Unfortunately, Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes' wedding does not take place as planned due to an argument the evening before. Set at the beginning of Season 6, after Mrs. Patmore has clarified Mr. Carson's intentions and Mrs. Hughes declared that "he can have her." Attention: Some M rated chapters ahead!

Though they take an instant liking to each other, they both end up marrying different people. Twenty-four years later, under difficult circumstances, they meet again. Will love conquer all, or will their current spouses hold them back?
