I'm alive!
Hi everyone, just to update as you must have noticed by now.
That I am still posting and uploading stories.
The last year has not been easy at all, there were many things from my side that took away and almost destroyed any motivation or desire to write anything at all. One of the big reasons I was able to get back to all of the writing was because of 'JRC1700's' help. Thank you so much brother!
I also went through all my notes and stories, and I intend to update all of them. Yes, even the ones I haven't updated in a long time. I know you had to wait a long time for some of them and I intend to change that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the episode and the ones to come after.

Chapter 1: My First Job
"Another boring day… God, I wish something interesting would happen" a lone blonde teen muttered to himself, lingering outside the gymnasium until his friend finished her practice.
He wasn't really the kind of guy to wait around and focusing on the double doors felt awkward, his foot tapped against the floor. It wasn't like he couldn't see the appeal of staring at a bunch of cheerleaders jumping around, but it always felt a bit awkward when his best friend was among them.
'Come on… just a little longer…' he almost chanted out loud. It was the only thing keeping him at school, considering summer break had technically already begun.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the double doors opened up and girls started walking out. The first few slipped past him before he noticed the redheaded captain of the squad.
She ignored him entirely and kept moving and why wouldn't she? …after all, they barely even knew each other.
"Ron!" a familiar voice shouted, just as he noticed her walking out. Short brown hair, a bag hanging off one shoulder. "You didn't have to wait for me" she chided, approaching him.
"Bonbon… I wanted to go home and start summer break, but a certain SOMEONE insisted that I wait outside for some reason…" The blonde teen folded his arms, staring at her.
The brunette smiled and slapped his arm playfully, both walking towards the exit. "Sounds like someone is being a bit of a drama queen… and you wonder why you can't find a date…" she muttered quietly.
Ron glared at his childhood friend. "Ha ha, real funny… you need some new jokes. Anyway, what was so important that you needed me to stick around?"
Bonnie smirked and glanced to the side. "That's a secret… why don't we go to my house and I'll tell you?" the brunette offered.
The blonde shrugged, "sure. As long as we get out of here, I don't really care…"
As the pair left school, Bonnie rolled her right shoulder in obvious discomfort. "You okay there, Bonbon?"
The brunette nodded slowly before looking at him. "Yeah… our captain just felt the need to push us even harder than she usually does…" Bonnie answered, as if that explained everything.
To be fair, it did. Ron understood what his friend meant perfectly, although he didn't really know much about the captain except for what Bonnie told him. 'A red-haired demon that keeps pushing people away with how rude she is… Very difficult to get along with, despite being captain of the cheer squad and one of the real lookers in school' he recalled.
"You sure you still want me to come over? If you're in pain, we can always do it later-" the blonde Stoppable started to offer, Bonnie cutting him off with a stern look.
"No, you're not getting away mister! Tara already bailed on me because her leg still hurts… I'm not letting YOU off the hook!" the busty brunette insisted.
'So that's why I didn't see her…' Ron mused, thinking about his fellow blonde. Tara was a nice girl, more Bonnie's friend than his but they did talk from time to time. "Whatever you say, Bonbon…"
...
After some time the two made it to the brunette's house. As he entered, Ron glanced around the place. It really was like a second home to him, considering how many years they'd known each other.
"If you're looking for my sisters, they aren't home yet…" Bonnie glared at her childhood friend for a few moments and he sighed.
"Bonnie… for the last time, I don't have a thing for your sisters…" he replied tiredly.
The pair made their way upstairs, entering the brunette cheerleader's room. "Really? So why won't you say that when they're around?" Her hands rested on her hips, a judgmental stare aimed in his direction.
"Because it's embarrassing? Because they're YOUR sisters?" He glanced away from her, Ron couldn't help but think that both his childhood friend's sisters were drop dead gorgeous… Not that he'd ever admit as much to her!
Bonnie sighed, "whatever… In any case…" she sat on her bed. "Since it's summer vacation, I was thinking that we- …I mean you should join us on our annual vacation" Bonnie offered with a smile.
Ron's face dropped for a split second; he didn't really want to have this conversation, it always came back to the same problem… Bonnie and her family would invite him to join them for pretty much every holiday or place they went. Which was fine, and even fun, if it involved something simple… The main issue he had was that Bonnie's family was LOADED. That meant nearly every trip involved going to some five-star hotel, or a very secluded resort, and that just rubbed him the wrong way.
Unfortunately, Ron wasn't that well off… To make matters worse, his parents were barely ever around. As a result, he spent most of his time with Bonnie at her place (if she didn't invite herself into his room). Ron didn't resent Bonnie for it… but it did make him feel bad.
She quickly spotted the fleeting expression on his face, sighing in disappointment. "I take it you're busy, maybe have some plans?" she groaned, already guessing Ron's answer.
The blonde teen grasped for a suitable excuse that wouldn't make her feel bad. He did want to spend more time with Bonnie… but not as a tagalong. It might have sounded silly to some people, but to him it was very important.
But how could Ron join her? The simplest idea was to simply pay for himself, problem solved. Unfortunately, he was currently practically broke. Oh well, that was a bust- …wait, or was it?
The young Stoppable looked up at the brunette cheerleader, those fateful words spilling from his lips, "I'm thinking of getting a part time job…"
Bonnie looked confused, her head tilting to the side cutely. "A part time job? You?" she asked.
"Yep! I was thinking about it and… this just seemed like as good a time as any to give it a go!" he answered. Truthfully, the more he considered it, the more it really did seem like a good idea in the long run.

A few hours later found Ron back home. He was sitting in front of his computer, an old one for sure but it would get the job done.
The blonde leaned back after pulling up a few sites that SHOULD have helped him… but there was just one tiny issue.
"Need experience of at least- …great, another bust…" This was the fourth site, and yet another offer was off the table due to one of those pesky details. Every job opening came saddled with at least one ridiculous requirement, at this point it seemed hopeless.
"Oh man… if only I had some of these qualifications…" Despite how quiet the room was, Ron could swear he heard someone whisper into his ear. "Or… maybe I already do?" He straightened himself out before 'adjusting' a few details on his resume.
"And… done. Looks pretty impressive!" he remarked to no one. 'Too bad it's complete bullshit…' Ron mused, the thought lingering in his mind. The blonde boy ignored a stray twinge of guilt, sending off a copy to the first high paying offer he spotted.
"Now, all I need to do is wait…" The big smile on his face started to droop a little further with every passing second. "Shit… what did I just get myself into?"

Inside a heavily fortified, secret underground base a lone woman sat in her office. The room she was currently in had only one entrance, a heavy desk positioned directly in front of it. The thing was made of solid steel and hid a few surprises, just in case she was ever attacked here by a particularly foolhardy villain. She only wished that her latest issues could be solved by such simple means.
The door to her office beeped a few times before opening with a thrum of power, a tall young man entering the room with several folders in his hands. "Director, I apologize for disturbing your work but there are a few problems that need your attention!" the agent declared.
The director looked up from the already impressive pile of files taking up most of her attention, as much as she wished she could pass them off to someone else. There was no way she'd dump a critical, life or death decision on anyone else.
Battle reports, important documents, possible suspects, weapons to be tested, all some of the things she needed to look over and decide how to handle. And with how important it was to her organization, there was only one person she could trust with it.
The Director finished reading her current report before closing the folder and looking at the agent waiting patiently for her attention. "Yes, what is it?" she asked, her tone calm.
There was no reason to blame any of her agents for all the work there was.
He nodded and took a single step forward, saluting his boss before opening the files he held. "I have just received the new reports on those artifacts that were stolen, as well as a list of potential places they might be sold…" he passed a file to her.
She nodded and set it to the side, it was pretty much wrapped up. The only step left was sending out a few teams to try to locate the stolen goods.
A second file was opened, he started reading a document inside. "We also discovered another hideout of Drakken that's been abandoned… Our people arrived too late to apprehend anyone…" another file was added to the pile.
"We've received another request to send an agent to assist Miss Possible…" the words made the director sigh. Unfortunately, this was a recurring issue with the redhead.
A girl who seemed to be able to do anything, the only problem was that despite how good she was… Kim was still only one teenager. Of course the Director had offered an agent to help out, only to discover that said girl was impossible to work with. Too demanding, along with distrusting everyone she'd sent.
That one was also an easy fix, all Betty needed to do was assign one of her senior agents. It would have to be one that hadn't worked with Kim before. The Director just had to keep trying, hopefully she'd eventually find SOMEONE that would pan out.
…
The extra work kept piling on, ever more added to her to do list. Betty really looked like she needed a break, even as she continued listening to her agent.
"-then there is the matter of accepting new recruits, as well as the surveillance detail for that celebrity pop star" he concluded.
"The new recruits can be vetted after confirming they meet our criteria…" she responded easily. "I can test them myself, after you perform a background check… that should save some time." The only response she got was a fierce nod from her agent.
"Yes Director!" He exited the office, the door closing behind him.
…
The agent had taken to his task immediately upon returning to his station, scanning a dozen or so different names and sets of skills. He wanted to home in on anyone who could fit the organization and add them to their roster of active agents, they really could use all the help they could get.
Just recalling how swamped his boss had looked spurred him to search even harder for someone who could assist.
So much so that he jumped at all the promising candidates he uncovered, already starting to get in touch to add them to their team. 'I hope this helps her…' he mused.

Ron was just sitting in his room, still regretting what he'd done a short time ago. He nearly jumped out of his chair as a sudden ringing came from his computer's speakers.
"Wha-what?!" He glanced at a message on his screen that had just popped up. "Mr. Stoppable, we would like you to…" Ron mumbled to himself, his face sprouting a large smile. "Yes! Finally!" he cheered at his success.
Considering all of the openings he'd stared at today, Ron wasn't even sure which one this job was. But honestly? It didn't matter, he didn't care… If he put his all into this, he'd be fine.
X-=-=-=-=-X
'This is not fine!' the blonde screamed silently, horrified by what he'd gotten himself into.
Wearing a fresh suit didn't make him feel any better, it only proved just how much trouble he was in at the moment. Ron was sitting in the back of a large van, heading off to his first task alongside a few others. Every single one of them looked more confident and professional than he had at any point in his entire life.
Ron vowed to do the best he could and just avoid anyone identifying him as a fraud. 'Oh, who am I kidding? I give it ten minutes before they throw me out!' he wailed, his misery continuing to fester as they were escorted into a building.
The one leading them was an older man wearing the same type of suit, as well as an earpiece and sunglasses that obscured most his face. They arrived at an empty room, the door closing behind them.
The older man turned around and studied the group. "Alright, now that we've arrived, I'll be giving you your assignments… First thing's first, you've all received an earpiece and pair of glasses like mine…" He appraised their expressions before pointing to his own jacket inner pocket. "You will keep in contact with each other as long as you're on assignment… As fresh recruits, your mission is an ordinary protection detail…" He looked them over to verify that they'd already put on their earpieces and glasses before he continued. "We've received no information concerning any specific threat, this is strictly standard procedure…"
Listening to his apparent supervisor helped Ron calm down somewhat, if it was standard then surely he'd have nothing to worry about!"
…
After a few more minutes of briefing, they were all led to their VIP's room to get a feel for them as well as to inspect the area. Ron was already feeling stressed out from the briefing, just what sort of job had he applied for anyway? He was really feeling like a spy, or some sort of secret agent.
Which, admittedly, was pretty cool- if not for his rattled nerves. Ron could picture Bonnie's face if she saw him now, she'd probably laugh and declare that the look didn't suit him.
A door opened and they were face-to-face with a stunning young blonde woman, a big smile on her face… that vanished as soon as she saw them. "Oh great… you people…" she shuddered.
'Yikes…' Ron groaned silently, sure he wasn't the only one.
"Miss Britina… we have been sent here to protect you while-" Ron's supervisor started to explain, cutting off when the girl threw a cup on her desk at the wall.
"Oh please! Like I don't know that you're only here to make sure I leave your city in one piece, you just don't want to be blamed if something happens…" She scoffed and looked away from them. "Like I told you people before, I already have a few bodyguards… Why don't you do us both a favor and leave?!"
Ron could tell that the older man was holding himself back from getting angry, he wasn't sure he could've done the same. "Regardless… we have our orders."
"Fine… but you better stay out of my way" she bit out, the agents exiting her room.
There was a tense silence before their supervisor took a deep breath and then looked at his subordinates. "You heard her… she already has people watching her so we can spread around the building. But that also means that one of you…" he pointed at them, "will have to stay near this room… I'll let you decide who-" he explained before cutting off.
…
"This sucks…" Ron muttered quietly. The blonde teen wasn't very happy, he was the one stuck outside this door while everyone else patrolled the area. 'How was I supposed to guess that all of them would yell "not it" at the same time?!' He shook his head. 'Stop that… this is nothing…'
Ron turned around to stare at the door to the room where said VIP was, recalling the way she'd treated his supervisor and just how she might talk to him. 'Stop panicking… just go inside and make sure she's okay, maybe help her chill out?' the blonde Stoppable decided, opening the door and walking inside.
"Huh?"
Ron glanced over to see his VIP looking quite odd, her face appearing to stretch slightly in the middle of her cheeks. Her eyes seemed to run down, as well as the black makeup under her eyes.
She appeared completely frozen as he spotted her, holding her breath upon seeing the new face until she regained her composure. "What do you think you're doing?!" Her voice was angry and raspy, the rage in it quite clear.
'I made a big mistake!' the blonde yelped silently. It hit him a little too late that he didn't really have much experience with girls, plus his only good friend was Bonnie. 'I need an excuse to calm her down!' Ron glanced around, spotting a few water bottles on an end table before grabbing one.
'She was yelling a lot before and her voice was a bit raspy, maybe this will help?' he theorized, opening the container and rushing to give it to her. Ron's hopes were shattered as his 'Ron-ness' kicked in, making him trip. The contents of said bottle splashed all over the girl.
'Dammit! I'm definitely getting fired now!' he moaned internally, preparing to apologize when he heard that raspy voice once more.
"What did you- MY MAKEUP?! So, you figured it out?!" The girl's 'makeup' seemed to run… as did her entire face, making her look like a horror movie villain that was melting. "I guess I'll just have to take care of you too!" she screamed, rushing towards him.
Ron was seriously into horror movies, always able to watch one and be absolutely fine afterwards. As a result, he faced this challenge with a cool head and a calculating mind. "AHHH!" he shrieked in clear panic, diving to the ground in a split second.
And the monster? Was still charging, now but a breath away from reaching Ron. However, she never even suspected he would simply duck in response to her, the girl tripping over him and slamming into the wall at full speed.
The loud crash made Ron jump and shoot to the side, eager to see what happened. The woman? She appeared to have knocked herself out trying to grab him. But Ron wasn't fooled… In every horror movie ever, the monster or villain always waits to jump up for one final scare.
He wasn't going to get any closer to that! Ron slowly backed away from his would-be assaulter, bumping into something large and heavy laying on the floor. The blonde boy glanced down to see a sizable piece of luggage. 'Probably hers' he concluded, the bag twitching a bit. His curiosity getting the better of him, Ron crouched down and fingered the large zipper before slowly opening it.
He took a second to swallow the lump in his throat, praying that there wasn't anything he'd regret seeing inside. He spotted a pair of arms and legs, a blonde woman appeared to be tied up. There was a large piece of tape over her mouth, and a blindfold covering her eyes.
While she looked familiar to Ron, all thought escaped him as he pulled off the blindfold and her eyes suddenly stared into his own. While he needed to untie her quickly, Ron pulled the tape off her mouth as gently as he could. "Are you okay? he asked, starting to work on the rope.
"Y-Yeah… now that you're-" She started to cough, her throat currently raw and dry.
"Here, let me help you up…" the blonde boy offered, pulling the girl up as soon as she'd grabbed his hand. Ron finally realized that said blonde bombshell was actually their VIP, the same one who'd tried to tackle him… and was still knocked out against the wall.
"Wait… you're Britina… But then, who's that…" he whispered, pointing to the copy crumpled up on the floor. Ron quickly shielded the popstar with his body. "Watch out, it's a mimic!" he shouted, staring on in horror.
He'd seen WAY too many body snatcher movies to not freak out.
"That's not it…" Britina assured from behind him, moving to the body on the floor. Her hand grabbed something on the imposter's face before pulling back. To Ron's confusion, a piece came off.
"A mask?" he concluded, moving closer.
The girl nodded, staring at the suitcase that she'd been trapped in. "Yeah, I was getting ready for my show… I-I'm not sure what happened, but the next thing I knew I was trapped inside that suitcase until you rescued me…" The blonde bombshell stared at Ron, as if trying to figure out who he was. "And… you are?" she finally asked.
"Oh right, I haven't really introduced myself! Name's Ron… I'm a part of your added security team" he vaguely explained, honestly still unsure what his job description even was.
Britina looked confused, her head tilted cutely to the side. "You are? But I don't remember you… and I know everyone on my team…"
"Yeah… I was pretty quiet when I met you, our supervisor introduced us like an hour or so ago?"
"I'm pretty sure I was tied up at the time…" she explained.
"So, the one we met was…" Ron trailed off, staring at the imposter who was still out cold, pulling the rest of her mask off. It was a woman he didn't know, but apparently Britina had no such problem if her shocked expression was anything to go by.
"Camille?! she exclaimed.
"You know her?"
The VIP nodded and met his eyes. "She's my friend… We had a fight a while ago but… I never thought she'd do… something like THIS!" Britina spat, before she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay… we got her before she did whatever she was planning…" Ron tried smiling warmly, hoping to show her that she was safe now. What he got in response was Britina staring at him blankly for a few seconds, before a million-watt smile graced her delicate features.
"It was you, actually… You saved me, Ron…" Her voice held a very insistent quality that left the blonde boy glancing around uncomfortably.
"Uh… yeah, I guess I did…" He scratched his head before looking back at Britina, who was still staring at his face intently. "I-I guess I'd better call the rest of my team and let them know about this…"
Ron fiddled with his earpiece, fumbling with the button thanks to the intense look on the popstar's face. He was rarely ever on the receiving end of looks from girls, especially gorgeous ones like her.
Britina's hand reached out as she moved closer. "Let me help, here…" Now standing right in front of the blonde Stoppable, the singer noticed he was a bit taller than her. Her hand gently pressed the button on his earpiece, all while never breaking eye contact with him.
"Oh, um… hey guys? You're probably gonna need to come here…" Ron mumbled.
…
A few minutes later the rest of the team arrived to find the still unconscious imposter, as well as the real Britina who was sitting with Ron and talking to him.
Ron's supervisor took one look at the scene before he instructed two of the other agents to haul the intruder away, aiming a serious look at Ron as he moved closer. "Report…" he demanded in a gruff voice.
Ron was a bit worried, unsure of what to say. Normally he would have understood what the man wanted, but the look on the senior agent left him far too nervous. The blonde teen felt a hand on his shoulder, he glanced over at the smiling face of Britina.
"I think he wants you to tell him what happened…" she quietly advised.
"Oh, r-right! Ron took a second to recall everything that had occurred before he spoke. "I found out the VIP was replaced by a lookalike that took her place before we arrived, it's a woman named…" he struggled to remember.
"Camille Leon…" Britina whispered in his ear.
"Camille Leon… She's a friend- well, a former friend of the VIP who tried to take her place. She attacked me when I challenged her… then I found the VIP tied up inside of that bag-" his explanation was cut off by the gorgeous blonde next to him.
"You can call me Britina…" the girl insisted, as Ron tried to focus on the man in front of him.
"…and I called you when I found she was out cold…" Ron finished, waiting for the man's response.
The older agent seemed to understand something, "it happened before we came you say?"
"Yeah, the one who 'greeted' us was the imposter…" Ron clarified. The older men appeared to relax a bit, it seemed that their little introduction had honestly been bothering him.
"I see… well, I don't think I can say anything other than great job for your first mission!" the senior agent declared, turning around to make a call.
Ron breathed out, stress draining out of his body at seeing that he was still in one piece as well as having maintained his cover. At least until he felt someone tuck something into his hand. Ron opened his fingers to see a slip of paper with a number written on it, the words 'call me' and a small heart under it.
He turned his head to stare at the teen pop sensation. Britina looked to the side innocently… before glancing at Ron and shooting him a saucy wink.
'Oh boy…'
