Hello! I hope you guys had a great new year so far with your friends and family.
I have been holding up for this chapter. Things in my life have been hectic in the past month, my sweet brother who we're inseparable since kids is moving to his own house to start his life, me and my mom are also looking for a house for us and my dad, and I'm still looking for a very first job, but still no luck. I think those managers in my city are being so asinine for not giving the first time candidates a chance to advance their careers.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter. There will be some mishaps and some fluff between Flora and Adrien.

Chapter 5: The Bubbler
Normal POV
Dupain-Cheng House; Marinette's room
Morning, Marinette is sleeping on her bed while Tikki was sleeping on her holder's stomach and then is woken up by her alarm clock on her cellphone.
She wakes up and makes Tikki go flying, "Huh? Happy birthday- ow! (jumps down the stairs and hits her mannequin) Happy birthday! (she twirls around and sits down on her swivel desk chair gets on her computer and turns it on, revealing her desktop background to be a collage of Adrien Agreste's pictures with hearts around them) Aw, Happy birthday, Adrien. (She makes kissing noises towards the screen)"
López Estate Mansion; Flora's room
Sleeping on her bed, along with Kammah next to her, Flora was snoring away with her mouth open and her left arm over her forehead.
Her alarm went off with one of her favorite salsa songs and shot up with a yelp, her hair braid flips up; her hair braid is normal without volume and it was held with a white nylon thread elastic hair tie secure at the end. She was holding her comforter blanket with both hands close to her while looking curiously around until she realize what today is.
"It's his birthday!" Flora exclaimed.
With a big smile on her face, she quickly toss her blanket which made Kammah underneath yelped. Kammah crawled out of there, "What do you mean?"
"Happy Birthday!" Flora shouted then giggled as she moves to her left where the empty area was, which she have something to put there.
She had a big tall tiered metal plant stand with grow lights, half heart shape. She doesn't have any flowers of her own yet, but on the two racks in the middle of the heart, there's a small curtain of flowery vines with different flowers and every flower vine was being hold on a string at the ends of the two racks. She moved the vine curtains in the middle with both hands and reveal a photo frame of Adrien with a small shelf below it.
Flora smiled at the photo then bends down and pick up a small flower ball bud vase of buttercups. She placed on the center of the shelf in front of the photo before having her hands intertwined.
Kammah zooms over to her side as she looks at the flowers, "Wow, they are pretty, but why small of the flowers?"
"Well, of course they are small, but they are special. Buttercups symbolizes joy, youth, purity, happiness and of course, friendship. It can also mean playfulness, cheerfulness and sunshine, which reflect the bloom's happy appearance. And, I feel that Adrien is the same way." Flora said as she smiled fondly at the flowers and the photo.
"I thought you said yellow roses means friendship." Kammah spoked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, yes, but all yellow flowers mean friendship." Flora said, smiling at her kwami who smiled back at her. "Okay, time to get ready for school."
They walked away for them to get ready to start their day, but before that, Flora blew a kiss with her hand at the photo, smiling at it once more.
Adrien's bedroom; his bathroom
Adrien is brushing his teeth in joy to start the day to celebrate his birth. Plagg flies over to him.
"Happy birthday, Adrien!" Plagg said while bringing a piece of Camembert cheese wrapped with a red bow as a gift.
"Ugh, Plagg! Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face! (plugs his nose)" Adrien disgusted.
"Huh? (eats the cheese) Mmm." Plagg eats the cheese gift and rubs his swollen belly.
Moment later in the Agreste Mansion. Adrien is eating alone at a big dining table. He looks sad as he was hoping for something that he wanted the most in his special day.
Nathalie walks in to pass his schedule in a tablet to him, "Your schedule, Adrien."
"Thanks, Nathalie." Adrien said as he takes it, but before Nathalie starts to leave, he spoke to her with his face lights up. "Hey, um, my father get back to you about my birthday party?"
"Well, um- He doesn't think it would be a good idea." Nathalie hesitated.
Adrien's face turns sad once more and speaks softly, "'Course not."
"Happy birthday, Adrien." Nathalie said and leaves the dining room.
So much for hoping to have an actual birthday party.
Outside of school
Adrien and Nino are talking. Meanwhile, Alya and Marinette are hiding nearby out of sight behind the balustrade. Chloé and Sabrina are in the school but near enough to see what's happening.
After passing the Boulangerie Patisserie and crossing light, Flora was walking on the sidewalk towards the stairs to the school's entrance. With her backpack on her back, she is hugging her 5.4 x 8.4 small rectangle birthday gift for Adrien close to her chest with both arms, the gift is wrapped in royal blue paper with lime green satin polyester ribbon bow tied around it.
As she continues walking, she saw Adrien and Nino talking and she stops with her curious look, "Huh?"
Nino speaks while he blows bubbles, "Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little."
"No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then too. Well, at least I tried." Adrien said.
"(wraps one arm around Adrien) It's your b-day, dude! Insist!" Nino persistently said.
A little far from them, Flora heard their small conversation and starting to get nervous.
"Do you think he'll like the gift, Kammah? Because, pretty much he had everything that he wants. Video Games, Watches, Jackets, Sport balls, and so on." She softly said.
Kammah peek her head out from her owner's behind neck with a smile, "Like it? He will love it."
"Are you sure? (moving her gift to hold it in her hands as she look at it) This novel is popular and it's filled with historical romance, but also action and mystery, I'm not sure if he's the reader type of proper romance."
"Flora, you never know unless you try. No matter what gift you give him, he will take it as the thought that counts." Kammah said, giving her support.
The brunette looks at Adrien, then takes a deep breath to calm her nerve before hugging the present again in her arms, and walks elegantly to them, but before that she could, she spotted Marinette and Alya hiding. She walks over to the girls with her curious eyebrow raised.
"You can do it, you can do it!" Alya said as she is encouraging her BFF.
"I can do it, I can do it!" Marinette said to herself with determination.
"Do what?" Flora asked out of nowhere.
Marinette yelped and turned to the brunette then relax to see her, "Oh Flora, good morning! Um you see, I have a gift for Adrien and I..."
"You're too scared to give it to him, I can tell. But, good thing I'm not the only one who is nervous." Flora smiled coyly.
"Oh! Who knew? hehehe." Marinette sheepishly said. "Oh, I see, you also have a gift for him."
"Yes. If you want, I could just give him my gift so you can take a little time to prepare yourself." Flora kindly suggested.
"Yeah, thank you!" Marinette pleadliy thanked.
Flora nod and smile to her then heads over to the boys. Without knowing to the dancer, Marinette groan with a sad frown as she is disappointed of how she didn't have an easy confidence.
The brunette continues to walk elegantly before Nino notices her walking towards him and Adrien. He smirked then give a nudge to his bud's arm.
"Look up, man. Here comes your girlfriend.~" Nino teased.
"Nino! She's not my girlfriend!" Adrien whispered to him, his cheeks tinted pink.
"Yet." Nino chuckled.
"She's just a good friend for now." Adrien said as he glared at him before smiling towards the dancing girl.
Flora just stopped in front of them with a sweet smile, "Uh Hola. (Hi.)"
"Hi Flora/Hey dudette." The boys greeted.
"What's all the commotion about a party?" Flora questioned.
"Well, I always wanted to have a birthday party, but..." Adrien explain to her, before give himself a frown.
"But?" Flora said for them to continue.
"Daddy-O said no, as always he mentioned." Nino complained.
"Always? (gasps) You mean, you never had a birthday party?!" Flora said in shock.
"Mm-mm" Adrien shook his head.
"How could he do this to you?! Everyone deserves a birthday party." Flora said as she gently wave her hand for gesture.
"That's right! (turns to Adrien) And you know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops." Nino confidently said.
"What?!" Flora exclaimed.
Surprised, her gift almost slips from her arms, but she catches it and bring it up to give a good grip on it.
Adrien just frown once more that he knows his father very well, "Don't waste your time. He's not gonna change his mind."
"Yes, uh Nino, right? I don't think it's such a good idea, my dad told me once that Mr. Agreste can be uh...bullheaded." Flora nervously said.
Adrien almost snicker at her last word, but doesn't convince Nino to change his mind, his instincts gets the best of him. Marinette saw how Adrien is sad and she's afraid that she will make it worse by confronting him.
She pops up to look at Adrien while he's not looking and then went back down, "I can't do it, I can't do it!"
Alya facepalms, "Uh, no you don't, girl. You've been stalling all morning. Now's the time."
She pushes Marinette over to Adrien, which Flora saw that and gives the blogger that 'Stop being a pushover' look.
"Ah!" Marinette stops right next to Flora and in front of Adrien. She gets nervous as she holds her gift behind her back. "Um, he-Hey!"
Adrien was surprised, but shyly said and wave, "Hey."
Chloé, as she watches what's happening outside before angrily turned to her 'BFF (Slave)', "Wait! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Don't tell me it's Adrien's birthday?!"
Sabrina checks her phone of her schedule, gets surprised, and makes excusing noises while smiling sheepishly.
Chloé facepalms, "Ugh, do I have to do everything myself? Seriously, what are you good for?"
As she walks toward Adrien, Marinette and Flora tried to talk to Adrien, but Marinette nervously babbles her words while the brunette tries to correct her with a nervous smile.
"I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make-(Flora bumps her hip against her friend) I mean, gift you a give I made-(Flora bumps her hip again) dah! I mean..." Marinette babbled.
"What she is trying to say-" Flora said.
Chloé yawns while Marinette is talking and then shoves her and Flora together away, "Out of the way." (she acts sweet) Happy birthday, Adrien! (throws herself onto him and gives him a kiss on the cheek) Mwah!"
"Yeah, thanks Chlo." Adrien sheepishly said as he was surprised by that move of Chloé and slightly moves her away from him.
Marinette limply sitting forward on the ground, to mumble herself, "Dummy."
Flora was laying on her back next to her while having her right arm that is holding her gift in her right hand over her eyes in a dramatic posture, also mumble to herself, "Moron."
Alya facepalms again to her BFF.
"Did you get the gift I sent you?" Chloé flirtly questioned.
"Uh, no." Adrien answered with his eyebrow raised.
"What? Oh, those delivery guys. (Adrien listens to her with a confused glare) I bet it was too heavy so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers. (wraps her arms around Adrien's shoulders again) I'll make sure they get it to you by tonight. (gives him another kiss on the cheek) Mwah!" Chloé pretending to be annoyed, before leaves, humming a happy tune to herself.
Nino chuckles and playfully punches Adrien's arm, making him happy. Marinette already crawls back over to her hiding place with Alya and she feels more depressed after her clumsiness move. Adrien then remembers that Flora is still on the ground and he rush towards her to give her a hand.
"Are you okay, Flora?" Adrien said in worry.
"Yes, I'm fine." Flora replied as she took his hand to be pulled up and dust herself.
"Sorry about Chloé, I don't know what's gotten into her." Adrien said as he takes a quick look at the sight of his childhood blonde friend.
"It's okay, but by the look and way she was acting, I think she forgot your birthday and not even have a present for you." The brunette said.
Adrien frown at her statement as he thought the same thing. Flora then squeeze her gift a little in her arms while being nervous of his reaction when he will open her gift. Meanwhile, Alya still trying to support Marinette of her embarrassment from before.
"Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!" Alya loudly whispered.
"(sounding defeated) Mmm." Marinette groaned as Alya looks frustrated.
Taking a deep breath, Flora regain her confidence and smile, "Hey um I-I have something for you and uh-ahem...(slowly stretch out her hands with her gift) Happy Birthday, Adrien."
Adrien gaped at the sight of the present in her hands then looks between it and Flora with a deep red blush on his cheeks. He never thought that the girl he adore will give him a gift on his birthday.
Seeing the blond boy frozen still, Nino seen his look while standing next to his buddy and smirk at him.
"What are you waiting for, dude?" Nino said with a wide smile, nudging his elbow to Adrien's arm. "Take the gift and say thank you."
Adrien snapped out of his trance while shook his head, "Uh um thank you, Flora."
As he takes the gift from her, he unwraps it while Flora shyly looks down. He gasped at a book novel he receive: The Gentleman and the Thief, by Sarah M. Eden herself.
He remains silent with a surprise expression which made Flora to worry if he did not like his gift.
"I knew it." She said in remorseful. "If you don't like the gift, I could get you another one better, like a wrist watch or-"
"No! (he shouted, but it made Flora flinch, so he calmly rephrase his words) I-I mean, I love it. The truth is... I've always wanted to read this. I read all the book series of The Dread Penny Society, except for this one, book #2. I've been looking for it in book stores everywhere, but they're sold out everywhere. How did you find one?" Adrien explained before became ecstatic.
"Um I found it at a book store up at the edge north of the city. I got the last one before someone else could." Flora explained when she is now calm.
"Well, you're so lucky you got the last one in time. Thank you, Flora, I really love it, and I can't wait to read it tonight." Adrien sincerely said.
"Uh you're welcome." Flora said as she had pink shade blush cheeks and shyly looks down. "Before, I thought about getting you Gangster Squad book, but I hopefully thought you would like this one."
"I would like to read that one as well, but The Gentleman and the Thief is better that I could of given. Wait! You know Gangster Squad?" Adrien said then later got surprised.
"As a matter of fact, yes, I watched the movie of it. I love the 1940s, it's one of my favorite eras." Flora said.
"You watched it? Me too!" Adrien said in excitement. "Maybe... you and I could watch it together."
"Uuuum?" Flora said before looking at Marinette on the corner of her eye.
She sees her still in a shame position, but maybe getting Adrien to watch the movie with Marinette will be the perfect solution to get them on a date and to get him to know Marinette more.
She finished, "Maybe, if you have one day available from your schedule."
Flora then secretly wink at Marinette to let her know what she is doing that involves her. The baker girl smile a little, but keeps herself hidden.
"C'mon, you can do it." Alya said, nudging her fist to Marinette's shoulder.
Marinette looking determined, "Hm!"
But just as she stood up, a limousine arrives to pick up the birthday boy.
"Gotta go. Photoshoot." Adrien softly said. "And Flora, thank you again for the gift."
"You're welcome." Flora said while looking down and tapping her left front toes of her show flat behind her other foot.
He smiles at her before sadly gets into the limo and leaves. Flora can hear the girls' conversation.
Marinette said poorly to herself, next to Alya, "Why can't I just mean what I say?"
"Uh, say what you mean?" Alya corrected her.
"Exactly." Marinette pointed out.
While they are discussing for plan B, Nino still wanted to convince his buddy's daddy-o to give him a party.
"Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man." Nino said to himself.
Flora sharply turned to him with a surprise disbelief, "Nino, you can't be serious! You have no idea how Mr. Agreste can be, even I haven't met him yet!"
"Don't worry, dudette, I got the skills of solving problems." He carelessly but proudly said.
"That's what I'm afraid of." She muttered herself, slowly shaking her head in disappointment of him.
"Everything's going to be fine, you'll see." Nino said before walks away to his destination.
"Wait! Um may I join you later? Just to give you company?" Flora sheepishly said.
"Well, I don't need a back up, but you can come if you want. I'll meet you later then." Nino said with a smile and leaves.
"Yes, later." Flora replied with a wide smile.
But as soon as Nino was out of sight, the dancer's smile slowly turned into a worried frown.
Outside the Agreste Mansion
Marinette, Alya, and Flora stand at the gate. Marinette is struggling as she tries to open the mailbox.
"This mailbox won't budge!" The baker girl said.
"Ring the doorbell. (points to the doorbell)" Alya said with a knowing smirk.
"Are you kidding? What if Adrien answers the-" Marinette said.
Flora interruptedly spoke to her, "Actually, Adrien is still at his photoshoot, so I'm pretty sure-"
Suddenly interrupted once more, Alya rings the doorbell and Marinette panics and screams.
"Alya!" Flora yelled in upset disbelief, her hands were clenched a either side of her hip.
"What?" Alya carelessly said with a teasing smile, her hands were gesturing upwards of 'So what?'.
"Ugh! Ay..." Flora groaned with her right hand slappily covers her eyes.
A hidden compartment on the wall opens and a camera appears.
"Yes?" Nathalie spoked.
"Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class and I, uh-(shows the gift to the camera) Heh, did I already say that? Umm... (she looks more nervous) Heh... (smiles awkwardly)." Marinette nervously said.
Flora then move next to her to see the camera and placed her hands on her friend's shoulders, "What my friend here is trying to say is she has a birthday present for Adrien Agreste and she wants to deliver it to him."
Marinette gave her a thank you wink which Flora return of her own.
"Oh, put it in the box." Nathalie finished as the mailbox opens.
"Uh. (puts the gift in the mailbox before it shuts itself, almost could crush her fingers) Thank you! (The camera retreats and wall compartment closes) Oh! I hope he likes it!" Marinette said.
"You signed the note, right?" Alya asked.
But due to Marinette makes a surprised face, Alya and Flora sighed.
"Ah, girl, girl, girl." Alya muttered with a amused smile and her hand on her temple.
"Seriously!?" Flora exclaimed in disbelief once more.
Marinette groans while threw her head back.
Flora continued, "How could you forget to do ONE simple task?! And it's signing your name!"
"I'm sorry, I was a little preoccupied." Marinette sheepishly said as she rubs her behind head with her hand.
"Yes and by preoccupied, you were once again daydreaming your future with Adrien." Flora replied with upset face and arms folded crossed.
"Eh hehehehe, just a little bit." Marinette said with her thumb and index finger to be close together.
Flora just sighed before she can spoke to them, "Listen, why don't you two go have lunch and I'll meet you this afternoon at school."
"Okay." They said then walks away from the gate to their homes.
Flora sees them walk away and then she shook her head in amusement for Marinette to be so forgetful, "Ay ay ay, Marinette, cómo pudiste olvidarte de firmar con tu propio nombre en tu regalo? (Oh oh oh, Marinette, how could you forget to sign your own name on your gift?)"
"Maybe she was overwhelm on how will Adrien will react to her gift." Kammah said it after popping up on Flora's shoulder.
"Hehehehe, she is so like me whenever I feel overwhelming to perfect my impression around new people or my dance moves to perform." Flora fondly smiled as Kammah nodded.
"Hey dudette!" An exciting familiar voice called out.
Kammah squeaked before dash to hide in the dancer's hair, Flora turned and sees Nino heading her direction.
"Hi, Nino." Flora greeted.
"Ready to get the party that Adrien always wanted?" He questioned.
"Uh... I guess." Flora uncomfortably replied.
"Great! (he rings the doorbell)" Nino grinned.
"Nino, please reconsider. There must be another way to give Adrien a party." Flora worriedly begged.
"And we're gonna get one by talking to his father." Nino said, ignored her warning.
"(Sigh) That's not what I meant." She mutters to herself.
The camera pops up again from the wall compartment and Nathalie speaks, "Yes?"
"Uh, hi." Nino waved at it.
Flora then move next to him to see the camera again, "Hello, again."
In the next moment, while inside the Agreste Mansion, Nino, Flora, and Nathalie are standing in the foyer, waiting. Flora was amazed as she looks around at how the mansion looks like inside, she can tell that the Agrestes are upper class, consider that Miguel, her father, told her about their lives as young adults.
But the portrait of Adrien and his father; wearing all black, above the staircase has to go, it makes the foyer look like a funeral home.
Her big family portrait is way better than that. Seeing a sad Adrien in the picture, her heart was fallen down to her stomach as how his life been treated by his father.
"He'll be here in a minute." Nathalie informed.
As Nino patiently pumps his bubble wand, Flora was nervously fidgeting the bottom hem of her slim fit long sleeve off-shoulder top, she knew that this is going to end bad from her gut.
Gabriel enters on top of the staircase with his hands behind his back, "Adrien's not home yet."
Flora softly gasp at the first sight of Gabriel Agreste, the famous fashion designer, himself.
'So that's Gabriel Agreste, my father's old friend, hmmm he looks a little... boot-faced.' Flora thoughted.
"Uh, I was coming to see you, du (Flora nudge him hard with her left elbow)-uh sir.
"Me?" Gabriel said in surprise, raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah, that's right. Look, I know you don't want Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday, dude (Flora nudge him hard again then give Mr. Agreste a nervous smile)-I mean, sir. It's all he wants." Nino said, trying to convince him.
"No. (raises his palm hand) That's final." Gabriel declared.
Nino groans and Flora then tried to pull him with her hands on his arm so they could leave.
"Okay, Nino, you got your answer. So, let's go before we're late for our afternoon class." She quickly said.
But Nino just gently snatch his arm back and keeps persistently talking to the fashion designer.
"That's messed up. (Adrien enters without anyone noticing, he's surprised to see not only Nino, but Flora here in his home) He never screws up in class, he always does whatever you tell him: photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano-" He said as he counted the activities.
"Nino? Flora? You're here." Adrien spoked.
"(to Adrien) Anything for my best bud. (then back to Mr. Agreste) Show some awesomeness, du-I mean, sir, please." Nino replied.
Mr. Agreste looks at him with a scowl. Flora flinch a little before giving herself a whimper and bow her head as she covers her eyes with her hands.
"This is so embarrassing." She whimpered.
Adrien's frown appeared then place his hand on Nino's shoulder, "Forget it, Nino. Really, it's fine."
"Listen, young man. I decide what's best for my son. (Flora looks up) In fact, I've just decided you're a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now!" Gabriel angrily proclaimed.
"Eep!" Flora yelped in fear of the man's outburst, she rush over to hide behind Adrien with her hands on his shoulders.
"Father, he was just trying to do something cool for me." Adrien said, implying.
But Mr. Agreste leaves and Nathalie steps in front of the teens, "Goodbye."
Angry Nino and concern Flora starts to leave, but...
"Wait!" Gabriel called.
The two teens stop when they thought he leaves immediately with Flora had her back in front of him, but for Nino, he turned quickly with a eager grin to think that Gabriel change his mind.
"Yes?!" Nino grinned.
"Not you, coward." Gabriel sternly said.
Nino's face quickly turned frown with a groan.
"You. Young lady." Gabriel called.
Flora flinch that he is referring to her. So, she slowly turned her head and half of her body and see him looking at her.
"Yes?" Flora nervously answered.
"What is your name?" Gabriel asked.
"Um, Flora... Flora Beaulieu-López." Flora said her full name as she introduced, sort of.
Gabriel raised his eyebrows in wonder then lower them, "You wouldn't happen to be related to Miguel López, the perfumer and florist?"
"Y-yes. He's my father." Flora replied, her eyebrows furrow in anxious.
The cold-hearted fashion designer has his eyes widen a little before returning them to calm but firm.
"Hmm... you look so much like your mother." He spoke with no emotion to show.
Flora softly gasp in surprise at his comment. And with that, Gabriel leaves, leaving the dark brunette gaped 'Wha-'. She continues to look at him until he disappears, it left her with bewildered thought.
'How does he know my mother?!' She thoughted.
Nino was more disbelief that Mr. Agreste only return a positive complement to her instead of him for being a bad influence, he then left with a disappointment, but Adrien and Flora catches him outside the front doors.
"Nino, wait! I'm sorry. My father-he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way." Adrien frowned.
Nino becomes furious to learn that Adrien's father is colder. He even thinks that Flora's mother is possibly cold-hearted too.
"It's not fair, Adrien! Harsh, uncool." Nino exclaimed.
"But-" Adrien said with his hand raise a little.
"And you! (points at Flora) I bet your mom was even colder since she's nowhere around you!" Nino angrily exclaimed.
Flora gasp in shock and covers her mouth while Adrien, in shock as well, placed his hands on her shoulders and yells, "Nino!"
Nino humphs before crosses his arms and leaves, leaving Adrien looking sad and Flora's eyes glimmer in still shock.
"Thanks anyway, Nino." Adrien sadly said.
After Nino walks down the stairs, Adrien rubs Flora's shoulders in comfort as she is heartbroken.
"Don't listen to him, Flora. I'm sure he didn't mean what he just said, he just... not in the good mood after what happened with my father." Adrien softly said to her.
"Yes... maybe." Flora sadly said, looking down. "Even though I tried to warn him about Mr. Agreste, but he didn't listen, he can be so... no offense... negligent."
"It's okay." Adrien gently smiled.
"Nevertheless, I might as well go home, I have enough of inaccuracy for one day." Flora stated.
Adrien removes his hands from her shoulders and look at her as he stood next to her on the side, "I'm sure things will get better later or tomorrow."
"I hope so." Flora said with a unsure frown.
She then walks down the stairs without letting her friend see a tear rolled down on her cheek. Adrien watches her leave, he is concern about her well-being, seeing her like this makes him just want to hug her so badly.
López Estate Mansion; Dining Room
One hour had passed and Flora is still not taking too well after Nino's outburst. She is sitting at the end of the long dining table, behind the tall arched window, and eating chorizo potato-parsley tortilla.
"Por qué la gente no tiene autodisciplina? (Why do people get no self-discipline?)" Flora sadly said as she moves the small pieces of potatoes from the tortilla with her fork to shape into a heart.
"No sé, cariño, algunas personas son así. Incluso uno de tus primos. (I don't know, sweetie, some people are like that. Even one of your cousins.)" Monica replied, standing a bit far, and taking a drink of passion fruit juice.
"Argh! But that isn't fair for him to go this far without listening to his heart." Flora said in frustration while mashing the heart shape potatoes with the fork.
"Ay! Parece que ese chico Nino es un idiota, debería haber escuchado tu advertencia en vez de hacer el ridículo delante del Señor Agreste. No sé por qué tu primer amigo, Adrien, anda con él. (Ugh! Sounds like that Nino boy is an idiot, he should've listen to your warning instead of making a fool of himself in front of Mr. Agreste. I don't know why your first friend, Adrien, hangs out with him.)" Monica said while shaking her head.
"Porque, Nino es su primer amigo. Adrien nunca tiene amigos, como yo. (Because, Nino is his first friend. Adrien never has any friends, like me.)" Flora said as she finished her lunch, picks up her plate, and heads to the open doorway kitchen that is connected to the dining room.
Monica open the tall arched window to let some air, "Por qué me sorprende? (Why am I not surprised?) Well, maybe he should of get to know Adrien before he-Waaaah!"
Flora heard a scream, dropped her wash plate, and rush out of the kitchen. She sharply gasped as she sees her aunt is taken away in a green bubble.
"Tía! (Auntie!)" She runs to her to try to grab the bubble, but it flew away through the window along with Monica. "TÍA! (AUNTIE!)"
And to make things much worse in her horror, she sees her father in another bubble, "Papá? (Dad?) Papá! (Dad!)"
Flora, horrified, stands in front of the window with her hands on the sill. Then she saw purple bubbles appear in the sky, broadcasting a message from the Bubbler.
"What the..." She softly said.
"Today is your lucky day, little dudes. The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun, fun. This is The Bubbler's gift to you." The Bubbler reported.
"That villain is taking adults away?!" Flora said as Kammah zoom out of her hiding.
"Now that's an improper manner to take away parental guidance." Kammah said while looking at the bubbles that the adults are held captive.
"Yeah, but right now, I have to save my dad and aunt. I've already had a gone mom and I'm not gonna lose another family member! Kammah, let's-woah!" Flora exclaimed.
But just as she was going to transform, a bubble gobbled her and Kammah up. Then she was floating out of the window, Kammah held onto Flora's hair until she gasp at the sight she saw and hide. Flora was curious at why her kwami hide all of a sudden, but once she turned her head in front of her, she gasp as The Bubbler himself appeared at her sight.
"Hey, dudette! So glad you could join the party that I invite you!" The Bubbler happily said.
"Wha-Nino?!" Flora said in surprised.
"Call me The Bubbler for now. Look, I know what I said about your mom is very wrong, but forget about that. Now that I found you, we can finally give my buddy the best birthday party he will ever had for the first time! Boy, he'll be so happy when he sees you in his crib. But first, I've got some other invites I need to do." The Bubbler said.
After he left, Flora's bubble fastly float over to the destination of the party. As she was levitatly sitting, she quickly grabbed Kammah into her hands and held her to her chest.
"Woaaaah, hang on, Kammah!" Flora exclaimed in fright.
She and her kwami were screaming of how fast they're going.
Agreste Mansion; Dining Room
Adrien eats lunch alone in the mansion's dining room. Once he finishes his meal, etiquettely wiping his mouth with a tablecloth, and gets up.
"Wow. That was a birthday lunch break to remember. Yay!" He sarcastically said before leaves the room with his school messenger bag.
He walks into the foyer and stops when he notice everything is quiet, "Nathalie? Father?"
With no response, he shrugs sadly, then walks outside to a crowd of his classmates cheering with a party that is set up; the DJ booth and buffet table.
"Yay! Woo! Happy birthday!" The teens cheered.
Adrien was surprised to see this then saw someone above him.
"(standing on top of a bubble) Hey, hey, hey, birthday boy. Guess what? Daddy's gone. While the cat's away, the mice will play." The Bubbler said.
Adrien looks at the Bubbler with a strange expression until he realizes who he is.
"Nino?!" He shocked.
"The Bubbler's brought all yo homies together for one single-sole purpose, to ce-le-brate!" The Bubbler stated.
"YEAH!" The crowd teens cheered.
"And I also got a birthday present for you, birthday boy." The bubble villain said.
He blew a short whistle between his two fingers and a bubble that is holding Flora floated towards him and Adrien. She had her hands on either side of the bubble while still looking around and being frightened for the bubble stop to be seen above Adrien.
"Flora!" Adrien yelled in shock.
"Now you'll get the chance to celebrate your b-day with a special girl you like." Bubbler said, teasing his eyebrows up and down.
Flora's bubble slowly floated down to the ground as she softly whimper, "Woah, oooh."
The bubble popped and Flora fell on the ground for her to groan of the painful bum while rubbing it, she even give the villain a glare. No man should treat a lady like that.
The Bubbler jumps down from the bubble into a DJ booth.
"Let's get this party started!" Bubbler exclaimed.
Everyone cheers. The Bubbler plays party music, and people start to dance. As Flora stands up and dust herself, Adrien looks surprised and runs back into his house.
"Huh? Adrien?" Flora called, looking at the empty spot he left.
"Come on, everybody, I brought you here to party!" Bubbler called as pan over the teens dancing, but looking sad. "So dance or else you'll join the adults up in the sky! Hahahahahahahaha!"
Then bubble fireworks are shooting in the sky.
While Flora worriedly brainstorming on how to fix this mess and get Nino back to normal, Kammah popped her head from her hair braid and looks at The Bubbler.
"You need to transform, Flora!" Kammah said to her owner.
"I can't, Kammah, The Bubbler got a hawk eye on everyone, including me. For now, let's just play along until he doesn't notice we wander off." Flora said to make it clear.
Adrien's room
After closing the door, Adrien looks at his ring in concern, and Plagg climbs up to his shoulder.
"What's your problem? Relax! You're getting the party you've always wanted." Kwami of Destruction stated.
"But Nino's been akumatized! I've gotta help him!" Adrien worriedly exclaimed.
"You may never get this chance again! C'mon, let's have a little fun while your father's away! Then we'll save Nino, trap his akuma, and all will be good." Plagg replied with a smirk.
Adrien turns and looks sad and unsure at first, but knowing that Plagg has a point for this, this is the chance he gets to enjoy his birthday party on his own freewill.
"Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once." Adrien stated with a clever smile.
"Yeah!" Plagg agreed.
"And the best part is..." The sunshine boy then spoke softly.
He runs over to one of his tall windows, places his hands on it, and looks through it to find something... or someone, only to quietly gasp with a smile at the person he so much want to enjoy with.
The screen pop to reveal the party below then later zoomed to the beautiful dark brunette who just stop at the buffet table.
"Flora..." Adrien softly said with an affection.
The background has turn into pink with sparkles and bubbles, Flora gently smiled as she picked up a chocolate chip cookie and takes a bite. She then release a satisfied moan as she chew with a wide smile while her eyes are closed.
Adrien stares at her as he was wanting to be near her, "She's here... at my party."
All he ever wanted was to get know more about her and if what Miss Bustier said about Flora being full of surprises is true, then he wants to see it for himself.
With a determine smile, Adrien was bound to be with Flora and maybe to tell her his feelings, "This is my chance to make an impression!"
"Now that's what I'm talking about! Now go get your girl, Casanova!" Plagg exclaimed with a grin as he floats next to Adrien.
The blond teen model ecstatically left his room to head back to the party.
Meanwhile on the rooftops, Ladybug is running towards the fireworks she saw.
"It's you and me, Bubbler." Ladybug said to herself before she leaps some more rooftops.
Back to the Agreste Mansion, everyone is dancing and Adrien is enjoying himself as he is dancing.
"Yeah! (walks over to a sad-looking Rose) Hey, nice party, I guess, since it's my first one." He said in a good mood.
Rose smiles and gives him two thumbs up, then keeps dancing and looking sad. Adrien turns around and sees everyone dancing but with a grim expression. He begins to worry about them until his worriedness carries away when he sees Flora standing alone and watching the teens somberly dancing on the side. He smiled once again at the sight of her and took a deep breath to make his move.
He walks over and stood next to her, "Um, hi Flora."
She turned in surprise, "Oh hi Adrien, are you enjoying yourself?"
"Yeah, I am, but... is it me or does everyone seem a bit weird?" Adrien asked in curious.
"I agree. Seems to me that they're worried about their adult family being taken away as they are being force into this party by Bubbler. I just hope my father and aunt are okay." Flora worriedly said as she has her hands clasps together close to her chest.
Adrien frown at her as he thought that she will be all alone. She already had an absent mother, he can't stand by seeing her more suffer without the rest of her family.
"Don't worry, Flora, I'm sure the heroes of Paris will be able to fix this and bring the adults back." He said with a smile to cheer her up.
Flora has a small smile as she feels better from his comforting.
Nearby, Chloé is motioning Sabrina to do something near the DJ booth.
"I'm requesting a slow dance." Sabrina said quietly but frightened.
"It's a bit early for that, isn't it?" Bubbler teasingly replied.
"Ugh. (shoves Sabrina down and puts on an innocent face) It's for Adrien. His first slow dance. Mm?" Chloé said as she makes a sweet face.
The Bubbler raised his eyebrow at her in curiosity then looks up to see Adrien and Flora looking at each other. In his bubbly mind, a lightbulb would appear above his head then slowly smirk.
"OH! You know it, girl." Bubbler said with finger guns at her.
He changes the music to a slow dance. People pair up, keep dancing, and looking sad. Adrien notice the music and sees The Bubbler who nod a gesture to Flora with a grin to make a move, the blond boy blushed at it then slowly turned to face the pretty Hispanic brunette.
"Um, F-Flora?" He said as he rubs behind his neck.
"Yes?" Flora said, turning her head to him.
"If it's not too much to ask, w-would you...like to dance with me?" Adrien nervously asked.
Flora surprisingly gaped while had her cheeks turned pink, but she's not the only one, Adrien's cheeks have change the same color as well. He then slowly held up his right hand to her, Flora looks at it and him of his eyes then flustered as she slowly raise her left hand. At one inch of their hands closing, the two of them are so content that they are going to experience their first touch, but unfortunately, out of nowhere, Chloé shoves Flora to the ground then the dancer girl just slide over underneath the buffet table.
"Forget about her, Adrikins, she's probably have two left feet, let's go dance! C'mon!" Chloé carelessly said before grabbing his hand and pulled him to the dance area.
Underneath the table, Flora lays there with a deadpanned expression while Kammah floats above her head, "That's the second time she shove me! (raising her index finger) One more strike and she's out! Literally!"
Cut to the balcony, Ladybug watches the Bubbler going to change a record and Chloé and Adrien are dancing, well for Adrien, he's leaning his head back as his childhood friend leans her head on his shoulder. Flora, still underneath the table, lift the table cloth with one hand and sees them. Then, Chloé was going to kiss him, but Adrien looks uncomfortable as he leans his back more. Ladybug and Flora looks aghast.
"Oh no you don't!" Flora angrily growled.
"There is no way this is happening." Ladybug also angrily muttered. "Lucky Charm!"
The Lucky Charm superpower gives her a record, "A record?"
Ladybug uses her Lucky Vision, it shows her the empty record spot in the DJ mixer, the volume modifier, and a ledge on the Agreste Mansion building. Ladybug chuckles, then throws the record. It hits the ledge, bounces over to the DJ booth, hits the volume all the way up, lands on the empty spot and begins to play dance music again.
Everyone breaks their pairs and keeps dancing. Adrien sheepishly moves away from Chloé. The Bubbler realizes that the music changed.
"Dude! Who just hijacked my mix?" The Bubbler complained.
"Yours truly." Ladybug sassed before her earring beeps. "Better bug out quick before I change back to normal."
She jumps off of the balcony without knowing that Flora saw her stunt and all she say is...
"Well, for once, I'm gonna have to thank Ladybug for that stunt she pulled. Even though that was COMPLETELY unjustifiable." Flora said with a frown as she looks at the empty balcony. "(Turned to Kammah) But it should give us some time to think of a plan to take down Bubbler and bring the adults back."
She exits out of the table and brushes dust off of her, then looks around to see if she can find a much safer place to transform.
Then suddenly, Marinette enters the party and starts looking around. She heads to the food table, grabs some cookies, and puts them in her purse for Tikki.
"Boy, she has lots of cravings for sweet treats, almost like me." Flora said when she sees Marinette secretly put some cookies in her purse.
"I've got to find a place where I can transform, fast." Marinette whispered to herself.
Just then, Flora stood next to her, "Well, guess I'm not the only one with a sweet tooth."
"Dah!" Marinette freaked then calmed. "Flora? What are you doing here?"
"Oh! I don't know I was swept away from my home in a bubble by a villain who HAPPENS TO BE YOUR OBLIVIOUS DJ FRIEND OF YOURS THAT HE TOOK ADULTS AWAY, ESPECIALLY MY DAD AND AUNT!" Flora spoked playfully and calmly before blow a fuse.
With a fright blank face, Marinette blinked her eyes and try to console her, "Um, any idea what made him this way?"
Flora sighed and cross her arms, "He tried to persuade Mr. Agreste to give Adrien a birthday party, but things went how do you say 'south', Mr. Agreste said no, and Nino keeps talking to reconsider. I tried to warn him about Adrien's father and what did he do? Nothing and ignore me! Let alone how he insulted about my mother and how she wasn't there for me."
"Oh Flora..." Marinette felt sympathy for her new friend.
"I hate to say it, but Nino is being an idiot. He didn't listen to my warning, rush off to make a fool of himself in front of Mr. Agreste, and possibly got banned to visit this house when Adrien's father consider Nino a 'Bad Influence'. How could I consider him as soon-to-be friend of mine?" Flora frown in disappointment.
"Uh um Nino is a lot of things, but he is not an idiot. He's just... doesn't learn much when people say no is no, I'm sure he didn't mean what he said to you. He's just being a (pinching her thumb and index finger) little pushover that's all." Marinette sheepishly with a small smile.
"Yeah, like Alya." Flora said with a sad pout. "And speaking of..."
"Where have you been, girls? I was so scared something had happened to you two." Alya appeared to them.
"Me too!" Marinette sweetly said as they hug.
"I'm sure Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus will show up in a minute to save us all. They never failed us. Meanwhile, come with me, I've got something for you." Alya commented before she walks away.
"Uh, there's something I've got to do first." Marinette nervously said as she moves away a little.
"Y-yeah, s-so do I." Flora stuttered as she nervously smile and look each corner of her eyes.
"It's about Adrien." Alya tauntingly singed.
Marinette blinked and reluctant for the sake of her love, "Okay."
"You're not seriously going into the private property mansion, are you?" Flora panicked.
"Don't worry, It'll only be in sec." The bluenette said and follows the persistent blogger of a BFF.
She runs after Alya. Flora distressly sigh at them and thoughted as she follows them inside, 'Why do they have to be so... headstrong?'
Cut to Nathalie Sancoeur's office. Alya and Marinette sneak in at the door, Flora were behind them. They see Marinette's gift on Nathalie's desk.
"Look! Now you can sign your gift." Alya tells her BFF.
Marinette gasps, "Ah, yes!"
As she enters the office, Flora was nervously rubbing her arms while keep looking at the entrance double door, "Ladies, I don't like this. What if we get caught?"
"Don't worry, relax, it's only gonna be a minute to sign her name." Alya looks back at her with a smile.
"... please hurry up." Flora groaned before walks to the double door.
She opened a little to take a look at the party and then saw Ivan not dancing and The Bubbler advance to him then suddenly trapped Ivan in a green bubble.
Flora gasp then looks back at the girls before she quietly exit and hurries to the side of the mansion. Once everything is clear when she looks side to side, she lift her french braid with the back of her hand and Kammah zooms out.
"I think I've been waiting too long thanks to Alya." Flora frown at one side.
"Well, she is your friend and friends were always there for each other." Kammah stated.
"Alya? A friend? More like an acquaintance. Besides, I barely know her, I'm still composing to see if she is right to be my next friend." Flora said, raising a serious eyebrow. "But I'll see about that later, right now, It's time to crash the party!"
"You know the words." Kammah smiled, shrugging her little shoulders.
"Kammah, let's howl!" Flora called out her phrase and transform into her canine heroine.
Meanwhile, back at the office, Marinette is still writing her note on her gift.
"Love, Marinette. There." She said aloud to herself.
She sticks it to the present and gives the present a kiss.
Tikki pops up from her purse, "Right, we're good. Spots on, Marinette."
"I can't do it now, Alya's here." Her holder whispered.
Alya ask at the door, "What'd you say?"
"Go ahead! I'll meet you in the yard." Marinette said as she gesture her hands.
Alya leaves and Marinette lets out a sigh of relief. Behind her, Ivan can be seen in a green bubble floating in the air through the window.
"No! You were right, Tikki, I never should've waited this long." She panicked before she runs to find a place to transform again.
Back at the party, Adrien is on top of the DJ booth and has a mike.
"Hey, Paris, how you doing?" He ecstatically spoke through it.
He raises the mike in excitement, but the people don't respond. The Bubbler, behind Adrien, threatens everyone with his bubble sword, and they forcibly cheer. Adrien jumps off the booth and smiling Ladybug can be seen on the roof.
"Ladybug?" He said.
Then, Luna Lupus drop by next to Ladybug and stood proudly with one hand on her hip.
Adrien gaped in surprise, "Luna Lupus?!"
"Hey, birthday boy." Luna Lupus kindly smiled and give him a wink.
Adrien blushed at the sight and shyly wave at her.
Ladybug throws her yo-yo. It hits the power strip and unplugs everything. Ladybug retracts her yo-yo, but before she can speak, Luna Lupus unleashes her whip and hit at the record stylus, making a funny record scratch effect across the record.
Luna Lupus retracts her whip and laughed, "Hahahaha, I've always wanted to do that!"
Ladybug giggled at that funny stunt as well before facing the villain, "Sorry, Bubbler, but the party is over."
"Why you two gotta be like that?" The Bubbler complained.
"You made all the adults disappear, that's why! And now you're imprisoning anyone who isn't having fun." Ladybug replied.
Chloé snuggles on her childhood friend's arm, but Adrien, frustatedly, removes her from himself and runs into his house.
"You will not bust up my party!" Bubbler exclaimed as he takes out his bubble sword.
"Your party? It's the birthday boy's party! Hmph, and to think that you made this celebration for your 'dude', which most likely it's about you and absurd freedom!" Luna Lupus angrily stated.
He angrily casts two bubbles at her, which she deflects with her spear. The crowd scatters.
Cut to Adrien in his room, he runs into the place as he release Plagg who is still dancing in his own groove.
"I think I've been a complete idiot." Adrien blamed a little. "Plagg, claws out!"
After he transforms into Cat Noir, we're back with the gal heroes and The Bubbler fighting. Luna Lupus keeps trying to hit him with her whip, although, he blocks with his bubble sword. Ladybug throws her yo-yo at one of his bubbles, but it just bounces back toward her. Cat Noir enters and hits the yo-yo with his staff, and the yo-yo goes up in the air.
"Looks like I made it just in time." Cat Noir
"I had it under control, (the yo-yo falls on Cat Noir's head when she pulls it over back to her), but thanks." Ladybug smirked.
Seeing his funny face after getting bonk by a yo-yo, Luna Lupus giggled at him with her free hand. Cat Noir hears it like a beautiful melody and smiles fondly.
Bubbler sneers at the heroes, Hawk Moth mind link to him: (from his lair) 'Get the Miraculouses. I want those powers, NOW!'
The Bubbler throws a stream of small red bubbles to the hero trio, and they fight, block, and flip around to defend them with their weapons. The Bubbler grin, snaps his fingers, and the bubbles turn green and start circling around them, some sticking to them which made Luna Lupus freak out a little as she waves her arms hard until they are both captured in one big green bubble.
Ladybug struggles against the bubble while Luna Lupus tries clawing it but not one single pop as the Bubbler laughs.
"Give me your Miraculouses before you run out of air." He said.
"Dream on, Bubbler." Ladybug argued.
"Never gonna happen, Bub!" Luna Lupus argued as well.
"Total party poopers, just like adults." Bubbler complained.
"Kids need adults." Ladybug and Luna Lupus exclaimed unison, surprisingly look at and smiled each other before turned their heads with glare at the stubborn blueman.
"False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose and live it up. Adults are controlling and bossy." Bubbler carelessly stated.
"That may be true, but adults keep children safe and protected! (pointing at the teens on the entrance steps) Don't you see you're throwing their happiness away and putting them into more apprehensive? There are families out there! Because of you, without adult supervision, children, including BABIES, have nowhere to go and learn!" Luna Lupus angrily exclaimed in debate.
Ladybug determinedly nodded for her and also furiously shouted at him, "They care for their kids, they love them!"
Surprised at what she said, Luna Lupus who had her left hand on the bubble, it slowly glides down and limply fell on her lap as she was looking down and frowning of her partner's words.
All she can think about is how her mother left her to face the world without her guidance of making good communication to make new friends. She can't do this alone, but she's afraid that it's happening to her little by little.
"Most adults do anyhow/Not all adults do..." Cat Noir and Luna Lupus mutterly spoke at the time, drawing each other's gaze up to the other.
Cat Noir is talking about his civilian self's father, Gabriel, and Luna Lupus is talking about her civilian self's mother, Charissé.
After hearing his soft words, Luna turned her head away from seeing his reaction face. It was then Cat Noir realized that he almost heard her sentence at the same time he spoke as if she was embarrassed about it.
'Did she have a neglected parent like me?' Cat Noir questioned to himself.
He put that thought aside and turned his gaze back to the Bubbler.
"(to Bubbler) You must bring the adults back!" Cat Noir angrily exclaimed.
"Nope, never. Know what, since you care about these adults so much, why don't you go float with them for a while?" Bubbler taunted.
He runs at them which made the hero trio gasp and kicks the bubble high up into the sky. Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus screamed and the teenagers gasp.
Near the Eiffel Tower, green bubble continues to flew up in the sky. The heroes are trying to burst the bubble.
"Ragh! It's no use! This bubble thing won't pop!" Luna Lupus exclaimed in frustration.
"Oh! Use your Cataclysm!" Ladybug vividly said to the black cat hero.
"Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?" Cat Noir sarcastically replied.
"Well, we can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever." Luna Lupus speak to him in a reason.
Cat Noir smirks and wiggles his eyebrows to the white canine heroine.
Luna Lupus groaned with a small smile, "That's not what I meant, kitty, but I won't mind for just the two of us."
Ladybug facepalms, "Guys, come on! Save the lovely chit chat later. Right now, we have to save those kids at the party."
Cat Noir and Luna Lupus nodded as Cat Noir unleashes his power, "Cataclysm!", he touches the bubble and it bursts. They start falling, making Luna Lupus' and Cat Noir's hairs fly upwards to reveal their real ears.
"Should we see if you land on your feet this time, Cat?" Ladybug yelled.
"No, thanks!" He replied with a little fright.
"Sometimes, I'm not a big fan of THIS height!" Luna Lupus yelled.
"Your stick, there!" Ladybug saw and points to the Eiffel Tower.
Cat Noir sees it, "Got it!", he throws his staff so hard it gets stuck in the Eiffel Tower. Ladybug takes his hand while Cat Noir takes Luna Lupus' hand.
"Hang on!" Ladybug throws her yo-yo. It catches around the Cat Noir's staff, they swing and roll to land safely.
"Good thing cats aren't afraid of heights." Cat Noir joked.
Luna Lupus rolled her eyes and take out her whip and threw it to Cat Noir's staff then pulled it off, "Guess I'm not that type 'cause wolves like me, we climb. (threw his staff back to him)"
"We've got to get to his bubble sword, that's got to be where the akuma is."
Cat Noir's ring beeps as a warning to de-transform.
"We Better hurry." He replied.
The hero trio ran down the street and head toward the mansion.

Meanwhile, The Bubbler tries to get the party going again, but the teens are hiding behind the marble rails of the stairs.
"Where is everybody? Get out here and party!" He exclaimed.
Then, out of nowhere, "Sorry to burst your bubble."
The villain turned and saw the hero trio on top of the gate; Ladybug was standing in the middle while Cat Noir and Luna Lupus were kneeled down either side of her with a grin on their faces.
Alya cheered from the crowd and points at them, "The hero trio!"
All the teens start to cheer them on, "Ladybug! Cat Noir! Luna Lupus!"
The Bubbler was starting to get furious at both heroes and the guests.
"No one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler." Ladybug smirked at him.
"What's wrong with all you guys!? Why you gotta be such haters!?" The party bubble man shouted before release a furious grunt, takes out his bubble sword and captures all the teens in bubbles.
"NOOO!" Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus shockily exclaimed simultaneously.
As the teen floated up in their bubbles, Bubbler, still furious, claimed to the heroes, "Outer space is the next stop for your precious peeps, and they're never coming back!"
Now furious to herself, Luna Lupus squeezed her staff so tight, release her spear, and spins to defend then jumps to attack him with raging growl, giving that he removes adults in the city and now he's getting rid of the innocent teens. The Bubbler dodges as Luna Lupus makes to the ground which appeared damage crater. The villain jumping from roof to roof.
Ladybug and Cat Noir pursue him, Luna Lupus follows them. The Bubbler flies to the Eiffel Tower. The heroes start climbing it while he throws explosive bubbles at them, they dodge them before they made their landing in a heroic crouch pose.
They dodge once more of the red destructive bubble until Cat Noir's ring beeps again. His green paw icon shows that he is very close to switching back.
"I'm gonna switch back soon, hurry." Cat Noir warned.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug called out her power, the Lucky Charm superpower gives her a big wrench in her hands.
"A big wrench?" Luna Lupus questioned.
"Your... plumbing skill is gonna help us out?" Cat Noir questioned as Ladybug just shrugs.
The Bubbler throws more explosive bubbles at Luna Lupus which made her gasp and called out, "Camouflage!"
She vanishes and made Bubbler confused to where she is, so he keeps shooting bubbles to random areas, but Luna Lupus keeps dodging them.
Frustrating as he is, Bubbler then throws some at Cat Noir. He dodges them, ending up atop a beam.
"Could use a little work! Is that all you got?" Cat Noir taunted.
Ladybug then use her Lucky Vision, it shows her a highlighted with red and black spots vent, a vent pipe, the screw connecting them, and the wrench, "Got it!"
She runs towards the pipe while Cat Noir is still dodging bubbles. She loosens the screw and the pipe comes off. It goes up to where Cat Noir and invisible Luna Lupus is standing, "Cat Noir, cover me!"
Cat Noir takes the pipe, "Go on!"
The Bubbler throws more bubbles at him, but the air flowing from the pipe deflects them. Now in rage, he throws various of bubbles at him, Cat Noir gaped at them, but when Luna Lupus' invisibility done, she appears and jumps behind Cat Noir and spins clockwise fast-paced to create a strong wind to deflect them back to get stick on the Bubbler, who gaped.
"Think of that when you're messing with adults!" Luna Lupus argued, still spinning her spear.
The Bubbler raises his bubble sword once again, but Ladybug smirks, throws her yo-yo, and snatches the sword which made Bubbler yelled in surprise, bringing it to her. She breaks the sword in half with her knee and threw it to the ground. The akuma flies out of the sword.
"Get out of there, you nasty bug. No more evil doing for you, little akuma. (opens her yo-yo) Time to de-evilize! (captures the akuma and closes the yo-yo) Gotcha! (opens the yo-yo again and releases purified butterfly) Bye-bye, little butterfly." Ladybug shouted for her finishing move. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
She throws the wrench up in the sky, and the magical ladybugs' cleansing light returns every adult to safety. The Bubbler turns back to Nino.
"Who? Dude." He mumbled in confusion.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus fist pumped, "Pound it!"
Luna Lupus' headband starts beeping from her head, "Oh! Looks like I better go. Can one or both of you take this boy back to his home?"
"Sure thing, Luna." Ladybug replied as Cat Noir nodded.
The wolf heroine runs off to one of the big beams of tower, but then suddenly just as she ran and her hero form disappears from the last moon phase, she was once again swallowed up by a green lonesome bubble.
"Woah! What the-? Oh come on!" Flora exclaimed in disbelief.
The bubble fastly float over to the destination of the party again. As she was levitatly sitting, she panics once more as she doesn't know where its taking her and Kammah.
"Oh no, not agaaaaaaiiiin!" She screamed.
Back at the Agreste Mansion
Even though they have 3 minutes left before they changed back, Ladybug and Cat Noir are at the party to see if the teens are back safely and in relief they are.
As Alya is taking out her phone, she saw something in the sky, and sees Flora in a bubble.
"Hey, is that Flora?" She questioned and pointed.
Ladybug and Cat Noir looked behind saw her in a bubble, the teens just stay quiet and curious on how there's still a bubble out.
"OK, somebody needs to get me out of the bubble. Today, please." Flora annoyed at the doing-nothing teens.
Genuinely smiling, Cat Noir simply use his finger claw to pop the bubble above him and Flora fell into his arms with her yelp 'Woah!'. She had her arms wrapped around his neck and had an expression of surprise to see him.
"You okay?" Cat Noir asked as he looks down at her with his smile remain.
"...uh, yeah, yes I am." Flora flustered with her eyes wide of gleam.
"Heh, I'm glad." Cat Noir said in relief.
Flora blinked her eyes then slowly return her smile as she blushes in pink.
As Cat Noir, still carrying her, and Flora's moment was just about to last forever, a white flash interrupt their moment. They turned their heads and sees Alya with a wide smile holding her phone.
"Oh, you two look so cute together!" Alya looks down at the picture she taken.
Flora then deadpanned and pointed at her with one finger as one arm is still around his neck, "You better not post it."
"Of course I won't." Alya carelessly said.
But she's starting to type something on her phone.
"What are you doing?" Flora asked her with a suspicious raised eyebrow.
"What? Nothing." Alya replied, typing her phone with her thumbs.
"You're posting the photo, aren't you?" The dancer girl retorted.
"No, no, I'm not." Alya innocently answered while keep typing.
"I am literally seeing your thumbs moving!" Flora irritated.
"No! No, you have me mistaken on the Lady-oop!" The persistent blogger sheepishly said, continuing typing in a fast paste.
"Oh! You're so gonna get it!" Flora exclaimed as she jumps out of Cat Noir's arms and chase Alya to get her phone.
Alya runs away with a playful smile on her face as the brunette follows her back and forth.
"Alya, don't make me ravage your phone if you post that photo!" Flora screamed, still running after her.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the teens are looking at them while moving their heads as they follow the chase of the girls.
The black cat hero just watches them, but mostly looking fondly at Flora before shaking his head with amused smile, 'That girl really is something. In a good way.'
Late afternoon at the Agreste Mansion...
At the dining room, Adrien still smiles after what happened between Flora and Alya. But as he gently swings around his cup, his smile turns to frown because he didn't get the chance to dance with Flora or try to impress her with his charm and kindness. And even more bad, was she get shoved again by Chloé and didn't do anything to help her again like earlier at school.
Then, without knowing who's near him, Nathalie goes to the dining room in a hurry where Adrien is eating dinner and gives him his "father's" gift which happens to be Marinette's gift, "A birthday present, from your father."
"Oh...thank you. I mean, please say thank you to my father for me." Adrien softly spoke in surprise.
Nathalie nods before returning to her work area in Gabriel's office. Adrien looks happily at the gift and opens it, it's a handmade light blue scarf, he's very happy to have this. Suddenly, he was reminded of something that he wanted to start the book that Flora gave him. So, he happily took it out from behind, looks at the cover and remembering how Flora give it to him.
He opens the first page, "Chapter 1..."
The Next Morning...
Outside of school, Marinette, Flora, and Alya are walking to the staircase. Flora was holding a 10 inch square white cardboard box in her hands as her backpack is on her back, she's relieved that her father and aunt are okay from the Bubbler incident yesterday as she thought she would never see them again like her mother, but Miguel told her fondly that he will never leave her.
Just as the girls were near the stairs, they heard Chloé disputing Sabrina.
"What do you mean not for a week?!" Chloé screaming at Sabrina.
"There were no adults yesterday to deliver it." Sabrina scaredly replied.
"So what? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" Chloé storms inside, followed by Sabrina.
Alya laughed to Marinette, "Ha ha! Serves Chloé right."
"(shrugging her shoulders) Eh, I already knew she forgot to give Adrien a birthday gift. She's so forgetful." Flora said to Alya with a knowing smirk.
"Hey girls!" Adrien called to them as he gets out of the limousine, wearing the light blue scarf and holding The Gentleman and the Thief book in his right hand.
"(to Alya) Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf." Marinette happily whispered.
"Really? That's a pretty scarf you made." Flora complimented.
"Thank you." Marinette thanked her.
"Hey, dude." Adrien greeted Nino with a fist pump.
"Yo, nice scarf, Adrien. Off the chain." Alya shouted while Marinette waved at him.
"Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me?" Adrien replied, Marinette and Flora looks surprised. "It's so awesome. He's been giving me the same lame pen for three years in a row."
"Three years?! Ay, Dios mío. (Oh my goodness.)" Flora surprised more as she walked forward a little to the boys.
"Wow, I guess anyone can change. Adults can be cool when you least expect it." Nino stated in profound.
Adrien sadly frown at his best buddy and felt bad about what happened during the conversation with his father, "Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but-"
Nino interrupt him by placing his hand on his shoulder, "We're good, Adrien, don't sweat it. We're buds. Always and forever."
He then turned to Flora with an expression of remorse and continued, "Oh and Flor? (Flora turned to him with a "Hm?") I wanted to say I'm sorry for insulting you about your mom, guess I wasn't thinking straight before I went overboard, please forgive me."
Flora blinked her eyes for a profound of her own and looks at Adrien who smiles at her and gesture his head to Nino, she hesitate but returned a small smile to the DJ boy, "I-I accept your apology, I can tell that you didn't mean it."
Nino smiled at her and nodded.
"Oh, by the way, thanks again one more time for the book. I just finished chapter 1, (chuckles) I tried to put the book down after reading it for bedtime, but I can't help to see what happens next." Adrien said, rubbing his neck.
"Oh! And Adrien, I made you something. Well, actually, it was my aunt's idea." Flora said as she turned to him. "Since your birthday party yesterday went half ruined or how do you say? 'A bust?', you haven't finish the important part of the day, so..."
She opened the lid of the cardboard box and reveal to be a freshly baked cake with candles on it.
(FlowersHeart17: Passion Fruit cake.)
"Woah!" Adrien and Nino exclaimed.
Marinette and Alya came to them as Flora magically lit up a match and light up the candles. The girls and Nino sang Happy Birthday to Adrien, but once they reach to the end of the song, they heard a angelic voice and appeared to come from Flora.
(FlowersHeart17: Pretend you hear Meena from the movie, Sing, sang to her grandfather.)
"Happy Birthday, dear Adrien. Happy Biiiirthday tooooo yoooooouuu." Flora sang the last words.
When she opened her eyes, she softly gasp as she saw her acquaintances sharing warm smiles. Flora blushed in embarrassment while looking down.
"What?" She hesitantly said.
"Nothing...just nothing." All of them simultaneously said.
The pretty dark brunette flower girl just raise her eyebrow then shrug her shoulders before speaking, "Anyway um make a wish and blow out the candles, Adrien."
Adrien close his eyes and silently made a wish then blow out the candles. They cheered for him after the candles.
Without knowing from his friends, even the dark brunette beauty he loves, Adrien wish that he will give Flora the happiness she deserves and protect her from anything or anyone who would try to hurt her emotionally.
"What kind of cake is it anyway?" Nino asked.
"Hold on! It looks familiar on the top part of the cake...(gasp) is that...passion fruit?" Adrien surprised.
"Why, yes it is. Are you allergic to them or do you-?" Flora nervously replied.
"No. I LOVE PASSION FRUIT! It's my favorite fruit flavor. Wow, Flora, it's like you read my mind, that's pretty smart of you." Adrien enthusiastically said with a bright smile.
Flora blushed a little then shyly smile of his compliment, "Thank you Adrien, how about we eat some cake during lunch time?"
"Yeah!" Adrien and the others cheered.
Adrien and Nino leaves to go inside the school.
As Flora closed the lid of the box, Marinette can't help but feel a clinge in her heart on how happy Adrien was with his favorite fruit on a dessert and compliment it to her dancer friend.
"Why didn't he notice how hard I work on my gift for him and how didn't I know of his favorite fruit flavor until now?" Marinette shamelessly asked herself, bowing her head.
"It doesn't matter, Marinette. What matters is he loves your gift, but you gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf." Alya said.
Marinette just smiled fondly at Adrien, "But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him."
Alya was endearing to her BFF's words, "Aw, Marinette. (they hug which Marinette returns the gesture) You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise."
"Hey!"
Marinette and Alya turned to see Flora at the entrance.
"C'mon or else we're going to be late for class!" Flora called out to them with a small smile.
Looking at each other, Marinette and Alya giggled and follow her up the stairs as the bell rings and everyone walks in.
End Title Card: Up in the beautiful sky, happy Marinette, Adrien, and Flora (In between her friends, next to Marinette; back to back) are blissfully enjoying themselves of the day with their eyes closed. Marinette was hugging herself, Adrien delicately graze over Marinette's scarf with his left hand, and Flora had her hands gently clasps to her heart is on her chest while a few of her hair strands blew softly on one side from the wind breeze.
