Between The World Is My Circus and Stop The World I Want To Get Off
In the days since the Space Circus was destroyed, the Loonatics have enjoyed a well-earned rest. They have had numerous of movie and tv show nights that was some of the best they ever had. Aside from that, Rev has been helping Rip with his new speed abilities after they were awakened because of the Ringmaster's DNA Scrambler. As another party night is about to begin, the Loonatics are short of two road runners.
"Where's Rev and Rip?" Slam asks.
"They're still out working on Rip's new speed." Lexi says.
"Well, they better hurry. They'll miss all the fun." Duck says.
"They'll make it. Never known them to be late for a party night." Tech says.
"Yeah. They have plenty of time left." Ace says.
At Acmetropolis Bay, Rev and Rip are standing at the edge of the water.
"Ready for one last lap across the bay, Rip?" Rev asks.
"Yep. I got this." Rip says.
They begin their lap and run across the surface of the water. For Rip, it was a wonder. Ever since he got super speed, his spirits got a much needed lift now that he can run like a real road runner. As they ran side by side, Rev and Rip held hands.
"Thanks for all the help, bro." Rip says.
"Aw, don't mention it, little bro." Rev says. "I'm always there for you."
"Who would have thought that all I needed to have your speed was your DNA?"
"None of us did. But, I'm glad we found out eventually and now you can run like I can."
Then the brothers reach the end of the bay. Neither of them was out of breath.
"That concludes training." Rev says. "Got the hang of it, Rip?"
"Sure do." Rip answers.
They then check their clocks as a storm approaches.
"Almost time for party night." Rip says.
"Race ya?" Rev challenges.
"You're on." Rip accepts.
They fist bump and race to Loonatics HQ. They make it with 5 minutes to spare.
The other Loonatics had dressed up for party night and got the snacks and drinks ready as the brothers arrive.
"We're back." The brothers announce.
"Just in time." Ace says. "How was it?"
"Perfect." Rip answers.
The brothers race into their rooms and change in less than 5 seconds and join the others as it begins to rain outside.
They begin with the movie RoboCop and continue with many classics from the 80's all through the evening and night.
