I don't own Vampire Diaries, or any other references I will use in the story. I only own Harmony Gilbert. And I am sorry for the last chapter. I know it was short. I will try to do better.

Chapter 19 - Isobel

~ Harmony's P.O.V. ~

I was helping with the float for the Founders' Parade. I was walking by with more materials for the float when I notice a man starting to climb the trailer Matt was under. I dropped my stuff and ran to him. I had just managed to get to him when the man jumped and made the trailer fall on top of his arm. After helping Matt get out of the trailer, I saw Caroline calling for an ambulance.

"You're going to be okay Matty," I said, as I looked around.

I saw Elena with a woman I never saw before. However, by her smug look on her face, I knew she had something to do with Matt getting hurt. I started to head towards them when I was grabbed from behind. Since everyone's attention was on Matt, no one realized I was kidnapped. My kidnapper took me to this fancy house and shoved me into a room. I hit the ground hard and was slowly moving to rest on my knees when I heard my brother's voice.

"Harmony?" Jeremy asked.

I looked up and ran to him.

"Jeremy," I said.

We held onto each other until we heard voices. I looked at Jeremy.

"Is that Uncle John?" I asked.

"I think so," Jeremy said.

Uncle John came into the room with the same woman that was with Elena at school.

"What the hell are you doing?" Uncle John said.

"Getting what I want," The woman said.

"Yeah, but they're my niece and nephew," Uncle John said, "And you're going to let them go right this second."

"That gaudy ring on your finger comes off," the woman said.

"Come on Isobel. I-I know you. Ok? It's me, John. You can't hurt a kid," Uncle John said.

"I'll kill them to prove you wrong," the woman, now known as Isobel said.

"Really? Are that far gone?" Uncle John said, "Look, I know you've changed. Ok? But the old Isobel is still in there somewhere still. Isn't she? Come on. Let them go."

"Ok," Isobel said, but I knew she was lying.

Next thing I know, Isobel's lackeys start betting up Uncle John. I screamed and covered my mouth as tears began to fill my eyes. Isobel stopped them and took Uncle John's ring off his finger.

"Let's see how well you do without this," Isobel said before leaving the room.

Jeremy and I were shaking in fear. I slowly crouched down to where my Uncle was and placed a hand on his shoulder.

~ LATER THAT AT NIGHT ~

Jeremy gave Uncle John a wet rag to clean his cut. I sat on the floor with him. Leaning on his uninjured side.

"Thank you," Uncle John said.

"What is she after?" Jeremy asked.

"Your ancestor, Jonathan Gilbert, created a weapon to use against vampires. We've been trying to get it," Uncle John said.

"Why?" Jeremy asked.

"Cause there's a group of vampires from a long time ago, that wants revenge on this town," Uncle John said.

"Why would a vampire help you kill other vampires?" I asked.

"She has her own reasons for wanting them dead. Look, you guys. No one thought vampires would come to this town again. Not in modern times, but they have. We have to destroy them," Uncle John said.

"All of them?" Jeremy asked, "No, there are some good out there."

"There's no such thing," Uncle John said.

"I don't believe that," Jeremy and I said at the same time.

"Well, your dad did," Uncle John said, "And as his children, that should mean something to you."

"How did our father know about this?" Jeremy asked.

"Who did you think taught me about our family history?" Uncle John said.

We were silent. Isobel came into the room and told us we could go home. We left right away. Once at the house, Aunt Jenna was helping Uncle John with his cut. The house phone rang and Jeremy answered.

"Yeah, we're fine. Uncle John hit his head. It was an accident," Jeremy said.

"And we're all laughing," Aunt Jenna said.

"But, yeah. We're okay," Jeremy continued to say.

Jeremy soon hung up the phone and I got dinner started. We ate and I decided to sleep with my twin tonight. I was laying in his bed when Elena came into the room. She didn't realize I was there.

"Jer, we need to talk about this," Elena said.

"No, we don't," Jeremy said.

"Yes, we do. I don't know what Anna told you, but there are things you need to know," Elena said.

"Oh yeah? I think Harmony and your journal told me all I need to know," Jeremy said.

"You read my journal? What do you mean, Harmony told you?" Elena asked, before realizing I was in the room. "You knew?"

"Of course I knew, Elena. I knew since Damon attack Zack Salvator during the Sexy Suds Car Wash," I told her, "You have no room to judge me."

"Harmony is right. And save me the speech of invasion of privacy, because you had Damon erase my memory of what happened to Vicki," Jeremy said.

Elena went on the explain how she just wanted to take away his pain, and Jeremy didn't want to hear so he kicked her out of his room. Jeremy laid next to me and I quickly fell asleep. Not knowing the conversation that would follow.

~ Jeremy's P.O.V. ~

I couldn't fall asleep, I heard a sound and when I sat up I saw Anna.

"Anna? Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked her as I got up from my bed walking to her.

"My mother. She's dead," Anna said.

"What?" I said.

"She was killed," Anna said.

"Oh my god, Anna," I said, "I'm sorry."

"I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I have nowhere to go," Anna said crying.

I brought Anna in my arms.

"It's okay," I told her.

"Jeremy?" I heard Harmony call out.

Anna and I turned to see Harmony awake. When she saw Anna, Harmony got off the bed and went up to us.

"What wrong?" She asked Anna.

"My mother is dead," Anna said.

Harmony hugged Anna tightly. She looked at me over Anna's shoulder. Tears were filling her eyes. After a while, Harmony pulled away and said, "I'll sleep in my room tonight. Anna can sleep in your room, Jeremy."

"Thank you," I told her.

Harmony then looked at Anna and said, "You know where my room is. If you need me for anything, you know where to find me."

Harmony left the room to go to hers.

~ No One's P.O.V. ~

Isobel gives John the Gilbert Device and wants him to kill the Salvator Brothers along with the tomb vampires. Damon tells Stefan, John is Elena's biological father. Bonnie tells Caroline she didn't do what Elena asked her to do.
