It seemed going to Midgard to talk to Thor had been Loki's undoing. Loki appeared to be more angry and crazed since returning to Asgard. For a brief moment after leaving Thor, he had heard Nik. It was as if he had been speaking to him. He had felt the love his mate had, supposedly for him, but how could Nik love him if he had abandoned him? None of it made sense to Loki.

How could his mate speak so tenderly and feel such love towards him if he had been the one to leave Loki? Why had his voice seem so close? Was he on Midgard? Or was it simply because Midgard was right in between all other realms and therefore easier for his seidr to reach? So many questions running through Loki's head, but he had to remain focused. He had plans that still needed to be seen to.

Nik had a hard time getting his mind off of Loki. He knew he had felt his soulmate. If only for a second, but it was his prince he felt. He was sure of it. He needed to find him. To be with him again. Had Loki been on Midgard and if so then why? He was a prince of Asgard and of course as a prince, he would have to travel to different realms to discuss peace and politics.

But no one had visited Midgard in centuries. Nik needed to find Loki again, but he also had a job to do. And as the personal assistant of Tony Stark himself, that job left Nik with very little, if any free time. So all Nik could do was send out some of his seidr to search for any traces of Loki or his magic, while Nik continued working for Mr. Stark. The only downside was that Midgard was so large that it took a lot of seidr to search the entirety of this realm. It left Nik exhausted.

Tony had noticed something was wrong with Nikolas. Ever since he had freaked out during the SI meeting, Nik was different somehow. He wasn't sure why and he was a bit upset that Nik hadn't said anything to him, but he was determined to change that.

He had been spending a lot of time in the workshop trying to get caught up with the new Stark phone tech for the Expo and he was happy to say that besides a few tweaks and last minute tests, he was finally done with it. He could relax a bit before the Expo.

So Tony went looking for his personal assistant. He found him sitting at the breakfast bar in the penthouse, reading something off his StarkPad. He was wearing black dress pants and an emerald long sleeve shirt."Hey Nicktoons! What do you say to a movie marathon and pizza day?" Nik gave Tony a look that was both amused and puzzled. "Tony there's still a lot to be done before the Expo-"

Tony was shutting that down real quick. "Aep! I don't wanna hear it. I'm pretty much done with the new upgrades and if my magnificent brain doesn't get a crap-ton of cheese and pop culture, it'll turn to mush. So for the sake of a brilliant mind, you are obligated to join me. Friends don't let friends eat pizza alone. I mean I'll lose my gorgeous figure. I put a lot of work into looking this good."

Tony struck a pose, hands out showing off the fit body underneath his grease stained white A-shirt and blue jeans then did a full turn. "So the infinite amounts of coffee and greasy food you consume count as hard work?" Tony gave a boyish smile. "Yes. So go get some comfy clothes on and I'll fire up the first movie." "These are comfy clothes." Tony wrinkled his nose in disgust.

"Uh no. Those are fancy work clothes that summon the badass PA I hired to scare board members and make sure I'm a good boy." Nik laughed. "I'm pretty sure Pepper hired me. That board member was being annoying about every little thing and I apologised for making him cry. And I can say with one hundred percent certainty that no one could make you be a good boy. True, I think Pepper and myself do come close though."

Tony put a hand on his chest and gave Nik a outraged look. "Well now I'm emotionally hurt and need comfort in the form of movies and pizza. And since you were the one to wound me so, I think to make up for it you should spend the day watching movies with me." Nik sighed as he hid a smile. He could feel himself falling for Tony's charms.

It took nearly a week for his seidr to scour the realm and Nik found nothing, but a faint trace in New Mexico. He could not be sure that it was indeed Loki's magic or not. Nik had heard that someone had been doing some kind of experiment out there. Knowing this realm had strange devices that were for what the Midgardians called science, Nik couldn't guarantee that it had been his prince or not.

Though Nik was tempted to go to New Mexico and examine the residue magic he had found, the Stark Expo was less than two weeks away and Pepper would likely kill him if he missed it. Nik was discontented with the thought that he might lose the first lead he's had at finding his beloved after two hundred years.

In order to keep going, Nik told himself that there would be more opportunities to find Loki. He would not give up. He would find his raven-haired prince again if it killed him.

Loki walked down to the vaults, awoke the Destroyer, and sent it to stop Thor and his friends on Midgard. ~Treacherous fools! I'm trying to protect Asgard and they deem it necessary to bring Thor back. I'll have to slow them down, so I may finish what I started.~ Loki seethed the entire way to Odin's chambers to wait for Laufey to come kill the weakened All-Father.
