A/N: Thank you for all of the wonderful support! I really appreciate it. I would also like some reviews on how you like the story so far. Am I making things interesting enough? Constructive criticism, please... not destructive. :)
Also, if you somehow missed it, Polyamourous relations was requested. Harry is married to both Daphne and Susan, but that does not mean that Daphne and Susan will be intimately involved.
A/N 2: Part 2 of Rising Storms has just flown by! No, I didn't actively try to rush the story. It just happened to go pretty fast. I hope you aren't disappointed in this too much. Now, all that's left is to write Part 3! :) But first, a little break from this story as I work on a romance project for a submission...
Rising Storms
A Harry Potter and Percy Jackson crossover
Part 2
Chapter 16:
Harry
Harry watched proudly as the demigods and Grover closed their eyes. He looked back to Percy and saw him fully ascend, pulling the four rivers of Tartarus towards him where they swirled around his body before sliding back to their riverbeds. When Percy stopped glowing, Harry said, "Wow, Percy. Nice power up. It's okay, guys and gals, you can open your eyes."
Percy looked at Harry in shock. "Did I just control all four rivers?"
"Yep," Harry said, laughing slightly. "It was pretty cool."
Grover hurried over to Percy's side. "Percy," he asked. "How are we going to defeat this Titan?"
Harry looked at the demigods, Percy, and Grover... thinking about his family back in London. He hadn't seen them in a month and a half. Daphne would be getting close to her seventh month of pregnancy... He missed his family, but knew that he couldn't leave the others behind. He needed to finish the quest. These people were his family now, too, and he couldn't let them down.
Percy turned back to the Titan. "I don't know."
The earth shook as a woman rose from below. She looked like a young mother, looking around at the people. "Why are you in Tartarus? We can have so much fun above ground! Why don't you come with me and help me fight against the gods?" She smiled at them.
"Never," Percy said.
Gaea growls and pushes with her powers, making the ground roll beneath their feet. "You will join me sometime."
Harry felt that the power from her was really weak... What was going on? She was supposed to be really strong. He also noticed that Percy seemed to be getting stronger with each ripple of Gaea's power. Percy and Harry were fighting with Gaea and the Titan, trying to protect the others, and Harry was noticing the power strength of Gaea.
She was losing power with each hit. Possibly because she wasn't actually in the earth at this time... Harry took the time to look around at the Tartarus surroundings, frowning. The scenery flickered, and he started to see what looked like ribs and muscles and tendons, and Harry shuddered. He knew what that meant. Tartarus was a being as well as a prison. Harry focused on the fake scenery, and it appeared again. "Let's keep Gaea distracted and here. She is getting weaker and I think it's because we aren't really in the earth right now," Harry whispered to Percy.
Percy looked at Harry in shock and confusion. Then he nodded. "Okay," he replied.
The two lunged at Gaea with swords at the ready, slashing at her together, but she kept dodging their strikes. Harry jumped over her and spun around to try hitting her, but she still dodged! Gaea threw her power out at them, making the ground ripple again, but she stumbled.
"What's going on?" Gaea asked, looking up in fear.
Harry thought about everything that happened in the fight. It wasn't just the fact that she wasn't in the ground... she was fading! Probably because she was using her powers so much in a space that wasn't her domain, but she was definitely getting weaker. Harry grinned. 'Keep her using her powers,' he thought to Percy, hoping that the other new god would hear.
Percy's eyes snapped to him and he nodded to Harry. They worked together to keep her busy and using her powers. They weren't actually landing hits on her, since she was a little fast for them, but the busier they kept her, the easier it would be to tire her out and defeat her.
Harry watched her as she fell to her knees. Gaea let out a scream of denial right before she faded away. Harry ran a hand over his hair. "I'm glad that's over."
"It was a bit anti-climatic, though." Percy looked back at the others who were rallying around Jason. Jason was getting really pale. "Jason doesn't look good."
Harry nodded. "Get him to the river of fire. The river will heal him for a while. Take the others with you. I'll take care of this and meet you there." He watched as Percy picked up Jason, and then they were gone, running to the river. Harry turned hardened eyes to the Titan. "Let's end this."
The Titan laughed. "You can't do anything to me," he said, though his eyes kept flitting to where Gaea had faded.
Harry could see that he wasn't as confident as he wanted to appear. "I can do so much to you," Harry said. He decided to use his wizarding magic for this. Bombarda didn't do much, but knocked the Titan back. Harry tried a few different spells, but none of them seemed to work well. "Hmm, this will be interesting." The Titan yelled with every spell. Harry used glacius to freeze the Titan, and then bombarda again to shatter him. "He'll be back, but we'll be gone." Harry smiled and turned to hurry after his friends.
Percy was giving Jason a drink from the river of fire; Piper, Hazel, Frank, and Leo were laying on the ground panting; and Grover was checking on the others. Grover saw Harry first. "Harry!"
"Hey, guys. We're good to go, as soon as Jason is as stable as possible." Harry looked over at Percy and Jason.
Percy nodded. "He's as healed as he can be down here."
"Okay," Harry said. "Let's get out of here." They each took three people with them and Harry told Percy, "Just think of Olympus's throne room, and we should be able to teleport there." Then they were gone.
...
The throne room of Olympus was full, as the Olympian gods sat on their thrones to discuss the current situation. Suddenly, Harry and Percy appeared with their friends. Zeus stood up suddenly, looking horrified at the sight of his son. "What happened?"
Harry looked up at him. "After you left with Hera, we fell into Tartarus." He heard the gasps, but ignored them. "We were attacked a few times, including by a Titan and Gaea herself."
"What happened when she showed up," Hades asked.
Harry looked over at him and smiled. "She faded. I think it was because she was fighting us in Tartarus instead of where she was strongest, but I could be wrong."
"She's gone?" Poseidon asked, holding Percy close. Percy wasn't struggling, but instead was hugging his dad back.
"She's gone," Harry said, smiling at the father-son duo.
