"Hmm. I like this," B'Elanna closed her eyes for a moment.

"What? Me massaging your feet," Tom smiled at his wife.

"Yes," B'Elanna opened her eyes and looked at Tom. "I have glass of wine and the latest Klingon romance novel on my PADD." She held up her PADD and pointed to the wine on the coffee table.

Tom laughed before going back to B'Elanna's feet on his lap. It was moments like these that he loved. When it was just the two of them and the house was quiet with three active children. Tom closed his eyes and took the moment with great pleasure. He knew that his wife liked these moments too.

"Mom," And the silence was broken by one of their children. Tom traded a look with B'Elanna as they heard feet running down the stairs to the family room. They looked up to see their oldest standing there with her arms crossed.

"Yes, Miral," B'Elanna sighed.

"Tell Xavier stay out of my room," Miral shouted towards the stairs.

Before B'Elanna could yell for Xavier, he ran down the stairs. "Her room has the best light right now."

B'Elanna closed her eyes. Xavier was in his artist mood right now. "Xavier, stay out of your sister's room." Xavier threw his sister a look. "Xavier," B'Elanna warned him.

"Fine," Xavier mumbled. He threw his sister another look before running back upstairs.

Miral smiled at her parents before running upstairs again. B'Elanna picked up her glass of wine and took a sip. She threw Tom a look. "Thanks for the help."

Tom smiled "They called for you," B'Elanna rolled her eyes and went back to her PADD.

"Mom," It was quiet for a moment. B'Elanna sighed as Selena came into view. "Can you tell Miral to hurry up in the bathroom? I would like to take a shower." B'Elanna saw Selena holding a towel.

B'Elanna set her PADD down and stood. She threw her husband a look before following their daughter upstairs. Tom leaned back and chuckled. He heard B'Elanna fighting with Miral about what she was doing in the bathroom. B'Elanna came down a few minutes later. She settled back on the couch and put her feet back in Tom's lap.

"What was she doing in the bathroom?" Tom asked.

"Doing something with make-up when we told her that she couldn't use make-up until she was thirteen." B'Elanna took a sip of her wine. "Why did we have children again?"

Tom could answer they heard. "Mom, Xavier on the roof again."

Tom and B'Elanna jumped off the couch and ran outside to see Xavier sitting on the edge of the roof, swinging his legs. He had a drawing pad in one hand and a pencil in the other. "Xavier," B'Elanna shouted. "What are you doing up there?"

Xavier looked down and smiled at his parents. "Drawing since Miral won't let me in her room, I thought that the roof was the next best option."

"Xavier, please get off the roof and back in the house. You can always draw from the backyard or the front of the house. You don't need to go on the roof. I don't need you to hurt yourself."

Tom and B'Elanna watched him as he climbed back in his bedroom window and closed the window. B'Elanna and Tom stood for a moment until they heard Xavier running down the stairs and out the backdoor. They went back in and settled on the couch again.

"Do you want me to answer your earlier question?" Tom asked.

"No," B'Elanna took a big drink of her wine. "We made a mistake about having children."

Tom moved B'Elanna legs off his lap. She threw him a look. "I don't think that we made a mistake having children," Tom leaned over B'Elanna and placed his lips on hers. "We did have fun creating them." Tom broke the kiss for a moment.

"Tom," B'Elanna broke the kiss to laugh.

Tom leaned closer to B'Elanna's ear. "Our honeymoon, a pair of boots, and a pool table," Tom list the ways that they conceived their children. He kissed her right behind her ear.

"Tom," B'Elanna laughed. "Each one of those was memorable and now we have products of those nights."

"It was the price to pay," Tom started to kiss her down her neck. "To be with the woman I love." B'Elanna let out a moan. "I think that we need another memorable night that doesn't evolve creating monsters."

B'Elanna laughed and wrapped her arms Tom. "What do you plan, Mr. Paris?"

"Gross," Tom and B'Elanna turned their heads to see all three kids standing there. Tom got off B'Elanna and sat on the edge of the couch.

"What do you want?" Tom growled at his children.

"We want to watch a movie," Selena told her father with her arms crossed and a glare.

Tom turned to Xavier. "I thought that you were drawing," Than he turned back to Selena. "I thought that you were showering."

"I'm done," Xavier smiled at his father.

"I finished my shower," Selena smiled.

Tom turned to his wife, who shrugged. He turned back to his children. "Fine," He said with a sigh. All three children smiled. "As long as you can agree on a movie," Tom knew that his children had a hard time choosing a movie together. "Your mother and I will get the popcorn," Tom stood and helped B'Elanna up.

Tom and B'Elanna went to the kitchen to grab the popcorn and drinks. Tom turned to the kids to see them arguing about the movie. "Do you think they will agree on a movie?"

"I don't know," B'Elanna took the popcorn out of the replicator. "Do you think we can sneak away?" She placed the popcorn on the counter. She wrapped her arms around Tom's waist.

Tom glanced at his children and saw that they were sitting on the couch. They must have agreed on a movie. "Maybe," Tom grabbed the drinks while B'Elanna grabbed the popcorn.

Tom sat next to Xavier while B'Elanna sat next to Selena. "So what movie are we watching?"

Xavier told them as he reached for his drink on the coffee table. Tom settled back and grabbed a handful of popcorn before starting the movie. He glanced over his children towards his wife. He saw that Selena was leaning into her mom. B'Elanna must have felt his eyes on her because she turned and smiled at him. Tom smiled back and knew this is why they had children. Tom had a feeling that they weren't going to sneak away.
