Exo War RX Overview
BGM-Tekken 4 OST-Fetus
The Story So Far
The multiverse is dead. Long live the multiverse. From the ashes of the old cosmos, a new one is born. Matter, energy, time, space…And something in between. ISO-8, also called Neutronium…The birth caul of the universe. Weaponized space-time…The most powerful substance in all creation. And by far the rarest…Except in one place, where it can be picked from the ground like gravel. Exo-Space…The outer edge of the multiverse. It is home to eldritch forms and predatory concepts. A realm that allows positive and negative matter to coexist, containing the lion's share of the multiverse's ISO-8. A vast treasure that has lured many with its promise of infinite power. Among them, Victor von Doom. Infamously feared as Doctor Doom.
In his quest for power, Doom conquered Exo-Space and experimented on its ISO-8 so they could be used to conquer his home dimension. His arrogance led to the destruction of Exo-Space and scatter ISO-8 across the Earth in a cosmic event named The Pulse. ISO-8 tipped the scales of power for everyone, between superheroes that vow to defend the world, and supervillains that swore to rule it. Eventually this conflict bleed into other dimensions and alliances with the natives that developed their own plans with ISO-8. Such as the sinister collaboration between Doctors Octopus and Eggman, of Earth and Mobius respectively, to create a Cosmic Cube in order to conquer both universes. The Green Goblin destroying worlds to make room for his own using the Universal Seed. And Salem, the Wicked Witch of Remnant who used Symbiotes to launch an invasion on all dimensions. All of these nefarious schemes were foiled by the ultimate alliance between the heroes of Earth, Mobius, and Remnant. Blissfully unaware of Doom's hand in the events that only served to further his own tyrannical agenda for the multiverse.
But The Pulse was just an omen of the real crisis. The prelude: Incursions. Dimensions collided with each other and jeopardized all of existence. Everything died until the United Heroes brought them back to life. Then came the main event: The Exo Stones. The multiversal equivalent to the legendary Infinity Stones. Eight elemental crystals born and scattered during the multiversal rebirth that each control an essential aspect of existence: Heart. The first Stone found, and the first to influence the minds of all insects toward catastrophe. Chaos. Caught in a tempest of happenstance and research, it's impossible to see the direction you are moving. War. Sealed away by a Divine Dragon to end a conflict between dragons, it offers unity in service of destruction. Genesis. A weapon from a dark future that brandish the continuum of life and death. Dream. The crystallized essence of everyone's dreams that is rivaled by only one opposite. Nightmare. The darkness to the light. Respecting one but not the other will only result in your forever sleep. Evolution. A mutagenic engine of limitless potential. Such a revolutionary technique would not go unnoticed for long. The process proliferated to another…a revolution began. And Star. The most enigmatic of them all. It is said that whoever wields the Exo Eight wields the ultimate power to control all creation. Thus, the ISO-War transformed into the Exo War. A multiversal battle for the Stones that will determine the dimensions' fate. Among the warring factions, two prominent teams emerged in the race for the Exo Stones: The Dimensional Avengers and the Masters of Evil.
The Dimensional Avengers Initiative was a project created by Tony Stark and Steve Rogers to combat the rise in dimensional crime brought about by ISO-8. A multiversal response team was formed, comprised of the most remarkable people the dimensions have to offer. Spider-Man chief among them, for his adaptability and accomplishment in befriending Mobius and Remnant. Around the same time, Doctor Doom learned of the Exo Stones' existence and knew the only way to find them all is by forming his own team. Thus he created the Masters of Evil, composed of the most diabolical villains in the multiverse. The two groups engaged in epic clashes beyond several dimensions, fighting for possession of the Exo Stones while dealing with other malevolent forces that wanted the Stones for themselves. So far, the Avengers are in the lead with 5 Stones, leaving the Masters disappointed with their only 2. But even a single sword can defeat an entire army, if you know how to wield it. This was the lesson Doctor Doom had imparted onto his allies. Why wait to use all of the Exo Stones, when just two was needed to secure victory? His advice was encouraging. Pushing the Masters into perfecting his ultimate plan that will finally bring the multiverse to their knees. Project X Zone.
All but the Star Stone was left to be found. Or so thought. Unbeknownst to all participants in the Exo War, there is one competitor that has been building strength within the darkness. Thanos, the Mad Titan, is in possession of the last Exo Stone. He has been using its mysterious cosmic powers to bring every dimension he invades to its knees. One by one, they sunk into oblivion, all in the name of Death. How he obtained the Stone is as unclear as his motives are sketchy. One thing is for certain. His inevitable invasion of the Allied Worlds will bring the war to its end. To destruction? To peace? That is the unknowable. The answer lies in the climactic showdown that will unite worlds like never before in history.
