Chapter Eleven

"All right everyone, settle down," Sailor Pluto ordered, the tall, green-black haired beauty noting several newcomers.

"Ahem," Priestess sighed. "We're doubling up with the Fantasy Heroines meeting, due to a booking error."

"Right," Pluto agreed, nodding to the women at the table, "Please, introduce yourselves."

"Er... hello," the girl in the while hoodie costume stammered, "I'm Shy."

"I can tell, dear. Public speaking gets better with time," Priestess said gently.

"No," she looked more embarassed, "My CODENAME is Shy!"

"I'm her girlfriend, Iko Koishikawa," the pretty girl waved.

"You don't have to put it so plainly," Shy blushed.

"I'm Spirits, I'm escorting these dummies," the pretty Russian heroine noted, who was a slightly older woman. Alas, any 'cool big sis' vibes that she had were lost when she chugged alcohol from her hip flask.

"Do you ALWAYS drink that much?" Pluto had to ask.

"Yes," Spirits shrugged.

"Ah," Priestess sighed.

"I'm Princess Anisphia Wynn Palettia, but please just call me Anis," the excited blonde smiled.

"Lady Euphyllia Magenta," the other woman bowed, "her wife. Please call me Euphie."

"Ilia Coral, their maid," the redhead woman nodded.

"Lainie Cyan, Maid," the other woman blushed, "and vampire."

"VAMPIRE?" Priestess blinked.

"She has it under control," Anis added fast.

"Besides, she sucks me as needed," Ilia deadpanned.

"Don't say it like that!" Lainie blushed.

Pluto coughed. "Are there any others coming?" she checked.

"Sorry! Sorry, I was at work," the redhead hurried in, two other women following her in.

"Mai," the other black haired woman sighed.

"Hi," the third girl with a sword waved, "Shizuru told us about this place."

"Take a seat," Pluto nodded.

"Don't you work at Arisugawa's Locket?" Priestess asked Mai.

Mai looked sheepish, "Yeah, I'm a part timer..." She continued, "I'm Mai Tokhia, this is Natsuki Kuga and Mikoto Minagi."

"So, are you magical girls too?" Anis asked eagerly.

"Yes," Natsuki nodded, "Mai controls fire, I use ice and Mikoto has a magic sword."

"All right, we'll start the meeting," Sailor Pluto said briskly.

Priestess added thoughtfully, "So, we have superheroes, a princess and schoolgirls."

"All right," Pluto added briskly, "updates?"

"There's been more breaks between universes," Euphie noted. "And reincarnation isekai events," she added.

Priestess nodded, "I met several isekai recently too. Overlord was scary."

"There's a lot of superhero activity happening recently," Spirits pointed out.

"Like all the Marvel stuff," Iko Koishikawa mused.

"Don't bring that up, or Disney will sue us," Shy sighed.

"Please no breaking the fourth wall," Pluto added.

"Mai, these are weird people," Mikoto noted quietly to her.

"Hush, Mikoto," Mai sighed.

"Like we're ones to talk?" Natsuki pointed out.

"So what is the whole thing with HIME?" Aniz asked them curiously.

"Natsuki's been doing this longest," Mai gestured to her.

"Gee thinks," Natsuki rolled her eyes. She addressed the others, "The HIME are mostly based around Fuka, where monsters called Orphan's gather. We fight them to keep people from being harmed."

"Seems straight forward," Shy mused.

"Then there was the evil US corp that tried to take over," Mai added.

"THEN we found out we were supposed to fight each other to the death for ultimate power," Natsuki finished.

"WHAT," Spirits blinked.

"We refused to, obviously," Mai waved that off.

"Nagi and Mashiro were running it?" Sailor Pluto asked, frowning.

"You know them?" Mikoto blinked.

"Yes, I met them in an earlier run through," Pluto looked grim, "it went badly."

"Oh," Mai blinked.

"How old ARE you?" Natsuki asked Pluto, blinking.

Pluto drank her tea as she said flatly, "Old."

Everyone decided not to push THAT point.

Priestess addressed Aniz and Euphie and asked, "I heard there was a succession issue that you're dealing with?"

Anis sighed, "Yes, it's.. complicated."

The head maid, Ilia, deadpanned, "Her brother rebelled, stole Lainie's vampirism, Anis kicked his ass only to end up heir, she hated it so Euphie took on the role of heir."

Euphie groaned, "Please don't put it that bluntly!"

"How do you steal vampirism?" Mai muttered.

"I'm not sure I want to know," Natsuki muttered back.

"Ripped her vampire heart out and shoved it into his chest," Ilia noted blandly.

"ACK," Mai paled.

"I recovered, thankfully," Lainie added with a sigh.

"Still!" Mai shook her head.

Shy, Spirits and Iko looked equally pale.

It didn't seem to bother Priestess much, but Pluto was aware the young lady had seen some shit, as they say...

"More tea?" Pluto offered, pouring.

"So," Mai sipped her tea, "Natsuki has a problem."

"I was going to ask..." Natsuki grumbled.

"Oh?" Priestess asked mildly.

Natsuki looked sheepish, "Well, yes. There's a classmate that is in love with me, but she's done things that bother me."

"Like?" Pluto asked gently.

Natsuki took a breath as she admitted, "She wiped out the evil organization that had been plotting against we HIME..."

"What, ALL of them?" Spirits blinked.

"Down to the last man," Natsuki agreed.

"Good job!" Spirits gave a thumbs up, "That sort of thoroughness is almost Russian."

"I'm pretty sure that as heroes we are NOT supposed to forgive that kind of thing," Shy sighed at Spirits.

Euphie addressed Natsuki, "Did she do it out of love for you?"

Anis sighed, "Love does NOT justify anything, dear."

"From what I recall from the past event, the Red Star magnified everyone involved emotions," Pluto pointed out.

Mai added, "Yeah, Mikoto even worked for the bad guys then."

"Hey! It was my brother asking," Mikoto pouted.

"So, you could argue that it was temporarily insanity," Natsuki mused.

"Or she's a psychopath," Iko offered dryly.

"Gee, thanks," Natsuki sighed.
