Hello Everyone.
It's been awhile.
Family Ties was quite literally the first thing I ever tried writing. It's been a decade now, but I still get reviews and follow requests on it. I'm so grateful and honored.
It's finally inspired me to try my hand at a reboot. So I've started over with a new fic following that same general plot, applying some of the writing skills I've learned since then and making an actual effort to turn it into a story instead of a 'bland feelings dump'.
But I warn you now: proceed with caution if you dare to go further…
Transformers hasn't been my fandom of choice for a decade now. And I've forgotten more about the franchise than I remember ever knowing. So I might get a lot of the details wrong and I will not be held responsible for that.
Furthermore, the bits and pieces of the franchise don't go very deep into culture and/or religion. And since that's what I live for, I'm expanding into that a lot. Meaning I'm making almost all of it up as I go.
And finally, I can make no promises about finishing the story this time around. My ADHD is terminal, and to this day I've yet to ever complete a whole project. But I've gotten about to the point where I left off last time, so I decided it's okay to post it without giving undue false hope.
The new story is unoriginally names Family Ties 2.0
Family Tie 20, because I can't figure out how to format it. Also the chapters don't have scene breaks where I want because I can't figure out that format either. But I did my best.
