With a loud cry as stars danced across her vision, Astrid's head fell back onto the pillow of the bed. Pleasure overtook all her senses and it was several moments before she could speak again. And even then, she had yet to regain her breath fully.
A hand cradled her cheek as if she were made of fine china.
She lifted her head, leaning into the hand and blinking away stars to look at him laying prone with his head just above her thighs. "Wow. Feeling bold today, Haddock? That was amazing…"
"I aim to please," he winked, smirking a little. "And I learned from the best."
"Aw, thanks babe!" she chirped, then she brought her voice back to its normal pitch. "I always knew I was the best. Now you do too."
"Astrid, I've known that since before I went through puberty. You didn't forget I had a crush on you, did you?"
"I don't think anyone could forget that. Not with all the staring, lover boy," she replied, then laughed when he blushed. "Now, no more talking. Come up here," she told him, tugging demandingly on his arm.
So he did, letting himself be directed to her lips for a kiss. A mere peck before he pulled away.
"Move in with me?" He asked, then sought out her lips once more, not bothering to hear her answer.
But she gave it anyway.
"Yes please," she sighed, against his lips.
"Thank you, milady," he said, kissing her cheek after a brief pause. "That means a lot to me."
"It does?"
"Yep," he moved to sit cross-legged by her feet. "Time for another story I think. Up for it?"
"Lay it on me."
Eyes filling with mirth, Hiccup got on all fours, approaching to lay on her stomach, but supporting himself with his arms at the same time. "Better?"
She snorted. "You dork. Don't make a habit of that, babe."
"I agree to nothing. So anyway, about this trip down memory lane of mine…"
…
"Hiccup, no. I'm sorry. I won't move in with you."
"Why not?"
"I'm going back to Bog to visit my family."
"What's the issue then? We can move in after you come back."
Cami sighed, face stricken. "I'm not coming back, Hiccup."
"What? B-but why?"
"I'm feeling homesick, that's why. And uh… My mum doesn't know we're dating. It would be awkward…"
"So this is it then? we're breaking up?"
Cami smirked. "No reason we can't have some fun before I go, right?"
It was Hiccup's turn to sigh. "Can't. Dad wants to have a graduation party at my uncle's place, and I'll be sleeping over there."
"Oh… Well, this is goodbye I guess…"
Hiccup simply nodded before they both turned and headed in different directions, albeit with glances directed back at each other.
…
"Is that when Cami…"
"Yep. Funny how life works isn't it? If it wasn't for my Dad's stupid graduation party, I could have stopped her from stealing that photo of my mother. There's some irony in how he blamed me for that, it turns out."
"Looks like it. And we probably wouldn't be together either, had Cami not stolen that picture," Astrid pointed out.
He levered himself up on his arms to look at her with a smile. "Well, that is a plus, but it wasn't fun to get to this point."
Her hand wove into his silky hair. "Well, I know what is fun. Care to join me again?"
"What's fun? Cooking?"
"No, I meant-"
"Hiking around Berk?"
"No-"
"Going shopping? What, babe?"
"Hiccup. I meant sex."
He flicked her nose, laughing. "I was messing with you. I knew from the start. Apparently I was good enough of an actor that you couldn't tell the difference."
Her eyes narrowed at him with mock seriousness. "Oi, watch it mister-"
She cut off with a gasp Hiccup pressed his lips to hers, working to quickly render her mind blank with a snap of his hips to hers before stopping.
"You were saying?"
"Gods, Hiccup, if you can do that, why would I stay away? I'm moving in with you."
"That's where your mind went? Seriously? Buzzkill…"
"But I have a condition: you talk to your dad, then I'll move in with you."
Hiccup sighed and sat up. "Did you have to bring that up now?"
"Yes. Otherwise you'd ignore the elephant in the room."
"You know me so well," Hiccup chuckled humourlessly. "We're perfect together, aren't we?"
"Maybe so, babe," Astrid shrugged and he chuckled half-heartedly at his previous words, only to sigh again. "How soon do I need to reconcile?"
"I didn't say reconcile. I said talk. Given what you've told me, I don't think you two can make up. I just want you to try. As for when to start? How about in an hour? You're not leaving this room any sooner than that."
"I think I can get behind that."
Smirking, Astrid rolled over and leaned back, pressing her ass to his groin. Then, she glanced at him over her shoulder with a cheeky grin.
"Want to start now?"
He grabbed her hips and rocked his own, dragging his semi against her rear for them both to sigh pleasantly as a result.
"Definitely, milady."
"Good."
