Boobs.

Very large boobs were pressed up against her back.

"Guess who!"

"I don't know... Hana?" Miko asked, the breasts on her back were a good enough guess. Her eyes were covered, but she didn't need her eyes to recognize her best friend's boobs on her back from the feeling alone.

"You always get it right."

"I wonder why." Miko stated as she put her school shoes in her locker, and started to get her street shoes. She was going to visit Naruto after she went to Mrs. Donuts with Hana, since Hana really wanted to visit it. She knew that Naruto liked Mister Donuts, but she wondered if she should pick up a donut from Mrs. Donut for Naruto as well. She would be working a shift with him, and she really enjoyed working with him.

Whenever she was working with Naruto, she didn't need to be afraid of spirits, even the scary ones.

Whenever she wasn't working with Naruto, she was in a constant state of being jump-scared by spirits who would nearly cause her to pee herself. Sometimes, she DID pee herself a little from the scares to her body. She wanted to start carrying around spare panties, but it was humiliating to rummage through her bag, and somebody see her panties. She controlled her bladder the best that she could, and normally only the tiniest of tiny amounts leaked out.

"So, you're working with that big guy again today... are you two secretely dating?" Hana teased her, hopping to her side like a bunny as the two of them started their walk to the donut shop. She wanted the sweet gossip. "You know... since you two spend so much time together. It's like your always working for him these days." Hana pointed out with friendly jealousy in her tone of voice.

Miko didn't know what to say to that.

'Maybe I shouldn't get a donut for Naruto, wouldn't want Hana to get the wrong impression about him and make things weird.' Miko already had her mother approving of a possible relationship, and she didn't need to add Hana to the mix. Miko saw a head of blond hair pass by her, and she saw the girl Yuria that Naruto showed some interest in. A tiny girl her age who had red eyes, short and petite even among their age group.

The girl could see spirits.

She could see small weak spirits, and kind of scary average spirits, but was blind to the big and really scary spirits that existed. She really kind of wanted to invite her to talk to Naruto, before the girl got in way over her head with her exorcist stuff and picked a fight with something way out of her league. She wasn't really friends with Yuria, so she didn't know how she was going to invite the girl to meet with a total stranger.

"Earth to Miko... I swear, you're totally spacey lately, did you eat something bad?"

-Later-

'It's super cute Naruto today.' Miko noted when she entered his apartment with her key to it.

It was Naruto in his tiny child form.

That meant that he had his foxes going around the city and doing a lot of spiritual tasks at the moment. His clothes were way too big on him, making him seem even cuter than he normally would if he wore the clothes that fit him. The mature and goofy older Naruto was replaced by a mature and goofy kid version of him, which just added to his moe level by a factor of at least 4 times.

She wanted to cuddle his tiny body so bad.

It was still a grown man on the inside though.

"Something weighing on you?" Naruto didn't look at her when he asked.

"I was just wondering... the girl I told you about that can see spirits. Would you be cool with me bringing her here?" Miko asked as she sat down on Naruto's bed, and she took out some school books and her homework. She was going to finish her homework for the night, or as much of it as possible before Naruto got started on actually working. This was her part time job, and her school allowed them, but only for students with good grades who kept up with their work.

She didn't have the best grades in the school, but she was in a comfortable average spot, maybe even slightly above the average point. If her grades slipped too much, she wouldn't be allowed to attend her part time job anymore, and she was sure her mother would be mad at her.

"Hmmmmmm. I don't mind, but I can't offer her my protection like I did you." Naruto stated to Miko.

"You can't?"

"As a Kyuubi, I'm bound by my word. If I offer her my protection the same way I do you, then there could be a time when I'm forced to pick between you, and that would involve me breaking my word." Naruto had to remind her he wasn't a human. He was part human, but the largest part of him was still very much as inhuman as they came.

Miko wasn't well versed on yokai or spirits.

So she tilted her head in confusion.

"I'll literally get sick, and I might get so sick I die. I'm allowed to lie as a Kyuubi, but I'm not allowed to break a vow. I can only be summoned by a person I make a genuine vow with. If I lied and told you I would protect you, then if I didn't protect you, I would be fine... but because you can summon me, that means I gave a genuine vow, and thus I am bound to my word." Naruto explained to her.

His words took a few moments.

Then the weight of them actually hit her, when it struck her deep in the gut like a sucker punch. If he vowed to protect Yuria the same way he did her, then it was dangerous for him. It was very dangerous to his health and safety, because Yuria would summon him whenever she got the chance and saw a slightly strong spirit. If Yuria summoned him, and then she needed him and tried to summon him, it would involve him breaking his vow with one of them.

"Is there any protection you can offer her, that doesn't require a vow?" Miko wasn't friends with Yuria, but the girl was putting herself in danger by involving herself with spirits.

She couldn't just stand back and do nothing.

"Oh, there are a few things. I can give her an object that has my scent and power stored in it, that should scare most minor things away from her. I can have 1 of my tails possess her body, I'm not doing that one though." Naruto stated, since keeping his tails away from his body for super extended periods of time made him way too uncomfortable. A single tail wasn't a huge deal, since he could explain that he was just feeling good after getting a lot of sleep to people. Each tail did take some years off of his physical body after all.

"Or-"

"I could have sex with her, and that would mark her as my territory, and no spirit would dare try and touch her. That isn't an option though, because I only plan to have sex with women who I love dearly. I'm not a slut who just sleeps around." Naruto struck that as an option. Naruto showed off his fangs. "Finally, I could just bite her on the arm or something. Really dig my fangs into her. If I mark her as my future meal, chances are most spirits would avoid her."

"You eat people?!" Miko was stunned.

Naruto stared at her.

"Sorry, imagination went a little wild." Miko realized who she was talking to. Naruto didn't mean that he would eat Yuria, just that he would mark her as a meal so that others wouldn't go after her. "Wait... if you could mark somebody as a meal, why didn't you do that to me?" Miko would really like it if the spirits around her would just leave her alone.

Naruto took a police baton on his bed, brought it to his mouth.

*Crunch*

Naruto showed that his teeth sank and destroyed the wood, even in his 6 year old body, he was more than capable of biting right through a wooden baton as if it were a stick of pocky.

"Answer your question?" Naruto asked her.

She did NOT want him to chomp down on her arm with fangs that could tear through stuff like that. He could break her bones with that amount of strength.

"Also, since you can summon me, I don't need to provide any other form of protection for you. You don't have any power of your own, but it sounds like this Yuria girl has her own power she can use. If I give her a tiny bit of my power, she could use it as if it's her own." Naruto still needed to examine the girl in person to see if he wanted to even give her that much. If she was an irresponsible person, there was a high chance she would use up all the power he gave her, and in the process leave herself vulnerable to being attacked by something much worse than what she could deal with. "So, I can meet with her and decide what to do."

"-and my friend Hana?" Miko asked.

Naruto looked confused.

"What about her, you never asked me to protect her." Naruto pointed out, and Miko blushed. She had forgotten to mention that she wanted Naruto to protect Hana as well. She had just kind of assumed that she had remembered to tell him she would like it if he protected Hana in some way. Naruto scratched the back of his head and tried to think. "... you're really asking a lot of me here. This is why I vowed to protect you, because I figured you were this kind of person." Naruto pointed out.

He had been right about her.

"This kind of person... should I be offended?" Miko didn't like the way he said that.

"You're a good person who can't mind her own business. You have an irresponsible urge to help others, even if it means putting yourself in danger. You're filled with fear, and brave enough to stick your neck out anyway... you're just like me in that way. You can't stop yourself from helping a person you see that needs help." Naruto sighed. He couldn't even be angry at her, not when that would make him a giant hypocrite. He had stuck his neck out for Miko when she was a stranger, and he had absolutely no obligation to do anything for her.

"I'm sorry." Miko whispered.

Naruto didn't want her to apologize.

"As long as you never forget you're powerless, it's fine if you rely on me when you can." Naruto hopped out of his chair.

Miko smiled.

"So small and adorable." Miko whispered, but Naruto heard her, and his eye twitched. He had always been a runty kid, but she did call him adorable, so he allowed the small part to slide. She seemed to really like his tiny form. "Why are you tiny like that, by the way?" Miko asked Naruto.

He scratched his neck.

"A client wants me to investigate the women's side of the public bath. I can't exactly go in there as a grown man, but if I'm a little kid, I can go in and see if I can't find the hidden camera that's been used to take these pictures." Naruto grabbed some pictures on his desk that he printed out, and he tossed it them onto the bed.

The faces on the women were blurred out, but their naked bodies were on full display. Miko was shocked to see the pictures, and she recognized one of the bodies as her friend Hana's mother. Her friends mother had been caught on camera, and her nudes were being displayed on the internet, blurred out face or not.

Actually, not only her friend's mother, but there were quite a few of her own classmates who had been captured by the peeping camera.

"That is horrible!"

"I told you, this kind of stuff happens all the time. You dig deep enough into the internet, and you will find this kind of stuff there for sale, for free. The problem is... these pictures aren't from just 1 angle. They are from multiple angles. The woman taking these pictures-"

"Woman!?"

"Yeah, these pictures aren't being taken from a hidden camera in a wall, ceiling, or floor. I already investigated the bath earlier today while you were at school, and I couldn't find any hidden cameras. That means these photos are being taken by a person holding the camera. Notice how none of these pictures have mirrors in them, the person taking the photos doesn't want to be seen... and this photo here... could have only been taken from the middle of the room. They walked into the bath with the camera." Naruto explained as he showed a picture of a group of women with their blurred out faces. "It was taken from... about this height." Naruto held his hand up to 6 inches above his head.

"You can tell all of that from this photo?" Miko was amazed, she would have never guessed that. "How?"

"Positioning, the other women's breasts are about in the center of the picture. Also, I can see the distance between the women in the picture, and the wall behind them, and using that I can guess how far away the camera is from the women by counting the tiles on the floor before they tiles go out of view." Naruto pointed to the women's feet, and the tiles that led up to the camera's out of frame part of the picture.

"Cool."

"That means, 1. This photo was taken by a person who is allowed to be in the women's bath. 2. This photo was taken by somebody with plenty of experience doing this, since she never accidentally takes a photo of herself in a mirror. 3. These photos are uploaded at this same public bath, about once a week. She uploads about 30 pictures, and she blurs out all the faces. That means she uses photoshop... so... within the next few days, she'll be collecting more photos to post, since she posted these pictures 2 days ago." Naruto explained why he wanted to visit the public bath as a kid.

If he entered the women's side as a kid, it would be easy for him to track down the woman who was responsible for taking and spreading these photos on the internet. His client was the owner of the bath house and his wife, and the two were extremely frustrated that this was happening at all.

"You were able to deduce all of that just from these photos?"

"Oh trust me, I had a LOT of evidence to work with..." Naruto opened his computer up, and he showed Miko that HUNDREDS of photos had been uploaded to the side the pervert used to expose them.

Miko felt uncomfortable.

"... It feels a little wrong for you to look at these... I mean... doesn't it?" Miko asked, since Naruto was a boy who was looking at tons of women naked without their consent. She shook her head and got that line of thought out of her mind.

He HAD to do it for his job.

The photos were evidence that he needed to use to find and put a stop to the person who was doing this horrible crime. Naruto didn't diginify her question with a response, because he could see that she came to the same conclusion that he was about to give her.

"This doesn't feel supernatural... This kind of just feels..." Miko didn't know how to explain it.

"Well yeah, most of my work doesn't involve the supernatural. I talk to spirits who can help me do my job, but about 90% of the work I do doesn't involve spirits at all. Just yesterday while you were at school, I went and investigated a break in at a candy store." Naruto wasn't a supernatural detective, he was a detective who was supernatural.

There was a difference.

A supernatural detective was a detective who worked on supernatural cases.

Naruto was a supernatural that was a detective, meaning did normal detective work, but used his supernatural abilities to make his work easier. He investigated humans and human problems, though sometimes he did dabble in the supernatural line of work, but that wasn't detective work. Usually that was just charity on his part, and normally just to soothe a restless soul that couldn't pass on.

"Okay, so when do we go to the bath?"

"We?" Naruto asked her.

"Of course, I work for you, and you need somebody to take you into the women's bath right? If I can help the victims and prevent stuff from happening, I would be proud to do my job to help." Miko was smiling brightly, since she would love to make herself useful. This was a real problem that she knew she could help with, and didn't just have to sit back and let Naruto do all the work while she watched. It also wasn't just dropping off paperwork to the police or running errands for Naruto.

She could make a real difference.

Naruto opened his mouth slowly.

"Ah..." Naruto closed his mouth.

He was about to tell her that since the owners knew that a "little boy with whisker marks" was suppose to investigate the women's side so he didn't need her help to get into the women's side, but he could see that she was motivated and very excited to do some good for others. It was hard for him to tell her that he wasn't going to need her help, and that he just wanted her to keep an eye on his emails and do her homework in peace at his apartment.

Her eyes were sparkling.

She really wanted to feel like a real detective by helping to solve a case.

Her forgot, that when Miko wasn't scared shitless of spirits, she was a very "go with the flow" and "wow, this sounds cool" kind of girl. The idea of helping in solving a mystery must really appeal to her, and with his current child body, he was pretty sure that she wasn't thinking about the fact he was a grown man on the inside.

He didn't want to let her down.

"We go once you finish your homework. These photos are extremely high quality, meaning the person bought a very small, but very powerful hidden camera. That means they have a good, high paying job... so they most likely get off of work after 6 PM, and taking a meal into consideration... I'll bet they don't get into the bath until... maybe 6:45 PM at the earliest." Naruto was able to guess that.

It was a hunch, and he could be wrong.

"I can't wait to find them tonight."

"Woah now, they might not even go tonight. Chances are, they should show up within the next few days. This stuff isn't like clockwork, criminals have lives too. For all we know, she has an appointment tonight and can't peep on schedule." Naruto reminded her.

The criminals he normally dealt with weren't some hyper fixated people who had to follow an exact schedule that could be relied on, they were just normal people who happened to break the law. That meant there was some room for bad timing.

Miko nodded her head.

Still, she hoped she could be the one who caught the criminal!
