Opening 7 "Hajimatteiku Takamatteiku" by Sambomaster
Starts off with the introduction of Kawaki, who slowly turns around and menacingly raises out his right hand. As he does that, debris starts to levitate around the air as we zoom out to the destruction of Japan before the series title reveals itself.
As the song picks up, we see shots of a few U.A. Students, Boruto(who looks down before gazing up), Izuku(who looks at his scared right hand before gazing forward), Katsuki(who glares with one hand in pocket before un-tightening his right hand to do a mini-explosive), Sarada(who takes off her glasses and activates her Sharingan), Shoto(who looks upward and blows ice fog from his mouth), Mitsuki(who has a snake around his arm/gazes up while sitting on a tree). Next shows some of the Pro heroes(Naruto, All Might, Sasuke, Endeavor, and Shota).
We then cut to the League of Villains, Tomura (with gazes from his hand-mask) the Shins(both serious with their Sharingan's active), and Kurogiri(who opens a portal to his side), along with new recruits: Dabi, Nanashi, Himiko, and Shizuma. With all of them being in the shadow of All for One (who has his back turned in not revealing himself).
Next shows Kawaki in the outskirts and deserted area of Japan as a flock of crows fly nearby. We then move on to Boruto (who's Karma seal activates in his right palm before he closes it) and Izuku (who activates the bio-electricity of One for All around him), along with the rest of Class 1-A in their hero costumes as they all stand in battle positions with firm expressions.
Observing the ruined land of Japan from afar is none other than Kara the Husk, who all have dark black cloaks as the wind breezes through them. We then cut to Kawaki being in what appears to be a test tube and blows a few bubbles as the eye of Kara's leader open gazes over him. This is when the Kara reveals their full appearances, starting with Jigen(who lets down his hood), followed by Delta(who puts a finger under her chin), Boro(who glares under his hood), Amado(who adjusts his glasses), Code(who stretches out an arm), Oga(who smiles nonchalantly), Deepa(who grins evilly), Victor(who frowns with cane in hand), Zorvus(who smirks while looking ahead) and Koji(who smirks with arms crossed over chest). It next shows all members assembled in an alley, with Jigen taking the lead on a stair, with a hand on the side of his head.
As the song heats up, we cut to the destroyed ruins of Japan, showing the entirety of Class 1-A dashing at high speed to engage the members of Kara, splitting up into different fights: Boro fighting off Tenya, Shikadai, and Fumikage before delivering a punch to the dark shadow, a kick to Fumikage, another to Shikadai, and an uppercut to Tenya's chin, knocking his helmet and glasses off. Delta taking on the 1-A girls, mainly 5: She swiftly smacks Momo via electric whip, side-steps a purple aura fist from Sumire and elbows here on the side, then grabs Tsuyu by her frog tongue(the latter tried to restrain the android but failed) and violently throws her into Ochaco(who tried to use her quirk to get a touch in but failed), and then Sarada jumps to try to get a strike in, but ends up repelled by the electric whip and punched in the face, knocking her glasses off. We then switch to Code doing a flip-kick to knock the hardened Eijiro to the ground, dodging snake-strikes from Mitsuki and palms him in the gut before dodging an Ice wave from Shoto, including his fire, before closing the distance and punches him in the chest that sends him flying, he then dodged an explosion from Katsuki, who proceeds to take him on. It next shows Koji engaging in close combat with Boruto, who manages to keep up and avoid his inflamed fists before jumping out the away as Izuku lunges at Koji with a smash, who avoids it at the last minute.
When the smoke clears, the two boys look around and are shocked to see their classmates defeated and unconscious around the battlefield. This causes Izuku to widen/grit his teeth in anger with surging red lines through his body while Boruto yells out in a fit of rage, activating his Karma throughout the right side of his body.
Next shows them fighting the 4 Kara inners, attacking nonstop. A combined attack is launched by Koji and Delta, and as it was about to land, Kawaki jumps into the fray and absorbs the attack, grimacing and revealing his own Karma seal. Surprised by this entry, Katsuki also joins the three, with them having no intention of giving up even while battered.
With the four of them united, they combat against the 4 inners. During this, Kawaki uses a red blast from his Karma, Bakugo uses his gauntlets to form a blast in the same manner respectively, Izuku throws his right fist forward, creating a massive shockwave that's on the level of his mentor while Boruto comes in through the smoke in mid-air and uses a gigantic Rasengan as the final blow. All 4 attacks create a huge explosion in the ruins of Japan, with the large sphere being enough to reach outside of earth.
Last panels show the smoke clearing and them being the only ones left, they're exhausted from fighting and look up at the sunset as it shines down on them and a crow flows by the three, including Kawaki, their new ally, before the song closes.
Chapter 78: Invitation
Ryuken Facility:
After searching around and failing to find any signs of Kawaki, "I can't find him anywhere." Sarada said as the interns regroup.
"Same here." Shoto adds.
"Damn it!" Katsuki exclaims.
"Where did that jerk go?!" Boruto tightens a fist.
"He might have escaped outside." Mitsuki assumes.
"Darn... even with all of use combined, he still got through our defenses and left." Tenya said, a little surprised too.
"He even knew how to use the scientific quirks tools..." Shoto adds.
"Which wouldn't have happened if a certain nerd here hadn't told him what they worked on here!" Katsuki exclaims, eying Midoriya.
"B-But, I-" Izuku tries defending himself with hands up.
"Like how could you be so stupid, Deku?!" Katsuki continues ranting, "Feeding information to a villain, like that half-blonde bastard, was the dumbest thing you could have done!"
"Bakugo, that's enough!" Sarada gets in between them, "We're not blaming anything on anyone here, so relax!"
"Relax? Why the hell should I do that?!" The hothead argues.
"You clearly didn't listen to a thing that Miss Akira said before." Boruto chimes in, "That guy's body is embedded with Scientific Quirk Tools. So he knew how to use them regardless if we told him or not, so use your brain for crying out loud!"
"Use my brain? Who do you think you-!" Bakugo almost finishes until.
"That's enough that!" Manuel interrupts as he and Komago come in, along with Katasuke, "If we have time bicker, then we need to get to searching for that kid." He refers to Kawaki.
"That much we know." Shoto said.
"However, it not gonna be as easy as we think." Konohamaru said.
"What do you mean?" Tenya.
"It turns out that the League of Villains is involved in this." He reveals, stunning the interns completely.
"Not those guys?!" Boruto exclaims.
"The League?!" Izuku widens.
"The ones that attacked the USJ?!" Tenya too.
"Those scumbags, huh..." Katsuki sneers.
"What are they even doing around here?!" Sarada asks.
"By the time we showed up to stop that kid from escaping, that guy with the hand for a mask and the warp villain came in and took him away." Konohamaru explains.
"The way they suddenly appeared and talked... it was as if they knew what was going on." Manuel said, with a finger under his chin.
"Seriously?! What do they even want with him?" Izuku asks.
"That remains unclear..." Katasuke trails, "But according to what Komago and Manuel said, it seems they're the ones who let that young man out of his room to escape." He adds, surprising the interns more.
"We were under the impression that someone from Kara had broken him out... but none of us thought that the league would come in out of nowhere and do it." Shoto voices, "And why is that?"
"..." Mitsuki then theorizes, "My guess is that they were snooping around Konoha city's borders, around the same time as us, and witness that fight against the big guy from Kara." He adds, "That's when they saw the power of the "Vessel" and followed us back here to the lab, hence..."
"They broke him out." Boruto finishes in realization, "We need to find them A.S.A.P.!"
"Yeah." Komago agrees, "I'll notify the rest of your pro mentors for assistances."
"Right, the more help the better." Izuku nods.
Meanwhile, in the League of Villains bar:
After being teleported out, Kawaki sees that he's in a bar, while Tomura sits down on a bar chair with Kurogiri standing beside him.
"Where are we?" Kawaki asks in a glare.
"A bar where we can talk without any interruptions." Shigaraki replies.
"We have nothing to talk about here. Now drop me off somewhere and get lost." Kawaki demands.
"At least be grateful that we broke you out of that facility." Tomura said, "Or would you had rather them catch you and lock you back up?"
"Who even asked you guys for help? I was fending them off fine by my own." Kawaki argues.
"After Kurogiri released you from your cell, you were able to do all that... so quit complaining already." Tomura grumbles, "Besides, I assume you're trying your hardest to run away from this "Kara", correct?" He asks.
"..." The half-blonde grimaces as that got his attention, questioning, "What's in it for you? Better yet, how do you even know about that?"
"We saw your fight with the big guy in the mask at Konoha city's borders." Kurogiri reveals.
"It was a stunning sight when we saw the peak of your power, which you call "Karma"." Tomura states in addition, making the half-blonde perk in surprise.
"Huh? Exactly how much did you hear?" Kawaki demands to know.
"Every last detail."
"?!" The teen turns to the "sound-only" screen, a.k.a the league's Master.
"Tomura told me everything about your situation." The master voices, "Involving Scientific Quirk Tools., this Karma of yours, and most importantly, this 'Kara' orginzation that you're trying to get away from." He adds.
"..." Kawaki only grimaces at the speaking "sound-only" computer.
"The name of 'Kara' rings a bell... every now and then a few mention that name in the underworld. And the fact that you, my young fellow, is fleeing from them, confirms that they exist."
"Who are you through that thing? The boss of these two?" Kawaki asks, bluntly, "And where are you even going with this?"
"For the first question, yes, and for the seocnd, we'll tell you later, but for now, we're understanding the scenario." The master replies, "Curious... might I ask why they refer to you as "The Vessel"?"
"Hell if I know." The half-blonde scoffs, "It's just Jigen being the usual bastard he is, and nothing more."
"Jigen?" Tomura grumbles with a narrowed brow.
"Never heard of him..." Kurogiri trails.
"So he's the leader of this "Kara" I pressume? Interesting..." The master is intrigued, "Whatever plan he has in mind must be tremendous if he's calling you "The Vessel"."
"Enough. How does knowing this help you three? Like what's in it for you?" Kawaki asks, annoyed.
"Shigaraki." The master signals.
Tomura complies and stands up from his bar seat, which gets Kawaki on guard quickly, "Relax kid... think of this as us offering you protection."
"?" The half blonde perks in confusion.
"Whatever this Kara has that they're scheming is mostly likely something that we'll hate, just like what you're feeling right now." Tomura said, "And you clearly despise the heroes and see them as enemies that stand in your way... well they do the same with us."
"..." Kawaki only listens in grimace, easing his position, "Just get to the point already." He demands.
"..." Tomura gazes before proposing, "Will you join the League of Villains?"
"The league of villains you say?" The half-blonde narrows.
"Yes." He replies, "It's a title that our group goes by and we're enemies of the heroes from all over these parts, including the ones that were keeping you confined..." He takes out individual photos Izuku and Boruto, "I believe you know them."
"That freckled face and the Karma brat...!" Kawaki glares.
"That's right... other than crushing All Might, I am to kill these two as well..." Tomura continues, "I aim to destroy everything that I hate to the max... and we're in dire need of an increase in numbers to combat against the heroes..." He ends in final, "So that's all we're asking in return to helping you fight off those Kara individuals... what do you say?" He asks.
After several seconds of silence, "You asshole..." The half-blonde sneers.
"Huh?" The villain narrows.
"Is that the reason for recruiting me? Just because of some childish reason to destroy things for the sake of it? You disgust already." Kawaki glares, "You're no different from Kara, or even those meddlesome heroes."
"You may not like our goals, but we're trying to help you." Kurgoiri said, "Everything has a price in return. That's just how the real world works."
"Bunch of bullshit." Kawaki rebukes.
This is when Giran opens the door and walks into the room, getting the their attentions, "Oh? Am I interrupting something?" The broker asks.
"No... not at all." The warp villain replies.
Eying Kawaki, "Who is this kid? A new recruit to the League?"
"Well you see-" Before Tomura could finish, Kawaki uses his speed to get behind Giran in a shocking display, holding the old man's left arm behind his back and transforms his right hand to a wooden blade, holding the broker at throat-point.
"U-Uh...!" Giran stammers in shock, dropping his cigar from his mouth and not moving an inch in a freeze.
"This discussion is over, now drop me off somewhere purple-one, and make it someplace that's far away from here... NOW!" Kawaki demands of Kurogiri, increasing his grip on Giran, making the broker wince a bit.
"Let's calm down and not do anything rash." Kurogiri voices, "If we wanted to harm you, we would have done it awhile ago or even now."
"That's what the heroes said, and look what they tried to do." Kawaki isn't convinced.
"Why are you even comaparing us to them when they're our enemies?" Tomura asks, "Nowadays, there are idiots who can't understand the most simplest of things... all we're asking is for you to lend the league a hand and we help you fight off Kara."
"Shigaraki, was it? Give me a good reason on why I should trust you?" Kawaki asks bluntly.
"..." Tomura gazes, before answering, "It's all in your eyes... they're just like mine." He points out, confusing the boy, "They're filled with rage... hate... pain... and anger..." He lists off, "You're someone who also comes from a rough background and was forced to crawl from the gutter... being ignored and having no helping hand from anyone as they just walk by without a care... you and I have a lot in common then you think."
"..." Even with the broker still in his grasp, Kawaki thinks inwardly, recalling back some of his past: A burnt house, stumbling alone in an alleyway, and running into Jigen, who smirked menacingly and took him in. After he recalls that, "I'm on no one's side, but my own." He declares, "And you don't even know the first thing about me so quit your damn blabbering, you asshole!"
With that final statement refusal, he throws Giran into Kurogiri, making the warp villain stagger. And before Shigaraki could react, he gets struck in the left shoulder by two wooden shards thrown by Kawaki, "AGH!" Tomura grunts in pain, falling to the ground as he winces.
Using this opportunity of their distraction, Kawaki opens the door and slams it shut quickly, escaping the bar.
"Are you alright, Tomura Shigaraki?" Kurogiri asks.
"Ugh... that bastard...!" Tomura grunts with a sneer, "We're getting that brat back here."
The warp villlain complies, warping him and Tomura outside the bar's building, gazing around to find that Kawaki is nowhere to be seen, "He got away..." Kurogiri notes.
"Tch!" Tomura isn't pleased with this, tightening his fists before wincing in pain at the wooden shards being in his bleeding left shoulder.
On Kawaki's end, he manages to get far distance away from the league bar near an alleyway, "Serves those scumbags right." He scoffs, referring to the league, "They're crazy if they thought I'd join them... Amateurs." He then hears his stomach growling, "Forgot that I need something to eat..." He still feels some injuries on him during his fight with Gato, "Need to regenerate here." He heads off.
After a couple minutes, "Attention! Everyone that's heading to the city of Osaka, please board the train now."
The half-blonde hears the announcement after coming across the train station, "There's my ride." He voices inwardly, quickly pushing some people out the way and getting on the train to the next city.
Once he's inside, "Sigh..." He leans back against his seat in relief.
After the last passengers get on board, the train starts to move forward and on the the designated city, "This should get me far enough away..." He voices inwardly, "I can't let Jigen or those Kara assholes catch me... no matter the cost!" He swears as the train continues moving.
Ending 7 "Datte Atashi no Hiro" by LiSA
Opens up in the morning skies above Coruscant as it changes to shots of the training grounds, highways, and speeders flying through the air.
We then see Padawan Izuku leave his coordinates and happily running off to training, but ends up tripping/falling on his face, upon looking up, he sees fellow Padawan Boruto extending a hand to him with a grin, with Padawans Ochaco, Tenya, and Sumire being there too. Izuku smiles brightly as his blonde friend helps him up by hand.
Next shoots to Shoto in his coordinates, in a sitting position and as closes as he meditates near his opened window. After being done, he opens the door to see the MC's and his fellow padawans, which makes him crack a smile. As they walk in the hallways, they greet Sarada, who waves, and Mitsuki, who smiles casually, both Padawans as well. The group walk by the training grounds to see Katsuki cutting down a couple trees with his lightsaber in fury. When they call out in telling that it's time for training session with Jedi Master Aizawa, the hothead exclaims at them dramatically in not needing it.
This is when the sky goes dark/overcast and all Padawans look upward to see Kara Droids levitating above them, forcing the teens to get in battle positions, igniting their green Lightsabers with serious grimaces. We cut to the young Padawans taking on multiple Kara Droids: Uzumaki slicing one down by it's head and Midoriya slicing one in the middle. As it appears though they're surrounded, they receive backup from the rest of their fellow Padawans (Eijiro, Shikadai, Tsuyu, Iwabe, and everyone else in the class with their green lightsabers ignited). The MC's grin/smile with a nod before they continue the fight with increased numbers.
As the fight continues in the destroyed field, everyone starts to tire down, and another unit of Kara droids approach, the renegade Sith apprentice: Kawaki, ignites his red Lightsaber and uses force-lightning to electrocute half of them, surprising the teen Jedi's at his arrival. He grimaces at the Padawans, but decides to fight in lending a hand.
With this extra amount of strength from a new ally, the group stands united and perseveres in dealing with the rest of the Kara droids: Kawaki force-crushes two, Bakugo slashes one with a battle cry, Sarada and Mitsuki doing a combined slash, and Shoto force-pushing one into the other. With the droids dealt with, they face the last one, an enormous Kara Mega-Droid towering over them.
Despite how bruised, battered, and tired they are, the united front aren't ones to give up and the MC's charge before doing a Jedi high-jump in meeting the foe head-on. Everyone roots for the duo to finish this fight, including Bakugo(who grins) and Kawaki(who grimaces with wide eyes). Uzumaki's lightsaber changes to dark-blue while Midoriya's changes to light-blue, and with the final blow, they slash the enormous Mega-droid in half, defeating it and ending the battle.
It goes white as it was the pages read in a 1-A textbook before the song closes.
That's it for this one. A short chapter that's main focus was between Kawaki and Shigaraki. Enjoyed doing the dialogues between them, plus the attempted recruitment.
