Author's Note: Hey, everybody, and welcome! I'm here with the certain crossover fanfic that's been on my mind for quite some time - "The Fairly OddParents" and the "Winx Club" in "The Fairly Odd Winx Club".
As some of you may have know, I thought of that crossover way, WAY back in 2014. It was a fun and imaginative idea - the whimsical chaos of Timmy Turner, Cosmo, and Wanda teaming up with Bloom and the rest of the Winx Club. The comedic and mischief of 'Fairly OddParents' getting mixed with the enchanting adventures and vibrant characters of 'Winx Club'
But inspired by and a big thanks to the crossover fanfics by authors Epiclot214 and Iron117Prime that follows the canon story of your favorite show with added different characters from another franchise, I decided to push the reset button to start all over again. Now, this crossover will follow the story of "Winx Club (2004)" with the magic and characters of "The Fairly OddParents (2001)".
So, if you're a fan who likes 'The Fairly OddParents', 'Winx Club', or both shows involving fairies, or you're just into crossovers, then this very crossover - The Fairly Odd Winx Club - is the one for you!
But before we go any further, let's go over a few minor details:
*Like I said before, this crossover follows the story of the show, 'Winx Club', but with the magic and characters of another show, 'The Fairly OddParents', so I might be covering ONLY Season 1 of 'Winx Club' for now.
Then who knows? Maybe in the near future, I might be covering Seasons 2-3 and its CGI/3D movies, 'Secret of the Lost Kingdom' and '3D Magical Adventure', since it revolves around the Ancestral Witches...or not if I don't have the energy.
*This is ONLY a Crossover Alternate Universe (CAU) between "The Fairly OddParents" and "Winx Club". In this fanfic, Timmy Turner is being forced to be relocated and transferred out of Dimmsdale, leaving everything he loved behind, and into the city of Gardenia to try starting a new life until he and his fairies - Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof - find themselves thrown into a whole new, magical world unlike any other, the Magix Dimension, where they now tag along and work alongside the Winx Club and the Specialists in their adventures.
So, again, this crossover will follow the same plotline from Season 1 of 'Winx Club' with Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents from 'The Fairly OddParents' joining in on the fray, along with some references, elements, and nods to only Seasons 1-3 and 6-7 of their show, along with Wishology.
*This crossover ONLY falls under the trope of 'Crossover Alternate Universe', 'Alternate Timeline', 'Fusion Fic', 'Canon Welding', 'Adaptation Amalgamation', and much more!
*Some FOP characters might be mentioned and/or referenced, but they will NOT appear in this crossover. Sorry!
Anyway, with all that being said, let's enjoy this story full of magic, wonder, romance, suspense, epic battles, and friendship. I hope everyone enjoys this crossover because I've put a lot of thought - like a LOT - into how these two shows intertwine, creating the engaging, dynamic impossible of a world, where anything can happen.
So, without further ado, "The Fairly Odd Winx Club" starts NOW! Any and all comments (on the story) are welcome.
Disclaimer: I do not own "The Fairly OddParents" and/or "Winx Club". They both respectively belong to their respective creators and owners.
Once upon a time...
Over a hundred millenniums ago, there was nothing more than an empty void unseen by the living eyes in the farthest reaches of the deepest darkness of the universe. Suddenly, a dazzling, bright light appeared in the form of a fiery orange lava-like reptilian being with a yellow aura - the Great Dragon.
Using its fiery breath, the Great Dragon created all life, light, and heat across many different worlds, becoming a place beyond time and space where anything is possible. It became known as the Magic Dimension. Once the Great Dragon was exhausted, it chose to lie down and rest on a planet called Domino. The Great Dragon's fate was unknown, and its power and essence became known as the Dragon Flame.
As time passed, seven ancestral fairies crossed over from the realm of legends. They spread their magic throughout the Magic Dimension when they reached one planet - Earth. As the magic of the ancestral fairies flourished on Earth, it caught the attention of another magical realm high up in the heavens, Fairy World, and its supreme rulers, the Fairy Council.
The Fairy Council and the Ancestral Fairies became allies and shared their worlds and rules. Both would be surprised to know that before long, their two worlds became part of the Magix Dimension in a neighborly way.
But soon, a battle raged between the goodness of light and darkness of evil as it flared and spread far and wide across all the Magic Dimension. Even Fairy World caught wind of things and joined in the fray. Just when things were at their darkest hours, a new light of hope appeared to give rise to a new age of heroes. It started with the greatest warriors, sorcerers, fairies, and witches assembled - the Company of Light.
The evil forces of the Ancestral Witches - the first three witches born into the Magic Dimension recruited by the Shadow Phoenix - began to invade Domino and its kingdom, Sparks, to seize the Dragon Flame...that resides within a baby girl. Daphne, the first-born child of the King and Queen of Sparks, gave the power of the Dragon Flame to her sister and sent her to the one place where the Ancestral Witches wouldn't find her - Earth.
But while that was going on, the victory of the Company of Light carried a heavy price. The entirety of Domino became a lost and abandoned, cold planet. And the Ancestral Witches were swept away to the Obsidian Dimension, where they will never be seen again.
As for the baby girl? She grew up on Earth, in the city of Gardenia on the coast of California in the USA, under the care of adopted parents. And it is around this young, ordinary girl that this story begins to unfold, with new challenges and adventures awaiting her at every turn.
Her name was Bloom, and this isn't just her story. It's also the story of a certain pink-hatted boy with a heroic, magical side of him that nobody ever knew and how their unlikely friendship would change everything.
It was another lovely day in the city of Gardenia, California. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing.
In her bedroom full of sketches and clothes, Bloom was in her bed, snuggling in the covers. Next to her on the floor was a half-opened book. Her adopted mother, Vanessa, entered the room and gently shook Bloom, who was sleeping.
"Wake up, sleepy head!" Vanessa said. "The sun's been up for ages."
"Mmh... Just five more minutes, Mom...," Bloom replied, still sleepy.
"You're going to be late for school."
"School!?" Bloom exclaimed as she bolted out of bed to dress herself in a flash. "Why didn't you wake me up before?! Oh, the alarm didn't go off! I can't believe this!" Then, she looked at the clock, realizing something. "Wait a minute... Hang on a sec, school's out, and the alarm didn't go off. It's summer vacation!"
Bloom turned to Vanessa with an unamused face. "Mom, your joke isn't funny."
"Ah, but you fell for it, didn't you?" Vanessa replied with a giggle. "I had to wake you up somehow!"
"That's it, I'm going back to bed," Bloom said as she jumped back to bed.
"Well, it's your fault for staying up so late last night," Vanessa said. "Speaking of which, why were you up so late?"
"I was up reading," Bloom mumbled as Vanessa picked up the book beside her.
"'Fairies: Myth or Reality?'" Vanessa read the book's title. "Pretty silly stuff, Bloom."
"It's not silly!" Bloom said, protesting.
"If you say so. Now, how about getting dressed? I need help in the shop today."
"Ugh..." Bloom groaned as she looked at her fluffy, blue-and-white pet bunny, Kiko. "Tell her 'No' for me, Kiko!"
Bloom got out of bed and headed to the kitchen with Kiko to find her adopted father, Mike, with his newspaper and a cup of coffee in hand.
"Morning, sunshine!" Mike smiled at Bloom.
"Morning, Dad," Bloom said. "Dad... I can't possibly spend my summer working at the shop! I wish I could go somewhere fun with my friends."
"When you're older, you can go wherever you want," Mike gently told Bloom. "I promise I'll let you roam free as you wish."
"But how old is older? I'm already sixteen years old."
"Only sixteen... You're still my little girl. Listen, we'll all go to the beach in a few weeks like every year."
"But all my friends go on holidays alone," Bloom replied. "Besides, a road trip with them sounded like an awesome gift for the summer."
"Speaking of gifts," Vanessa smiled. "Your dad and I have something for you."
"You bet we do!" Mike agreed. "Something to zip around Gardenia on!"
Bloom gasped excitedly. "Really? Thanks, Dad!" She ran through the kitchen and opened the front door to go outside, only to find...
...a red bicycle.
"Nice, huh?" Mike beamed as he and Vanessa joined Bloom.
"Yeah, thanks...," Bloom said, trying to sound cheerful.
"Just take a ride and learn to appreciate the beauty of life."
As Bloom walked the bicycle away with Kiko, her adoptive parents looked on.
"See? Bloom doesn't know what to say," Mike said to Vanessa.
"I don't know," Vanessa replied. "She was expecting something a bit more...sophisticated?"
"A bicycle with a speedometer?"
"A scooter, Mike!"
"But scooters are dangerous, and they cost a bundle."
"Still, Bloom is sixteen, and she's growing up. Try to put some money aside, and maybe we can get her one next year."
In an entirely different house in Gardenia, in a bedroom filled with comic books, action figures, and other cool stuff, a young, pink-hatted boy was snuggling in bed, snoring and ignoring the sounds of a bright morning. Next to him was a fishbowl on a small dresser where three little goldfish lived.
But he wasn't just any pink-hatted boy - he was Timmy Turner, an average kid.
And they weren't any three little goldfishes - they were Cosmo, Wanda, and baby Poof, Timmy Turner's fairy godparents.
"Ready, Cosmo?" Wanda asked.
"Ready, Wanda?" Cosmo answered.
Wanda then turned to their fairy baby. "Ready, Poof?"
"Poof-poof!" Poof answered happily.
"One," Cosmo and Wanda counted in unison as they and Poof changed into their fairy forms. "Two, three! Wakey-wakey, Timmy!"
Timmy bolted out of bed, screaming, but was surprised to see his fairies. "Cosmo? Wanda? Are you crazy?"
Wanda rolled her eyes. "You're still in bed and in your pajamas and asking if we're crazy?"
"Crazy with excitement!" Cosmo exclaimed. "It's summertime!"
Wanda looked out the window to see Gardenia with a smile. "Gardenia is still beautiful as ever, isn't it, Timmy?"
Timmy looked out the window as well...but with an unhappy look. "Yeah, sure. Yippie."
Poof looked at Timmy, confused. "Poof-poof?"
Wanda noticed Timmy's unamused look as well. "All right... What's wrong? I thought you liked Gardenia."
"Yeah," Timmy replied. "But I didn't think we would actually move and live here!"
"And why not? I heard Gardenia is lovely this time of year. Name one thing you missed back at Dimmsdale that you can't find here."
"Oh, I don't know, friends," Timmy began.
"A nickel," Cosmo joined in.
"Acceptance and popularity."
"A shiny nickel."
"Trixie."
"A shiny, boy nickel."
Wanda signed in dismay. "You're joking, right? We've got the nicest town in Gardenia to explore, and all you can think about is some old memories!? I mean, Cosmo, I get it... But you, Timmy? Come on!"
"Look, guys," Timmy Turner said to his fairies. "I know moving here was way too good to be true, but it's hard for me to start all over again. I mean, leaving everything I loved in Dimmsdale behind and be the new kid in Gardenia? It's nuts."
As it turns out, Timmy Turner could not have been more right or wrong. Ever since being moved away and transferred from his home in Dimmsdale to Gardenia, he just couldn't think of the words. He was going to leave everything he know and love behind - his old house, his old school, his favorite places to hangout, his best friends Chester and AJ, his backup friends like Sanjay and Elmer, his crush Trixie Tang, and the rest. But at least on the bright side, he and his fairies won't have to deal with enemies like Vicky, Francis, Crocker, Dark Laser, and even Foop.
Now living miles away from Dimmsdale in a new, different city that is filled with unknown places and no old friends to help him get through it, Timmy Turner is still bummed out as he felt like his whole life had start over from scratch...and now he had to create a new one for himself.
"Well, think of it as a second chance, Timmy," Wanda said, trying to lift some spirits. "Because I looked out the window, and do you know what I see?"
"The sky falling," Cosmo guessed.
"No! I see fun, adventure, and an endless opportunity to try and discover new things and meet new people just waiting for us."
Timmy and Cosmo looked at each other and said in unison, "Right..."
"So, quit moping around, Timmy. It's still summertime, and I think it's high time we give Gardenia a proper introduction. Just try to see the bright side."
Left with no choice, Timmy signed as he got out of bed and got dressed. "Fine, I'll try. Let's just get this over with."
Bloom rode her bike to Gardenia Park and stopped to lean it against a maple tree as Kiko hopped out of the basket.
"This sure is a beautiful park," Bloom said. "Peace and quiet is just what we both need. Right, Kiko?"
Kiko nodded in agreement.
"Okay, Kiko, go on and stick around, alright? Don't go too far."
As Kiko bounced toward the woods, Bloom settled onto the ground and munched on an apple.
Why won't Mom and Dad ever understand?! Bloom thought. I really want them to stop treating me like a little kid! I'm no longer a little girl. I've changed and all grown up!
While Bloom was lost in her daydreams, she didn't notice someone else was at the park, too.
Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof appeared in Gardenia Park in a puff of smoke.
"It sure is a beautiful day," Wanda remarked.
"Remind me, Wanda, how is a visit to the park supposed to make me feel better?" Timmy asked.
"I just thought we had to brighten up our horizons," Wanda replied. "Plus, I thought it'd be a perfect place for a little picnic."
"Could've told you that before," Cosmo said.
"No, you didn't."
Timmy shrugged, thinking a little grub of a picnic will help feel better. "Well, in that case, I wish we had a picnic basket."
Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof lifted their magic wands, and an enormous picnic basket full of delicious food appeared, along with a picnic blanket.
"Now, this is a picnic!" Timmy said. "But after this, we're still returning to our new house."
"Don't touch my wienies!" Cosmo exclaimed as he grabbed a basket of cocktail wienies and dug in. "Hey, that could be my new catchphrase."
Just then, Timmy and his fairies heard a scream nearby. They all looked toward the sound and saw that it belonged to a blue-and-white bunny with floppy ears standing straight with fear.
"What's up with him?" Timmy asked, referring to the bunny.
"I don't know, but we better check it out," Wanda replied.
"You're right, let's go."
As Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof headed deeper into the woods, the blue-and-white bunny, Kiko, hopped toward Bloom in fear.
"What's the matter, Kiko?" Bloom asked as Kiko led her back into the woods. "Did you see one of those scary squirrels again?"
Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof entered the secluded part of Gardenia Park, only to find a battle going on between a girl about Bloom's age with long, blond hair and wings on her back wielding a tall rod scepter against a band of red creatures and a big, yellow ogre wearing brown overalls.
"Aaahhh, what are those things!?" Timmy Turner asked, pointing at the red creatures.
"I don't know, Timmy," Wanda replied. "But I get the feeling they're not from here."
"We don't know who they are or how they got here, but they seem to be after that girl."
"They better not touch my wienies!" Cosmo said as he received an unamused glare from Wanda.
Timmy Turner was about to go help the girl when Wanda stopped him. "Wait, Timmy!"
"Why?" Timmy asked. "I thought this whole 'fun, adventure, and endless opportunity' thing is what you dragged us out here for."
"It is," Wanda said. "I just thought you should make a big entrance."
"Right..."
Bloom and Kiko entered the clearing as well to witness the battle. "Did you see that, Kiko?"
The winged girl fought off the creatures bravely, facing them and the ogre. "You don't scare me, beast! You will feel the magic of the Sun and Moon Fairy!"
"That girl's a fairy!" Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof gasped in surprise.
Just then, the yellow ogre charged into the blonde, fairy-winged girl as she plummeted to the ground. "Your time is up, fairy! Ghoulies, get the scepter!"
The Ghoulies pin down the girl, and one took the scepter from her and gave it to the ogre.
"I'm warning you," The girl growled. "You'll never get away with this!"
"I think I just did," The ogre sneered as he loomed and towered over the girl. "The scepter's ours, and you're history."
"Hey!" A voice appeared.
The ogre turned to see...Timmy Turner.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!" Timmy said to the ogre.
Just then, Bloom stepped in, joining in the fray. "And let that girl go!"
Timmy Turner turned to see Bloom. "Hey, I saw him first!"
"Then, it's your lucky day, kid," The ogre laughed. "Because we ought to show you how dangerous we are." He called out his Ghoulies. "Teach these two a lesson!"
"No, teach them a lesson, Timmy!" Cosmo exclaimed as he and Wanda changed into green and pink lightsabers for Timmy to grab and use to fight the Ghoulies.
But as one of the Ghoulies was about to attack, Bloom threw up her hand, and a flash of light appeared out of her hand and struck the creature down.
Bloom was surprised, and so was Timmy. "What just happened? How'd I do that?"
"I was asking the same thing," Timmy replied.
Kiko did his happy victory dance until he noticed one of the Ghoulies behind him.
"Hey, Ghoul! TAKE OFF!" Bloom roared as she used a long, giant stick to swing at the Ghoulie and send it straight into a tree.
Suddenly, the ogre clutched Bloom from behind. "Wrong move, Earth girl!"
But then, something crazy happened - a tornado-force wind of a flaming dragon whirled around Bloom, and its magical fire knocked the ogre flat.
Feeling exhausted, Bloom fell down to the ground as Timmy Turner ran up to her. "Whoah, are you okay?"
"Yeah, thanks," Bloom said to Timmy, nodding.
The strange, winged girl called herself Stella, picked up her scepter and turned to Bloom. "Thanks! And that was an amazing fight! You got some major winx!"
"Me? What do you mean?" Bloom asked Stella.
"That was fairy magic. You're loaded with it!"
"Me... A fairy!?"
Before anyone could speak more, the ogre growled as the Ghoulies helped him.
"Growl and laugh all you want, you fashion fiasco...," Stella said to the ogre as she held her scepter and aimed it at him. "You're going down."
"Hey, save some for me!" Timmy said as Cosmo turned into a bazooka. Together, Timmy and Stella blasted the ogre away with their weapons.
"You haven't seen the last of us yet!" The ogre retreated and vanished into thin air, along with his remaining Ghoulies. "We'll meet again."
"Well, that was weird," Timmy said to his fairies as he noticed Stella collapsing, and Bloom caught her in her arms.
"We better get her home, Kiko," Bloom told her pet bunny. "This girl needs help..."
"Say, uh, since you seem to know what you're doing, mind if I leave this one to you?" Timmy asked Bloom.
"Uh, sure. What's your name? I'm Bloom."
"Timmy Turner. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd better be heading home," Timmy said, then he muttered to himself, "As if being moved here wasn't enough, now I don't need red monsters and a yellow ogre on my tail."
"The what was enough?" Bloom asked in confusion.
"Nothing, totally nothing! I'm sure you can manage."
As Bloom ran back to her bike while lifting the unconscious Stella, Timmy talked to his fairies. "I wish we were back home."
While Bloom took Stella to her home and Timmy Turner and his fairies poofed back to their new house, the ogre and the Ghoulies were surrounded by darkness and stood in the spotlight as they reappeared in the Magic Dimension in a secret, hidden place.
The ogre's mysterious bosses were not happy as three sets of glowing eyes appeared before him.
"So, Knut, you have failed?" The first boss with icy blue eyes asked impatiently.
"B-But it wasn't my fault, your highness!" Knut, the ogre, tried to explain. "I had the scepter in my hand, but then this earthling girl and boy appeared and messed everything up."
"An earthling girl and a boy?" The second boss with electric, yellow eyes.
"Oh, but they were not your ordinary earthlings," Knut continued. "The girl was super-powerful and fought with flames, while the boy was wearing a pink hat and had green, pink, and purple creatures with him. They pushed back my ghouls just like that."
"Interesting," The first boss said. "At least you described them. And where are your glasses?"
Knut pulled out his glasses. "Right here, Your Highness."
The second boss sighed in dismay. "A near-sighted ogre is ridiculous."
"Well, he did wear his glasses. He'd be fine," The third boss with sinister, purple eyes said.
"Will you stop defending him?"
"An ogre with glasses looks kinda lame," Knut said.
"Quiet!" The first boss silenced Knut. "That girl could mean something to us. But the boy with the pink hat, on the other hand..."
"Wait, Your Highness!" Knut halted as he pulled out a piece of Bloom's pants. "One of my ghouls grabbed a piece of the girl's cloth, which might be a clue...to a hunting troll."
As if on cue, a giant, blue troll appeared and sniffed a piece of Bloom's cloth.
"See?" Knut smiled.
"Good. Good!" The second boss said. "Now then, go back to Gardenia and find the earthlings, and this time..."
"Don't let us down!" All three bosses yelled at Knut in unison.
Knut the ogre nodded with a nervous smile.
