Chapter 34: Haunt another Night
"Nicole, are you sure that this is the right way?" asked Lilac unsurely.
She and the others had left the jungle for a while now and Nicole navigated them through two large wooden gates to enter the area of a large medieval castle filled with many towers under a large moon in the night sky. Lilac had been getting some strange vibes emitting from this place and wasn't feeling comfortable which she's sure that others are feeling the same way.
"It is, I'm locating several signatures belonging to Eggman's robots like before. But I'm getting some strange interference on my system," said Nicole with a small frown.
"I guess we need to enter the castle to find out what's going on," Lilac frowned a bit, there was something missing in this conversation then realized what is was…Naruto hadn't said a word ever since they got here. She turned to speak to the fox only to see him visibly shaking with knees knocking together and eyes widen in fear much to Lilac's surprise "Naruto, are you okay?"
Naruto jumped a bit from the question and turned to respond with a nervous smile "I-I-I-I-I'm doing okay, n-nothing for you t-to worry a-about,"
Lilac wasn't so easily convinced "Are you sure? I haven't seen you this scared before,"
"She's right, could have something to do with this place?" asked Nicole curiously.
"…not really," Naruto replied.
"We won't be staying long anyways, hopefully there won't be anything worrisome," said Nicole, making Naruto making him feel a bit at ease…for now.
"O-Okay let's just hurry up and find Eggman so we can get out of here," said Naruto "Please let there be no ghosts,"
"You got a long way to go," said Kurama.

The trio with a hesitant fox dashed along a descending spiraling pathway on the outside of a tall tower and reaching the bottom where they launched off a dash ramp to fly in the air to land before closed wooden doors being guarded by three Egg Pawns, they were about to attack them when something suddenly appeared from out of thin air before the team which surprised the two and terrified a third.
"Aaaaaahhhh! It's a ghost!" Naruto screamed at the sight of what appears to be an ethereal being with a jack-o-lantern for a head and a black cape. The pumpkin ghost cackled loudly at the team for some time before disappearing for the Egg pawns to attack them, Lilac quickly took the lead in Speed formation before using the Dragon Swoop Attack to take all three of them.
"Naruto, could it be that you're scared of ghosts?" asked Lilac, Naruto looked down at the ground feeling ashamed of himself "I guess that's why you weren't feeling so comfortable around here,"
"I've ran into ghosts a couple of times back home but I never liked being close to anything relating to ghosts," said Naruto quietly.
"We understand, we just need to quickly hurry through it like I said before while avoiding the ghosts now," said Nicole softly, Naruto smiled a bit at that.
"Thanks you two," said Naruto gratefully.
The team ventured through the now open doors into a small courtyard where another pumpkin ghost appeared but they quickly passed it to the end where they came across what appears to be a glowing mystical purple orb with white symbolic runes on it which rotating in midair above a pad. They touched the orb for it to release symbol particles from the pad and a bright flash of light in the surrounding then things went completely weird…the entire area practically turned upside down and they could even see the night sky and the moon below them as they landed on a pathway.
"What just happen?" asked Nicole confusedly.
"It's like the entire castle has flipped upside down, I've never seen anything like this!" said Lilac on shock.
"And this isn't any kind of illusion either, I'm using my Aura sight to check. Best we find another orb switch to reverse all this," said Naruto, getting nods of agreement from the girls.
The team switched to Flight formation for Nicole to carry the others up to a higher ledge where they encountered a pair of Egg Flappers equipped with searchlights so Nicole used Thunder Shoot to destroy them before moving onwards to the end of the pathway before a trail of rings so Lilac took the lead in Speed formation to use the Light Dash to travel along the rings through a large window of an upside down tower. There was an orb switch locked in a cage so they looked around and found the ball switch after destroying some nearby wooden crates then activated it to unlock the cage, they triggered the orb switch next for it to flip everything then land on the ground.
"Just like we thought, these orb switches have an influence here," said Nicole.
"Then we should keep an eye out for more of them," said Lilac.
The trio exited the tower and down a sloped pathway through a downhill shuttle loop to bounce off a wide spring to reach up to the next area, ahead they saw that the doors were so they sought out another path. Naruto found an opening by smashing through a couple of wooden crates blocking it for them to drop through. Naruto almost screamed at the sight of a pumpkin ghost but forced himself to ignore it before finding an orb switch for them to trigger and flip the area upside down as they landed on a rail and proceeded to grind along it through an inverse loop before jumping off at the end to bounce off a wide spring to ascend to the upper ledge to come across a new kind of robot. It looks similar to a red-colored Egg Pawn but with no legs. It wears a pointed hat and has a red skirt-like covering with colored tips resembling a robe in the place of legs, and it also carries a staff. Several Egg Pawns wielding lances teleported onto the platform to engage the group in combat.
"Be careful of the Egg Bishop as it will use magic to heal the others and can transform himself if flipped upside down," said Nicole in alert.
"You can leave them to me," said Naruto as he took the lead in Power formation for Lilac and Nicole to be wrapped in his tails while in their spinball forms then he targeted the Egg Bishop and struck it several times with his Tailed Flail attack to destroy before turning towards the Egg Pawns and taking them out with Foxfire Flail. The team changed to Flight formation for Nicole to use her Digital Wings to carry them over to the next platform, they moved to the edge when torches suddenly lit up before them. Naruto activated his Aura Sight for a closer look before calling out to the others "There's an invisible path running alongside the torches, we'll need to cross it to the other side," he navigated the team along the path to the next where an Egg Flapper was guarding a cage until Nicole destroyed it with Thunder Shoot to unlock the cage and activating it to make a long trail of rings appear.
"I'll take it from here," Lilac became the leader in Speed formation and performed the Light Dash to travel along the ring trail over to the next large platform with the rest soon following after. The trio had to carefully cross over the bottomless gaps via the smaller floating platforms to drop down to a lower platform and trigger an orb switch to revert the area back to normal and land at where they had started but now the doors are open. They proceeded through the door into another courtyard and were attacked by Egg Pawns so Lilac destroyed them quickly with her Dragon Swoop along with Dragon Cyclone for crowd control, the team climbed up the stairs ahead to take on a few more Egg Pans and an Egg Bishop before coming across a power gong. Naruto hit the gong in Power Formation for it to launch them into the air to bounce a diagonal to be sent even higher and land on the next pathway at the top of a tower where an Egg Flapper with a searchlight.
Lilac took the lead in Speed formation and shoot the Egg Flapper down with Water Cannon and finished it off with an Aqua Vortex kick, the team moved on and took a turn to boost off a dash panel and grind along a rail which spiraled around the tower down to the bottom and jumped off to boost through several dash panels as they ran down the winding sloped pathway at high-speed before launching off a dash ramp towards the castle wall and slid down to a small platform to trigger an orb switch to flip the area upside down once more. The trio's gravity shifted for them to boost off another dash ramp and land on another rail for them to grind along to drop off at a circular platform. Nicole took the lead in Flight formation to carry them up the ascending platforms and took out a pair of Egg Flappers with searchlight to avoid being sighted before continuing across the platforms before arriving at a stone hallway. There a small group of Egg Pawns being supported by an Egg Bishop so Naruto took the lead in Power and were about to approach when a Pumpkin ghost appeared before them.
"G-Get away from me!" Naruto screamed out while reflexively thrusting a palm out to launch a fox fireball to hit the ghost, engulfing it in azure flames as it shrieked in pain before disappearing much to their surprise "W-What just happen?"
"I think your foxfire did something to it," said Lilac.
"If I recall, your foxfire should possess spiritual aspects which could affect the supernatural like ghosts," said Nicole.
Naruto stood there with a blank look then his lips slowly curled up into a wide manic smile "Which means I can hit ghosts now, aww hell yeah! I can totally kick ghost butt! I'm a Ghostbuster!" he took off while still cheering and demolished all of the robots on his own as if to celebrate his latest epiphany.
"He must be very happy that he now has a way to fight his fear," said Nicole with a giggle.
"That's true, looks like he's back to his normal self," said Lilac.
They followed after the now giddy fox to approach an orb switch which was initially locked in a cage but is now open to trigger it and revert the area back to normal as they landed on a shallow pool. The trio moved to the end of the road for torches to light up, Naruto activated his Aura Sight to lead the others along the invisible path to the other side and used his foxfire to burn away any Pumpkin ghosts which appeared before them. they arrived at locked wooden doors but located a switch overhead so Nicole flew up to pull it to open the doors for them to pass through into the courtyard full of Egg pawns, Lilac took charge in Speed formation to use Dragon Typhoon to disarm them of their shields and followed it up with multiple Water Cannon attacks to destroy them.
Nicole carried them up to the ledge overhead and through unlocked doors after destroying an Egg Pawn and Egg Bishop which were guarding it before arriving at the base of a tall tower. They took to destroying the Egg Flappers patrolling the area to unlock a cage containing an orb switch to trigger and flip the castle upside down. the group landed on the outer rim of the tower and went through its window then making their way up the ascending path all the while destroying the Egg flappers in the way with Thunder Shoot till they reached the top to trigger the next orb switch to revert the castle position to normal for them to land back on the ground. They were about to move on when Naruto noticed a switch behind them and pulled it to make a trail of rings appear ahead of them, they switched to Speed formation for Lilac to use her Light Dash to move along the rings as a form of a shortcut to land before locked doors guarded by Badniks. Naruto took using Tailed Flail in Power formation to destroy them all to open the doors and pass through to climb up the stairs and come upon an...interesting sight.
"Are you for real? This guy actually had time to make a statue of himself?" asked Naruto in disbelief as that is exactly what they're looking at right now.
"His arrogance keeps surprising me," said Lilac while shaking her head.
"We can wonder about that later, we'll need to find a way across this gap," Nicole looked around for ideas, then she noticed the orb switch within a locked cage and further ahead are what appear to be large metallic discs that floats in midair. Its faces has red outer rims, its middle rim is gray and in the center it has a blue circle with yellow edges and a yellow star in the middle "I believe that it's similar to the previous switches," she projected a digital lance and launched it at the lower target switch to unlock the cage for them to trigger it to flip the castle upside down and land on a platform then she launched another towards the second target switch to make a pole rise up into the air.
Lilac approached the pole then she used to Dragon Typhoon at the pole before grabbing onto it then Nicole and Naruto quickly grabbed onto her feet as they started spiraling up to the top before Lilac let go, flinging them over towards the next pole, they continued to go from pole to pole till they arrived at the opening in the middle of the upside down statue although Nicole felt that the upside down statue depicted something else but couldn't quite figure it out. Naruto helped smash through the cracked wall to reveal a passageway and took care of the robots behind it to open the doors ahead. The team went through to end up grinding along the winding rail before jumping off at the end to find themselves running down the side of the castle wall towards the roof at high-speed with Lilac leading in Speed formation.
The trio darted from left to right to avoid the large black spiked balls in the way then jumping through rainbow wings to perform an air trick before landing back to resume running, they kept this up till they reached the end and launched off a dash ramp to land before an entryway to the castle interior.

"So far so good, we're at the entrance to the inner part of the castle," said Nicole.
"No doubt that things will be just as strange inside than it is out here," said Lilac.
"I'm sure we can handle it," said Naruto.
"Feeling confident now that you have a way to fight against ghost?" asked Kurama.
"Sort of, at least I won't have to worry about getting possessed,"
"Whatever you say,"
The trio went through the doorways and into the castle to investigate further.
Music Start: Sonic Heroes OST; Stage 12 Mystic Mansion
Two wooden doors suddenly opened up as Naruto and the others dashed through it into the next hallway and encountered an Egg Knight leading two Egg Pawns, Naruto took the lead in Power Formation and used Foxfire Flail to smash through the Egg Knight's shield then followed up with additional hits to destroy it which caused the Egg pawns to self-destruct. They went up the stairs and destroyed the lone Egg pawn to open the doors and move through the hallway though a Pumpkin Ghost with Naruto quickly hitting it with a blast of foxfire to make it go away before continuing up the stairs to pass through the door into a large circular room where there is an orb switch locked in a cage and wooden doors in the middle of the room much to their confusion.
"What's with this room and those doors?" asked Naruto.
"Our best solution would be to trigger the orb switch within the cage but we'll need to find the switch for the cage itself first," said Nicole.
"Then leave it to me," Naruto activated his Aura Sight and looked around for a few moments to see a yellow aura radiating on the other side to the room and so moved towards then a couple of Pumpkin ghosts appeared to attack him "Back off, Will-o'-the-wisp!" he conjured orbs of foxfire around him before launching them towards the ghosts to make them disappear and found a ball switch after smashing several metal crates to unlock the cage before returning to the others to trigger the orb switch which caused it to release symbol particles from the pad and a bright flash of light in the room before fading away to reveal the doors now built to a hallway then Egg pawns appeared to attack the team, Lilac took them out with Dragon Swoop while in Speed formation before the doors opened for them to pass through.
The team had to watch out for large weight hovering overhead to avoid getting squashed while Nicole helped carry them to the upper level in Flight formation and hit a ball switch to open the doors to move on into the next room and face down a squad of Egg Pawns wielding spiked shields and lances so Naruto was the one to engage them in Power formation as he used Tailed Flail but shrouded Lilac and Nicole with yellow aura and arcs of electricity around them from his Lightning aspect for double damage. He smashed all of the robots to pieces before going up the stairs to see three large portraits depicting Egg Pawns and an Egg Hammer with an orb switch before them.
"Be careful, I have a strange feeling about those pictures," said Lilac.
"Me too, let's see what the orb switch will do this time," said Naruto before triggering said switch which suddenly caused the robots to emerge from the pictures "Whoa, I wasn't expecting that!" Naruto created a shadow clone to work together with it to form a Giant Rasengan as he lunged at the Egg Hammer and rammed its head with the jutsu to destroy it before it could attack whilst Nicole and Lilac dealt with the two other Egg Pawns. The team noticed a passage behind the center portrait and went through it to the end towards an upside down pole for Lilac to help spiral down to the lower level to launch towards the next passageway and traverse to the end where they found some sort of trolley with mechanisms similar to the wheeled bobsled "We could use this to move on,"
They all took positions with Lilac at the rear grabbing onto the bar and started spinning, Naruto sat on the seat and grabbed the handles for steering and Nicole held onto the bar attached to the top of the seat with her data wings active. The trolley took off along the rail with a great speed, Nicole helped make the trolley jump over the laser traps ahead of them before hitting a barrier for the team to disembark and land on another trolley to continue onwards though they noticed to be in some sort of underground cave. The team rode the trolley to the end of the rail and got off to land onto the next pathway. They advanced onwards through the door after taking out a lone Egg Pawn into a large room where a large skeleton statue carries large circular platforms on its hands and head, and there are three orb switches before them with two active and the middle one inactive.
Wanting to try their luck, the trio triggered the right orb switch which made the Skeleton statue take a different posture with the platforms positioned for Nicole to carry them along it to the other side and triggered another orb for the statue to change postures again in addition to grinding along large webs to reach the topmost platform and grab onto a ringed handle and be lifted upwards via a pulley to the next passageway. They went up the stairs and along the stone hallway to a room guarded by an Egg Wizard which resembles the Egg Bishop but is blue and appears more sinister. The robot was about to attack by casting a spell but Naruto quickly countered by striking it down with a Rasengan, they looked around for another and noticed cracks on the wall with air blowing through it so Naruto smashed through with a punch to reveal a hidden passage for them to go through. The group fund themselves in another room where a large fan blew through vents beneath them but the air currents aren't strong enough for them to glide with, Naruto found a cracked wall and smashed through it to activate a hidden ball switch to make the fan operate faster then he wrapped his tails around Nicole and Lilac then activated his Air aspect as he pointed his open palms downwards and projected jets of wind to propel the team upwards to a hallway.
The trio moved on and opened several doors to on the way to a room full of statues resembling Egg Pawns and an orb switch hover before them, they had a hunch on what to expect and so triggered the orb switch and sure enough the statues came alive and attacked them. Lilac struck at them with Aqua Splash then followed it up with multiple strikes of the Aqua Vortex Kicks to take them all out and open the door ahead. They entered the next room to find an Egg Hammer waiting for them but this one is rather different as it wears a helmet on its head.
"Exercise caution, this one is the stronger version of the Egg Hammer and is highly resistant to many attacks," said Nicole in alert.
"How do we beat it then?" asked Naruto.
"Our Team Blast should be more than enough to take it out, however Lilac can use her Dragon Typhoon to blow off its helmet to expose its weakpoint for Naruto to destroy,"
"I'm on it!" Lilac launched a cyclone with her Dragon Typhoon which didn't do much to the Heavy Egg Hammer but it was able to blow the helmet off as planned.
"My turn!" Naruto took out a Hirashin kunai in one hand and prepped a Rasengan in the other before rushing towards the robot, he slid below the hammer swing and threw the kunai for it to go over before warping towards it in a yellow flash to appear above its head "Flying Raijin: Level Two!" he rammed the sphere to grind at the robot's head, causing it to fall apart instantly.
The team went upstairs to trigger the orb switch but it didn't open the door before them so they backtracked a bit to come across an opening in a fountain for them to drop through and land back underground. They moved on ahead to ride on another trolley at high-speed and then Rhinoliners showed up while riding on other rails and took aim with their cannons, Naruto took out his Peacekeeper rifle from the SAC and fired at them rapidly then charged up power shots to knock them off the rails to the abyss below before putting the firearm away and resuming control of the trolley which soon hit a barrier for them to jump off and land on another rail to grind along to the end then jump off onto yet another trolley to ride on whilst avoiding more laser traps to the end before getting off to the next pathway.
They moved on and passed through the next door into a room with a bottomless in between two walls, Lilac used her Dragon Swoop to take out two Egg Knights and an Egg Bishop before they triggered the orb switch before noticing that the walls are closer together which is good enough for the triangle jump. Lilac jumped from wall to wall before landing on the weblike rails to grind along to the next pathway. The team moved on and ascended a couple of ledges with Nicole's help while in Flight formation before grabbing onto a handle of a pulley and were lowered down a well to find themselves in some sort of a distorted, multicolored pocket dimension filled with pumpkin ghosts with a grey water-like background.
"What's going on here?" asked Naruto confusedly.
"I don't know but we need to find a way out of here," said Lilac.
"There's are three interlinked ball switches nearby, it should unlock a way out of here," said Nicole. The trio quickly made for the switches with Naruto defending them from the ghosts with his foxfire, successfully activating them to make a trail of rings appear before them, Lilac used the Light Dash in Speed formation to lead the team into another part of the dimension where they landed on a circular platform with an orb switch locked in a cage, and three bridges leading to three altars ahead of them. "Hmmm, these three altars look suspicious. Let's check each of them out,"
The group took the left path to trigger the orb switch in the first alter to make the watery background to turn blue and the bridge to disappear, Lilac had to use her Dragon Swoop which was enshrouded with foxfire to use the pumpkin ghosts as stepping stones to cross back to the main platform before going to the middle altar and triggering the switch there. The background changed to yellow and Nicole carried the team in Flight formation along the floating platforms carefully to the platform before going to activate the orb switch in the left and final altar. Now it was Naruto's turn to carry the others back with use of his wind thrusters along with the air currents produced by the large floating fans back to the main platform where a Heavy Egg Hammer was waiting for them. Nicole sniped from a distance with a blast of digital energy to knock off the helmet then Naruto unsheathed Hazy-Moon from its sheath to stab through the head to take the giant robot down. They noticed that the cage is now unlocked and so triggered the orb switch to find themselves standing in a giant ghostless, calm reservoir on top of castle in the night sky.

"Looks like we got out of the castle," said Lilac.
"Personally, I'm glad to be out of there. That place was rather nerve-racking," said Nicole admittedly.
"Same here, let's keep moving. Eggman can't be too far from here," said Naruto, they found their way off the reservoir and were soon moving in an area close to the outskirts of the castle when they encountered the man whom they've been pursuing from the beginning "There you are Eggman, trying to stop us before we can break your flying toys?"
"Sounds like you're scared of us, which is a good thing," said Lilac in a taunting manner.
"Or perhaps you aren't as formidable as you make yourself out to be," Nicole added her two cents.
A tick mark appeared on Eggman's head "What did you say!? Now I'm really mad! Get them!"
"Here we go again," said Naruto with a sigh "We're on robot demolition duty again, get ready!"
"I'm ready!" said Lilac.
"Same here!" Nicole was in affirmation.
Music Start: Sonic Heroes OST; Boss: Robot Carnival/Robot Storm
Ten Egg Flappers swooped down from above and opened fire on the team as Naruto projected an energy shield with his ECG-X gloves to defend against the attacks, Nicole gathered energy within herself then triggered her EM Burst to unleash a large radial blast of pixels around her to paralyze the Egg Flappers. Lilac seized the opportunity to launch a barrage of Water Cannons to strike the Egg Flappers "Let's go, Star Ball Attack!" Naruto summoned his Star Ball he points his middle and index fingers forwards for the ball to emit blue azure flames before shooting forward like a comet, he proceeded to trace his fingers rapidly in the air with the flaming Star Ball following the direction in perfect sync to consecutively strike the robots "Now burst!" he twisted his fingers which triggered the ball to release an explosion of foxfire before returning to fuse with his body. Nicole projected her Digital Wings then grabbed hold of Naruto and Lilac to ascend to the air then used Thunder Shoot to finish the rest off. Nine lance-wielding Egg Pawns dropped from above and charged towards the trio, Lilac used her Dragon Cyclone for consecutive radial strikes then spun with twice the speed to use Dragon Typhoon to juggle them in the air as she followed it up with Aqua Vortex Kick to send them crashing to the ground in pieces.
Another platoon of Egg pawns appeared and this time are being led by a lance-wielding Egg Knight who gave the command to attack the team, Naruto took the lead in Power formation and proceeded to smash up each of the robots with his Tailed Flail attack before leaping into the air and used Foxfire Slingshot to launch Nicole and Lilac as blue fireballs for additional damage then diving at the Egg Knight with a Rasengan in hand and destroying it. They noticed that the cage containing the orb switch is now unlocked so they triggered to flip the castle upside down and they landed on a platform and were surrounded by Cameron "Terra Quake!" Naruto raised a fist above his head before slamming it onto the ground to trigger a powerful earthquake which flipped the Cameron onto their backs, Lilac and Nicole seized the opportunity by using Dragon Swoop and launching a barrage of digital spears respectively to strike at the vulnerable spots and destroy them.
Egg pawns began dropping from above one after another to attack the group but Lilac would quickly cut them down with slashes from her twin ponytails whilst Naruto would create chakra constructs of kunai in hand before slashing at his share of robots with Nicole providing support by hitting faraway enemies with blasts of digital energy. Egg Bishops were the next to appear so Nicole quickly used Thunder Shoot to paralyze them in Flight formation before switching to Power formation for Naruto to destroy them with Foxfire Flail. The cage containing a cannon was soon unlocked so they jumped into it and were launched into the air to land on another platform.
The team heard the sound of jet engines and looked up to see what appear to be the smaller versions of the Egg Hawk which Nicole identified to be Falcos as they began dropping Egg Pawns onto the platform to attack them. Lilac performed the Water Spinjitzu to ricochet off the robots rapidly to land consecutive hits, Naruto activated his air aspect then used the Aero Beast Swipe to knock the other robots off the platform towards the abyss below. The Falcos returned once more to drop off more Egg Pawns and this time an Egg Hammer appeared to attack them, Nicole and Lilac went after the Egg pawns whilst Naruto dashed towards the Egg Hammer, he quickly sidestepped to avoid a swing of its hammer then fired chakra grapple line from one of his gloves then ran in circles to tie the legs together and topple it over to the ground for Naruto to finish it off by using Chidori to pierce its head.
Eggman scoffed at all this "Hmph not bad, let's see how you can handle this!" he pushed a button to make three Egg Hammers to appear on the platform and surround the team.
"We'll see alright!" Naruto took out three Hirashin kunai and gave each to Lilac and Nicole "On my mark, we throw at the same time!" he counted down then they threw the kunai at each of the Egg Hammers and Naruto disappeared in a yellow flash, multiple flashes could be seen before Naruto returned to his initial position with the kunai held in his tails and a sheathed Hazy-Moon in hand "Flying Raijin: Slashing Combo Level!" the robots fell apart in pieces with the cage opening up for the orb switch to be activated and the castle be reverted to its normal position for the team to land on a platform with a circular rail around it.
A large number of Egg Flappers appeared and attacked the team but Nicole quickly carried them out of range in Flight formation and retaliated with Thunder Shoot to destroy each and every one of them before descending to the ground. Next to appear were two gold Klagen and five Rhinoliners which were moving on the rails, Lilac took out the Klagen with Dragon Swoop in Speed formation before launching Water Cannon towards the Rhinoliners with Nicole firing multiple Digital Torrents and Naruto bringing out his Peacemaker rifle to shoot at them as well.
"This is getting sad Eggman, the caliber of your robots are no different from the ones back at Casino Park," Naruto spoke tauntingly.
"Tch, we'll see about that!" Eggman sent another squad of Egg Pawns and like before Naruto and the others were quick to demolish them before they could mount up an effective assault. The cage unlocked itself for the team to access the cannon to be launched to the last platform, they encountered A Heavy-Egg Hammer, an Egg Bishop, an Egg Magician and Falcos dropping eight lance-wielding Egg Knights with spiked shields onto the platform.
"Let's use a Team Blast to take them all down in one assault," said Lilac.
"I couldn't agree more, we wasted enough time as it is," said Nicole.
"Alright then, time for the Light Speed Pixelized Outcry!" said Naruto in affirmation.
The team took up a new formation as Nicole hovered in the air with her data wings active, Naruto stood on her right and Lilac on her left, then she held her palms close together and began to focus a ton of energy into an orb while Naruto and Lilac took a three point stance with blue auras radiating from their bodies "TAKE OFF!" at Naruto's cry, they blasted off at high-speed to the point of appearing as comets with blue aura trailing behind them. the dual speedsters unleashed a barrage of strikes upon the robots from every single direction in a pinball-like fashion and picking up even more speed, Nicole ascended to the sky and held a large blue sphere of data over her head "It's over!" she threw the sphere down to the ground which resulted in a large explosion and forcefully overriding the robots' system to self-destruction and exploding as she landed on the ground with Naruto and Lilac skidding backwards to stand beside her.

"Damn you all, this is far from over! Far from it!" Eggman turned his Egg Mobile and flew away in anger.
"Why am I not surprised with that kind of reaction," said Naruto with a shrug of his shoulders in a nonchalant manner.
"I'm detecting Eggman's armada not too far from our position," said Nicole as she looks at the radar on the holoscreen with a small frown.
"So how do we get up there?" asked Lilac.
"Let's get out of here first then I'll call on Dragoon to give us a ride up to Eggman's fleet so we can bring them down to earth," said Naruto.
The trio began making their way out of the haunted castle in preparation to face the mad doctor in a final showdown in the sky and this time there will be no running away!
This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Naruto and the others found their way into a haunted castle much to the former's fear but had to pull himself together to find their way through the supernatural oddities of the places whilst battling Badniks and ghost, although the saving grace is that his foxfire seem to have an effect on spiritual much to his relief. The team have traversed the haunted castle and are now getting ready to make their way to the Egg Fleet, now the question is what's gonna happen next? Stay tuned to find out.
