Tail's here with chapter 4 of Fairy Tail's Devil of Light and Dark, I enjoyed typing this chapter, a lot of changes have been made. Nothing really changed other the end notes.

We see Ruby, Natsu, Gray and Happy walking through Hargeon. "Happy, when I told that blonde weakling she couldn't come along, that doesn't mean you could. You've barely even learned fire magic, you can barely help Natsu with it and your flight, you have no reason to be here, unlike Natsu or Gray, you're not even remotely ready for a job like this, go back to the guild." Ruby orders.
"Come on Ruby, you know Happy will stay out of trouble, as long as he stays out of any fights." Natsu says.
"You forget Natsu, as S-Class I'm in charge of this mission, Happy is not ready for this." Ruby says, strictly.
"Flame-Brain, I have to agree with Ruby, yeah, Happy can be useful on jobs, but he isn't ready to be on an S-Class, I know you don't like him being away from you, but..." Gray says.
"I understand where you're both coming from, but I only feel safe, involving him, when he's with me, he's all I have left… from her." Natsu says, and Ruby sighs after a minute.
"Fine, he can come, but he doesn't get involved at all, he stays in the village." She says.
"Village?" Natsu, Gray and Happy ask.
"Yes, by the way Gray, I want you to be on your best behavior." She says, and Gray freaks.
"Why are you pointing me out? You should be worried about Flame-Brain causing Collateral damage." Gray says, as they walk onto a dock, but one that is almost shady.
"No, considering where we're going, you're the one I'm worried about." She says, pulling out a black key, it has a skull with purple gems for eyes, and the water beside the dock glows purple, and a boat comes out, a boat mode of black wood, with intricate purple runes, and at the bow is a large purple gem. "Get on." She says, and the three nod, when all four of them are on the boat a spectral purple imp like creature appears.
"Where do you need to go, Lady Ruby?" The creature asks.
"Galuna Island." She says, the creature nods, and the boat starts moving. "Gray, the reason you're the one I'm worried about, is because Galuna island is an island inhabited by demons. These demons, come from a group of demons, who left Makai a very long time ago, who didn't want anything to do with it or my uncle, the ones alive now are on friendly terms with Makai, but want nothing to do with humans, the fact that they sent a request, shows something is very wrong." She says, and Gray is shocked. "Not to mention, my Aunt and Uncle asked me to check the island out." She says, and after about an hour, they're sitting there.
"Gray?" Happy asks.
"What Happy?" Gray asks.
"Uh, look at Natsu." Happy says, and Gray looks over at Natsu, who's practically sleeping.
"What, he's just resting." Gray says, and Happy sits there for a few minutes and Gray jolts.
"Hey Flame-Brain, why aren't you suffering from Motion Sickness, like you usually do?" Gray asks.
"No clue, but I'm not complaining, this is how it always is, when I do jobs with Ruby." Natsu says.
"So, how's your new Magic coming along, Natsu?" Ruby asks, sitting there meditating.
"New magic?" Gray asks, confused
"Slow but steady, I'm sure I've gotten a good grip on it, but I'm trying to be careful with it, I don't want to end up being like Gildarts, after all." Natsu says, both Happy and Gray freak out.
"Flame-Brain, you, you're not trying to learn Crash Magic, are you?" Gray asks, scared, and Natsu holds his hand up, instead of it bursting into flames, like it usually would, when he uses magic, his hand glows white. "Dear god, Master is going to have a heart attack." He mutters. (I keep falling further behind him, he was chosen for the S-Class trials last year, even Gramps sayy he's S-Class in all but Rank.) He thinks, angry.
"What are you doing, Ruby?" Happy asks.
"I'm meditating, well more like, I'm conversing with my Inner Demon, all Slayers have an inner self, that is closer to the being's that raised us, I have an inner Demon, and Natsu has an Inner Dragon, by conversing with what most would consider as our darker side, our Slayer Magic becomes stronger, because conversing with our inner selves, shows that we accept that darker part of ourselves. Natsu's doing the same, and bringing Natsu up, Natsu I want you to start using Crash Magic, during jobs, you aren't going to get better with it, if you're afraid of causing collateral damage." Ruby says, and Natsu nods, and after a few hours the boat stops on a beach. "We're here." She says, and they get off the boat, and after a few minutes the four of them are in front of a gate, she kicks the gate open, but since it was a lifting gate, a chunk of the walls ripped off as well, and walks in to see a small village.
"Hold it, what are you guys doing here!?" Some human looking guards yell, pointing spears at her, she pulls the job sheet up. "A kid, you're the one that took the job, guess the two of them are here to make sure you're not in over your head." One of the guards says, Natsu, Gray and Happy start to panic, and Ruby's Magic spikes and manifests, creating a red aura around her, causing the village to start shaking, scaring everyone.
"The two of them are here, because I asked them to be, they are only A-Class, I'm S-Class, in our Guild, only S-Class Mages are allowed to take S-Class jobs." Ruby grinds out.
"We, we'll get the village leader." The guards say, running away, and her magic starts to settle, after a few minutes a bunch of people wearing cloaks come forward, one guy is holding a staff or long cane.
"Welcome to Galuna Island, young mages, my name is Moka, before we start talking there is something you must see, the curse every creature on this island suffers from. Everyone cloaks off." The obvious leader says, and everyone takes the cloaks off, and they all look like humans, with demonic aspects, alerting Ruby that there is something very wrong going on, and her mind starts racing through possibilities.
(They think they're humans?!) She thinks.
"The moon is the cause of this curse. Our island has always been known for gathering in the light of the moonlight… and glowing as brilliantly as the moon itself! A few years back the moon turned a shade of purple." Moka says, and Ruby's eyes widen.
"That's it." Ruby says, and walks into the center of town, and is looking at the sky, they all see her Shadow Devil markings appear, and her left eye turns pink, while her hair spikes up, and she holds her left hand out. "Darkness of Destruction… Orb of Infinite Power… Midnight's Last Dance…" She chants, as all the shadows gather into an orb in front of her hand. "Dark Void!" She finishes, throwing the orb up, and it seems to hit a barrier, as the sky above the island turns purple and starts to crack, and the spell dissipates after a few seconds.
"Ruby, could you explain?" Gray asks.
"I already told you only demons live on this island, so the appearance of them is all wrong, I mean I know they have human forms, but they actually think they're humans. I know of quite a few spells that could do this, but he said the magic words, purple moon. Only one spell causes the moon to take on a purple glow, and that's only because it produces a magic fume that crystalizes into a barrier like layer in the sky, it has a peculiar effect on demons that grew up in the human world, that spell is called Moon Drip, it's a dispel type magic." She explains, and in a gold glow, a gold spear covered in Demon runes, appears in her hand, she spins it. "Dniwlb aeej dgnw, mjd glhpgj mjohrnjv mzzlshld fo nh he nhi egnvnjmb ihmhl." She says, slamming the spearhead into the ground and a wave of gold washes over the island, the villagers glow returning to their demon forms, and the purple layer in the sky shatters.
"Ruby, what is that, what'd you do?" Natsu asks, shocked.
"This is the Lance of Lucifer, a spear made by my Uncle, it has the ability to dispel any Magic in existence, and what'd I do, I gave it one command. ''Dispel Moon Drip, and return anything affected by it to its original state'." She explains, requipping the spear away. "Now we need to go find whoever was using Moon Drip!" She says, then there is a loud roar coming from an old temple, but shocking Ruby and Natsu, Gray falls to the ground staring, partly in fear and partly in rage, in the direction the roar came from.
"No, that's impossible, it can't be, that roar, what's it doing here, it's supposed to be sealed away forever in Isvan!" Gray yells, slightly panicking, when Ruby knocks him over the head.
"Gray, what the hells going on with you?" Ruby asks.
"That Roar, it belongs to Deliora." He says, surprising her.
"Deliora, the Demon of Destruction, and one of the Demons of Zeref …let's go, now!" She orders, and they nod, rushing towards the temple.
"Gray, what's going on, I've never seen you have a breakdown like that." Natsu says.
"Deliora, is the reason I'm here, in the guild. 10 years ago, Deliora was on a path of destruction, it destroyed my hometown, and killed both my parents. After that happened, I met my Master Ur, she taught me Ice-Make, but one day I found out the location of Deliora, and like a dumbass, I went after it. My Master had to sacrifice her life, to save mine, she used the Spell Iced Shell to seal Deliora away forever." Gray explains, and to their shock, Ruby trips, but then she looks up.
"Iced Shell?! That's why they were using Moon Drip, dumbasses were trying to release Deliora." Ruby says, but then her eyes widen. "But I just released Deliora for them, when I dispelled Moon Drip." She says, shocking them, and her body glows bright pink and she rushes towards the temple, and they run after her. When they get there, they see four people fighting a massive, blue, humanoid demon. Gray's eyes widen seeing a spiky, white haired man and unconscious, naked woman with dark purple, chin-length hair.
"Ur, but… how?" Gray says.
"My uncle's spear, remember I commanded it to dispel Moon Drip, and revert anything it affected to their original state, and since Iced Shell turns a person's body into the Ice that seals away what it's used on, the spear turned the ice back into your teacher. But it also released Deliora for them." She explains, then looks at Happy, very annoyed. "I thought I told you to stay in the village, it doesn't matter now, take Gray's teacher back to the village, you two handle the small fry trying to fight Deliora.
"No, that leaves you to fight Deliora!" He yells, but finds Ruby's fist in his gut, he looks up and sees her with both sets of marks, her eyes glowing pink and her hair spiked.
"Have you forgotten, I'm a DEVIL SLAYER, Gray, my Magic was created to kill Demons, and an Etherious fake demon like Deliora is no different." She growls. "Now do as I told you, or I'll never take you on another S-Class again, and I'll make sure you're not even considered for S-Class this year!" She growls, he nods rapidly and Ruby's requips the Lance of Lucifer. "Dniwlb hrl mfnbnho he pil amvns!" She yells, and throws the spear at Deliora, piercing it in the shoulder, then her body glows bright pink, and she rushes towards Deliora, Happy grows wings, flies and grabs Ur and takes her back to the village.
"Let's go, Gray." Natsu says, and Gray nods.
"Flame brain, leave that white haired guy to me." Gray says.
"Ah, but I wanted to fight him, he looks like the strongest of the four." Natsu whines.
"He probably is, but he's also a fellow pupil of Ur, Lyon Vastia." Gray says, and Natsu nods.
"Then you better beat some sense into him, it seems like he's the one behind all of this." Natsu says. Grabbing and throwing Gray in front of Lyon.
"Flame-Brain, you bastard!" Gray yells, in a dust cloud, when it disappears, he's face to face with Lyon. "Well, well, I didn't think I'd ever see you again Lyon." He says.
"Gray, you three deal with him." Lyon says, but in a blast of white, Natsu lands, slamming a fist into the ground, shattering the ground for quite distance, chunking the ground into hundreds of large cubes creating a barrier between Lyon and his three followers, and separating them all from Deliora.
"Sorry, but you three are fighting me." Natsu says.
"And, Lyon, you're fighting me, I'm not going to let you near that Monster." Gray says, then we see Ruby propelling downwards, as one of her legs is glowing dark and bright pink.
"Enlightened Shadow Devil's Hex Crush!" Ruby yell's slamming her foot down on Deliora's head, slamming it into the ground. "Hello ugly, let's get this over with, at first I actually thought that this was going to be a real fight, but I can see that woman sapped away most of your energy, while you were sealed." Ruby says, in a mix of Impressed, annoyed, bored and angry, as Deliora gets back up, glaring.
[Natsu Vs 3 Lackeys]
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu yells, rushing at a guy that almost looks like a dog who is also rushing at him, but they both hit a blue barrier and bounce off, well the other guy does, Natsu bounces off, while his flames seem to wash over it harmlessly.
"I don't know if you're arrogant or what, but you can't beat me, let alone all three of us." a guy says, he has spiky blue hair, large eyebrows, and dark green eyes.
"Oh hell, arrogant bastards like you really piss me off!" Natsu snarls, rushing at him, and his fist glows white, and he slams his fist into the barrier in front of the guy, and smirks. "Absolute Fist!" He yells, and the barrier shatters into tiny cubes, and Natsu continues on into the guy's gut, slamming him into the ground, which shatters, under him, but not like when Natsu slammed his fist into the ground directly.
"Yuka!" Screams the only girl of the group, she has hot pink hair, blue eyes, and is wearing a gothic dress. "Doll Attack : Rock Doll!" She yells, throwing her hands up, the ground floats up creating a large golem, but Natsu just holds his hand out, releasing a globe of white that captures the golem, the light disappears, and the golem falls apart as a bunch of little cubes. Natsu is also now in front of the woman, planting his fist in her stomach, knocking her unconscious, he then looks at the guy who resembles a dog.
"Yuka, Sherry, you'll pay for that!" He says, but Natsu tenses up, and rushes at him, catching on fire.
"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu yells, headbutting the man, knocking him through a few trees, and knocking him out. "Alright time to regroup." He says, then his vision turns pink.
[Gray Vs Lyon]
"You should know how this is going to go." Lyon says, holding a hand off to the side.
"I'm not that weak little brat I was back then, heck, I know 5 people who could beat you with ease nowadays, when I think about it, they could probably beat Master Ur, one of them for certain." Gray says, rushing at Lyon, faster than he was expecting, and jumps. "Ice-Make : Prison, Ice-Make : Hammer, Ice-Make : Knuckle!" He yells, creating a prison around Lyon, then creating a giant hammer, that he slams on the prison, crushing it and Lyon, he then jumps back while swiping his hand, launching a few glowing lights, that hit the ground under Lyon, erupting into a few giant ice fists pummeling him.
"What!?" Lyon yells in the air. "Ice-Make : Tiger Ambush!" He yells, creating 5 tigers made of Ice.
"Ice-Make : Sword!" Gray yells, creating a sword of Ice and cutting through the tigers, shattering them. "Ice-Make : Giant's Blow!" Gray yells, creating a giant fist of ice attached to his arm, that he slams into Lyon, and slamming him into one of the crashed up terrain cubes.
"Damn it, how?! Ice-Make : Snow Dragon!" Lyon yells, launching a serpent-like dragon at Gray, but he dodges, taking a his maker stance and creating ice blades on his elbow, and he launches towards Lyon.
"Ice-Blade : Seven Slice Dance!" Gray yells, and spinning and slicing him 5 times individually, then slices him with both blades at the same time, launching Lyon away after a few seconds he tries to get back up.
"How, how, are you so strong, Gray?!" Lyon yells, and Gray goes to say something, when both their visions turn pink, then they both notice the presence Deliora gives off is gone.
"You did it, Ruby, you destroyed Deliora." Gray says, happy.
[Ruby Vs Deliora]
"Enlightened Shadow Devil's Maledictive Crash!" Ruby yells, slamming a palm on its head, releasing a large blast of dark and bright pink energy, causing Deliora to stumble back, roaring in rage and pain.
"Argh, you pathetic human scum!" Deliora screams, in rage.
"Oh, you can actually talk, I thought the rest of your fake ilk, in Tartaros, were the only ones that could talk." She says, surprised.
"You'll regret fighting me alone, scum!" He yells, enraged, leaning back, and breathing in, but after a minute nothing happens. "What, where's my Magic?!" He roars.
"Hehe, that spear in your shoulder, it's the Lance of Lucifer, it dispels magic, and can do things, based on commands, for you, 'Dispel the ability to use Magic', is the command I gave it. Enlightened Shadow Devil's Ripping Whip!" She yells, slashing a whip of bright and dark pink energy, slashing into Deliora's chest, she then breathes in. "Enlightened Shadow Devil's Rage!" She yells, releasing the dual-toned beam, from her mouth, launching Deliora back, he stumbles up.
"You, YOU, YOU DISGUSTING SCUM!" Deliora yells, enraged.
"Tch, the only scum I see is you. Light of Creation… Rays of Hope… Morning's First Dance…" She chants, as a giant bright pink orb appears above Deliora. "Suns Wrath!" She finishes, as the orb launches a beam downwards, creating an explosion of bright pink.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Deliora rages, after the spell finishes, he's heavily hurt, and parts of his body are fading away, and Ruby is in a Maker stance, her palms glowing dark and bright pink.
"Demon Hunter : Excalibur!" Ruby yells, lifting both hands above her head, creating a pillar of dual-toned energy, with which she slams down on Deliora, and in an explosion the entire island is bathed in pink. After several minutes the light is gone, and Deliora is fading away completely. "Hmph, I can't believe I had to pull out my strongest Demon Hunter Spell, guess reverting that woman back, gave some of your power back." She says, and starts heading back, as she comes up on Gray and Lyon.
"You asked me how I've gotten so strong. It's because I'm part of a Guild, you should join one too, Lyon, you'll make friends and rivals, who will push you to get stronger." Gray says.
"Gray, you saw what I saw, didn't you, Master Ur she's back." Lyon says.
"I saw." Gray says.
"Let's go, we still need to talk to the villagers, bring the dumbass." Ruby says.
"What did you…" Lyon tries to say, but Gray pulls him back.
"Don't, I don't think she'd hesitate to kill you, even if our guild has a no kill policy. Plus I'm not even close to her level, even Natsu's stronger than me, right now." Gray says.
"Gray is the second weakest of our group, but in this case, you fought the weakest of us." Ruby says. "Now move, before I decide on reporting you to the Magic Council, permanently marking you as a Dark Mage. Or worse, I take you to my Aunt and Uncle." She says.
"What's so bad about the second option?" Lyon asks.
"This Island belongs to a group of demons, whose ancestors wanted nothing to do with Makai, but the ones now, are on good terms with Makai, but want nothing to do with Humans, and thus the island is technically considered an Embassy for Makai. What you've done here, could've started a war with Makai, and about my Aunt and Uncle, they're Lillith and Lucifer, the Devil Queen and King of Makai, and I'll tell you one thing, Deliora, even at full strength, isn't even a blip on the map, compared to either of them." Ruby explains, shocking Lyon. "Now go." She orders, letting her Magic spike, and he nods fearfully, they get Natsu and Lyon's followers, and head back to the Village.
"Ah, Lady Ruby, you're back, you're cat thing and the woman he was carrying, are in that house over there." Moka says.
"I take it, you've contacted my Uncle?" Ruby asks, and he nods.
"Now, as per the request 7 million Jewels and a gold key." He says, shocking Lyon and his group.
"7 Mil-Million!?" Lyon, Sherry, Yuka and the dog guy say, shocked
"Keep the Key, we've no use for it." Ruby says, grabbing the sack of money, but Gray grabs the key.
"The new girl, Lucy, she's a Celestial Spirit Mage." Gray says.
"Fine, not like I care, now let's go check on your teacher." She says, and they walk over to the house, they put Ur up in, for the moment, and they hear Happy's voice.
"Miss you can't go, you've just been turned back to normal." Happy says.
"I didn't even know that was possible, but if I'm back to normal then that means Deliora is released." Ur says.
"You don't have to worry about that, our Mission Leader is a Devil Slayer, the Magic she uses was specifically created to kill Demons. If I'm being honest, I kind of feel bad for Deliora, Ruby is one of the scariest and meanest people I know, Deliora doesn't stand a chance." Happy says, then Ruby opens the door and punts Happy into the wall.
"Stupid cat, so you're Gray's teacher." Ruby says.
"You know Gray?!" Ur asks, surprised.
"And now your other dumbass student, one of 'em, was bad enough." Ruby says, pointing behind her, and Ur sees both Gray and Lyon.
"Oh, well, I'd rather you not insult my students in front of me." Ur says.
"Well, then you better have a lecture ready for that one, he was using Moon Drip to release Deliora for some reason, and do take your time, we'll be here for a while. It'll take a few days for you to get better and able to walk again, and get used to your new power." Ruby says, shocking them.
"Lyon, what were you thinking!? And you, what do you mean, get used to my new power?" Ur yells at Lyon, then asks Ruby.
"While you were trapping Deliora, as the Ice, you had actually sapped away a lot of his power, that power is now a part of you, you're like a Pseudo Devil Slayer." Ruby explains, shocking them. "Now could you put some clothes on, you're as bad as Gray." She says, and everyone realizes Ur is completely naked, having dropped the blanket she was using to cover herself, after what Ruby said about her having Deliora's power, causing Yuka and the dog guy to pass out with a nose bleed, while Natsu rolls his eye, and leaves the house. After a few days, we find them on the beach of the island.
"Are you sure you don't want to join Fairy Tail, Lyon, even Master Ur decided to join." Gray says.
"I need to find my own way, especially after this debacle, plus I'd rather not be in your shadow." Lyon says, smirking.
"Well, let's get going, I have a bad feeling something's happened while we were gone." Ruby says, pulling out the black key, and a bigger boat comes out of the water portal, and they get on.
"Hey Ruby, where'd you get these clothes, they're not your size, and you don't seem the type to wear them?" Ur asks, now wearing a black kimono with purple trim, and sandals.
"You're the same size as my Aunt, so I asked her for a spare of one of her kimonos and a pair of sandals, when we get back to Magnolia Gray can take you shopping for clothes." Ruby says, and the boat starts moving.
"Hey, why do I have to take her shopping for clothes?!" Gray yells.
"She's your teacher." She says, pulling out the bag of Jewels. "Now 2,000,000 for Natsu, and 2,500,000 for Gray and I." She says, dividing the money between the 3. "Now for the rewards of doing the job with me." She says, and in a gold glow an odd looking book and a pink Lacrima appear. "Gray I understand your magic is something you treasure from Ur, but you really need to learn something else, as I pointed out to Natsu during the S-Class trials, no mage should be a one trick pony, it makes you easy to predict, and while it's not a big deviation, this is an Ice god's Tome, you read this, and the magic inside will bind to you, turning you into an Ice God Slayer. I'm giving it to you whether you want it or not. For Natsu, this is a little special, this Lacrima possesses the raw Magic of a Fire Devil who taught me when I lived in Makai, her name is Pyrus, I'm sure you can consume the Magic inside, but I'm not entirely sure what it would do, I'm sure it'd push you into Dragonforce, but no clue beyond that." She says, and they nod, if reluctantly in the case of Gray. By that afternoon, the 5 of them enter Magnolia, as they're walking, the people around them are chattering, and pointing at them.
"You think they heard what happened."
"I hope so, or the Demon Fairy and Natsu, are going to be Livid." Is a conversation, Ruby hears from people nearby, and after a while they make it to the guild, but the guild is destroyed with giant metal poles sticking out.
"What is this!?" Natsu growls.
"What the hell happened!?" Gray yells, but then the whole area starts shaking, and they look over at Ruby, to see her Magic Aura manifested.
"BLACK STEEL!" Ruby grinds out.
(This girl can manifest her Magic like this, I can't even do that!) Ur thinks, shocked, but then we see the Guilds basement, and many are freaking out, including Lucy.
"What's going on!" Lucy screams, scared.
"Looks like they're back, and Ruby isn't happy. I told you we should've contacted her this morning, and informed them about this." Mira says.
"Why do you say that like this is normal?!" Lucy screams.
"It's not the first time Ruby's let her Magic run wild like this, bring'em down Mira." Makarov says, and Mira nods, heading up some stairs, and opens a hatch.
"Welcome back, you four, oh who's this with you?" Mira asks, seeing Ur.
"She's my old Teacher, but that's not important right now, what happened to the guild, Mira?!" Gray yells.
"It was Phantom Lord, come on master's waiting." Mira says, and after an hour, Ruby is done explaining what happened on Galuna Island.
"So this has been quite the Job for the three of you, especially you Gray. But it's an honor to see that the Great Ur Milkovich wants to join our guild." Makarov says, and Ruby's eyes widen.
"Milkovich! As in related to Councilwoman Ultear?" Ruby asks, shocking Gray and Ur.
"Oh I never thought about that, I guess that is possible." Makarov says. "And from what Gray has told me, the Councilwoman is around the right age." He says.
"Wh-What, it's true I had a daughter named Ultear, but one day when she was a kid she got sick, and no doctors could cure her, But some members of the Bureau of Magical Development came to saying they could help, that she was suffering from her body having to much Magic, I agreed, I just wanted her saved, but when I went back they told me she died." Ur explains.
"But that time frame lines up with, oh dear." Makarov says.
"What gramps?" Gray says.
"It lines up with a time when a man named Brain was in charge of the Bureau." Makarov explains.
"Okay?" Gray says, confused.
"You really don't know what that means, do you, Gray. Brain is the name of the leader of the Dark Guild, Oracion Seis, and one of the three heads of the Balam Alliance, and it also means your teacher was lied to." Ruby says, shocking Ultear. "I'm going to head home and rest, Gray, don't forget to give the blonde the gift you insisted on taking." She says, leaving.
"What's that mean?" Lucy asks.
"Right, catch." Gray says, throwing the gold key to Lucy, who catches it, and looks at it, and is shocked.
"This is one of the 12 Golden Zodiac keys, 'The Archer' Sagittarius! Where'd you get this?" Lucy asks.
"Ask Flame-Brain, Gramps, where's the Guild Stamp?" He asks.
"Right!" Makarov says finding the Guild Stamp. "Now where do you want your Mark, and what color?" Makarov asks, and Ur holds her forearm out.
"Inner arm, and a gem-like red." Ur says, and he nods, placing the mark.
"Hey Gray, I just noticed, but what's with the book?" Levy asks.
"It was a personal reward Ruby gave me for helping with this Job, since it wasn't just an S-Class job, but a request Ruby was doing for her Aunt and Uncle. And it's no mere book, it's an Ice God's Tome, if I read this I'll become an Ice God Slayer." Gray explains, shocking them.
"That'll mean we'll have all 3 Slayer types, a God Slayer in you, a Dragon Slayer in Natsu, and a Devil Slayer in Ruby. You're going to read it, right?" Mira asks, and Gray shakes his head.
"I don't know yet, I mean I know it'd be useful, and Ruby's right no Mage should lock themself to one single Magic, even Flame-Brain, is learning another Magic to go with his Dragon Slayer Magic." Gray says.
"What, Natsu's learning another Magic!" Everyone yells, and that makes Gray laugh.
"Right you weren't there, Flame-Brain is learning Crash Magic." He says, shocking everyone.
"Dear god." Erza says, almost terrified of the prospect.
"Natsu, are you trying to bankrupt the Guild!" Makarov yells.
"Don't have a heart attack Gramps, I've been learning it for a while and have been very careful with it, since this is the first you've heard of it. Heck, doing this job was the first time I didn't restrain myself, while I was using it, since the ruins we were fighting nearby were already falling apart." Natsu says, shocking everyone.
(I didn't know Natsu even knew what restraint was.) They all think.
"Now, Ur and I…, oh god we have to go shopping." Gray says, sounding defeated.
"Yeah these aren't my clothes, they actually belong to Ruby's Aunt." Ur says, and the two leave.
"Now Gramps, what are we going to do about Phantom Lord?" Natsu asks, angry, and Makarov sighs.
"Natsu, it's fine, this happened in the dead of night, all they did was trash an empty guild, it's nothing to get worked up over." Makarov says.
"Wait, no one was here, and no one got hurt?" Natsu asks, and Makarov nods. "I, I guess that is nothing to get worked up over." Natsu says, shocking them, even Makarov, that Natsu accepted that so quickly.
"You're not going to argue?" Erza asks, surprised.
"No, Gramps is right. But that's not what has you all freaked out is it, I've been learning to master my emotions, as well as Crash Magic. As Ruby said, last year during the trials, my emotions aren't a weakness, but a powerful weapon as a Fire Dragon Slayer. If I can learn to wield them at the right moments, in Ruby's own words, few will be able to stand against me." He explains. "Now I'm going to go home and rest a bit, as well, let's go Happy." He says, Happy nods, and they both leave a bunch of dropped mouths.
"I wish you were here, Lisanna, you'd be so proud of Natsu." Mira mumbles, smiling sadly.
"That boy, he keeps surprising me." Makarov says, proudly, the next morning the entire city is woken up, because the city is shaking, and many of Fairy Tail see a red glow coming from the city's park, and gather there, finding Ruby there who's Magic is currently running rampant, glaring at the largest tree in the park.
"What happened, I've never seen her so angry." Gray says, pushing through the crowd.
"No clue, but whatever it is, it can't be good." Natsu says.
"So this isn't normal, Gray?" Ur asks, wearing an ice blue robe with dark blue lining on the collar and sleeves, a black turtle-neck undershirt, shin-length dark blue pants, black leggings and black boots.
"Ruby, you need to cal…"Erza says, getting to Ruby, only for them to stop, and her, Natsu and Gray's own Magic to manifest a bit, in rage, as well.
"Oh my god, what is wrong with this Phantom Lord Guild?!" Ur screams, shocked and angry, as dark blue scales appear on her arms and her fingers turn into claws, then Lucy walks up and gasps.
"Levy, Jet, Droy!" Lucy screams, in horror, seeing that the three are pinned to the tree, with the guild Mark of Phantom Lord, painted on Levy's belly. It's at this moment that Makarov walks up, and his Magic is similar to Ruby's.
"I could live with them destroying the Guild hall, but when you attack a man's children, PHANTOM LORD HAS CROSSED THE LINE, THIS MEANS WAR!" Makarov rages.
[Oak Town, Phantom Lord Guildhall]
"Did you hear, not only did Gajeel destroy their guildhall, he even took three of them down." A Phantom Lord member, says laughing.
"There was one the Master said couldn't be touched, who was that?" Another asks.
"No clue." One shrugs, as one is about to leave the guild, the ENTIRE front of the building is smashed in, causing wood shrapnel to pierce into many Phantom Lord Members, when the smoke disappears, they all see, the members of Fairy Tail, prominently, Makarov, flanked by Natsu Ruby, Erza and Gray.
"Fairy Tail has come knocking!" Makarov yells.
"You worthless excuse for humans, are going to pay for what you did to Levy, WHERE ARE YOU BLACK STEEL!" Ruby rages, her Devil Slayer Magic at full showing, as well as the crackles of blue electricity, and her Magic is practically pulsating, terrifying the Phantom Lord members.
"Yeah, you wannabe Dragon, show your worthless hide!" Natsu yells.
"You fairy trash!" some phantom lord members yell, starting to rush ahead.
"Ice-Make : Lance!" Gray yells, launching 8 spears into the crowd, stabbing a few in their arms and legs.
"Ice-Make : Demon Slam!" Ur yells, creating a giant, dark blue ice arm and hand, reminiscent of Deliora, and slams it down on a whole crowd, while Erza, flashes through a crowd of her own, slicing them up painfully. Makarov is walking through the guild, and a crowd attacks him, but his body grows and he turns into a giant, slamming his hand down on the crowd.
"He, he's a monster!" One cries.
"And you laid your hands on three of this monster's children, did you really believe human law will save you!" Makarov yells.
"Thunder-Flow, Demon Hunter : Floor, Demon Hunter : Spikes!" Ruby yells, holding her hand out and blue electricity flows through the hall, paralyzing a bunch of Phantom Lord members, then she places a hand on the floor, and the entire floor glows pink, then throws that hand up, creating hundreds of spikes, impaling a bunch of Phantom Lord Members in non-vital area's that'll clot easily, but not fast.
"So that's the Demon Fairy, Ruby Rose, she's younger than I expected, but that feeling she gives off, it scares even me a bit, plus Salamander and Titania Erza are here. But Gildarts Laxus and Mystogan aren't here. They underestimate us, but still, I didn't think that Master Jose's plan would work so quickly. They sure are some violent trash." A man says, he has long black hair, red eyes, and a lot of piercings in his face, he's standing in the rafters, watching the fight..
"Jose, show yourself!" Makarov rages. "Ruby, Erza, you handle things down here, I'm going up." He says, and they both nod.
"Make that son of a bitch pay, Makarov!" Ruby seethes.
"I plan to, if he's breathing on the top floor, I'll make sure it stops." He says, going up the stairs and she nods.
"Demon Hunter : Rose Scythe!" She yells, creating a dual-toned energy scythe, and her body glows bright pink, she flies through the room, cutting many Phantom Lord Down, and she appears in the center of the room, the scythe disappears, but now there's an imprint of a rose in the floor, she plants her hands on the ground, and the rose imprint, glows pink, which erupts upwards taking out a bunch of Phantom Lord. "Rose Hunting!" She snarls.
(It's almost like she's actually trying to kill us.) The black haired guy says, a little shocked.
"Found you Black Steel Gajeel, Fire Dragon's Crash Hammer!" Natsu yells, hitting Gajeel with a double hammerfist, one side engulfed in flames and the other glowing white, surprising and slamming Gajeel through the rafters and into the floor, cracking it. "Absolute Fist!" He yells, falling, going to slam a glowing white fist, down on Gajeel, who senses the danger, and flips out of the way, when Natsu'S fist impacts the ground, the entire room crushes up in giant cubes.
"That, that's Crash Magic!" Gajeel says, actually shocked.
"BLACK STEEL! Enlightened Shadow Devil's Hex Crush!" Ruby roars, planting a glowing heel on Gajeel's head, throwing him into the ground. "You're going to pay for what you did to Levy!" Ruby rages, which honestly shocks most of the Fairy Tail members, they're not used to seeing Ruby actually be caring.
"Ruby's right, you're going to pay, what you did to the guild, I can live with, it's just a building, but when you attack my Family, you die, Black Steel!" Natsu seethes, and no-one notices the tips of Natsu's fingers sharpen and turn crimson, up to the knuckles, then the building starts shaking,
"What is that, what's happening!?" A Phantom Lord asks.
"That is our Masters' rage, the Wrath of the Giant, it can't be stopped now!" Erza says, smirking, but then the shaking stops, confusing everyone, then Makarov falls through the ceiling.
"Impossible, some wannabe like Jose couldn't beat Makarov!" Ruby seethes.
"We can beat them now, that's half their power down!" Some Phantoms yell.
"Armor-Freak, get the guild members to retreat, I'll cover." Ruby orders, as they can feel her Magic building and spiking.
"What are you talking about!" Erza argue's, but is slugged in the gut.
"Don't argue, I'm wiping this building off the map."Ruby says, and Natsu grabs Erza.
"Erza, do it, you know she can handle herself." Natsu says, and Erza nods reluctantly, but Natsu overhear's Gajeel.
"You were always creepy, Aria, but good job taking out the old man, so did the other's capture that Lucy girl." Natsu hears, and his eyes widen.
"You better make it back." Erza says, grabbing Makarov. "Everyone retreat, Ruby is going to cover us!" She yells, and they all nod.
"How long has it been raining?" Ur asks, nobody notices, Natsu knocking out a Phantom Member.
"They expect this girl to stop us." A member laughs, but is elbowed by another.
"You idiot, this is the Demon Fairy." He scolds, when they all feel her Magic spike.
"Thunder Leviathan : Kirin!" Ruby roars, outside the city, all of the Fairy Tail Members see the Lightning in the sky, forming a Dragon head that roars, launching a giant Lightning bolt down on the Phantom Lord Base, causing a giant pillar of light to blast upwards, from the explosion.
"No way, she's capable of such a powerful spell!" Many in the Guild yell, terrified.
"Powerful indeed, but something's not right, a spell of that magnitude, it'd destroy the entire town." Erza says, then they see the ground glow Dark Pink, and Ruby phases out looking very exhausted, then she holds her hand out, and after a few minutes, the Lance of Lucifer pierces the ground beside her, and she passes out.
"She, she mitigated the damage with her Uncles Spear." Natsu says, amazed.
"Natsu, why did you knock that Phantom out?" Macao asks.
"I heard Black Steel say that they captured Lucy." Natsu says, shocking everyone.
"I'll deal with this, Natsu, you get everyone back to the Guild." Erza orders, and everyone nods.
So yeah, a lot of changes, the Ice God's Tome has been decided on. I'm still not sure about Ruby and the Edolas Arc, but I do have some major ideas for the Arc, and Ruby doesn't need to be present for them to happen. Also I didn't realize I didn't give Ur a new outfit previously, it has been rectified. think Tsubaki Kurogane from Boruto, I might like the show, but the outfits are really good.
