TWs: Waking up where you don't belong, implied amnesia. Stay safe :)

Luna shifted his body, grunting as he felt something prickly underneath him. It poked into his cheek uncomfortably. He slowly opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light shining down on him.

"Ugh... what happened?" He uttered, coming to his senses after a few moments. He noticed his hand before his face, moving it. He raised an eyebrow, seeing the green strands of... something. It looked familiar to him.

'It almost looks like the Earth's life... grass, I think it's called.' Luna thought.

Then, he quickly realized... he wasn't where he was supposed to be.

Pulling himself up, he yelped when he rose to his knees, falling back down.

'What the-!?' His eyes widened upon feeling the gravity weighing him down.

This wasn't the solar system.

Where was he!?

He tried again to prop himself on his knees, feeling a piercing sensation upon his- skin?

Luna gazed at his body, astonished to find his skin pale with sepia-colored patches. He flexed his hands and reached up to touch his neck, confirming it was indeed attached to him.

'What am I?' He blinked, feeling around his body, 'I have the same features as... earthlings.'

He froze at the thought before whipping his head around, gaze darting wildly.

He saw other figures lying on the grass, also unconscious. Turning his gaze, he saw a familiar head of blue and green locks.

"Dad...!" Luna moved forward, struggling on his hands and knees as he moved toward the sleeping figure. Reaching out, he pressed a hand to the other's shoulder, gently shaking him, "Earth- Dad! Please, you've got to wake up...!"

After a few minutes of trying to joggle him awake, Luna gave up, letting out a small whimper as he eyed the Celestial desperately. He analyzed every inch of his face, watching the other's chest rise and fall.

'Dad...' Luna blinked away the tears sprouting in his eyes. He wiped his foggy gaze, brow raising as he noticed a dark blue mark on Earth's lips, making an ugly stain against peach skin.

Luna was familiar with all of Earth's scars inside and out, yet he had never encountered such an unusual mark.

He slowly reached out, touching the corner of Earth's mouth with his thumb, gasping when he felt an electric shock course through it. He looked at said thumb, noticing a dark blue imprint staining the tip.

He frowned, his concern growing more.

"Ow... that hurt." A voice groaned, prompting Luna to turn.

"Mercury!" Luna shifted in his spot, crawling forward a few inches to greet his friend.

"Luna...?" Mercury swiped at his eyes, getting rid of his sleepiness as he slowly sat up, "What hap- woah, you look... different."

"You too- everyone does!" Luna gestured wildly to the other unconscious figures lying around.

"Uhm, where are we? What is this prickly stuff?" Mercury felt the ground, plucking at the green strands, "I've never seen anything like it before, have you?"

Luna bit his lip, averting his gaze, "I have... I also have a feeling I know where we are."

"Really? Where?"

"Uh- let's try to wake everyone else up first, then I'll explain..."

"Oh, okay- I'll get Sun and the other Rockies, you get the other half."

Luna nodded and stood up with a grunt. His legs trembled, unused to the solid ground. He extended his arms for balance, moving one foot backward while shifting the other to the side.

"That looks dangerous..." Mercury mumbled, eyeing the other in case he fell.

"It's the only way to get around." Luna frowned.

Mercury hummed, glancing at Luna's feet, observing. He decided to give it a try and slowly rose to his feet. Immediately, he tipped forward, crashing into Luna and sending them both to the ground.

"Woah-!"

"Agh!"

Luna froze, his body tense and face flushed as he lay underneath the other. Mercury scrambled to his hands and knees, peering at the other concerned, "O-Oh my Stars, I-I'm so sorry, Luna! I didn't mean to!"

Luna squeaked, feeling his heart race a thousand miles per second, "I-I-It's alright, M-Mercury..."

It took a long few minutes before they moved from their positions. Luna huffed, shifting his body before looking at Mercury.

"Uhm... can you get off me, please?"

"Oh! S-Sorry!" Mercury steadily pushed himself to the side, his body trembling, "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..."

"It's not that- you were just squishing me..." Luna sat up, dusting himself off as he slowly got to his feet, "How about you crawl while I, uh... walk?"

"Sure, that sounds good..." Mercury sighed, slinking on the ground toward Sun.

'Okay, if I know Earth's gravity, it should be pulling down towards his core... it just takes a little practice to get used to.' Luna thought, inching his way to the Gas Giants, his feet firmly planted on the ground, and his legs shaking slightly, 'Ugh, this is nothing like space...'

...

"So, where are we again?" Mars intercepted the awkward silence once every one, except Earth, was awake.

"And what are we, exactly?" Uranus flexed his fingers, staring at the pale white skin.

"This is cool...!" Neptune giggled, pinching his dark-colored skin, "It actually hurts...!"

Uranus stared at him incredulously before lightly slapping his hands apart, "Mate, stop doing that before you seriously injure yourself."

'Please let this be a dream...' Nine looked to the blue sky, praying to a being that didn't exist before glancing toward the others, 'Or some twisted, fucked up nightmare...'

"How did we even get here!?" Venus gestured to the brown gnarled trunks that reached high in the sky, limbs half-bare, "And what the heck are those!?"

"They're..." Jupiter took a good long look at the nature before them, gazing at the colorful leaves at its base. He raised a hand to his chin, muttering, "Now that can't be right..."

"What can't be right?" Saturn asked.

"They're trees," Jupiter spoke, "But as far as I know, they only grow on Earth."

"What?" Saturn's eyes widened.

"Are you implying what I think you're implying, mate?" Uranus questioned.

"But that's impossible! We can't be on Earth!" Mars yelled.

"No, Jupiter's right..." A meek voice uttered. Everyone turned to face Luna, "We are on Earth."

Everyone went quiet, the only noise being the wind rushing through the leaves, the colorful pieces of foliage scattering along with it.

A groan interrupted the tense silence as Earth's body began to move, his hand grasping his head.

"Earth!" Luna tripped over himself as he sped toward the other. He collapsed to his knees, hands moving to Earth's shoulders.

"Mmh... too loud." Earth uttered, slowly opening his eyes, squinting at the light shining down on him, "Ugh, too bright..."

Luna shifted, hovering over Earth to shade his vision, "E-Earth... can you hear me?"

"I can hear just fine, uh..." Earth blinked the haziness from his eyes, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion and his mouth pulled into a slight frown, "Stranger I don't know."

Luna's eyes widened as he let out a noise of surprise and bewilderment, "H-Huh...?"
