A year has passed since the failed attempt of Gehennas gate. thankfully not a lot has happened at true cross academy. The academy was rebuilt and classes resumed. Mika Kurogana, having attended that academy for a year now and already is lower 2nd class rank exorcist has gotten the headmaster's attention. For she has been paired up with non-other than Rin Okamura for a project worth a good chunk of their grade along with the possibility of moving up a rank. Known from the beginning Rin is a wild card, who acts before he thinks Mika is not happy about the switch but refuses to take a failing grade reluctantly agrees to the switch of classes.
This fanfic is based off the first two seasons of the show. I have not watched anything further than Yukio unlocking his demotic powers and the failed attempted at destroying the Gehenna gate. if something doesn't add up with the current shows storyline that is why.
