Fragments of the shattered moon, glowing red as they enter Remnant's atmosphere.

Jaune: "He's insane...!"

Ren clenches his fists as he looks at the sky.

Ren: "He's proving a point through sheer destruction. Just like last time."

Yang grits her teeth, gripping her prosthetic arm tightly.

Yang: "And now we have to deal with this while fighting Grimm. Perfect."

Winter, Harriet, and the rest of the Ace Operatives stand in stunned silence. Elm swears under her breath, while Vine slowly shakes his head.

Marrow: "He really went and did it... He actually made the moon worse..."

Harriet crosses her arms, glaring at the sky before looking at Winter.

Harriet: "Do we still think Akira's a lesser threat?"

Winter: (ignoring her, activating her comms) "General, I assume you saw that?"

Inside the Atlas military base, Ironwood's grip tightens on his desk as the footage replays on the screens.

The tremors in the city above only escalate as more moon debris falls.

Ironwood: (grimly) "Yes. I saw it."

Watts scoffs, adjusting his glasses as he continues tinkering with Penny's systems.

Watts: "Well, I must say, MetsubouJinrai dot net certainly knows how to make an entrance."

Ironwood: (his voice colder than ice) "They just declared war. On Salem. On Atlas. On all of Remnant."

[ Elsewhere – Tsukasa and Woz ]

Inside a dimly lit room, a holographic screen flickers, replaying Akira's broadcast.

Tsukasa Kadoya sits with his arms crossed, his signature Camara over his neck.

Woz stands beside him, arms behind his back, watching the screen with mild amusement.

Tsukasa: (smirking, shaking his head) "I warned him not to go too far... and yet, he just shattered the moon even more. Talk about overkill."

Woz: (chuckles, tilting his head slightly) "It would seem this world's Zero-One, Akira is quite... theatrical. Almost as much as you Tsukasa."

Tsukasa: (rolling his eyes) "Tch. I don't do things that excessive."

He leans forward, rewinding the footage to Ruby's interrupted broadcast. His smirk fades slightly.

Tsukasa: "Little Red is putting everything on the line. But just talking about hope won't be enough. I think it's time I tested her myself."

Woz raises an eyebrow, intrigued.

Woz: "Ah, I see. The 'Destroyer of Worlds' wishes to challenge the one trying to unite them. Fitting, wouldn't you say?"

Tsukasa stands up, pulling out his NeoDecadriver.

Tsukasa: "One way or another, we're going to see if this world is worth saving."

As he activates an Aurora Curtain, a portal of grey and white swirls open in front of him. Without hesitation, Tsukasa steps through, disappearing from the room.

Woz watches him go, smiling slightly before closing his book.

Woz: (softly, to himself) "Oh, this will be most entertaining indeed."

The screen behind him continues playing Akira's speech—his declaration of war ringing across Remnant.

[ Sometime later: Schnee Manor ]

The tension in the room is thick enough to cut with a knife. Weiss glares at May, her fingers clenched into fists at her sides.

May crosses her arms, standing her ground. Blake looks between them, her ears twitching in frustration, while Ruby shifts uncomfortably, still gripping her cup of cocoa.

The glow from the fireplace flickers against their faces, occasionally interrupted by the red lightning flashing outside.

Ruby: "...This isn't helping."

Her voice is quiet, but it cuts through the tension. May exhales sharply, rubbing her temples.

May: "Then what does, Ruby? Are we just supposed to sit here, waiting for Atlas to collapse? Because that's what's happening, whether you want to admit it or not."

Weiss scoffs, folding her arms tightly.

Weiss: "And abandoning it will fix that?!"

May: "It'll save lives. Mantle doesn't have an army. It only has us."

Blake sighs, shaking her head.

Blake: "I hate that you're right. But…" She glances toward Weiss. "So is Weiss. We can't just let Atlas fall."

Weiss looks at Blake in surprise, but Blake just sighs, rubbing her temples.

Blake: "We're trying to fight a war on three fronts—Salem, the Atlas military, and now MetsubouJinrai dot net. I don't know how much longer we can keep this up."

That name silences the room. They had been avoiding it, but it lingers like a specter over all of them.

Ruby: (softly, staring at her cup) "Akira."

The name alone makes Weiss scowl, while Blake's ears twitch with barely restrained anger.

Weiss: "That monster of a terrorist kidnapped my sister."

Blake: "That monster brought Adam back."

Weiss and Blake exchange a brief, tense look, sharing an understanding of their mutual hatred. But Ruby just sighs, rubbing her temples.

Ruby: "I know what he's done. But..."

She trails off. The others wait for her to finish, but she just grips her cup tighter.

Blake: (frustrated) "But what, Ruby? You heard what he said. You saw what he did. He's out of control!"

Weiss: (coldly) "He shattered the moon, Ruby. He didn't just prove his power—he made things worse for everyone."

May: (crossing her arms) "And he gave us an ultimatum. Join or die. Doesn't seem like there's much left to debate."

Ruby bites her lip, staring at the rippling liquid in her cup. She can still hear his voice. That cold, unshaken confidence.

Akira (from the broadcast, echoing in her mind):

"Reality is cruel."

"Your strategy? It's like the size of this walnut. Except way smaller."

Akira: "You Huntsman idiots… your strategy? It's like the size of this walnut. Except way smaller. And you want to know what a real plan looks like?"

She squeezes her eyes shut, shaking her head.

Ruby: "He wasn't always like this."

Weiss scoffs.

Weiss: "Oh, please."

Ruby: (frustrated, looking up) "I mean it! Back in Haven, he was different! He helped us fight against the Cinder !

Ruby: He even…"

She hesitates, her voice faltering.

Ruby: (softer) "He even look like someone that could have been a friend."

Weiss and Blake both look at her incredulously.

Weiss: "That doesn't change what he's doing now, Ruby!"

Blake: (firmly) "He's not the same person. He made his choice."

Ruby: (clenching her fists) "But why? What happened to make him like this?"

Silence follows her words. None of them have an answer.

And then—

SHWOOOOM.

A swirling Aurora Curtain suddenly erupts in the center of the room, its shimmering colors casting strange shadows on the walls. Instinctively, Weiss, Blake, and May all reach for their weapons. Ruby's eyes widen in shock.

A lone figure steps through, clad in a long, black coat. He adjusts his twin-lens reflex camera around his neck before smirking at them.

Tsukasa Kadoya: "Just a passing-through Kamen Rider. Remember that!"

Everyone stares in stunned silence.

Weiss: (stammering, lowering Myrtenaster slightly) "Who…?"

Blake: (ears twitching, wary) "You're… not with Akira, are you?"

Tsukasa shrugs, looking utterly nonchalant.

Tsukasa: "Akira? Oh, you mean the guy who thinks blowing up the moon is a conversation starter? No, I'm not with him. But I am here because of him."

He casually steps forward, hands in his coat pockets, before glancing around the room with a critical eye.

Tsukasa: (grinning, muttering to himself) "Huh. Not bad. Better than some of the places I've stayed in."

May, still tense, grips her weapon.

May: (flatly) "That's great. Now tell us who you actually are and why you're here."

Tsukasa clicks his tongue, shaking his head.

Tsukasa: "Man, you people have no patience. Fine, fine."

He reaches into his coat, pulling out a Rider Card—one depicting a magenta-armored figure with glowing eyes.

Tsukasa: "Name's Tsukasa. Kamen Rider Decade. And I'm here to see if your world is worth saving."

The room falls silent again.

Ruby, still holding her untouched cup, watches him carefully.

Ruby: (slowly) "…Worth saving?"

Tsukasa nods, slipping the card back into his coat.

Tsukasa: "That's right. And judging by the mess I just walked into?" He smirks. "You guys really don't have much time left."

Tsukasa: So how about a little test ?

Outside, red lightning crackles again, illuminating the falling debris of the shattered moon.

[ Small Time Skip: Ruby's Test ]

Ruby swallows hard, gripping Crescent Rose. The tension in the room is palpable. Weiss and Blake exchange wary glances, while May remains tense, her fingers still brushing against her weapon.

Ruby: (narrowing her eyes) "A test…? What kind of test?"

Tsukasa smirks, pulling a Rider Card from his Ride Booker and flipping it between his fingers. With a flourish, he holds it up for Ruby to see.

The magenta-armored warrior depicted on it almost seems to glow under the flickering light.

Tsukasa: "It's simple, really. Ten seconds. All you have to do is hit me once."

Weiss frowns, stepping forward.

Weiss: "Wait just a minute—who put you in charge of testing Ruby?!"

Tsukasa waves her off with an easy grin.

Tsukasa: "Relax, princess. This isn't about me. It's about her." (gesturing to Ruby) "She's the one clinging to hope. She's the one still looking for something human in Akira." (pauses, smirk fading slightly) "But talk is cheap. And if she really believes in what she's saying, then she needs to prove it."

Ruby clenches her fists. She knows what he's doing, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

Blake: (murmuring) "Ruby… you don't have to—"

Ruby: (firmly) "No. I'll do it."

Blake and Weiss both look at her in alarm, but Ruby has already stepped forward, Crescent Rose unfolding into its scythe form.

Tsukasa grins.

Tsukasa: "That's the spirit."

With a flick of his wrist, he slides the "Decade" card into his NeoDecadriver.

Tsukasa: "Henshin."

NeoDecadriver: [ Kamen Ride: Decade ! ]

A white glow erupts around him, transforming him in an instant. His black-and-magenta armor gleams under the room's dim light, the barcode-like markings across his body shifting subtly. His green compound eyes shine with an almost amused glint before the Magenta color appears.

Weiss instinctively steps back, gripping Myrtenaster.

Weiss: (uneasy) "That armor…"

Blake: (muttering) "He's serious about this."

Tsukasa tilts his head, rolling his shoulders as if getting comfortable.

Tsukasa: "Alright, Ruby. Let's see what you've got."

Then, he pulls out another card.

Tsukasa: "But let's make it more interesting."

He slides the next card into his belt.

NeoDecadriver: [ Form Ride: Faiz Axel ! ]

A flash of red circuits streaks across Decade's body, altering his armor slightly. His form shimmers with speed, and the digital display of the SB-555W Faiz Axel module activates.

Ruby's eyes widen in alarm.

May: (startled) "What the—?!"

Weiss: (shouting) "Ruby, wait—!"

Tsukasa: (grinning) "Ten seconds. Starting now."

SB-555W Faiz Axel: [ Start Up ! ]

And then—he vanishes.

No, not vanished—moved. Faster than anything Ruby has ever seen. A blur of red light streaks past her, and before she can react, a gust of displaced air nearly knocks her off her feet.

Ruby: (gasping) "He's—!"

Her reflexes kick in. She pushes off the ground, propelling herself upward with her Semblance just as Decade reappears behind her. She swings Crescent Rose, but he's already gone.

Another streak of red. Another sudden shift in position.

Weiss: (watching in disbelief) "He's movements I can't react to it—!"

Blake: (clenching fists) "Ruby can't keep up…!"

Ruby grits her teeth, forcing herself to focus. If she just relies on her eyes, she's already lost.

She closes them.

Tsukasa moves again. Another blur of red. Another sharp displacement of air.

And then—Ruby moves.

With a burst of petals, she redirects her momentum, twisting in midair before he even appears.

Tsukasa: (murmuring, amused) "Oh?"

Crescent Rose swings.

But—clang!

Decade catches the blade with his bare hand.

Ruby's eyes snap open in shock.

Ruby: "No way—!"

Tsukasa smirks beneath his helmet. The timer on his Faiz Axel display reads [ 00:01 ].

Tsukasa: (calmly) "Time's up."

SB-555W Faiz Axel: [ Time Out ! ]

In an instant, the red aura dissipates, and Decade releases Crescent Rose, stepping back.

Ruby lands, breathing hard. Her hands tremble slightly against her weapon's hilt.

Weiss and Blake rush to her side.

Weiss: "Ruby, are you alright?!"

Blake: (checking her over) "Did he hurt you?"

Ruby shakes her head, still staring at Decade.

Ruby: (softly) "I couldn't even touch him…"

Tsukasa chuckles, crossing his arms.

Tsukasa: "Interesting. Most people just flail around."

Ruby's grip tightens.

Ruby: "But I still lost."

Tsukasa tilts his head, considering.

Tsukasa: "Yeah, you did."

Blake scowls.

Blake: (annoyed) "Then what was the point of this?! Just to humiliate her?"

Tsukasa shakes his head.

Tsukasa: "No. To show her reality."

Ruby looks up sharply.

Tsukasa: "You wanted to believe in Akira, didn't you? You wanted to believe there's something human left in him. That there's a way to stop this without just more fighting."

Ruby swallows but doesn't answer.

Tsukasa gestures at himself.

Tsukasa: "Well, this is the difference between someone hoping for change—" (gesturing toward Ruby) "—and someone who forces it."

Ruby's breath catches.

Tsukasa: "You don't have the luxury of waiting for an answer, Ruby. Not anymore. And if you can't even hit me, how are you supposed to stop someone like Akira?" (pauses) "Someone who's already stopped holding back?"

Silence fills the room.

Outside, another flash of red lightning crackles across the sky, illuminating the wreckage of the moon.

Ruby looks down, her fingers tightening around Crescent Rose.

For the first time, she isn't sure if she has an answer.
