Over at a camp going to a mountain, Terra finished telling Leon what happened and saw more disappointment in his eyes. "People can become so petty. Acting like these pokemon all came here because they wanted to." Terra nodded and felt the disgust. "That's what I picked up, thinking that because a Lion is in charge of the Pridelands, they have more rights over the others and got upset when their king got what was coming to him by the real heir."

Leon puffed his cheeks. "Which is why they never bothered talking with me. All that did was give you time to set up the trap." Terra appreciated the convenience. "It was a lot of lions, but these guys have them out matched. Once that Donphan showed up, we just had to avoid getting killed." Leon thought out loud. "And then Obstagoon was what sent those lions back on the run. Speaking of which, I saw that he knocked you to the ground, what did he do?" Terra remembered the swift defeat. "I think he had one of those orbs you talked about, it went with his ability and the move facade. He can block some heavy stuff, scream to your ear and go for that finisher!"

Leon had a gasp and put a paw to his face. "Oh my goodness! That's the move, Obstruct. It gives that flame orb time to do it's thing and if you rushed him like you did, he would cut a bit through your defenses and follow with an empowered facade while you were wide open. He was prepared for some fights."

He sighed to the learner. "When we're done here, you're going to have a little school work so that doesn't happen again." Teddiursa jumped and yipped. "That's not the worse part, I think Obstagoon's planning on going after Simba!"

That was something the boy knew for certain. "Once he has his fill on that challenge with the Great Tusk. Speaking of that, are you certain that Donphan looked like the one from the book?" Terra remembered the picture. "Now that you brought it up-" He flinched in surprise. "he does."

Leon cursed his luck for missing out on that chance as Terra imagined. "That Great Tusk was getting annoyed with Obstagoon, so he might have something in store to knock some sense into him. It's bigger than the Donphan and looks like it's part dinosaur." The Espeon blinked, opened his mouth and was lost to a puzzle. "That doesn't make a lot of sense, how did an ancient Donphan like that make it all the way here through the wormhole in the first place?!"

He hurried to the Moltres looking back to where the herd came from. "Pō our mission here is about done, but Simba needs to be warned about this. Nothing good is going to come out of Obstagoon's behavior if he strokes that ego even further!" The Moltres nodded and took off while the Kingambit crossed his arms. "That Linoone didn't change since he evolved, little fur ball tried to tackle me good and that went about as well as you'd expect." Terra asked the bladed one. "Then why didn't you or the others stop him?" Marowak answered with a bone tap. "Because we told him to run once we saw the darkness in the volcano. We needed to find a way to survive out here."

Kingambit nodded. "And out here, without a pack to call your own, strength and brains are all that matters. If you don't use those, you're dead meat." Terra gasped. "So that's why he's going about this? He thought if he make that gang, the lost pokemon would have a chance at escaping to somewhere better?" Farigiraf nodded. "Some of us journeyed to the Pridelands, to try and call for help, while the rest of us tried to last out here." She appreciated Marowak and Xatu's efforts as the Kingambit raised a hand. "Wouldn't be an issue if I had my clan with me, we've survived worse."

He looked over to the Volcano. "Two more pokemon are by the Volcano and another of us is keeping this... Guzzlord on watch. We don't got a lot of time before all hell breaks loose again." Leon agreed. "That will leave the Guzzlord, Zygarde, Great Tusk, Obstagoon and his gang. Terra, there's only one mound to speak of around here and it's back with those termites. Can you leave the fire types to me? Mahi Mahi can make a point for anyone else who is dumb enough to live there."

After hearing about how Leon and his group handled the lions, Terra had every good reason to count on the youngsters competence. "If you do that, we'll give Obstagoon time to head to the mound."

The tone gave Leon quite the honor, he requested. "Oh and before we get prepared, there's something we found that Scyther might be interested in. Bring him here." Terra thought nothing of it and called Scyther over, the mantis was sharing a story with Flamigo, Dodrio and the Cadet. "And then those cats didn't stand a chance." Flamigo hopped in relief. "Buen viaje."

"Hey, Scyther, the kid's talking about you. You got a minute?"

The Scyther ended the story and flew over. "He found something I'd know about?" That is quite specific, Leon showed the bag with the sharp pointed stone. "Scyther, on our travels, we found something that looked a lot like black augurite. You know anything about it?"

The mantis shrugged. "News to me." Terra asked. "Black what now?" Pueo pointed to the stone. "A sharp stone that was under the words of the Unown, with the instructions to bring it to Scyther."

Teddiursa had a look at the augurite and gasped. "I know of this stuff!" Scyther turned sharp. "Kid, what does it do?" Teddiursa tapped her hands together in a clap. "When a Scyther touches it, they can evolve into the bug with the great axes!"

Leon passed a history lesson. "It is said, that before the discovery of the Metal Coat, that there was one pokemon that a Scyther can become. A bug with skin as hardy as stone and having the strength to fall thick trees with one blow. It is believed, that this pokemon was an ancestor to Scizor."

Teddiursa ushered the name.

"Kleavor!"

She looked up to the two that were speechless. "If that augurite was marked by the Unown, then it's got to be the real deal." Leon took the stone out and presented it to the lion. "If this is anything like Scizor, a Scyther is giving up speed for more power. But, given the way you fight, I think a pokemon of stone could be a better compliment. If you two want to delve into this old legend... you have the choice now."

Scyther cringed to that idea. "Already? But if I evolve, I can't change back!" Terra felt the doubt. "Things won't be the same again." He took the stone regardless. "Once you take that path, nothing is ever the same again. The first step is always the scariest."

Leon felt a little nostalgia from his first stay as a trainer. "But after that, you'd find out that nothing much has changed with you or the world. The choice is between you two now." Scyther looked upon the stone with a heavy gaze, but he wasn't saying no. Leon readied for his task. "Pueo and K'ui are going to keep put and watch over these pokemon. Crabominable might be able to cool himself, but a volcano's just too much. What are you going to do?" Terra thought in hope. "If Obstagoon is keeping his word, then we're going to have a lot less of the heartless showing up. So here's how we're going to get moving."

At Gravity Falls.

It was the late afternoon and Aqua was surprised by how eager the Pine twins were to accept the invitation. Mabel and Swirlix were hopping around the woods while the tag along pig, Waddles, was looking more refined in comparison. Dipper had a note book out and was observing with Phantump. "So we have five pokemon that are confirmed to be out here and two of them are above the weight class?"

The Keyblade Master nodded. "Yep. They're free to use our base to rest, but out here... they're fair game. I think three of those guys are a little easier to handle in comparison." Cyndi and Petilil were sniffing around as Ven, Virtu and Shadey were searching through the high ground of trees. Swirlix caught something in her nose and halted her play, she went a particular direction, felt a familiar scent and barked. Dipper was looking to the ground, found footprints that came to the right and went ahead to where Swirlix was barking. He gestured quiet and judged by the size and freshness. "Something was just here!"

Phantump looked upon them and followed his eyes to where Swirlix and Waddles were heading as Mabel gave a quiet enough cheer. "Hurray, we're finally finding a pocket buddy!" Cyndi cringed as Dipper put a finger to his lips. "Be more quiet, they can still hear us." Mabel was nearly silent. "We've found one." Aqua's face contorted in amusement as the twins hurried along, following the trial towards a cluster of pine trees. Dipper and Phantump noticed in sync, the odd sight off, an acorn that is wedged into the ground. Dipper squinted his eyes. "What's an acorn doing over here?"

The group didn't take long to realize what that meant as the boy brought out a nest ball and tossed it, it tapped at the acorn and opened to bring it in. Bop! Bop! Bop! Shake...shake...shake... click! Ven gave an impressed whistle. "Dang," Aqua remembered why that would make sense. "I seen this in some nature books, pine trees drop pine cones, which hold pine seeds."

Dipper shrugged and picked up the nest ball. "So, that acorn walked here on it's own." He let out a Seedot that turned and hopped in excitement. Mabel giggled. "Pretty sneaky, so who else are we tracking?"

Ven recalled the two pokemon Kit had with him. "I think the other two are a floating disk of psychic power, called Bronzor and some bear called Stufful." He noticed something glimmer in a corner of his eye and checked on it as Aqua explained the logs she's read. "Let's see, there's no telling what a Bronzor does since the dex says it came from ruins. But Stufful is a different story. They look cute and cuddly, but they're actually strong brutes who would toss you around if you try pouncing on them. How are you going to approach this?"

Dipper listened to some details. "Since you put psychic in there, he's going to see us coming. But, I think Phantump should make things a lot easier." Mabel snickered. "I'll bet Stuffel and Sweet Puff will get along!" Aqua considered that a possibility. "If you can catch it."

Ven got to a point where the glimmer was more defined, a reflection of something. A crystal pillar with a cave entrance, in front of it was a Stufful who was so astonished he was knocked to his rear, and a Bronzor that spun to chime. (Anomaly! Anomaly!) It turned in a spin and glowed it's yellow eyes. (Detection!)

Ven raised his hands with his partners. "Hey, hey! We're still cool. Was this always here?" Stufful waved his arms in frustration as Shadey puffed into a form of a young Sora, who knew what was said. "That sprang up a second ago." The entity smiled. "You want to check it out?"

Bronzor chimed yes as Stufful noticed a pig and Swirlix coming over, the bear gave a whine. Ven's brain short circuited from the window of time he had to control the damage as his squad arrived, completely bewildered by the sight. The teenage boy point his thumb to the place. "Dipper, Mabel, do you know what this is?" The young boy brought out a journal with a six fingered hand on the cover and the number 3. "Let's see." He skim read and got to a size changing crystal before going to the end. "Nope." He closed the book shut. Shadey tilt his head in mischief. "You want to go figure out what it is?"

Mabel was hypnotized by the glimmer. "Heh, heh. Pretty crystal!" Aqua had her mentor instincts mix in with her curiosity. "Very. But first things first, these two need to be kept safe so they don't get caught in something. Now's a good time to learn how a battle happens!" Mabel hollered. "Sweet Puff, let's make more friends!" Swirlix floated fast as Stufful squeaked in peril and rant to a tree as a way to make a stand.

Dipper sighed. "Well, it's nice knowing them. Phantump, let's try and get this done right." Phantump sighed and floated to a Bronzor that was completely confused at the pure chaos. Mabel ordered. "Give that Stufful some sugar!" Swirlix was a tad confused, gasped and floated to the Stufful, inviting him to join in the game.

The bear was hesitate, but thought to play a light game of tag. Mabel puffed her cheeks at something she didn't order as Dipper was a little relieved. "Use will-o-wisp and we'll be a scream away to getting this done." Phantump conjured the wisps and had them scorch the Bronzor that tilted horizontally and spun fast for some payback, knocking the spirit to a tree. He wailed in astonishment and looked away from a hypnosis spin. Dipper followed fast. "Confuse him!"

The Phantump conjured a ray that sent the Bronzor flying off course and to a tree, hurting itself and exposing it to a nest ball capture. While that was happening, Swirlix was realizing Mabel meant something else and apologized to the Stufful, that was figuring out the off sync. Swirlix blew a fairy wind and Stufful countered with a bull rush of strength that sent the fairy bouncing to the tree and flying right back. Swirlix blew another gust of fairy wind and Stufful followed with a brutal swing that took a dent out of a tree. Mabel sneaked behind the havoc and tossed a nest ball for a fast capture. The two balls landed at the same time, shook three and clicked. Dipper was left amazed. "That was pretty intense, nice one!" Phantump blushed and turned while Mabel grabbed the ball and waved. "You all saw that! You're all next!" Cyndi groaned in annoyance.

(That's a sure way for a pokemon to run from you!)

Aqua felt something in an agreement with her partner and pleaded. "Easy, that's why you two are starting off with one pokemon out here. But for this expedition we need all the help we can get." Dipper and Mabel let out a Bronzor that was completely scrambled in the mind and a Stufful that wasn't amused with who he was stuck with. Aqua gave the two a fast heal and promised the duo. "By all accounts, these are your trainers, but when this is over, you're going to come with us until tomorrow. Deal?"

Stufful whined a thank you and stood by her leg as Bronzor floated to Dipper in curiosity. Ven gave the Pines credit for the capture. Ven will give the two credit. "That's three of the pokemon we spotted, tracked down and caught. Just give it time."

Dipper approached the cave and found a spiral slope going into a world of mists, bringing more questions than need answers. "This is going to go straight into the earth!" Phantump and Bronzor hovered over the mist as Waddles had a sniff and immediately took a step back. Mabel petted the pig. "Come on Waddles, we're not leaving you out here again." The Pines lead the way in as the Wayfinders and their partners followed down, into the strange unknown.

Back at the Outlands

Leon and his selected duo of Marowak and Swampert, marched onto a land of ashes and smoke. The Espeon looked to his Z Powered ring and contemplated, the Swampert grunted. "Do you think we can get away with catching Guzzlord, like we did with Luna Kaua?"

Leon shook his head. "Not if he's in a place with too many locals witnessing it. That world order is delicate for a reason, because otherwise I wouldn't have been turned into this. BUT the world is allowing this to reveal itself for a reason." He thought about it as Marowak guessed. "You need it to send Guzzlord away from these lands?"

Leon nodded. "As a catalyst for the light of Z Power." He gasped. "A light that a Keyblade might be able to use. If that's the case, then Terra has exactly what we'll need. We'll just have to try and get Guzzlord to go over and at the state he could be in, he won't go willingly. Especially since I got exposed to that light myself and makes me a Faller. Which is a fancy word for, Ultra Beast bait. He'll think I'm the way home." Marowak lifted his head up with regret. "No one should have to go through those kind of ordeals in one day."

Leon agreed with the Marowak. "As terrifying as he is, Guzzlord has to be as scared too." The band spotted, by a burnt brush, a scuffle between a coal tortoise, an orange dog and a yellow bellied monitor lizard. The lizard rushed after the dog in a fowl temper. "No one calls me a shortie and gets away with it!" The dog barked. "I said, short fused!"

The lizard hissed and charged, the tortoise intercepted with a rapid spin, the lizard was too bull headed to take a loss and sprinted around, taking a flame charge from the dog and biting on a leg, inflicting paralysis. Leon felt he seen enough and fired a psybeam at the lizard, knocking him to the ground and making him turn. "Who threw that?"

Leon gave a glare as Mahi Mahi sprinted to the lizard on all fours and looked down upon him. "You want a fight with someone bigger? Because I can do that." The two had a stare down that lasted until the lizard realize this was a fight he wasn't going to win, he scurried off as Leon readied a full heal salve and applied it to the dog. "Don't worry Growlithe, that lizard's out of here. We can leave."

The pup gave a whine as the tortoise blew out smoke. "It's been nothing but that since we tried to wait here!" Marowak grunted as the Espeon helped get the dog on the Swampert's back. "It's for the best, that we find our own home, somewhere." Leon didn't wish to spoil too much and considered the small complication to the larger mission. "Once we have everyone, we can make the next step more manageable. We know some people who are going to be in for a work day."

The group returned back to the camp; Pueo, K'ui, Xatu and even the Kingambit were the first to greet them. The owl hooted. "That was fast, so how are we going to do this?" Leon looked to the herd of Nido's, the birds, Venonat and the Durant that was left behind to serve as an ambush. "We need to tell those back at the Pridelands, what we've uncovered and we need to be there as soon as possible. Thankfully, we have a friend who knows the way of teleportation."

Xatu waved his wings. "Indeed! I could transport this many at once, but we need to be sure that we haven't left anything behind." Leon was certain and flashed a beacon for the surrounding pokemon. "Terra's managing the rest and the few that aren't with us are with Obstagoon. We are a community of our own, so if some hope arrived, that word will spread."

The Nido duo held hand in hand while their pack lined up, the Nidoqueen grunted. "What you called us for?" Leon had the image of a watering hole in his mind. "We're taking a short cut back to the Pridelands. We'll explain the details when we get there. Are you all ready?" The herd let them know they've been ready, with a Nidoran female chirping in a plea. "Get us out of here, it's been too scary." Leon gave a clap in a sync and a ripple of light surrounded the herd, in a blink they were back to a watering hole in richer pastures.

Finding the Exeggutor that was trying to calm down while a skittish Dugtrio was sensing something somewhere east. "What are you sensing!" "It's got to feel big!" "Something bad's coming!"

Timon, Pumbaa and Heatmor jumped in surprise at the arrivals. Leon looked around to find Pō had finished delivering a message to the King. The lion rushed over with worry. "You're back, Pō came by to tell me what was happening." Leon had the Nidos get ready for watch and reported. "Our plan had a few hiccups, but it went without much of a hitch. Terra's busy trying to handle our Obstagoon problem while we address an issue that's been discovered. Eating it's way out of somewhere." He thought about how to say it while Kingambit checked the local royalty. "It's a pokemon that doesn't look like any animal that you've ever seen."

The Mandrill looked at the bladed one with caution and guessed. "It's the big mawed beast that's disappeared from the face of the earth?" Leon's surprised at that estimate. "Yes, by going into the earth. I have someone keeping track of him, but if he ends up in the Pridelands unchecked, he'll just keep eating until there isn't anything left." He and the Mandrill spoke at once. "That's going be some big trouble!" The two looked to each other as Simba heeded the shamans words. "We'll have this sorted, Rafiki."

Luna Kaua asked inquisitively. "So, should we tell them more about the friend we have on the way, or should we start guessing for where he's coming?"

Leon whistled. "Just that he can even things up. We just need to hold Guzzlord in place until Terra gets here." At a sudden, Xatu is gone. Simba knew what that meant and took command. "Alright everyone, we need to find where this thing's coming out of and get the animals as far away as possible!"

He pointed to Quagsire and the unevolved pokemon. "The rest of you need to go with them and stay safe! This is gonna get ugly!" Quagsire laid around lazily and felt a small tremor in the water, urging him to get up. Exeggutor started given directions as Leon request. "Exeggutor, you and Heatmor will help with the evacuation. Dugtrio will come with us to make an arena trap and help pick up the tremor sources."

The three headed mole gave a grunt as the youngster asked his Moltres. "Pō, us and our best fighters are going to be the ones to help Guzzlord escape from this place." He shined his Z Power Ring as Simba guessed. "And you're going to that for the trick?"

Leon nodded. "Combine with with Terra's Keyblade... just expect to be amazed." He gave a glow with the psychium z. "If one of those stars brought him into this world, than a star will send him out." That was a clever plan that Rafiki raised a finger to. "Ah, but is the beast going to go on over by his volition?" K'ui shook his head. "No! We gotta knock him in." Leon second that. "He might be too busy mistaking me for that way home... in the most literal sense." Pō ahemed to a boast. "Some of us are capable of forcing him towards the other way." The Swampert grunted. "If Terra can flip a Tauros, he can shove a Guzzlord!" Rumble!

Dugtrio felt a strong tremor and burrowed, with Nidoking taking his charge and following. Simba had the shaman stay behind and followed Leon and his band to a gulch with a particular tree. Slithering from it, was the white colored Zygarde that had his snout to a crack on a wall. Leon called to him. "Alola Zygarde, you kept track on that Guzzlord?" The embodiment of Order nodded. "He's kept eating his way deeper and deeper into the cave, hoping no one would be able to find him."

Crack!

The crack was getting worse. "He's instead, making a tunnel."

Crunch!

Something bit into the wall from the inside out and caused a wide area to crumble, with the noise of something munching. Two snapper like, black maws of tentacles slithered from each side of the entry, followed by a giant maw of yellow sharp teeth that reveled something that left Simba speechless. The tentacles were actually tongues, attached to the wide mouth that had a glowing blue funnel of spiked teeth and a vertical row of jaws in the end. Smaller, black reptilian claws, pushed the body through the ceiling of the tunnel, revealing a large set of eyes above the mouth and a tiny set of eyes above that. The rocks crumbled away for a giant, round, dragon, with small yellow tipped wings, a mace like tail, giant stubby legs with a m shaped yellow marking on each. Marked by severe looking scabs of lava burns. All of it adorn by a crown like tiny head with those small blue eyes, having a long set of horns on it's side. It was blinking rapidly at the sight of light and the bigger eyes squinted, showing scale eyebrows that looked like wings.

The Guzzlord adjusted to the light as Leon felt his heart racing, aware just what kind of danger he's in as the Ultra Beast opened his eyes and saw a swirl of colors. Seeing a terrified Simba, Pueo and Nidoking, a bold looking trio of Swampert, Crabominable and Kingambit. One in particular, standing right by a band of pokemon, was a light guiding a way home. The one light that remained consistent. Zygarde took a step and pleaded. "Wait, this isn't what you think it-" The Guzzlord heard a familiar noise, sparked in light and let loose a high pitch.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Over at the Termite Mound.

Terra and his band of Teddiursa, Cadet, Scyther, Mankey, Donphan, Farigiraf and Tauros kept hidden by a rock. The long neck used the technique of laying down to keep herself out of sight as the Keybearer watched the Great Tusk ignore the termites and even rest under the ever heating sun. Cadet had a peak and found nothing in particular before crouching back down. "No sign of Obstagoon or his friends, captain."

Scyther spaced out at the strange. "He really is making sure those cats the hint to get out. Is anyone here thinking something isn't right about this?" Donphan whispered. "What do you mean? I spotted another marowak before and he was brown." Terra was more for that theory. "Or he might have evolved. You see those tusks? That tail? He's like... twice as big."

Scyther kind of bought it. "Not a lot has changed, nowhere near enough. But I've seen that happen before." Teddiursa had her turn to peak and saw the Hyena pack gathering for a show, with Mightyena and Vigoroth sitting by them and looking forward to a match. In comparison though, Obstagoon was approaching with an irking feeling. He let it go and called. "Oi! We're finally here!"

Great Tusk stood up, shook off the annoying insects and grunted a question. Obstagoon figured what the question is. "Most of them got mucked up so badly that they kept running to the Den. Those Pride Guards or what ever ought to be migrating our kin over by now." He crossed his arms and giggled. "So how about you take it out of here too? There isn't a bloody scrap of grass to fit a wurmple, least of all a chunky guy like you!"

Great Tusk used his front right leg to kick the dirt and growled that question back. Obstagoon laughed, regretting some choices. "And ditch these guys? Not after how I made this Outland mine!" Ed ohed and laughed as the obstructor had a few goals in mind. "It's everyone for themselves out here, the bull heads will just end up being pickings one day and the weaklings will get a go to show who really holds the muscle! Once I see this King, everyone will see who's really the strongest! So bring it!"

For that reason, the Great Tusk was even more determined to teach the Obstagoon a lesson in humility. The ancient beast bulked up in muscle and caused Obstagoon to cringe as his orb made a burn. He rushed for a facade punch at the side of the face, jumped away and side stepped for another blow, the Great Tusk spun after the foe in a rapid spin, gaining speed as Obstagoon back flipped for that blow. The Great Tusk uncurled and rushed in a mighty "RWOOOOOOR!", before using his trunk to smack the Obstagoon in the back of the head and put him into the ground.

The rowdy obstruction was laid twitching into the ground, his brain went into a complete blank as he passed out. The hyenas were a bit astonished and Benzei complained. "That was it?" Senzei growled at him. "Can't say I didn't see this happening, come on let's get him up." As the pack were doing so, Vigoroth noticed someone hiding and clapped. "Hey, more are coming to join the gang!"

Mightyena and the Hyenas gave one look and gave a combined smack to their faces as Terra went out of hiding with his companions, having a delusion to shatter. "Nah, we were just knew a fight was going on. It was about time this happened." He cast a healing spell to get Obstagoon awake, as Donphan guessed. "So... that makes Great Tusk the toughest in the Outlands?"

The obstructor shook himself awake and over heard that. "Yeah for now, just wait until I figure that trick out!" He laughed more jolly. "But man, that was a smack I tell you what!" Donphan blinked and asked innocently. "So... does this mean you'll listen to what we're trying to say?"

The Obstagoon shook his head. "I told him and I'll tell you, again. I'm only going to those Pridelands to fight a King that ought to put up fight like this one." The hyenas let him go and Shenzei was getting amused at the insanity. "You'd thinking a cat that became King months ago is gonna kick your butt?"

The Obstagoon pressed his teeth together. "He'd kicked the git that made the Pridelands a dung hole, if you were right about that! You also said that he and a cub with a key kicked down a giant!" He flexed eagerly. "I punched a bigger key cat in seconds, didn't I?" Vigoroth burst in gleeful energy. "You punched him flat in the ground after he rushed ya!" Benzei nudged to his buddies. "I'd pay tonight's dinner to see that!"

Teddiursa groaned and raised her paws up. "Enough already! This is just stupid!" She pointed at Obstagoon. "Every pokemon is leaving because of all that fighting that would happen. Nothing else can fight us, they'd just go after anyone who looks weaker!"

Ed remembered how Obstagoon became a problem and nodded to that as the alpha Hyena asked. "Oh so you're not going to grow bigger in a day and kick somebodies butt?" The bear pointed at her. "That's the point, most of us do, you don't!"

Obstagoon could guess by the attitude. "And yours could happen any minute now. So what's stopping us from hitting that Pridelands and getting a word with that King?" The Hyena trio cringed as Terra guessed. "The fact that these three helped that Tyrant take over? When Simba came around, you guys were the first to get kicked out?"

The Obstagoon figured from the shared stories. "That Scar guy offered up some grub that came short! Since they ditched him." He felt an idea in mind. "And those lions were dumb to not figure out they're backing a loser that can't do anything for them!" He asked them. "So, you think after I get my go, we can ditch the Pridelands and go after the next best thing?"

As the band were thinking about it, Xatu spirited himself in and channeled mass teleportation, spiriting the lot to the watering hole in the Pridelands and bringing Shenzei into a panic. "Woah! Woah! Woah! We didn't say we were coming back here!"

Scyther stood in between the parties and hissed. "Hold it, Xatu didn't teleport us here without a reason!"

"AAAAAAAAAAH!" "RWRRRRRRRR!"

A high pitch scream and an otherworldly wail echoed through out the Pridelands, Obstagoon found that chance for that challenge and more. He gestured to the crowd. "Just keep yourselves hidden and watch!" He laughed and sprinted to the noise, Terra cringed, had Tauros stay behind and issued a pursuit, with the hyenas taking it as their chance to see a climax for all this chaos. Xatu watched on in hope. "It must come to pass!"

In the Gorge.

Leon and his companions had a brief stair down with the burnt Guzzlord that wasted little time making a rush for the youngster, shoving nearly everyone in his way to make a rush for home. The Espeon leaped out of the way and fired a dazzling gleam. "No! I'm not a wormhole!"

Pew! Pew!

The fairy move made Guzzlord wail out. Nidoking and Mahi Mahi rushed to the legs and tried to keep him in one spot as Pueo let loose a dazzling confuse ray, giving K'ui time to give a fast ice punch that drew the Ultra Beast towards him. Guzzlord turned to an interception of the crab and a Zygarde readying something before closing his maw and screaming out a heat wave. K'ui stretched a wide guard as the canine fired a green beam to the sky and had it rain down. Simba had sight of the Guzzlord's back and at the tiny head. "I think we have a way to keep him distracted."

Leon kept by him and guessed. "That back of his?" He gasped. "Right at a complete blind spot! It's brilliant, but that won't mean Guzzlord won't try to shake you off! Kingambit, do what you can to distract those eyes!" The big blade grunted, slide at the Guzzlord's legs and delivered a low kick, causing the Ultra Beast to howl and give a whimper at where he was kicked.

The Kingambit scooted back and realized where he kicked. "Erk! Come on, you're making this worse than it needs to be!" Marowak followed with a shadow bone smack at the side of the head. Guzzlord leaped into a stomping tantrum to shake off the foes at his legs and let loose a brutal swing to knock them away. He made a sprint after Leon and felt into an arena trap dug up by the Dugtrio. Pueo sprang a spirit shackle at the Ultra Beasts shadow as Zygarde made a dash around the Guzzlord and leaped to the tail, Simba wasn't too far behind and kept by a rock before making a leap to the tail and climb on, the two gave a firm bite and hold on the tiny head and caused Guzzlord to thrash in his rampage. Right as Leon felt a shadow jumping over him, the Espeon felt a relief that was short lived, for an Obstagoon arrived to use a burn powered facade.

The dark type leaped at the larger forehead and delivered a punch that sent the beast into a skid. Guzzlord leaped in an outrage and flung the three off before firing a heat wave, K'ui rushed in the way for a wide guard split as a duo of Donphans, the smaller one and the Great Tusk, rolled into a rapid spin and collided with the beasts sides. They circled around the Ultra Beast as as Scyther rushed in for a fury slash, carrying a Teddiursa that delivered close combat to the tiny head. The next to arrive was Cadet and Farigiraf, floating into battle while Mankey kept on the giraffe, the trooper watched Guzzlord with his strange power and formed a clump of clear smog to smother it away. Farigiraf fired a dazzling gleam as Terra landed into the gorge and asked. "Hope we didn't miss out!"

He charged after the Guzzlord and was smacked aside, while Mankey hurried to the Guzzlord's left leg and gave a low kick. Making the junkivore trip and give off a cry, Leon frowned and pleaded. "Terra, hold on! I got a plan for Guzzlord, but we need to stop kicking him like that. That's where he got burned." The lion turned fast. "Yeah, we need to figure out how we're going to get rid of him. So I'm all ears."

Leon sighed and showed his Z Power Ring. "I've been thinking, if someone lent some Z Power, into something that conducts light to open things. We can open a wormhole and push Guzzlord in there?" He crossed his wrists to make the crystal shine and Terra felt that is brilliant. "Power it up and let's send this guy home!"

Leon put his fingers to his head, stood firm and aimed his left paw forward, unleashing a light upon the Blade and giving it a distinct shine. "Now, make the Ultra Gate way and shine it though!"

Terra was amused, flipped his blade to his tail and had it aim at the back end of the gorge, causing an explosion of light that shifted into a Keyhole with the rippling powers of Ultra Space. Guzzlord felt the power to be sudden and made a sprint to get away from it, going for Leon in desperation. Mahi Mahi flipped to his partner and gave a water fall tackle to shove him a few inches as Tera asked. "Mankey, Scyther, hit the forehead and send him tumbling! With ice punch this time, so we don't hit those legs anymore."

Scyther gave another fury cutter slash that knocked Guzzlord back as Mankey gave a punch that sent him on his rear. Nidoking followed that with a stomp of earth power that forced the Ultra Beast to take a step back and expose himself to a blast of a hurricane, flipping the Ultra Beast closer and closer to a rift.

Teddiursa and Obstagoon leaped as one and gave a facade punch on the forehead, while the Great Tusk tackled bellow the beasts chin and sent it tumbling right to the base of the keyhole. Guzzlord went loose in an outrage once more and Mankey went into a temper. "Come on, just go in already!" He charged with his arms crossed and gave a critical chop at the forehead, bringing Guzzlord right at the keyhole that wasted little time sucking him in. Guzzlord cried out in terror as he went through to the other side, the scream became little more than an echo as the keyhole flickered and closed back up.

Teddiursa phewed as Mankey leaped and clapped. "Hahaha! That got him out of here!" He and the bear gave each other a high five as the joy reached a peak, causing a glow of evolution. The band approached as the form as Mankey grew bigger; his arms turned more muscular and his tail disappeared to make way for bracers at the wrist and ankles.

Pew!

The evolution came to pass and in Mankey's place was a bigger pig monkey with brown limbs. His hands looked to resemble boxing gloves and his bracers were black. He had a visible pulsing vein on the left side of his head and stomped fiercely to make himself angry. "Alright, alright already!" Terra woahed. "So that's what you're talking about?" Leon nodded. "At a certain point, Mankey will evolve into the more furious Primeape. I guess he got mad that his blood has to heat up and get use to the body." Primape huffed and crossed his arms. "Wished I knew of that before I evolved." He turned to Teddiursa. "But this means you're evolving soon, right?" Teddiursa pouted while Terra nudged her in affection. "People are saying that will be soon, don't worry about it."

At the other end of the gorge.

Zygarde sighed in pity of the Ultra Beast and looked over to the one anomaly to the world's ecosystem, an Obstagoon that was having an adrenaline craze from a heated battle and more so the Mankey's evolution. "Oh yeah, that's what we're talking about. Now." He turned to Simba, who was trying to make sense out of what he saw. Obstagoon pointed at the king. "I saw ya's getting on tubbys back and getting him where it hurts. Ya got the nerve to back up ya title, King."

Simba took the taunt and gave the obstruct a stare down in the eyes. "I have to do what I need to for these lands. I've heard what you were doing out there." Obstagoon circled around him without shame. "Yeah, ya got to be strong in the head to make it to the top. Having some strong arms and teeth ain't enough though. I'm not leaving here, until I see what a King's got."

Simba sighed at the reckless wish. "Being strong in the head, doesn't mean you go looking for trouble. Stand down." Obstagoon shook his head as Kingambit turned to watch. "Ya use that head to beat that trouble in their own game. That's how ya grow stronger, that's how ya earn some respect." He crossed his arms and issued a challenge of battle. "So are ya's going to keep talking or are ya going come at this trouble?"

The King was annoyed, took a step back and gave a fierce roar that intimidated the Obstagoon's vigor. Obstagoon laughed, howled back and went to the kings side, readying his claw for a night slash, Simba jumped over and clawed the dark type in the back. Obstagoon nearly bit his tongue, turned around and gave a facade punch right at the kings face, sending him into a slide before following in a leap. Simba side stepped to keep a distance and waited for Obstagoon to go for another punch. The King used that to pounce on the obstructor and nearly send him down. Obstagoon stomped in a tantrum to knock Simba back and blitz, unaware that the king allowed himself to fall on his back and throw the punch off balance.

The lion rolled to his side and pounced on the badger once more, pinning him to the ground and keeping his weight over him. Obstagoon tried to kick Simba off and felt his legs pressed down, the dark type struggled for a good minute before he felt his adrenaline dropping down in a crash. He panted as he begun to realize, he lost. He looked upon the King's rather serious face and snickered.

"Fwahahahahaha!"

The laughter was something of joy and gave the lion a reason to get off, listening to something childish as the badger got himself. "Ha, ha, ha! Finally, it was about time." He sighed in bliss, as one who found a worthy player in a game he's made up. "Fighting, am I right? I still got a lot to learn." Simba felt a rush wear off and gave a chuckle at the worthwhile challenge. "You can say that again. Where did this behavior come from?"

Luna Kaua pressed his hands together and raised his right one up. "I can explain that." He scooted over as Obstagoon looked over to a mentor and pressed his hands together. "Did I do good, Boss Gambit?"

The Kingambit put a knuckle to the badgers forehead and had him stand firm. "You didn't change, what so ever, since you ran off from us. Like how you didn't change since you were a Zigzagoon in those wilds. Trying to pick a fight with my Pawniards, knowing those odds were against you." He pushed his hand back. "You got a good spirit that kept growing, I like that around the turf."

Obstagoon clapped as the blade man turned to the king of the land and had a fierce smile. "He's always been like this ever since me and my clan found him in a place that is crazier than the Outlands. Getting into fights with others bigger than him and rushing head long." He put a hand under his chin. "I'm getting it now, some of this was his excuse to make a difference and find new playmates, so he could stop bugging us."

Obstagoon blushed and scratched the side of his head as the others approached, Simba cleared his throat in an apology. "It doesn't work like that here. Most fights don't end as well as you think they do. That's why, I'm going to have to ask you to go with Terra and Leon. It's for the best." Obstagoon whined. "Come on, we won't be able to do this again." Primeape over heard and stomped in anger. "You think he'll keep playing that forever? He's the only one that beaten your sorry butt!"

Obstagoon growled and he turned to leave, thinking about it. "...I'll need some time to think about it, I got stuff I need to get done." Terra found that as a chance to invite the dark type. "We'll be at the Rock when you make that choice." Obstagoon grunted and left the gorge as Leon waved. "Don't take too long!" The youngster looked to the lot that fought tooth and nail, all the while, Kingambit scooted over to him.

Up the cliff and out of sight.

Obstagoon returned with some of his closer confidants, Vigoroth clapped in glee. "Ha, biggest fight today!" Mightyena grunted. "You showed that King how to sweat it!"

Obstagoon laughed to that and listened to the hyenas laughing hysterically, the alpha female asked. "Did you see yourself punch his highness like that? Oh that's got to have cost a tooth!" Her subordinate second that. "Worth every fuzz!" Ed burst into pure laughter as Obstagoon laughed to that. "Well, that's gonna be a one time thing. Now let's get outta here. I got something to say." His goons were all for that and hurried a route out of the Pridelands, while a collection of green cells and a shadow cast by Pō.

Over at Pride Rock.

Simba and the court finished a brief recap of what has occurred and Timon jumped in astonishment. "You're letting him do what?" The king repeated himself. "He's spending some time to decide and tie up the loose ends. He'll be here soon." Leon hoped so. "There isn't going to be anything else left for him to fight, he might be akin to a rowdy teenager, but he isn't being too ridiculous. I'm having Pō keep tabs on him, just in case he needs a stern talking to."

With that bound to resolve itself, Terra asked in the matter of discretion. "This is a big number to care for. How are we going to leave like this?" Leon knew what that meant. "I don't want to go back to the Outlands again, so perhaps if we find somewhere no one pays mind to. We'll be gone from here before anyone notices a thing."

Rafiki had an idea what the boy was talking about and laughed with him. "Say no more, the winds know the way to go." A brief gust of wind, complimented by flowers, blew across and headed over to the great tree. Some place far away and discrete enough that no one would notice any off world shenanigans.

At the height of celebration, Rafiki felt a strange smell in the air, something like smoke. Xatu turned to a particular direction as Terra and felt something off, he looked over to the pokemon, Farigiraf, Marowak and oddly the Great Tusk were wide eyed about that off smell. The three gathered to the psychic bird as Rafiki caught a distant sight of fire and dreaded. "That's big trouble."

He hurried to the bird as Simba asked. "What's happening this time?" The elder turned, poked Simba on the nose and insist. "It be nothing but from the past. You stay! Terra, Leon, come and bring your strongest!" Terra had his band of pokemon line up with him as Leon had his menagerie and a concerned Kingambit come with him.

Over at a Boneyard.

Shenzei and most of the hyenas needed a repeat on what Obstagoon had to say. "Wait, wait, you're thinking about going with them?" Obstagoons own cohorts looked at him strangely, the dark type asked bored. "What else is for us here? Going at Simba again when we got better things to do? That's gonna get old."

Benzei groaned. "Yeah, that ain't gonna work, trust us on that one." Mightyena whimpered to his pack leader. "Do we got to leave this sudden?" Ed whimpered in regret as Obstagoon growled. "Until I can come up with something new to change up that fight, it's gonna have to be. But in the mean time, as long as someone humbles the big cats around here, me and my boys won't be needed." Regardless, that does mean that there's a pack of something for the hyenas to bull over and no one would mind in the slightest. Shenzei imagined a point made and asked. "What was that thing the Pridelanders talked about again?"

Vigoroth scratched the side of his head. "I think some of the guys talk about some Circle of Life or something?! Sounds more like nature finding a way to sort things out." Obstagoon shrugged. "I don't get it either, but it's a free for all out here and once you find a way to get by, you'll be set for the next best thing." He imagined more chaos and giggled akin to a child as Mightyena smelled something off. He looked to a gate marked by a rib cage and was seeing something of fire and smoke. The pack had that in their senses as Obstagoon whispered. "Isn't everyone suppose to be over here?"

Ed made a fast count as Mightyena picked up sulfur. "This came on it's own." He sprinted ahead and Obstagoon cringed and followed, with the rest of his entourage keeping behind. Across the gate was a blazing inferno, heralded by a totem of volcanic rock. It had the image of a horned cobra that spewed dark fumes while the land itself cracked. Out of the smoke, came fiery, horned lions, the Hyenas began snarling at the fire demons as Obstagoon realized something and whispered to Mightyena. "Oi, give me a boost of that howl! I got a way to get that to stop spewing those things."

The Migthyena gave a imposing howl as Vigoroth gave a clap in a helping hand, the badger sprinted on all fours, leaped over a lunging fire cobra. He felt a burn from his orb and tackled the totem head first.

It cracked an instant from the sheer power as the Hyena pack used the howl as the chance to go after the fire demons, biting and thrashing as viciously as expected. Obstagoon stepped back from the totem unleashing a close range eruption and leaped at it for a facade kick, breaking it into splinters and leaving the totem in a smolder. The demons themselves collapsed into simple embers and the darkness began to recede.

Obstagoon turned around to a confused pack that were thinking that was all too it and raised his hands to a boast. "Ya see that?! Two hits and it's" He gave a shriek. "gone!"

Vigoroth clapped eagerly as Mightyena and the Hyenas knew something didn't feel right, Ed tilt his head to find the smoldering totem was taking shape, rising up as a beast of shadows. Having burning yellow eyes and a scar on his left eye. He made panicked noise and pointed, bringing concern that Obstagoon turned around to address. At that moment, the figure gave a burst of dark power and pounced on him, sending Obstagoon knocking to the ground and reduced to a smaller form, of a black and white Zigzagoon. He found himself in the inside of a cave with roots above, everything was catching on fire and sent him into a sprint, he turned to face that shadowy figure, who's eyes gleamed in green and in the form of a lion that had a growing snarl. "You'd think to chase away my means of revenge and walk away?" He zipped after the critter and pinned him to the ground, giving a condescending tsk. "You are still but a child, rodent."

The Zigzagoon felt his heart race at the confusion, felt a spark of defiant anger ignite into his soul and let loose a pulse of a shriek, knocking the demon off of him and turning for a stand. "So what, you'd think to knock me in here and cook the lands when I got a legend going? Ya nothing but a lazy loser who can't do squat by himself!"

The lion growled at the stubborn soul. and locked the surroundings in burning, snake like chains. "Even as a child you still don't get what I can do? These lands will all-" He sprinted. "burn!"

Zigzagoon leaped out of the way in a zig zag pattern and gave the demon a head butt before turning and kicking blinding sand into his face. "Ya think I'm a quitter just cause I'm small again?! I'll knock ya teeth out and use them to make another scar on ya!" The lion brushed the sand out of his eyes and burst into fiery snakes to poise a strike.

At the outskirts of the boneyard.

Zygarde put himself together after a moment of horror at the inferno, Pō was high above to get a visual and cawed over to him. "Shattering that totem did next to nothing!"

PEW!

Xatu appeared with a small force and waved his wings. "We're here!" Leon recognized the bone yard and gasped at the fire. "What is happening here?" At the question, dark forces sprinted out of the fire and after the band, eight fiery lions of pure malice. K'ui set up a wide guard as Mahi Mahi went for an earthquake punch that sent the foes rolling back into fire balls. They sprinted for a second wind and headed right for the Espeon in particular. Great Tusk took advantage of the wide guard and let loose a bull doze to bury the demons out and charge into battle without a thought. Donphan eeked and followed him in as a flock of fire vultures flew down from the sky. Zygarde took a step back and unleashed his thousand arrows that sent them crashing to the ground and gave the ground dwellers something to attack. Farigiraf fired his twin beams as Marowak gave a bonemerang toss, while Kingambit took advantage and gave a kowtow cleave. Scyther gave a quick attack rush to finish off the Blazzards as Terra, Teddiursa, Primape and the Cadet made a charge into the inferno. They were blocked off by an arrival of bramble vine scorpions that made a rush for Terra.

Cadet took a step back and scorched them away in mystical fire as Teddiursa and Primeape rushed in for a punch. Xatu ascended behind them and let loose an air cutter, giving Terra time to cleave the forces back into the darkness.

Pueo served as an escort for a hollering Rafiki that was surprisingly skilled with his staff and aided with long reaching leaf blades as Leon had his band hurry further ahead. Only to find a giant fiery cobra slither out of the fire and spit after the Espeon once more. Pueo shot at the snakes shadow to pin it in place as Rafiki gave the snake a blow to the head and caused it to burst in light. Pō lost his patience and blew a storm of fiery wrath at the darkness, pushing it into the gate while hurrying to the source. The band were ready to go in after him as the Mandril raised a hand. "Stop!"

The band halted as Leon was more worried. "There are people over there and what ever is going on is nothing but pure chaos!" The monkey agreed with that. "Nothing but Chaos and fire, there's a source of if. If you don't focus that out, it won't ever stop!"

Luna Kaua growled at the obvious problem. "So we rip it a new one and get those idiots out of there? It's going to be a lot harder than it sounds, right?"

Rafiki nodded as Scyther had a look at the flames, cringed and thought of something, he asked the Keybearer. "Hey, you mind if I borrow that bag, I want to try something out." Terra didn't think too much of it and opened his bag, showing the recently added augurite. Primeape stomped impatiently. "Is a Kleavor going to make any of this go away?"

The band gasped at what Scyther was planning to do, he complained. "The things I do, go on ahead, I'll try to sort this out!" He picked up the stone and caused it to glow with him, the band hurried ahead into the inferno.

An absolute battle field of hyenas fighting for their lives against the various demons. Vigoroth, Great Tusk and Donphan were clashing into the epicenter of the chaos. With Pō unleashing his fiery wrath and doing what he can to clear the power away. Leon channeled a dazzling gleam upon the darkness and called. Pō, what is going on over here?"

The Moltres turned his head to his partner and looked ahead at the epicenter, a crazed, fiery Obstagoon was thrashing after that trio of Hyenas and a Mightyena that were trying to work together to keep him pinned with bites and weight. The most that is being done, is the fact they are keeping the Obstagoon distracted, Leon felt his eyes in a blink and saw the flames had a black aura, bringing horror to those who know. "No, no, no, no! Something turned Obstagoon into a Shadow Pokemon?!" Mahi Mahi grunted and rushed after a demon. "And a really mad one!"

Pow!

Obstagoon tossed the pack away, jerked his head to the bow and let loose a howl that condensed into a fiery wildebeest. The band rolled out of the way as Luna Kaua gave a slow scoot around the chaos, slashing through each demon that tries to jump him as he gave the order. "Farigiraf, Marowak, let's try and get Obstagoon pinned 'ere!" The two hurried around the havoc, the long neck gave an uproar to distract the Obstagoon as Marowak rushed head first in a rock headed flare blitz. Shoving the Obstagoon back and inch, Marowak jumped back to avoid a dark swipe combo as Luna Kaua sneaked to the badgers side and delivered a low kick that knocked him to his knees. He stepped back and commanded. "Knock it off already!"

Obstagoon caught his fall, was in a moment of clarity and began snarling something, he began punching the ground in a tantrum and let loose quakes. The Cadet unleashed a Twilight Impact with Pō and chanted to Terra and the melee duo. "Go, go, go!"

The three charged after the Obstagoon that stood up in a zombie like pose and had a cautious approach. The shadow pokemon had his sights on the three as Terra signaled. "We have this, just keep those things from getting at our backs."

Marowak and Farigiraf turned as Kingambit scooted at the chance. "I'll watch out for anything fishy, something got him to listen for a second." The Obstagoon burst into dark fire and lunged after the Teddiursa as a way to start a combo, Primeape got in the way and braced for a blow as Terra gave a parry, letting the monkey get around and saw Obstagoon's eyes twitching rapidly, he was focused on something and it wasn't on them.

Primeape barked. "Hey, hey! Focus on us! What are you doing?" Teddiursa had a look and gasped in horror as Terra saw that desperate twitch and realized. "Something else is in there!"

He gave the Obstagoon a shove, exposing him to a sudden outrage from Zygarde. Terra gave a fast order. "Teddiursa, give him the eyes while Primeape gets that cross chop ready, Cadet get over here and blast him!"

Teddiursa gave baby doll eyes and powered down the Obstagoons damage as the Cadet shot out mystical fire, Primeape gave a cross chop and missed by a back step.

Obstagoon channeled a twister and let loose a fiery roar that sent the band back and left a burn on the Teddiursa. Terra was knocked over and the shadow pokemon rushed to go for the throat. Parry! The claw was stopped by an interception of Luna Kaua, who looked into the Obstagoons eyes and gave a deep voice. "Am I hearing things right? I might not know who's in there, but the moment we rip you out, I will cleave you so swiftly that you'll splatter right on a plate."

That threat at Obstagoon pause and step back in a moment of will power, Pueo flew over head and use a quill to keep him in place. Obstagoon put a paw over his face to try and keep something under control and begun to laugh maniacally and go after the Kingambit in a black red aura. The bladed one crossed his hands to wit stand the blunt blow and take a blast of heat as Leon had Mahi Mahi bull rush across the demons and K'ui smack the closer ones aside in a crab hammer.

The Espeon fired a power gem blast to get Obstagoon off and felt wind rushing from his back. Leaping ahead of him, was a giant stone mantis. Showing an exoskeleton of light brown, cragged round shoulder pieces of a black. His face looking to be a stone helmet with a single pointed black stone, his brows and beard melded melted together in sharp black stone. His back no longer had wings, instead having white stone spikes. His neck, belly and legs where of white and his feet had sharper black toe claws. He intercepted the Obstagoon and gave a double fury cutter slash while slashing his axe blades down in sheer force. Terra recognized the speed and asked the bug. "Scyther?!"

The bug turned an eye to him and hissed in sarcasm. "Sorry that took long, didn't know becoming a Kleavor will cost me everything! The Sage helped me pick up some pieces." Leon sighed. "Take it easy, it's not that dramatic. I think that move was stone ax, can you display that again?"

Kleavor grunted and looked at the dazed Obstagoon, "Gladly!" He rushed after Obstagoon and gave another ax swing and followed with fury cutter. Rafiki jumped over a Great Tusk in a brawl, spun his staff and smacked Obstagoon over the head, bringing more clarity as the pokemon begun laughing regularly. "Hahahaha! Smack that cat again!"

Rafiki stepped back and pointed at him in a lecture. "Oh no, we need someone to get in that heart of yours and toss that cat out!" Kleavor was on the offense. "This ought to show that cat what we're going to do to him!" He used his axes to toss Obstagoon over to some bones, the badger was consumed in fire and roared the flames of malice into existence. Leon and Farigiraf glared and conjured a dazzling gleam combo to pelt them away, giving Cadet an idea to raise his hands and help the duo conjure a barrage that extinguished the demons before they could make so much of a sprint. Primeape followed that attack with a low kick sprint, only to get clawed across the face and be sent into a spin, Teddiursa followed on that with a beating of close combat, kicking and punching the Obstagoon into the sharp embrace of Kingambit. Vigoroth pounced on Obstagoon's legs for good measure as Mightyena and Ed went to bite the arms, the obstructer couldn't move anymore. Luna Kaua called. "We have him in place, now get that spirit out of him!"

Terra and Teddiursa got close and Leon followed behind to ask. "Terra, do you know how that's going to be done?" The veteran admitted to having little experience in exorcising. "I know how it's done." He tapped a blade to Obstagoon's chest. "We just got to focus on-" Leon wasn't going to wait around for a redundant explanation, put his paw on the blade and closed his eyes, causing Terra and Teddiursa to felt their vision shine in light.

Before they knew it, they were in a void of fire. Terra and Leon found themselves standing up, human once more while Teddiursa was looking around, finding a lock resembling a fiery snake. Terra focused his blade and with a mighty cleave, shattered it in two and making an opening into a mountain with a great tree. The bear caught a scent and rushed into the flames. "We're coming Obstagoon!"

Terra and Leon jumped and followed behind, entering a home scape that is on fire. The three looked around and found the source of the Obstagoon's madness; a fiery, demonic lion with green eyes and a scar on his right eye. Trying to pin down a black and white Zigzagoon that was baring his fangs and was refusing to back down from a battle in the heart. Terra and Teddiursa were ready to attack the lion as Leon breathed through his nostrils, aimed his hand at the lion and channeled a dazzling light, giving a command befitting a prince. "You get your paws off him!"

BLAST!

Terra and Teddiursa were surprised by the attack that sent the Scar Lion off Zigzagoon. The raccoon turned in shock at the arrivals and laughed. "Ha! You couldn't get out of the boneyard with my body, while these bad bones just got into my head! Now we're going to mess you up!" Teddiursa raised her fists in agreement. "Yeah!" She readied to confront Scar. "By Almighty Sinnoh, you're going back into the fire where you belong!"

Scar flickered into a swarm of chain like snakes and got on his feet. "I'm not going anywhere, little bear!" He warped close in his lion form and raised a paw, exposing his face to a facade punch that knocked him back. The chains shot forward in a counter attack, Leon realized something and focused his hands to his cranium, channeling out a thunder wave that shocked the snakes in place and gave Terra an opening to rush at the lion and cleave him in two. The lion turned into twin fire balls and scattered to the side of the chamber, turning into green glaring eyes and let loose streams of flames. Zigzagoon sniffed around and looked to the eye behind the band, one having a scar marking.

The raccoon howled and charged with no regard to his safety, Teddiursa jumped and followed him in a blitz. Leon kept to his plan and turned with a zen, channeling light into his eyes and firing a psybeam at the Scar eye. Blasting it into a distraction as the normal types charged with a head butt and a thunder punch. The eye scattered in flames while the other turned orange, Terra was trying to make sense at what Leon was doing and focused on the orange flame that was readying something. It shot out the lion that went after the nuisance of a boy. Terra smashed the ground and let loose a pillar of stone that punched the lion all the way to the ceiling.

The Veteran nearly warped to the lion and locked him into a fast combo as Leon hurried around and conjured gems of power. "I got your back Terra," He focused his hands to the gems. "I don't know how this is still working either!"

PEW! PEW! PEW!

The power gems fired a barrage at the juggled Scar as Terra gave a blow that smacked the lion into the ground. Then the orange glowing cave gave a radiance of green, the spirits of a Great Tusk Elephant, a Spectral Skull lizard, a Bladed Beetle man and a two headed Giraffe flew into a melody that gave Zigzagoon a perk, causing him to glimmer into the form of a Linoone. He smiled maliciously at Scar and approached slowly. "All ya lazy butt is good for is scaring us and making others do the dirty work! What a wimp!"

Scar warped to Linoone's personal and tried to claw him, the badger dodged, got to his back and gave a night slash clawing. Teddirusa got to Scars flank and slammed a fist of lightning as the four lights shined in harmony, Leon readied a blast of dazzling gleam as Terra landed by him.

The veteran was seeing what was happening and put a hand to the boy's shoulder. "Wait, this is their fight now!" Leon took a deep breath and cheered. "Come on Linoone, you can beat this coward!" Terra called to his partner. "As soon as that lion tries something, go in for close combat!"

The Lion growled and flickered to get behind the boy, Leon only felt a point was taken and rolled to avoid a claw, Linoone zipped right at the Lion and knocked him to the ground as Teddiursa waited for the badger to jump off from a retaliating roar and engaged in close combat. Linoone gave a burn of a spark and lunged in a facade, sending Scar rolling into a fiery rift repeating his eye attack. Having burning snake like chains slither to keep the path from being straight forward. Terra focused his blade and turned into into a double blade that cleaved through the snakes as Leon aimed his hand to the air and conjured an orb for a dazzling gleam. Linoone laughed and sprinted at the scar eye for a claw.

Teddiursa charged the other that was glowing orange and gave the sprinting lion a punch to knock him aside. Linoone smiled wickedly and followed with a head butt, sending Scar rolling. Linoone felt enough of a vigor and his form flickered into that of Obstagoon. Scar tried to get up and cowered. "No, no! This isn't suppose to be-" The Dark type half dropped his eye lids and showed more of his teeth, at the peak of justified rage. "We find a way to get stronger, we find a way to be the baddest bones across the land. We use what we got by our own and keep climbing!" He rushed at Scar and beat him down in close combat, along with Teddiursa who was itching for another go, they kicked Scar across and watched the lion try to crawl into flames.

Terra warped to where he was going and smacked him so hard with the blade that he was launched to the other side of the chamber. Scar was flickering bit by bit and Leon channeled a thunder wave to keep him in place. Obstagoon used the chance to give Scar a kick across and picked him up like he was a throw rug, the lion was nearly glassy eyed as he was looking upon a set of angry red eyes that were calming down.

POW!

With a simple punch, the Lion disappeared into embers. The chamber begun to envelope into green light that gave off a burst, returning the cave into something more simple. A den to make into a home, where a Zigzagoon was playing roughly with a Cubone that is toughening up, all the while a Girafarig was keeping watch in supervision. All the while, they were watched over by a blue humanoid resembling a helmeted blade man, he was trying not to smile by keeping focus to something his clan has been setting up.

It was more than enough for the dream hoppers to know, this is a fond, blissful memory. Teddiursa phewed and looked on to the dreaming Obstagoon. "You know what's got to be done. For all of us." A light was filling in as the rough neck smiled wide. "Yeah, it's time to get going."

The dream hoppers woke up into their animal forms, to a battle ground that was finally dying out. Obstagoon was glowing in green light as a gathering of Great Tusk, Marowak, Kingambit and Farigiraf stepped away. The grapples let go as the green light expelled a flicker of shadow flame, Kingambit wasted little time chasing after the flame that tried to retreat into the shadows, only to be intercepted by Zygarde, who clamped his jaws onto the flame. The dog tossed it to the Kingambit that wasted no time giving a mocking bow of a kowtow cleave, slicing the spirit in two and causing it to disappear. The Zygarde grunted. "Begone from these lands."

Rafiki walked over in a promise. "He won't be trying that trick again." Cadet picked up the injured Primeape and asked. "Was he with the demons that have been attacking the lands?" The Shaman stroked his beard. "I believe so. That wicked spirit wouldn't have been able to sneak back to these lands by himself. Try he might through his followers."

Ed saw the ordeal was over and scurried back to his pack as Pō blew out from his nostrils. "He's only going crawl back to the shadows and try again. Yet he'll only find the lands defenders waiting to toss him back." He turned to the Hyena clan that watched Mightyena and Vigoroth carry the tired out Obstagoon. "Did you lot say your goodbyes to Obstagoon already?"

Shenzei groaned in defeat. "Yeah, yeah, we got that over with. We're going already." She turned, wishing to leave already. "Come on, this dump's burnt up."

Benzai growled. "Just get out of here before we come back." Ed, in contrast, had a relieved smile and giggled, possibly to wish the herd the best of luck. Rafiki wasn't having any of that. "Shoo, go on, get!"

The pack were already leaving and Obstagoon had time to see them take off and see there wasn't a body laying. He shrugged. "Eh, least they'll be out of here now!" Mightyena and Vigoroth turned to embrace their boss, the monkey cheered as Teddiursa was sitting down with a strange burst. "Fire gone! Fire gone!" Marowak agreed with that. "And with it, the evil of this land has weakened."

The group saw Teddiursa acting strange and turned to watch her give a glow. She grew fast, roughly to a size bigger than Obstagoon. Her frame became broader, her claws bigger and her shoulders had longer fur. She was keeping her round tail and her bear ears while Terra was smiling. "It was about time." Pew!

The evolution reached completion and in place of the small bear was a much bigger bear, with distinct brown fur. The crescent moon on her forehead was gone, though a yellow ring was on her belly. Leon snickered in good will. "You were wanting to become an Ursaring eventually. Now you get to be with the big kids!"

Ursaring blushed, scratched the back of her head and growled. "Did I really get that big?" Obstagoon looked to her size with envy and compared his with Kleavor, who was even larger. "Not gonna lie, you two are making me look small." Kleavor groaned. "And heavier."

Terra admitted to the ax bug. "You weren't that slow." Donphan agreed with that. "You still came by in a zip and you smacked as heavy as the Great Tusk." Speaking of which, the band saw Great Tusk was missing in a moment and saw he and Zygarde were approaching something that glimmered out of nowhere. At the place where Leon found the stone, was a crystal cave. Terra gasped in a realization as the ground types were heading to the cave. "You were with that Koraidon this whole time?"

The Great Tusk recognized the name and turned half way, grunting at something he hasn't figured out fully, but knew in his instincts, was a calling. Donphan blinked in confusion as Marowak knew what the crystal meant. "So this means you two are being called to another part of land?" Leon imagined it. "We'll be heading there too, one of these days." Zygarde nodded in agreement. "This task is far from finished, but you'll have a friend over there. Ready to help set things right." The Espeon offered. "But, why not come with us? We can make a whole lot of good happen together."

The Great Tusk smiled and tapped his nose in a press before heading into the cave, Zygarde looked to his cohort with hesitation. "I don't doubt your strength as a trainer, but the other still has a ways to go." Primeape stomped. "Come on!" Terra turned to the ape and raised a paw. "If we're a little stronger, we might be able to change his mind." He remembered what happened with Obstagoon and shook his head while the dark type figured. "But we're not up to stuff yet, bummer!" Zygarde laughed to that. "But that doesn't mean you won't get another chance." That earned a hearty, sportsman laugh as the dog followed in. "We'll meet again, in better times."

Glimmer!

As the ground types entered, the cave flickered away. Leaving something behind, a dark brown plate. Ursaring huhed and picked it up, finding words on the back. "When the universe was created, its shards became this Plate." She question the appearance and smelled it to feel something earthy. She recognized the smell. "Do any of you smell this?"

Leon and the others haven't. "No, what kind of smell are you picking up?" Ursaring wondered. "It kind of smells like... peat." Terra raised a brow. "And that's important because-" Leon recalled. "like with the augurite, it's very important for an Ursaring's evolution. If the augurite showed up for Scyther when it did, then it means we have another legend that is close by."

Ursaring recalled. "Once the full moon is out in the sky, cover the face in peat and smell the way." Leon felt it was appropriate. "So that's how the mystery works. Considering you just evolved though, it would probably be a ways before we can achieve this."

Ursaring agreed and sniffed around. "Yeah, but if we don't have that peak by the full moon, nothing will happen." She walked over to the Mandril and had a smell of his paws, she gasped and pointed. "A ha! How far have you traveled?" Rafiki felt asking was a hint of brilliant. "Far away from the Pridelands! I might have some trinkets from the far away marshes."

The keybearer felt there's a catch. "But what do we got to do to get some?" The Shaman headed to Xatu and advised. "You gotta follow back to the King and tell him what is to be done. Come on now, the sun's gonna go down soon!"

Leon and the others looked up to the sky to find the sun setting, the Espeon gasped. "Oh my goodness, have we been out here for that long?" Terra nodded and roared to his group as Xatu was ready for some teleporting. "Come on, we're almost done!"
