Zondra and Celine were at their safe house. This was one of the quiet days. Their new agent inside Vulkoff made contact with them two hours ago. Apparantely Vulkoff was dealing with a bit of internal problem. A group named Fulcrum has diveded themselves from their mother organization named The Ring. Zondra had heard about The Ring before, they were a terrorist group bent on overthrowing the gouverment. Last time she heard about the Ring, the group was small and didn't posed a direct threat. The only CIA agent invested in stoping the Ring was Special Agent Daniel Shaw. Shaw always considered that The Ring was bigger than what CIA thought it was. And now Zondra had proof of that. If a splinter group has form itself from The Ring, and both The Ring and Fulcrum dealt with Vulkoff the threat was bigger and scarier than everyone initially thought. There was also the matter of Frost. Acording to their new agent inside Vulkoff, Frost was Vulkoff's right hand. A killer, who executed everyone Vulkoff wanted dead. The information was sent to Langley. Zondra was sad to leave the operation, while she didn't liked being in Russia, she did liked the progress she was making aganinst Vulkoff.
A knock was heard from outside. Celine and Zondra took their guns, but the man who entered was a friendly so they left their guard down.
"Cross, what are doing here?" asked Zondra
Adrian Cross took from his pocket a red envelope.
"New order from Langley. Zondra Rizzo you are to report imeadiately to Facility X. The details are inside." said the Adrian as he gave Zondra the envelope. "Pack everything, you have a plane waiting at a small private airport 5 miles away. Until your replacement comes I will be here with Agent Pryer." he continued.
Zondra followed the orders she got. As she said her goodbyes, she left for the airport. She was still wondering what was going on
LA, Maison23
Sarah and Chuck met in Sarah's room. There were 4 more days until Casey's arrival. Chuck was using his old Piranha laptop to access the hard drive that contained the gouverment Intersect. Chuck decided to modify the code, adding a way for him overwrite the data if the gouverment didn't kept their part of the deal.
"Done." said Chuck
"So how exactly it would work?" asked Sarah
"I added a new code in the program that will be uploaded alongside the data. It will interact with my Intersect. If I hear a specific combination of words, the program will trigger and my Intersect will delete every file from the gouverment's Intersect." said Chuck
"Can I know the code?" asked Sarah
"I will give you the code, but I want you to promise me that you won't use it unless it's 100% necessary. And by that I mean only if the gouverment breaks the deal you made with them. I know you well enough to know that your overprotective of me. And I don't want you to be in trouble for leaving the gouverment Intersect-less." said Chuck
"I can't promise you that, Chuck. And I don't want to lie to you either. I can risk losing you, I love you." said Sarah as she sit next to Chuck and embranced him.
"I love you too." said Chuck
Facility X
Alicia and Beckman were meeting with Casey and Graham.
"Me and Director Graham have decided on how the covers will work." said Casey
"Let's hear the plan then." said Alicia
"Well, Agent Walker already has an history with Mr. Bartowski, so she doesn't need a cover per say. She is Bartowski's girlfriend. She however requires a cover job. From what she told me, Bartowski's family already knows she went to Harvard and what her previous cover job was." said Graham
"So an office job that demands less working hours." said Casey
"DEA ran a sting operation in LA last hear. The team for that operation used an abandoned office. It's pretty close of the Buy More store where Chuck Bartowski works." said Alicia
"I can have some NSA contractors I trust renovate the place." said Beckman
"I decided that the best cover for me will be to work inside the Buy More and provide security for Bartowski and when Miller arrives we can use a yogurt shop next to the Buy More as a cover job for her." said Casey
"I do however have some concerns about the security of the Buy More. Even with Casey there we can't always be 100% sure of the security of the asset being perfect." said Graham
"Do you think we can buy the Buy More?" asked Beckman
"I think that's extreame measures, General. I may have an idea however." said Casey
"What idea, Major?" asked Alicia
"Well part of the deal for Bartowski taking the Intersect is to give him his degree, right? After he gets his degree we can have him 'establish' his own company. Walker having a double major in Buisness and Linguistics could say he helps Chuck with his company. I can get hired as security and Miller as a secretary. It's less expensive, and hass lesser risks." said Casey
"It's something to keep in mind. But for now I am more happy with the first plan. Yes the plan has more risks, but also it's harder for Fulcrum to identify our operation." said Beckman
"What about the security at home?" asked Alicia
"We think the best idea is to have Agent Walker moving with him, she clearly won't object." said Graham
"I do have something I want to talk about through. Bartowski's sister." said Casey
"Eleanor Faye Bartowski?" asked Alicia
"Yes, she is a security risk. Acording to both Walker and Bartowski she is pretty good at getting answers. She may notice the changes in her brother's life. We may need to give Bartowski's degree a bit later. In that way we may prevent questions about the changes in his life happening at an alarming rate." said Beckman
"Fair to say that for now Agent Walker will have a cover job that give her both ability to operate in missions and also something that suits her Harvard degree. Major Casey will work at the Buy More and move near Bartowski. Once Agent Miller will show up we will reevaluate their cover stories." said Graham
"Permission to speak?" asked Casey
"Permission granted. What do you think, Major?" asked Alicia
"For now we can keep the sister in the dark, but I think it would be a good idea to read her in as well. Having someone with medical experience may be useful." said Casey
"I don't think that's a good idea" said Graham.
"I don't think it's a bad idea. Alicia?" asked Beckman
"I agree. But, before we decide to read the sister in, I think we should focus on how the team works." said Alicia
"Fine!" said Graham.
Graham left the room. It was clear that this wasn't going as it hope it would. He hoped to convince Agent Walker remain a spy for the CIA, remain his right hand, his assassin, but that didn't worked. As for Bartowski, he saw him as a way to convince Walker to return to work and also as way to get a functional Intersect. That didn't worked. Graham had barely any control on this operation, which wasn't surprising, Beckman wasn't his biggest fan, between Project Omaha and Project January, Graham lost his good graces with Diane Beckman. The Director of the NSA, while she was known as ruthless and a force to be reckon with, she was also someone who respected laws to the teeth. Diane Beckman had a strong morale compass and she considered Omaha and January something that shouldn't have got past the approval process. Alicia Levy while still a close friend of Graham, she was also someone who thought that Graham's methods were outdated and far to extreme. It was a luck for him to still remain informed with the Intersect Project. He expected that after the results Omaha gave, he will get sidelined from the Project and maybe even force to retire. But he still had a silver linning, a hope that came in form of Zondra Rizzo and Bryce Larkin. If Graham played things right he will not only get control of The Intersect Project, but also get a functional Intersect in the form of Chuck Bartowski and his best agent, Sarah Walker, back.
LA
In LA, Chuck and Sarah were on a date. Sarah was quiet and Chuck noticed. The place was also quiet and no other people around them, making things akward.
"You know, we are supposed to use our dates to enjoy ourselves, right? I mean once, you know who, will come into town it's possible we won't get to have so many dates." said Chuck
Sarah looked at him. She needed to be honest with him. "Chuck I will be honest. I love you, and I never expected that someone like you could love back, especially if he knows what I do for living, what I am… The thought I will lose you scares me. Once you learned I was CIA I thought you would break-up with me. Once you learned about me being an assassin I thought I will lose you. And you still find a way to look past that, but then you didn't had all the facts, and if upload the Intersect from the gouverment… You will know everything, and I fear that will be too much for you. That you will finally realize I don't deserve you, that you will leave me." said Sarah
"I won't. I admit, the things I know about you scare me a little. And I am not happy with the thought you killed people and you will most likely continue killing people. But it won't make me think less of you. Oh, and the flashes don't work like that. Not the info flashes at least. I will need a trigger so I could access information from the Intersect. And I made sure when I coded the program to remove the Gouverment Intersect data, to also include a code that will make it nearly impossible for me to flash on you. If give codenames or something from your old missions I will flash, but the simple fact I see you won't trigger the flashes. It's up to you what I get to know about you." said Chuck smiling
Sarah didn't know what to say. She just kissed him.
Facility X
Beckman and Alicia were in a private conference room talking.
"I don't like Graham being involved. I don't like that the CIA will have their agent closer to the asset then our agents." said Beckman
"While I do agree with the fact that Graham's involment should've been limited after Project Omaha and Project January, I have to say from the conversation I had with agent Walker, I think she will be more loyal to the asset than Graham. I mean she did asked that the 49B rule won't apply to them." said Alicia
"Yes that's true." frowned Beckman.
"The Major will be in LA in 4 days. Agent Miller will have to deal with her mission for a few weeks. I have some questions on how we are going to put this team in action. We are speaking about a two of the best killers the gouverment has, a seductress and a civilian, a civilian who will have all of our secrets in his head. I think that before we are sending them against Fulcrum we should give them small missions, something local, to see how they are working together." said Alicia
"I concur, but I have other concerns." said Beckman
"Graham?" asked Alicia
"I think we should be careful around him. He may try to take over the entire operation." said Beckman
"Well it's a good thing I stoped trusting him after Project January. It's hard to belive he could something like that." said Alicia
Langley
Graham was in his office. He was surprised to have two people coming to talk to him, one was Zondra Rizzo, which he called back to Langley, while the other agent was a surprise, Nicholas Quinn. Quinn was one of the most intelligent and ruthless agents he had.
Quinn entered Graham's office.
"Agent Quinn this visit is unexpected." said Graham
"Is it true? Agent Larkin destroyed the Intersect from Facility X?" asked Quinn.
"Yes. I don't know how you found out about that, but yes The Intersect from Facility X was destroyed and agent Larkin has been killed by a NSA agent. How did you find out?" said Graham
"One of the security guards from Facility X. Sir, now that the Intersect from Facility X is destroyed, me and agent Decker want the permission to reactivate Project January." said Quinn
Graham took a second to think. He couldn't tell Quinn about Bartowski, Quinn was obsessed with the Intersect. The idea of a civilian becoming the only Intersect would make him go crazy. Project January had extremly bad results, reactivating the project would put him in a bad light, not mention that it may ruin any chance to get Walker back and have Bartowski under his thumb. Still, January had a lot of promising results before it got canceled. It was a game of choice. Getting control of Chuck Bartowski and having Sarah Walker back was hard and it wasn't a guarantee. Project January wasn't a guarantee either, but had a lot of promising results and it was under the full control of the CIA. It was a choice between the Intersect and Project January. Both were offering the promise of super-spies. If Graham took control of the Intersect Project he could make Bartowski into a spy. Creating ruthless spies was his speciality, but it was a long shot. And he restarted work at Project January, Beckman and Levy will surely kick him off from the Intersect Project.
"For now I don't want to reactivate January, it would give the idea that I sent Larkin to destroy the Intersect so I can restart the january Project. However I would keep eyes for potential candidates…" said Graham. He wasn't going to make a decision just yet. He wanted to see how the thingss went with Bartowski first.
"Understood, sir." said Quinn.
After Quinn left his office, he started to think about Project January.
2001, CIA Secret Facility.
"Agent Decker, I hope you have a good reason for calling me here." said Graham
"Well after the failure with the Agent X program, Orion has dissapeared. Without him it's impossible to make the Intersect working." said Decker
"I am very aware of that. My predecessor gave me a lot of problems to deal with. One good thing is that the NSA and DEA don't know about the Agent X program and the real reason for Orion dissapearence." said Graham
"I agree. Still the Intersect technology could still be used." said Decker
"In what way?" asked Graham
"Repressing memories." said Decker
"How could that help us?" asked Graham
"Well I imagine we could use it to remove the memories of enemy spies, remove their training so they can't fight back or resist interogation, I also think that combining what information we have about the Agent X program we can also condition our own agents so they never disobey orders." said Decker
"Maybe even we can use this technology to turn enemy agents and make them work for us." said Graham thinking. "I will fund the project, but be careful, if the NSA or DEA learn about this project or the Agent X program they will take all the reasearch for the Intersect Project, and probably never use it. I want deniability in case this Project goes wrong. Do you agree?" continued Graham
"Yes, it won't be a problem but I will need a research team and the help of Agent Quinn." said Decker
Present day - 2 days until the upload
Chuck and Sarah were spending the day trying to find an apartment for Sarah. She didn't liked the idea of staying in a hotel. And also she wanted to see if she could find an apartment, for both her and Chuck, even if her boyfriend was under the impression the apartment hunt was only for her.
"You are woman hard to please, Sarah." said Chuck after Sarah disliked the 10th apartment they looked at.
"I know and I am sorry Iam dragging you with me." said Sarah. "Truth be told I never stood in the same place for a long time. I never had a place to call home. And… I feel like nothing is perfect. Even my apartment in DC never felt like a home." said Sarah
"You know you won't find a home if you don't try to see the place like a home." said Chuck
Sarah looked at him.
"If you don't give a place a chance, you won't see at a home. Here's an idea, I know that an apartment in Echo Park is for sale. You may want to look at it. It's cheap, spacious and you will have a lot of privacy, and you can decorate the place as you want as long as you don't break the walls." said Chuck. "And Sarah this is the last place I have on the list of free apartments I found in the short notice."
"Thanks Chuck." she said. "But maybe we continue another day. For now I want to sleep, with you." she continued
"Sarah…" started Chuck
"Don't. Everytime I want for us to sleep together you find an excuse. What's the problem? It's because of my job?" asked Sarah. She spent her entire week trying to convinc herself that Chuck loved her, but everytime she offered for the two to have sex, Chuck refused her. She was thinking that it was because of her job, but Chuck said he wasn't bothered by it. Was he lying to her?
"Sarah, no, it's not that. I love you. It's just… The problem is not you, it's me. I didn't had sex in 3 years." said Chuck
"And what? You think you won't meet my standards?" asked Sarah smiling
"Yeah kinda." said Chuck
"Chuck you are amazing. Everything about you is amazing. You are smart, funny, extremely good looking, a good kisser, a good boyfriend and I love you. I don't think you will be anything but amazing in bed." said Sarah trying to reassure him
"It's easy for you to say" responded Chuck.
"Ok I will make you a deal? I will wait as long as you need, but I won't make it easy for you. I will spend every second trying to seduce you and bring you into my bed. But you will need to be the one to ask me to sleep with you." said Sarah
"Doesn't sound fair" said Chuck
"Who said anything about me being fair, lover?" she asked seductively
Chuck smiled. "Ok. Let's see how good of a spy you are" he joked
"I take it as a challenge, you will lose." said Sarah
Langley
Zondra Rizzo was waiting outside of Graham's office. The CIA director wasn't known for his patience, and because of her plane having problems she got in DC two days late.
"Agent Rizzo, you can go in." said the secretary.
Zondra entered Graham's office. He didn't had any respect for the man, but she had to admit his office looked nice. She expected a place that matched his morally corrupt personality. What she found was a nice looking office. If she didn't knew better she would think she was safe. It was far from that. Graham stood at his office looking furious.
"Agent Rizzo, I don't like waiting." said Graham
"The plane had some problems, sir." said Zondra
"I have a new mission for you. In your reports you mentioned a group named Fulcrum. Apparantely the group infiltrated deep inside in our gouverment and our agencies. As a response DEA, NSA and CIA formed a new joint team meant to deal with this threat. We also have an agent deep undercover, investigating and disrupting their operations. But the number of people we can trust is limited." said Graham
"How limited?" asked Zondra concerned
"Besides the three agents and their asset that form the response team, the agent that gathers information and disrupts their operations, me, General Beckman, Alicia Levy and the Director of DNI, nobody knows about it. Now you are added to this list. The group think that our rules and our civil liberties limit make us weak. I may not like you but you always had respect for rules." said Graham
"Ok so it's serious. Who are the agents ? And what's the role of the asset?" asked Zondra
"Agent Rizzo, for security reasons I can't tell you." said Graham
"Ok so what do you want me to do?" asked Zondra
"I want you to go rogue, or at least give the idea you've gone rogue. I want you to lure Fulcrum, convince them to recruit you." said Graham
"And feed the information back to the response team." said Zondra
"Yes" said Graham
"Who's going to be my handler?" asked Zondra
"You won't have a handler, agent Rizzo. You will answer to me, General Beckman and Alicia Levy directly." said Graham
"Understood." said Rizzo
"Oh, and tomorrow report to Facility X. You will get fully debriefed on how the operation will go." said Graham
Zondra exited. She didn't knew if to be happy or scared. She will get to go on a real mission, but the threat was extremely dangerous.
Buy More Burbank, 1 day until the upload.
Chuck was spending his day dealing with a lot. Big Mike, the manager of the store was supposed to choose a new assistant manager, and the only candidates were Chuck and Harry Tang. If Tang got the promotion, then the story will suffer his wrath. So the many Buy More employes have rounded alongside Chuck to make sure Tang won't win.
It was the Buy More morning meeting. Everyone gathered as Big Mike came to talk to the staff from the sale team and the Nerd Herd team.
"Ok everyone, let's start the meeting. First things, first, Harry, your team barely produced any sale this week and I am very disappointed. Also why the hell do you interfere with the Nerd Herd team? Chuck is their boss, and you are not the assistant manager yet." said Big Mike
It was true Harry Tang thought he was the king of the store, but in reality he was just an anoying tyrant, and everyone in the Buy More hated him with passion.
"Mike, I just wanted to give my colleague some advice on how to run a team efficiently" said Tang
"Harry, if I have to choose on who runs a team better, I will say Chuck is the winner. He has the respect of his team, which you clearly don't, because if you did you would've had more sales." said Big Mike
"Mike, listen, Bartowski is not a good fit for assistant manager. If he gets the job, these idiots will do as they please." said Harry trying to keep his anger in check.
"Ah… The assistant manager job. I didn't decided yet on who to give the job. But if someone wants the job, he will need to work. I need to see more sales from your team, Tang. If not I will give the job to Chuck. No go do your jobs." said Mike as he ended the meeting.
Tang left with his face red.
Facility X, Location Unknown
Zondra entered the secret facility. The place had a lot of security. She was escorted by Major John Casey into a meeting room where she saw Alicia Levy, the Director of the DEA, General Diane Beckman, the Director of the NSA and Langston Graham, the Director of the CIA.
"Agent Rizzo, please take a seat." said Beckman
Zondra did exactly as she was told. Major Casey took a remote and sat next to Zondra.
"Let's begin with what you already know." said Alicia. The DEA Director got up from her chair and took the remote from Casey, she pressed a button and a video with Bryce Larkin going inside the facility and beating the guards started playing. " Two months ago the schematics for this facility were stolen. CIA sent two agents to retrive the schematics,one of them being Bryce Larkin. Agent Larkin however stole the plans and he was declared rogue. But apparantely he decided to infiltrate a group of rogue agents called Fulcrum. Fulcrum wanted something called the Intersect, which at the moment may be the only advantage we have against them." said Alicia
"What's the Intersect?" asked Zondra
"It's a classified program. For now we won't reveal much about the project in case Fulcrum gets to interogate you." said Graham
"I am guessing the Intersect is with Agent Larkin or the response team?" asked Zondra
"We faked agent Larkin's death. He will operate against Fulcrum. The response team will take mission based on what information, Agent Larkin or The Intersect provides. Their missions won't always focus on Fulcrum. Your role in all of this is to infiltrate Fulcrum. Learn more about them and give us the intel you get. If the mission becomes to dangerous or you think your cover got compromised you will use this phone." said Beckman as she gave Zondra a phone.
"The phone is encrypted. It has a pre-programed number used to contact Casey who will be on the response team. They will extract you. The phone is a last resort so you will use it only if you are in trouble or you have important information we need to act on fast. In rest you will have zero contact with anyone else involved in Operation New Order. Understood?" said Graham
"Yes." said Zondra.
"We will create the image of you being sent on a mission and then going rogue. You will need to sell this." said Alicia
"I understand." said Zondra
"Here are the details of everything you need to know. You have three days to think if you want to do this." said Beckman as she passed Zondra a folder.
Zondra took the folder and burner phone and left. She didn't need 3 days to decide. She was already in.
The Day Of The Upload
Casey was in a public flight to LA. The flight was slow, but he didn't want to attract attention. He was supposed to meet with Walker and Bartowski at Walker's hotel. Bartowski was supposed to upload the Intersect after he and Walker saw the deal they made on paper signed by The Directors of NSA,CIA,DEA and DNI. The flight was very slow because of the stops at other airports the plane had to make.
Once Casey finally got to LAX he got a cab to Maison23. He went inside the hotel and asked at the reception in what room he could find Sarah Walker. After he got the information he needed he went inside the elevator. In less then 3 minutes he found himself next to the door of Sarah's hotel room. He knocked once and he waited.
The door opened revealing a young blonde woman with long hair and blue eyes. Next to her was a man with curly black hair and brown eyes.
"Walker." said Casey to the woman
"Casey" responded Sarah. "I want to see the paper with the deal." she continued.
Casey noticed how Sarah looked at him. She was scanning him, trying to figure out if she could trust him or not. She was ready to attack in a moment notice. Casey was not a person who got scared easy, but the look Sarah's could scare even the most deadly assasin. Casey knew Walker's reputation as the Ice Queen, the cold and ruthless assasin who does everything to finish her mission, with the exception of sleeping with her marks. The Major had his share of missions and he also got a reputation for being loyal and ruthless, but compared to the woman he was now looking at, he felt for the first time in his life scared.
"Here" said Casey as he gave Sarah the papers.
Sarah looked at the deal on the papers. It was signed by the Directors of the DNI,CIA,NSA and DEA. She read carefully so she can be sure that they didn't gave themselves a loophole.
"It's ok." said Sarah to Chuck. Her tone went from a sharp and direct to calm and caring. She was more relaxed, but still ready to attack at a moment's notice.
Casey was surprised by the change of Walker's manner when she talked to Bartowski.
Chuck took the harddrive and connected a cable to his laptop. He pressed some buttons on his keyboard and the screen opened. The screen was black. Chuck pressed some buttons again and on the screen apeared the text 'Do you wish to proceed?'.
"Larkin told us he put a password to make sure you are the only one who can upload it." said Casey
"He did, but I bypassed it. I also overwrote his virus so I could've deleted the email. Just so you know…" said Chuck.
Casey observed his tone as he spoke. He wasn't arrogant. He was confident. The Major noted to himself that Bartowski was smarter than it was initially thought. Larkin underestimated him.
"Ok, Walker we can't look as he uploads the thing." said Casey
Sarah and Casey looked back from the monitor of the laptop while Chuck typed 'yes' and pressed 'enter'. A bunch of images started appearing in front of Chuck. It took 15 minutes until a voice from the laptop said "Upload Complete". Sarah and Casey turned to see as Chuck collapsed. Sarah ran toward him to check his pulse.
"He is still alive" she said
"Now let's see if he wakes up" grunted Casey. He imeadiately regreted saying that after Sarah looked at him with a stare that froze him in his place.
After the upload ended Chuck found himself in void-like space. Everything was black around him.
"A sword of gold is a broken heart." said Chuck.
The void around Chuck reacted to Chuck's words as a lot of images started replacing the black space. Chuck was now replaced by all the files from the gouverment's Intersect.
"Test Protocol Goodbye. Alpha-Omega-Sierra-4" said Chuck
A computerized voice said in response "Test results: All data collected from Intersect-Gamma have been deleted."
"Test Skills" said Chuck.
The void that surrounded Chuck was now replaced by a lot moutain terrain. Some ninja also appeared. The ninja attacked Chuck, but Chuck flashed on fighting skills. He soon found himslef fighting the ninja. After he easily beat the ninja, the terrain changed again. Chuck found himself near a motorcycle. He got on the bike and drove as a lot of obstacles appeared in his face. This thing repeated until all of the skills from Chuck's Intersect got tested. After all of the test ended the voide reappeared and the computerized voice said "Test results: Skill Operational"
"Test AI Interface" said Chuck
The void started displaying a lot of numbers and data for two second and then everything returned to the black void and the voice said "Test results: AI Interface Operational"
Chuck also had the trait function but as he didn't had any data for that function he didn't knew if the function would activate. But Chuck still wanted to test it so he said "Test Trait Function"
A lot of profile data appeared. Chuck thought that the respective data came from the gouverment's Intersect. He looked around to see what he could find in the data. From what he saw and what he already knew from the code of the trait function he realized that the function could be use to change his personality for a small period of time. Chuck didn't liked the idea.
"Test results: Trait Function Operational" came the computerized voice
"Admin Access Alpha-Omega-Sierra-4" said Chuck
"Access Granted" said the voice
"Disable the trait function and block it. Reactivation of the trait function only under admin access." said Chuck
"Command Accepted. Trait Function Disabled. To reactivate it use the admin mode." said the voice
"Test Focus" said Chuck
The void didn't changed this time. Everything remained the same. After a minute the voice said "Test results: Focus Function Operational"
"Well I guess everything is in order then. Wake Up Protocol Alpha-Omega-Sierra-1" said Chuck. In less than two seconds he flashed.
Back in Sarah's room, Sarah put Chuck on her bed and started thinking on calling 911. But Chuck woke up.
"Aghh. My head!" said Chuck. He woke up, but he had a really bad headache.
"Stay there, I have something for the pain" said Sarah as she went inside her bathroom.
She quickly returned and gave Chuck a pill, which he swallowed.
"Better?" asked Sarah
"Yeah. Kinda." said Chuck
"Glad to see you are back with us Bartowski!" said Casey. "The bosses want to talk to us." he continued
"I don't care. They can wait until tomorrow." said Sarah, her look throwing daggers at Casey.
"Fine" he said. "I am going to my motel."
Casey left the room.
After Sarah checked the rooms for bugs and then looked outside to check if Casey left the hotel, she tuned toward Chuck.
"How are you feeling?" she asked
"I am ok. Lucky for me the last update I made using my father's code madee the whole thing easier. If it wasn't for that I would've probably waked up in the morning." said Chuck
"The headache?" asked Sarah concerned
"It's better. And considering I just uploaded the whole gouverment's database in my head I think it's normal." he said
"Your harddrive got fried. The laptop is still ok through." said Sarah
"I expected that" said Chuck
"Can we test the Intersect?" asked Sarah
"How do you plan on doing that?" asked Chuck
"You said that a falsh is triggered by a image or something you hear, right?" said Sarah
"Yeah" said Chuck
"John Casey" said Sarah
Chuck flashed.

As the flash ended, Chuck said " Well Casey is not a guy that talks much. He prefers shooting, actually. And bombs. Like this guy is a lot. He also changed his name, his real name is Alex Coburn." said Chuck
"Well I knew Casey is a bit of a 'shoot first, ask questions later' type of person, but I didn't knew he about his name. We better keep that for ourselves, we don't know how he's going to react if he finds out we know his real name." said Sarah
Chuck nodded.
"Chuck I know you don't want to have sex with me yet, but it would be better if you stay with me. Just for tonight, so I know you are safe, ok?" said Sarah
Chuck agreed reluctantly.
Both Chuck and Sarah slept in Sarah's bed. It was nothing romantic, but Sarah still hoped that Chuck will get past his insecurities. When Chuck put his hand around her, a smile formed on her face.
Casey's Motel
Casey got to his motel and entered the room that the NSA got for him, until his apartment was ready. He used his phone to call Beckman.
"Beckman, secure." heard Casey from his phone
"Casey, secure." he said
"So?" asked Beckman
"Bartowski uploaded the Intersect. He is fine. After the upload he passed out for 15 minutes and woke up with a headache. He is staying with Walker at her hotel." said Casey
"What about Walker?" asked Beckman
"Well she as scary as ever, and I don't scare easily. The whole time she was ready to attack me and kill me. But she really cares for the geek. That was clear from the start. General if someone breaks that deal we made with her and puts a kill order on Bartowski, I think she will kill the person who put the order." said Casey
"I don't have any intention of putting a kill order on Bartowski. He is the first human Intersect and even if we get the Intersect into an agent, I won't put an order on an innocent civilian who decided to help us. As for the fact Walker and Bartowski are in a relationship and love each other? I don't see a problem. Walker will only be more motivated to protect him. The whole 49B was for criminals and Bartowski is not a criminal so I don't have a problem." said Beckman
"I think we should try to make the kid an analyst." said Casey
"Why?" asked Beckman
"He is smart. The virus that Larkin made to stop him from deleting the email? Batowski found a way to neutralize the virus. He also bypassed the password and also found a way to access the information inside the program without uploading it. I understand if you want to keep him as an asset so you can keep his identity and the fact he is the Intersect a secret from Fulcrum, but I think we should consider hiring him after we stop Fulcrum." said Casey
"Hmm. It's not a bad idea. Let me think about it. I am more concerned about Larkin and Rizzo. They create a major risk. Graham may try to take control of the operation and having three CIA agent into this operation will surely help him. " said Beckman
"I don't think Walker will help Graham. I think her loyalties lie with Bartowski. And from what I read about Rizzo, she isn't the type of agent that will help Graham. Larkin on the other hand… He is another thing." said Casey
"Alicia has a similar opinion. Still Graham is extremly smart and has a lot of political connections. We need to be careful. Beckman out." said Beckman as she ended the call.

Oh I also work on the "Chuck Vs TikTok" story but that will take sometime.
For this story I have some plans but not everything is set in stone. However I plan to have this story being related to my "Chuck Vs The Knigh Rider" story. That's basically it. See you next time!
