"...What?" Izuku asked in shock, his eyes wide as his whole stance froze.
"Now, wait just a moment there, Principal Nedzu, I think-" Gran Torino began to say, but was interrupted by Nedzu.
"He's only expelled in the Hero Course. Which means you still get to go to UA, Young Midoriya." Nedzu smiled encouragingly.
A sudden wave of relief came over the boy, but still...he won't be a Hero...not anymore...
Aizawa looked at Midoriya, his expression a mixture of pity and stoicism.
"However," continued Nedzu, "You are to be transferred to either the Support, General, or Business and Management Courses. You can choose which one you're most suitable with, and continue your education there."
Midoriya stood there in silence...
"...So I'm not...going to be a Hero anymore? I'm...not going to see my friends?" Midoriya asked.
"...I'm sorry, Young Midoriya, but..." Nedzu looked down in what almost looked like regret, "...in this case, you now have to work alongside the Heroes...and as for seeing your friends...again, I am sorry, but it looks like you won't."
...Midoriya glanced down, his expression a mixture of hopelessness and defeat...
Hating to see him look so glum, Aizawa then spoke up, "Kid...I'm sorry..."
Gran Torino looked at the boy next to him, and couldn't help but feel the absolute and utmost grief for the boy. He was known as a rough and tough guy, but seeing the kid's spirit broken made him surely frown and concerned for the boy.
"...I understand," Midoriya nodded, a little numb, "I...I guess I can go with...either General or Business and Management..."
Nedzu, upon knowing All Might's secret, felt like he should do more for Midoriya. The boy wanted to be a Hero, and he wished he could help him achieve that...
...Hmm...maybe I still can...
"...I think those are wise choices, Young Midoriya," Nedzu told him. However, his head lowered down to think, deep in thought.
"...Thank you..." Midoriya glanced down, his eyes in a trance as his whole world came crashing down.
"Oh? Who are these people, Izuku?" Inko's voice came through as she walked up to them.
"Miss Midoriya," Torino turned to her, "I, um...I think you should come back another time."
"Huh? What happened?" Inko asked, now growing a little concerned. Once she saw her son's face and how defeated he looked, she started to really worry. "Izuku? Honey...wha-what's the matter?"
Nedzu remained silent while Aizawa spoke up, "I'm sorry to inform you, Miss Midoriya, but...your son isn't going to be in the Hero Course anymore."
Inko looked at the Class 1-A teacher with wide shocked eyes as she gasped, "Wh-...What?"
"Since he and Bakugou lost their Quirks, we can't let them in the Hero Course. That would be putting them too much at risk. We let your son transfer to another course of his choosing, so he's still in UA, but he won't be a Hero anymore," Aizawa explained.
...Looking at her son, Inko saw the hopelessness in his eyes...
That same hopelessness when she told him she was so sorry that he couldn't be a Hero...
"...No."
Aizawa and Torino looked at the woman, while Nedzu looked up at her. Izuku turned his head to his mother.
What they saw...was one pissed-off mom who was looking at the teacher and principal with anger and determination.
"...You're wrong," Inko firmly said.
...Aizawa and Torino blinked.
Nedzu remained calm...
Hmm...it seems Miss Midoriya has something to say about all of this.
Izuku's head perked up as he looked at his mother in shock.
"Um...with all due respect, Miss Midoriya, but the rules-" Aizawa began to say, but was interrupted by a fierce Inko.
"Well, screw the rules!"
Izuku and Torino jumped back at Inko's outburst. Even Aizawa looked taken aback. Nedzu just remained quiet, unmoving as he stood there.
"My son wanted to be a Hero ever since he was little, and...and although I was scared he would get himself hurt, he REALLY wanted to be a Hero! And I can't deny him of that! Ever since he got his Quirk, he tried so hard to master it, and it was from all of your help! Now you're just going to drop him like that!?" Inko exclaimed at them.
"Miss Midoriya, please, calm down," Aizawa decided to say, feeling like he should not only diffuse the situation, but her Quirk just in case she used it, "He's still going to go to UA, he's just-"
"Just what!?" insisted Inko, "Quirkless!? A liability!? Well, he's so much more than that! He's a great young man, who cares about people and wants to save them! He has the heart of a Hero, and he is someone you need at your school! And I'll be damned if I let my boy be miserable again thinking he wasn't good enough to be a Hero! You HEAR ME!?"
"Um, Miss, just hold on, that's not what I was going to-" Aizawa said as he raised his hands up to somehow calm her down, but was soon interrupted by another voice.
"Inko? What's going on?" said the voice of Mitsuki. Masaru was right behind her.
Izuku and even Torino now felt an urgency to leave the area once Mitsuki was involved in this conversation.
Oh no. Izuku.
Crap. If Miss Midoriya can go off, then I fear what Miss Bakugou would sound like. Torino.
Inko turned to Mitsuki, "Mitsuki, Masaru, UA is going to kick our sons out of the Hero Course!"
"WHAT!?" Mitsuki and Masaru exclaimed in shock.
"L-Look, all I'm just saying is-" Aizawa tried to diffuse the situation, but-
"BAKU-BRO! MIDORI-BRO!" said the voice of...Kirishima?
Izuku looked at the voice belonging to one of his classmates...and there were more coming through the lobby. They were the rest of his classmates, them being Ashido, Jirou, Kaminari, Uraraka, Iida, Asui, and Todoroki. But there was one last person that was behind all of them, as well as her parents...
Yaoyorozu...
Aizawa looked behind him and could only think of one thing:
Oh, shit, come on!
As soon as Kirishima and the gang came running up to the group, Kirishima went up to Midoriya and grabbed him by the shoulders, looking frantic. "Yo, Midori-Bro! I saw the news, man! I'm glad you're okay, but...i-is it true? About the Quirk thing and Baku-Bro being in a coma!?"
Midoriya looked at the redhead and could only frown and nod. "Yeah..."
Jirou spoke up, "Oh man. Dude, Midoriya, we're so...we're so sorry to hear that."
"Yeah," Kaminari nodded, "You and Bakugou didn't have to go through that."
Todoroki and Iida nodded, the grim looks on their faces saying it all. The latter said, "Yes. To think such Villainry would go that far."
Uraraka, while feeling horrible for Midoriya and even Bakugou, turned her attention to Nedzu, Aizawa, Inko, Mitsuki, and Masaru. Upon seeing Midoriya's mom and Bakugou's parents, she said to them, "Oh, um, are you Mrs. Midoriya and Mr. and Mrs. Bakugou?"
The three turned to Ochako, with Inko saying, "Um, yes, young lady, we are."
"Oh, okay...um..." she turned to Mitsuki and Masaru. She saw the news of Bakugou being in a coma and was trying to find the right words to say to them. "Uh, Mr. and Mrs. Bakugou, I'm...I'm so sorry to hear about...your son."
Mitsuki and Masaru looked at Ochako, the latter giving her a sad smile, while the former just looked on in dread with the feeling that she really might lose her son.
"Thank you, Miss..." Masaru asked for her name.
"Oh! Um, Uraraka Ochako!" Ochako announced herself.
Masaru nodded with the same smile, while Mitsuki softly said, "Yes, thank you..."
It was then the young Yaoyorozu finally came to Midoriya after Kirishima released his shoulders.
"Midoriya!" Yaoyorozu came up to him, her hair not in a pineapple ponytail as her long hair was down.
Izuku looked at Yaoyorozu and couldn't help but flush a little red seeing her hair down...she looked beautiful...
"Y-Yaoyorozu..." Midoriya said softly.
Yaoyorozu just looked at him for a moment...and rushed up and hugged him.
Midoriya's eyes widened as he froze in place from the hug.
Yaoyorozu whispered into his ear, "I'm so sorry this happened to you..."
...Izuku cautiously raised his arms up and hugged her back.
Mr. Yaoyorozu, as he and his wife came up to them, said to the boy, "You must be the boy that saved my daughter. Midoriya Izuku?"
Yaoyorozu let go of Izuku to let her father speak to him. Izuku looked up at her father and said, "Um, yes sir."
The man smiled and nodded back at the boy gratefully, "Then you have my utmost gratitude for rescuing my little girl, young man. Thank you so much, Midoriya."
"Yes. Thank you," said Mrs. Yaoyorozu, also smiling at the boy in appreciation, "We're forever eternally grateful for what you've done for our little Momo."
Yaoyorozu blushed a bit as her parents gave their thanks to Izuku.
Izuku looked at the two parents with a firm nod and said, "Thank you. I wasn't going to let anything happen to your daughter."
Blushing a bit more, Yaoyorozu turned her head away to shield her fluttered expression.
"Hm," Mr. Yaoyorozu nodded, his smile still in place, "You certainly are the real deal. A True Hero like All Might said."
Izuku couldn't help but smile softly at that. "Thank you."
Kirishima, meanwhile, stood on the side, letting out manly tears as he rubbed his eyes with his arms.
Aizawa then turned to Nedzu, looking down at the rodent man as he whispered, "Um, Sir, I think we should probably get going. I don't know if I can hold off angry parents and a good portion of my class right now."
"...Hmm..." Nedzu then puts a paw on his furry chin as he thinks.
Back with Izuku, his smile dissipated as he mumbled, "Although, I'm...well, me and Kacchan aren't going to be in the Hero Course anymore."
Yaoyorozu turned her head back to Izuku, her and her parents' expressions that of shock.
"What!?" She exclaimed.
Jirou, upon hearing what Izuku said, also exclaimed, "You're kicked out of the Hero Course!?"
"Huh!? What!?" Kaminari looked at Jirou and back at Izuku in shock.
"What? You aren't gonna be in the Hero Course anymore?" Tsuyu said with wide eyes full of surprise.
"What!? What is this nonsense!?" Iida shouted.
Ochako's and MIna's eyes went wide at this bombshell.
"Wait, what!?" Kirishima blinked in shock, "Whoa...that's...that's outright stupid!
Todoroki blinked dumbly at this information, "What...Who was the idiot who finalized that!?"
"It was their idea!" Inko said with fierce determination.
The kids turned to Aizawa and Nedzu, with Kirishima turning to their teacher and saying, "Dude, Aizawa-sensei, is this true!?"
"...Look, I..." Aizawa sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, "Listen everyone, UA can't just let someone in without a Quirk in the Hero Course! It would be too dangerous for that student, and-"
"Well, that fucking maniac was Quirkless and beat the ever-living shit out of my-" Mitsuki's face scrunched up and she wept, her hand covering her mouth as she choked up. Masaru comforted her.
"That's right! Who's to say that Joker man wouldn't do the same to Quirked folks!?" Inko said to Nedzu.
"You can't be serious, Aizawa-sensei!" Momo said to their teacher, "Izu-" she paused for just a millisecond, but kept going, "Izuku is what every Hero should strive for!"
"That's just dumb, kero," Tsuyu said point blank.
"I agree!" Iida nodded with a frown.
"You're not really going to let go of Midoriya because he doesn't have a Quirk anymore, are you?!" Todoroki yelled with fury in his tone.
"Yeah! Midoriya is the real deal, dude! And Bakugou is in a coma, man!" Kaminari exclaimed, frustrated over all of this.
"Yeah, ditto to what Kaminari said! And how can you also do that to Baku-Bro!?" Kirishima shouted at the teacher in anger.
Aizawa just looked at the group, feeling a headache coming on, as well as kind of feeling a little nervous at this very moment with the angry mob of people crowding him.
"Look, we don't make up these rules, these rules had been made way back around UA's conception!" he said, "I'm just following the procedure-"
"Then change these rules or something!" Mina shouted.
"Yeah! It's unfair to Midoriya and Bakugou!" Ochako exclaimed.
"This is all just bullshit!" Jirou shouted with anger.
"Excuse me, but I too think this to be outrageous!" Mr. Yaoyorozu said to Aizawa, "The boy saved my daughter's life and this is how you repay him!?"
"What would've happened if this maniac took our daughter's Quirk!?" Mrs. Yaoyorozu asked Aizawa fiercely, "Would you be willing to not have our Momo in the Hero Course!?"
Yaoyorozu was going to join in on yelling at her teacher, but she glanced at Izuku, who looked down at the floor...seemingly desolate.
Midoriya...no. Izuku...
She wanted nothing more than to comfort him...
Looking down at his hand, she thought about holding it...
...So she did.
She grasped at Izuku's hand.
He looked down at the hand that was holding his and looked up at Yaoyorozu, who was looking at him with such grief in her eyes.
They stared at each other for a while, seemingly telling the other about their pain and worry through eye contact.
With Izuku, he could only say through the sad look that he had on his face...
I'm so sorry...
The girl's heart could only ache for her crush as she gave him the most understanding and melancholic look that she could give him.
...She has to. She needs to comfort him.
And so, Yaoyorozu, with her hand holding Izuku's, dragged him somewhere away from the crowd and over near the area room where the restroom doors were in the hospital. No one was there, so they were alone. The hospital wasn't even full of sick people, since no one was supposed to be out of their homes except for government and healthcare offices, so this was a perfect spot for some privacy.
Izuku was against the wall, while Yaoyorozu stood in front of him...
...Wincing as she tried to say something, anything to comfort him, but it seemed nothing was coming out...
However, Izuku said something that surprised her.
"You're so beautiful..." he said with a mutter.
Her eyes widened and blushed at the compliment.
...She decided to go for it.
Yaoyorozu let her hands touch his face and her lips came closer to his…
It was a soft kiss. Nothing too forceful, it was full of meaning. A kiss of comfort. A kiss that can wash away any doubts and fears.
They held onto that kiss for a moment...
...They broke apart, Izuku looking at her with such admiration. Her long hair was down, framing her pretty face, as she looked at him with such sadness and concern.
They were both silent, Yaoyorozu's hands still on his face...
...Izuku then said, "Thank you..." he stared into her eyes, as she stared into his.
She nodded, "Of course..."
She softly let go of his face as she stood in front of him. They just kept gazing into each other's eyes...
At length, Izuku said, "I...I have to...I have to confess something..."
"Huh?" Yaoyorozu muttered, a little confused.
"...My Quirk...someone gave me it."
"...What?"
Wincing at the inevitable explanation, Izuku continued, "It was given to me...by All Might...I'm...I was supposed to be his successor."
The silence was loud...
"...The truth is...I was really born Quirkless...and the Quirk that I once had was given to me by All Might before the Entrance Exams of UA," Izuku frowned, his eyes narrowed as he felt the overwhelming loss of his own power being taken from him, "...I couldn't say anything about this because people would want that power from All Might...he gave it to me. I was chosen for it...but...now that All Might's Quirk is gone...as well as mine..."
They both let it sink in...
"...I guess...there's no reason to hide it anymore...I guess I'm just not fit to be a Hero...I guess I'm...not a Hero..."
Yaoyorozu just stared at the boy...completely floored.
"...I let everyone down. I let All Might down...but...I mostly let you down...Yaoyorozu," Izuku closed his eyes as he winced, ready for the rejection, the verbal lashing, waiting for whatever remark she was going to say...
...
"...Did what I say not go through to you?"
Izuku snapped his head up at Yaoyorozu in shock.
She was gazing at him...firm and serious...
"Listen to me, Izuku...whether you got your Quirk from someone, or whether your Quirk came in late, I don't care."
The boy's eyes widened.
"Izuku. I don't care how you got your Quirk. I would certainly believe our friends don't care how you got your Quirk, either. Because you are a shining example of what a Hero truly is. With and without a Quirk," she told him, her face full of conviction.
...Izuku was silent, looking at this beautiful girl he confessed his darkest secret to.
"...Have you forgotten what everyone else said about you? What All Might said about you? ...What I said about you?" Yaoyorozu asked him, her eyes now watering.
...Izuku kept quiet.
"...You...are, a True Hero," she told him straight out, her eyes leaking tears. "Never...ever forget that."
...He glanced down at the floor, completely stunned.
"...Izuku."
He looked up at Yaoyo-...he looked up at Momo...
"...Do you believe that?" she asked him, "Do you believe...Do you believe what you did for me back at my home was something a Hero would do? Even when Joker took everything, made me feel like dirt, made me feel worthless...do you believe that I wasn't grateful that you cared? That you spoke up for me? That you...you saved me?"
...
"...Y-...Yes...I...I did what any Hero would do," Izuku said, shedding a couple of tears.
"Then...do you believe to be that Hero?" she asked him.
"...I..." his face was lighting up gradually, tears still falling, but looked like he just found a new purpose, "...I do."
"..." Momo gave him a warm and tender smile, "Then you are."
Izuku gave Momo a small but meaningful smile.
She then reached for his hands and held onto them, both of her hands clasping his together.
They both stared at each other's tearful eyes...
"...Um, excuse me, but is everything okay over there?" said the scraggly voice of Torino.
The teens jumped in surprise and Momo let go of Izuku's hands.
"T-Torino?" Izuku looked around the corner and saw that Torino was waiting for them when they came out.
"Oh, sorry, Sonny. I didn't know you were having an intimate moment there with your...friend?" Torino said with a curiously raised eyebrow.
"...Um..." Izuku turned to Momo, who looked around the corner to see the older man as well. She blinked and looked at Izuku. "...Uh...I think we're...more than friends now...r-right...M-Momo?"
She gazed at the young man and smiled, "Yes...we are, Izuku."
"..." Izuku blinked in shock, "...Oh. Um...o-okay!"
Momo just giggled at Izuku's shocked expression.
Torino couldn't help but smile at Izuku and his new girlfriend Momo, "Well, congratulations then!"
"Oh? What's happening here?" said the voice of the approaching Recovery Girl.
"Oh! Chiyo! It looks like the kid here spilled the beans about All Might giving him his Quirk to Miss Yaoyorozu here and now they're a couple!" Torino explained to her.
...So Torino did hear everything. Izuku sweatdropped. Even Momo blinked in surprise at this realization.
"Oh my!" Chiyo said, a little surprised, her hand up to her mouth, "Well...I guess it was inevitable either way. I mean, telling people All Might gave Izuku here One for All," she turned to the two, "However, congratulations on you two! You look like a sweet couple," she smiled and nodded.
"Uh...heh, uh, thanks, Recovery Girl..." Izuku rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"One for All?" Momo blinked again, "Is that All Might's Quirk?"
"Well...kind of," Recovery Girl said, "It's a very long story, and I think now's not a good time to discuss it."
"Oh...well, thank you for congratulating us either way," Momo smiled, "And...I do care for Izuku. I don't care if he has a Quirk or not, he's definitely what a Hero should strive for."
Izuku turned his attention to Momo and smiled gratefully. "Thank you...Momo."
"Ah, young love," Recovery Girl said with a smile.
"Hmph. Yeah..." Torino glanced at Recovery Girl for a second, until she looked back at Torino, making him look away quickly with a blush on his face.
Seeing his reaction, the elderly Recovery Girl just smiled at the older man. She looked at Izuku, however, with a frown, and said to him, "I'm sorry though, Izuku...Bakugou is too injured to be healed. There's nothing I could do, especially since he's in a coma."
Frowning at that but understanding it, Izuku sighed, "It's okay...you tried your best."
"Hmm..." Chiyo glanced down at the floor somberly, "We can only hope and pray that he'll get through this."
"...Right," Izuku nodded.
Momo looked at her new boyfriend and couldn't help but sense some of his despair. She reached for his hand and gripped it. Izuku felt the warm touch and looked back at her.
"It's going to be okay, Izuku," Momo told him with a sweet smile.
Izuku felt her warmth from the smile and couldn't help but smile back. "Yeah..."
Aizawa was not having the best time right now.
Nedzu...was still quiet, calm as he kept thinking.
The Class 1-A teacher was getting verbal lashings from Inko, Mitsuki, Masuru, Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu, and the kids, whom Aizawa was trying his absolute best to simmer them all down.
This is not what I want to deal with right now. Aizawa thought, Damn, this is really annoying...I mean, I get it, but...ugh, I probably shouldn't have gone with Nedzu.
"Okay, look, I...we'll try to do something for Midoriya, but I don't know if it'll do any good!" Aizawa began to say, "Either way, he's still a student at UA, and he'll be treated as such!"
Inko came up to Aizawa, "You listen here, you unshaven, haphazard, hobo of a hack! My boy has gone through so much! He needs to stay at the Hero Course! I don't care if he doesn't have a Quirk, he is a strong young man, and I know he'll prevail!"
Aizawa's eye twitched at the insult, but he kept his cool, "Miss, I know you're upset, but-"
"No BUTS! DO IT OR I'LL...I'LL SUE THE SCHOOL FOR DISCRIMINATION!" Inko exclaimed.
...Aizawa knew that they needed to clear this up. Soon and fast.
Okay, this has turned from bad to worse. And why hasn't Nedzu said anything yet!?
"Ma'am, I'm not discriminating! I'm just following the rules, so just-" Aizawa tried to say but-
"YEAH, WELL, FUCK THE RULES!"
"Yeah! Atta girl, Inko!" Mitsuki exclaimed in pride.
Aizawa groaned, "Listen, it's not going to change anything! There's no way we can change the rules at this point! We just need for you all to understand-"
"Actually..."
Aizawa, Inko, Mitsuki, Masaru, Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu, and the kids all turned their attention to Nedzu.
"Huh?" Aizawa said, wondering what the principal was finally going to say.
"...Maybe there is a way to let Young Midoriya still be a Hero," Nedzu revealed.
"...What?" Aizawa blinked.
"Huh?" A portion of the kids uttered.
"Wh-What do you mean?" Inko asked, hopeful.
"First of all, my extreme sympathies to the Bakugou family on their son's unfortunate condition. We do not control the students' decisions and actions outside of the school walls. However, our school does not condone this kind of reckless behavior. Whatever this get-together was, it almost cost them not only one's life but both the loss of their Quirks. We are also responsible for looking after the well-being of any of our students as well, and while Young Bakugou will still be able to have an education at UA, he must undergo not only physical therapy but behavioral therapy as well. I can just only hope Young Bakugou will wake up from this," Nedzu stated.
Mitsuki and Masaru just stood there, the former looking like a mixture of despair and...maybe regret. Seeing her expression, Masaru put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"As for Young Midoriya...he is to attend UA on Monday, but I need to see him at my office first thing in the morning," Nedzu explained.
The kids glanced at each other in confusion.
"Wait...what are you going to let him do?" Todoroki asked the principal.
"That, Young Todoroki...is a private matter," Nedzu said mysteriously.
Aizawa blinked again, wondering what Nedzu had up his sleeve.
"Private matter?" Iida also wondered, "Pardon me for speaking out of turn, but what could you speak to Midoriya in private about?"
"Again, that, Young Iida...is private," Nedzu said, with a certain glint in his eye.
"Wait, really?" Kaminari said with a frown, disappointed, "Come on, give us a hint or something!"
"I'm sorry, but I cannot tell all of you everything. However, since," Nedzu paused for a second, "...All Might's Quirk is gone and so is Young Midoriya's, I think now would be a good time for Young Midoriya to tell you all the truth."
Inko, Mitsuki, and Masaru's eyes widened. The kids and Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu looked confused. Aizawa also looked puzzled.
"The truth?" Aizawa asked his superior.
"I will tell you that later, Eraserhead," said Nedzu, "In the meantime, do tell Young Midoriya to meet me at my office on Monday morning. And to be clear, he still won't be in the Hero Course, along with Young Bakugou. We will transfer them to whatever course they deem acceptable in their terms. However, other transfers are evident for other courses to fill in the two spaces for Class 1-A."
"Wait...are you saying..." Ochako furrowed her brows to understand the situation, "Are you saying someone from either course will fill in for Midoriya and Bakugou's spots in our class?"
"While Young Midoriya and Young Bakugou will replace whichever are in the courses they'll choose," Nedzu confirmed, "However, Young Bakugou's transfer will come into your class when he wakes up. The transfer that will replace Young Midoriya at the time will be decided around Monday morning when he comes into my office."
"Um..." Aizawa blinked again for the third time, "Okay..."
"Wait, but," Jirou spoke up, "You said there was a way for Midoriya to be a Hero. What do you mean by that?"
Nedzu smiled cryptically, "I think you'll be finding that out soon."
The kids just looked even more confused.
"In the meantime, children, you should all talk to your friend, Young Midoriya, about his...Quirk," Nedzu informed.
"His Quirk?" Tsuyu questioned, "But, his Quirk is gone."
"Yes, it is. But you may want to ask how his Quirk manifested into him," Nedzu puts it lightly.
The students all looked at each other in question.
"Well, I'll be off now," Nedzu announced, "Come with me, Eraserhead. I think you too should know about how Young Midoriya's Quirk came to be."
"Uh...alright then?" Aizawa said, a little puzzled, but followed Nedzu out of the hospital either way.
When they left, Izuku and Momo, along with Torino and Chiyo, came up to the group, with the former two holding hands.
"Hey, where are Principal Nedzu and Aizawa-Sensei going?" Izuku asked anyone.
They all turned around to face the two. Jirou and Kaminari first took notice of the hand-holding, which Kaminari announced, "Whoa, hey, are you two together now or something?"
Izuku and Momo both looked at their hands that were intertwined with theirs.
"Oh, uh...yeah, we...we are," Izuku said with a blush and a smile as he looked up at Momo.
"Yes...indeed," Momo said as she looked at Izuku with a warm smile and with a blush.
The kids all blinked...and each of them reacted differently, but positively. Jirou grinned big and proud at the two, while Kaminari and Kirishima shouted out cheers with a thumbs up, Tsuyu actually grinned as well, happy for them, Mina was squealing in happiness, and Iida and Todoroki both just gave them congratulating smiles and nodded, Iida giving them a thumbs up, and Ochako just looked at them...and couldn't help but smile in content too, happy for both of them.
Inko put her hands to her mouth in surprise and her eyes started watering, getting obviously emotional and happy for her boy. Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu both looked happy as well, the former smiling in approval, and the latter just putting her hands together in glee as she squealed also.
"Oh...m-my baby is growing up! Sniff...OH, I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU, SWEETHEART!" Inko said with a bawl.
Mitsuki and Masaru can't help but smile, at Izuku and Inko, who both came to her and patted Inko's shoulders in congratulations.
Izuku flushed even redder at his mother's emotional wailing. Momo just giggled at Izuku's embarrassment.
Then, Todoroki came up to them and said, "Hey, uh, Midoriya. Principal Nedzu said something about asking you how your Quirk...manifested?"
"Yeah," Tsuyu said, "He was being very cryptic about it."
"Huh?" Izuku turned his attention to his friends, "Principal Nedzu said that?"
"Yeah," said Kaminari, "What was that about?"
Izuku blinked and thought about what Nedzu was implying.
Wait...All Might said that everyone in UA probably knows his secret...I mean...maybe not his...Quirkless secret? But maybe...Principal Nedzu does?
"Um..." Izuku turned to Torino and Chiyo.
Torino nodded and said, "Nedzu knows. He knows about All Might giving...well, giving you the power."
Chiyo also nodded, "Yes. And I think now is a better time than any to tell some of your classmates about your Quirk."
"Oh..." Izuku looked back at the group, "Um..."
"Midori-Bro? What is this about your Quirk?" Kirishima said to him, also curious.
Izuku looked at everyone, from his friends to Momo's parents, and his mother, Mitsuki and Masaru. Inko just looked at him with a nod and a sweet and watery-eyed smile.
He turned to Momo, who looked at her boyfriend and gave him a comforting smile, telling him with it that he should let them all know...
...Izuku nodded at her with a soft smile. He turned to them all, to the ones that don't know.
"I...I may have a confession to make," Izuku says.
- The Bar at Kamino Ward -
2:20 PM
"Aaaand done!" Hacker said as he got out of Kurogiri's warping aura. The League, Shigaraki, and Joker's goons all looked at Hacker and the vial of the formula to bring back someone's Quirk in his right hand.
Joker looked at his henchman with glee as he had his feet propped up on the table sitting on a chair while he lounged. All Might, who was still near the TV screen, and Endeavor who was at the back corner all looked at Hacker as well. Eri was still in Magne's arms being comforted.
"Oh goody!" Joker said as he got his feet off the table and swung his legs off to stand up from his chair.
Kurogiri materialized back to his human-ish form and stood there next to the TV screen. Seeing that the red light was blinking next to it, meaning that All for One wanted to communicate, Kurogiri pressed the button for him to talk through the screen.
All for One spoke.
"Well. It seems your henchman did as he was told. I will give him credit for that."
"Aww, thanks, A.F.O.!" Hacker said with a left-hand salute.
"Hm...this formula better bring back One for All."
Joker walked up to Hacker and took the formula out of his robotic hand. "Oh no worries, no worries, Big O! I'll surely give that kid his Quirk back and let him bask in his denial that he's all that and a bag of chips again, and you get to do whatever you want with the brat!" he observed the vial for a moment, and couldn't help but grin. "Well done, Hacker!"
"Anytime, Boss," Hacker grinned as well with a thumbs up.
"Hmph. We'll see to it."
"Yes, yes. Which, I would think, you'll be keeping your end of the bargain on the whole talk show thing, right?" Joker asked.
"...Yes. Since you seemingly did what you were told to do, then I will return the favor."
"Excellent!" Joker grinned wide as he gripped the vial in his right hand, "Ho-hoooo! But I do want to let my boys take a stroll around the city so they can...paint the town red? Or moreover, go over to certain areas and enjoy the sights? All of it in secret, of course!"
The League Villains, Kurogiri, and Shigaraki all glanced in confusion at each other at the proposition. Even All Might looked confused.
Shigaraki spoke, a little puzzled, "Uh...you want to go outside and tour around?"
Joker chuckled sinisterly, "Oh come on, can't you feel the subtlety of what I'm trying to say? The boys are gonna sneak around in the city and plant bombs around places to throw off the Heroes and the police force from interrupting the program!"
All Might's eyes widened in horror.
"...Oh...well, okay," Shigaraki turned to the screen that All for One was communicating with. "What do you think, Sensei?"
"...Hmm...a very clever ruse, Joker. You're very set on this whole talk show, are you?"
"Why of course! I mean, I'm TV material! I'm all about show business, ya know?"
"...Right. Well, where will your henchmen plant these bombs as of right now?"
"Oh no, no, no, we're not going to do that now! I was more thinking about tomorrow night! Don't want to do it too early, if some schmuck wants to find these bombs and report the police about them!"
"...Hm...very wise, Joker."
"Oh thank you!" chuckled Joker. "Well, now that we got all of this formula business done, I think ol' Hacker and I, maybe, should make these bombs! In fact...how about we all make some bombs, boys and girl!?" he turned to his henchmen and Hare, "We'll make each a bomb and you'll decide which one to put it in! With me and Hacker here altogether, that'll make eleven bombs! Hahaha!"
"Eleven bombs?" Mr. Compress said, his eyes widened at that number.
"Whoa...talk about a domino effect," Spinner muttered.
"Yeah!" the Joker goons cheered.
"Ooooh, this will be sooo much fun!" Hare cooed, "It's like arts and crafts!"
"Oh, but we might need some materials!" Joker announced. He turned to Kurogiri, "Hey Kuro, buddy! Care to steal some supplies to make bombs with? I'll send in Hacker, Cham, Whip, and even Hare to go with ya! Haha!"
"...Fine," Kurogiri muttered.
"Fan-tastic!" Joker grinned as he turned to the screen that All for One was using, "You won't mind if we borrow ol' Kurogiri here, will you, Big O?"
"...That is fine."
"Great! Now, let me get my list here, and..." Joker reached into his purple suit and got out a piece of paper that was folded up. He unfolded it and gave it to Kurogiri, "Here ya go! Get as many of those as you can!"
Kurogiri read the list...and said, "These materials are enough to make a huge explosion."
"Exactly!" Joker said with a manic glint in his eyes.
"...Well, I guess we should be going then," Kurogiri drawls.
"Yeah! I'm ready!" Cham cheered as he got off his bar stool.
"Hell yeah! Let's get-a-stealin'!" Whip said.
"Haven't made an actual bomb in a good while," Hacker commented.
"Aww, thanks for including me, Mr. J!" Hare said dreamily.
"Yes, yes, you're welcome, Hare," Joker waved her off but kept a smirk on his face.
"Hm...follow me and step inside," Kurogiri told the four of them as he made a warp gate out of himself.
"Well, let's get at it, boys!" Hacker said.
"Ahem!"
"...And woman, I guess."
They all walked through the warp gate and disappeared, along with Kurogiri.
All for One made one last statement before cutting off.
"Well, Joker, I would think you have everything planned out."
"Oh, I'm just winging it, really," Joker smirked.
"...Hm...well, when your henchmen come back with the materials, Kurogiri will send them to the places you think they can plant these bombs."
"Oh yes! And believe me, I'll be able to pick out the most influential places there are," Joker's smirk turned into a grin.
"Yes...well, I must rest now. Good day everyone. And Joker?"
Joker just kept his evil grin, waiting on what All for One will have to say.
"...Make sure that formula works."
"Oh sure, sure! No need to worry about that! Trust me," Joker assured.
"...Good day, Joker."
And with that, the feed was cut off.
Joker then said, "Well! Who wants to watch the news!?"
The League Villains and Shigaraki glanced at each other again and they all shrugged, with Shigaraki saying, "Sure."
"Oh good! That would be fine too, right boys?"
The Joker goons all complied and shrugged in approval.
"Alrighty!" Joker turned to Twice. "Hey, Two Face! Turn on the telly, if you can!"
"Oh, uh, okay." "Yeah, sure."
And Twice turned on the TV that was hanging in the left corner where Endeavor was.
The news was on, and it was talking about Midoriya and Bakugou's status.
"There we go!" Joker then turned to All Might with a wicked smirk, "Feast your eyes on that, All Mighty Hack!"
Toshinori looked at the news in dread and saw the headlines.
"...Young Bakugou...is in a coma?" he quietly said to himself.
"Hmph. Guess the little punk is still going...well, brain-wise, I guess. The little bastard's just taking a nice nap," Joker chuckled sadistically.
All Might looked on at the news and couldn't help but think of one thing.
Young Midoriya...just...just hold on. Keep that Heroic Spirit alive. You may not have One for All now, but...you can still be that Hero you strive to be...just hold on, Young Midoriya...just...
Hold on and keep going.
Okay! So, maybe one more chapter until the talk show thing comes! I really want to get to the talk show, as that's where things get really exciting and moving. But right now, have this chapter instead! XP
But yeah, I hope you all enjoyed this little chapter nonetheless! Tell me how it is so far and give me a review, fave, and a follow! :)
Thank you all for reading and keep on rocking everybody! :D
