Summary:
After a routine scouting mission leaves one of the mini-cons injured, they end up getting help from an unusual source. Since that day, the small cassettes have been obsessed with this human who stared them down and for some reason, took it upon himself to try and help. Maybe Soundwave has room for one more mini-con in his ranks after all.
Or: Danny happened to save a metal cat from a fight with Cujo and now ever since then all of these mini robots keep showing up in his town and spying on him (not very secretively). Now he's got to deal with six new brothers and an overprotective twenty-two-foot-tall caretaker… What has his afterlife come to?
Notes:
This story is basically an amalgamation of all of my Transformers knowledge and universes. But will mostly rely on G1 for designs and characterization.
I came up with the idea while I was writing my other Transformers crossover series with Danny Phantom "Haunting the Nemesis." I love Soundwave and his mini-cons and I was sad that I couldn't include them in my other story because it was set in Transformers Prime! Then I went oh wait… I can make my own!
So here we have a small spin-off with G1 Soundwave and his babies! This won't have anything to do with the plot of Haunting the Nemesis and will be its own thing. It was just inspired by it. Hope you enjoy the story!
Edit: - Nov 26, 2024
Okay, so after some deliberation and voting in my server, I have decided to change the pronouns of two of the cassettes! I know that all of them in Cannon are known as he/him, but when you write a scene with eight he/hims in a conversation, it gets overwhelming really quickly!
So we decided to switch both Ravage and Laserbeak to She/her, and I will be updating the first chapter accordingly! Also, big sister Ravage is the best! I hope no one is too terribly upset by this change of cannon, but I hope that we can move around it.
Danny flew over Amity Park doing his regular patrol. The night was quiet, almost too quiet. It set Danny's nerves on edge. Typically, there would have been an attack of some kind at this point: Box ghost throwing some crates around, or a ghost snake trying to swallow up a stray cat, things like that. But tonight, there was nothing.
He floated above the rooftops, surveying the familiar grid of streets and buildings he knew by heart. Usually, Sam and Tucker would be with him. But Sam was stuck at a formal dinner with her parents that she had been dreading for weeks, and Tucker had opted to stay home to play with his brand-new PDA model that had just been released. So, Danny patrolled alone. Not that he minded — it felt nice sometimes to float around his haunt, make sure everything was in order, that everyone was safe.
He was passing over the closed corner store when a distant sound caught his attention. A growl and a scuffle of some kind followed a large metal clang. Danny sighed. He knew the peace wouldn't last. Danny's senses heightened as he honed in on the noise. Without hesitation, he shot down the street in the direction of the scuffle.
When Danny arrived, he instantly spotted Cujo, a giant green ghost dog, playfully bounding around a massive, robotic, panther-looking creature nearly the size of a horse. The cat was covered head to tail in dark gray metal plating and had bright red eyes. The cat also seemed injured, favouring the left side and pointing it away from its attacker.
Danny glanced over and noticed a lamppost nearby that looked massively dented and crumpled in the middle, like something or someone had been thrown into it. Likely Whiskers over here. This would also explain the loud noise Danny heard earlier.
The cat hissed with a deep, angry snarl and made a swipe with giant claws toward Cujo, trying to fend him off. The cat didn't seem to be enjoying the playful tussle Cujo thought this was. Cujo bounced back, wagging his tail, and barked at the slightly smaller animal, who bared sharp metal teeth in irritation. It was time to step in.
"Cujo!" Danny called out, trying to get his attention. The ghost dog's ears twitched, and he paused for a split second, looking up at the floating ghost teen. His face split into a smile (as much as a dog could smile), panting with his tongue sticking out, staring at Danny excitedly. It was all the opening the metal cat needed. Suddenly, it ran past the dog and spun around to face him, firing a single missile previously attached to its hip.
The missile headed for Cujo, but the dog lazily slapped it out of the air with his giant paw, causing it to explode into the concrete. Cujo just let the debris of the explosion phase through him and barked happily. The cat hissed, clearly upset, as Cujo seemed more excited that the cat was "playing" with him. Danny could tell the cat was getting more and more unhappy every moment that passed.
Danny noticed a pinkish substance trickling down from one of the metal legs, where some of the shrapnel from where the missile had grazed it. And now Danny could also clearly the dented side, where part of the metal had been busted open, and the same liquid was flowing out there as well.
With the fight escalating so much, Danny took it a step further. He flew over as fast as he could and appeared right in front of the cat, floating between the two of them and facing Cujo. Cujo barked happily and pounced forward with his bum in the air in the universal play-with-me motion, tail wagging so fast it almost knocked him off balance.
"Cujo, the cat doesn't want to play with you. See? They're hurt." Danny gestured vaguely back towards the cat behind him. He swore he heard an indignant huff from that direction but decided to ignore it. Cujo glanced between Danny and his new "friend" but didn't seem to understand. He barked again, just wanting to play with someone.
Danny sighed, running a hand down his face. "Okay, you want to play? Here, look." Danny formed a large ice ball between his hands, his eyes flashing blue as he concentrated. The second Danny held the ball up for the dog to inspect, the dog barked excitedly and started bouncing around. Danny wound back his arm and threw it as far as he could. If he was lucky, it would take him far out of town. "Fetch!"
The ghost dog sped after the ice ball, leaving behind his new cat friend without a second thought. Danny sighed in relief, watching for a moment more as the ghost dog disappeared, hopefully to be distracted for the next thirty minutes while Danny dealt with the big cat.
"Sorry about that, he's—" Danny turned around, smiling, only to see that the cat was gone. How could something that large and made of metal escape Danny without a sound? Danny glanced around the area. They were hurt, and probably needed help.
Danny spotted a splash of the pink substance on the asphalt, standing out with its glowing hue against the dark road. It reminded Danny almost of ectoplasm, if ectoplasm was, well, pink and a lot more – watery? There was a trail of small drips leading down the road, and Danny decided to follow it.
The trail led him to a small alleyway not too far from where the fight had taken place. Danny squinted his eyes as he looked down the dark alley. Faintly, he could see the outline of the cat trying to hide as far back as it could. The cat's red eyes locked onto Danny, unmoving.
Danny walked cautiously toward the narrow space between the buildings. "Hey, are you okay?" He called, keeping his voice low and steady. The closer he got, the more of the cat he could see. "I know Cujo likes to play rough. Trust me — I've been put through the wringer several times."
A low growl emanated from the cat's frame; Danny paused mid-step, already halfway into the alley. He could see the cat much more easily now, and he certainly didn't forget about the other missile. Not that it could hurt Danny. Either way, Danny held his hands up in surrender, slowly stepping back.
"It's alright," he said. "I'm not going to hurt you." Danny saw the cat's ears press tighter against his head.
Danny's gaze drifted to the wound, the pink liquid still dripping from the cat's leg, pooling on the ground. "You're hurt." He took a tentative step forward, and the cat hissed again, louder this time, its metal claws extending with a sharp metallic scrape.
"Look, I'm just trying to help," Danny said firmly, his voice laced with determination. He moved closer, his reflexes kicking in a second too late as the cat's claws lashed out, catching his arm. The fabric of his suit tore, and a thin line of ectoplasm started to drip from his arm before he phased enough for the claws to pass the rest of the way through.
Danny grabbed onto his arm, pulling his hand back to see the small bit of ectoplasm pooling on his glove. He took a deep breath, ignoring the sting. "Nice try, but I'm not going anywhere," he declared. Though he still stepped back slightly, this time out of swiping reach, giving the defensive cat some space.
Danny looked over the injuries from where he was standing. "I may have some bandages I can use for that front paw to try and stop the —bleeding?— but I'm not sure how well it'll work, especially if that stuff is toxic or acidic." He thought out loud.
Danny tilted his head, trying to get a better view of the injury on the cat's flank, only for the mech to narrow its eyes in response and turn away enough to obscure Danny's view of the injury. Danny sighed, exasperated. "I might need something else for that, though. Would you use a welder? Piece of scrap metal? Could that even heal like a normal wound?" Danny continued his thoughts out loud, hoping that the sound of his calm talking and questions could help calm down the cat enough for Danny to get closer.
"Can you just let me see it?" Danny tried, and the cat again hissed in response. Danny sighed. "Fine, I guess we will be here all night then." He promptly sat down on the cold alley ground and crossed his legs, making himself as small and insignificant as possible. "I can wait."

Ravage stood hidden in the shadows of the narrow alley, the sharp, coppery scent of energon seeping from the gashes in her leg and hip. her metal body tensed, every sensor alert after the skirmish with the glowing green canine. She had encountered countless enemies on Earth, but nothing quite like that creature — an incorporeal beast whose enthusiasm bordered on madness. Not even Ravage's missiles scared it off, as it merely swatted them away.
The only thing that made it leave Ravage alone was the human's unexpected intervention. Then again, the young organic seemed to share many of the same attributes as the creature that had attacked her. An otherworldly glow emanated from him, and he had luminescent green eyes, not to mention that the human had flown. Ravage had never known a human to fly before. A quick scan of the boy before him revealed a very similar energy signature to the dog, as well as some very strange vitals: no heartbeat and a significantly below-average core temperature. Interesting indeed.
Ravage had already sent a ping for backup, knowing she wouldn't be able to make it far on her injured leg, and with one missile depleted, escape was no longer a straightforward option. Even if she could easily kill this human and escape, she wouldn't have made it very far. It was better for her to wait it out so she could control the situation until help arrived.
"Come on, can I please just see your leg? I promise I won't hurt you." The human tried again, using the same tone as before, trying to act calm and collected. The human's audacity was matched only by his persistence. Ravage flashed her sharp fangs at the human again in an attempt to threaten him, but again, it didn't work.
Minutes passed, eleven by Ravage's count, as the boy rambled on, attempting to "calm her down" as though she were some wild Earth animal. But the amount of energon Ravage was losing was starting to get concerning, almost to the point where she was tempted to let the human try and patch her up.
Then, the merciful metallic thud of approaching footsteps echoed off the alley's brick walls, and Ravage's ears perked up at the sound. The human stood up quickly, turning his back to Ravage, which made the mini-con's EM field flare in outrage. The human didn't seem to care about the possible threat Ravage posed at all. It almost made Ravage want to pounce on him and rip out his spine with her teeth just for the notion of not thinking she could be dangerous.
The footsteps approached their location, and Ravage's optics narrowed toward the mouth of the alley, leaning to the side to see around the foolish human. Then, from around the corner, entered Rumble and Frenzy. Ravage's optics flickered in annoyance, already anticipating the taunts and mockery for her request for backup. Both newly arrived mechs smiled at the sight before them.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Rumble said, stepping into the narrow alley and giving a theatrical sweep of his arm. His purple plating contrasted against the shadows much more than Ravage's dark stealth plating. "Little pussy cat got hurt. Not so high and mighty now, are we?"
Ravage stood tall, baring her teeth towards her two imbecilic roommates/brothers (who were only bonded to him because they shared the same tapedeck). The human seemed a little nervous, but strangely not for himself. He glanced back towards Ravage with a strange look the quadruped couldn't quite identify.
"Who are you guys supposed to be?" The human asked, crossing his arms over his chest and trying to step in front of Ravage as if to hide her from their mockery.
The twin's optics landed on the human, glowing faintly in the dim light. Frenzy crossed his arms over his chest, and Rumble looked the human up and down. "Didn't know Earth had fireflies this big." Rumble laughed.
Frenzy walked over to the human, his grin sharp. His field was filled with mischief. He leaned down, looming over him. Even though Frenzy was a mini-con, he was still at least two to three feet taller than the human. "Bet you think you're real brave, don't ya?"
The human raised an eyebrow, unfazed by their towering presence. "I try my best," he responded easily.
Rumble's optics lit up, and he barked out a short laugh. "Awe, cute; he thinks he's all tough." He jabbed a finger in the human's chest, causing him to stumble back slightly. He then turned his attention back to Ravage. "What's the matter, Ravage? Couldn't handle one human on your own? Need us to play babysitter?"
Frenzy cackled, clapping his servos in mock celebration. "The great hunter, brought low by a meat sack!" He turned his attention back to the human. "You know, I bet you'd snap real easy. Like a twig. All the fleshies are just so delicate." He smiled with his threat, and Ravage rolled her optics. They were always so ridiculous when it came to messing with humans. Ravage didn't get the need they had to try and frighten them.
The human moved his hands to his hips. "I'm not as fleshy as you think."
Frenzy smirked, nudging his twin's arm. "Snarky little guy we got there. What do you say, Rumble? Quick game of 'squash the bug'?" He leaned closer, face inches from the human's, optics narrowing. "Bet it'd be fun."
The human's expression didn't waver. "You guys rehearse this act? Or is this just improv? 'Cause I've heard scarier things from my parents."
Rumble's jaw clenched, and Frenzy grinned wider. "Oh, how's this for scary, glow-boy." He grabbed the front of the human's shirt, lifted him off the ground, and transformed his servo into a giant drill, holding it threateningly in front of the human's face.
Ravage bristled, planting a paw on the ground to push herself forward. The pain shot through her body, but she ignored it. "Enough," she snapped. "Just leave the human alone. We're here for extraction, not for your games."
Rumble's smirk widened. "Aw, come on, pussycat. Let us have a little fun," he teased, crossing his arms and tapping his foot with exaggerated impatience.
The human turned, looking at Ravage with a startled expression. "You can talk?" He asked, a surprised hint to his tone, unbothered by Frenzy's threat to his life.
Rumble and Frenzy started laughing, so much so that Frenzy ended up dropping the human. Rumble spoke up. "Oh - look at that, Ravage," He wheezed. "You've impressed the little human. Bet he thought you were just a big pet." He gripped the brick wall to support himself through his laughter.
Frenzy snickered. "More like an overgrown alley cat that needs rescuing," he quipped, earning a flash of Ravage's sharp fangs as she growled again, ears pinned against her helm. The twins were taking every chance they got to jab at Ravage because they knew they wouldn't get any more chances without the mech pouncing on them with a deadly threat. As soon as Ravage was back in full fighting condition, those two were in for the run of their lives.
The human looked back to Ravage with a grimace on his face. "Sorry, I didn't realize. I would have tried to be more respectful if I had known."
"Doesn't matter," Ravage snapped. "We need to get back." She addressed the twins.
Rumble and Frenzy exchanged amused glances before Frenzy leaned down, again getting in the human's face, almost nose-to-nose, some scare tactic he liked to use. "What about the kid?" he asked with a smirk, trying to be as threatening as possible. The human did not react to the close contact, merely glaring at the red and black mech.
Rumble chimed in, his tone gleeful and mocking. "We should take him with us. Could use a little entertainment back on the ship."
Ravage's optics narrowed further, irritation blooming in her EM field. She could already feel a helm ache coming on. "No," she snapped, struggling to inject convincing authority into her weakened voice. "We're not taking him."
Frenzy rolled his optics and threw his hands up, turning away from the human. "Oh, don't be so boring, Ravage. The big M won't even notice one little pet."
The kid rolled his eyes. "I'm not a pet, and certainly not your pet." He pointed back and forth between Rumble and Frenzy. "But right now, you guys need to help your friend; she seems to be losing a lot of blood — or whatever that stuff is."
"Sister, actually," Rumble corrected. The human's eyebrows shot up for a second before he quickly tried to school his features back into neutrality, trying not to offend anyone.
"Unfortunately," Ravage muttered, limping past the human and toward the mouth of the alleyway.
The human's eyes suddenly widened as if realizing something for the first time. Before they could move any further, he stepped in front of them, hands outstretched. "Wait, wait, wait!"
Frenzy's optics flashed, his fingers twitching with impatience. "What now? We decided to let you live, and now that we are trying to leave you alone, you want us to stay? We like you so far, but you need to get out of our way before I move you myself."
Ravage shot a look at the human, silently questioning his motives.
The human, unfazed by Frenzy's threat, met their stares head-on. "You don't want to risk running into someone on the street. I can get you out of town undetected," he said with determination.
Rumble let out a bark of laughter. "We can deal with any squishes we come across."
The human's jaw tightened, the urgency in his eyes deepening. "You can't just hurt people because they're in your way."
Frenzy bristled. "Oh yeah? Watch me." He attempted to shove past the human, who, in response, ran further ahead to block his path again.
This time, Frenzy paused, clearly unhappy. There was a beat of tense silence as the human held his ground, unwavering. Then, he exhaled and spoke calmly. "Look, I'm trying to keep you from causing more trouble. I can lead you out of here, and no one gets hurt. You guys are both injured and unfamiliar with the layout of the town," he gestured to Ravage for 'injured' and the twins for 'unfamiliar.' — you're going to be vulnerable whether you like it or not."
Ravage growled low, considering the human's words. They were running out of time, and her systems were lagging. "Fine, just get us out of here."
The human's glowing eyes flitted between the twins and Ravage, a hint of relief in his posture as he started to move. "Follow me. No detours, no casualties."

Danny floated above the alleyway and glanced around the area of town they were in. Luckily, it seemed everyone was still inside their homes. The coast was clear. He landed back on the ground and signalled to the three robots behind him that it was safe to come out. He knew that if he didn't lead these guys out of here, there was a chance that not only could they get lost, but someone could be very hurt if they ran into them.
Danny knew he could take care of himself with these guys. If Cujo could damage Ravage, who was not, in fact, just a hurt metal cat, Danny knew he could phase away if needed. Even though the threats the red and purple twin robots —Rumble and Frenzy— made to his life were disturbing, it was nothing he hadn't heard before, whether it be from his parents or other ghosts he got into fights with.
Danny glanced over at them: Ravage, limping but moving steadily, and Rumble and Frenzy, who both looked a bit too excited to be poking fun at their so-called sister's injuries. Luckily, they seemed to agree that Danny knew the way.
"Okay," Danny whispered, glancing nervously over his shoulder. "Stick close to me and try not to make any noise. We need to get out of here without waking the whole town."
Rumble's optics glinted with amusement as he leaned over to Frenzy. "Hear that? The tiny human thinks he's in charge," he snickered.
Danny gritted his teeth. "Do you want to get caught?" He hissed. "My town, my rules. You guys were the ones that trespassed in my territory."
They slunk through the alleyways, Danny's core pulsing in his chest as he led the way. Just get them out of town. They would be fine. Everyone would be fine. He could almost hear Tucker and Sam's exasperated voices in his head: Ghosts, sure. But murder robots? Seriously, Danny?
Rumble spoke up again, apparently not one to enjoy silence. "Ya got a name, Glowstick?" Danny looked around another corner and signalled for them to follow when the coast was clear.
Danny debated briefly what to tell them and glanced down at his gloved hands. "Phantom." He answered.
Frenzy laughed. "What kind of a name is Phantom?"
"What kind of a name is Frenzy," Danny shot back.
Frenzy scowled in response, but his brother laughed, and Danny could feel amusement almost emanating from Ravage. Danny smirked to himself.
The sudden sound of footsteps caught his attention, and Danny's head snapped toward the main road. A flashlight beam swept across the darkened buildings as a police officer approached. "Shit," Danny cursed under his breath, holding his arm out to stop them from going any further.
With only two officers in the town, Danny was honestly surprised one of them was even out patrolling. Rumble leaned over Danny's shoulder to see. The sound of his metal joints creaking ominously behind him. "Wouldn't it be easier just to take him out?"
Danny's core lurched. "No!" He whispered urgently, turning to glare at the large purple and blue robot. "No one's hurting anybody, got it? We're getting out of here quietly." He then spun on his heel and tried to push the mech back into the alley. The first shove didn't work, so he put more energy into the second and pushed him back far enough that they were now hidden.
Rumble and Frenzy both looked at him with slight surprise, probably at his ability to push Rumble back. Danny hoped that Rumble didn't snap out of it and take enough offence to make another threat.
Danny held his finger to his lips with the (hopefully) universal shooshing motion. He sucked in a breath, trying to steady the anxiety roiling in his chest. The officer's flashlight swept closer. Danny held his breath (not that he needed to breathe. It was more a habit than anything) and waited. The light passed by quickly, and the man's steps faded. Danny sighed in relief.
"Okay, Move," Danny whispered, and this time they followed without complaint.
They pressed on. Luckily, it was a small town, and they were already near the outskirts. The faint glow of the streetlights thinned. Danny led them through one last shortcut — a narrow alley that spat them out by an abandoned road marking the town's boundary.
He paused, glancing back at the trio. "There. You're clear of the town now. Whatever you do next, just… don't come back here, okay?" Danny ran a hand down his face. "I don't want any trouble, and I've got a lot on my plate without having to worry about murderous robots trying to harass the people in my haunt." He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall. "Now go get Ravage some help. You know your way home from here, right? Please tell me you do. I don't have anywhere else you can go."
One of the twins was about to speak up but Ravage butt in. "We know the way. We'll be fine."
"Good. keep out of trouble." Danny responded.
The twins laughed. "Like we ever do," Frenzy commented.
"Break you next time, Glowstick," Rumble called out cheerfully.
Danny sighed. "Looking forward to it," he muttered under his breath.
Ravage, for her part, locked eyes with Danny for a moment. The red glow of her optics softened, and she limped off, Rumble and Frenzy following with whispered jabs and laughter.
Danny watched them go until they disappeared into the darkness, the tension in his chest finally easing. He let out a long breath, leaning back against the brick wall, the reality of what had just happened sinking in. What did he just get himself into?

Soundwave sat in the quiet hum of his private quarters aboard the Nemesis, reviewing some datapads he had splayed on his desk. Ratbat nestled in a corner, laying in the tiny nest he had been making with little pieces of fabric scraps he scavenged from his trips to the Earth's surface, wings folded up tightly as he slept. Buzzsaw sat sleeping atop one of the many perches that Soundwave had installed in his quarters for his three fliers, though Ratbat seemed to prefer his corner.
Laserbeak sat on his desk, preening her metal feathers with precision. Their movements' subtle clicks and whirrs were the only sounds, a peaceful rhythm that Soundwave found oddly grounding.
The moment shattered with the abrupt clatter of metal footsteps outside. The door slid open to reveal Rumble and Frenzy escorting a limping Ravage, a trail of energon smeared across her front leg and flank.
Soundwave's visor flickered at the sight of Ravage's injury, concern blooming in his field as he rose smoothly to his pedes. The emotion emanating from him through the bond was enough to wake both Buzzsaw and Ratbat from their slumber.
Kneeling beside Ravage, Soundwave scanned the quadruped's injuries, taking note of the abrasions and internal damage. "Status: compromised," he stated. "Query: What happened?"
Ravage allowed Soundwave to begin patching up the worst of the injuries. "A strange encounter. There was... a creature. Not metallic, not of Cybertronian origin. A glowing, powerful, green canine." her tail flicked in agitation, ears flattening at the memory. "It attacked without provocation, swift and chaotic. It was unlike anything I have ever seen. Any attacks I used would pass through it as if it didn't have a form." Ravage explained. "I will upload the scans to your database."
"Guess the rule of dogs attacking cats applies to cybercats as well," Rumble mocked. Ravage growled in response. Soundwave shot a look back at the mini-con that instantly shut him up.
"Ravage: victor?" Soundwave asked. Ravage shrunk down on herself slightly.
"Negative. The canine was scared off by other means." Ravage explained.
Frenzy snickered, elbowing Rumble. "Yeah, but wait 'til you hear about the human!" Frenzy burst out laughing, his metallic voice echoing around the room. "The big, bad Ravage taken care of by some tiny fleshy!"
Ravage's optics flared with a sharp glare. "Silence." But before she could snap further, Soundwave's smooth and unyielding voice cut through.
"Clarify: human encounter," he commanded.
Always eager to share a story, Rumble leaned forward, his optics gleaming. "Get this, boss. A human kid shows up and tries to patch Ravage up! Can you believe it? Comes waltzing in like he's got a death wish or something, and then has the nerve to tell Ravage to 'sit still.'"
"Like he's talking to an Earth cat!" Frenzy added.
Soundwave's visor flickered, processing this information. "Intent: hostile?" he asked, tone precise.
Ravage scoffed, tail lashing behind her. "Hostile? Hardly. He lacked the capability to harm us in any meaningful way. This one, though, was... persistent. Annoyingly so."
Buzzsaw tilted his helm. "Why would a human help? Normally, organics attempt to run when they come across us." He asked.
Ravage glanced up at her smaller sibling. "That's what makes this one strange. He didn't flee. Even after being threatened, he stayed."
The twins cackled, Rumble mimicking their earlier interaction. "Yeah, we even joked about offlining him right there! Told him he was about to be scrap, and the kid just rolled his eyes."
"Oh yeah," Frenzy continued. "When we first showed up, he even tried to protect little old injured Ravage!" He laughed. "Standing between us, like he could do a thing to stop us." Soundwave tilted his helm thoughtfully. In the back of his processor, he was also concerned as to what the twins were doing if the human thought them a danger to Ravage, but that was a topic for another day.
Ratbat's optics glimmered with interest, wings shifting as he poked his head out of his makeshift nest. "So, the human... protected you?"
Ravage's lip curled as if the notion itself was offensive. "He tried. He even guided us out of the town, ensuring more humans didn't see us."
Soundwave's visor dimmed slightly as he contemplated his next course of action. "Assessment: No further need for interaction," Soundwave said. "Soundwave: Will do research. Cassettes: must stay away until threat is determined."
The mini-cons sighed in annoyance, but it was necessary. Soundwave wanted more information before more cassettes got involved.
