Going Underground
In New Chinatown, the people are celebrating Chinese New Year. During the festival, Lexi, Duck, and Rip come out of a Chinese restaurant with several take out cartons of food for the team back at HQ. Duck seems nervous to be out in Chinatown.
Duck: "Okay, we got the food. Can we go back to HQ now?"
Rip: "Come on, Duck. Enjoy the festival." Rip says to cheer Duck up.
Lexi: "Yeah. Chill, Duck. It's not a trip downtown without a little takeout." Lexi adds. But Duck is still nervous.
Duck: "Frankly, I'm a little uncomfortable in a place where duck and horn sauce are a dinner entre. If anyone starts drooling, I'm quacking out of here." Duck says revealing what makes him nervous about being in Chinatown.
Rip: "Watch out. Here comes your girlfriend." Rip jokes as another dragon walks down the street.
Duck: "Ha, ha. Very funny." Duck says not amused.
As the festival continues, Lexi's sonic hearing kicks in and she hears some sort of rumbling.
Lexi: "Shh. Do you hear something?"
Rip: "Aside from all the cheering and horns?" Rip jokes again.
Duck: "Yeah, you'd have to have super hearing to-" Lexi smiles and Duck realizes. "Oh, right."
Lexi: "Come on, let's check it out."
Rip: "Why don't we head back to HQ and drop the food off first?" Rip suggests.
Duck: "I agree. Wouldn't want the food to get spoiled before we eat it and I don't want to look while my arms are full." Duck agrees.
Then, what feels like a earthquake, rumbles through town. After a few seconds, it stops. Rip and Duck are covered with the food while Lexi isn't.
Duck: "Anybody order duck and orange sauce?"
Rip: "Or bird and seed sauce?"
Then another earthquake hits and a food cart with more Chinese food rolls down the sidewalk and hits Duck, dousing him with more sauce. Then the quake stops again. Lexi and Rip walk up to Duck.
Lexi: "Aren't you saucy?" She jokes and Duck wipes some sauce from his beak.
Duck: "You know, I am pretty tasty." Then the ground under Lexi and Rip suddenly drops a little.
Rip: "Aftershock!" Rip says as the ground continues to drop.
Duck: "Are you getting smaller, or am I getting taller?" Duck asks in confusion.
Lexi: "Keep dreaming, Duck." Then another cart rolls towards Duck.
Rip: "Incoming!" Rip points out.
Duck: "Not again..." Duck teleports to between Lexi and Rip and the cart flies harmlessly over them.
Rip: "Seriously, what's wrong with this picture?" Rip asks just as another carton lands on his head.
Duck: "Well, it looks like downtown is starting to look like uptown." Duck jokes as the entire of Chinatown rises way up above sea level then sinks into a crater above the risen land mass in a glowing green flash.
Other tall buildings suddenly sink into the earth. Then, in what seems like a museum artifact room, a bald man with rock prosthetics for his right eye and arm, an eye glass over his left eye, and wielding a strange staff of power, breaks into the room and walks to the center of the room where a large glowing green crystal with a dragon drawing etched into the crystal.
The man: "The Jade Serpent at last. Get ready, Acmetropolis, for there's going to be a whole lot more shaking going on!" He picks up the crystal and lets out an evil laugh.
Back at HQ, the Loonatics gather at the circle table looking at a screen showing the raised earth mass.
Ace: "So, this mountain came out of nowhere? Just like that?"
Rip: "Started as an earthquake and then it just appeared."
Duck: "I'm sure it wasn't there before."
Rev: "Yeah. Weird huh? But now we can go skiing anytime we want without ever leaving downtown. If we work up an appetite on the slopes, we can order a Chinese takeout at the bottom. Man, Acmetropolis has everything!" Rev says with excitement. Then Tech comes in with a model of Downtown after looking for a way as to how the event happened.
Tech: "I've gone over it again and again, but I can't figure out what would have caused that geological instability." Tech says with some frustration.
Duck: "Oh, I dunno. Maybe something like a GIANT METEOR hitting the Earth? Hmm? Ring a bell?" Duck sarcastically asks.
Tech: "Perhaps if I had more time to build a more detailed model. I did it during my break. Total rush job." The team gathers around the model. Lexi looks close.
Lexi: "Tech, the little elevated trains are actually running." Then she looks at her watch on her arm panel. "And on time." The team give a little laugh.
Ace: "Alright, Tech. Don't work yourself too much. Any little bit of information would be fine."
Tech: "Thanks, Ace. Okay, now normally when there's tectonic activity, the plates of the Earth would move like this." Tech presses a button and the model shakes like it's having a normal quake. "No matter how many variations I try, it's just nothing would account for this." He presses the button a few more times and the model crust under the model city rises into a volcano shape like what happened to the real Downtown. Slam takes a piece of the brown substance and eats it.
Slam: "MMMmmmmm. C CC Chocolate!"
Ace: "Uhh, Slam? I believe that's mud you're eating."
Tech: "Actually, I ran out of soil so I used hot fudge." Tech assures. With that, everyone takes a bite and enjoys it.
Lexi: "Mmm. With nuts." Then Zadavia appears.
Zadavia: "Speaking of nuts, this attack was the work of one Thaddeus Dare." The monitors show a picture of Dare before he had prosthetics.
Tech: "Thaddeus Dare? Nut is an understatement."
Rev: "Who is he?"
Zadavia: "A reclusive and old scientist, but brilliant nonetheless, Dare was convinced that one day he would be able to control all forms of rock."
Duck: "Say what? Control Rock?! Hello. Whacko party of one!"
Lexi: "Let me guess. The meteor had something to do his craziness?"
Zadavia: "Correct, Lexi. He was hideously disfigured by the meteor crash. He went crazy and his rock experiments grew more reckless. He was finally banished by the scientific community and disappeared."
Ace: "Let me guess. A guy THAT into rocks went underground. Right?"
Zadavia: "Deep underground. I believe he's prepared to take his revenge on the world that rejected him. And he just may have found the ultimate means." The monitor shows the Jade Serpent Crystal.
Tech: "The Jade Serpent Crystal."
Zadavia: "Yes. The Crystal that was housed in the Science Tallow that sank into the ground today."
Rip: "What's so special about this nugget?
Zadavia: "It's an ancient gem that has a unique atomic structure said to contain untold energy. If Dr. Dare somehow manages to harness the power of the Jade Serpent, there is no telling what he might do. You must find Dr. Dare and stop him. Zadavia out." With that, she disappears.
Tech: "If Dare's lair is underground, I have just the thing to get us there."
Rip: "Do we dare use it?" Rip jokingly asks.
Ace: "We certainly DO dare Rip!" Ace says and hi-fives Rip. "Let's jet!"
The Loonatics board Tech's new Mobile Magma Mover and start their journey through the Earth's crust to Dare's lair.
Ace: "Wow, Tech! This is sure a way to beat the traffic!" Tech is certainly enjoying himself while driving the Mover.
Tech: "Ha ha, yes!" As the Mover moves quickly through the crust, Tech gives it a few tight turns and the other Loonatics feel the pressure while Duck doesn't enjoy it.
Duck: "Quit doing that!"
Tech: "Don't worry. I've been working on my new Mobile Magma Mover for quite a while. Just needed an excuse to take it for a spin. Ha ha, good thing I got almost all the kinks worked out."
Duck: "Almost? That sure is satisfying." Duck sarcastically says. Then the Mover comes into an open space underground.
Lexi: "Guys look!" Lexi points out several buildings that were pushed underground but were now upside down.
Duck: "Is it my stomach or is the city upside down?"
Rev: "It's the latter but glad it's not the stomach."
Ace: "So that's where the buildings went. Won't be easy getting them back up."
Tech: "Hang on. Going down." Tech pilots the Mover into a wall of crust and goes through and the team continue their journey underground.
Duck: "And we're how many miles beneath the Earth's crust?" Duck says worryingly.
Rip: "I'm getting a feeling this is like a Journey to the Center of the Earth."
Tech: "Not to worry. This things built with ultra titanium double shielding. Trust me, nothing can stop us." Almost as soon as Tech finishes, the Mover suddenly stops. The sudden stop pushes the team forward in their seats.
Duck: What was that?"
Ace: "A lot of nothing."
Rip: "What happened, Tech?" Tech tries to move the Mover with the controls, but no moving.
Tech: "I don't understand. This baby should be able to move through any kind of rock." Then Lexi sees something moving outside the dome of the cockpit.
Lexi: "And what if the rock smashed back?" Lexi says with a hint of fear. Tech gives a nervous cry as he sees numerous rock giants form outside.
Ace: "Tech, get us out of here!" Tech tries again but nothing.
Tech: "That sudden stop must have short circuited the engine." Several rock giants surround the Mover.
Ace: "Tech, can you try reversing us out of this hole?"
Duck: "Yeah. As in "Back up now!"." Tech tries to reverse but still nothing.
Tech: "Well, I would if I could."
Duck: "No reverse?"
Then, two giant rock claws burst into the cockpit and grab Rip and Lexi and pull them out.
Rip: "Hey, guys-"
Lexi: "A little help?"
Ace: "They've got Lexi and Rip!" Ace opens the door and sees the two rock giants spit up with their captives. "Let's rock!" Duck goes for Lexi, and Rev goes for Rip.
Lexi: "Hey! Stop, Rockzilla!" She struggles to get free, but the grip is too tight. Then Duck teleports in front of them and fires several fireballs at the giant and frees Lexi. "Thanks, Duck!"
Duck: "Let's go!" The giant raises it's fist to strike Duck who teleports next to it. "Ha missed me!" The giant misses again. "Missed again!" The giant misses once again. "Ha! Strike three! Yer Out!"
The other giant that took Rip still moves away.
Rip: "Let go, you walking hunk of rock!" He can't use his powers because of the grip. Then Rev appears and charges into the giant, causing it to drop Rip and he lands on his feet.
Rev: "You okay, Rip?"
Rip: "I'm fine. Thanks, Rev. Let's go!"
Two giants go after Slam. He jumps and knocks one down with ease. He turns to the other one and turns his lower body into a twister to give him more strength to match the giants. The giant thrusts both of it's fists at Slam who grabs them and throws the giant on top of the other one with ease. He cleans the dust of his hands. Meanwhile, Rev uses his speed to attract a group of giants to him.
Rev: "Excuse me. Hi would you come this way please? Thanks so much! And how about you, rock? Come over here as well. That's right!" The giants run towards Rev who stops in a clearing.
Then another giant, with scarlet color scheme, comes through the wall behind Slam. He activates his powers and throws himself into the giant, the force throwing them both through the wall into another clearing. Duck takes out his giant with several more fire blasts. Meanwhile, Rev watches as 5 of the giants he taunted quickly surround him.
Rev: "Gather around, guys. I know this is sudden and I'm sure you're wondering why I called this meeting." They all jump together towards Rev who speeds away and they collide with each other, destroying themselves. "That's why!" Rip focuses on the other 5 who quickly surround him.
Rip: "Question for you guys. What's it called when you knock down all bowling pins at once?" He uses his powers to drop 5 stalactites on each of the giants, destroying them. "A strike!"
Duck: "Hey Lex? You're up!" Duck informs Lexi as another giant appears. It attacks Lexi, but she jumps out of the way.
Lexi: "Don't you guys ever lighten up?" She taunts. The giant rips of a piece of a stalactite and throws it at Lexi. "Guess not!" Lexi blasts it with her powers.
Ace is blasting another giant with his laser eyes as Rev and Rip join him and take out all the other giants around him.
Ace: "Fast work, guys! I'm going after Slam! Rev, go help Lexi and Duck! And Rip, see if you can help Tech get the Mover moving again!" The teammates head off on their respective duties. Rip enters the Mover.
Rip: "How's the Mover, Tech?"
Tech: "The engines are short circuited. It'll take some time to fix it. Knowing how good you fix things, this'll go faster."
Rip: "No problem." With that, Rip and Tech begin repairs.
Slam is fighting against his giant that seems to hold its own. It knocks Slam spinning into a wall and it throws itself into him. It then grabs Slam and puts him in a bear hug. Lexi meanwhile is still fighting hers.
Lexi: "You are really getting on my nerves!" She backs into a wall with the giant right in front of her staring down. "And you don't want to see me mad!" The giant prepares to strike, but Lexi uses her sonic powers to drop a ton of rock on the giant, crushing it. "I warned you!" She victoriously gloats as she acrobatically dodges the spare rubble and Duck teleports next to her.
Duck: "You tell him, sister!"
Slam breaks out of the bear hug and rips the arm off of the giant and used to strike the giant, throwing it it across the ground into the wall. Slam gives a taunting laugh and the giant gets up and presses it's shoulder into the wall and it gives off a green glow. Slam gives an audible "uh oh" as the giant pulls out with a new arm and charges Slam. It manages to gain the upper hand and has Slam in it's clutches. Then Ace appears.
Ace: "Yo! What's up, rock? Drop the Devil and back away!" Taking advantage of the distraction, Slam breaks free. The giant throws a rock at Ace who blasts it with his laser eyes and he kicks another rock the giant throws. The giant starts throwing rocks at Slam and throws him over the edge of a ledge down a cliff. "SLAM!" Ace launches a full out attack on the giant with some anger in it and eventually knocks the giant over the cliff. He looks down and see's the destroyed giant move a little. "Oh, man." Ace realizes the giant fell on Slam. Slam climbs out confused. "Hey, Slam! You okay? Sorry about that whole dropping a rock monster thing on ya buddy!"
Tech and Rip manage to fix the cockpit dome.
Rip: "I'll see what I can do about the engines!"
Tech: "Alright. I'll see what I can found about these rock giants!"
Meanwhile, Lexi and Duck are fighting two more giants.
Lexi: "Duck, any sign of Dr. Dare?" She blasts her giant to bits.
Duck: "No but- Hey!" His giant grabs him and he teleports away. The giant opens it's palm revealing a huge fireball that explodes and destroys the giant. "Wow! I even impress myself. I gotta remember how to do that." Then another giants approaches him. Ace calls Tech.
Ace: "Yo, Tech! What have you got?" Tech is analyzing the giants from a console in the Mover.
Tech: "My scanners are picking up a strange energy field around them. There's a high probability that they're being controlled by the power of the Jade Serpent Crystal."
Ace: "The hot issue isn't how they're working! It's how we're gonna beat 'em! We gotta level the playing field! Tech, Rip! Anyway you guys can jumpstart that thing?"
Rip: "Seems like that's the only solution." Rip pushes button that raises a maintenance platform towards a huge power outlet on the roof. Tech jumps on it and opens the outlet that glows with green energy.
Tech: "This should work. If we can just reroute the power to the main thrusters"
Rip grabs a large cable under the console connected to the engine and tries to plug it in, but it's not big enough. "Oh, for crying out loud!" He tried to extend it big enough. "Come on!" But it's still not long enough.
Tech: "Oh, fine." Tech takes the cable and puts his ears into the outlet and his electrocuted with green energy, giving a painful cry. The light causes Rip to cover his eyes. When the light dies down, Tech is left a smoldering husk and regenerates with his molecular reconstruction power. He's still smoldering a little.
Rip: "You okay, Tech?"
Tech: "I'm fine, thanks. Oh, there's gotta be an easier way to be a hero."
Rip: "My thoughts exactly." Tech sit's in the driver's seat and activates the Mover. The drill speeds up and the engines fire up. "Boom baby!" Rip cheers. The Mover moves forward, destroying the giants.
Tech: "Alright, rock on!" Tech cheers as destroys all the giants with the mover.
Tech/Rip: "Yeah!" They cheer and hi five.
The team minus Tech meet outside next to the Mover.
Lexi: "So what were those things?"
Duck: "Reminds me of some of those guys who keep calling you. Except the rocks have more personality." Lexi gives Duck a blast to his butt with a smile. "Ow! Watch the feathers!"
Ace: "Those rock guys are the security guards. Which means we must be getting close to Dare's lair." Then all of a sudden, everything starts to rumble and the buildings above them start to sink closer and Dr. Dare calls out.
Dare: "Oh, you're not close. You're already here. Just in time to see the power of the Jade Serpent turn Acmetropolis upside down!" The Loonatics look on in shock as the buildings get closer while Ace calls Tech.
Ace: "Tech, what's going on?"
Tech: "I told you he was a crackpot. Let's get going!"
Before the team can enter the Mover, Dare appears from under the ground in front of them, sitting on a throne-like platform of rock with consoles in rock form that slowly rises. In his hand is his staff glowing with green energy from the Crystal.
Dare: "I hope you enjoyed your little visit down here. Because it is now your permanent residence! In fact, all of Acmetropolis will reside underground and I will live in peace on the SURFACE!"
Ace: "Are you kidding me, Doc? That's gotta be the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard!"
Dare: "You won't be laughing when you're buried in stone, bunny! Pretty soon, no one will stop me, not even you!"
Rip: "Yeah, doc? We dare you to try and stop us!" Rip jokingly challenges Dare.
Dare: "Oh ha ha ahahahaha, with pleasure, bird!" Dare raises his staff and a blinding flash of green energy causes the Loonatics to cover their eyes. The ceiling starts to crumble.
Ace: "Take cover! Into the Mover!" The team runs into the Mover while Dare's platform rises above to the surface.
Dare: "Sayonara, Loonatics! I dare you to try and make it to my new home! Hahahahahahahahah!" Dare victoriously declares and he rises to the surface while the Mover is buried in crust.
Some time later, Slam unleashes the full force of his power and removes all the crust burying the Mover. He rejoins the others.
Ace: "Nice work, Slam! Alright, we gotta get back up to Acmetropolis before-" Zadavia appears on the main monitor in the Mover.
Zadavia: "Before there IS no Acmetropolis. Dr. Dare is continuing to turn the world inside out." She shows the damage Dare is causing. "You must hurry. If you do not do something quickly, this madman will bury us all." Zadavia then ends her transmission.
Ace: "Let's get this Mover moving before we lose power too!"
The team get in their seats and Tech drives the Mover all the way back up to the surface. The team exit.
Ace: "Nice driving, Tech! Looks like we're-" Ace sees the devastation. "A little late." All around, the team see's mostly a barren wasteland except for a few buildings still on the surface with a few people who managed to stay on the surface but hat saddened expressions.
Lexi: "It's Acmetropolis..."
Rip: "What's left of it."
Duck: "Talk about an extreme makeover."
In the distance, a giant castle made entirely of rock, sits as a place of absolute with a glowing green orb above it.
Tech: "Dare's using the Jade Serpent to turn our world inside out! So we gotta use that gem to reverse it!" The Loonatics minus Rev get on motor bikes and drive up to the castle.
Ace: "I couldn't have said it better myself!" Rev easily flies past the others and gets there first.
Rev: "Excuse me. Coming through. I'll just wait for you at the top. No rush. How long will it take you to get to the top? Man, you guys are slow!"
The team arrive at the top and proceed towards the entrance as another group of Dare's bodyguard form in front of them.
Ace: "Aw great! It's the rock kets again gang! Slam, teach 'em how to twist!" Slam starts spinning and throws a punch into one of the giants. It penetrates, but as it does his hand gets stuck and the giant's color turns completely brown.
Lexi: "Sand?"
Rip: "Tiniest rocks of all. Get stuck in too many, hard to get loose."
Ace: "Who knew? Looks like Dare upped the ante."
The giants raise there hands in front of them and gushing winds of sand start blowing the Loonatics back who have to cover their eyes from the sand while screaming in pain. Slam manages to suplex the giant and get free.
Ace: "Slam!" Ace cries out as the Loonatics are thrown off the edge by the sand. Slam flies down and catches the team in his twister and flies them back up to the platform. As they land, Lexi moves forward.
Lexi: "Oh, it's on now!" She fires a powerful sonic blast that knocks all the sand giants off the edge and they break apart upon hitting the ground.
Ace: "Nice blastin', Lexi!" The Loonatics charge into the castle. "Time to bring that Crystal down!" The team enters the main room with the Crystal, but find no sign of Dare. The color of the Crystal is so bright, it covers the entire room in a bright shade of green and Lexi's hair turns a silver color.
Lexi: "Whoa. Looks like we're in Oz."
Ace: "There's that Jade nugget that's been causing all the trouble." Ace points out the Crystal floating in a machine. Duck teleports next to it.
Duck: "So, how do we reverse this thing?" The others gather around the machine.
Tech: "Well, it's off the top of my head, but I say you can do it with a quanti amplified charge of intense electromagnetic radiation."
Ace: "So, you mean light?"
Tech: "You make it sound so boring."
Rip: "It is when no one is as smart as you, Tech." Then Dare appears on his throne.
Dare: "The Loona-pests!" I though I buried you all down below!"
Lexi: "Haven't you heard? Down is the new up!"
Ace: "Yeah, we would have called first, but you were unlisted."
Rip: "Well, Dare, we beat your dare and here we are in your new lair." Rip jokingly declares.
Duck: "And now we're gonna put a stop to your insidious plan stone cold!" Dare gives an amusing chuckle.
Dare: "Stones are my domain, duck! But I still have a chance to beat YOUR dare, bird, and stop you from stopping me! And I can't think of a better way than having you join my little rock group." Dare moves his prosthetic hand over all the different colored crystals on his console, turning them all green. With that, the Jade Serpent glows brighter and, with out the Loonatics noticing, seven rays of green shoot out and hit the ground under each Loonatic. A green dragon snake like apparition rises and twists around each Loonatic. As it rises, they're slowly covered in a hard substance and unable to move.
Ace: "Hey! What's with the rock candy?"
Dare: "You'll become my own personal statues. A commemorative of what once was, not that I'm paying tribute to you!"
With just their heads uncovered, the Loonatics, unable to use most of their powers, are about to become statues.
Tech: "Ace! If we don't shut down that machine, the entire planet is gonna-" Tech is cut off as his mouth is wrapped shut in the substance. Ace slowly moves his head and fires a laser blast that ricochets off the wall and into the crystal.
Dare: "My lovely Jade Crystal! No!" The substance around the Loonatics breaks away, freeing them. "You'll never catch me!" Dare runs away.
Lexi: "Hit it, Ace! Maneuver 29!" Ace give Lexi a boost for a large acrobatic jump. Lexi lands in front of Dare. "OK, Dare, let me help you crawl back under the rock where you came from!" Lexi kicks Dare back and down to the front of the steps.
Ace draws his sword and engages Dare and his staff. Dare kicks Ace back, Ace jumps back, brings his sword down on Dare's staff hard and does a quick spin kick that knocks Dare down.
Dare: "Power of the Crystal, be mine!" Dare channels the power of the Crystal into his staff and fires a beam at Ace, who ducks and uses his sword to deflect the beam off a stalactite and into Dare, who gives an audible cry as his body is turned to stone from the ray. The team gather around in front of their defeated foe.
Rip: "Well, that's two dares we win today!"
Ace: "And two that Dr. Dare lost! What a stiff!"
The team gathers on the top of Dare's throne and Tech is studying the controls.
Ace: "Well, we got the crystal. You think we can reverse it?"
Tech: ""We?" What's with the "we"? Yes, I can reverse it." Tech runs his hand over the crystals, causing them to glow a bright shade of blue and everything starts to rumble. The Jade Serpent shoots out several rays that grow to spread all over the planet, reversing the damage Dare caused and bringing all of Acemtropolis back to what it was before.
Rev: "Good job, Tech man! You are so smart! I wish I was half as smart as you. I really look up to you. I really do. I wouldn't really want to stay in a lab as much as you, but kudos on a job well done!" The team look from the edge of the castle as Acmetropolis is brought back.
Duck: "Hey look! I think I see New Chinatown! Egg-rolls on me, Slam!"
Slam: "Egg-roll, egg-roll, egg-roll YES!" Slam cheerfully declares.
Back at HQ, the Loonatics are preparing for a party with a banquet of food given to them from a grateful Acmetropolis.
Lexi: "We should save New Chinatown from destruction more often. A year's worth of free takeout, excellent!" Then Zadavia appears on the big screen TV.
Zadavia: "The calls of thanks are still coming in. I also wanted you to know that Dr. Dare is enjoying his new life as a statue in Acmetropolis Park."
Ace: "I'm sure the pigeons are thrilled."
Rip: "Yeah, Dare would certainly rock their world." The Loonatics laugh.
Zadavia: "And we're receiving reports from all over the world that things are returning to normal."
Ace: "Hey uh, you sure you don't want to join us in our celebration, Zadavia?"
Zadavia: "Hmhmhmhmhm, it is so sweet of you to include me. And as it happens, I am hungry." Duck is overjoyed.
Duck: "Finally, some real face time with the boss lady! We can discuss some new costumes, a new dental plan, or a personal biographer?"
Zadavia: "But alas, I have other commitments. Perhaps another time. Enjoy the party, Loonatics. You certainly deserve it. Zadavia out." And Zadavia ends her transmission.
Duck: "Was is something I said?"
Ace: "Oh, you Duck? Nah. When have you ever said the wrong thing? Alright, Loonatics, let's eat!"

Every battle seems to be tougher for our heroes, but every time, they come out on top and save Acmetropolis from disaster.
