Chapter 1

Who was Ye Qiu? Well, he was the mysterious Battle God of Glory, the best player and also the most reserved. He had been in the Pro scene since the first season, but had always remained discreet and private. Despite being an exceptional player, he generated no income, as he never accepted promotions or advertising. He was like a gold mine that couldn't be mined or exploited. For Excellent Era, his team, he was a money pit.

They wanted to get rid of him, but this was no easy task. Ye Xiu wasn't willing to lie down on the ground and let them walk all over him. And even if he had been willing, Su Mucheng wasn't. That girl would set fire to the entire Excellent Era before allowing something like that.

Excellent Era knew he didn't have the money to pay for contract cancellation. They also knew he wouldn't accept staying and being a mere training partner for Sun Xiang, so they wanted to force him to retire. But they never thought that the discreet captain would actually turn everything upside down. When Excellent Era tried to force him to sign his retirement, Su Mucheng raised hell.

"Over my dead body," swore the beautiful girl, snatching the folder from Ye Xiu's hand and tearing the papers firmly before Ye Xiu could have any funny and stupid idea like signing.

"We don't want to make it difficult," said Cui Li with a smile that Su Mucheng wanted to wipe off with a punch to his face. "You are always welcome to stay as Sun Xiang's training partner, your knowledge will be appreciated," the manager said mockingly.

"Don't make me laugh," spat Su Mucheng furiously, not letting Ye Xiu open his mouth. "His knowledge is worth MILLIONS, he won't give it away as easily as he gave you so many years of his superior talents for a meager salary. We cancel the contract and that's it. Tomorrow the teams will fight over him, even if they have to create a new account for him from scratch," she assured them.

"The penalty for canceling the contract is not low," Cui Li reminded her. "Can you pay it?" he asked mockingly of the champion, knowing that he had spent all his money helping reintegrate a bunch of professional players who failed at the beginning of their professional scene in Glory.

"You know he doesn't have it, but I do," interrupted Su Mucheng with a killer smile. "I'll pay it."

Su Mucheng didn't even let Ye Xiu finish formulating what he was going to say; she grabbed him by the hand and dragged him out with surprising force for someone who looked so gentle.

"My lawyer will call you," she assured before leaving with a theatrical slam, dragging Ye Xiu by the hand as she walked furiously.

"Don't you dare," she shouted at him, her eyes filled with tears of pure rage. "If you refuse to fight, you'll leave me fighting alone, because believe me, I will fight. I could never look my brother in the face if I allow them to do this to you," she swore. And at that moment, that girl reminded Ye Xiu so much of Su Muqiu that his heart shook.

"I'll fight then," he promised, never in this life would he leave Su Muqiu's little sister alone. The same girl he picked up after his unfair and early death.

Excellent Era hadn't seen this unexpected twist coming, and neither could they allow it. Even when that same night Su Mucheng contacted her lawyers, Excellent Era struck first. Early in the morning, they held a press conference revealing one of the biggest secrets in the E-Sports world in the last 10 years.

Excellent Era announced to the world that they had decided to sever ties with Ye Qiu with all the pain in the world because they had learned that for the past 8 years, Ye Qiu had lied to them and everyone else by hiding that he was actually an Omega.

The news was a scandal; Excellent Era did it so that the league would penalize Ye Qiu. Su Mucheng almost coughed up blood from rage. The idea of hiding that Ye Qiu was an omega came from Tao Xuan himself. 8 years ago, an omega alone in the professional league would have been unthinkable. An omega being the captain of a team even more unthinkable. And leading his team to the championship three times in a row... no, that was not possible. So, in order to be able to take care of Su Mucheng and be able to play, Ye Xiu had accepted to keep his own gender secret.

Glory had changed; some really talented omegas had made their way into the professional scene in recent years. But from there to one of them being captain and leading their team, that had not been seen yet.

"They're lying," Su Mucheng was very willing to set fire to the entire Excellent Era building.

"And how do we prove it? It's our word against theirs. It's true that I am an omega. They attacked first, if we try to tell the truth now, who would believe us?" Ye Xiu said with logic.

"I'll think of something... or I'll burn that place down," said the lovely girl firmly. She would think of something and make them regret ever being born. Nothing was worse in this world than an angry woman, and Excellent Era would soon realize that. They should never have messed with Su Mucheng and the people she loved.

-o-o-o-

Excelente Era and Ye Qiu's fans were in shock; some felt betrayed, others looked for excuses for their God, and a few remained neutral, waiting for their God's explanation.

Omegas gradually made their way into the League. Big teams like Tyranny, Tiny Herb, Samsara, and Blue Rain openly supported the inclusion of omegas in E-sports like Glory. Even Tiny Herb was training the young Omega rookie Gao Yingjie, a boy with impressive talent who was set to be Vaccaria's successor and future team captain one day.

Ye Xiu hadn't wanted this to happen and spiral out of control to these extremes, but Su Mucheng was unstoppable. And a part of him felt proud of that little girl now woman who had been raised by his Muqiu and himself.

Of course, maybe he should have paid more attention, because even though he knew that Gloria's number one launcher had contacted her lawyers, he didn't expect that just two days later, when he woke up in his old room, he would see her on TV holding a press conference. Ye Xiu and Su Mucheng had returned to the old, small apartment where they once lived with Su Muqiu when they couldn't afford more. Even though their lives had changed, they had always refused to get rid of this little apartment where the three of them had once been a happy family for a short time. But now, on the old TV in the living room, he was watching the little Mumu simply turn the world upside down.

"Well, hello everyone," began the beautiful Gloria Launcher with a sweet smile. "The league has been quite stirred up lately, huh?" she joked, understating it; the league had been VERY stirred up, and "quite" wasn't enough to describe it. "Well, that's exactly what I've come to talk about. Everyone knows I'm close to Ye Qiu, so I won't hide anything," she said firmly. "I've come here to tell the truth."

"Did you know that Ye Qiu was an omega?" she asked the first question straight to the point.

"Yes," she also responded directly. "I know some are upset about this secret, so I apologize," she said, standing up from her seat and bowing firmly to the cameras. Not many could bear to see this beautiful Goddess apologize like that.

"It's not your fault. The one who should apologize is him," protested the same reporter.

"You're wrong about that," she said, sitting back upright. "Believe me, he would apologize for me and accept every blame silently for my sake. But I'm not a child anymore. This time, I'll be the one to protect him. And I'll protect him with the most powerful weapon there is... The truth. So, be quiet and listen," she ordered, looking straight at the cameras.

"When I met Ye Qiu, I was just an orphaned and alone little girl who had no one else but her older brother, an Alpha who was also just little more than a child, barely older than me. My brother raised me alone and worked hard to do it. He dropped out of school and dedicated himself to games to make a living; he was very good at it.

"As you can imagine, that didn't leave much, but enough for a roof and food on our table. That's how he met Ye Qiu. My brother was 15 and Ye Qiu was 14. My brother was defeated by this little omega runaway and homeless. My brother couldn't bear to leave him to his fate; we barely had enough for ourselves, but he brought Ye Qiu home, and it was the best thing he ever did. We were happy; we were a family. For once, I felt like I had a home; my brother and Ye Xiu gave me that. I was sure we would be happy forever.

"Ye Xiu and Su Muqiu were the best players that could exist; that's how we made a living, or rather, they made a living and took care of me. They started playing Glory on the same day the game came out. They were very good. One Autumn Leaf and Autumn Tree, their names were known throughout the first server, the king artilleryman and the battle god.

"With Ye Qiu in our lives, our lives improved; we still didn't have much, but we were happy. Ye Qiu was 15 and my brother was 16 when they promised to spend their lives together. Two years later, Gloria's professional scene began to emerge. Excellent Era, a completely new club like everyone else at that time, obviously set their sights on these two amazing players. My brother and Ye Qiu. They were offered a contract as professional players. A contract for Alpha Su Muqiu and HIS omega YE XIU. Here I have the first contract signed by Excellent Era, my brother, and Ye Qiu using his true name and true identification as Omega, Ye Xiu. Which proves that Excellent Era lies when they say they didn't know he was an omega," she said, showing the old contract. Her brother might be dead now, but among his things, the things they both always refused to throw away, were all the evidence Su Mucheng needed, like the old original contracts that had been signed between her brother, Ye Qiu, and Excellent Era.

"But before my brother and Ye Qiu could stand together in Gloria's professional scene, my brother lost his life in a car accident. He was hit and so he could never fulfill his promise to take care of his omega and left me alone. This also made this contract invalid. I was scared back then, I won't deny it; I was still very young, little more than a 14-year-old girl incapable of taking care of myself.

"But Ye Qiu stepped into my brother's boots and, even without any obligation towards me, he took me under his wing and decided to take care of me, protect me, and finish raising me, even when he was too young for all the crap we went through back then too. My brother was the one who had originally been thought to be the team captain. 8 years ago, E-sports weren't as open to women or omegas. Especially the latter, a woman if she was alpha or beta at least would be tolerated, but years ago in E-sports, only tolerated omegas who played alongside their alphas and in fact had the attitude that the alpha was the one 'carrying' the omega.

"Without my brother here, Excellent Era didn't want to lose Ye Xiu's talent, but they also couldn't have an Omega as the team captain. He is the best and everyone knows it; he gave 3 championships to Excellent Era to prove it. One Autumn Leaf became a God-level account due to his talent. That's when they convinced him to sign a contract as a Beta and for my sake, he accepted.

The bomb had been dropped; journalists exploded with questions. Su Mucheng only answered one.

"Evidence? Well, here's the original contract where he was listed as an omega with his real name and as a playing partner of my brother. Here's the second one where he signed omitting his omega status, with a fake Beta ID. But the most powerful proof is this," she said, taking out another paper from a briefcase. "A real fact: omegas have two heats a year unless they're pregnant. In the league, there aren't many omegas, but we can use as an example Tiny Herb's star rookie, the little and talented Omega Gao Yingjie. We all know that Tiny Herb has one of the best doctors specialized in omegas, who times his heats and has high-quality suppressors ready in case, during an important game they can't do without him, his heat hits. A case that hasn't happened yet, but is a possibility. Therefore, contingency plans are there. Well, I can assure you that in Ye Xiu's case, it has happened. He played the final of the third season in the middle of his heat using suppressors. Excellent Era always took care of paying for and buying high-quality suppressors for him, and I have proof," she said as she handed the papers to the alliance. It was good that the doctor had been so willing to help them and gave them the receipts, just for her pretty face and fake tears.

"Facing my brother's death, Excellent Era took advantage of Gloria's most talented player just because he was an Omega, desperate to lift up the little sister of a young alpha that life took away too soon and cruelly. They took advantage of his desperation, need, and loneliness, paying a lower contract even than mid-level teams. But for me and for the love of Gloria, he endured and persisted. But it's not 8 years ago when E-Sports didn't want omegas in their lines. I'm not a child who needs to be cared for and protected anymore. Once he gave everything for me, for Gloria, and for my brother. But now I'm a woman, and I'll defend with nails and teeth the omega who raised me and whom my brother loved until his last breath," with that said, the beautiful Su Mucheng stood up and left without looking back or saying anything else.

Reporters were exploding; this was the biggest scandal ever seen in the E-sports world.

Excellent Era was furious; they knew Ye Qiu, they knew he was a person who wouldn't make a scandal. They hadn't counted on Su Mucheng and her waging war on them like this. They hadn't counted that those old contracts still existed somewhere or that she would get so much evidence.

The alliance itself was in chaos, and the different professional teams weren't any better.

Ye Xiu himself, in the living room of his small apartment, was in shock; he never expected such a move from Su Mucheng.

-o-o-o-

The tides had turned; fans who were upset by their "God's" "lie" now wanted to tear down Excellent Era. Omegas wept for the harsh life of their God Ye and his losses from such a young age. Life had been so unfair to God Ye; he lost his alpha, had to raise Su Mucheng alone, and an evil team took advantage of him and his talent. Betas were ready to carry torches to burn Excellent Era if allowed. And there wasn't a single alpha who wasn't willing to break things for "their Omega God." That's what they had started calling him. Gloria's absolute God was an Omega and no one cared. Even Tyranny's fans, Excellent Era's eternal rival and "God Ye Qiu," felt torn by this tragic and oppressed Omega God, and almost begged for their team to save him and bring Omega God Ye Qiu alongside their own Alpha God Han Wenqing. Tyranny could protect him, they claimed. If even Tyranny, Ye Qiu's eternal enemy, wanted to save that same Ye Qiu, you could tell whose side the opinions were on now.

Of course, fans of other teams wouldn't be left behind. Tiny Herb's fans jumped, claiming that they were the best team for the Omega God because they had shown it with the future successor of Vaccaria, who was an omega. Tiny Herb was a safe place for omegas, and they respected and adored him.

Blue Rain's fans didn't lag behind; they couldn't allow Tiny Herb to take God Ye. They claimed he should come to Blue Rain, that the safest place was with the witch genius and the saint of the sword (and king of trash talk).

And so the others joined the commotion. Samsara's fans and all the others. Even Misty Rain, whose captain was an Alpha woman, claimed that they were the most open-minded and valued talent over biology. As expected with so much fanfare, the press sought official statements from the clubs.

"Gloria is about talent, woman, man, Alpha, Beta, Omega, that doesn't matter. What matters is talent. Excellent Era had one of the best talents ever seen in all of Gloria, and that they dared to believe they could treat him like this just because he was an omega is a total disgrace," was the resounding statement from Tyranny's always direct captain when asked. And for once, his vice-captain didn't try to soften the statement; he agreed with the other.

"When you think someone's gender is more important than their talent, it's your loss, not the other party's," Tiny Herb's captain said seriously.

"No one who respects themselves should ever treat another human being like this. Especially not the person who gave you so many triumphs and created a dynasty for you," Blue Rain's captain stated when questioned, preventing his vice-captain from speaking or he would never finish.

"Very ugly. Excellent Era was bad, with senior," sadly denied Samsara's captain, and considering how hard it was to get anything out of him, to give so much was shocking.

-o-o-o-

Ye Xiu was about to log in with Lord Grim on the new Glory server when he heard Su Mucheng laughing like a fairy tale villain. So, restless, he got up to see what was going on.

"What are you laughing at?" he asked suspiciously.

"Here," she pointed out different emails in her inbox on the computer screen. "Most of the alliance teams offered their lawyers to help in this case. Most of them are offering to pay the cancellation of your contract with Excellent Era and offering you juicy contracts and benefits if you join them," she said satisfied. "Go play with Lord Grim, let me take care of everything and decide which one is the best. Leave everything in my hands," she smiled excitedly.

Ye Xiu had a bad feeling, but wanting to avoid a headache, he went to play Glory. Glory was easier to understand than his little sister.

Soon the days began to pass, and while Su Mucheng took care of the legal matters, Lord Grim, Ye Xiu's character on the new server, which was by the way an old character created by Su Muqiu, became a nightmare for the big guilds. With his little band of misfits. First, there was Tang Rou; this girl had tried to help a friend win a PK against him, obviously she couldn't. After more than 10 defeats, Soft Mist, a battle mage, was created, and she joined him. Then came the chaotic Steamed Bun Invasion, also called Bao Rongxing, a troublemaker just like his owner. The man was total chaos, great instincts, capable of the greatest wonders and the stupidest mistakes too. Su Mucheng also joined them whenever she could with an alternate account.

While the Pro League conducted its investigation, Lord Grim continued to torment the big guilds on the 10th server. The group of misfits kept growing. The smart Luo Ji joined, and the timid and kind Qiao Yifan, who had met Ye Qiu the previous season and didn't hesitate to join him in his crusade on the 10th server, after all, since Tiny Herb kicked him out at the end of season 7, he had a lot of time on his hands.

"God Ye?"

"Hmmm..."

"Is it true? Are you an omega?" Yifan gathered courage to ask. He had obviously seen all the news, but he would only believe it from his God's own mouth. When he thought it was all over for him after the Season 7 All-Star, when Yang Cong gave him the most embarrassing beating ever seen in a Rookie Challenge, God Ye had given him a way to continue in Glory, even if he couldn't continue in Tiny Herb. He would believe God Ye, no matter what.

"Yes, I am," Ye Xiu replied casually.

"Was it hard?" the other asked uncomfortably. Ye Xiu understood the unspoken question behind the words. Was it hard to be different in the league?

"It wasn't ideal, but I never cared. I wanted to do what I liked, and that's what I did," he shrugged in front of his computer, moving Lord Grim with ease.

"I'm an Alpha O," he confessed before he could contain himself or lose his courage. Ye Xiu stopped killing monsters for a moment. Alpha O. A rare genetic disorder. A person born with the biology of an alpha and the instincts of an omega.

"I thought Tiny Herb was an inclusive team," he commented without really knowing what to say.

"They are," Yifan assured. "My problems and leaving the team had nothing to do with my biology, but with my lack of talent as an assassin. But still, I never felt like I fit in; my different biology and lack of talent never made it easy for me."

"Don't talk like that about yourself, you have plenty of talent, just not as an assassin," Ye Xiu scolded. "You're one of the best Ghostblades I've seen," he said, and he didn't give compliments lightly.

"I'm an Omega A," Tang Rou interrupted, reminding them that she was still there with Soft Mist. An Omega A. Almost as rare as an Alpha O. An Omega A was the opposite. An omega born with all the instincts of an alpha. "Do what I always do, little Qiao, if anyone has a problem with what you are, punch them, that way they lose interest in commenting on your life," she assured.

"What's up?" suddenly Steamed Bun Invasion spoke out loud, as lost as ever. "Are we saying our gender? I'm Omega!" he shouted unashamedly, as happy as always. Everyone almost choked. Bao Rongxing was an omega? The troublemaker of the group was an omega? "And you, Luo Ji?" Steamed Bun Invasion asked without any tact or consideration; the boy had never understood why that should be a thorny issue.

"Omega," Luo Ji whispered, if everyone had already said it, he saw no problem in saying it too. Suddenly Ye Xiu laughed.

"We're a group of misfits," he laughed amused, and the others agreed, laughing, which released the tension.

"We should meet up one day," Steamed Bun Invasion commented, putting the idea in everyone's head.

-o-o-o-

-Su Mucheng, what if I wanted to start a team instead of joining another one? - he asked out of nowhere that night while having dinner. The girl put down the glass she was bringing to her mouth halfway. A little shocked, but she recovered quickly. They didn't have the money to enter directly, but with her skills, there was a possibility.

-Well, we could enter through the Challenger League - she quickly said. It was a risk, but it wasn't impossible, not with her and Ye Xiu on the same team. -We just need the Alliance to allow us to play before the registrations close for this challenge league, and we could be back on the professional stage as soon as season 9. But we would have to hurry a lot with Lord Grim, Soft Mist, Steamed Bun Invasion, and One Inch Ash - she said, guessing who the rest of the team would be. -Even my Cleansing Mist. And we need to find a Cleric to have enough, at least. We're talking about playing until exhaustion, leveling up your umbrella and entering the league with mostly orange weapons, except for your umbrella - she reminded him of the difficulties.

Ye Xiu smiled. -It sounds fun, - he nodded. Su Mucheng nodded and smiled too.

-So let's do it.

The crazy race began almost immediately. It only took them a few days to surpass the elite players of the guilds and reach level 50 to start the challenge for the Heavenly Domain. In their crazy race, they left no boss unrobbed, no dungeon unmarked with their name, and no record standing. They were a total nightmare.

And then they reached the Heavenly Domain and met an old acquaintance of Ye Xiu, the old Wei Chen, shameless and brazen. He tried to kill them, Ye Xiu crushed him and stole his silver weapon. He wasn't surprised when Wei Chen went straight to QQ to shout at him demanding the return of his silver weapon.

"I'll give it to you," he wrote magnanimously. "If you help me form my own team," he said, more than willing to take advantage of the old Blue Rain creator.

"What?"

"Come on, it's obvious you haven't stopped playing Glory, just look at this weapon. So help me create my own team."

"I'm almost 30," he reminded the other.

"And?" Ye Xiu didn't care; they were a little short-handed.

"I have a son," he finally said, getting to the point.

"Leave him with his mother," he said, a little amazed that the shameless old Wei had gotten married.

"I am his mother," he said proudly and ready to fight. Ye Xiu was bewildered. His brain did the calculations.

"Wait, if you had him... then, are you an omega?" he almost shouted.

"Any problem?"

"But how... how did you manage to play in the first generation?"

"Just like you, only mine were of worse quality."

He was referring to the suppressors Ye Xiu understood immediately. If he got them illegally, they were very likely not of the best quality.

"How much worse?"

"Let's say that trembling hands were one of the least bad symptoms."

"Are you still messed up?"

"What do you think? I have a son, idiot!"

Everyone knew that an omega's pregnant body had recovery capabilities beyond what simple science could understand.

"Why didn't you come back afterwards? 30 years are nothing for an omega or an alpha, your APM capabilities should have easily kept up with a 22 or 24-year-old beta."

"What part of 'I have a son' didn't you get? Do you want me to play, for example, the team competition with a baby stuck to my chest feeding?" he asked ironically.

"How old is he?" he asked, imagining a baby still in arms.

"A year and a half," he said proudly. A year and a half, he had him long after leaving the league, but the child was already old enough for Wei Chen to be able to play. Right?

"Bring him," Ye Xiu told him directly.

-o-o-o-

Three weeks later, still driven by impulse, this improvised group: Tang Rou, Bao Rongxing, Qiao Yifan, Wei Chen with his little one at his hip, Luo Ji, Su Mucheng, and Ye Xiu, found themselves in the small apartment of the latter two.

"Damn, we're probably going to be the poorest team in the entire alliance," complained Wei Chen with his son on his hip, looking around the two-room apartment where they were packed like sardines.

"We're entering through the Challenger League. What did you expect? Canceling our contracts swallowed up all our capital, which was never much," Ye Xiu mocked the older omega's complaints.

"This brings back memories of the early days of Blue Rain. We were disgustingly poor," he told the others.

"Do you really think we can win?" asked Luo Ji, almost trembling. "Mathematical odds say that..."

"We will win," Su Mucheng, Ye Xiu, and Wei Chen interrupted him at the same time.

"I didn't return to the league just to see someone else take the championship cup again," the older omega assured them. "If I came back at this age and with a child on my hip, it's to win the damn championship," he warned everyone, especially Ye Xiu.

"Of course, we will win. Do you think it will be any other way?" asked Ye Xiu amused. "This championship has our name on it."

"Uhmm, Boss..." called out the energetic blond troublemaker of the team. "What's our team name?" he asked curiously.

Maybe they should come up with a team name first, they all realized with Bao's question.

"I say we should call ourselves Revolution," Tang Rou spoke up. "After all, a team with an omega captain," she pointed to Ye Xiu, "an alpha O," she pointed to Yifan, "a foul-mouthed, older omega with a child," she pointed to Wei Chen, "a smart omega with a high IQ," that was definitely Luo Ji, "a brave and idiotic omega," that was Steamed Bun, "a dominant beta," Su Mucheng waved cheerfully when her turn came, "and an Omega A," she pointed to herself, "is an atypical team that's here to kick ass and revolutionize the league and all of Glory," she asserted.

"It's a good name," Su Mucheng agreed, and the others did too. Qiao Yifan looked at his new team and his new place, completely different from Tiny Herb, but it felt right, he felt like he belonged here, only lamenting that his place was not next to Yingjie.

-o-o-o-

A couple of days later, already at maximum level in record time, they realized they still had the same problem: they needed a Healer! And none of them wanted to change roles and become the team's healer. So, they all infiltrated the different guilds in the game in search of finding and stealing a good healer in plain sight. Ye Xiu was the one who found the perfect one in Tyranny. Thus, An Wenyi and his Cleric Little Cold Hand joined them. An Wenyi was unsure about this very poor team, but he was tempted. He too was a different omega, an omega with a horrible temper.

The last victim they hunted in the Celestial Domain and joined them was Mo Fang. Mo Fang, a Ninja, Deception, a scrap collector in the Celestial Domain. They harassed and killed him until he decided to see them, maybe to PK them in real life, but instead he stayed with them and didn't leave.

Shortly after, the alliance's resolution came out, in favor of Ye Xiu. He was allowed to continue playing and was released from any responsibility with Excellent Era. Excellent Era had to pay him compensation that they used to rent a larger house (enough for two to sleep in each room and not like sausages in a can) and enough computers for everyone, as well as the necessary equipment to play. The house had two floors: upstairs were the 5 bedrooms they used for sleeping, and downstairs the kitchen, living room, and practice area with 12 computers.

With this and the freedom finally given by the alliance, Revolution rushed to sign up for the 8th Challenger League just in time to enter the tournament, two days before the Challenger League registrations ended. But they were still a very poor team. So Mucheng had a "brilliant" idea.

Glossary for this chapter:

*Carry,- it's a term used when a stronger player helps a weaker companion level up/Ranking.
Sorry if this first part is a bit fast-paced; I wanted to get to the real point where the story begins, so this was necessary XD

Very important: although the story is a divergent canon from the book and I use many things from the book, the personalities and even the physical appearance of the characters are more based on those from the Live Action of The King's Avatar than on the book's. What I did take completely from the book/Donghua are the avatars because I didn't like the ones from the Live Action XD

If you have any questions about something you don't understand in this alternate universe, feel free to ask ^^

I hope I didn't do too badly with the translation, this chapter was long so it was tough to translate.
