Summary: When Odalia causes Luz to be on the brink of death, it's up to Lilith and Eda to save her... with some unforeseen consequences.
Amity, Willow, and Gus helped Luz back to the Owl House. Ever since they left the auction Luz has looked more sick by the minute.
"Luz, are you okay?" Amity asked.
"I'm… fine." Luz said, "I'm just… tired."
Luz's vision started getting fuzzy and her eyes rolled back into her head. Amity was quick to grab her so she wouldn't fall down.
"What happened to her?!" Willow demanded.
Amity looked over Luz and saw a small needle sticking out of her arm. Amity quickly knew what this is.
"Poison." Amity said, "My mother is actively trying to kill her!"
"We have to get her to the Owl House, now!" Gus said.
They brought her to the Owl House and practically kicked the door open.
"Lilith, Eda, we have a problem!" Amity said.
Eda immediately noticed Luz and started to panic.
"What happened to her!?"
"My mom poisoned her! We have to do something!"
Eda brought her over to the couch and laid her down. Eda started to look over Luz and recognized the effects of the poison.
"This is Nerium oleander Poison, created from a Nerium Oleander flower." Eda said, "It has no cure."
"There has to be something we can do!" Amity said.
"Maybe there is." Lilith said, "Edalyn, you know the spell I use to share pain, right?"
"Yeah, you've used it a lot."
"Well, I know one similar. One that can transfer some of my energy into her." Lilith said, "I should have enough magic left to perform it. The only problem is, if I mess up... we could both die."
Eda looked between Luz and Lilith. On one hand, this could save Luz, on the other... both Luz and Lilith would die. She was running out of time, she had to make a decision now.
"Do it." Eda said, "Please save her... and don't die."
Lilith walked over to Luz and pressed her head against Luz. She started to whisper something and both their eyes started glowing. A blue wisp came out of Lilith's mouth and went into Luz's mouth. After a few minutes, the glowing died down and Lilith collapsed to the floor. Eda ran over and shook Lilith.
"Lily!? Lily, can you hear me?!"
"It's... hard not to. You're loud." Lilith said, very tired.
Eda helped Lilith up and helped move her to a chair. Luz started to wake up and looked around.
"What... happened?" She asked.
"We can talk about that later, Kid. Minty, help Luz upstairs." Eda said, "She needs to go to sleep."
Amity helped Luz upstairs and laid her on her sleeping mat.
"Are you feeling okay, Luz?"
"I'm fine. Just tired." Luz said.
Amity left and Luz went to sleep, completely unaware that a few feathers popped out of her arm.
