Witches are real?!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my versoin of The Owl House. In this story, Luz has an older brother that follows her to the Boiling Isles. What adventures will they get into? Will they grow closer as siblings? Let's find out as we join them on their journey through the Boiling Isles.

Also, no hate on how I write this chapter. Let's keep things peaceful and cival. Now, onto the chapter.

Our adventure begins as we see a car driving off from a school. Inside the car, we see a woman that looked to be in her late 30's to early 40's, a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. This is Camila Noceda and her two children, Carlos and Luz.

Camila was wearing a set of cyan scrubs with darker, blue-rimmed sleeves, white shoes, glasses with red and black frames, and blue earrings. She worked as a vet.

Carlos was a bit taller than his mother, Camila. He looked a lot like his late father, but he didn't have as much facial hair. He also had a bit of a muscle tone to him. He was wearing a purple shirt with a dog on it, cargo shorts and sandles.

Luz wore a pair of ebony earrings, a short-sleeved half-white and half-indigo hooded shirt with cat ears attached to the hood, high-waisted jean shorts, dark gray capri leggings, and a pair of white loafers.

Camila had been called to Luz's school, as Luz had brought snakes to school for a school project. To say Camila was disappointed at Luz was an understatement.

"Mija, you know that bringing snakes into school for a project could've gotten people hurt." Camila told Luz.

"I know, mama." Luz said, as she was looking out the window.

"You need to learn more to stay safe and make sure others are safe, hermana." Carlos said.

"I know, Carlos. I'm not a baby." Luz said, as they pulled up to their house. They all got out and went into the house.

"Get ready, mija. The bus for camp will be here soon." Camila told Luz.

Luz had went upstairs to pack a bag. She even packed up her favorite book, The Good Witch Azura. Once she was done, she had went outside to wait for the bus for camp. It hadn't been a full minute of Luz waiting when she felt an arm around her shoulder. She looked over and saw Carlos there, as he was packed up too, but for a different camp.

"I know this camp mama is sending you to sounds like a punishment, but she just wants you to be safe." He told her.

"I know, but I just want to feel accepted for who I am." Luz said, as she took out her book. She took a look at it for a few seconds before throwing it in the trash.

"Why are you throwing that away? Isn't it your favorite book?" Carlos asked, looking confused.

"Yeah, I don't think others would like it at camp." Luz said, a little saddened.

That's when the front door opened and Camila came out. "Remember that your buses are coming. And make sure to behave yourselves." She said.

"We know, mama." Carlos said. Camila suddenly forgot something inside, as she went back in the door.

Luz looked back at the trashcan and saw the book was gone. "Where's my book?" She asked, looking around. She then saw a small owl holding a bag of junk, and in the bag was her book. Once the owl was spotted by her, it took off

"Hey! Get back here book thief!" Luz shouted, as she started running after the small owl. Carlos had heard her and saw her running towards the forest.

"Luz? Hey, wait up." He said, as he grabbed his stuff and starts following her. Luz was ahead of him for a little distance, as he caught up and asked. "What's going on?"

"That thief took my book." Luz said, pointing to the owl with a bag.

"Wait, why is it holding a bag? And why would it want your book?" Carlos asked, confused.

"I don't know, but I have a feeling we're going to find out." Luz said.

The two siblings kept chasing the owl, when the owl had reached an old, abandoned house and went through the door. They had reached the doorway, when Carlos stopped Luz.

"Are you sure we should follow it further?" He asked.

"I need to get my book back. Now, are you with me?" Luz asked.

"Fine, let's get your book." Carlos said, as they then both went through the door.

What the siblings were expecting when they went through the door was a run down inside of the house. When they went through the door, however, they were in a big tent full of human things.

"Whoa, where are we?" Luz asked.

"I don't know. I was expecting the inside of the worn down house." Carlos said.

"Finally, you're back." They heard a feminine voice call out.

This put both siblings on high alert, as Carlos silently told Luz to follow him to the entrance of the tent. Once they got there, they poked their heads out and saw that a woman with long, grey hair. She was wearing a red dress, black tights, black high-heeled ankle boots and a green bandana with polka-dots on her head. She was standing there with her back to them. They also saw the owl with the bag of goods.

"Now, let's see what we got here." The woman said, as the owl had landed on the end of the staff the woman pulled out and twisted it on until it became motionless wood. She then started looking through the bag, as she pulled out a cell phone, a diamond ring and what looked like the Holy Grail.

"Garbage, garbage, garbage. Now this, this will make me rich." She said, pulling out googly-eye glasses and the eyes sprang down. She then pulled out Luz's book and said, "And this... eh, this will make good kindling." She then put the book over the flame of a candle and started burning the book, surprising the siblings. Luz then runs out before Carlos could stop her.

"Excuse me. Sorry, that's mine. Thank you." Luz quickly said, as she quickly grabbed the book and went back to hiding. This made the woman surprised. Once Luz grabbed the book, both the siblings tried running through the door, but the door closed and turned into a suitcase with an eye.

"You two aren't going anywhere." The woman said, as they turned to see she was holding a key with the same eye on the door/suitcase.

"Now you made her mad." Carlos said, as Luz put her book in her bag and they left by going under the tent.

"Well, I didn't want her burning my book." Luz said. They continued for about 10 feet, until they came to a small cliff overlooking a small, yet creepy looking town. There were houses with teeth, some houses had eyes. Heck, there were even houses on hands sticking out of the ground. They could even see the weird beings living around the town.

"What is this place?" Luz asked.

"It isn't Connecticut, that's for sure." Carlos said, then added. "Hopefully it isn't what I think it is." Both siblings then felt a hand on one of their shoulders, as they looked to see the woman standing there.

"You'd be wrong on that one, bud." The woman said, as she had brought them both back to her stand.

"Please, if you're gonna punish us, I'll take all the blame." Carlos said, making sure to shield Luz from the woman.

"Punish you? Why would I punish... potential customers!" The woman said, as this surprised the two siblings. They weren't expecting her to say that.

"Customers?" They both asked, confused.

"That's right. Can I offer you a human foot with holes? Bar of green human candy? Oh, how about this black shadow box that reflects only sadness." The woman offered, as she first held up a yellow Croc shoe, followed by a bar of men's deodorant and the last item she showed was an old, portable TV.

The two siblings looked at each other, then let out a laugh, as Carlos spoke up. "That's not all it can do. Here, let me see it." He said. He took the portable TV from the woman, as he saw batteries on the woman's table and grabbed them. He then put the batteries in a small compartment on top and turned the TV on, as it showed an old exercise video on it.

The sound from the TV got the attention from everyone in the surrounding area, as they all rushed over and started offering their version of currency called Snails. One even asked if they could eat the person inside the TV.

"Wow, who knew that would be so popular." Luz said silently to Carlos.

"Yeah, it's just a TV." Carlos added silently to Luz.

"What did you two say your names were?" The woman asked the siblings, as she was taking the money from customers.

"I'm Luz, and this is my brother, Carlos." Luz introduced herself and Carlos to the woman.

"I'll admit, that was pretty clever, for a human." The woman said, directing most of her attention to Carlos.

"That's kind of weird for another human to say." Carlos told her.

"Oh, dear child. I'm not like you." The woman said, as she took off the bandana that was on her head, revealing that she had pointy ears. She then got on her table and said, "I am Eda, the Owl Lady. The most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles."

"A witch?" The siblings said together.

"I'm a respected, feared-" Eda started, but was interrupted.

"Busted!" Said a somewhat gruffy male voice. We see a guard smash the TV Eda was going to sell, evident by the guard armor he was wearing. He was also wearing a mask that closely resembled a plague doctors mask.

"Eda, the Owl Lady. You are are wanted for misuse of magic and demonic misdemeanors." The guard said, as he held up a wanted poster with Eda and a small, furry-looking creature on it.

"Whoa, witch criminal." Luz said, both amazed and surprised.

"You are hereby ordered to come with me to the confirmatory" The guard told Eda.

"Would you guys quit following me around. I haven't done squat." Eda told the guard.

"And you two are coming with me, for fraternizing with a criminal." The guard said, picking up both Luz and Carlos by the backs of their shirts.

"What?! That's not cool!" Luz exclaimed.

"Let us go!" Carlos shouted, as he gave the guard a swift kick to the chin. This, in turn, made the guard drop him and Luz while stumbling back a bit.

"Nice one, kid." Eda said, praising the kick.

"Well, I had to protect us somehow." Carlos said, as he helped Luz up from the ground.

"Hey, that hurt, kid!" The guard growled, nursing his chin.

"And this will hurt more." Eda said, as she grabbed her staff and hit the guard with it, making him fall on his butt.

"Nice swing." Carlos commented.

"Thanks. Now, let's get outta here." Eda said, as she magically packed up her things. She also remembered to get the magical door to the huma realm. "Follow me, humans." Eda said, as she ran in a certain direction. Both Noceda siblings had no choice but to follow her.

They all kept running a short distance, which they rounded a corner and Eda's owl at the end of her staff opened it's wings, which she hopped on and grabbed both siblings. She pulled both onto the staff, which they flew from a now dejected guard. Once they were up in the air, they all let out a sigh of relief.

"That was a close one." Eda said, as she was sitting at the back of the staff.

"Yeah. What made you a criminal to them, anyways?" Carlos asked, as he was siting between Eda and Luz on the staff.

"That's a long story for another time. Let's just get somewhere safe for now." Eda said, as she was now steering her staff to a forest. Once they got into the forest, they landed on a path. Eda lead them down that path.

"Where are we going?" Luz asked curiously.

"To my place, of course. Safest place for us on the Boiling Isles." Eda said. They continued a little further, until they came to a strange house with a broken tower attatched to it.

"Is this your place?" Luz asked.

"Doesn't look like much of a safe place." Carlos added, a little disappointed.

"Trust me, my house has the best security system out there." Eda said, as they walked up to the door with an owl head in the door.

"Hooh, hoot. What's the password?" The owl asked in an annoyingly high-pitched voice. That's when Eda poked him in the eye.

"Now's not the time, Hooty. Just let us in." Eda told the owl, now named Hooty.

"Alright, alright. Geez, you never want to have any fun. Ow. Hoot." Hooty said, annoyed. He then opened his mouth to the whole doorframe, showing not only the inside of the place, but that he had teeth. Everyone walked through, as Hooty closed his mouth after everyone went through. We then pan inside, where we see everyone standing in a living room.

"Welcome to, the Owl House." Eda said, as she snapped a finger and some candles lit up. "Where I hide away from the modern pressures of life. Also the cops. Also ex-boyfriends." Eda added with a chuckle.

"This place is beautiful. Do you live here alone?" Luz asked, admiring the place. That's when the place starts shaking from thunderous footsteps.

"What is that?" Carlos asked, worried.

"Actually, I have a roommate." Eda said, with what sounded like annoyance.

"Who dares intrude on I, the king of demons!" Came a deep voice from down a hallway, as it raised in pitch the closer it came to the doorway. What stood in the doorway was what looked like the same creature that was in Eda's wanted poster, though he was wearing light-blue towels with ducks and hearts on his head and waist, while also carrying a rubber duck.

Once the siblings got a good look at him, Luz started to gush, while Carlos was struggling to hold back laughter at what this creature was wearing.

"Ay, que lindo! Eda, he's so cute! Who's a widdle guy? Who's a widdle guy? Is it you? Is it you?" Luz asked, as she had rushed the little guy and started acting cutsie and cuddly towards him.

"No, I don't know who your little guy is! Eda, who is this monster?!" The creature asked, panicking at Luz's advances. Carlos had to hold his sister back, so she didn't give the little guy a panic attack.

"Luz, calmate." Carlos whispered into Luz's ear, trying to calm her down.

"This is Luz, the human. And the one holding her back is her brother, Carlos. They're here to help us with our... little situation." Eda said, while introducing the siblings.

"Oh, hooray!" The creature cheered.

"Wait, wait, wait! I don't like the sound of this 'situation.'" Carlos said, as he put Luz down and put air quotes around situation.

"Just, let me explain." Eda said, as she made a magic circle with her fingers. The circle then started acting like a TV for what looked like a flashback.

"King was a mighty king of demons, until his crown was stolen and he became... this." Eda started, as she motioned to the creature now known as King, who was in Luz's arms again.

"You mean this little bundle of joy." Luz said.

"The crown is being held by the evil Warden Wrath and locked behind a magical force field that only a human can break through. A human like one of you two. If you help us retrieve his crown, we'll send you two back to your realm. So, what do you say?" Eda had finished her explanation, as she held king up. "Plus, who can say no to this face."

"No, don't encourage her!" King exclaimed.

"I mean, we're kinda your only way home." Eda told them.

"So we don't really have a choice, do we?" Carlos asked.

"Nope. Now, we've got no time to lose." Eda said, as she grabbed both siblings and walked out the door.

"Soon, Mr. Ducky, we shall drink the fear of those who mocked us." King said, as he picked up the runner duck off the ground and followed Eda.

"Where are we going?" Luz asked

"Somewhere fun." Eda told her.

"No me gusta como suena eso." Carlos said in spanish.

"I don't know what you just said, but I will take it as an agreement." Eda said, not understanding spanish one bit.

We are now at a weirdly-shaped tower that is surrounded by a wall, as outside the wall there was a lot of curved spike protrusions coming out of the ground. We see Eda, King, Carlos and Luz hiding outside the front gates.

"The Conformatorium, a place for those considered unsuitable for society." Eda explained. That's when Luz saw another wanted poster of Eda and King hanging up next to her and grabbed it.

"Whoa, these guys really have the hots for you." Luz said aloud.

"Yep. But we were never caught because we're too slippery." Eda said, giving a wink.

"Try catching me when I'm covered in grease. I'm a squirmy little fella." King said. "You two and I will sneak up to the top of the tower, where they're holding my crown."

"And I'm going to make sure the Warden is distracted." Eda told them. This made Luz gasp in excitement.

"Will we need disguises?" She asked.

"Uhh..." This made Eda have to stop and think about it.

"I've been waiting to use this." Luz said, as she put up her hood to reveal fake cat ears attatched to the hood. " Meow, meow."

"It's hideous." King told her.

"You'll fit right in." Eda added. That made Carlos sigh in frustration, as he knew how eccentric Luz could be. Eda then made a platform of light for King, Luz and Carlos. "Hang on tight." She told them, as she got off of it and it took them through the air.

"Whoa!" Luz, Carlos and King all exclaimed, as they all went through the air. The platform got close to a window, as it disappeared. Carlos had grabbed the window ledge just in time, while Luz grabbed onto her brother and King grabbed onto her.

"Meet you guys at the top of the tower." Eda said loudly, as she had gotten on her staff and flew up the tower. King climbed up and into the window, followed by Luz and then Carlos. When Luz went through the window, she landed face first on the ground.

"Ha ha, cats don't do that." King laughed. The trio looked around and saw a bunch of prison cells with different beings in them.

"Man, when Eda said this place was a prison, she wasn't kidding." Carlos said. That's when they heard a feminine voice call out to them.

"Hey, you with the cat lady, how'd you get out of your cells?" The voice asked, as they turned around and saw a woman stuck in a cell. She had somewhat dark skin with black hair tied in a ponytail and green eyes. She was wearing a purple strapless dress that showed off her shoulders, black knee-high boots and a gold choker around her neck. This is Katya

" Oh, no, no, no. I'm not a cat." Luz said, taking off her hood.

"Also, we aren't criminals." Carlos added.

"Not yet, you're not." King remarked to both of them.

"Neither are we. The stupid warden likes to lock people up who don't fit in. Like, I write fanfics of food falling in love. I like food, I like love. Just let me write about it." Katya said, as she had shown a book about her stories.

"I'm here because I like eating my own eyes." A demon in the next cell said, as we pan over to him. He was a grayish-blue color that only wore gray capris. He also had six eyes, which a couple were missing. He then took an eye out of its socket, ate it and it popped back into the same socket he took it out of.

" We are agents of free expression. They will never silence us." Came a voice from the other side of Katya, as we pan over to see a small creature in there. The creature looked like only a head with arms and legs. She also had brown hair and a big nose. This is Tinella Nosa.

"Yeah, she's really big into conspiracy theries." Katya said.

"The world is a simulation. We are playthings for a higher being." Tinella said.

"Wait. These aren't crimes. None of you actually did anything wrong." Luz said, as she took out the poster with Eda and King on it. "You're all a bunch of weirdos. Like me."

"Luz, I know you want to do what's right, but we can't just free these guys. We're here to help Eda and King so we can get back home, remember." Carlos said, as he knew what his sister was thinking.

"He has a point." KIng added. That's when they heard the ground shaking, as they also heard footsteps coming their way.

"It's Warden Wrath. Hide." Katya said.

"No need to tell us twice." Carlos said, as he saw an open cell and pushed Luz and King inside, as he entered and pulled the metal door down. He made sure it didn't lock in place, or they would be truly trapped with the other prisoners.

We then pan to see a door open up, as the one who opened it up was a big, muscular demon. He wore a dark gray cowl with a small gold fasten over a beaked mask with yellow button-like lenses. He wears a white sleeveless tunic with brass buttons, a brown leather belt with a brass buckle, and black trousers tucked into dark purple shoes. On his uniform, one can also see a triangular brass badge, which apparently emphasizes his position. This was Warden Wrath.

"I can hear you." Wrath said, as he walked to the area where the talking was going on. "Just what are you fools whispering about?" He then noticed a wanted poster of Eda and King on the ground, which Luz had dropped when she was pushed into the cell.

"Oh, the Owl Lady." He said, as he picked up the poster. He then let out a grunt, as he crumbled up the paper and turned his hand into a hammer, as he hit the cell Luz, King and Carlos were in, denting that part of the cell. "I'll get my hands on her soon enough." As he was about to notice the two siblings and King, Tinella spoke up.

"Fight against the oppressor. We will resist. We will conquer." She said. This made Wrath come over to her cell. "We will never be afraid of you, you old creep." That statement made Wrath open her cell. "Hooray! I'm free." She exclaimed, until Wrath grabbed her.

"Let this be a lesson to all of you. There's no place in society for you if you can't fit in." Wrath said, as he squeezed Tinella, making her yelp in pain. He then took her away, closing the door behind him.

This was the perfect time for Carlos to open the cell, as he, Luz and King came out of it. They then went over to Katya's cell.

"Don't worry. I can get you out." Luz said, as she tried pulling up on the lever, but it wouldn't budge for her. "No. My weak nerd arms."

"Here, let me try." Carlos said. He then grabbed the lever and pulled up on it, as it pulled up for him and Katya's cell opened up. He did the same thing for the guy who ate his eyes.

"I thought you didn't want to free these guy's." King said to Carlos.

"I didn't. But, after seeing Warden Wrath, Luz was right. These guys shouldn't be locked up for what they like doing."Carlos admitted, then added. "You guys can leave freely now."

"Thanks, we won't forget this." Katya said, as she and the guy who eats his eyes left.

"Now, let's go find Eda." Carlos said.

"And get my crown!" Kind said in excitment. That's when all three left and entered a hallway. Eda then flew in on her staff.

"Hey, I just checked. The warden is distracted, tormenting some tiny creature. He won't be coming around here anytime soon." She said.

"Yeah, we almost had a close encounter with him in the cells." Carlos said.

"It was a little frightening." Luz admitted. They then came to a huge door that had the word 'Contraband' on it.

"My crown. It's close. I can sense its power." King excitedly said, as he rushed to the door and grabbed the handle.

"Oh, he gets so cute when he's thirsty for power." Eda cooed at King's antics.

"Eda, why are people locked up in here for being weird? Why does everyone think that being a weirdo is so bad?" Luz asked.

"You know how it goes. People think weird is bad and normal is good. It's just how some people view the world." Eda told her. That's when they notice King had tore the handle off the door and opened it. "Come on, before he hurts himself." She said with a sigh.

They all entered the room King went into, as a small crackling could be heard, followed by King saying 'Ow.' Once they entered the room, the only thing you could see in there was a huge light barrier surrounding things that were taken from someone. We then see King run head first into the barrier, only for him to be bounce back onto his butt.

"We have humans, remember?" Eda asked

"Oh, yeah." King said, remembering that part.

"Well, we can't back down now." Carlos said, as Luz took a deep breath. Both humans head for the barrier, as once they got close enough to it, they both passed right through it. Once they got through the barrier, they saw a huge pile of junk with a crown at the top.

"Wait a second. Is that a..." Luz started, as she climbed up and got the crown. Once she got it, she came back down and showed it to Carlos.

"Seriously, that's the crown King lost?" Carlos asked, once outside the barrier. The crown was a cardboard crown from a fast-food place called Burger Queen.

"My crown!" King exclaimed, as he took the crown and placed it on his head. "Yes. Yes. I can feel my powers returning. You there. Nightmare critter. I shall call you Francois, and you shall be a minion in my army of darkness. Ha, ha!" He said, as he pointed at and picked up a toy bunny rabbit.

"That crown doesn't give him any powers, does it?" Luz asked.

"Uh, no." Eda said, as Luz and Carlos gave her different looks. "Oh, look at us. King and I don't have much in this world. We only have each other. So if that dumb crown is imprtant to him, it is important to me. And besides, us weirdos have to stick together, you know?" Eda said, as the last part was more to Luz.

"That's one way of saying it." Carlos said.

"Well, we owe you one. Now, let's get out of here before the warden finds us and loses his head." Eda said. As she said that, the huge frame of the warden came up behind Eda.

"Too late." Wrath said, as he changed his hand into a scythe blade and cuts Eda's head off. The head lands in Luz's arms, as she screams in fright.

"Santo cielo!" Carlos yelled in shock and surprise.

"Ow! Oh, I hate when that happens." Eda said. This surprised the siblings even more, as they weren't expecting Eda to still be alive.

"Eda, are you okay?" Luz asked, concerned for the witch.

"Yeah. This just happens when you get older." Eda said.

"Does it?" Both Carlos and Luz asked.

"Finally, I have you cornered, Eda the Owl Lady." Wrath said, as he took King's crown and made sure he couldn't reach it. "My guards could never get you, but I knew if I took your pet's toy, you'd come running." He then crushed the crown in his hands.

"No! My power!" King said, as he starts crying.

"What do you want with me? I've never actually broken any of your stupid laws, in front of you." Eda said.

"I want you to go out with me." Wrath said, as he kneeled down to where Eda's head was and brought out a boquet of flowers.

"Wha.../ What?/ Huh?" Eda, Luz and Carlos all said one after another.

"Go, boss." One of the guards that accompanied Wrath said, as the other gave two thumbs up.

"You've always eluded our capture. You've always been the one who got away. I find that alluring." Wrath said.

"I hate everything you're saying right now." Luz said.

"Same here." Carlos added.

"You stay out of this." Wrath said, as he let go of the flowers and extended his arms, grabbing Luz. He would've gotten Carlos, but he jumped out of his reach at the last second.

"Luz!" Carlos cried out.

"One more step and she'll get hurt." Wrath threatened, to which Carlos begrudgingly obliged. Wrath then picked Eda up by the hair so they were face-to-face "So how about it, Owl Lady? The most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles and the feared Warden Wrath. We'd be the strongest power couple ever. I mean, it's like you can't say no right now."

Eda was in a pickle right now. She looked to Luz, who was being held in the air by Wrath. She then looked to Carlos and King, who were being captured by the other two guards. She had no other options.

"All right, Warden. You win. I'd just like to say something first. Come closer. No, just a little bit closer. Just... Yeah, that's good." Eda said, as wrath got closer to his face and she then blew a raspberry in his face. This made Wrath drop Luz so he could wipe his face, as Eda laughed.

Seeing as how Luz wasn't in any danger now, Carlos mustered up his strength and flipped the guard that was holding him on his back. He then kicked the other guard in the gut and grabbed King when he was let go. They then ran over to Luz.

"Luz, are you alright?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Let's get Eda and get out of here." Luz said, as she grabbed Eda's staff and bonked Warden Wrath on the head when he was distracted, making him let go of Eda and fall to the ground.

"Nice." Eda commented.

"Let's get out of here." Luz said, as she grabbed Eda's head while Carlos got the rest of Eda.

They then all got on Eda's staff and flew out the door, just as Warden Wrath was getting up. As they left, Wrath starts giving chase to them. They continue the chase until they got outside, where Wrath extended an arm and hit the back of the staff, making everyone fall to the ground.

"Ow, my bones!" King exclaimed.

"Luz, Carlos. Go back to the human world." Eda said, as she took the key from earlier out of ther hair and giving it to Luz. She then ran to fight Wrath.

"What about you guys?" "Luz asked.

"If you think this guy is bad, you should've seen her last boyfriend." King joked, joining Eda in the fight.

"Not my boyfriend." Eda said, as she grabbed King and dodged an attack from Wrath.

"We aren't leaving you two to fight him alone." Carlos said. He had to admit, he was kind of liking this world, even if it could be dangerous.

"Fine, but stay out of the way." Eda said.

Warden Wrath then took off his mask, revealing a face with a huge mouth with sharp teeth and two tiny, yellow eye. He let out a roar, as he shot a flamethrower from his mouth directly at Eda. Eda made a magic circle where the fire went in, followed by another circle that redirected the fire back to Wrath. It hit Wrath, sending him to a wall.

The wall crumbled when Wrath got up, revealing the three prisoners from earlier. Both Luz and Carlos noticed them and went to the wall while the fight went on.

"What are you guys doing here still? You should escape now." Carlos said.

"We couldn't leave without her." Katya said, pointing down to Tinella who was now supporting a black eye.

"Plus, now we're scarred that Warden Wrath will catch us again." Eye-eating guy said.

"Self-doubt is a prison you can never escape from." Tinella said.

That's when Luz made the speech that weirdos should stick together and not be punished for who they are. This inspired the three former prisoners to rally out. Heck, this inspired Carlos a little, as he was impressed by the speech Luz did. They all cheered, as they rushed to fight Warden Wrath.

Meanwhile, Eda and King had been knocked down by Wrath while fighting. "No more running away, Owl Lady. Today I capture you once and for all." Wrath said, lifting his hands that were shaped into blades in the air.

"Go, go, go, go!" Luz called out, as all the former prisoners plus Carlos tackled Warden Wrath away from Eda and King.

"Huh?" Eda asked, a little confused.

"I like to eat my own eyes!" Eye-eating guy yelled while pushing Wrath.

"I think the world is a triangle." Tinella said, as she got under Wrath's feet and made him trip to the ground.

"And I practice the anciant art of fanfiction." Katya said, while she and Carlos held Wrath down. Eye-eating guy came over and tied up Wrath's arms, as he was flipped over to his stomach.

"You. Who do you think you are?" Wrath asked, as he was drooling fire from his mouth.

"Don't underestimate me, Warden Wrath, for I am Luz, the human, warrior of peace." Luz said, as Carlos rolled his eyes at his sister's statement. "Now eat this, sucker!" She yelled, as she grabbed three fireworks that were tied together from her bag and threw it, as it landed in Wrath's mouth.

"Everyone, out of the way!" Carlos yelled, as he and the rest got off of Warden Wrath. Just as they did, the fireworks went off. This made Warden Wrath run off in defeat, as everyone cheered. That's when Eda came over with King on her shoulder.

"That was actually one of her better breakups." King joked.

" Not a breakup. Anyways, let's bounce before any more monsters fall in love with me." Eda said, as she, King and the siblings got on the staff and flew away from the prison.

They were all back ath the Owl House, as they were standing in the living room. Eda then spoke up. "Well, a deal's a deal. Let's get you two home." She said, snapping her fingers.

The Key that was in Luz's bag flew out into Eda's hand, as she pressed the eyeball on it like a button. That's when the suitcase turned into the door leading to the human world.

"Ya era hora." Carlos said in spanish. With the day he had, he was ready to get out of this place.

"Before we go... I know it isn't the same, but a king shouldn't be without a crown." Luz said, as she had taken a doll head with a crown on her head and gave the crown to King.

"This shall suffice." King said. "You there, plant. You are now under my command." He added, pointing and walking to some kind of plant.

"Oh, and don't forget this." Eda said, handing Luz her book and the brochure to the camp she was supposed to go to.

Once Luz joined Carlos at the door, she had looked at her book and then a mirror. She then realized she could stay here to become a witch.

"Okay. I know you got your head cut off, and we started some kind of prison riot, but this was the most fun I've ever had." Luz said. She then continued. " I don't fit in at home. You don't fit in here. If we stay, we could not fit in together."

"Luz, you know mama would be worried about us if we didn't come back." Carlos told her.

"I know, but I was hoping to stay here and train to be a witch like Eda and Azura." Luz said, looking from Carlos to Eda.

"That sounds pretty crazy. Humans can't become witches." Eda said.

"Maybe that's because they haven't tried. If you teach me to become a witch, I'll do anything you want." Luz said.

"Well, if you stay, then I'll have to stay. If I don't watch over you, mama will have a cow." Carlos said, as he could see there was no changing Luz's mind.

"Let them stay." King said, then whispered to Eda. "They could make us snacks."

"Well, I could use a hand keeping this goofball out of the cupboards." Eda said, picking up King. She then added. " All right. I'll teach you to be a witch. But you have to work for me before you learn any spells. Deal?" Eda then extended a hand, only for Luz to put Eda and King in a big hug.

"You'll get used to her doing that. Eventually." Carlos said, seeing Luz hugging Eda and King.

Both Luz and Carlos had been shown to their rooms. Luz got a spare room with a lot of junk in it, while Carlos slept in King's room. They both decided to get ready for bed and see what the next day brought them.

And there you go, my first chapter of my version of an Owl House fanfic. I do love the show, as I thought what it would be like if Luz had an older sibling that helped Eda look over her in the Boiling Isles.

I know it isn't completely different from the first episode, but it is different enough with my OC included. Hope you all enjoyed the first chapter, as I will continue if you do enjoy it.
