at me and for the first time tonight I seen fear in her eyes. "Will Sam use this against us? I mean to force me to go?"

I shook my head. I wanted to get that out of the way first. "No Sam won't. If he even tried Emily would probably forbid him to eat or touch her. He had asked me to do things cause he knew about this bond that we have. And this has allowed Embry and I to get away with a few things when we have acted out against him."

Jordan nodded glancing at her phone. "We should probably get heading for my house."

I looked at the time. It was 10:30 and we only half an hour to get home unless she would probably get in trouble again. Though I was curious about what would happen if she did manage to break curfew. "So, what happens when you do break your curfew?"

She shrugged. "Honestly that has never happened. I mean if we wanted to stay out later with it being a Friday night all I would have to do is call right now and Sam would be fine with it."

I nodded, almost shocked that she had never pushed the buttons even a little bit when it came to this thing. She seemed to be one that was the rebel, but she also was very innocent. Smiling I pulled her up as we headed for my truck. "Do you think we could make out a bit in your driveway? I mean just text your dad when we get there and tell him you are in the yard, we are just spending a bit more time together."

She laughed. "Oh, sure that would go over great. Though my father, Rav, and Wordy are all singing your praise still after what you managed to do earlier this week for them."

I smiled. "Well, it was the right thing to do. They made a mistake and Quil said that if his grandfather hadn't called Sam first, he would have gotten into a lot of shit too. Though with this reading each other's minds it made it all Sam had to do was shift and have Quil shift, or phase and he saw the entire conversation."

Her eyes went blank for a second before she put a few things together again and started laughing just as we made it to the truck. "On Saturday when Sam was trying to get the wolves to stay in the yard. I told Embry that he should listen and stop running off. Jake got mad at me when I came back into the house saying if I was going to help Sam that his fun was over."

I laughed remembering seeing her do that with Embry. She had admitted to him that she was upset with him running off on her the other night and the problem he had caused. "I know. Jake had a bet going with all of us of how long it was going to take Sam to get both of them in the yard and to the tree at the same time. Of course, Embry won that bet cause he was one of the ones in control of it."

We pulled into her laneway. "Can you stay part of the night?"

I nodded to her. "I can stay the whole night. Sam gave me the night off. Well, no Leah took my shift for me tonight which is why I was working Monday and Tuesday morning this past week."

When we got to the door of her house she opened it slowly. We had taken our time getting out of the truck and we both had climbed out the passenger side. I had looked at her funny when she motioned for me to do that. It was slightly difficult, but we still managed to get it done. When we got to the door, she covered her mouth as she swung the door open outward giggling as Rav and Sam both fell to the ground with Ed and Wordy just standing there.

"Spying on us?" She looked at the two on the ground, batting innocent eyes at them. Before turning to the other two. "And why are you up from the card table?"

They both paled and pointed to the other one.

She walked inside pulling me down the hallway towards her room. "I'm going to go into the bathroom and get changed into my pyjamas then I am going to bed. You can say goodnight to me and then decide what your next plan is."

After saying goodnight and tucking her into bed I went out to the living room where they had gone back to the cards. "I'm going to crash in the spare room. I promised Jordan I would spend the night again."

Ed nodded just as phones started going off. "Emergency situation in north end. They are requesting 2 of us go but not bomb."

Sam stood up looking at Ed. "It should be us."

They both nodded and left. Rav glanced at me. "I'll take Jordan's meds over to Lou; he can give them to her in the morning. Those two will probably be gone until at least noon tomorrow cause it might be an emergency that requires a sniper shot."

I nodded before heading to the room. I sent Jordan a quick text letting her know that I was in the room next door to hers. Just in case she woke up with another nightmare and needed me. And that Rav was taking her meds over to Lou cause her father and Ed were gone to call.

She texted back okay and for me to sleep well.
