Summary: Luz managed to save Eda from being petrified, but at the cost of her only way home. Now she needs to find out what Belos is planning, but she may not like what secrets she learn about her family.
Luz ended the video for her mom and tapped out the ball of light. She laid on her sleeping bag and looked at the ceiling. She just fought the Emperor and won. She saved Eda from being turned to stone, she managed to reunite the Clawthorne sisters, she did stuff that no one thought possible. That should make her happy. But... she lost the portal in the process. She was stuck here, with no way home, no way to see her mom again.
"Hey, Kid, you alright?"
Luz looked at the door and saw Eda leaning against the doorframe.
"I... don't know."
Eda walked over to her and sat next to her. She put an arm around Luz and pulled her close.
"You'll see your mom again. I promise." Eda said, "I don't know how, and I don't know when, but you will see her again."
"How? I destroyed the portal, without it, I have no way home." Luz said.
"I don't know, but we can worry about that later." Eda said, getting up, "Get some rest."
Eda walked downstairs, where Lilith was sitting on the couch, wondering how Luz managed to beat the Emperor when Belos could've killed her with a simple snap of the fingers.
"So, Lily, anything you know about the Emperor that we need to know?" Eda asked, "Any dirt on him?"
"The Emperor has a hidden secret. One that only a select few are allowed to know."
"What is it?" Eda asked.
Lilith looked at her younger sister, knowing that she's about to reveal something that might be seen as a conspiracy.
"Come on Lilith, what do you know about him?"
"You mean... what do I know about HER."
In the castle, Belos was looking at the destroyed portal. It would be months before it would be fixed.
"Kikimora." Belos said.
"Yes, Milord?"
"I am going to my quarters; I am to not be disturbed."
"Of course, Emperor."
Belos walked away and didn't stop until she was in her room. On the desk, was a large mirror, with a picture taped to it. Belos looked at the picture.
"I'm impressed, you have grown stronger. If only you joined me instead of a criminal."
Belos looked at the picture and reached up to remove the chipped mask. Belos took off the mask revealing... Camila Noceda. The picture in her hand was a newborn Luz, the "Princess" of the Isles, and now... one of the biggest enemies to Camila's empire.
"Stay out of my way, Mija, I don't want to have to hurt you."
