Sorry but I skipped the episode where Elena tries to find information about her birth mother, Isobel.

Chapter 15 - There Goes the Neighborhood

~ Harmony's P.O.V. ~

I was with my Aunt Jenna to show a mother and daughter, my dad's clinic. I was listening to music on my iPod, as Aunt Jenna was reading.

"Miss Sommers?" A woman's voice caught my attention and I turned off my music and shoved my iPod in my bag.

I was shocked to see Anna, and with the woman I knew was Anna's mother, Pearl. Oh boy. I gave Anna a nervous smile, which she returned.

"Hi, Pearl, right?" Aunt Jenna said.

"This is my daughter, Annabelle," Ms. Pearl said.

"Of course. Jeremy and Harmony's friend," Aunt Jenna said.

I stretched out my hand to the woman.

"Hello, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Harmony Gilbert, a friend of Anna," I said politely.

Ms. Pearl's eyes went sharp for a brief moment before she smiled and shook my hand.

"This property was in my Brother-in-law's family for generations," Aunt Jenna said as she opened the door, "It used to be one of those old-fashioned drug store thingies."

"An apothecary, Aunt Jenna," I said rolling my eyes.

"Right," Aunt Jenna said.

"You don't say," Ms. Pearl said looking at the building.

"Sorry if it's musty," Aunt Jenna said, "No one's been in here for months."

"I'll use my imagination," Ms. Pearl said, "Annabelle?"

"Coming mother," Anna said.

We showed the two ladies around my dad's clinic. While Aunt Jenna was talking to Pearl, I asked Anna if she wanted to come over later. She and agreed and told me she would meet me at the daycare when my volunteer hours finish for the day.

~ AFTER VOLUNTEER HOURS ~

t was done Anna followed me to my house. I was debating on whether or not I should tell her that I remember her. So, I just said it out loud.

"I remember," I said making her raise an eyebrow at me, "I remember the past. I remember you, your mom. Katherine. I was Harmony Salvator. Now, I'm Harmony Gilbert."

"How did you remember? How did you survive?" Anna said.

"Katherine left me to die a slow, painful death alone. However, Emily Bennet saved me. Or at least she saved my soul and allowed me to be reborn in a new life," I said before hugging her. "I missed you, Anna."

Anna hugged me back.

"I missed you too," Anna said.

We made it to my door and I opened it. We were entering the house when Jeremy walked by and saw us.

"Anna?!" Jeremy said.

"Surprised?" Anna said.

"I uh, thought you were leaving town with your mom?" Jeremy said.

"Oh, change of plans," Anna said smiling.

Jeremy's face made me narrow my eyes before they widened. Does he finally believe me?

"I thought you'd be psyched?" Anna asked, "Harmony is."

"No no no, of course, I am," Jeremy said.

"Alright then," Anna said.

Anna and Jeremy went to play videogames, while I went to make dinner. After a couple of rounds, they came and helped me cook. It was then, Jeremy purposely cut his hand.

"What are you doing?" Anna asked.

"Can you pass me that towel?" Jeremy said.

Anna looked at me and I nodded. She looked at Jeremy as her eyes changed.

"I knew it," Jeremy said before looking at me, "I'm sorry I didn't believe you."

I nodded.

Jeremy then offered Anna blood. She looked at me, Jeremy, and his hand until she couldn't hold it and drank his blood. I was keeping a close eye to make sure she didn't go overboard when Aunt Jenna's voice was heard.

"Jeremy, Harmony! I'm home," Aunt Jenna said.

Jeremy went to talk to Aunt Jenna and I helped Anna escape. I finished making dinner and we ate. I got dressed in my pajamas before sitting on my bed with my music book finishing up a song I have been writing. Once it was done, I grabbed my laptop and went to see if there was anywhere that I can buy a guitar. Once I found the place, I wrote down the address and placed it in my backpack. The song needed music to go with the lyrics.

I laid down on my bed falling asleep quickly. Tomorrow was going to be a busy day.

~ WITH ANNA ~

~ Anna's P.O.V. ~

I snuck in the house, hoping that I wouldn't get caught. However, I should have known my mother would still be awake. She turned the lights on.

"Where have you been?" She asked me.

"I needed some air," I said.

"For three hours?" My mother said in disbelief, "Tell me where have you been."

"Out. I was out," I said.

"Annabelle, don't do this," my mother said, "I can't fight you too."

That broke me and the tears went down my face as I apologized. My mother hugged me and I held her close. It was quiet before a thought came to me. I moved away a bit to look up at my mother.

"Mother. Harmony remembers us," I said to her.

"What do you mean?" She asked me.

"She remembers her past. Yes, she's human but that's because she was reborn as a Gilbert. She told me how she died, and how Emily Bennet saved her soul and saved it until it was time for her to come back. I want to be her friend again. You know as well as I do, how much she hated Kathrine and stayed away from her. It was Katherine that left her for dead. If it wasn't for Emily, she would have died alone in the woods," I told my mother.

My mother was silent before she sighed.

"Alright, but we can't make the same mistakes we did before. You can be with her, but keep your guard up," My mother said.

"Of course, mother," I said smiling a bit.

~ WITH MATT ~

~ Matt's P.O.V. ~

I had just come home with my mother after catching her with Damon Salvator. God, why does she do this to me?

"Matt," my mother began to speak.

"I don't want to hear it, mom," I said.

"Matty, please," my mother said.

"Do you want I was doing tonight, mom?" I asked her facing her, "I was having fun. A night with my friends to forget all the crap that's happening every day of my life. Then, there you were wasted with a guy half your age at the bar that I work at, by the way, to pay the bills you don't. Acting like a freaking kid. I'm the kid, mom. You need to look after me."

"I know that, Matt," my mother said and shook my head.

"Obviously, you don't. Harmony actually helps me when she can. I feel bad about that, but I know I need the money. She doesn't need to take care of me. You do," I said to my mom before heading to bed.

~ WITH ELENA AND JEREMY ~

~ Jeremy's P.O.V. ~

I walked into the bathroom, my three siblings share to see Elena brushing her teeth. I knew Harmony was already in her room.

"How was your night?" Elena asked me.

"Same old, same old. You?" I asked.

"Yep," was all Elena said as we brushed our teeth.

~ No One's P.O.V. ~

We know that Bethanne died and when Federick went to Pearl she stabbed him as punishment for not listening to her. Later that night, Anna confronted Jeremy who told her he wanted her to change him into a vampire.
