Chapter 33: It's a Jungle out here!
"We need to hurry, that kind of fleet will definitely cause a lot of problems for any city in its path," said Naruto as he grinded along a long green ivy as a makeshift rail with Nicole and Lilac doing the same on two more ivies beside him before jumping off at the end to land on the ground while standing in what appears to be a lush rainforest.
"We know, though I'm wondering where we are now?" asked Lilac.
"It appears that we're in Frog Forest, it's been said that the Giant Frogs that can be found within this place have the power to create rain and make plants grow faster around here," said Nicole.
Lilac was surprised by the information "That explains why the plant life around here are so big,"
"Man, Chief Toad and the others would have considered a place like this one a hot vacation spot," Naruto smiled in nostalgia of his friends back in his home dimension.
"But I'm also multiple signatures of Eggman's robots in the area," said Nicole to which Naruto frowned at.
"I may not know why he put them here in the forest, but they definitely don't belong here. Let's drive them out while we make our way through," said Naruto with Nicole and Lilac nodding in agreement before taking off with great speed.

The trio dashed along the path ahead of them and engaged two Egg Pawns with rocket launchers to which Lilac used her Dragon Swoop attack to take them down in Speed formation, they leapt up to the next ledge and took out another Egg Pawn before boosting from a dash panel to dash through a downward guiding loop and boosted off another dash panel to go through a series of shuttle loops with the third having a gap at the top but they passed through it regardless before launching off a dash ramp to land in the next area. The team moved on and climbed up the ledges with green circular branches to serve as platforms till they got to the top where there was a giant frog sitting there, it was startled by their presence and started croaking then it started to rain around them as yellow circular tree branches and bulbous fruit grew rapidly before hopping away.
"Wow, those frogs really have an influence on the nature here," said Naruto in wonder.
"This world is getting more interesting by the minute," said Kurama.
"This is amazing," said Lilac.
"It appears we can advance further now," Nicole pointed out to the others.
The team made use of the large fruits to bounce up to the ivy and were soon grinding along it to be sent spiraling around the giant palm trees over the forest below as the rain stopped then leapt of the edge with Lilac grabbing on to a vine with the rest grabbing each other's legs before swinging from one vine to another to land before a giant tree with a frog sitting in front of it. The frog summoned another rain to make giant mushrooms on the side of the tree grow before hopping away, Nicole took the lead in Flight formation and used the mushrooms to bounce to the top of the tree then she carried them into the air and boosted through a dash ring to propel them towards a large cluster of green platforms atop the trees. The Holo-lynx carefully navigated the team through to the last platform and bounced off a red fruit to ascend to the upper level where there is a power gong, they switched to Power formation for Naruto to strike it and were catapulted into the air and landed onto the next pathway.
Naruto had Nicole and Lilac line up side by side as they dashed down the hill at high-speed before boosting off a dash panel to go through a giant three-way loop and exiting it to change into Speed formation as Lilac took the lead and boosted off a dash panel to zip through a double shuttle loop then running along the rolling hills to launch off a dash ramp in the center over a frog to have it summon rain again. They landed on the ground and boosted off a dash panel to run up an upward path and flip off at the top, it looked like they were about to drop down to the pit when a yellow circular plant quickly bloomed for them to land on safely. The team moved on ahead and leapt off through a dash ring to propel themselves to the next platform and bounced off a wide spring to reach the ledge above.
There were more clusters of platforms ahead so the trio switched to Flight formation for Nicole to help guide them through it and avoid falling to the bottom below with the rain still active to make more circular tree branches to grow. Nicole bounced off a fruit to launch them to a ledge above and carried the team into the air with her digital wings to boost through a dash ring and land on a platform where they saw a large flower with six white horizontal petals and a thin, leafless plant stem with a triangular recess in the middle.
"What kind of flower is this?" asked Lilac confusedly.
"According this flower is quite special in this forest, its large head is able to twist around itself without snapping off so people of the past would it along with strong wind currents to fly," said Nicole.
"A natural helicopter eh? Then let's use it, either Lilac-chan and I can produce the necessary wind for it," said Naruto excitedly.
"Okay then, I'll give it a whirl," said Lilac.
She used her Dragon Typhoon to produce a swirling gust of wind towards the flower to make it spinning quickly and rise to the air, Lilac jumped up grab onto the triangular recess with the others grabbing onto her legs. The flower carried the team high into the air and maneuvered itself around the area before hovering over a hollow hole of a giant tree, the trio dropped through the hole to land on the ground before launching out of it into the air through a combo of a dash panel and a dash ramp then they landed on an ivy and began to grind along to the end where they jumped off to swing across a vine to land on a platform then they launched off a dash ramp to land in the next area.
They encountered a group of Egg pawns being led by a golden variation which happen to be guarding a caged frog much to the team's anger, Lilac used her Dragon Typhoon to disarm the robots of their shields then used Dragon Swoop to take out one of the robots then fired a Water Cannon to destroy the other, they climbed to the upper ledge with Lilac using her Dragon Cyclone to strike repeatedly and destroying the golden Egg Pawn. The cage was unlocked to free the frog which summoned rain to make the trees ahead of them to grow tall and produce circular tree branches ahead of them to cross over the bottomless pit below before hopping away. The team switched to Flight formation for Nicole to carry them to the top of the tree nearest to them then used digital flight to carry them from one tree to another till they landed on a platform with a frog on it to summon another rain and make another tree grow for them to use to cross over to the next platform where they came across another flower.
"Hey look, it's another one of those flowers," said Naruto.
"Shall we use it to fly again?" asked Nicole.
"I think so, since we can't go any further now," said Lilac, then she used the Dragon Typhoon to stir up the wind for the flower to rise then they grabbed on to fly into the air and were moving around one of the humongous mushrooms "Amazing, look at the size of them!"
"I've met my share of giant plants back where I came from but these forest easily trumps it," said Naruto, thinking about the Forest of Death when he and Team 7 when they were taking on the Chuunin exams.
"I'm sure that the frogs were the main reason for such growth," said Nicole.
The flower weaved around the giant ivy intertwined with the massive mushroom until it hovered over a platform for the team to drop onto and encounter a frog which summoned a rain to make the yellow fruit grow out from the sides of the mushroom before hopping away. The team switched to Flight formation for Nicole to bounce them off the fruits and swing along the vines ahead to land on the next platform and used Thunder Shoot to take out a lone Egg pawn. Lilac took the lead in Speed formation in order to use the light dash to travel along a trail of rings and cross over a gap to the other side where there was a power gong for Naruto to use to launch them in Power formation towards the next pathway.
Naruto dashed down the slope at high-speed with Nicole and Lilac by his sides as they boosted off a dash panel to speed through a double giant three-way shuttle loop then exited to go round a curve and boosted through another dash panel to get through a triple shuttle loop with the third having a gap but they went through and bounced of a spring at the end of the pathway. Naruto spotted a couple of Egg pawns patrolling a tree below, so he used the Foxfire Slingshot to launch Nicole and Lilac as blue fiery cannonballs to take out two then he formed a Rasengan to destroy a third before landing on the ground. The team bounced off a red fruit to land at the top of a tree to find a trio of Egg pawns guarding a caged frog, an annoyed Naruto used the Tailed Flail to smash through the robots' shields before bludgeoning them to the ground and unlocking the cage to release the frog which summoned another rain before hopping away.
"The ivy over there keeps growing because of the rain, let's try grinding on it," said Nicole.
"Good idea Nicole-chan, let's go for it,"
The trio hopped onto the ivy and proceeded to grind along it with the end constantly growing rapidly ahead of them as the team swiveled around the giant palm trees several times before descending to safer grounds for them to jump off to with the rain stopping.

Naruto dusted his hands with a smirk "Well that takes care of those hunks of metal,"
"Yeah, the frogs won't be harmed anymore," said Lilac in agreement.
"You're right…," Nicole projected a holoscreen before taking a look at the radar to see blinking red dots on the map "But I'm detecting more robots belonging to Eggman deeper within from here,"
"I see…might as well take them out too, but I need to do something first," Naruto created a shadow clone which sat cross-legged on the ground and meditated much to the confusion of the girls "Alright, let's go!"
"Naruto, what's that all about?" asked Lilac as she ran next to him.
"I'm having my clone prep up a powerup for me to use once we go in deep," Naruto responded.
"Could it be that you intend to use that mode?" asked Nicole and got a wink in response from the vulpine ninja as they leapt of the forest's canopy and into the jungle below.

The team soon landed on the pathway of a swampy area with numerous water lilies and mushrooms everywhere before advancing onwards and encountered an Egg Flapper dropping bombs but Nicole quickly destroyed it with Thunder Shoot in Flight formation before continuing along the pathway into a clearing where something dropped from above before them. it resembles an Egg pawn but three times bigger and apparently heavier with purple armor and a round torso with a black lower half and a thick collar around their neck, it also have two red bolts on their underbelly and large cup-shaped shoulders with round red spikes. They also possess large hands and feet, yet thin and gray upper arms and thighs, with red bands around their ankles and wrists, and purple armor around their forearms and lower legs. What the team took notice of the most was the large sledgehammer that it carries in its hands.
"Please be careful, it appears to be durable to most of our attacks," said Nicole in caution.
"Then how can we destroy it?" asked Lilac then she quickly jumped to the side to avoid getting hit by the hammer being swung at her.
"I'll take care of it, never thought that I would have to use this so soon," Naruto formed a handsign then he was engulfed in a puff of smoke before fading to reveal him with orange pigmentation around the eyes which show yellow toad-like irises and he was wearing his short sleeved red coat with a black flame pattern around the hem "Welcoming back the Sage Mode, here I come!" he dashed towards the robot and nimbly sidestepped the swing then reached out to grab the hammer and wrench it from the robots grip as he proceeded to bash it repeatedly until it fell to the ground and laid there nonfunctional.
"What happened to you Naruto?" asked Lilac in surprise at what he just did.
"This is my Sage Mode," Naruto replied.
"Sage Mode?"
"It is a state which can only be accessed by blending nature's energy with my chakra, it allows me to tap into the natural source of the world which enhances my overall performance by a lot and that's putting it lightly,"
"This will definitely help us against those Egg Hammers along the way," said Nicole.
The trio resumed their trek and leapt along the large mushrooms growing out of the swamps before grabbing a vine to up and bounce off a red fruit to reach to the upper ledge, they grinded along a long ivy to land in the next area where they encountered a black frog which summoned rain but it caused a tall tree nearby tree to shrivel up and die much to their surprise.
"What just happen? I thought that the frogs' rain made the plants grow," said Naruto with a small frown, he felt some of his nature energy being leeched out but he was quick to replenish it.
"I also read that there are black frogs in the jungle with the power to summon rain that kills nearby plantlife," Nicole explained.
"Why would it do that?" asked Lilac.
"We can think about that later, best to keep moving and watch out for more of these black frogs," said Naruto.
The team went past the frog and move along the pathway and bounced up a wide spring to reach up to a ledge where Nicole took the lead in Flight Formation to face an Egg Flapper which suddenly protruded red spikes to prevent her from using Thunder Shoot but she projected several Digital Spears and launched it to destroy the robot before carrying the team up the next two ledges ahead of them before changing to Speed Formation to move along the pathway quickly whilst Lilac used Water Cannon to bring down two Egg Flappers and finished them off with Dragon Swoop. The trio dashed along the pathway and went round an ascending spiral road before dashing through a downhill shuttle loop and launched off a dash ramp to land on a hanging ivy and grinded along it the next clearing to encounter another black frog.
The amphibian saw them and summoned another rain which caused the giant fruit hanging overhead to drop off the bounce towards them, Naruto and the others were quick to evade the fruits and continue up the path and ran into a Klagen with Lilac using the Dragon Swoop to destroy it to the end of the pathway before the green circular branches ahead. Nicole took carried the others along the branches in Flight formation to the next ledge and continued to destroy any Egg flappers inbound in their ascent with use of the vines and bouncy fruits until Lilac retook the lead in Speed formation to bounce off several springs and landing on a platforms with vines ahead of them, they went on ahead to swing along to the other side where there was an Egg Hammer standing next to a caged green frog.
The team switched to Power formation with Naruto dashing towards the giant robot and evaded the swing of the hammer to slam a hook to the torso then he jumped into the air for a roundhouse kick to the head before somersaulting to perform a double hammer punch to cave it in to defeat the Egg Hammer. The freed frog summoned a rain before hopping into the swamp as the trio switched to Speed formation before running down the path at high-speed as they boosted off a dash panel to run down a spiral road then through a shuttle loop to grinding along a rapidly growing ivy across the swampy waters to bounce off a spring atop a mushroom over a black frog to summon a rain which caused fruits ahead to tumble down and actually destroy the Egg Flappers in their path.
"HAHAHAHA, Eggman's gonna be embarrassed when he finds out that his robots can be destroyed by giant fruits!" Naruto laughed out loud.
"So true, I can imagine it," Nicole giggled with Lilac feeling the same way.
The team went up to the top of the slope and came across one of those large flowers, Lilac use her Dragon Typhoon to the stir up the winds before all grabbed on for it to carry them over the swampy waters then dropping them down on the next area. They proceeded through the pathway with Lilac destroying a Klagen with an Aqua Vortex Kick then shooting down an Egg Flapper to unlock a cage which had a red fruit within it for them to bounce off to reach up to an upper ledge, they spend through a road spiraling down a giant tree before entering a cave where two Egg Hammers stood guard before a cage.
"Taking them on even in Power formation might take too long, let's destroy them with a Team Blast!" said Naruto.
"Then we're ready to go!" said Lilac with Nicole nodding in agreement "Let's do it, Cyclonic Triplex!"
"Water Spinjitzu!" Lilac started spinning rapidly as a tornado of water formed around her "Wind Spinjitzu!" Naruto also started spinning whilst summoning a vortex of wind around him as well "Lightning Spinjitzu!" Nicole was the last to begun spinning while surrounded by arcs of electricity. The trio proceeded to move around randomly in a pinball like fashion all the while striking and ricocheting off the Egg Hammers multiple times for a bit before converging to the center and fusing together to form a supertwister which pulled in all of the Badniks within range and destroyed them from within itself. The trio disengaged to end the technique for the supertwister to dissipate with the robots completely destroyed.
"Well that takes care of them, let's get a move on," said Lilac.
The trio bounced of a red fruit to ascend through an opening above and landing on the next pathway before dashing along to go through an upward spiral road and then a shuttle loop to bounce off a wide spring to reach the ledge above, they went past a green frog to summon a rain and make tall trees grow and bear large fruits then they dropped down to run into a black frog whose rain made the fruits drop towards them. Naruto quickly kicked the fruits away from the others as they advanced and used the mushroom to get across the swamp and towards an approaching Egg Hammer, Naruto took the lead in Power Formation as he created a shadow clone to run alongside him and create a large blue spiraling sphere in hand before lunging at the robot "Sage Art Giant Rasengan!" he rammed the jutsu into the robot to completely shred it into pieces and form a crater to the ground.
They continued on ahead to reach up to higher ground to come upon a large for Lilac to use her Dragon Typhoon and carry them over the swamp and through a large hollow tree to emerge out the other side and landing in the next area. An Egg Hammer attacked with its weapon only for Naruto to palm it to the side then he leapt with a fist reared back to punch cleanly through the robot's head to take it though it led to him losing his Sage Mode. The team took the right path towards where green circular branches grew out the sides so Nicole helped guide the others in Flight formation to climb upwards to the next ledge and ran into a Klagen for it to be destroyed with Thunder Shoot, they met a frog to summon a rain then bounced off an uncaged fruit to get high into the air and land atop a growing ivy to grind along towards the next platform
The trio destroyed a Klagen and Egg Flapper to unlock a cage holding a green frog to have it summon another rain and make a tree grow quickly with yellow circular platform, they climbed to the top and bounced off a yellow fruit to land on a narrow rock ledge where there was a power gong placed. Naruto used it to catapult to the upper level where they attempted to climb up another tree but there was a black frog nearby to shrivel it up with its rain much to their annoyance so they sought another route and took out a nearby Klagen to unlock a cage with a ball switch inside it. They activated the switch to make a trail of rings appear so Lilac used the Light Dash to follow the trail and reach the upper pathway for them to advance. The team went up the sloped path to the top and encountered a green frog to summon a rain and make the ivy ahead grow rapidly for the team to grind along then they jumped off to land on another to descend to the ground and launched off a dash panel onto a swampy area surrounded by black frogs which began to summon rain.
"Those black frogs seem to be trying to take us down to the swamp," said Nicole.
"I think we should get out of here before that happens," said Lilac, they bounced off a spring and grabbed onto a vine and proceeded to swing across. Suddenly there was a loud splash and they looked back only for their eyes to widen in terror at the sight of a giant alligator which is chomping towards them!
"Lilac-chan swing for our lives or we're gator lunch!" Naruto screamed.
"I'm on it!" Lilac began swinging from one vine to another as fast as she could across the swamp to get ahead of the alligator which is hot on their tail and biting through anything that got in its way, but eventually Lilac was able to swing them safely away to landing on an upper ledge where the alligator won't be able to reach them.

"Phew, that was too close for comfort if you asked me," said Naruto with a look of relief.
"I'm rather glad that we were able to make it out of there thanks to Lilac," said Nicole.
"You're right about that, thanks for getting us out of there,"
Lilac blushed from the thanks "I just did what I had to do,"
"Anyways let's catch a breather before we continue to make our way out of this forest,"
Getting nods of agreement from the others as they sat down to rest a bit, then they were setting off by running through the jungle for some time when Naruto suddenly skidded to a stop which caught the attention of the girls as they spoke out to him/
"What's the matter Naruto?" asked Nicole curiously.
"We're not alone," Naruto spoke then he sharply looked, the girls followed suit and saw three people looking down at them from a ledge overhead. One is a female Mobian bat, one is a bipedal robot, and the third is a black male hedgehog who looks just like Sonic except for the persona "Never thought I would see these three again,"
"Been wondering when we would run into any of them," said Kurama.
"You know those three?" asked Nicole.
"In a way yes, Rouge the Bat, E-123 Omega, and Shadow the Hedgehog," Naruto responded.
"Well what do we have here? What's a handsome fox and his friends doing in a place like this?" asked Rouge with a sultry look at Naruto, causing him to blush a bit and the others to glare at the bat for flirting with him.
"So you three were the ones making a ruckus around here?" Shadow was observing the trio with a calculative look in his eyes, normally he would ignore them but he can't help but notice that the fox seems to be emitting some sort of energy unknown to him plus he caught the brief look of recognition on the fox's face "Does the fox know something about me?"
"We're just making our way through the forest to catch up with Eggman and his fleet to stop him," said Lilac, causing the trio to become tense.
"Going after Eggman you say? That might be a problem for us," said Shadow.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Nicole confusedly.
"You see we too are after Eggman for our own reasons and I don't think we would like for you to get in our way," said Rouge.
"Sensors locked on Eggman, non-compliant intruders will be destroyed," said Omega with a clenched fist.
"They're rather different from our last encounter," said Kurama with a small frown.
"We have our own reasons too and we can't afford to be obstructed right now," said Lilac.
"Then I guess we'll just have to knock you three out," Shadow crossed his arms as he spoke.
"You heard him foxy, time for bed," said Rouge.
"Initiating battle mode," said Omega.
"What do we do?" asked Nicole.
"We've got no choice but to defend ourselves," Naruto took a combat stance as Shadow and the others leapt off the ledge to land on the ground to face them in battle.

Omega took aim at the trio and transformed his hands into Gatling guns before firing rapidly at them, Naruto activated his earth aspect and stomped the ground hard to make a huge solid earth wall rise to shield his team from the incoming projectiles.
"Lilac-chan, you go after Shadow while I take on Omega with Nicole-chan taking on Rouge!" said Naruto with the girls nodding in affirmation. They waited a bit for the bullets to stop firing then he brought the wall down as they dashed towards their selected targets with Naruto aiming for Omega who quickly reloaded his guns and fired once more, Naruto channeled chakra through his ECG-X gloves to create a pair of kunai which he used to rapidly deflect the incoming bullets as he drew closer "Terra Punch!" bits of stone rose from the ground and formed a gauntlet around his fist as he reared it back before punching Omega square in the torso to send him flying back. Omega activated his jet boosters to hover slightly in the air then he took aim and launched twin streams of flames with his flamethrowers, Naruto sidestepped and somersaulted to evade the flames quickly before switching to his fire aspect then proceeded to absorb the flames into his body "Firebird Missile!" he thrust his hands forward to launch a blast of fire in the form of a flaming phoenix, Omega switched to his Gatling guns to fire at the incoming projectile but was unable to destroy it and was knocked back from the impact.
"Reassessing target and switching combat payload," said Omega as he got back to his feet.
Lilac was taking on Shadow in a high-speed blitz with rapid punches and kicks before backing away from the other to catch a momentary breath. The dragoness saw Shadow curl up into a ball and started spinning rapidly while in place and released what he was about to do, she also curled into a ball while charging up her draconic energy then used Dragon Boost to launch herself like a comet with Shadow performing his spin dash and they clashed in the middle, struggling for dominance but got blown back from the clash of energies.
"Not bad, let's how you can handle this!" Shadow took out a green Chaos Emerald much to Lilac's surprise "Chaos Control!" he disappeared from her sight as she looked around for him then felt a painful impact from behind and turned around to see Shadow disappear again before getting hit again. Lilac's mind raced for a counter to this situation and came up with a plan.
"Dragon Typhoon!" Lilac spun rapidly like a top to create a cyclone around her, Shadow appeared to attack but he got caught in the wind and was sent swirling around in the wind. Lilac leapt after him while still spinning and prepared for an attack "Aqua Vortex Kick!" she manipulated the water to swirl around her right feet at the same time using the momentum from the spinning to slam a powerful roundhouse kick to send Shadow crashing hard to the ground before landing afterwards "I'm just getting started too!"
Nicole was rather preoccupied with evading the kicks thrown at her from Rouge and retaliating by firing blasts of data but her opponent was very quick to evade then snipe her with heart bombs, Nicole projected a large knight shield to defend against the bombs before activating her digital wings and took to the air where she projected several digital spears before launching them at her target. Rouge flapped her wings to take to the air and charge towards Nicole to engage her in close combat, Nicole projected a digital long sword and manipulated it without holding it to parry the incoming kicks before countering with strikes of her own.
"So where did you meet a handsome fox like him?" asked Rouge with a hint.
"What's it to you?" asked Nicole while frowning.
"Let's just say he's piqued my interest, and I would like to know on a…personal level,"
Nicole's face turned red at the implication and glared at the bat whilst projecting two more long swords to attack her "You stay away from him!"
"Ooooh, touchy aren't we?" said Rouge playfully before evading the swings from the swords.
Back with Naruto, he was using Shadow Dance to evade the explosive rounds which Omega was firing at him then he would retaliate by bringing out Peacekeeper and firing chakra bullets back at the robot with dodge rolls and somersaults "Firing all missiles!" Omega launched a salvo of drill-shaped missiles towards with little chance of escape but Naruto wasn't done as he dashed backwards and channeled a large amount of chakra into the rifle as he took aim "Chakra Blast Volley!" and pulled the trigger for the twin barrels to fire many chakra bullets towards the missiles to destroy them in midair, Naruto then switched to his air aspect "Aero Beast Swipe!" wind swirls around his free arm to form a large beast paw and swung at the Omega to send him flying before putting away the rifle.
"Better help out Lilac kit, she's having trouble with Shadow," said Kurama.
Naruto glanced to the side to see that his partner was right and quickly performed Shadow Step to appear before Lilac and intercept a kick from Shadow then pushed him away "Are you okay Lilac-chan?"
"I think so, he was tougher than I thought he would be," said Lilac with a small wince, soon Nicole landed next to the duo while Shadow regrouped with his team members.
"Same could be said for her, she's well-trained," said Nicole while glaring at Rouge with jealousy.
"I believe it's time to end this," Shadow brought out his green Chaos Emerald, Naruto's eyes widened in realization at what he was about to do as he channeled a mass amount of chakra through his ECG-X gloves and created an energy dome around himself and the others "Chaos Control!" Rouge landed atop Omega and lifted him into as the robot reconfigures his arms into laser cannons and fires giant purple laser beams from each of them while rotating his torso counter-clockwise.
Naruto gritted his teeth as he continued to maintain the energy shield against the attack with cracks appearing on it, but he was able to hold strong until it finally dissipated. Naruto panted a bit from slight exhaustion but still good to go, Nicole and Lilac checked to see if he was okay before snapping back into focus.
"Not bad, but now it's our turn! Let's do this!Light Speed Pixelized Outcry!"
Nicole hovered in the air with her data wings active, Naruto stood on her right and Lilac on her left, then she held her palms close together and began to focus a ton of energy into an orb while Naruto and Lilac took a three point stance with blue auras radiating from their bodies "TAKE OFF!" at Naruto's cry, they blasted off at high-speed to the point of appearing as comets with blue aura trailing behind them. the dual speedsters unleashed a barrage of strikes upon the team from every single direction in a pinball-like fashion and picking up even more speed, Nicole ascended to the sky and held a large blue sphere of data over her head "It's over!" she threw the sphere down to the ground which resulted in a large explosion and forcefully overriding the Omega's system to shutting down temporarily as she landed on the ground with Naruto and Lilac skidding backwards to stand beside her with the dust clearing to reveal Shadow and the others unconscious.

"Sorry about this, but we were forced to defend ourselves," Naruto apologetically.
"Well they asked for it," said Kurama.
"Well, not that sorry," thought Nicole and Lilac simultaneously when thinking about Rouge with a look of jealousy.
"We wasted a bit of time but we need to get a move on and catch up with Eggman's fleet,"
"I'm picking up multiple signals belonging to Eggman's robots to the north from the forest, that would be the next place for us to investigate," said Nicole.
"In that case, let's get moving!" said Naruto.
The trio took off with Nicole navigating them through towards their next destination, not knowing that someone had been watching them or in particular Naruto himself with a look of criticism.
"Could he be? But that clan and its members were supposed to be extinct, but I recognize that symbol from the archives. I must report this to the mistress, she'll need to know of their possible return," a black silhouette leapt out from behind a tree to inform its master of Naruto's presence in Mobius.
This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Naruto and the others have arrived at a forest which is heavily influenced with the power of the frogs residing within it as they go after the Egg Fleet. They cleared out the robots along the way but had to watch out for many obstructions like the black frogs and a giant alligator. The team ran into a group whom Naruto was more familiar with, but they had to battle Team Dark in order to get to Eggman. But it appears that someone is familiar with Naruto and the Yakan clan though the question is it on terms of friendliness or enmity?
