"Whoa, we're am I, as I used my teleporting power and now I'm here on Earth. This is where my so-called dad lives as I've heard Eggman say but hope the humans here will accept me." a voice said. It belonged to a female ten year old hedgehog cub with brown-black fur with brown-redquills unaware her arriving here had tipped off GUN the people who put her dad in statis for fifty years making her anxious running from the soldiers into the woods looking for shelter finding a cave going inside breathing deeply seeing them go away relieving her. "Why were they chasing after me. I've done nothing wrong here." she mumbled.
Her name was Shadette or Shade for short and had been made in Eggman's lab as the daughter of the ultimate life form himself only the cub had found out Shadow was her actual father so had teleported herself into the woods of Green Hills to try and find her dad but annoyed she'd just gotten here and a bubch of humans were being hostile to her when they didn't know her just because of her dad but she hoped they wouldn't bother her again, if she entered the town and tried to find her dad deciding to spend the night in this cave, then start in the morning unaware Shadow had been flying around using his wings noticing GUN had been chasing a cub who had a Chaos Energy aura which made him curious.
That morning, he returned to his house, knowing Sonic needed to know somebody was squatting in his old cave landing at Tom and Maddie's house knocking on the door, as Maddie let him in making Sonic, Knuckles and Tails curious but Sonic's eyes widened after what Shadow had told him as they went into the woods entering soft snoring from inside the cave making both males exchange a look entering but Shadow's eyes widened seeing who the squatter was.
"Konnichiwa-what the heck, Shadow. It's a cub but it looks like you." Sonic blurted out.
"Daddy… I found you, or you found me. Who's that guy." Shadette asked.
"Okay… this doesn't make sense. We should take her with us." Shadow whispered making Sonic nod.
"My name's Shadette or Shaxe for short. Eggman made me to be your daughter but I escaped coming here expecting to find you, but this bunch of hostile humans chased me into the woods so I found this cave for shelter." Shade explained making Shadow sense she was telling the truth hugging her making Shadette choked up as they were leaving the cave but Shadette saw the Dark Rider her dad's motorbike making her smirk getting on the back as Shadow revved the engine leaving as Sonic ran onwards towards the town of Green Hills making Shadette nervous in case the humans here didn't accept her.
"They will trust me. They accept me along with uncle Soni, Knuckles and Tails." Shadow reassured her.
"I hope so." Shadette mumbled as they pulled up at his house making her surprised.
"Yep, welcome home kiddo. I hope we can bond." Shadow told her as they went inside. Shadette felt her stomach rumble as she was hubgry making Shadow smile because it was cute and sensed she was young finding cereal pouring it into a bowl but made coffee for her like himself being proclaimed the King of Coffee in Sonic's words surprising Shadette he was letting her have coffee because Eggman wouldn't let her have coffee making Shadow surprised.
"You're the ultimate life form, you can do whatever you want, Shade, right." Shadow said to her eating coffee beans amusing her.
"I'm ten years old dad, isthat okay if I call you that." Shadette asked in between bites making Shadow feel warm inside as he had wanted to be a father but afraid he'd screw up but Shadetre was his fur and blood so it would be okay. "Yes that's fine Shade." he said smiling but was tired after being up all night and then finding Shade had tired him out going to bed which she got hoping he'd feel better after waking up exploring and was watching TV but was hoping this place could be her home.
"So, Shadow found out he has a kid and she was squatting in your old cave. How do you feel about this." Sonic heard Tom ask.
"Okay as Shadow was surprised meeting Shade and hearing her story. She might be good for him but we should let her take her time." Sonic told him.
It was later that morning and Tom and Maddie had been curious, about what he and Shadow had been doing in the woods, surprised along with Knuckles and Tails that Shadow had a cub that had escaped from Eggman making them curious especially her name. They then were getting texts from Stone asking where Shadow was as Tom was texting him explaining that Shadow was home and that he'd discovered he had a cub making Sonic give him a look.
"Was that a great idea, dad. Shadow might flip, if Stone shows up. He's just getting used to being here and Shade." Sonic told him making Tom get it.
"Maybe Stone can be his human friend like Wade with Knuckles. We know Shadow likes guac like you." Tom told him making Sonic guess he had a point, as Shadow had bonded with Stone when he'd been with Gerald and Ivo so he'd be cool with Stone living with him and his newly discovered cub which Sonic hoped so getting ready to play some baseball making Knuckles fired up about this since Sonic had taught Knuckles and Tails to lay baseball after they'd became friends and family making Tom and Maddie exchange a smirk as they left the house with Ozzie since Maddie could walk the dog.
