Ike followed Zelda and her best friend, Pyra, upstairs, and all three of them now have their destination: Ike's bedroom. Pyra and Zelda sat down at the edge of the bed while Ike stood up. The Hylian princess kept on comforting the red-haired girl by giving her a hug sideways. The red-haired girl hugged the princess back and commented, "Zelda, I never expected that you came to see me..." Zelda hugged her tightly and replied, "I just want to know that you're safe." Ike watched as the two girls were wrapping their arms around each other while he stood up. Pyra looked back at the blue-haired young man and tears came down from her face. "Ike, may I confess to you?" The woman stammered while salty tears came down from her eyes. Ike nodded and told her, "Yeah, what is it?" While she had tears, her face was flushed. "Ike, I have a crush on you." The girl stuttered. After she told her revelation, Ike was shocked to discover that she had fallen in love with him. Zelda, on the other hand, wasn't shocked at all because Pyra told her Ike is the man she had fallen in love with. Zelda instantly remembered one time when her friend tried to give a love letter to him and explained, "I think you might remember that one time..."
Flashback
While training with the sandbag in Smashville, Zelda uses her enchanted magic to get more powerful during the actual battle. She was in the air and snapped her fingers to summon the phantom and it charged right at the sandbag. The sandbag was sent so far away, that it twinkled, resulting in a Star Ko. Pyra went up to her with a note card and squealed "Eeee, I can't wait to give my love letter to someone else!" Zelda was amazed by the revelation and screamed "Oh my gosh, I wonder who that is!" The two girls squealed and jumped around while hugging each other. "So, who is your crush? Tell me, tell me!" Zelda started to grow more eager. Pyra's face was the same color as her flame. "Well, he is tall..." Pyra explained while blushing and playing her pointy fingers. "He has blue eyes and hair and he is very stoic." Pyra kept on explaining. Zelda knew what she was talking about. "Oh my gosh, are you talking the handsome boy, Ike?!" exclaimed Zelda as her hands went to her face and bent down. Pyra's face got redder and answered "Ahhh, you are correct, Zelda!" The ladies squealed again and they said "Let's check out the attractive boy!"
After they went searching for Ike in Smashville, they finally discovered him. He was training with Cloud, his best friend. They were located in a forest in Smashville and there were bunch of trees and branches. The girls went up the closest tree and hid to avoid being seen. Ike was injured, but not a lot. He was on the floor, lying prone, trying to reach Ragnell, but Cloud put her foot on his head."Is that all you got?" Cloud questioned as he put his foot on the beorc's head. "I may be injured, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop!" Ike answered as he swung Ragnell and Cloud dodged it by doing a backflip. Meanwhile, the girls were on top of the tree, hiding themselves. "Are you sure this is going to process?" Pyra asked nervously. Zelda replied to her "I'm extremely positive. I spectate Link sometimes while he's training." However, a squirrel appeared upside down and the young ladies looked at it nervously. "Hey there, little squirrel. Would you please not block our sight?" Pyra asked nervously. "I'm trying to see my crush." However, the squirrel was very playful and got on to Pyra's head. Pyra screamed while Zelda tried to get the squirrel off. It was very happy that it wanted her to spend time with it. The tree was moving, much to the boys' concern. "I think the wind is blowing." Ike said while confused. "No, it's someone up there." Cloud replied. Pyra kept on screaming while her best friend, Zelda, tried get the squirrel off of her. Luckily, Zelda got the squirrel off, though Pyra fell off the tree. "Pyra!" Zelda screamed as she witnessed her best friend descending.
However, a miracle occurred when the red-haired Aegis felt muscular arms around her. She opened her eyes and noticed that Ike had caught her. "Are you okay?" Ike asked the Aegis as he looked down at her, carrying her in a princess fashion. The redhead started to blush and passed out. Zelda held the squirrel and went down from the tree using Farore's Wind. "Pyra is safe! Thank you, Ike!" She exclaimed happily. Ike nodded at her and looked down at the unconscious Aegis. "Would you mind if I followed you back to your place while carrying her?" Ike asked the princess. Zelda quickly responded, "Sure! Let's go to my place!" She used Farore's Wind and teleported, along with Ike. Cloud just stood there bewildered and wondered to himself, "I wonder what those girls are up to."
End of Flashback
Ike immediately remembered the story how two girls were spying on him and Cloud after Zelda explained to him. "Oh, right... I do actually remember." Pyra was on the bed, snuggling on his cape, and still naked. "Then you teleported to your room and I laid her down on your massive bed." He continued. Pyra was still scared and shook in fear. "Mm..." she whimpered and Zelda and Ike turned to her. Zelda comforted her and told her "What's the matter?" She whimpered more and put her hand on her head. "I'm h-having a lot of problems right n-now. It has gotten w-worse ever since I was nearly r-raped..." The redhead replied while tears came running down her cheeks.
Seeing her in a condition like this made Zelda's heart tear into pieces. Her best friend was in near rape and despite her crush came to save her skin, she's still mentally and emotionally traumatized from this atrocious situation. If it wasn't for Ike saving her skin, then who's aware of what's going to happen. Zelda kept on comforting and hugging her to keep her protected. Ike, on the other hand, decided to calm her down by leaning forward, putting his hands on her shoulders and told her "Stay calm, princess. I'm here for you and me and Zelda will protect your skin." Ike has an idea that came up in his mind and removed his hands from her shoulders . "Speaking of Zelda, how bout you stay with her and she'll keep you safe?" Ike said in a gentle tone. Pyra was confused initially, but Zelda agreed on Ike's decision. "Yeah, right now, I feel like you need a friend that can help you out with anything that you need. So why don't you stay at my place?" Zelda explained to her and then gave her a playful smirk. "You know, we'll have a ladies night out..." the Hylian smiled at her. Pyra felt safe after Zelda said those words to her. "T-thank you, Zelda." Pyra thanked her and hugged her and to the response, Zelda hugged her best friend back. The princess turned to the beorc and commented "Thanks for having me here..." Ike nodded in response and told her "You girls be safe." Zelda smiled at him and along with Pyra, she teleported to her castle with Farore's Wind. "Pyra, I wanted you to be protected..." Ike thought to himself while standing up and closing his eyes.
