(Code Total Drama Reality Introduction Song Starts)

(No Pain No Game (From Btoom!))

(The ending of this story)

The song starts, showing the end of Code Lyoko where the Supercomputer is shut down and the former Lyoko Warriors leave the factory seemingly for the last time.

(I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly)

A single computer is shown coming online, lines of 1s and 0s streaming across the screen before the screen is replaced by a glowing sphere with the Eye of XANA, at least eight variations appearing on it. From the sphere came lines of data emerging in eight different directions. The lines of data formed into various regions, all of them floating landscapes resembling a forest, a desert, an arctic, mountains, volcanos, swamp and a jungle.

(Into this new world)

The new lands orbited the golden sphere as the camera zoomed in on the Eye of XANA staring at the screen.

(The game has only just begun)

The Eye then flashes red, and the sphere turns black.

(I can see it in your eyes)

A girl with pink hair sits on her bed, panting as she turns to see two pictures of her friends and her father. She smiles briefly but that smile turns to a look of horror as both her friends and her father are engulfed by a great darkness and the red Eye shines down on her. The Supercomputer, thought to be shut down, is reactivated and there is a flash of light.

(This is where tomorrow brings a new game)

Aelita is shown alone both in the real world and in Lyoko, hordes of monsters surrounding her.

Geoff is first shown in his human form before transitioning to his Lyoko form.

Next to him is Bridgette, holding her surfboard in the real world before changing into her Lyoko form, her board splitting into two swords.

(It's time to learn that pain is gain)

Gwen is shown sitting in front of tree, looking up and is instantly changed into her Lyoko Avatar, brandishing her scythe.

DJ is shown in the woods, tending to a little rabbit as he stands up and morphs into his Lyoko form, turning to face the camera with a stern glare.

LeShawna is last, ready to fight in both her human form and her Lyoko form.

(Ready fight!)

William and a dark reflection of himself as XANA's General are shown standing back-to-back, turning to face each other and swinging their swords.

The screen is split by the two swords, showing New Lyoko as the title appears:

CODE: TOTAL DRAMA REALITY

(I gotta crush and paint away the anguish)

Aelita is shown first, sitting at the computer before she is then shown as the DJ of a party. She morphs into her Lyoko form and conjures an energy field.

This was followed quickly Geoff wildly waving his hat while riding something with Bridgette holding onto him by the back.

(Of my past for sake of my future)

Gwen is shown next, drawing in her sketchbook and sighing with a sad face as Duncan, Courtney and Trent appear behind her, their backs facing in her direction.

(Until my life comes to an end)

DJ is shown running for his life from appears to be a giant bear.

(I am gonna fight to tear apart that destiny)

LeShawna is shown next, standing confidently with her team, ready to face whatever crazy challenge comes next.

(Aoh, break out and start a revolution)

The antagonists of Total Drama: Heather, Courtney, Justin, Anne Maria, Jo, Lightning, Scott and Alejandro in the Total Drama Machine are shown from left to right, grinning or glaring at the camera, holding up an imaginary case of the million-dollar prize money in their hands. Chris Mclean is shown next, arms crossed as the chair he is sitting in spins to meet the camera, zooming out to show it is the monitor room for the Total Drama show.

A dark shadow appears above them, scrawny in appearance and hair felling over the left eye as it glares darkly at the screen.

(Until you find the answer you're looking for)

The camera then shows Aelita with the new Lyoko Warriors, the TD Lyoko Warriors and William sitting around a campfire, all of them staring up into the starry night sky, a picture of her friends and father resting in Aelita's hands.

(I'll challenge all my limits)

Aelita in her Lyoko form with her wings sprouting from her back is shown, clutching Mr. Puck in her hands as she seemingly falls back, her friends and parents in the background.

The camera moves down to show William kneeling down, clutching his sword in both hands. As this happens, the camera moves down, showing depictions of the TD Lyoko Warriors and other characters in the background.

The camera continues to move down to show Geoff pulling Bridgette into sharing a picture with LeShawna bring her face up over Bridgette's shoulder, the three of them in their Lyoko forms. While this happens, Harold, Lindsay, Beth, Trent, Katie and Sadie are shown in the background.

Below them is Gwen with her arms and legs curled around her with her cape swirling behind her like wings while Heather and Courtney are shown in the background glaring at each other followed by Sierra clutching Cody who looks distressed, Eva crossing her arms along with B and Beth both waving, the latter looking very shy. Behind Gwen appeared Dawn in her own Lyoko form in a meditative pose while upside down while facing Gwen with her eyes closed, her light robe contrasting with Gwen's cape with dark clothing, almost forming a yin-yang symbol.

Behind Dawn appears Scott, snickering evilly.

(Knowing this could be my only chance now)

DJ is shown last, seemingly falling back while holding his pet rabbit: Bunny in his hands with a happy smile. His teammates shown in the background starting with Duncan, Tyler, Justin and Alejandro ending with Chef Hatchet and Chris McClean.

He is followed by Mike and Zoey, both clutching their hands and smiling at each other as in background appears Brick, Jo, Lightning, Sam and Staci.

And lastly Cameron appears staring up at the others.

(To overcome this fate that has come over me)

The screen turns black and the Eye of XANA immediately flashes into existence, glowing red and shadowing the outline of a singular person with red glowing eyes.

(The ending of this story)

Aelita is shown, standing in a meadow now with the wind softly blowing through her hair.

(I will hold it close as I wonder so aimlessly)

She holds up a hand, gazing sadly up as the images of her friends and parents appear in the sky.

(Into this new world)

Her hand then becomes digital, transitioning to Lyoko.

((The game has only just begun))

She gazes up a little longer before she notices her new friends and allies standing with her and smiles before looking forward, seeing a tower in the distance.

(I can see it in your eyes)

Just as they are about to rush towards the tower, the camera angles up into the digital sky as the song reaches its end.

The scene then shifts to pictures of Aelita and her friends both old and new on a desktop as the title appears on last time:

CODE: TOTAL DRAMA REALITY

(No Pain No Game (From Btoom!) Ends)

Episode 4: New Year, New Season

She had been here before.

A city, looking exactly like the one she called home but…different in many ways.

The obvious difference being the large, obsidian castle in the center of the city.

She never liked it.

She didn't go near it.

She liked exploring elsewhere, seeing the many magnificent places and grand architecture that populated this city.

And seeing the one person who lived here.

Speaking of which, where was he?

A tap to her shoulder made her turn around only to see no one was there. "Huh?"

Another tap and she turned again. "What?"

"Who is-" A pair of arms wrapped around her. "GAH!"

She jumped and fell onto the ground, panting as she looked up to see…

"Got ya." The boy smiled down at her. "Took you by surprise, didn't I?"

"You know you did, you jerk." She snapped as she stood up, a pouting glare on her face. "What are you doing, sneaking up on me like that?"

"I have to keep you on your toes." He grinned. "You never know what might be lurking around the corner."

"You're the only one who lives here." She retorted.

"Yes, but I am not just one person now, am I?" He snickered. "I still remember the look on your face when you got knocked down and-"

She grabbed both cheeks with her hands. "Don't go there!"

"Ow! Ow! Okay, okay!" He pulled back, rubbing her cheeks. "You didn't have do that. It wasn't that bad."

"Says you, jerk." She turned around, crossing her arms as she pouted but refused to look at him. "I can't even remember why I came here."

"Oh? Not even to check out this amazing big coliseum I found?" He asked with a cheeky grin.

She faltered but remained steadfast. 'Don't let him get to you. You're mad at him.'

"Which I happened to fill with every musical instrument that exists." He continued on.

She was shaking a bit now. 'No, no, no, no. You can do this. Don't give in-'

"And I so wanted to hear you play one of them, Maybe I sent set up some giant speakers so then it can be really loud-"

"Okay, okay!" She spun around with an excited smile. "Show me! Show me-"

Her eyes opened and she found herself sitting up on her bed, the light of the sun shining down on her which disturbed her.

That dream…

She hadn't had a dream like that before, but it was certainly more pleasant than most of the dreams she had. Was it just a dream or was it a memory that had managed to resurface?

She couldn't tell but…she liked to think it was a memory.

Maybe it was a sign she would begin to remember more soon.

AELITA POV

Two full years, two full years of a normal life. Jeremy and I dated, we kissed, we laughed, and we made new friends and kept the old ones. I never imagined ever returning to how my life must have been before I had become a part of Lyoko. Ulrich and Yumi finally got together, and surprisingly Sissy had lightened up before the school year ended. She had turned into a more respectable girl instead of a whiny, snotty daddy's girl.

She had started dating Herb, one of her former lackies. And now I hardly heard anything from them anymore except random chatter in the lunchroom, and that was months ago.

As we left the school behind, we discussed what we would see at the movie theatre when we reached it. Odd wanted to see The Transporter 3, Ulrich and Yumi wanted to see The Expendables, and Jeremy and I wanted to see Avatar (I know they all came out at different dates...but for any detail obsessed people: SCREW YOU, it's our story.). In the end we agreed on Avatar.

As we spent the next few hours watching it, we all felt that familiarity of the adventures we spent in Lyoko. Going into a pod and waking up in another place in an unfamiliar body. As the film began to draw to a close, I couldn't help but realize that I had been gripping Jeremy's hand in a death grip the entire time.

We left without much discussion and missing most of our Euros from spending them on tickets and snacks.

As we waited for a streetlight to change to 'walk', I could have sworn I saw that symbol in place of the shape of a stick figure walking as it changed from an orange hand symbol. The symbol that I saw every day for months, on monsters that tried to kill me, on screens as XANA took them over, and in the eyes of our comrade William when he was possessed by XANA.

I didn't realize we had crossed the street until we had to take a turn to head back to Ulrich's house where we'd spend the rest of the night with his parents out, he had the house to himself so long as nothing broke.

Maybe that could take my mind off of that nightmare that refused to leave me be.

Oh, looks like she nearly saw me. I would have loved to see her react in the middle of that road. Maybe I should have just forgone the plan to wait and change signals, so a car ran her over, or maybe play with her by having Jeremy or one of her friends ran over. No, I'd wait, let her be on guard and then when she relaxed, I'd pop out of the shadows like a monster under the bed and she'd have that look of a child who knew that the unseen monster was real, no matter how much her parents told her otherwise.

I kept an eye on them for as long as I could. If I didn't mind being noticed I'd take control of a few military UAVs to keep an eye on them, but I didn't want them to notice me when they heard on the news that someone hacked into the military's network and stole several of their fighter craft. For now, I'd please myself by watching them in secrecy. Planning, creating, and evolving would be my course of action until they returned to school.

The countdown began, I mean that literally, I left a timer in sight of my digital avatar in the middle of many images and links at the moment but I still possessed far greater sight.

TWENTY DAYS, EIGHT HOURS, FOURTEEN MINUTES

21:08:14

As they vanished from sight, I retracted from the public network and watched my old home slowly regenerate into an even greater landscape than when I left it.

Perfect.

Lyoko was now back.

And so was its master.

"Be ready, children." He spoke, using his newly formed vocal cords as his lips curled into a smile. "I am coming for you."

21:08:13

"Let's get this over with. I'm freezing in here."

All he could feel beyond the pain was the cold hard steel he was lying on. His legs were awkwardly positioned, metallic arms covered his burnt ones while wire like implants were placed all over his body. A breathing tube attached to this chest to help him breath. On his head, he could feel implants being placed on his burnt head and ears, over his melted ear drums most likely.

"At this rate, I am going to need more hot chocolate and another sleeve blanket."

A metallic torso was placed over his body, leaving only his head.

"You sure you know what you're doing, Chef?"

He couldn't see the man shrug but hoped he actually knew what he was doing. He should be in a hospital but that wouldn't do for the host of Total Drama.

Not without signing a few papers.

"Well, as long as he can sign the release forms, we're golden."

The last thing he saw was a face plate being placed over him…and then he started to breathe.

The table tilted up, allowing the man in the machine to 'stand' upright.

"Al, can you hear me?" He turned to see the host wearing a black hooded robe, holding out some papers. "We're going to need you to sign some paperwork that legally absolves the show of your little…" Chris made some air-quotes. "Lava accident."

"Chris, the million dollars." He spoke through the voice filter. "Is it safe?"

"Uh yeah, it seems the million dollars fell into the volcano. It's gone." Chris answered with chirpy smile.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He yelled, now knowing that all he worked for was gone.

Chris just laughed. "Spaz."

"I was robbed." She said and turned away. "I deserve that money."

"You mean my money." The newbie got up and rushed her, grabbing the case.

They both struggled for the case of money, but Lightning suddenly stopped. "Heather, head's up! Behind you!"

Heather however, only laughed. "Do you expect me to-"

Lightning screamed and ran.

"-for your pathetic little diver-" Heather turned and saw a rocket flying right at her and screamed. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

The rocket crashed into the cockpit and exploded. Heather screamed as she was knocked back, slamming into the wall and falling to the ground. It didn't end there as the flames scorched her skin and burned her newly grown hair. She screamed in pain, rolling along the floor as the blimp angled downwards.

She looked up in time to see the blimp crash into the water…

"I'm innocent! I'm innocent!"

These words were ignored by the man passing the cell of the man known only as the Psycho Killer from the reality show, Total Drama. As he walked by another cell, the prisoner inside started making kissy faces at him which was also ignored.

"And crunchy cockroaches have a big advantage over the stink bugs!" The voice came from up ahead.

"Shut up, McLean!"

Inside the cell was none other than Chris McLean, host of the live action reality show Total Drama, clad in an orange jumpsuit while staring down at two bugs on the floor.

"Ooh! Lightning walks past Duncan, the heat is on! Yeah, look at that! That's what I'm talking about!" Chris cheered with an unhinged look on his face before he noticed Chef Hatchet at his glass door. "Well, well, well, look who came to visit me after a whole year."

Chef glared back. "Come on, you've finished your sentence for dumping toxic waste as well as letting a girl mutate."

"Whatever, I think I'll stay here." Chris pulled out a cashew net drawing of Chef's face. "Even Chef 2.0! I made it with a cashew."

Instead of replying back, Chef slid a folder through the door's slot.

Chris grabbed it, looking at it suspiciously. "What's this?"

"Your contract. The producers authorized another season." Chef smiled. "So you're in-"

"On light again!" Chris cut him off with a big smirk.

(I Wanna Be Famous Starts)

Cameras pop out from trees and the ground surrounding the studio complex where the new season is taking place.

(Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,)

The door opens, revealing Chris Mclean who smiles and gestures as the camera moves past him.

(You guys are on my mind.)

The pods are shown with the cast stepping in, placing the visors over their heads and there is a flash of light.

(You asked me what I wanted to be)

A digital landscape is shown, first showing Lightning and Jo underwater, fighting over a treasure chest that opens up to reveal Cameron inside.

Above the water, Owen and Scotty are shown swimming for their lives from a gigantic eel.

The scene suddenly changes, becoming a battle ground with Izzy driving a tank, chasing Justin and Brick who are screaming.

(and now I think the answer is plain to see,)

The scene then turns into space, with Cody and Noah sitting in the cockpits of space fighter jets. The two are followed by two more space fighter jets with B in one and Sam in the other, the latter laughing as if he was having the time of his life.

(I wanna be famous.)

They fly over a planet that suddenly explodes and out comes a screaming Dawn and Beth.

(I wanna live close to the sun,)

LeShawna and Heather are shown fighting with glowing swords resembling lightsabers, LeShawna easily taking Heather down.

(Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,)

Harold is shown meditating in a dojo before what looks like a Poke-Ball hits him in the face, knocking him.

(Everything to prove, nothing in my way)

The perpetrator is revealed to be Duncan who is standing next to Gwen who is dressed as a wizard in a blue robe with a pointed hat while holding a staff who shakes her head and turns around to see Courtney aiming a ray gun at her, both her and Duncan ducking as Courtney starts shooting with a mad look on her face.

(I'll get there one day.)

Bridgette and Geoff are then shown on a surfboard, riding down a river of…lava and being attacked by a lava monster that throws a flaming rock at them.

(Cause, I wanna be famous!)

Noah is then shown nervously holding boxing gloves as he faces down Eva who punches him but is then attacked by a feral Ezekiel.

(Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!)

Tyler is then shown in a sports themed digital challenge, playing baseball and ends up getting hit in the face by the ball. Followed by this, Lindsay is shown in the camera room like before on Total Drama Action, pushing button that causes an explosion and DJ is shown running for his life from giant mutated animals.

(I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous)

Katie and Sadie are shown next in VR pod room, trying to figure out how to hook the Total Drama Machine to a pod that then explodes.

(Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background))

And Cody is shown hiding in his pod with Sierra hugging it tightly.

(I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous)

The opening sequence ends in the main room where Zoey and Mike are about to kiss but as the contestants gather with Chris and Chef shown, all of them smiling or scowling at the camera as the song ends.

(Whistling in tune)

(I Wanna Be Famous Ends)

THREE WEEKS LATER!

"What up, Total Drama fans? This is Sierra, number one blogger for Total Drama here to let you know that there is another season of Total Drama that is about to happen!" The purple haired mega-fan squealed. "This would be the third year of Total Drama's run. The series began with Total Drama Island starting on July 5th 2007 and ended eight weeks later, ending in early September. Then Total Drama special known as Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island happens at least two days after the conclusion of Total Drama Island and is then followed by Total Drama Action which lasted about six weeks. The special known Total Drama: Celebrity Manhunt begins a year later in early May and follows through with World Tour and ends in August. Then Season Four, Total Drama: Revenge of the Island starts at the beginning of September and ends in the same month.

"And now, this new season named Total Drama Reality is taking place a year later at the start of September 2009. Hope you are all as excited as me to be here and have another chance with my Cody-kins!" Sierra let out another squeal as she ended her blog.

It was supposed to be over but then it was never that easy with Chris. The second the man was out of jail, and he was already pitching a fifth season of Total Drama and was bringing back all of the contestants: both the first and second generations. Normally, many of them would have said no but the iron-clad contracts that met if a new season starts, the hosts were allowed to bring back any contestant they pleased.

No exceptions.

And that wasn't even accounting for Alejandro, Heather and Scott, all of whom were still suffering from terrible injuries. Alejandro was trampled by the cast and burned by lava during the season finale of World Tour and put in the body of that Total Drama Machine to 'heal'. However, with the extent of how badly he had been burned and injured it was unlikely he would ever fully recover. The Drama Machine was the only way he could move, let alone survive outside of a hospital bed.

Heather was confined to a wheelchair following her attempt to steal the million dollars during the last season of Total Drama. She survived the blimp crashing into the water after Chris sent interns to check the wreck. Heather had been found clinging to a piece of debris and she had been injured by Cameron's rocket crashing into the cockpit. Her hair had been burned away which left her bald again, her skin was riddled with scars, and she had been in a full body cast for several months.

Her right arm was still in a cast along with her right leg because her injuries from the crash were so severe it was almost believed she wouldn't make but she managed to pull through miraculously. Considering she had been hit and burned by a rocket blasting the cockpit she had been and then she crashed into a lake on a blimp, she should have died but managed to survive long enough to be rescued and taken to a hospital for treatment. She had to be placed in a full-body cast that lasted for nearly a year before she had healed enough but her right arm and leg still needed time to heal.

As for Scott, he had been nearly mauled to death by a mutant shark, his body busted up and possibly cracked in on itself while stuffed into the metal box with wheels that Chris got him. However, the box was so small some even thought he was literally just a head and spine kept alive but likely in agonizing pain with what left of his body being crushed inwards. His only way to communicate was two blinking lights: red for 'no' and green for 'yes' but because of his actions, most contestants, especially the ones from the Season 4 cast cared very little about what he might have to say. After Revenge of the Island had ended and Cameron had split the money he had won with his fellow contestants, Scott's parents had quickly tried to find any doctors who could help heal him of his wounds.

Unfortunately, any doctor with a possible procedure to restore Scott to at least an improved condition was too expensive, even with Scott's cut of the money. So, Scott was left in the Trauma Chair for months since the ending of Revenge of the Island and as soon as Chris was released, he found himself drafted back into the show with literally no say in the matter. It didn't even matter that the Trauma Chair was the only thing keeping him alive.

It was without saying that neither he nor Alejandro might last very long in this new season.

For most of them, it had been a good year after Season Four of Total Drama which ended in Chris being sent to prison for using Camp Wawanakwa as a dumping ground for toxic waste. That had been a source of great joy for the majority of contestants for the constant torture Chris had put them through. Why Chris is doing this, no one knew. Three of the contestants were in no condition to compete in another one of his shows.

For the next couple of hours there was nothing to do but sit and wait as Chef drove the bus down the road. Finally, they came upon the city.

"Welcome to our destination." Chris announced as he stood up.

"What's so special about this place?" LeShawna asked yawning.

"The location of where we will be competing in my new season is none other than Paris." Chris answered with a big smile.

Lindsay let out a squeal. "Paris?! We can go shopping!"

"Now I'm glad to be back!" Beth agreed.

"Yeah, don't count on it. Unless it's a challenge, you won't be allowed of the property until your eliminated." Chris replied, earning groans from Lindsay and Beth. "This one promises to have more action, laughs, and hilarious painful moments."

Everyone glared at him for that comment. After all the torture he put them through, just how much entertainment would he have before he was satisfied?

"Ah, Chris, not to interrupt your ego but in case you forgot some of us are not in any condition to be competing." Gwen said, raising her hand.

"Not to worry, we have a plan." Chris replied, shaking his head.

"Oh no." Gwen sighed. "He has a plan."

"Oh, relax, babe." Duncan reassured putting an arm around her shoulder.

Out of the corner of Gwen's eye she could see Courtney glaring at them. Gwen felt the familiar feeling of regret at what happened during World Tour despite the fact that Courtney had turned into a nutcase and tried to kill her.

"This season will be different since we got calls from several parents about endangering their kids' lives so we had to make a few changes."

"Like what? Adding some healthy food?" Heather asked.

"A place that is eco-friendly?" Dawn asked.

"Making the challenges less life threatening?" Cody asked hopefully.

"Allowing me to show off my mad skills?" Harold asked while doing a poor karate pose.

"Stop putting cameras in the bathroom?" LeShawna drawled.

"Nope." Came Chris's reply.

"Then what changes are you making?" Beth asked.

"You'll all see when we get there." Chris chuckled as he turned around.

"This is going to be fun." Gwen muttered.

Jeremy smiled as he was almost glad to be at school. A new year was about to start, and Jeremy was excited. He was excited to meet new people, have new classes, and see his old friends. He would see Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita.

And it was two years without having to worry about going to Lyoko to fight XANA. They destroyed him nearly two years ago.

"We're here." said Mr. Belpois.

"Bye, Mom, Dad, I'll send you guys an e-mail tonight." said Jeremy.

He ran out of the car before his parents could remind of something or say goodbye. He first saw the P.E. teacher Jim and remembered how many times he found the supercomputer only to not remember after a trip to the past and the time he fought off a horde of XANA's monsters. He looked at the usual bench and saw Odd and Aelita sitting on it.

"Hey, Jeremy!" shouted Odd.

"Hey, guys how was your summer?" asked Jeremy.

"Same old, same old. What about you?" Odd.

Yumi and Ulrich came up and Yumi gave him a little hug. "How was your vacation?"

"Good, but it's great to be back." said Jeremy.

"Mine was as boring as usual." said Ulrich.

They talked and talked like good friends they were.

Too bad their peaceful life was about to end.

Perfect. They were all back together. I had spent the last three weeks waiting for their summer vacation to end. I could have turned the city into my own personal playground, but I wanted to make sure they were there.

I had planned, studied, and made many preparations. In the meantime, I would have to send out the signal.
