Hey everybody, y'all all right? I know, I know, it's been a while. I haven't been in the mood to write for a long time, and honestly, didn't really feel there was more to say. But, your PMs and reviews gave me a little boost, and I decided to dip my big toe back in. The story picks up where the last chapter ended. This is a more domestic Fitz and Olivia, snippets of their married life with children, and gratuitous sex. But, there might be a little drama on the horizon. Thank you ALL for your kind PMs, for your encouragement, and for your continued interest in my version of our favorite couple.

Anniversary…
After their trip to Chesapeake for Father's Day, the Grants returned to Virginia to pack for their European summer vacation, and to celebrate their second wedding anniversary with friends and family.
The intimate affair was held on a beautiful June evening beneath the stars on the back lawn of their Falls Church estate, complete with a table set for twenty, a DJ, and a dance floor. The hired chef and his staff served seven courses, and a DJ had played music from different genres, which kept everyone on the dance floor, including their parents. There had been wine, toasts and funny stories about the couple.
The Grant children were kept inside by the only sitter they'd ever used beside Bert, and other family of course, Cassandra "Cass" Miller. When T.C. graduated from George Washington, and moved back to New York City, they'd had to find a new babysitter for their date nights. Bert was available but they did not like to impose on her time, nor the grandparents. Cass came highly recommended by Bert. During the interview they both liked her immediately. She passed the criminal and drug tests, and had a clean driving record. They'd also made it clear that she was not to post photos of them, their children, their home, or any personal details about their private life on social media. She agreed to an NDA, but they needn't have worried because Cass Miller seemed to get nothing but joy out of looking after their children, and their children loved her. They still had dates but now called them "parent's night out." Fitz always joked it was the one time he got his wife to himself.
They knew that eventually they were going to have to hire more help, maybe a nanny, but Fitz just wasn't there yet. He didn't like the idea of a stranger looking after their children, Cass being the exception since she was called upon only when they were going to be away for a few hours, no matter how necessary he now recognized it to be. The subject had been shelved for now, but Olivia was sure they would be revisiting it after the first of the year when both their schedules became busier.
The night had been magical and the food was excellent. As the wait staff removed the dinner dishes, everyone's attention was drawn to Fitz when he stood.
"I wanted to toast my bride," he grinned down at Olivia, "my wife, my best friend, confidante, and the mother of my children, by saying something deep, romantic and memorable. I've been thinking about it since last night and this evening. Two years ago, on the evening of our wedding, I stood watching her walk toward me on the arm of her father," he glanced at Eli who gave him a brief nod, "and all I could think was finally. I'd searched for you all of my life and I knew it would never feel complete without you. Ever again."
A collective 'awww' went up from all the women at the table, and Olivia sat looking up at her husband with a hand over her heart and tears in her eyes.
"From the first day we met, I knew, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. You are all I ever wished for, Olivia Carolyn Pope-Grant. You are my passion, my life. You see my faults and love me anyway." He allowed himself a few moments to enjoy his wife's beautiful face before he continued. "Thank you for the countless ways you take care of us. There is no one I'd rather share this life with."
Olivia stood and cupped her husband's face in her hands. "And there is no one you're going to share this life with," she teased. "We're in this together."
Fitz grinned and wrapped his arms around her waist, then lowered his head and she kissed him while their guests cheered. When they were quiet again, Olivia spoke.
"This year marks three years of loving you, Fitzgerald Thomas Grant, III. There hasn't been a single day since we met that I don't smile at the very thought of you. I want you to know that choosing you, trusting you, loving you, and marrying you were the best decisions I ever made. You are my lover, my protector, my best friend, and my favorite person in the entire world, next to our children of course." There was more laughter from their guests, and Olivia laughed as well. "Sorry babe, but they are everything." Fitz chuckled, nodding. He understood because there were days he looked at those tiny humans and still couldn't believe that something that amazing had come from him.
She reached out and lightly caressed his cheek. "You take such good care of me, and I love you deeply, my love, everyday. Happy Anniversary, babe."
"Happy Anniversary, my Livvie."
Once they were seated again, the couple listened as their friends and family went around the table toasting their union. Fitz with his arm settled on the back of Olivia's chair, lightly stroking her arm, as she leaned back against his chest. Joey, Julian, T.C. and Dre told the best stories. There had been a lot of laughter, and a few tears.
Later, everyone watched as Fitz led his wife to the dance floor. He pulled her body close to his and together they swayed to the Tony! Toni! Tone! classic, "Anniversary."
"Do you know what today is? It's our anniversary!"
They moved in sync, locked in their own private little world, and when the song ended, Fitz kissed Olivia deeply as he dipped her low. The move was met with applause and raucous shouts from some of the guys.
"Oh, come on!" T.C. yelled from the table, where she sat wrapped in Ty's arms.
Fitz laughed against Olivia's lips, knowing his sister's feigned disgust came from the time she found her brother and sister-in-law in the throes of passion on the sofa in their favorite room. It was their inside joke. They'd returned home from date night, and thought she was asleep. As things got a little hot and heavy in the foyer, common sense said go to your bedroom and lock the door, but they couldn't wait. Unfortunately, that night T.C. Grant had seen more of them than she ever wanted to see. He turned to wink at his sister, and gave her a charming and almost embarrassing smile. Almost. She looked at him with an annoyed expression on her face.
"You interrupted us then, and you're doing it now. Have you learned nothing?" Fitz inquired.
"Yuck!" was her only response, but she discreetly winked at him and gave him a knowing smile. She complained, but watching her brother as he and Olivia flirted and made out shamelessly with each other in front of everyone, made her smile. Fitz was happier than she could ever remember, even when he was still in the League. Of the siblings, T.C. was closest to Fitz although both brothers were overly protective of their sister. She trusted her eldest brother with everything. Well, almost everything. Next to Ty, he was her biggest cheerleader. When she'd shared with him that she and Ty were very serious, and headed toward matrimony. Instead of asking a million questions, he'd told her how happy he was for her. He had long accepted that his "baby" sister was now a young woman, and a sexual being with a boyfriend who was going to become her husband one day. Fitz and Julian had had long talks about letting go, but it wasn't easy. He still squirmed sometimes when Ty was touchy-feely with her, and anything else that hinted at any intimacy between the two. Hell, even now, sometimes Fitz still looked away when he saw Ty pull T.C. in for a kiss, or grab her ass when he thought no one was looking.
"Aw, Ted, leave them alone. That was almost two years ago," Ty said, before leaning down and kissing her hair. Everyone laughed again. The party continued with a few of their guests joining them on the dance floor.
XXX
Fitz leaned in and pressed his forehead against Olivia's in a gesture those in attendance had seen many times before. It was almost more intimate than a kiss. For one moment, they focused solely on each other to the exclusion of all their family and friends around them.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight, Livvie?" Fitz asked his wife as they swayed to Stevie Wonder's As, a nod to their first dance at their wedding reception.
Olivia nodded. "You have, but a girl can't hear how beautiful she is too many times."
Fitz laughed. "I love this dress," he said, as his gaze moved down the length of his wife's body. She was stunning, sexy and elegant in a white, fitted, floor length, halter dress. It had been tailored to fit her petite body to perfection, and her arms, neck and back were a tanned contrast to the pristine fabric. Now that she had children, she rarely wore the color.
"Thank you, babe," she responded, smiling up at him.
"But I'm ready to see it on the floor of our bedroom," He said, squeezing her ass. She threw back her head, laughing, and Fitz's gaze move to her exposed neck, before returning to her beautiful face.
Fitz sighed and looked around at their family and friends on the dance floor. He loved them all, but time alone with his Livvie was what he was looking forward to when their dinner party ended.
"What would I do without you?" he whispered.
"You'll never find out," Olivia promised.
Fitz grinned and winked, then gave her a playful slap on her backside.
"Fitz!" She blushed and looked around to make sure no one saw what he did.
He lowered his head and his voice became low and conspiratorial. "You know I love our families and our friends, and they love us, but I'm ready for them to leave so I can take you inside and enjoy some private time. Just me and you, gorgeous."
Olivia leaned back and frowned up at her husband. "Fitz you insisted on this dinner party. I wanted to spend a quiet evening alone with you."
"I know, I know, but I just wanted to do something special for you."
Her frown softened. "You already do that, babe, everyday. You didn't have to plan a huge production to show me how you feel. I already know. Our love is real, Fitz, and we celebrate it daily."
Fitz smiled at his wife, then leaned down and kissed her forehead. He looked around at their guests then back at her.
"So how much longer before we start giving them hints?"
Olivia's eyes widened. "Fitz, we can't just throw our guests out," she whispered, looking around at their family and friends.
"Why can't we? They don't live here. They all have homes; very lavish homes that they can all go back to."
Olivia chuckled.
"Seriously, Livvie, let's get them out of here so we can go up to bed and finish the evening doing what couples do on their anniversary."
"Fitz, our parents are here," she tried to reason again.
"And between them they have over sixty years of marriage, and as many anniversaries. I think they'll understand."
Fitz glanced in the direction of their parents. His mother smiled at him, and he returned her smile. Constance Grant had liked Olivia immediately. She respected the way she'd handled herself the first time they met, especially after Fitz had sprung her and JR on her without warning. She'd told her son as much a few days later when he'd come to Chesapeake with T.C. Fitz had been in a hurry to get back to D.C., and Constance knew why.
The morning he was headed home, they were both on the patio before JR and T.C. had awakened, having coffee and watching the sun rise.
Three years ago...
"Olivia is beautiful, Fitzgerald," Constance said with a knowing look on her face.
Fitz glanced at his mother. "Thanks, Mom, I think so, too."
"And I know she must be very important to you if you brought her to lunch to meet your father and me," Constance continued. "I can also see how anxious you are to get home to see her. She is special."
Fitz grinned. "She is." He took a sip of his coffee. "I think she's the one."
Constance smiled behind her delicate coffee cup before looking at her son. For a moment she didn't speak.
"Fitzgerald, if you really think Olivia is the one, then hold on to her. Treat her right and cherish her. She is going to be your partner in everything, and nothing, I mean nothing, should ever come between the two of you."
Fitz nodded.
"I mean it, Fitzgerald. If you take this woman into your life and commit to her, I do not ever want to see or hear of you disrespecting her."
"Aww Mom, you know I COULD never and WOULD never do that. If Livvie will have me as a life partner, I'll treat her with the same love, devotion, and respect I've seen Dad give to you all my life." He grinned at his mother, who smiled back.
"I know. I just wanted to make sure. You are a good son, and an even better man."
"Thanks, Mom."
Constance nodded. They both continued sipping their coffee in silence and staring at the orange-pink radiance of the rising sun, which slowly broke the water's surface.
She'd followed up that conversation with telling him on several occasions to 'keep this one.'
"I mean it, Fitzgerald," she'd said. "Keep her."

Current…
Olivia laughed. "You are incorrigible."
Fitz shook his head. "No, actually, I'm horny." He pulled her closer so she could feel the evidence. She hugged him tightly, before looking up at him again.
"So how much longer?" she asked.
Fitz laughed at the meaning behind his wife's words. "Well we still have coffee, dessert, and cordials." He glanced at the vintage Piaget on his wrist. "Maybe two more hours."
She smiled. "And then all of me is all yours."
Fitz smiled and nodded his head. "It is the best place on earth," he said.
"Oh, is it?" she asked, playing along.
"You know it is, and I love it there." His eyes darkened in desire.
Olivia gave him a heated look, letting him know where her thoughts were headed, then nodded. "Yes, I know."
"If I could live there, I would," he said, slowly moving against his wife.
She gasped, then relaxed. "Well, you do visit quite often," she said in a low, sultry voice. "And you're always welcome." She was enjoying their back and forth sexual innuendos and the heated looks they were giving each other. They both knew neither would be able to keep up the obvious foreplay much longer.
Fitz laughed as the song finally came to an end. "That's good to know, Mrs. Grant. I look forward to my next visit later tonight."
"I can't wait."
He kissed her. "Neither can I, now come, our guests are waiting."
Fitz took her hand and led her back to the table where the chef was waiting to serve dessert. The chocolate truffle cake with a rich ganache looked sinful. It wasn't the decadent milk chocolate he was looking forward to licking, but it definitely gave him a few ideas for later.

Greece…
One week later, the family of four boarded the Bennett jet and headed to Greece for three weeks. They'd decided to bring their children along although neither would remember the trip, but they wanted to create the core memory anyway. And even if Cruz and Elle-Carolyn didn't remember, their parents would. They knew their children wouldn't be small forever, and what they exposed them to now would help them adapt in the future. They believed that travel awakened curiosity, and they wanted to raise curious and inquisitive children. Experiences mattered. Fitz had said on more than one occasion that seeing the world through his son's eyes was a gift he could have never imagined.
They spent one week in the capital of Athens, staying at the Four Seasons Astir Place, before heading to their villa at Serifos Island, located on the Aegan Sea. Wyatt and Enrique, along with a housekeeper and personal chef, joined them for two weeks of fun and sun.
Their chef prepared rich, authentic Greek meals each day and Fitz and Olivia had enjoyed every saucy, rich food known to man...and sex. They ate a lot, and had lots of sex when the uncles took the kids, which was often.
One afternoon they were eating a lunch of hummus with shredded lamb and pita, and shish taouk while their babies, who'd already eaten, played on the beach with Wyatt and Enrique.
"This is so good," Fitz said with his mouth full. "I could eat this every day. And that's saying a lot because the only other thing I want to eat every day is you." He grinned at his wife, making her blush.
"Oh, is that right?" Olivia responded. "Well you haven't had me today."
Fitz shook his head. "Don't worry, darling, I'm definitely taking care of that later."
Olivia laughed and nodded. She had always felt that she and Fitz were the exception to the rule, that people who talked about sex all the time weren't getting it in nearly as much as they pretended. That had never been a problem for them. They got it in plenty. And being in another country, in a private villa with their family hadn't deterred them one bit.
When they weren't having sex, they went into town and took in the sights, and danced on the beach late into the night while the uncles babysat. Cruz had a blast with his Uncle WaWa and "Kio." He couldn't quite say 'Tio' just yet, while Elle-Carolyn cried for her daddy most of the time. It was if she needed him to be directly in her face at all times.
They agreed that time together was always a necessity and their time on Serifos brought out something in them that they loved, and agreed that it was something they wanted to hold on to forever. The days they'd spent on vacation were the best days and they would never lose sight of that.

One month later…
"Does Fitz ever miss playing football," Lauren McWilliams asked Olivia seemingly out of nowhere. They were sitting on the large patio of the McWilliams home, where the five couples had gathered for a cookout to quietly celebrate Deuce McWilliams' first birthday. A larger party was planned to be held at the couple's annual Labor Day event with family and friends.
Olivia looked up from watching three month old Elle-Carolyn Grant as she nursed from her mother's breast, then shook her head.
"Not really. Why? Is Drew considering retirement again?"
Lauren nodded. "We've discussed it, and honestly I'm ready. But, I also know my husband. I mean, this is his tenth year in the league, eighth with the Team, and I want him home full-time. Our plan was to have a child when his career started to wind down. We have a one-year old son now, but he doesn't appear to be ready to hang up his cleats nor does he really want to discuss it." She glanced at Deuce who was sitting on a blanket, playing with India and Cruz, and smiled. "He wants to play at least two more years. We've had a few arguments about it, but he says it's for our financial security. I'm an accountant. Of course I watch what's going on with our finances. My husband definitely does not need to be worried about our financial health."
"Well if it isn't about finances, do you think he wants to play while he's still one of the top receivers in the league?" Tracee asked.
Lauren nodded. "That's one of many reasons."
"Well Laur, you definitely want to make sure he's ready," Tracee continued. "I don't know about Drew, but Victor would be one of those guys who fake retires. You know, not ready to admit that the reason he left the game is because he no longer has game."
The ladies laughed.
"I'm so glad Andre was no longer in the league when we met. I don't know the active player version of him. Just hearing about it was enough," Jada said with a shudder.
Everyone laughed again.
"Well to answer your question, Laur, Fitz doesn't miss it anymore."
"Really?" Tracee asked, while absently rubbing her belly. The Fullers were beyond happy about their impending parenthood. Their last round of IVF was successful, and Tracee was just entering her second trimester. Everything seemed to be going well. They would be first time parents in five and a half months, and Olivia and the other ladies were very happy for her.
Olivia nodded. "He missed it in the beginning. You know, the predictability, what comes next but as far as playing the game," she shook her head." But now, not really. Of course, having a four month old at home when he walked away, helped a lot. Cruz occupied a lot of the space and time that practices and game prep normally would have, so he didn't really have time to miss it. Don't get me wrong, the transition wasn't easy for either of us, but he hasn't regretted retiring at all."
And he hadn't. When Fitz walked away from the game, he meant it. His son was still an infant, and his wife was home with him, so he wanted to be home as well. He couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Family life was an adventure he and Olivia were embarking on together; the pregnancies and parenthood, and he didn't want to miss any of it. His day was made just by watching his son run around playing with their dog or his little girl smiling for the first time, and trying to talk to him. He could lose hours watching them both. No, playing in the NFL was in Fitz Grant's rear view mirror.
"Our children, his foundation, and his firm take up a lot of his time now, but the first few months, well…" Whatever Olivia was about to say was interrupted by her son tugging on her leg wanting some of the attention she was currently giving his baby sister. Cruz had begun to act up a little because of the new baby currently in his mother's arms. The regression had surprised both parents, but it wasn't unexpected.
Olivia glanced in her husband's direction for help. He stood at the grill with Drew, Victor, Dre, and Julian, who wore a contented two month old Sophia in a baby wrap on his chest. Fitz was laughing so hard, his head, shoulders and entire upper torso were thrown back. She loved seeing him so at ease and didn't want to disturb him.
For eleven years during this time of year, mid-July, he would be mentally and physically preparing for training camp, but this was the second year where camp was nowhere on their radar. As a matter of fact, they would be leaving in a little over a week for Martha's Vineyard, along with Julian, Joey and Sophia, to spend time on the island with Eli and Maya Pope.
Cruz continued to whine and pull on his mother's dress until Auntie Joey stepped in and lifted him in her arms. He wasn't having it at first, but he eventually settled down on her lap.
Olivia smiled, shaking her head at her son. Her boy loved his mama. If Cruz was awake and his mother was near, he was her shadow. If he awoke at night, Fitz would bring him into their bed and he would lie between them. On a few occasions Fitz was about to have a little fun with his wife, only to be blocked by his toddler son. If Olivia was lying on her husband's chest, their son would try to move her away so he could get between them. Fitz swore Cruz smirked at him each time he did it, while Olivia always defended her baby, although she secretly thought the same.
XXX
Across the expansive patio, Fitz kept an ear in the conversation he was having with the guys while also keeping a watchful eye on his wife and children. He watched as Olivia unlatched their already sleeping daughter and placed her over her shoulder, rubbing her back in slow circles. He smiled; that was usually his job after Olivia had nursed her. Bottle feeding his baby girl was one of his favorite activities. It not only gave his wife a break, but allowed him to bond with Elle-Carolyn.
He loved sitting quietly in the nursery, in the dimness of a nightlight watching her watch him, gently stroking her little cheek. He'd done the same with their son when time allowed, but now that he was home, he was eager to help out. Breastfeeding was amazing, but it was a round-the-clock job and it sometimes left his wife worn out. Fitz stepping in with a bottle wasn't just a helping hand it was a game-changer.
He was currently enjoying the conversation with the guys. It was their usual NFL powwow where Dre reminisced about his playing days "back in the day," while Julian, Drew and Victor listened, and Fitz laughed, having lived through his friend's on and off the field exploits, before he was married. Drew and Victor were preparing for training camp, and he didn't envy either one of them. He couldn't wait to get away again with his family, and was counting down the days.
XXX
Loud laughter from the men got the attention of their wives.
"I'm afraid to ask what they're talking about," Lauren said while holding her son's hands as he took a few steps.
"You know they do this every time we get together," Olivia added.
"What? Just sit around, drink and gossip all afternoon?" Jada asked.
"Is that what they're doing?" Tracee responded. "I thought it was man talk."
"Same difference," Joey quipped, causing them to all laugh, loudly, and the men to look their way.
"So Jada, how's India doing keeping up with all those activities? By the time she's five, she'll be ready to carry a full course load at Howard," Joey said teasingly, nudging Jada in the arm. Jada Cruz was the Tiger Mom of the group.
"I think I might take her out of a couple of those classes," Jada said. "It's probably all too much anyway."
The silence that fell caused her to look up at her friends.
"What? You all said I was going overboard. Liv you even sent me that article about the dangers of 'over-programming' your kids." Jada made air-quotes.
Olivia nodded. "I did but I never thought you would take it to heart. Honestly, I don't see how you do it. Cruz has music and swim classes. I'm currently not working, but it is still exhausting." She glanced at her son who was in his father's arms. "He's almost finished with swim classes, and once those end he'll begin Little Shots soccer and then biddy baseball in the Spring. It's a lot, but Fitz is so excited. I'm becoming a sports mom." She shuddered at the thought.
"Well I didn't take it to heart. I came to that conclusion all on my own, thank you very much."
"And the conclusion is what?" Olivia asked, grinning at the other ladies before looking at her friend again.
"That I just want to spend more time with my baby while she's little and needs me, and still wants me around. I'm just going to spend all the time I can with her."
"Well good for you, J. I want to be the same way with Sof. Of course she's only two months old right now, but I can't imagine her being away from me for too long."
"Spoken like a brand new mother," Lauren deadpanned, causing the others to break into loud laughter again.
XXX
Later that evening…
Fitz stood in the door of his wife's dressing room taking her in as she stood at the center island storing the diamond stud earrings and watch she'd worn earlier, in the top drawer of the built-in jewelry safe.
They had had a great day with their family and friends. The men had eventually joined their wives and everyone had stuffed themselves to the gills with chicken, salmon, steak, and grilled vegetables. Afterward, the children had fallen asleep while their parents lounged around on the covered patio, content and almost comatose. Olivia sat on Fitz's lap. He had one arm wrapped around her while the holding a beer in the other hand. Vic and Tracee were half-asleep, entangled together in the hammock suspended from the roof of the patio. Julian had Joey's feet in his lap, massaging them while she sat on the opposite end of the outdoor loveseat, while their hosts were wrapped up in each other's arms on the outdoor sofa, and Dre and Jada swayed together to the soft music, oblivious to everything going on around them.
As the hour got later, and before everyone was fully asleep, they had all packed up their children, said their goodbyes and headed home. Olivia drove her family home, quickly bathed and dressed her babies in their pajamas, then left the rest of their nighttime routine to Fitz while she showered.
Sensing her husband's presence, Olivia looked up and smiled. Fitz had showered and now wore only pajama pants. He grinned back at her and walked across the large room to stand behind her.
"Are the kids asleep?"
He removed his phone from the pocket of the pants and brought up the video feeds of both their children's rooms. Olivia smiled at her sleeping babies.
"Yep. Cruz was out before I could fully tuck him in, and Elle barely finished her bottle. I think we wore them out."
She grinned. "That was the plan."
Fitz chuckled then set the device on the marble top then squeezed his wife's ass. "You smell good, Livvie."
Olivia relaxed against him. "Thank you, babe."
He reached around and cupped her breasts through the silk robe she wore. "I've wanted to do this all day." He gave them a light squeeze and then started nibbling on the back of her neck.
"Fitzzz," she moaned.
"Hmm?" His hand slid underneath the soft silk for skin-to-skin contact. "Your nipples are hard, Livvie."
Olivia's eyes closed and a purrlike moan escaped her lips as her husband lightly teased her nipples. She whimpered from the pleasure. Silently, he turned her body to face him and lowered his head to pull her left breast into his mouth. He groaned out his pleasure and snaked his hand lower to her already wet core.
"Fitz…we can't…in here."
"Of course we can, Livvie," he responded. Fitz didn't know why she was protesting, because both their dressing rooms had seen plenty of action. He twirled his finger around her clit and then grinned when her legs trembled.
"Baaaaybee…"
Fitz reached out and untied her robe and it fell open, exposing her naked body to him, then he sank to his knees.
"Open your legs, Livvie."
Olivia did as she was told.
She was completely hairless. Fitz grinned. His Livvie was always groomed with precision. When they first began dating, she kept it almost completely waxed, leaving a distinct triangle of neatly trimmed hair. But now, she liked changing things up. It had become a game between them. She'd had the shape of a heart, a landing strip, bikini, martini, or nothing at all, which she did during the summer months. She always found time for her professional wax jobs, and he appreciated the effort.
"One day I'll just quit the maintenance altogether and let it grow like a seventies porn star," she said, noticing his grin."Au naturale."
Fitz laughed then looked up at her, shaking his head. "No, don't do that."
Olivia could only nod as he gently eased a finger into her wetness again.
"Ooh," Fitz cooed as he stared at his hidden treasure. "So beautiful," he said.
"Fitz," Olivia moaned.
"You like that, Livvie?" he asked, dipping in a second finger.
"You know I do." She moaned then bit down on her lower lip.
Fitz grinned. "I like it too." He kissed her inner thighs.
Olivia leaned back against the island and tried in vain to catch her breath. She nearly came when Fitz looked up at her with hooded eyes and asked, "May I taste you, Livvie?"
"Y-yes," she panted, nodding her head.
Fitz wrapped his tongue around her clit, causing Olivia to cry out and her hips to buck. He removed his fingers and plunged his tongue in deep. Her thighs tighten around his head and her mind emptied of all coherent thought.
Seconds later, Olivia grabbed a handful of Fitz's hair and let out a loud moan as an explosive orgasm convulsed throughout her body. Fitz's tongue didn't stop, causing Olivia to try and to pull away. But he was having none of that. He wrapped his arms around her thighs, keeping her locked in front of him.
"Fitz! Baby! Wait!" she panted. She needed to try and catch her breath.
But he didn't wait…he couldn't wait, he never could. He just continued lapping. His tongue worked over, around and inside her, sucking and teasing.
"Babe! I can't. I…I don't…" She was literally crying now, her hands grabbing at him, desperate to get him to stop.
Fitz's tongue lapped her clit once more and Olivia's eyes sprung wide open as her next orgasm hit, and she screamed his name."Fitz!"
"That's it, Livvie." He slid his fingers back inside while wave after wave ripped through her body. When the world finally settled around her again, Olivia opened her eyes and smiled at her husband. He grinned back. Most people thought Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III's heroics on the football were his superpower, but she knew differently. What he'd just done to her was short of an atomic bomb exploding. It always was. His tongue, not his throwing arm, was definitely a deadly weapon.
Silently he stood licking his lips and dropped his pajama pants, then fully removed her robe. Lifting her in his arms, he set her atop the island and pulled her forward until she sat on the edge. He spread her legs wide and entered her in one smooth movement.
She cried out.
"So wet, and so tight, Livvie," he murmured against her mouth and she moaned into his.
No. You're so big.Olivia closed her eyes as her husband worked his inches inside, filling her deeper and deeper until he was fully seated, and she couldn't speak. A speechless Olivia Pope Grant did not happen often. Grimacing, she held still for a few moments, allowing her body to adjust to her husband.
"Are you okay?" Fitz looked at his wife with concern.
"I'm okay," she responded.
Then he started to stroke, slowly at first. He rocked her body deep and hard, loving the sight of her closed eyes and lips pulled between her teeth.
"Damn, I love how you feel," he hissed. He thrust into her hard and fast and Olivia held on for the ride. She loved how she could feel her husband deep inside her almost to her stomach.
"Oh yes, Fitz, right there baby, she moaned with her eyes closed tight. Her arms and legs were wrapped around his big body.
"Right there?" he asked with that grin as he continued to stroke his wife.
Olivia nodded vigorously, opening her eyes. "Yes, don't stop." She dug her nails in his back.
Fitz dragged her face to his and they kissed, tongues dueling as her hips moved quickly against him.
Soon she could feel her inner walls tremble all around him and he lost control.
"I'm gonna come!" he panted and then "Awww!" He tried to still her hips and pull away, but Olivia decided to give him a taste of his own medicine and tighten her legs around his waist, grinding her hips against him until his entire body began to shudder.
"You like that, baby?" she taunted him.
Fitz groaned and pulled out. "You're not funny."
Olivia laughed. "It was just a little payback."
"You're very pleased with yourself, aren't you?"
"Aren't you?" She asked, feeling as if she could conquer the world as long as this man was by her side.
The grin on his face answered her question. "Well, I've got something for you." With one good, smooth stroke he was buried deep inside her again.
"Fitz!...Oh…my…God!" Olivia's eyes rolled.
"Not so funny anymore, huh?"
She shook her head. "N…no."
Fitz began to move again, slowly. "You like it?"
"Ohhh, yes." Her hips began to move with him.
"That's it, Livvie," he crooned, "I love you."
Olivia could only nod as Fitz picked up the pace and his hips turned into a human jackhammer. The sounds coming from Olivia's mouth were nonsensical, but Fitz loved hearing them anyway. He leaned down again and his mouth was everywhere; against her neck, her shoulder and her ear. Soon, she froze and moaned, while coming hard and loud, clasping Fitz against her as he worked his tongue along the base of her neck. He wasn't too far behind.
"Yessss!" A white light blinded him and he pulled her closer, before collapsing against her limp body, burying his face in her neck. He remained hard for a while after that, thrusting into her until she came again and him along with her. She felt his breath against her neck again before he spoke in a raspy whisper. I love you, Livvie. When he finally pulled back, Olivia was still struggling to catch her breath. She opened her eyes and he was staring at her, his expression mildly amused. Fitz leaned in to kiss her, but Olivia was almost too spent to move.
"Another shower?" he asked.
"In a little while," she said. She still needed a moment to gather herself and regain her senses.
Fitz seemed to sense this and grinned at her. "Are you okay, Livvie?" he asked, laughter in his voice.
"Yes," she responded, still a little breathless. "Just…one minute."
Fitz nodded. "One minute."

An hour later…
"Babe."
"Hmm?" Fitz answered with his eyes closed, while he absently rubbed his fingers up and down her back.
"I want one of the cupcakes we brought home from Deuce's party," she whispered in the dark.
They had finally emerged from her dressing room, checked on their sleeping babies, showered together, and were now lying in bed. Olivia wore a silk short and tank pajama set and Fitz, boxer briefs. They were both lazy and spent. Their home was quiet, and all the lights, set to timers, had long turned off.
"What?!" Fitz opened his eyes and raised his head, looking down at his wife.
"I didn't have one at the party earlier, and I'm kind of craving one now." She smiled up at him and he chuckled.
"Let's go downstairs and share one," she said, nudging him in the ribs.
"You go," Fitz groaned. "I'm wiped out."
"Aw, come on, babe," she said straddling his big body. "Please come downstairs with me to get dessert?" She used those eyes on him again and for a second he felt his heart stop.
"I already had dessert," he responded, grinning at her and folding his muscular arms behind his head. Olivia rolled her eyes at his comment.
"Come on," she whined. "Please?"
"No."
"Yes."
"No," Fitz said again.
She stretched out on top of his large body. "I remember when you would make late night runs for whatever I wanted. Condoms, pregnancy tests, tampons, junk food after…" her voice trailed off without finishing her thought.
"After what?" he asked. There was a smile in his voice.
"After we had crazy, mind-blowing sex," Olivia said, leaning down and kissing him along the side of his neck. He shuddered a little, which made her smile. "You never told me 'no,' then. You always got dressed, even though sometimes you were exhausted from practice, and had to wear a hat or a hoodie so you wouldn't be recognized."
Fitz chuckled. "I was trying to get you to fall in love with me, Livvie. I was always on my best behavior."
"And you're not now?"
"Nope." He shook his head, grinning and trying to stifle a laugh.
"What?!" She attempted to move away from his body but felt his hands in the dark come up and grab her ass, and squeeze, trying to calm her down.
"Aww Livvie, back then I would have done anything you asked me to do. But I have you now. We're married with two beautiful children." He grinned at her, and she swatted his hands away from her butt before finally climbing from his body and the bed, then standing.
"I'll go by myself if you won't come with me."
Fitz sighed, bringing a knowing smile to Olivia's face. "Okay, I'm coming." He threw the sheet aside, and stood next to his wife.
Olivia grinned up at him, took his hand and then led him toward the door. "Be quiet," she whispered. "You know your daughter wakes if she even thinks she hears your voice. Those little eyes pop open and she looks around, crying for you."
"Don't worry about my daughter. If she wakes, I'll get her," Fitz said.
"I like the way you call her my daughter as if I had nothing to do with her conception."
"Well looking at both of them there's no way anyone can say that with a straight face. They're little clones of you, Livvie, with my hair."
Olivia grinned up at her husband. "You're right about that, babe," she whispered.
Fitz laughed quietly and followed his wife down the back stairs to the kitchen.
The couple sat at the double island feeding each other the decadent, buttery, sweet treat.
"I kind of miss when we used to do this," Olivia said. "When we were dating, we'd stay up late sometimes, eating and talking. We had to find time to be together whenever we could."
Fitz leaned down and licked frosting from her top lip. "Yeah, time was hard to come by when I was still playing and you were still in the AUSA's office. Hearings, trial prep, actual trials, and closing argument prep, and I had practice, film sessions, team meetings, travel, games and public appearances. We were both very busy, and it was exhausting."
"But we managed to find time to fall in love, get married and have two babies in a little over two years."
Fitz grinned. "We moved fast."
Olivia nodded, returning his grin before standing and taking the dessert plate and their forks to the sink. Fitz walked up behind and wrapped his arms around her waist. She chuckled but leaned back against him.
"You cannot be serious, mister," she said, without even looking back at him. "I'm still sore from earlier, and I'm exhausted. That was enough for me, thank you very much."
Fitz leaned down and whispered near her ear. "Every time you take a step, you'll think of my dick. That you're mine. Always."
Olivia moaned. "Always, baby. But we are still not having anymore sex tonight."
Fitz chuckled. "I didn't say anything, Livvie!"
"You didn't have to, I know you."
"That's just your dirty mind at work. All I want to do is make out with my wife like we're in high school."
Olivia finally turned to face him. "You would have not been interested in me in high school. I was the no nonsense, studious girl that guys like you ignored."
"Guys like me?" Fitz said with a slight frown. "What kind of guy was that?"
"The cool jocks," Olivia said smiling up at him. "The hot guys. Don't get me wrong, I was popular, but the jocks and hot guys were afraid of me because I was too serious, too frank, and had a very sharp tongue."
"I know I probably would have been afraid of you in high school."
Olivia raised a brow. "You? Why?"
"Livvie, you had beauty, brains and confidence, and you didn't suffer fools. Still don't." He grinned at her. "There wasn't much any guy could pull over on you. At that age, I was definitely not up to the challenge. So I would've played it off and just admired you from afar, like the other guys."
Olivia laughed shaking her head.
"Wait, you think I'm hot?"
Olivia twisted her lips. "You know you are, and I've told you so on more than one occasion."
Fitz grinned at his wife. "You, beautiful lady," he cupped her face in hands then pressed her forehead against her, "were worth it all."
Olivia looked into his beautiful eyes. "So were you."
"Come on, let's try to get a little sleep before our daughter wakes us for her midnight feeding." He took her hand and led her upstairs to their suite where they climb into bed. Fitz pulled Olivia's back to his chest, and wrapped an arm around her waist, then stretched the other above their heads, his fingers playing lazily with her hair. It didn't take long for her breaths to become even, indicating that she wass asleep. Within moments, the rhythm of his breathing matched hers, and within minutes, he was asleep too.

One week later the family, along with Lucky Seven, left for the Vineyard. The elder Pope's summer home was filled with the sounds of a very happy toddler, two infants and a dog, and Eli and Maya loved it! Elle-Carolyn and Sofia were now three and two months old, and Cruz couldn't get enough of them.
Most mornings Fitz, Julian, Seven, and sometimes Joey, would run along the harbor and Seaview Avenue, and to Ocean Park and back, before anyone else in the Pope household was awake. A lot of their time was also spent at the Grant compound. JR, along with his three brothers and their families spent a month each summer on the island. Fitz, Olivia, Julian and Joey joined Fitz's cousins for sailing, swimming on the private beach, late night bonfires and parties.
One of Fitz's cousins was getting married in a few days and there were Grants everywhere. Olivia, Joey and Julian were having a ball, but Fitz preferred the Popes, and their friends back home. He liked them all because they were all friendly, unpretentious and brutally honest, whereas his family could be snobs. But his wife seemed to be enjoying herself so he would tolerate them for a weekend.
Shaking off his thoughts, Fitz went over to one of the serving stations and had the servers fill with a little of everything. He approached the table where Olivia sat with Joey, T.C., the bride-to-be Hannah, and her sister, Emily. He placed the plate in front of his wife. Resting both hands on her shoulders, he massaged the muscles in her neck and upper back.
"What would you like to drink, Livvie?"
Smiling up at him over her shoulder, she responded. "Sparkling water, babe."
Fitz walked away to do Olivia's bidding and Emily chuckled. "Wood's right," she said, speaking of her brother, "Fitz is whipped!"
"Emily," Hannah whispered, "you shouldn't say that about Fitz."
"Why not?" she asked.
"Because it's disrespectful," T.C. said, giving her cousin a pointed look. She looked at Olivia who had an unreadable look on her face. "We can choose our friends, but that isn't the case when it comes to relatives."
"It's okay, T. My husband takes care of me, and I take care of him." Olivia knew that she had Fitz's nose wide open, always had, and he was more than happy to admit it.
"Hear! Hear!" Joey said.
"And besides, in this family you know that the women rule and the men serve. You learn that the first time you're in their presence."
As if on cue, Fitz returned with Olivia's sparking water, followed by Julian, and the groom-to-be. He set it next to her plate.
"Thank you, babe."
Leaning down, he kissed her lips. "You're welcome, my love."
The women sat eating and chatting for a few hours until Olivia stood. "I need to get back so I can nurse my baby, and tuck my son in for the night."
Joey stood. "I'm going to join you. Maya and Eli probably have their hands full with the sister-cousins."
Olivia glanced at Hannah, Emily and T.C. "I will see you all tomorrow. Good night."
"Wait for me," T.C. called out as she followed Olivia and Joey.
Fitz and Julian remained at the Grant compound where they sat on the beach drinking whiskey and toasting the groom. Julian had never been much of a drinker, but tonight he'd made an exception. The liquid flowed, the tongues got looser, and more toasts were made. Sometime around three Fitz and Julian climbed onto the chaise lounges on the Pope patio and fell asleep. It was Olivia who found her husband and her brother later that morning, both sound asleep.
That last weekend celebrating Fitz's cousin was the best way to spend the end of the summer before they had to return to Virginia, and Olivia began to prepare for her new position at Howard.
