The six turtles ran, leaping from building to building, having a blast.

"Check it out!" Donnie calls, doing tricks to the next building, Mikey following after and Cat giggling, as she does a cartwheel on to the building.

"Top that, turtles chumps!" Mikey calls to Raph, Leo and Mari from the other building, as the three glanced down. Mari narrowed her eyes at her little brother.

She smirks. "Watch it."

She does three flips before landing on the other side, leaving Cat, Mikey and Donnie gaping. Donnie claps.

"Way to go, Mari!"

Mari grins proudly and turns to look at Leo and Raph.

"All right, guys," Leo says, backing up a little bit. "Check this out."

He jumps on the building in a way that was even more impressive than Mari's.

"Woah," Mikey says in admiration while Mari rolls her eyes.

"Cute, kitties," Raph says, cracking his neck. He jumps toward them, not even doing any moves. Four of the others stare in shock as he crashes into them, while Mari leaps out of the way.

Mari laughs loudly as Raph knocks Leo, Donnie, Cat and Mikey over.

They all stood up as Donnie says, "What was that? You didn't do any flips."

"My tush hurts," Cat whined.

"Oops," Raph says, not seeming ashamed or sorry.

"That was awesome," Mari says, still laughing.

"Easy for you to say," Leo grumbled.

Mari shrugs. "Should've moved out of the way."

Suddenly they heard movement and the turtles became alert, and rushed behind a pillar and got ready to fight.

After pulling their weapons out, they came into view, preparing to use them, only to see a black and white cat there.

Meow.

"Don't give up, Leo," Raph teases, placing his hand on his shoulder. "You might actually win this fight."

Cat shudders, and hides behind Mari. She's irrationally afraid of cats. Mari gave her an annoyed look but didn't say anything.

Mikey, on the other hand, loves cats.

"Aww," he says, pushing past his siblings. "It's a little kitty. And it's name is—"

"Mittens!" a man from a window on the apartment called out.

"I think that's the owner," Donnie says.

Mikey starts to go over to him, before Mari grabs his arm.

"Where do you think you're going?" Mari questions.

"I'm returning Mittens to his owner," Mikey tells Mari.

"Are you an idiot?" Raph demanded. "Wait, let me rephrase that. You're an idiot!"

"You can't show yourself to a human," Donnie said.

"Why not?" Mikey says.

"Maybe because they're freak the fuck out?" Mari said harshly, narrowing her eyes at her baby brother. "Do you ever think?"

Cat frowns but kept quiet. She didn't like the way Mikey was being talked to by their older siblings, but she also didn't want anything bad to happen to him, which probably would happen if he showed himself to a human.

"I'm not so scary, they won't freak out," Mikey says.

"You're an ugly, green mutant armed with ninja weapons," Raph says.

"Look, this guy's gonna see that I'm just a regular, cat-loving dude like him. Next thing you know, we'll be best buds. This is gonna be awesome!" Mikey says, leaping off with the cat to return him to the man calling for him.

"No!"

"Mikey!"

"Don't!"

"Wait!"

"Idiot!"

"Mittens!" the man says one more time before Mikey appeared in front of him.

"Hi, here's your—"

The man screams before Mikey could finish. "Ahh! Ugly, green mutant freak!"

"But I got your cat!"

"Help! He's got my cat!"

"Dude, chill, I'm just—"

The cat attacked Mikey as he fell off of the building. The other five rush to catch up to him, feeling sorry for their brother.

Mikey stands up. "Someone want to help me with this?" he says sadly, the cat being on his shell.

"No," the others, even Cat, says.

Mikey removes the cat and throws it, a loud clang can be heard.

"Face it," Raph says firmly. "Humans will never understand you."

"Hell, we don't even understand you," Mari added.

Mikey sighs. "Yeah." He stared up and noticed a billboard and gasps. "But I bet that guy would!"

"Chris Bradford," Leo says, reading the billboard. "The material sets supervisor. With a chain of dojos across the country. He's your soulmate?"

"We've got so much in common," Mikey says.

"So do I ," Cat says.

No one paid Cat any mind.

"What if you stopped standing like that?" Donnie asked Mikey, who was standing like Chris Bradford was.

"We'll have a little less in common," Mikey admitted, "but still a lot. And look, he's in town for a martial arts expo. Maybe he'll show me his secret kata the death dragon and I'll show him my secret kata—"

"You don't have a secret kata," Mari interrupted.

"Yes I do, it's called the secret kata!"

"Catchy," Mari says sarcastically.

"Check it out!" Mikey says excitedly. He gestures some random moves. "But don't tell anyone you saw that."

"No problem," Leo said, humoring him while Mari rolled her eyes, exchanging annoyed looks with Raph.

"Face it, Mikey," Raph said. "Chris Bradford is the last person on Earth who would want to be friends with you!"

"Well, tied for last," Mari added, "with literally everyone else on Earth!"

Cat frowned. "Guys, don't be mean to him.." she said sadly. She and Mikey were the ones the others picked on, so they have to stick together. Aside from that, though, Cat too wished to make friends, but she knew that it was impossible, unlike Mikey. Still though, she didn't want to crush his dreams. As long as she stays as Mikey's best friend in the entire world.

"Shut up, Cat," Mari said.

Before anything else could be said, ninjas wearing all black surrounded them.

The turtles put their guard up.

"Ninjas?" Donnie questioned. "In New York, other than us?"

The six turtles pulled out their weapons. One of the ninjas threw a shuriken at Donnie. He deflected it and the ninjas charged at that and a battle began.

"Why are you so happy?" Raph asked, noticing Leo's smile as they fought.

"It's just nice to finally be fighting people, instead of robots or aliens or weed monsters," Leo answered.

Another ninja appears. He knocks Leo down, then Raph then Mari, as they all charged him. Mikey used his nunchucks but get thrown with them attatched. Cat charges but the ninja grabs her by her neck.

"What are you?" the ninja asked, sounding disgusted.

Is she really disgusting? Ugly? A monster, even?

That's what she wondered as Leo kicked the ninja, releasing Cat from his hold. She fell, her face into a frown. His words may not have meant anything if they were said to the others, but to her, they meant everything.

What are you?

The way he uttered those words...

Sirens can be heard suddenly. The ninjas retreats. Leo grabs onto Cat, as she was distracted, and the turtles left before the cops got there.

A part of Mari felt bad for Mikey. As cold and mean as she can be, she has a soft spot for her siblings, not that she would ever admit that out loud. Mari watched as Mikey read a Chris Bradford magazine, fangirling about how awesome he was.

"Oh, I wish me and Chris Bradford was friends," Mikey said, his eyes glued to the magizone. Mari sighed. She wished that her baby brother didn't hope for such impossible things to happen. That is bound to lead to heartbreak, and that was the last thing that Mari wanted for Mikey.

"Mikey," April said, chuckling. "You already have a human friend! Me!" She smiled as if that was enough.

Mikey stared at her blankly. "April, you don't count. We saved your life. You have to like us."

Mari snorted. "He has point," she said with a grin. She still wasn't all too fond of the redhead, mainly because of Donnie's crush on her—overprotective vibes. But even so, she was trying to be civilized with her. Leo and Splinter both had a talk with her and Donnie begged her to be nice.

"Too bad there's no place for freaks to meet people where no one can see how hideous they are," Raph said absent mindlessly, not caring how mean those words were. Though Cat would be the only one that actually cared about being called ugly—the others have come to terms with it.

Cat frowned, but before she could say anything comforting to Mikey or to snap back at Raph, April's eyes lit up.

"Wait, there is the internet!" April exclaimed excitedly.

"The what now—?" Mari said, narrowing her eyes at April. Donnie had told her what the internet was days ago, but she wasn't sure how the internet would help in this type of situation.

"The internet," April repeated, not noticing — or not caring about — Mari's hostility. "Donnie, can I see your laptop?"

Donnie chuckled nervously, clicking out of something —- was that a picture of April eating pizza? — before handing it to April.

Mari peered over April's shoulder. She sat right next to her and had Cat sit on her other side, so that Donnie couldn't sit next to her.

"Check it out," April said, pulling up a website. "It's a site where you can make friends with anybody online."

"Sweet!" Mikey says, taking the laptop and pushing April out the way, causing Mari to let out a snort. "Ohh. Chris Bradord's on here! He'll be my first friend!"

"But I'll always be your best friend, right?" Cat asked him. Mikey was all Cat has, since their siblings are so mean, and if he goes making tons of friends, where would that leave Cat?

Mikey didn't even answer his little sister and stared intently at the computer screen. Did he even hear her?

"Mikey," April said sweetly, "people don't always respond immediately—" The laptop beeps, causing April to stop short. "But sometimes they do."

Mikey gasps excitedly. "No way! Chris Bradford has accepted my friendship! I have a friend! Thanks, April," Mikey says, hugging April and throwing the laptop to the side without thinking.

Donnie gaped at Mikey, for hugging April or throwing the laptop, Mari wasn't sure.

Mikey stands up.

"Hey, where are you going?" Cat said, standing up and following Mikey.

"To hang out with my friend, Chris Bradford." Mikey grins.

"This guy's famous," April tells him. "He probably has a lot of friends." She used air quotation marks on the word friends, though that did not bum Mikey out.

"And guess who's number 5,286?" Mikey said with a huge grin on his face.

"You?" April and Mari said together. Mari scowled at the fact that she spoke at the same time as April. She did not like that.

"Daniel Ramires!" Mikey answered. Mari couldn't help but wonder who the hell Daniel Ramires was."And I'm right next to him. Later—"

"Wait!" Cat said, jumping up hurriedly, wearing a frown. "I'll go with you."

Mikey stared at Cat. "No, you can stay here," he said blankly.

Okay, that kind of hurt.

It must've shown on Cat's expression that he had hurt her feelings, because Mikey groaned. "Okay, fine, you can come," Mikey gave in. It didn't even take him long to change his mind, but then again, he has a soft spot for her younger sister.

"You guys can't leave!" Mari spoke up, narrowing her eyes and crossing her arms. "It's not safe."

"Mari, we're ninjas," Mikey said in a 'dub' tone.

Cat nodded. "Yeah, Mark," she agreed. "We'll be fineeee."

They both rush out before anyone could stop them. Cat only went incase it wasn't safe for Mikey. And so Chris Bradford couldn't replace her.

"Well, this outta be interesting," April said in an off handed tone.

Interesting?

Mari gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. This was all April O'Neal's fault, so she should probably shut the hell up before Mari decides to punch her in her ducking face.

"Should we go after them?" Donnie questioned.

"Yes," Mari said.

But Raph didn't agree. "Eh, they gotta learn somehow."

Mari glared at Raph. "You cannot be serious. They're Mikey and Cat," she says. "They're bound to get themselves in some type of trouble."

Raph sighs. "I understand that but they gotta learn. Now shut up about it." He rolled his eyes.

"Do you not care?" Mari huffed, but she didn't wait for Raph to reply.

Mari rolled her eyes and stormed to her room.

She lied on her bed and sulked. Stupid April. Stupid Mikey. Stupid Cat. Stupid Raph.

Everyone was so stupid.

Even Leo and Donnie even though they haven't done or said anything stupid yet.

She sat back up, trying to think about literally anything else.

But Mari had the nagging feeling that this would not end well for Cat and especially Mikey. He'll be left heartbroken if it goes badly.

Mari stood up and began pacing around her room. "Fuckers," she muttered to herself.

Cat and Mikey jumped down from a building, appearing right behind Chris Bradford, who was getting ready to leave his dojo. Mikey squealed silently, and Cat rolled her eyes.

"We should go," Cat hisses at Mikey.

"You can go," he said quietly, and then speaks up so Chris Bradford could hear him. "What's up? I'm—"

Chris turns around, startled, and starts throwing ninja stars at Mikey and Cat.

"I told you we should leave!" Cat says as they dodge his ninja stars.

"We're being attacked by Chris Bradford," Mikey said. "This is so cool!" He dodged some more. "No, wait. We're — woah, friends!"

Chris stops. "What?

"We're online friends! You accepted me, remember?" Mikey said, putting his hand over his chest and stepping closer, wearing a smile.

Cat tensed up, preparing to fight.

"Oh, of course, nice to meet you," Chris said, sticking his hand out to Mikey, who shook his hand happily. Cat wasn't expecting that, but after that, Chris looked disgusted, which only confused Cat further. He stuck his hand out for Cat. "Are we friends, too?"

Cat blinked. Friend?

She blushed and shook hands with him. Why was her heart suddenly beating so fast?

"Y-yeah... friends," she muttered shyly. Chris was kind of cute actually... he's a nice human... like April...

"Uh, won't you guys come in?" Chris said with a smile that Cat loved.

"They must have been watching us from here. The perfect place to stage an ambush," Leo tells his siblings, looking down from the building.

"It wasn't very fair, was it?" Donnie questioned.

"It's not about fairness," Leo said, agitated. "It's about victory."

"God, Leo, chill." Mari rolled her eyes while Donnie muttered an apology.

Meanwhile, Mikey was going on and on about Chris Bradford to Raph, while Cat was sitting down and giggling, just thinking about him.

"And then and then Chris Bradford put on his hakama. Man, that guy can rock a hakama!" Mikey was saying.

Raph was annoyed. "Yeah, maybe he'll wear it again when he takes you to the prom."

"Ooh, can he take me to the prom?" Cat asked, not realizing Raph was being mean.

"What?" Mikey said. "Cat, you can't go to the prom with my friend!"

"Well, he's my boyfriend!"

Raph smacked her for that one. "No, he's not." He looked at Mikey. "He's not, is he?"

"Duh! Of course not! Ewwww!"

Then Mikey went on talking about Chris Bradford.

"Oh, enough!" Raph said. "You've been going on about this for three hours."

"Yeah," Cat agreed. "Why are you so obsessed with my boyfriend, you homewrecker!"

"Cat?!" Raph exclaimed. "What shows are you watching?"

Mikey rolled his eyes. "Cat, you are delusional."

"Take that back!"

But instead, Mikey went to join Mari, Donnie and Leo. "If you don't want to talk about my friend — who is not Cat's boyfriend! — I got two more brothers and another sister that do!"

"Actually, I'd rather talk about anything else," Leo tells him.

Donnie nods in agreement.

"Yeah," Mari says.

"Fine," Mikey said. "I'll go talk to a guy who likes to talk about Chris Bradford more than anyone else: Chris Bradford!" He jumps off the building.

"Hey, wait for me—" Cat says, but Raph held her back.

"Stay put."

"Thank you, Raph," Leo said. "We really don't want to encourage her little crush."

"We are in love!"

"No, you're not!" Mari, Donnie, Raph and Leo all exclaimed.

"Yes, we areeeee!" Cat whined, and no one replied. Raph just continued to hold on so that Cat doesn't try to go after Mikey.

"Delusional bitch," Mari muttered, scoffing slightly.

"Meanie!" Cat said.

"Delusional," Mari said again. "Now shut up before I find a gag for you."

"Mari!" Donnie and Leo yelled.

"And then he kicks, twists, and sweeps the leg Ha! The death dragon!" Mikey says, showing his siblings the moves that Chris Bradford had shown him. Cat sulked, wishing that she had been there, Donnie, Leo and Mari were impressed, and Raph was suspicious.

"That was amazing!" Leo claimed.

"I wish I was there..." Cat said.

"Even I have nothing negative to say," Mari said.

"Yeah, it's devastatingly effective and complex," Donnie said thoughtfully.

"And yet even Mikey could learn it," Raph said.

"Thank you—hey!" Mikey realized that Raph was insulting him. The laptop started beeping, so Mikey rushed to check it. "It's Rad-Brad! That's my little name for him. He wants to get together for a little B-ball. Can't wait to find out what the "B" stands for!"

"You're going now?" Leo questioned, exchanging looks with Mari.

Sorry, dudes, human friend stuff. You know how it is. Oh, wait. No, you don't." Mikey chuckled.

"We have April," Mari grumbled, even though she doesn't like her.

"Does Chris Bradford wanna see me, too?" Cat asked hopefully.

"No, Cat, find your own friend!"

Raph and Leo were practicing the moves that Mikey had shown them, while the others watched, when Splinter walked in on them, and he did not like what he saw—which was Leo demonstrating the move on Raph.

"Where did you learn that?" Splinter bellowed furiously, startling the turtles.

"Hey, it's okay," Mari said. "Mikey learned it from his new friend."

"He's my boyfriend," Cat told Splinter. Splinter would have commented on that, but he was distracted by something else on his mind.

"The man who taught him that kata is no friend! It comes from the Shredder," Splinter claimed.

"Shredder?" Donnie questioned.

"The shredder?" Cat gulped. Her boyfriend was an enemy?"

"You mean Bradford is one of his students?" Leo asked.

"He must be," Splinter said as if it was bound to be true.

"Does that mean that he's just pretending to be Mikey's friend to get to you?" Mari asked, Leo having the same question in mind.

Splinter nods. "I'm afraid so."

"Oh," Cat said. "I am so breaking up with him."

Raph sighed. "Ohh what a relief! Everything makes sense again." Then his eyes go wide, realizing that something was wrong. "Mikey's in trouble!"

No one messes with their brother.

The turtles were all angry as they snuck into the dogo and defeated the foot soldiers. It was pretty easy, fueled by their overprotective nature of one of their own.

"Dudes!" Mikey said, happy to see his siblings. He was tied up. "That was sporadic!"

Leo, Donnie, Mari and Cat shushed him while Donnie facepalmed. "That's not what that means," he whispered at Mikey, as they untied him.

Leo rubbed Mikey's head, glad that he was safe.

They all left and entered the sewers, aware that they were being watched.

They waited in different hiding places, as Chris Bradford and the foot followed them. One by one, they were disappearing, as each of the turtles were grabbing people.

Until it was just Chris and Xever left.

Xever turned on his phone light and noticed the other ninjas were tied above them. "Show your faces!" Xever exclaimed.

Raph, Leo and Cat appeared from the waters, while Donnie, Mikey and Mari appeared behind them.

"They've trapped us! Take them down!" Chris said.

They began to attack. Leo, Cat and Raph take on Chris while Mikey, Mari and Donnie take on Xever.

"I'm breaking up with you!" Cat yelled.

"Huh?" Chris said.

They continued to fight until they switched opponents.

After they were cornered...

"They knew we were following them," Xever said.

"That's right," Mikey answered.

Mikey knocked Chris onto Xever, as Donnie and Leo turned a wheel, and water rushed toward them, knocking Chris and Xever down the drain.

"Well, that didn't seem very fair," Raph said. He didn't care, though.

"No, it wasn't," Leo agreed.

They all chuckled.

Mikey sat alone, as Splinter was going on about how it's just the beginning. During it, Raph came and comforted him. Once he got up, Mikey went to Cat.

"Hey, Cat?" Mikey said. "I'm sorry for how I was acting. You're my best friend."

Cat smiled. "Thanks, Mikey! So what did Raph want?"

Mikey grinned. "Oh, Cat—he's a big softie, let's go tease him!"
