Hi there! Happy 4th of July! A time where you go out have fun to celebrate America's Birthday. Go to the beach/vacation, eat Ice Cream, have BBQ, and of course, FIREWORKS!
Last month have been hectic, but in a fun way. As for some you readers who are Hispanic/Latino know, Copa América USA 2024 is here and right now is the quarterfinals. Me, my brothers, and my dad went to the NRG Stadium to watch Colombia's first soccer match (Colombia Vs. Paraguay) for the very first time in my city as a Father's day gift for my dad and it was ecstatically enjoyment.
Once again, sorry for the long wait, this chapter is kind of tricky for me to write for my OC to be in this adventure chapter. Okay, enjoy, and once again, Happy 4th of July!

Chapter 6: The Pharaoh
Flora's POV
López Estate Mansion ; Flora's room
This is my first time checking out the Ladyblog on my laptop and as true to Alya's word, she did put a side blog about me as Luna Lupus. But that's not what I'm worried, I'm worried about how could my friend's BFF got so many rumors like this one...
A video of Alya in Paris is being viewed.
"Don't blink now, 'cause we are live from Paris. Yo peeps, Alya here, bringing you the one and only Ladyblog. (Helicopter noises) Huh? What is that? (Ladybug flies by, hanging on to her yo-yo, tied to a helicopter. She squeals and accidently drops a book from her hand). Ladybug in action. Hang on 'cause we're going for a ride. (Alya runs over and picks up the book) Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a 10th grade history book. And I should know, 'cause I've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a high school student, (zoom out to reveal the Ladyblog website as Alya's face is very close to the screen, which I'm watching the video from) in real life? Whoa!" Alya ecstatically reported.
CLAMP! (Closing the laptop hard)
"And this is WHY I don't consider Alya my friend!" I exclaimed in aggrieved, waving my arms in the air.
I almost feel like I should claw that dumb ecstatic face of hers when she shoves her face close to the video screen, but...that will be too violent and unforgivable.
I continued freaking out in little anger as Kammah is close to my face, "She doesn't know when to quit! She won't stop until she gets what SHE wants! And more importantly, what was my partner, Ladybug, thinking bringing a history textbook on her duty?! What is she a total clumsy klutz?"
(Like a funny comedy, the screen swipe right on the other side of the story)
Marinette's POV
After watching the recent update of the Ladyblog, I have never been so clumsy as Ladybug in my entire life! Because thanks to me, I lost my history textbook!
"I told you from day one, Tikki, I'm a total klutz!" I whimper in shame.
(The screen funnily swipe left back to Flora's room)
Flora's POV
"Eeeeh, maybe not. I think the helicopter steers her to hard to lose the grip on that book." I said while looking up in thought. "But still, with Alya had that textbook, mines and my partners' identities will be in jeopardy."
"What's done is done, we can't change what happened. We can only move forward. Alya must not find out who you are. And don't take it too hard judgement towards her, you hardly ever knew her to see within her to be your worthy friend." Kammah explained.
"I know, but when it comes to Alya, she can be very persistent." I said, swinging side to side of my swivel chair. "How can I convince her that the textbook doesn't belong to Ladybug?"
"You are Luna Lupus, wolves are smarter for problem solving than regular dogs. Uh no offense to cute ones." Kammah stated then became shy at the end.
"None taken." I replied with a cute smile.
"But still, everything will work out in the end, believe me. Everyone has a past they can learn from." The wolf Kwami said.
She flew over to her owner's laptop, lift up the top, and started typing something in a flash. Bringing a webpage of the Egyptian Pharaohs, "This will show you the reason."
I looked at the page of the pharaoh with a confused raise eyebrow, "Uh? An exhibition at the Louvre? On the pharaoh Tutankhamun? What does that have to do with the book and Alya?"
"You must persuade Alya to go there with you, and make sure she brings the book. You'll tell her you found out something about Ladybug or maybe on Luna Lupus." Kammah spoke to me, floating near my face.
"At the museum?" I questioned.
"Yes." Kammah replied.
"But how am I going to convince Alya to go to an Egyptian exhibit? Even though I'm not sure of liking her or not letting her know that I'm Luna Lupus." I spoked in concern.
As I was about to think for a solution, my phone rang from my desk. I picked it up and answered.
"Aló? (Hello?)" I answered.
"Hi, Flora!" Marinette greeted.
"Oh, Marinette, hi! How are you doing?" I said with a smile.
"I'm uh been doing good. Whatcha doing?" Marinette wondered.
"Nothing, just finish watching Alya's 'latest' video of the Ladyblog." I rolled my eyes and air-quoted.
"Oh...I-I guess you saw the video too hehehehe, pretty crazy huh." Marinette sheepishly said.
"Yes, pretty crazy indeed, but loca (crazy) when it comes to Alya figuring out Ladybug's identity! (Sigh with a frown) Listen, Marinette, you gotta tell her that she needs a break. If she keeps up, who knows what will happen to the superheroes." I said with a worried frown.
"I know! Believe me, Flora, I tried. But you know how she is since the first day of school when we met her." Marinette groaned.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Speaking of her, the reason I call you is that I invited her to the Louvre and I was wondering if you're not busy, you can come along with us?" She said.
"Oh! Funny, I was thinking about going over there too. Since I wanted to learn more about Ancient Egypt, I figure this museum will be a good start." I half lied.
"Oh! Well, I guess we both have the same thought, what a coincidence. So, what do you say?" Marinette said.
"Sure, Marinette, I would love to come." I replied.
"Great! Meet me at the bus stop in 1 hour and we'll get started." Marinette explained once more.
"Okay, I'll see you later." I said with a small smile.
"Alright, bye!" Marinette replied.
I hanged up before having my face turned to surprise blank, "Huh, I guess that answers my problem of bringing Alya to the museum. Let's just hope she's interested instead of looking for Ladybug."
"She will be interested and so will you. Promise." Kammah genuinely smiled.
I smiled to my cute kwami and with support, I accept her idea, "Okay!"
Normal POV
In Front of the Louvre
Alya, Marinette, and Flora got off the bus and are heading into the Louvre museum.
"Can you believe it? All I gotta do is find out who this history book belongs to and BAM, I figure out Ladybug's true identity! I'm so on this one!" Alya ecstatically said.
The girls then are walking down the stairs to the lower level.
"Don't you think you are going WAY overboard with Ladybug's identity? There is a REASON why she keep it a secret and not letting others know, especially her LOVED ONES." Flora eagerly said, convincing Alya to stop this nonsense.
"You really think you can figure out who Ladybug is from a textbook that every high school student owns?" Marinette asked.
"Yep. 'Cause our school is the only school that uses that book! HA!" Alya exclaimed.
Flora quietly groan and side eyed of annoyance at Alya, who continues to walk down the stairs.
Alya continued, "So, all I gotta do is find out which girl in tenth grade lost her book last week. There are forty-four girls, not counting myself-"
Marinette and Flora interrupted at the same time, "Forty-three!" "Forty-two!"
"Not counting you...or Flora...or me." Marinette continued.
Alya smirk and elbows Marinette, "Hmm, yesterday somebody didn't have their textbook in class."
"My textbook is in my backpack at home." Flora said, a little annoyed.
"Uh-I left it at home. You know how I always forget my stuff." Marinette worriedly said.
"Hmm..." Alya had a suspicion face at her then chuckles. "Just messing with you, Marinette. Of course I'll only drop you and Flora from my investigation when you bring your history book back to class."
The girls, especially Flora, were amazed at the ancient Egyptian artifacts area.
Then, out of nowhere when the girls enter the Egypt exhibit, Jalil Kubdel runs between Alya and Marinette carrying a folder full of papers. He pushes past them and trips, papers flying everywhere. His pendant falls and he quickly picks it up.
"It's not broken!" He sighed in relief.
"Uh, I'm okay too, thanks for asking." Alya annoyed.
"I'm sorry. Hey, you're in the same grade as Alix, right? I'm her older brother, Jalil Kubdel. So you're into Tutankhamun too?" Jalil said, energetic.
"Umm-" Flora said with a raise pointed finger.
"(looks up) Dad!" Jalil quickly said and rush off.
"Weird. So again girl, why are we here? This exhibit's got something to do with Ladybug? For reals?" Alya asked her BFF.
"You know something about Ladybug?" Flora questioned while turn to Marinette.
"Well, yeah uh... (secretly looks at Tikki in her purse. Tikki points at an Egyptian papyrus) Yeah, it's over there." Marinette spoked.
She takes Alya and Flora over to it. They look at it, while Marinette is trying to see the significance of the papyrus, Alya looking bored.
Flora was behind them and by the look on her friend's stressing out face, she know that this will be a long time for her which made the dark brunette shook her head in disappoint and lean against the Egyptian carving wall, "This is going to take a while."
Meanwhile at Adrien's room
Adrien is watching the same video from the Ladyblog shown earlier on his 3-screen computers from his desk.
Alya reported, "Hang on, 'cause we're going for a ride. Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a tenth grade history book. And I should know, 'cause I've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a high school student, in real life?"
"That's crazy! What are the odds that we have the same textbook? Maybe we even go to the same school!" Adrien said in surprise, turning his white swivel chair.
"Don't you think you know her then? (eats his cheese) Why bother yourself with ladies when you could be enjoying this?" Plagg said, gesturing his bitten cheese.
"For one, ladies smell about a thousand times better than that cheese. And they're much better-looking." Adrien reasoned.
"Suit yourself. Your loss." Plagg carelessly said before laying back to eat.
"My only loss is my appetite." The blond boy bluntly said to himself. "Oh speaking of ladies, (turn to click to exit the Ladyblog page and then click of his photo file, click one photo of Flora's ballet ensemble group photo and looks at Flora, in her ballet uniform, at the center) looks like Flora is happy so far, she's so pretty when she smiles."
"Blagh! Again with Flora? Seriously kid, when are you gonna get over with that girl?" Plagg disgustingly said.
"That's the thing, Plagg, I can't get over her. There's something about her that makes me see her... (fondly) special. I don't know what, but I'll find out soon, in the meantime, I want to make her happy more and hopefully, let her open her heart from her insecurity and sensitive. But how am I going to do that? I want to make her feel comfortable around my friends, even me." Adrien said as he is hopelessly in love.
"Maybe you can invite her to the movies or one of your photoshoots?" Plagg teasingly said.
"No, Plagg! I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. It needs to be something simple, maybe... a picnic." Adrien said, placing a finger on his chin while thinking.
"Whatever, good luck with that." Plagg rolled his eyes and continuing eating his cheese.
Adrien sigh and shook his head in annoyance. He then stares at Flora in the photo.
Back at the Louvre
Marinette, Alya, and Flora are still at the exhibition.
Alya whined, "Come on, tell me what it is already!"
"No, no, cause... it wouldn't be a surprise then... (under her breath and looks at Tikki) for you or me." The bluenette said as she looks down at her purse once more in her hands.
Tikki look at an ancient Egyptian papyrus, Marinette looks at her direction in her eye, she was going to figure out, but Jalil and his father, Alim Kubdel, cut in.
"I'm telling you, father, it's right there in the hieroglyphics. (He gently pushes Marinette aside) Excuse me. There, as you know, the one with the scepter is Tutankhamun, the first. And there, opposite is Nefertiti, his princess. There are exactly one hundred mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the sun god Ra took her as his goddess." Jalil explained.
"Yes, I know all that. I'm the director of this exhibition, remember?" Alim Kubdel sarcastically said
Jalil continues to decipher, "Then you also know that Tutankhamun wanted to bring his princess back to life, by offering the sun god a new wife. This seemed to illustrate the ritual he devised. Nobody has ever fully deciphered the hieroglyphics, but I have! It's a magic chant that needs to be recited in order to complete the ritual! I'm sure of it!"
"He kinda reminds me of someone else with crazy ideas... you!" Marinette said as she points at Alya.
"Defiantly." Flora giggled.
"You might think my theories about Ladybug are crazy, but you watch, girls, I'll prove you wrong." Alya spunked.
Flora rolled her eyes and muttered, "Oh yeah, good luck with that, you and your silly rumors."
"Jalil, these types of frescoes are almost always the illustration of a legend. They called it a legend for a reason..." Alim Kubdel irritated.
"That's what everyone thinks. But I know it's real. I can prove it!" Jalil called.
"Really? And exactly how are you going to prove it?" Alim suspiciously questioned.
"I just need to get my hands on Tutankhamun's scepter and recite the spell!" Jalil answered.
Just as he was going to get his hands on the scepter, surprised Flora saw him, walks close between Jalil and his father, gently grabs his forearm before he could reach the item, and give him a reason speech.
"Um with all due respect, Jalil, it is a bit reckless that you want to touch the scepter and use it for an apocryphal purpose. I mean, sure this item is just sitting there collecting dust, but are you willing to risk this priceless artifact to use it for a legend story's nonexistent ritual performance that could cause harmful situations?" Flora carefully said.
"This young lady has a point. Don't even think of touching that scepter. I'd lose my job on the spot. It's a priceless historical object! Not a toy!" Alim said with a little irritation.
"Come on, dad! We have to try out the spell! What if Tutankhamun had found out how to bring people back to life?" Jalil persistently exclaimed, follows his father.
"Listen, Jalil! That's enough! Get your head out of those papyrus scrolls and focus on the real world! This one!" Alim enraged to his son before he turns to leaves.
Leaving his son alone, Jalil drops his papers, looking sad.
Flora feels bad for him a little as she returns to stand next to the girls.
"I feel sorry for him, but this is his fault for bringing this nonsense about the silly spell. I'm just explaining the truth without getting him into trouble." She said.
"It's okay, Flora, you tried to reason with him." Marinette reassures her, placing her hand on the dark brunette's shoulder.
"Anyway, let's get back to the subject: Something about Ladybug in the papyrus." Alya ignore the event and get back to the topic.
One hour later...
Marinette, Alya, and Flora, are still at the exhibition in the same spots they were standing before. And Marinette STILL tries to figure out the significance of the symbols.
"Uhhh... ahhh..." She stumbles, while figuring out the hieroglyphics.
Flora was playing Mega Man X app on her phone. Just as she is in Spark Mandrill's power plant level, she paused it for a moment, looks up to see Marinette, and groan loudly.
"This is taking foreveeeeeeeeeeeeer!" She softly whined, while her head leans back.
Once she moves her head forward, she gaped at the sight of the picture on the papyrus. She saw a man with a wolf head holding a spear and have a bow and arrow on his back, but the only difference, is that he is wearing shendyt WITH A TAIL.
"Hey Kammah." Flora whispered as she tilt her head a little to talk. "Who is that guy with a wolf head and a shendyt...with a tail?"
Kammah popped her head from Flora's hair braid and looked then smiled, "This was Wepwawet, God of War & Hunting, he was often depicted as a wolf or a jackal-headed man. He was associated with the pharaohs and their military campaigns as well as with funerary rites of the dead. He was also seen as a protector of the sacred places and a guide for the souls of the deceased as one of the few ancient Egyptian gods that can open a gate to the underworld of Duat, which made him "Opener of the ways" by his name."
"Ah." Flora nodded.
She looks at the wolf god again, curiosity in thought, 'Could he be one of my ancestors or previous holder of my miraculous?'
She shrug her shoulders and thinks about asking Kammah later.
Then, she resume the game. Alya yawns and takes the history book out of her bag.
"Gah! Put that down! " Marinette yelped, which made Flora looked up in alert. The bluenette shoves the book down in the bag. "I'm gonna show you the secret I found out about Ladybug!"
With a nervous creepy smile Marinette had, Alya is relieved to see, "'Bout time. This better be blog-worthy."
A few minutes later...
"Uhhh.. ahhh..." Marinette cluelessly groaned, while still waving her finger to each direction.
"Ugggghh! This is the most irritating moment of my life." Flora groaned.
"This thing's making my eyes hurt." Alya tiredly said as she starts to get the book out again, but Marinette stops her.
Nervous with a smile, Marinette stopped her again and turned her, "Look closely! It is in there.", which made Alya crossed her arms and had a blunt face at the papyrus.
"But WHERE, Marinette?! We've been looking at the papyrus for a hour and a half! (Sigh with a sad frown) Clearly, it seems to me that you don't know any symbols that are related to Lady-Huh?!" Flora said to Marinette until she horrifyingly saw a tall man with Egyptian Pharaoh's gold head and aqua eyes.
"(blows a whistle, startled Marinette and Alya) Hey, you!" A museum employee called.
"Thoth, give me time!" The Pharaoh exclaimed.
His face changes into Thoth's face. He traps the employee and the civilians in golden bubbles. The girl trio dodges one when one came at them, the book from Alya's bag fell. Alya grins, gets out her smartphone, and runs off to the other side.
"Alya, hide!" Marinette cried.
"Alya, this is NOT a good time for recording this!" Flora cried as well.
Alya hides next to the other pedestal with her camera.
Pharaoh cried and motion his arms of the bubbles, "Get out of here, faster! (the bubbles fly out of the room)"
As Pharaoh walk towards the pedestal of the scepter, Marinette and Flora quickly without the villain to notice them move to another pedestal to hide.
"Flora! Go and find a place to hide, I'll find one for myself as well." Marinette whispered.
"Right. I'll be back once this is over. Be safe." Flora whispered back.
The dark brunette runs to the other doorway on the side without Alya notice behind her.
Marinette hides from Pharaoh on the side of the glass stand.
"(To Tikki) We gotta transform! Tikki, spots on! Ha!" Marinette quietly transforms into Ladybug.
Flora found a janitor closet on the left and quickly enter it. She release Kammah from her hair braid before giving her a pout and arms crossed.
"You were saying about Alya for me to be not too judgmental, hmm." She said, seriously questioned.
Kammah shyly looks down and rubbing her hands, "I guess maybe I should take back my words."
"Oh don't worry about it, I'll take them as a word of advice list." Flora kindly smiled to her then determined with a fist pump. "But now, it's time to dethroned the king of Egypt! Kammah, let's howl!"
After Flora transformed, Alya scoots over to the other side of the pedestal she is hiding as she is narrating in whisper and recording a live video on her phone, "OMG. Coming to you live, Ladyblog viewers, I'm at the scene even before Ladybug or Cat Noir or Luna Lupus! This is insane!"
Adrien's room
Just as Pharaoh got the scepter, Adrien and Plagg are watching Alya's video. Adrien is shocked with his mouth dropped.
"Wow! I love the face changes! You could use that one!" Plagg floats over to Adrien.
"Time to transform! Plagg, claws out!" Adrien called out and transforms into Cat Noir.
Back at the Louvre
Next, Pharaoh steals the papyrus. At the same time, Ladybug slides under a gate just as it closes and Luna Lupus front flips then stops in the middle close to the other side of Pharaoh.
"You know that's considered stealing." Ladybug smirked.
"Actually, I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me." Pharaoh said.
"Maybe if you were the real Pharaoh." Ladybug walks over a little while playing her yo-yo.
"Which you're not!" Luna Lupus finished for her.
From afar, Alya saw them, "Look at Ladybug and Luna Lupus go! They're here at the same time. If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up! (Looking over their shoulders, Ladybug and Luna Lupus freaks and shoos her, but it made her squeal) Ladybug and Luna Lupus waved at me! No way!"
Luna Lupus facepalmed and groan as she slides her hand down her face. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to attack the Pharaoh, but he grabs the yo-yo and swings Ladybug away, making her crash into a craving Egyptian wall.
Just as Pharaoh was about to leave, Luna Lupus took out her staff into her spear with a metal clink sound effect, leaps up, and attack on his back, which made Pharaoh get his attention. Then, flips forward to land in front of him.
"Huh?! Who are-wait a minute. Wepwawet?! It's not possible! You're supposed to be a man and now, you're a woman?!" Pharaoh shocked.
"Uh, I beg your pardon? I'm always have been a lady." Luna Lupus questioned as she stood up from her crouch.
"No matter. You are the Opener of the ways. You are a guide for the souls of the deceased as one of the few ancient Egyptian gods that can open a gate to the underworld of Duat, you can help me bring back my long lost princess, I honor you to associate with me and help me to destroy Ladybug and Cat Noir." Pharaoh said.
"Sorry, but I prefer to 'associate' with my partners instead of a mad tyrant ruler." Luna Lupus replied with a smirk.
Then, she twirls her spear and leaps up to attack him.
"Sekhmet, give me your strength!" Pharaoh called out.
His face changes and suddenly, he grabbed the head of the spear to pause the attack then threw Luna Lupus over his head to the ground; laying flat on her back and she's upside down as she looks at him.
"Ooooh boy, that's gonna leave a mark." Luna Lupus funnily groan.
He then walks away and uses his strength to bend the bars, but Cat Noir appears before him.
Cat Noir grinned at him, "How nice of you to hold the door open for me!"
He attacks Pharaoh, but Pharaoh grabs him on his face, and throws him into a sarcophagus; it fell forward to the ground afterwards. Luna Lupus shot up to look.
"Enjoy your coffin!" He laughs.
"Cat Noir!" Luna Lupus cried at the coffin.
She quickly glare at Pharaoh as he leaves before she and Ladybug heads over there.
Alya moves closer while stupidly continues to record, "(recording Ladybug and Luna Lupus as they try to open the coffin; Ladybug tries to open with her hands, Luna Lupus use her hands at first then start using her spear to jab the gap) This is hecka crazy! Keep your eyes peeled! (sees Pharaoh standing over her and nervously reply) Hiya!"
"(Places his hands on Alya's face) Your face. Fate has placed you on my path. Come with me! (slings her over his shoulder and walks out)" Pharaoh said.
"Hey! Hands off the threads. I can walk myself!" Alya exclaimed.
She happily waves at the hero girls which made both Ladybug and Luna Lupus sighs simultaneously, "Seriously?!"
They pull the lid to open, Luna Lupus struggles with her hands once again, "Why (pull). Won't (pull). You (pull). Open (pull harder)!"
They finally throws opens the coffin, Cat Noir looks petrified as he breaths, and Luna Lupus noticed, "Cat, are you okay?"
"Yeah, much better now that you're here." He grinned.
She smiled for a bit then turn serious to the villain and the hero trio runs after Pharaoh, Ladybug called, "Let her go!"
They stopped behind Pharaoh with their weapons in hand, Cat Noir determinedly cried out, "Hiding behind an innocent bystander! You're weak, Pharaoh!"
"I'm way more powerful than you are." Pharaoh uses his strength to close the bars and walks away.
The hero trio runs and held on the bars with Luna Lupus in the middle between her partners.
"(stupidly ecstatic) And don't forget! All the latest behind-the-scenes are on my blog!" Alya called out to them.
She then wink at them, Luna Lupus groans while looking up at that move of that young reporter.
"That Alya is one brave chick." Cat Noir said to Ladybug.
"If by brave, you mean bossy, feisty, and bold? Yup, that's her!" Ladybug stated.
"Not to mention annoyingly persistent." Luna Lupus loudly mumbled, still holding the bars but squeeze in frustration.
"What was that?" Ladybug and Cat Noir simultaneously asked.
"Uh nothing! Nothing at all." Luna Lupus panicked. "Come on, get us out of here, Cat Noir!"
He nod and called out, "Cataclysm! (uses his Cataclysm to break the bars and they walked out of here) How are we gonna find them?"
"Alya's got a livestream on her blog!" Ladybug plays the video from the screen of her yo-yo and shows it to Cat Noir and Luna Lupus.
Still being stupid, even from the villain's shoulder, Alya reported, "(from video) Hi, everyone! Alya here, liveblogging from the shoulder of the terrifying villain! Huge scoop to come, stay tuned!"
"Ugh! EN SERIO!? (SERIOUSLY!?) Even when she's REALLY in danger like being near a supervillain, she's STILL liveblogging her blog! (she turns her back to her partners and place her left hand on her forehead) Ay estúpida chica! (Oh stupid girl!)" Luna Lupus exclaimed in disbelief.
"Um wolfie? Are you sure you're okay? (he slowly walks towards her and outstretch his hand a little) It seems like you are angry with that girl." Cat Noir concerned.
"What? No no I'm not angry with her. She's just... well... (looking at him as he is a little worried) she just not paying attention to the catastrophe around her without realizing it, that's all." She replied then arms crossed and give blunt pout face.
"I'm sure she's not that bad. I understand what you are saying, milady, but she's only doing that for her blog about us." Cat Noir said with a shy smile.
"A blog about me and Ladybug." Luna Lupus corrected. "It's not fair that you're not in it and left you in the dark."
"Don't worry, someday soon she will put me in it, believe me." Cat Noir said. "But now, we gotta save Alya."
But his Miraculous beeps, "Uhh, second thought, you go ahead. I'll join you as soon as my Miraculous is charged up again."
"Hurry up." Ladybug said before placing her hands on each of her partners' shoulder. "It's gonna take the three of us to defeat him."
They run separate ways; Ladybug and Luna Lupus were together while Cat Noir finds a spot to charge up.
Outside the Louvre
Pharaoh walks out of the Louvre and throws Alya to the ground.
"Hey!" Alya yelled.
"On to the next phase. Anubis, bring me mummies! (his face morphs again, only for Anubis' head. Beams of light shoot from his eyes, transforming civilians into mummies) Soon, we'll be together again, my Nefertiti! My long-lost love!" Pharaoh called.
"This is gonna be one major scoop! (taps Pharaoh on the shoulder) Uh, excuse me, Pharaoh, but uh, what exactly is going on here?" Alya asked while recording this.
"I'm going to carry out the secret spell to bring Nefertiti back!" Pharaoh stated.
"Ahh, hmmm. Gotcha! You're talking about the spell on the papyrus, right?" Alya said.
"Correct! The one hundred mummies and the offering!" Pharaoh replied.
"Offering. What offering?" The blogger questioned.
"To persuade the sun god Ra to give me back my sweet princess, I must give him something in return. A pure soul!" The Egyptian villain demonstrated.
"Dude, that's hard to come by." Alya joked.
"But I've already found her! You look so much like her! (turned her face to the papyrus)" Pharaoh said.
The papyrus showed the woman who was about to be sacrifice to the Gods of Egypt, only she has glasses in the scripture.
"Say what?!" Alya quietly reply in shock.
Back in the Louvre
Pharaoh cackles as the screen zoom out to Ladybug and Luna Lupus watching the video on her yo-yo.
"Hold on, Alya!" Ladybug and Luna Lupus looks at the video and runs into two time bubbles without looking, which traps them. "Whoa! Oh, no, I ran right into one of those time bubbles! (outside view; her voice is in slow motion) "I've got to get out of this!"
"Aw come on! Just when I thought the Bubbler incident will be the last time I get trapped in a bubble, but boy was I wrong! (outside view; her voice is in slow motion) "This is ridiculous!" Luna Lupus started pounding the bubble along with Ladybug.
"(from video) Ladybug, this is Alya! I just found out I'm the sacrificial offering to the sun god! (high tone at the last word) Please hurry!" Alya panicked and warned Ladybug.
"Hold on, Alya. (Outside view as she starts running inside the bubble; slow motion) "I'm nearly there!" Ladybug said before running, even though the bubble made her slow her pace.
"(Outside view as she starts running inside the bubble; slow motion) Wait for me!" Luna Lupus said as she runs behind her.
A few minutes later, Cat Noir arrives and bursts the time bubble Luna Lupus is trapped in.
"Whoa!" She yelped.
Cat Noir catches her with his hands on her arms while her hands are resting on the black feline's chest.
"Thanks for waiting around for me!" Cat Noir said with a smile, seductively in his voice.
Luna Lupus gaped before blushing intensively at him, seeing at how almost close they are. Then, she shook her head to snap out of herself, "No problema. (No problem.) I've always wait for you to be ready."
Cat Noir leans a little to her, but she continued, "But could you help Ladybug too, please?"
"Oh (Blushing) right, hehe." Cat Noir bashfully said.
He did just that as Ladybug almost fell but got her balance.
"Thanks, Cat, now, we've gotta find the hidden akuma and free it before he sacrifices that poor girl!" Ladybug said to them as they are running upstairs.
In hiding, they arrive and peek determinedly at the front door, and see rows of mummies.
"I can't see her or Pharaoh." Ladybug said.
"Let's try the rooftop, we could get a better view from there." Luna Lupus spoked.
Ladybug and Cat Noir nodded. Then ducks down and they reach the roof.
Outside the Louvre; The ritual is about to begin
"Over there!" Cat Noir said as he pointed the direction.
The hero trio sees a form shaped Ankh lined up by the mummies. Alya struggles to get away from Pharaoh, but he is holding her tightly on her wrist, she suddenly sees a woman figure in the papyrus with black spots and she has a yo-yo spinning. And not only that, below the figure was another one but with a bushy tail from her dress, carries a spear, and have wolf ears on her head, "Whoa, back up! Who are these goddess chicks with the black spots and a bushy tail! There, on your papyrus!"
She turned Pharaoh's head towards it and he declared, "Ladybug, my sworn enemy! My nemesis may have kept me from carrying out my ritual 5000 years before, but she will not stop Nefertiti from coming back to me this time! (he crush the papyrus and shreds it) And Luna Lupus, known as Wepwawet, is also lately my sworn enemy! Since he-well she is a protector of the sacred places and a guide for the souls of the deceased to get my princess back. But she doesn't accept my alliances, which makes me no choice but to destroy her."
"Did you say... Ladybug and Luna Lupus 5000 years ago?!" Alya squealed in shock.
From the roof, Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus are shown watching the video, surprised.
"Everyone does have a past they can learn from." Ladybug realized.
"5,000 years ago?! Known as 5000-3100 B.C.?! That was the period of time of Predynastic Egypt starting at the first human settlement and ending at the First Dynasty of Egypt around 3100 BC. Esto es una locura! (This is crazy!)" Luna Lupus shocked, while placing her right hand on her forehead.
"Well, you two don't look a day over 3000." Cat Noir said before chuckling.
"Now you know why I'm so much wiser than you two. Hm!" Ladybug smirked.
Both Luna Lupus and Cat Noir frown at her and the wolf heroine said, "Ay por favor, Ladybug. (Oh please, Ladybug.) Anyone can have wisdom including me and Cat Noir."
Pharaoh starts the ritual with chant spell, "Oh, sacred Ra, god of the sun, I Pharaoh, offer to thee a pure soul! (He dropped Alya and the mummies cower her to grab her) The sacrifice for the return of Nefertiti! (The Louvre pyramid lights up, and as he speaks, it shoots a beam into the sky that starts spreading darkness) I bow to you, and present this gift with my mummies! In company, we pray to you the safe return of princess Nefertiti! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken!"
Mummies chanted, "Awaken, Nefertiti... Awaken..."
Alya screamed as the mummies carry her toward the pyramid, "Ladybug!"
"We've gotta save her before he completes the ritual, or Alya will be gone, forever!" Ladybug said in fright.
"What should we do?" Cat Noir calmly questioned.
"You and Luna Lupus hold back the mummies while I take on the Pharaoh." Ladybug replied.
Before she was going to leave, Cat Noir complained as his and Luna Lupus' tails swift up and down every movement of their body, "Why do we have to deal with these freaks while you get to slip calmly round back?"
"Exactly, I could be of help if you get stuck in a situation." Luna Lupus said as her tail stopped in a droop.
"Because I'm the only one who can capture his akuma, and because you are the bravest one out of three of us!" Ladybug reasoned to them before winks.
"Sure." The black cat and ice cool white wolf said unison, but not agreeing.
After Ladybug swings away, Cat Noir stated with his arms cross, "I know you don't really think that, but I'll pretend you do."
"Please don't, you have every right to be honest. And she is right you know, you are very brave." Luna Lupus spoke the truth.
"You are brave too." Cat Noir told her with a smile.
"Heh, no I'm not. I may look brave on the outside, but on the inside, I'm a different person." Luna Lupus weak chuckled then sad frown to the ground.
"I beg to differ." Cat Noir softly said as he walks close to her face to face. "Hey. (he gently use his finger and tilt her head from her chin) Even if you think that, I still believe you're the bravest one, inside and out"
Luna Lupus' wolf eyes glimmer at his words and his green cat eyes filled with kindness. Nobody besides her father has ever said that to her and it made her heart quickened with warm feelings.
She return him with a pretty smile and blush in slight red tinted cheeks, "Okay. And thank you for your kind and supportive words."
Cat Noir nodded and let's go of his finger, "Now, let's go and kick some mummies' butt."
Luna Lupus nodded and they both drop down from the roof.
Mummies continue to chant, "Awaken, Nefertiti, Awaken... Awaken, Nefertiti, Awaken..."
Now arrived on the street lamps next each other, Cat Noir and Luna Lupus sits like how their animal do, Cat Noir called out to get their attention, "Hey there, you bunch of bandages! What do you say we wrap this up!"
Luna Lupus giggled at his pun, "Been waiting for a long time to hear you say that."
Cat Noir chuckled at her replying word.
"Cat Noir! Luna Lupus!" Alya cheered in relief.
"Seize them!" Pharaoh commanded.
The mummies run after them, but it turns they are slower then they thought.
"Is that really as fast as you can go?" Cat Noir jumps between street lamps while Luna Lupus followed suit.
"Wait, this looks... like a trap!" Pharaoh cried as he turn towards the opposite roof where Ladybug is.
Determined, Ladybug swings down and grabs Alya, "Gotcha!"
"Horus, give me your wings!" Pharaoh called out and face changed again.
Ladybug and dropped down to the other side on the roof, while Alya started recording, "Peeps, you just witnessed another insane feat from Ladybug! Thanks for saving my butt!"
"Oh, uh, you're welcome. But it's not over yet. Not until-" Ladybug said.
Alya interrupted to state to finish for her, "Not until Ladybug destroys the pendant containing the akuma, and turns everything back to normal! I pay attention."
"The pendant! Good eye!" The bug heroine complimented.
Alya sees Pharaoh flying in behind Ladybug, "Ahhh!"
Pharaoh knocks Ladybug off the roof, but she uses her yo-yo to land safely on the ground.
"Way to go, Ladybug!" Alya cheered until Pharaoh lands behind her and throws her phone away. "No!"
Luna Lupus notice the flying phone, she runs to and catches it.
"Really? Why did I even save her phone after what she got herself into?" Luna Lupus said to herself.
"Great catch, Luna." Ladybug said as she stood next to her.
"Thanks, but it's not over yet." The wolf heroine just said as she looks up to Pharaoh who capture Alya again in his arm while floating.
"You're not going to win this time, Ladybug and Luna Lupus!" Pharaoh exclaimed.
"Help me, hero girls!" Alya cried.
"Crush that insect and canine!" The Egyptian ruler shouted in command.
Ladybug and Luna Lupus are surrounded by mummies. They witness Alya being thrown onto the beam of light and carried upward.
Cat Noir readied with his baton staff until, "What the?"
He sees three mummies about to throw a car at him, but Ladybug and Luna Lupus wraps their yo-yo and whip around his both ankles and pulls him to safety.
"Cat Noir! This way!" Ladybug called.
Ladybug runs onto a bus while Cat Noir and Luna Lupus slides underneath pass the side of the bus. The mummies follow her on, and she exits. Cat Noir and Luna Lupus turns the bus on its side with their baton staff and spear.
"Whew, that should keep them for long." Luna Lupus smirked.
"We have to save Alya before she reaches the circle of darkness!" Ladybug said.
"Right." Luna Lupus agreed.
As the three of them run towards the beam of light, Pharaoh blocked their way and shouted, "You will not stop me from bringing Nefertiti back! I'll finish you off! Anubis, bring me mummies!"
He starts shooting beams at Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Luna Lupus, but they dodge them. Luna Lupus leaps up and skillfully turn her staff into a bow and arrow, and shoots arrows at the villain, which made him lose his balance as he moves back to dodge. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to grab Pharaoh, while Cat Noir catapult over them, climbs up the Louvre, and tries to rescue Alya.
Luna Lupus jumps over them and follows Cat Noir on the glass pyramid on four legs. Pharaoh called out, "Horus, give me your wings!", he lifts himself and Ladybug into the air. Climbing next to each other, Cat Noir and Luna Lupus stopped when they sense and dodge at the flying Pharaoh, seeing them in the air above. While airborne, Ladybug grabs the Pharaoh's pendant and drops it.
"Cat Noir! Luna Lupus! The pendant! That's where the akuma is!" Ladybug called.
The black cat and ice cool white wolf turn back to get the pendant just as Ladybug lands softly to the ground. They run for the pendant, but Pharaoh lands on it.
"Sekhmet, give me your strength!" He uses his strength to make a sonic wave that knocks the hero trio off to the floor then the mummies surround them. Pharaoh grabs the pendant, "It's over."
"(coming closer and closer to the circle of darkness) Ladybug, save me!" Alya screamed.
"Oh Ra, god of the sun, accept this humble offering and return the princess to me!" Pharaoh said the last chant spell.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug called out her power and receives a Ladybug costume. "A Ladybug outfit?"
"That's our last hope?" Cat Noir questioned.
"This is no time to be going to a masquerade party." Luna Lupus quoted.
Ladybug uses her Lucky Vision, and the earrings in the costume were only highlighted.
"I've got an idea, but I need your help, Luna Lupus." She said in determination, Luna Lupus nod in determine as well. "This offering isn't good enough for Nefertiti!"
Alya annoyingly shouted, "Hey! Thanks a lot!"
"Too late, Ladybug! The ritual has begun!" Pharaoh said.
Ladybug is playing along, "Set Alya free and sacrifice me instead! Wouldn't that be the sweetest revenge? 5000 years later! After all, I'm the one who kept Nefertiti from you all these years!"
"It's true that you would make a much more precious offering than this mortal." Pharaoh stated this correct speech.
Ladybug looks at Luna Lupus and winks at her for her signal to play along, "I want to take back all things I've said to you, Pharaoh. (she walks forward to him and one kneels down with her spear sticks up) I, the new Wepwawet, will guide you on bringing you back your princess from the lost souls of the deceased."
"Excellent! I knew you would make the right choice." Pharaoh said to her before he takes Ladybug's hand. "Horus, give me wings!"
He flies with Ladybug up to Alya who is still not amused, "Seriously?"
The Pharaoh throws her off the beam. She falls, slides down the pyramid, and lands safely on the ground, "Excuse you, but I make excellent sacrificing material!"
"Maybe another time." Luna Lupus, still on one knee, smirk secretly then turn to worried frown at Ladybug. "I hope you know what you're doing, Ladybug."
After placing Ladybug on the light beam, she pretends to take off her earrings. "You win, Pharaoh..." , then tricks the Pharaoh with a empty hand and snatch his pendent. "You want my Miraculous? Go get it! (throws the fake earrings)"
Pharaoh flies over and grabs them, but he sees they're fake.
"A toy? You tricked me!" He outraged."
Ladybug punches the pendant and breaks it, releasing the akuma, the light beam disappears, then slides down the pyramid and lands on the ground.
"Yes!" Luna Lupus cheered with a fist pump.
"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug captures the akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha! (releases the purified butterfly) Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"
She throws the lucky charm of the Ladybug costume in the air and reverts all the damage with magical ladybugs. It explodes into a blast of energy that turns everything back to normal. Pharaoh turns back into Jalil.
"What happened?" He said in confused.
Luna Lupus gives Alya her phone back as Ladybug arrives next to her, "Thanks, girls! But, uh, I still gotta ask: how old are you, really?"
Ladybug surprised a little but reply, "Um, much older than a high school student, that's for sure!" Then she swings away.
Cat Noir turns to Alya with smirk and run through his hair, "Don't you wanna know how old I am?"
"In a sec, looks like I'll be able to tell for myself." Alya said while Cat Noir's ring beeps to take a hint.
Cat Noir sees that he is about to turn back, and runs away like a funny coward, Alya and Luna Lupus laughs at him.
"Ay mi gatito gatito. (Oh my kitty kitty.)" Luna Lupus sighed fondly and shook her head in amusement.
"Oh! Does it sound like you have a thing for Cat Noir?" Alya smirked at her.
"What? No! We're just partners who saving and having fun in Paris." Luna Lupus panicked with a blush.
"Sure you are." Alya smirk once more and ask a question. "But anyway, how old are YOU, Luna?"
"Uh, like Ladybug, older than a normal high school student." Luna Lupus replied then swings away as well.
Inside the Louvre
Alya walks back in and sees Marinette and Flora there.
"Where have you two been?" She excitedly asked.
"You won't believe this! I got mummified!" Marinette fake panicked.
"So did I!" Flora exclaimed.
"Hope you two weren't one of the ones trying to swap me for Nefertiti! Creepy!" Alya teased.
"What?! You were almost... sacrificed?" Marinette freaked.
"If it hadn't been for you I'd never have found out that Ladybug and Luna Lupus are at least 5000 years old! And I also wouldn't have figure out that wolf gal is a opener of ways for deceased souls and assistance to battle with the Pharaoh."
"Hey! What are friends for?" Marinette said.
As she walks away with Flora two feet behind her, Alya grabs her bag, and they head out, "I still don't get it though, what was Ladybug doing with that tenth grade history textbook?"
"Uh, she... she probably had to find out what's been going on for the past 50 centuries!" Marinette hesitantly made something up.
"You're probably right. It's tough staying in the loop. (digging in her bag to find the book, but she finds it empty) Hey, Ladybug's textbook! It's gone!" Alya shocked.
"Huh. That's weird, I wonder how it disappeared." Flora questioned.
Unbeknownst to her, Marinette giggles to herself at the fact that she knows where it is.
Flora then smiled a little and thoughted, 'Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about it anymore.'
López Estate Mansion; Flora's room
At nighttime, Flora, in her pajamas, was brushing her hair with her hairbrush and then fix it into a hair braid for sleeping. Her room is dimmed by two lamps on from either side of the floating nightstands.
Before she is gets on her bed to review her history textbook, there's a knock on the double doors.
"Come in." She called.
One of the doors open and revealed Miguel with a warm smile and hands behind his back.
"Hola cariño. (Hi sweetie.)" Miguel greeted. "Qué estás haciendo? (What are you doing?)"
"Nada, a punto de hacer un repasito para mi examen de historia de mañana antes de irme a dormir. (Nothing, just about to do a little review for my history test tomorrow before I go to sleep.)" Flora said while walk towards him.
"Ah, that's good, because there's something I want to give you." Miguel said.
"Oh, what is it?" Flora asked.
Miguel moves his hands behind his back and shows her a new silver heart locket necklace.
Flora softly gasp at the necklace with hands held up close to her mouth.
"Since that bully you called 'Chloé' completely damaged your mother's gold locket on your first day of school, this also belongs to her." Miguel softly said before moves closer to her to put it on her neck to clasped. "I gave this to your mother on our wedding day... I want you to have it."
Flora looks down and grasp it between her fingers and brightly smiled to him, "It's beautiful. Huh? A swan?"
"Oh yeah, it's for your mother to remember how she was the ballerina part of Odette from Swan Lake." Miguel said as he remembers the moment he first saw her perform the part. "If you want to engrave something in there or add photo upgrades, let me know so I could do that."
Flora nodded and open the locket to see the same photo from the old locket; Little Flora and her mom in their garden with roses in their hair. She softly smile at it.
"Gracias, papi, esta vez lo cuidaré muy bien. (Thank you, daddy, I'll take very good care of it.)" Flora genuinely said as she clasped the heart tightly in her hand.
Miguel nodded with a charm smile and kisses her forehead, "Get some rest, Flora."
He then left the room and Kammah flies over to see the necklace, "Wow! It's beautiful."
"Isn't it? I'll have to be careful with this prize possession." Flora said as she walks over to her bed gets in the covers.
She then took out her history textbook to review a little then something thoughtful she been thinking about, "Still, I don't get it. I know I'm not 5000 years old or Wepwawet, so... who exactly was that Luna Lupus in the papyrus?"
"Kwamis like me and superheroes like you have always existed!" Kammah floating in front of her.
"So...that wasn't you in the papyrus next to the other one either?" Flora questioned, pointed at the picture of Kammah next to Tikki in the book.
"What do you think?" Kammah asked.
Flora grin and scratch Kammah behind the ear with her finger, "You don't look 5,000 years old."
"(Giggles) Well, I'm not! I'm older than that! I'm the kwami who's watched over every single few Luna Lupus since the very beginning!" Kammah answered.
"Only a few huh? You must have known much less sensitive Luna Lupus' than me, right?" Flora frowned.
"Every Luna Lupus' is different." Kammah calmly replied.
"Yeah, that's what I thought." Flora sadly said.
"Flora, (lift her chin up) you are different. But different as in surprising, unpredictable and endearing. And very talented and free-spirited. You learn fast than you thought." Kammah dearingly said.
"Really?" Flora said in soft surprise.
"Yes. (Flora gently holding Kammah with both hands and kisses on her forehead) You better get to sleep. Remember, you have that history test tomorrow!" Kammah said then to remind her beloved owner.
"Oh yeah! Good thing it's on Ancient Egypt, my favorite history topic." Flora chuckled.
