The sun was going down over the city of Los Angeles, but due to the unknown murders the people of the city were not in a good mood. The people were frightened and there was a large crowd of news reporters gathered around city hall demanding answers on the murders. Governor Diane Foxington was meeting with City Councilman Jackson Lee, a strict and tough human with black hair, dashing blue eyes, and a gray business suit sat in a grand office.
"These killings are a real mystery that can't be solved, Governor!" complained Lee looking out his office window at the massive city of Los Angeles. "I have learned one thing from the police reports that most of the victims had no enemies, clean records, and killed in some strange ways, but sometimes in the worst ways too!" he added lighting a cigar.
Diane was still thinking about Muerte she met at the camp crime scene, but then returned her attention to Councilman Lee. "I know that also, but I hope to see the killer behind bars soon!" she stated with a confident smile. "It's just a matter of time." she added with a laugh.
Councilman Lee sprung from his chair. "That's not good enough, Foxington!" he snapped slamming his fits on his desk. "This psychopath needs to be stopped now because I need the people's trust and votes to become mayor of Los Angeles!" he explained getting up in Foxington's face.
Diane glared at Lee. "Remember that you're talking to the governor of California!" barked Diane as she sprang from her chair. "You wouldn't have this job if it wasn't for me, Lee!" she snapped pointing a threatening finger at him. Governor Foxington didn't like people who didn't trust her or disrespected her. She then headed for the exit because her meeting was over.
"Where the hell do you think you're going, Foxington!" roared Councilman Lee as Diane reached his office door. "We're not done!" he added crossing his arms with a frown.
"I have to get things ready for the gala tomorrow night!"
With that Diane left leaving Councilman Lee in a fury, but he too had some plans for the day of the gala. He picked up his phone and made a few calls to some businessmen that he was involved with. The truth was that Councilman Jackson Lee had bought his way into office through the criminal underworld. If he could become mayor of Los Angeles he could then run for governor, help his partners in crime rule more then just California, but the whole United States of America.
It was the night of the gala and Councilman Lee would attend the party at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, but first he had business meeting with the criminal underworld at The Happy Lady Casino. The penthouse suite of the casino was full sexually attractive dancers in bikinis and waitresses in leotards. Councilman Lee sat a table with ten other men who were looking at some counterfeit money that Lee was dealing.
"I think you'll like the goods gentlemen!" he chuckled taking a drink as a black panther gangster in a white tuxedo took a fifty dollar bill. "Go ahead," Lee said with a joyous smile. "Take a good look my friend."
An elderly human gangster in a brown business suit took the bill from the panther and looked it over. He passed to the other gangsters who all examined the phony money.
"Jezz, Councilman Lee." laughed the hoodlum closest to Lee squinting at the counterfeit money. "I can't tell the difference between this and a real one."
Councilman Lee beamed in satisfaction. "You'd need one of those nuclear microscopes to tell the difference." he boasted closing his briefcase. "I want the dough laundered through the casino at a half million a week. Three-quarters of a mil by October. Anyone got a problem with that?" The other gangster had no problem with the plan.
"I have got one problem with this plan!" a voice called from the bar at the far end of the room.
Councilman Lee and the gangster turned their attention to the stranger at the bar. The stranger was Mr. Wolf in a black business suit enjoying a cold glass of beer at the bar. Wolf smiled at the corrupt city councilman and the gangsters, but they didn't smile back. They all gave him an angry glare and pulled out their weapons.
Mr. Wolf still continued smiling. "The problem with your plan is that you didn't count on me being here," he chuckled putting aside his drink. He turned his attention to the woman in the room. "Ladies this may get ugly!" he shouted.
With that the dancers and waitresses stopped what they were doing and left the room in a hurry. Councilman Lee smiled evilly at Mr. Wolf and pointed his pistol, a M1911 at him. "Your mistake, Mr. Wolf, was giving up crime. We could have been a team!" snapped Lee keeping Wolf in his sight.
"I already have a team!"
Just then Mr. Snake dropped in from an air vent and landed right on top of one of the gangster and wrapped around his neck. "I squeeze tighter than your true love!" laughed Snake. Before any of the other gangsters could try and pull Mr. Snake off their friend, Mr. Shark and Piranha slammed three of the gangsters with the table. The panther gangster tried to attack Wolf, but the former outlaw avoided the feline's attacks. Wolf then slammed his fist into the panther's gut and then into his face.
"Goodnight!" laughed Wolf as the panther gangster fell to the floor.
The fight was over in a matter of minuets and the gangsters were all taken down except Councilman Lee who had fled during the fight. Wolf pulled out a small radio from his coat. "Webs, can you locate Jackson Lee?" he asked with a smile.
Mrs. Tarantula known as Webs by her friends was in the casino security room looking at the TV monitors and spotted Councilman Lee heading for the parking garage. "Wolf, he's heading for parking level 9-B!" she said hitting the police alarm. "The cops will be here soon, Wolf, so you better stop Lee before he can escape!" she explained with a smile.
Lee's car sat in the parking garage facing the ramp that would lead to the exit. Councilman Lee was about fifty feet from his car when a shadowy figure in a black cloak blocked his path. Swirls of smoky mist surrounded the figure as it moved slowly toward him. The corrupt councilman stood frozen in fear.
"Councilman Jackson Lee!" hissed the figure raising it's head to reveal red glowing eyes under the cloak's hood. "Your angel of death has come!" cackled the figure pointing a threatening finger at the frightened councilman.
"Guess again CREEP!" shouted Lee, whipping out his M1911.
The councilman fired his pistol in rapid succession at the approaching figure, but the bullets seemed to have no effect, disappearing harmlessly one by one into the swirls of mist that obscured the figure. The apparition continued to move toward him, gliding smoothly as if floating on the mist that surrounded it. The gun finally fired it's last bullet, and Lee stood in complete fear and amazement.
"That was sad and sloppy!" laughed the figure coming even closer to Lee. "What's the matter, Lee? Lives flashing before your eyes?" asked the figure removing his hood revealing a red eyed white wolf.
Councilman Lee swung his pistol at the wolf, but with a sudden rush of speed, the wolf moved in, raised its right arm from beneath the cloak, and knocked the gun out of his hand. Lee gaped as he watched the shiny metal spin across the concrete floor. The wolf held a sickle in his right hand and then sniffed the air.
"I just love the smell of fear!" said the wolf flashing an evil fang filled smile.
Councilman Lee never felt fear like never before, but he had wiggled his way out of trouble before. "Tell me what you want and I'll give it to you!" he said shuddering in fear. The wolf said nothing, but only moved closer. "What do you want!" cried Lee in total terror. Steeping back he tripped over a guard rail and fell to the floor.
The wolf raised his right arm and pointed his sickle at Lee who was struggling to get up. "I want you, Lee!" he cackled pulling out a second sickle from his cloak. "El Diablo is waiting for you!" said the wolf raising both sickles in the air.
Councilman Lee only could scream in horror as the blades came down on him. Mr. Wolf had just entered the parking garage in time to hear the blood curling screams of Lee. He ran around a corner and found Lee lying dead in a puddle of blood with a look of horror on his face. Wolf looked around and spotted the same dark cloaked wolf that killed Councilman Lee disappear down a stairwell that lead to the ground floor of the garage.
"HAY! Hold it right there!" he shouted rushing toward the stairwell.
"You hold it right there yourself!" shouted an all to familiar angry voice.
Wolf turned around and saw police chief Misty Luggins with eight angry policemen standing next to the body Councilman Lee. This didn't look good for Mr. Wolf because he could tell that they thought that he killed Lee. He didn't try to resist arrest, but went quietly because he knew he was innocent and that the truth would set him free.
"You got any police on the ground floor?" Wolf asked with a smile. Chief Luggins nodded yes. "The real killer just took the stairs a few moments ago." he explained pointing to the stairwell. "If you hurry you'll catch him!" he stated as he was shoved into a police car.
However the police on the ground floor never saw anyone exit the stairwell and this didn't help Mr. Wolf, or his friends. As far as Chief Luggins was concerned she had caught the killer of Los Angeles. Wolf and his friends entered police headquarters with a mob of news reporters on their heels, but the police forced the reporters outside of headquarter. Chief Luggins slammed Wolf against main receptionist desk.
"You just can't stay out of trouble!" snapped Chief Luggins taking a report paper from the desk.
Wolf glared at the chief. "Just give me my fucking phone call!" he growled. He knew that there was only one person who could help him and his friends now.
