Hello readers! As you are aware, there was a hurricane/tropical storm Beryl coming in my city soon and at first, I'm not sure if its going to take out the power or not. I'm fine during this upcoming preparation. I hope this storm is the same regular hard rain week and not worse as hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. Fact in life: Harvey flooded mines and my family's house.

UPDATE: Well, my predictions are correct, the tropical storm Beryl really hit us hard and the power of mines and my family's home went out, actually, a million all over the city and Houston had a power outrage, but only for hours before it went back just as the bright sun came out after the hard rain. So, we're fine.

Bad news, as some of you know what happened in Copa América, Colombia lost against Argentina in the finals. But the good news is Colombia national female soccer team are playing at the Olympics 2024 Paris. Hehehe, funny how they are doing it in Paris for maybe of Miraculous.

Oh speaking of that, I also watch the new chibi short of Miraculous, Good Sports, inspired for the Olympics in Paris.

Anyway, this is an original chapter based on a promise that Luna Lupus said to Cat Noir.

I do not own Miraculous, only Thomas Astruc and Jeremy Zag. I only own my OC.

Chapter 7: Moonlight Sparring

Flora's POV

López Estate Mansion's Garden

With the full moon tonight, I am waiting in the large backyard or garden in front of the new moonflower bush me and my dad ordered.

"Um with all due respect, Flora, but... why are you standing in front of white flower bud bush in the night?" Kammah questioned, floating close to one of the white flower bud.

"You'll see, just watch. I've been waiting for this moment since I bought this flower bush." I said with a wide smile.

Next, I look up at the night sky and saw a single cloud move to reveal the moon. The moonlight shines over the garden making it look so radiant, and speaking of radiant, I return to look at the white flower buds and I could see them blooming by the moment the light hit them.

"Oh my! How beautiful!" Kammah ecstatically said as flies around fast to see all the flowers.

"Aren't they? They're moonflowers, It's one of my favorite flowers. I have been fascinated by them since my father's advice about the moon's spirit I told you and of course, you-know-who (wink at her)." I said to my wolf kwami.

The wink I did was to mention her that I also into moonflowers because of being Luna Lupus. I thought it would be beautiful that moon will be part of me as a female wolf.

I graze lightly on the whole one petal with my right fingers, the softness tingles my skin, giving me a soft laugh of its beauty.

Kammah flew over to me to sit on my shoulder and we give each other giggles then leave the garden.

"Once they're ready in the morning, they make a wonderful fragrance perfume for my dad to create his next product." I said, intertwined my hands.

"Ooo, what's it called?" Kammah asked.

"'Lunar Blossom'. It's a perfect ring to it after we see those flowers bloom a moment ago." I replied, widely smiled.

Kammah softly cheer and clap her hands.

As I walk through the hallways, Kammah hide real quick when I enter the kitchen to grab a quick dessert. I saw Tía and John just finish one of my favorite desserts: Miguelitos, also known as Spanish cream puffs.

"Mmmmm Miguelitos!" I cheered as I rub my hands.

"Yup. Just finishing up of putting the cream filling." Tía said as she places three pieces on a small plate for me; 2 creamy custard-like filling and 1 chocolate filling.

"Thanks, auntie." I thanked.

"Did you know that your late abuela (grandmother) used to call your dad 'Mi miguelito', because of how much he loves these sweet treats when she made them and of course, your father's name?" She said with a knowing smile.

"Ugh! Don't tell her that! It's really embarrassing when you mention that to the people, especially her." Dad shouted, who just walked into the kitchen.

"Seriously though, really? She called him that?" I asked auntie.

"Hehe, yes." Tía answered.

"Wow. Never knew I would hear this about him of his childhood. Eh, I can relate to that for me and Oliver when our mom was like that." John said.

"Monica!" Dad whiney yelled.

"What? It's true. Mamá always called you that a lot." She shrug her shoulders with amused smile.

"That was when we were kids! It's a long time ago!" Dad exclaimed.

"Hahaha, I never heard that part from grandma, but I'm glad you told me, Tía." I said before walking out of the kitchen.

When I walk up on the grand staircase, I can hear them bragging about their childhood moments. I chuckled at that before I continue to head to my room. Once I arrive, I sat down at the desk to eat some miguelitos and share one with Kammah.

"They are delicious, Flora. Especially the chocolate one." She said.

"Thank you, Kammah, it was my grandmother's recipe." I replied with joy. "This night sure is exciting and interested."

"Speaking of excitement, aren't you excited to meet Cat Noir tonight?" Kammah said, raising her eyebrows.

"Tonight?... Ooooooh! Yeah, uh-our fencing sparring session." I nervously said, blushing.

Oh dear. I almost forgot that tonight is our fencing date-I mean hangout, I still haven't forget how I bring this up to him and accepted this and let me tell you, it went very... flustered.

~ Flashback; From last week ~

After helping a drowning citizen in the Seine from an akuma incident, the hero trio lands on top of one of the rooftops. Ladybug have to leave as usual because of her last spot of her miraculous, so this leave the two future lovebirds.

"Another accomplishment, huh Cat Noir." Luna Lupus said with a genuine smile.

"Yeah, hehehe." Cat Noir sheepishly replied while rubbing behind his head with his left hand. "Say um I know that you're probably busy, but I-"

"Actually, Cat, I'm... pretty much free next week. Um, remember that promise I said to you before." Luna Lupus shyly interrupted.

"Wait! You mean..." Cat Noir slowly surprised in realization.

"Yes, the sparring. I was wondering if we could do it next week, I mean if you are interested or not busy by that week." Luna Lupus said with her hands behind her back and sway her right foot sideways.

"No no, I'm free for next week, honest." He said before thoughted. 'I just need to finish my photoshoot and piano lesson fast.'

"Really? Great! I mean, good. So uh next Thursday night?" Luna Lupus sheepishly said.

"Sure, but where exactly?" Cat Noir asked in confused.

"Oh! Uh... (looking side to side) There! (pointing with her finger) At the Champs-Élysées." Luna Lupus said with a smile.

Cat Noir look at direction, sees the landmark, and grinned, "Okay, sounds like a plan."

Luna slowly walked up to him with sly expression, "Well, I'm looking forward to it."

Cat Noir smirked with his hand on his hip, "Me too... (he moves his belt-like tail and curl around Luna Lupus' waist to bring her close to press each other) ...more than you ever know."

Luna Lupus gasp and intensively blush at that move he did as their faces were so close together, noses barely touching each other. But, she returned her expression of smirk with one raised eyebrow, and raise her hand to his chest to push herself away from him.

"I'll see you on that day." She said, then turned her back and walk away, but stopped and turned her head over shoulder, still having a smirk. "Don't be late, kitty."

Luna Lupus winked at him, hops on the rail, and swings away with her whip. Leaving Cat Noir amazed when he rush over to the rail and sees her flipping in the air beautifully.

~ Present ~

To be honest, I'm having butterflies in my stomach as I am nervous about our... hangout. Every time when I look at Cat Noir, I get weak-kneed, and It's awkward. We barely know each other over the last month, and well, I feel like I've known him for a long time without even knowing. Maybe this night I'll get to know him more, oh speaking of.

I looked at the clock on the wall. 8:45 P.M. I gotta be there by 9, so I have 15 minutes to be there.

After done eating miguelitos, I stood up from my chair, walk to the double door entrance of my room, and lock the doors. Then, I hurried over to the double doors of the balcony and went outside on it.

Kammah followed me as I turned to her with a smile and I spoke, "Time to have a meeting with the cat. Kammah, let's howl!"

After I've transformed, I hopped onto the white marble rail, took a deep breath, then take out my staff, and threw my whip to one of the rails of the rooftop building. I flew away from my balcony and dash while leaping on rooftops one by one.

I feel the wind blowing through me as I run and it made me feel ecstatic and more... freedom. I couldn't help but glee for this moment to enjoy my night.

I leaped high in the night sky, "Wooo-hooo!"

Normal POV

The night is peaceful, not many traffic cars to honk through the night, and the city is filled with mix bright and dimmer lights glimmer of golden hue all over. No wonder Paris is called 'The City of Love'.

And, things are started to get more interested. Adrien as Cat Noir is hopping from one rooftop to the other while looking around to find a certain person that he is so wanted to meet and have fun with. He just finished his schedule as he planned so he can leave early, but also, found something to give to his special person which is hidden in his belt-like tail of his lower waist.

He dropped down on one rooftop in a crouch to take a breather, he checked his staff to check the time; 8:56 P.M, he's starting to get a little worried that he couldn't find her before meeting at the Champs-Élysées which he's almost there as he saw it from his distance. But then suddenly...

He heard a sound of running footsteps close by him, he looks up, and sees the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

Flying by above him in slow motion, almost in silhouette, Luna Lupus was in the air having a joyful moment. She had the brightest smile and give a laugh that softly echoed around her. With the biggest bright moon in the background, Cat Noir had his mouth open in awed as he sees her glow while her wavy hair and her wolf scarf-like tail blew softly ruffled by the wind.

She then lands on one roof, front flips with her hands on top of a small wall, and disappears from behind as she continues.

Cat Noir gaped for a moment then open smile while his green cat eyes glimmer like real emerald gems and turned his head to give himself a chuckle before leaps after her to follow.

Top of the Champs-Élysées

Luna Lupus has arrived on top of the Arc de Triomphe in her wolf crouch once she land.

She stood up from it and slowly walks around to see the view below the monument, she could see the Eiffel Tower light up like a golden statue, and makes her feel that coming back to Paris was actually a good idea for her civilian self.

As she was smiling at the view, she heard a thud landing. But instead of turning around, she just smiled more as she knows who it is: Cat Noir.

"I see you have come, gatito (kitty), I was beginning to worry you will stood me up." Luna Lupus said, still smiling without looking back.

"Stood you up?! No way! I would never do that to any girl... especially you." Cat Noir replied with a sincere smile.

Luna Lupus gaped while blush a little tinted pink cheeks, but vanish once she puts her head and clear her throat. She then turned to see him, Cat Noir was stunned by her beauty, he couldn't help but look at her eyes, her cute nose, and... her lips. Oh, how he so much wanted to touch it with his own lips. He doesn't know why she is so special to him, every time when he looks at her, his heart beats by a mile of minute and it tingles something within him, but maybe tonight he will know for sure.

"So, shall we get started on our sparring?" Luna Lupus said, raised her eyebrow and her hand on her hip.

"We shall, milady." Cat Noir replied, smirk.

From behind his back out of nowhere, he took out two rapier swords. It made Luna Lupus confused at the moment and say, "I thought we're going to use our weapons."

"Yeah, I thought about it, but since we're not in like a battle with a villain, I thought maybe we should do something simple." Cat Noir answered.

Truth be told, he is so eager that he really want their sparring to be a fencing type. Well, curiosity killed the cat.

"Hmmmm, okay." Luna Lupus said in thought before have a smile in return.

Cat Noir skillfully flipped one rapier sword and caught at the flat of the blade or Ricasso so she could easy grab the hilt grip, Luna Lupus grab from it.

"Can you use it?" Cat Noir nervously asked.

"Heh, of course I can." Luna Lupus smirked then give a skillful twirl and softly plunge it on the ground so she can sassily hold it on the pommel while her right hand is on her hip. "If you haven't notice, I know fencing when I was a little pup."

The black feline give himself a soft gasp in surprise as his same predict interest is correct from Stormy Weather incident. His lips turned to a tight white teethed smile then hold his rapier sword with his left hand.

"I'm surprised, although, I must warn you I'm not going easy on you. I'm a Professional." He proudly said with a cheesy grin.

The ice cool white wolfette returned her grin to him, "We'll see."

They get into their positions. Cat Noir gives two tiny feint at his opponent's sword which Luna Lupus, still smirking, blocks them before slash at her, but she dodge quick by just move her head. They move in a circle slowly then stopped. It's Luna's turn and she did the same attack, only Cat Noir dodge this time.

"Alright, no more Mr. Nice Cat Guy. I think that's enough warm up, it's time for excitement action." Cat Noir smirked, seductively.

"Ohohoho, you're on, naughty kitty. Prepare to meet your maker." Luna Lupus seductively smirked as well.

Now, what we have here is two heroes, two athletes, and they look to be too faraway to damage each other, but each time one makes even the tiniest feint, the other counters, and there is silence, and as they start to circle with their background of the big full moon to cover half of their body from the medium size of the moon.

(0:00) Luna Lupus and Cat Noir circling around with smiles and half lidded eyes, the black feline swings his sword twice to stretch while his snow angel professionally twirl hers and slash it down gently.

They start feinting here, feinting there, and finished teasing, begin to duel in earnest. Their swords cross, then again, again, and the sound comes so fast it's almost continual. Luna Lupus presses on, Cat Noir retreating back on a smooth marble floor.

(0:23) "You're using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?" Luna Lupus thrilled.

"I thought it fitting, considering the Saudi granite open floor." Cat Noir replied.

Leading him over the edge, Luna Lupus teasingly, "Naturally, you must expect me to attack with Capo Ferro."

And she shifts his style now, Cat Noir coping as best he can with a grin, "Naturally, (suddenly shifting again) but I find Thibault cancels out Capo Ferro, don't you?"

Cat Noir is now perched at the edge of the landmark. No where to go, Luna Lupus slashes him, but he dodges by jumping over her head with a simple flip.

She turns around to see him and stares at him.

"Unless the enemy has studied his Agrippa-" Luna Lupus playfully teased.

With the grace of an Olympian, she flies off the edge, somersaults clean over the Cat Noir's head, and lands facing his opponent.

"-which I have." She finished.

(0:44) Cat Noir grin and they continue to spar. Behind her now, drawing closer all the time, is the other side edge of the roof. Luna Lupus fights, ducks, feints, slashes and it all works, but not for long, as gradually Cat Noir keeps the advantage, keeps forcing her back, closer and closer to an almost death.

(0:55) "You are wonderful!" Luna Lupus said in a compliment happy as a clam.

Cat Noir smirked while still blocking her feints, "Thank you, I've worked hard to become so."

It's true he did after a few years of private or public lessons with his fencing master, The Cliff edge is very close now. Luna Lupus is continually being forced toward it.

"I admit it, you are better as I am." She admitted.

"Then why are you smiling?" Cat Noir teased.

Inches from defeat, Luna Lupus is, in fact, all smiles.

"Because I know something you don't know." She replied.

"And what is that?" He asked.

"I am not left-handed." Luna Lupus answered.

(Stop at 1:05 and repeat from the beginning)

(0:00) She throws her sword into her right hand and immediately, the tide of battle turns. Cat Noir stunned, doing everything be can to keep Luna Lupus by the roof edge. But no use. Slowly at first, he begins to retreat. Now faster, the cool white wolf is in control and the black cat is desperate.

Luna Lupus and her sword is all but invincible now, as he increases his attack, then suddenly switches styles again.

Nothing can stop her, and in a frenzy, Cat Noir makes every feint, tries every thrust, lets go with all he has left. But he fails. Everything fails. He tries one or two final desperate moves but they are nothing.

"You're amazing!" Cat Noir complimented.

"I ought to be after a few years on where I'm from." Luna Lupus stated.

Now, in the middle of the roof, they both at the same time clash and pinned each other swords in a 'X' with their faces very close between the hole of the upper 'X'.

(Pause at 0:44) The future lovebirds are staring at each others eyes that couldn't bear to look away. Deep within them, they hold strong feelings of inexplicable passion. This confused love is making either of them wanting to know more about themselves, especially Cat Noir. He is so crazy about her since Stoneheart incident.

As they are pressing their swords together so hard and struggle, Cat Noir just grinned while Luna Lupus has a smirk.

"There's something I have to tell you." Cat Noir grunted.

"Tell me." Luna Lupus ask in grunt.

"I am not left-handed either." Cat Noir replied while moving a little closer to her face.

(Play/Resume at 0:44) At the same time, they both grinned once more before pulling apart by force. They change hands, and at last, the battle is fully joined.

Then, Cat Noir use his counter technique on her, but Luna Lupus remembers that and did what she did back in Spain. When he did the counter, she smoothly duck, spin, and appears on his side with her sword underneath his jawline.

"Woah..." Cat Noir awed in frozen still.

Luna Lupus chuckle at his blank surprise face, "Surprise, kitty, well you should be."

"How did you do that?!" He exclaimed.

"Ah ah ah, top secret for a Hispanic person." She teased with a wink.

"Well, maybe you could teach me that move." Cat Noir flirting with a grin.

(0:56) "Maybe." Luna Lupus return the same gesture to him.

She yelled, "Hah!"

As she swipe her sword, Cat Noir duck again and jumps back. They continue to feint at each other, but this time in a fast pace. Faster and faster until Luna Lupus twirl around her sword fast to make a distraction and it did. Then she hooks his sword, throws it up in the air, and it lands on the side edge.

(Pause at 1:05) Cat Noir gaped at the sword on the ground before turning to Luna Lupus, who then give a sass little spin of her wrist the one with the sword in her hand and point the tip of the blade underneath his chin. She was grinning for her victory.

"Guess I won the duel." She said.

Cat Noir raise his hands in surrender with blank face expression for a moment, but quickly grin in knowing, "Or not."

Quickly, he smack the blade to the side and back flips away from her. He tried to get his sword back, but Luna Lupus caught him before he could. So he back kick the sword from her hand and stands up.

Her sword was in the air. Before Cat Noir could grab her, unexpectedly, their tails slightly tangled and they yelled by their fall, "Woaaaah!"

They fell on the ground, but once they opened their eyes, they gasp as they fall on to each other; Cat Noir was on top of her and Luna Lupus was below him with her arms spread.

'CLASH!'

Simultaneously, Cat Noir and Luna Lupus turned their heads to the side from the sound with their bewildered expression, the sword was sticking straight on the ground from the tip of the blade, close to their heads.

Slowly, Luna Lupus turned her head once more to face her feline partner, who he returns the gesture. They are both exhausted as they propped their elbows and one/both legs; Luna's are propped behind her back as one of her legs prop up a little and Cat's are front of him as both of his legs prop between her legs.

(Finish the duration of the harmony Spanish guitar)

They are heavy breathing to calm themselves, but their hot breaths are touching their faces, making them blush and hearts beat that they can feel it around their body at how close they are.

As they continue to glance at each other, Cat Noir hesitantly spoke to broke the silence, "Um-how about we-uh-let's say we called it a draw."

Luna Lupus blink her wolf eyes then shyly smile while looking around on one side to avoid his face, "Yeah, I-I-I suppose so."

Cat Noir rises himself up and gives her his hand. Luna Lupus takes it with a small smile as Cat Noir pulls her up.

She steps away from him a little and stands on the edge to see the view again, her black feline partner just walks next to her to have a moment with the view as well.

"Well, that was a... fun duel, wasn't it?" Cat Noir nervously said while blushing.

"Y-yeah, it is. I've never had this much of a date- I mean hangout that is fun for a long time." Luna Lupus replied in flustered, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger.

"Really?" He turned his head to her, who she gives him a reply with nod 'Mm-ph'. "Me too. I-I'm glad you enjoy yourself. (Picking up his sword) Maybe we should try this again sometime."

"Yes, maybe." She enthusiastically said.

Both of them stay quiet for about a minute until Cat Noir softly spoke in shyness, "Um, I got you something."

"Huh?" Luna Lupus sounded in confuse as she turned to him.

He took out something behind him, probably held on his belt tail, and show it to her. It made the beautiful arctic wolf heroine softly gasp in amazement.

It's a beautiful full bloom moonflower with light blue highlights, a perfect colors; white and light blue, to describe herself.

"For you, my moonflower." Cat Noir shyly said.

Luna Lupus blushed at the new nickname he called her and hesitantly raise her hand to take the flower by the stem. She smell the flower and euphorically stares at it as it smells wonderful.

"Um, thank you. It's beautiful." She replied in shyness.

Cat Noir shyly scratch behind his head while looks away, "Your welcome. I figured that you might like it."

Luna Lupus glance at him with fondly expression, "I love it."

They glance at each other then quickly turned their heads in blush and stood next to each other, everything was silence besides the wind until Luna Lupus spoke, "Well, um (twirling her flower on the stem with both hand fingers) it's getting late, I should get back home."

"Oh right, yeah me too, I got a lot of things to do first thing in the morning, but..." Cat Noir said.

He steps closer to her and gently takes her left hand. He then has a charming but gentle smile, he finished, "This has been the best night of my life and I can't wait to get to know you more."

As a gentlemen with his left arm behind his back, the one holding the sword, behind his back, he longingly kissed her hand which made Luna Lupus gaped and blush all over her face in deep red.

She almost feel the lips touching her soft skin through her suit, it gives her the spine to tingle. As she feels her hand cold from his lips away, she held her hand with the other close to her chest and smile.

Luna Lupus wanted to stay here with Cat Noir, but she's got a ballet lesson first thing in the morning and she needs some rest, "Well, I better get going."

When she turned to leave, Cat Noir gaped and outstretched his hand a little to her. He doesn't want her to leave, but just until Luna Lupus stopped at the edge.

"You know what, Cat Noir..." She said then turned her head and half her body to him. "I can't wait to get to know you more too."

The black feline softly gasp at her as an expression of hope.

She finished with a genuine smile, "See you again soon... guapo (handsome)."

She blew him a kiss by her hand which made Cat Noir feel the warmth inside with his mouth open, and back twirl jump off the edge of the landmark attraction.

Cat Noir rushed over to the edge to see Luna Lupus, she is falling upside down with her smile still remain. When she is almost to the ground, she takes out her staff to form her whip and swings away with flips in the air. At the last part, she beautifully front flip in front of the moon, right before his eyes.

With his love sickening smile, Cat Noir lifts his sword to prop the blade on the ground and holds it with both hands on top of each other on the pommel. He lays his chin and slightly tilt his head on top of his hands, all he did was stare longingly at the last sight he sees her and he breathlessly say one word in awe.

"Wow..."

Then, the weight of his body cause the blade to snap in half and made him lose his foot balance, but he fell on his back and funnily groan from the ground.

López Estate Mansion; Flora's balcony

Luna Lupus lands on her balcony and detransform, "Howl at the Moon."

After revert back to her normal self, she enter her room and give a strawberry for Kammah before get changing to her pajamas.

And once she finished, she came out of her closet room and unlock her entrance double door. When she walks away from it, she suddenly stop in the middle to think about the last hour with Cat Noir and slowly her lips turned into a VERY wide smile. So wide that it almost hurting her face. And her cheeks turn red once more.

Flora then release her a happy giggle then it turn to squeal while holding up her clench fists. She climbs onto her big bed and jumps up and down of joy, while that happens for a minute, it caused hair ribbon to release itself and let her slight wavy hair be free.

Then with one big jump, she fell on back with her arms stretch on either side, and softy laugh.

"I have never felt so happy in my life." Flora said.

"That's because you enjoy the night with Cat Noir, you two are getting well acquainted, but by the fencing language." Kammah said with a sweet smile, flew over to her head; face to face.

"Yeah, but it's more than that, Kammah, it's... (grabbing her heart-shaped pillow and hugged it with one arm as she holds the blue highlighted moonflower in her right hand) kind of romantic. It's like we were talking to each other without moving our mouths, well we talk bit by bit, but we understood each other." Flora sentimentally explained, laying on her side in a fetus position. "Like in a movie of two Spanish lovers, a bandit man and a wealthy woman who is raised by an evil governor, and they want answers from each other."

"Well, if you really felt this way with Cat Noir, you should cherish it for a long time to come." Kammah said before flew over to the other side pillow next to her owner.

Flora thought about it and decided, "Yes... I definitely will."

With a fond smile, she looks at the flower and smells it once more before putting it on top of her small jewelry dish tray that is on her nightstand with the photo frame of her and her mother.

She closed her eyes, almost fell asleep, and let her mind rewind the sweet moment that happen with Cat Noir.
