Chapter 35: The Sky's SO not the Limit
Up high in the air and close to the Earth's stratosphere is a gigantic armada of heavily armed flying battleships with each armed with powerful cannons and carrying armies of robots within while bearing resemblance of aquatic creatures like sharks and manta rays. Suddenly something burst through the cloudbank below the fleet and flew towards one of the battleships shaped like a blue shark with four fins, it slowed down a bit to reveal itself to be the Dragoon as Naruto and Lilac jumped off to land on the bow of the shark gunship then Nicole materialized from the SAC before Dragoon flew away.
"Looks like we've finally caught up with the armada," Naruto as he looked around the place.
"This reminds me of when you fought that mad doctor in the flying fortress, only higher this time," said Kurama.
They heard Eggman's voice through the loudspeaker as he spoke with arrogance "Muahahaha…you fools must all have a death wish? Witness this battleship, built by the hands of a genius. It's power…unmatched throughout the universe!"
"Sounds to me like he's throwing a challenge at us, one we're more than willing to take," said Lilac.
"I agree with you, Eggman must possess great confidence to do so," said Nicole in agreement.
"That's pretty much the gist of things, let's break a lot of his toys along the way while going after the big cheese himself," Naruto punched his fists in anticipation for the incoming battle with the girls feeling the same way.

The team took off along the pathway in Speed formation whilst outpacing the cannons before they could even take aim and fire to reach the end and launch off a dash ramp to take to the air where they could see the numerous flying battleships as well as the skies below them.
"Wow, we're really up high in the sky!" said Lilac in wonder.
"Best be careful, one misstep would result in falling to our doom," Nicole cautioned the others.
"Come on, we practically fought in outer space. This should be a piece of cake!" said Naruto with a smirk on his face.
The trio descended to land on a network of rails to grind along and jumping off the end to landing on a red battleship shaped like a Mako shark and advancing up the ramp to the main deck where a group of Egg pawns stationed close to a pair of cannons. Nicole quickly alerted the others about the markers which would appear beneath their feet to signal the cannons' firing trajectory as Lilac attacked the Egg pawns with Dragon Swoop then fired multiple Water Cannons to destroy the cannons to lower the metal gate ahead before continuing onwards to the lower deck towards a tall pole. Lilac approached the pole then she used the Dragon Typhoon at the pole before grabbing onto it then Nicole and Naruto quickly grabbed onto her feet as they started spiraling up to the top before Lilac let go, flinging them over towards the pathway overhead and bounced off a wide spring to reach the upper level where they went through a hallway to the end and hopped into a cannon to be launched high into the air and propelled themselves through a dash ring to land on a rail and grind along it.
"I'm seriously wondering where Eggman gets the capital and material to build all this," said Naruto.
"I'm was thinking the same thing, I've never seen this much battleships even in the movies," said Lilac.
"Let's target the larger battleships along the way to the flagship, give him something to complain about," said Nicole playfully, getting a thumbs up from Naruto.
The trio jumped off the end of the rails to land on the next platform then bounce off a wide spring to reach the upper ledges where they jumped across moving platforms before Lilac used Light Dash on a trail of rings in midair to cross over to the other side and dash through the descending hallway to grind along another rail which led to consecutive rails and boosting through several dash rings for bursts of speed before landing on the next red Mako battleship. They moved up to the main deck where they encountered a pair of Egg pawns being led by what appears to be a red humanoid/hawk robot armed with a powerful looking energy cannon and a shield. Lilac used Dragon Swoop to attack the robot but it raised its shield to block the attack and knock her, she switched to using Dragon Typhoon which caused it to become disoriented for Nicole to take the lead in Flight formation and use Thunder Shoot to stun it further before switching to Power formation for Naruto to destroy it with Foxfire Slingshot along with the Egg pawns to make the gates open. The team moved down to the lower deck to come across a device with a three-bladed helicopter rotor on a pole, with each blade having a sharp plating on the outer edge, and on the bottom it has a triangular recess which is attached to a lower pole on the ground.
"I think we can use it just like with the Flower back at the Frog Forest," said Naruto.
"You're right, their mechanism are very similar," said Nicole.
"Then I'll create some wind to make it fly," said Lilac.
She used her Dragon Typhoon to produce a swirling gust of wind towards the propeller to make it spinning quickly and rise to the air, Lilac jumped up grab onto the triangular recess with the others grabbing onto her legs. The propeller proceeded to carry the team around different parts with Lilac having partial control on it.
"Watch out for the cannons aiming at us, make sure to dodge them by moving up and down!" Nicole called out in alert, Naruto had his tails wrap around her legs to free his hands as he equipped himself with the Peacemaker rifle before flew by the first row of cannons "Go down!" Lilac made the propeller descend to avoid the salvo of cannon fire then Naruto opened fire to destroy them with powered shots "Go up!" Lilac quickly pulled up to avoid the next salvo from the second row of cannons with Naruto destroying those as well "Ready to land on the giant battleship!"
The group ascended towards a formidable ship, larger and more heavily armed than the gunships before and shaped like a blue sawfish as they landed on the bow before dashing along the pathway whilst evading fire from the cannons and bombs dropped by Falcos. Naruto took the lead in Power formation and used a Rasengan to destroy a giant cannon in their way before bouncing off a spring to reach the upper level and crossed along a moving platform to the other side. Nicole was next to lead in Flight formation as she used Thunder Shoot to destroy the smaller cannons during her ascent via the platforms. They went through a short hallway before Nicole carried to an upper platform as a form of a shortcut towards a pole for Lilac to help ascend to the topmost part of the battleship
Naruto and the others came across the humanoid robot which Nicole has identified as E-2000 before facing it in Flight formation and was about to use Thunder Shoot when it suddenly transformed into a jet plane before firing a purple laser beam, she quickly lifted them into the air to evade the attack and used Thunder Shoot to destroy it as she analyzed it to be more vulnerable in that form and had the gate open for them to pass through. The team went up the path towards the entrance leading to ship's bridge but there were treadmills pushing them back.
"Lilac-chan, use your Dragon Boost to charge through!" Naruto called out.
"Alright then, I'll give it a shot! Dragon Boost!" Lilac charged up her energy then launched herself forward like a comet to move a high-speed with the others following close behind, parts of the bridge could be seen exploding many times before completely self-destructing with the trio flying high into the air before landing on some rails and grinding away from the plummeting Sawfish battleship.
"That's one down!" said Naruto cheerfully.
"All right!" Lilac whooped loudly.
"Let's keep the momentum going!" said Nicole in support.
They grinded along the rails before jumping off at the end to pass through a trio of rainbow rings to propel them further while performing an air trick then landing on a platform with a trail of rings ahead, Lilac took the lead in Speed formation and used Light Dash to travel along the rings and landing on another rail to grind along towards a staircase-like platform with cannons station at the top with an inactive fan in the middle as the ball switch to activate it is locked in a cage and guarded by an E-2000. Nicole used Thunder Shoot in Flight formation to destroy the cannons before stunning the robot for Naruto to destroy it with Tailed Flail while in Power formation to unlock the cage and triggering the ball switch to activate the fan, then he wrapped his tails around Nicole and Lilac then activated his Air aspect as he pointed his open palms downwards and projected jets of wind to propel the team upwards to more platforms bearing fans to continue their ascent to the top most part of the ship where even larger propellers were present for him to make use of but have to take evasion action to avoid cannons firing at the team until they got to the end and launched off a dash ramp to land at the next Mako gunship.
The team switched to Speed formation upon landing and boosted of a dash panel to run up the ramp and quickly jumped into the air to evade a double-barreled cannon firing their way then Lilac used an Aqua Vortex kick to destroy it before moving down to the lower deck where the dragoness performed the Light Dash along a trail of rings to a pair of small platforms. They landed on the higher left platform to grind along the rail and get onboard the Mako gunship, several Falcos swooped down from above in an attempt to drop the bombs on the team but Nicole projected multiple digital spears around her before launching them at the robots to corrupt their OS then Naruto with his air aspect still active used the Great Breakthrough jutsu to blow them away. They advanced to the lower deck to grind along a rail towards a small platform and come across another propeller for Lilac to use the Dragon Typhoon again to make it fly before they all grabbed on before taking off.
The trio flew in between a long gap in between that of a battleship whilst avoiding the cannons firing at them once again then pulling up higher to fly past a Mako ship with Nicole calling out in alert "Incoming cannon fire, move down!" Lilac immediately descended to evade the shots with Naruto taking the Peacemaker rifle which was attached to a holster on his back and fired to destroy the cannons, he saw a small fleet of Falcos heading in their direction and quickly charged chakra into the rifle and took aim "Chakra Blast Volley!" and pulled the trigger for the twin barrels to fire many chakra bullets towards the robots and was able to shoot all of them down. The propeller carried them past the gunships and through another long gap and narrowly avoiding cannon fire before exiting to ascending towards the second Sawfish battleship "Coming in for a landing on the next battleship!"
They landed on the battleship and rushed along the pathway whilst evading the shots by the cannons until they reached the biggest one for Naruto to destroy with a Rasengan in Power formation to reveal a spring for them to bounce up to the upper platform where he helped the others glide to the other side via a large fan creating a wind current below them. Nicole took the lead to destroy the nearby cannons with Thunder Shoot while climbing up the ledges to reach the top and passing through a small hallway before flying them up to an upper platform for Lilac to send them spiraling to the top where they encountered yet another E-2000 to bar their way. The robot took aim with its arm cannon and fired a laser beam which they quickly avoided then Nicole launched a barrage of Digital Spears to strike it while it's vulnerable then Lilac finished it off by using Dragon Boost to smash right through it, making the gate open for them to proceed. The team went up the path towards the entrance leading to ship's bridge but yet another E-2000 blocked their path.
"Sorry but we're in a hurry!" Naruto conjured a shadow clone next to him and they began to form a larger than normal spiraling sphere "Let's go, Giant Rasengan!" they dashed forwards at speed towards the robot who raised its shield to block but the jutsu grinded right through it without resistance as they continued to run into the entrance of the bridge without losing speed resulting in its complete destruction before the team were launched high into the air once more.

"That's two for us, we're on a roll here!" said Naruto.
"Hey guys, look over there!" said Lilac while pointing at something, the rest turned to see what appears to be the flagship of Eggman's fleet as it is the size of it far surpasses that of the battleships from before and is in the shape of a whale shark while obviously heavily armed. They also noticed that it seems to be surrounded in rough weather which is rather strange.
"That must be Eggman's headquarters, it possesses high tier technology according to my scanners," said Nicole with narrowed eyes.
"It's a wonder that something as big as this can even stay afloat," said Kurama.
"Eggman is sure to be at the core of this place so let's find him and put an end to all this!" said Naruto with determination.
"Right!" Nicole and Lilac responded in affirmation then they all dove towards the flagship to find the evil doctor.

The team descended towards the flagship and landed upon a neon rail to grind along towards a group of platforms which began to collapse so they quickly got off by having Lilac perform the Light Dash along a trail of rings to land on the next neon rail boost through a dash ring to reach up to a more stable platform but ran into an Egg Hammer, Naruto took the lead in Power formation and activated his Celestial aspect as he used the Light Blade to strike at the head quickly before it could launch an attack then fired a powerful Light Beam to push it off the platform then unlocking a nearby cage to access a ball switch to make a trail of rings appear for Lilac to use the Light Dash to land on a collapsible platform but they quickly jumped off to land on a much safer platform.
Nicole took the lead in Flight formation to carry the team towards a narrow gap in between two tall steeled walls and land on a collapsing platform where Lilac took the lead in Speed formation to perform the Triangle Jump as she jumped towards one of the walls and landed sideways on her feet, then she proceeded to jump horizontally between the walls while moving perpendicularly across the gap to the other side with Naruto also doing the same while Nicole simply flew after them to the other side while watching out for the laser beams moving and down on the walls before dropping down to the pathway and running along it. There was a steel barrier in the way so Naruto moved in Power formation with the Earth aspect active to punch it out of the way then boosting off a dash panel to run up a ramped wall to reach to the upper platform.
The trio had to face off a Heavy Egg Hammer ahead of them, Nicole took careful aim with a Digital Spear and fired it to knock off the helmet and expose the weakpoint then Naruto triggered his lightning aspect to perform the Chidori as he followed it up with Shadow Step to appear behind the robot and piercing its head to destroy it. They moved on to trigger a ball switch to make a pole rise up from the ground for Lilac to then use the Dragon Typhoon to help them spiral up to the top and launch off to land on a circular neon rail before grinding along to the front towards another pole to slingshot towards the next circular rail to the third pole and slung off to land on a straight rail this time then grinded along it, the trio leapt off the end towards a chain of poles to spiral from one to another as they ascended to the highest point towards a neon which led them towards another narrow gap in between two tall steeled walls for Lilac to perform the triangle jump here as well to the other side where they encountered a E-2000 but appears to be a golden variant.
"Be careful, this one is apparently stronger compared to the other ones," said Nicole.
"Well, it'll share the same result as with the others, being trashed!" Naruto charged at the robot with his lightning aspect still active and channeled electricity to his left hand as he somersaulted into the air "Severing Flash Chop!" he moved quickly to dismember the arm bearing the shield, Lilac was close behind and attacked the arm cannon with Dragon Cyclone to critically damage armament for Nicole to finish it off by draining its data entirely which unlocked the door ahead of them.
Nicole helped carry the team over a tall laser field to the other side and approached what appears to be a large pressure switch before them, not having much of a choice they jumped atop the switch which caused it to self-destruct without warning and sent them flying into the air and landing on a set of neon rails to grind along.
"Who would have thought that it was a self-destruct button," Naruto muttered out loud.
"But I wonder why Eggman would have something like that made?" asked Lilac.
"I was wondering the same thing," said Nicole.
The trio grinded along the rails and went through a shuttle loop before grinding downhill and picking up speed, suddenly red and blue laser beams were fired at the left and right rails respectively to which Naruto and Nicole were quick to jump off to the middle rail and avoid the blasts before looking ahead to see a trio of laser cannons before passing over them and jumping off the rails to pass through a set of rainbow rings and perform an air trick before landing on the next set of rails.
"Man, Eggman's really buffed up the security here!" Naruto commented.
"We need to watch out for the laser blasts from those cannons!" said Nicole.
They continued to grind along the rails and avoided the yellow laser blast at the middle rail before jumping towards a hanging pole for Lilac to spiral the team to the top and sling off to a circular rail to grind towards another pole to slingshot towards the next narrow gap for Lilac to use the triangle jump once more to cross to the next area. Naruto took the lead in Power formation to smash a cannon out of the way with a Rasengan before continuing down the path and grinded along a neon rail to land on a large platform full of cannons aiming their way with an E-2000R robot in tow. Nicole quickly used Thunder Shoot to take out the cannons in Flight formation then she lifted them into the air upon seeing the robot transform into a jet plane and launch a laser beam towards them and retaliated with Thunder Shoot a couple of times to destroy it.
Nicole located three interlinked ball switches which were hidden within the cannons previously for them to trigger simultaneously to activate the giant fan then Naruto used his wind thrusters to ascend to the upper platform where two Egg Hammers were guarding a cage. Naruto engaged them with Foxfire Flail for increased damage and flipped into the air to use Foxfire Slingshot to destroy them from a range, he triggered the ball switch within the now open cage before hitting the Power gong which launched them backwards into the air towards a circular rail for them to grind along towards a very tall pole for them to spiral to the top and slingshot off towards a neon rail to grind along before dropping down to a set of rails which led them to the next platform. The team had to take down a squad of Egg pawns and an E-2000R before locating a switch to activate a giant fan to glide to the upper platform and destroy a Heavy Egg Hammer to unlock a cage holding a Power gong for Naruto to use to launch them to another platform with two Egg Hammers which he fought off, Nicole fired a Digital Spear to hit a target switch from afar to make a pole protract for the team to climb up to the next where three Heavy Egg Hammers waited for them.
"Let's use our Team Blast to take of these guys quickly!" said Naruto, getting nods of affirmation from Lilac and Nicole "Let's do this, Light Speed Pixelized Outcry!"
Nicole hovered in the air with her data wings active, Naruto stood on her right and Lilac on her left, then she held her palms close together and began to focus a ton of energy into an orb while Naruto and Lilac took a three point stance with blue auras radiating from their bodies "TAKE OFF!" at Naruto's cry, they blasted off at high-speed to the point of appearing as comets with blue aura trailing behind them. The dual speedsters unleashed a barrage of strikes upon the robots from every single direction in a pinball-like fashion which knocked off their helmets and were picking up even more speed, Nicole ascended to the sky and held a large blue sphere of data over her head "It's over!" she threw the sphere down to the ground which resulted in a large explosion and forcefully overriding the robots' system to self-destruction and exploding as she landed on the ground with Naruto and Lilac skidding backwards to stand beside her.
The team moved past the open gate towards another pressure switch for them to activate its self-destruction and were launched into the air again and land on a set of rails to grind along, they went through a shuttle loop before dropping to the next set of rails where they avoided the yellow laser fired at the middle rail then went past to the next rails, there they evaded the blue laser on the right rail which is then followed by the red laser on the left rail then moved to the next set of rails which have tripled in number with the same going for the laser cannons.
"Four laser cannons? Eggman must really not want us here," said Naruto with a quirked eyebrow.
"We better watch out and not get hit by them!" said Nicole.
"I doubt they'll even touch us!" said Lilac.
The trio grinded down the rails as fast as they could whilst keeping an eye out for which laser cannon would be fired while drawing close to them, the cannons began firing laser beams and the team executed evasion actions by jumping from rail to rail to avoid them until they were safely past them. but it wasn't over yet for ahead of them is a giant structure with a mechanical version of Eggman's head on top, they saw the left eye gathering energy and ready to fire so Nicole lifted the team high into the air just in time as the structure unleashed a large laser beam for a few moments before stopped then they continued to grind along the rails to the end and landed on a platform with a pressure switch before them. The trio jumped onto the switch which caused the structure to explode and launch them to the center of it.

"Looks like we finally made it to the center of the battleship," said Naruto.
"Yeah, do you have any idea of where to find Eggman?" asked Lilac.
"I'm already doing so and managed to locate his position, it isn't too far from here," said Nicole.
"Alright then, let's go and give him our greetings. Don't wanna be rude to the guy," said Naruto.
"It's this way," Nicole took the lead as always until they finally located on a lone pathway and called out to him "There's no place for you to run anymore, Eggman!"
"Dude, you made me skip out on my ramen splurges and I'm totally not cool with that!" said Naruto with a look of annoyance.
"Time to stop running and fight back on your own!" said Lilac.
Eggman gritted his teeth in anger at the blatant amount of disrespect towards and has hit the limit of his tolerance "Enough of this! Lilac, Nicole, Naruto! Time to meet your maker!" he docked his Egg Mobile on a mech which assembled itself and came online.
It is a large and humanoid old gold-colored robot with a round torso. Its upper torso and back possesses thick armor while its undercarriage is smaller and dark green. It also has red and old gold bolts covering its underbelly, a dark green neck collar, and a round blue-purple window into its cockpit in the center of its torso. Its right shoulder is round with red and white spikes, and its right arm consists of a long old gold lance with a gray tip. Its left shoulder is more cup-shaped and its left arm has a gray hand with a dark green back. Strapped to its left forearm is a tall red shield with a circular gray and red center, a gray outline, and old gold edges. Its head also has sharp teeth and red spikes for a mustache. Lastly, it has dark green eyes, a fin on its forehead, and long rocket flaps on its back.
"I'll show you what real evil is!" Eggman declared.
Naruto scoffed in reply "Real evil? I've met a lot of bad guys back where I came from and you're nowhere close to my top ten,"

"Alright girls, time to show this guy our teamwork got us all the way here!" Naruto started running with the others following after him.
"Let's do this!" said Lilac with determination.
Nicole felt the same way "I'm ready!"
The team gave chase towards Eggman who was piloting the Egg Emperor to fly backwards to maintain a distance between them along the long platform. He operated his mech to swing the lance to launch crescent energy waves in a horizontal or vertical position with Naruto and the others evading the incoming projectiles by jumping over or sidestepping them and continued to stay him with Lilac leading in Speed formation "Water Cannon!" Lilac launched a water sphere but Eggman deflected it with his shield and retaliated by launching a salvo of homing missiles towards them, Nicole took the lead in Flight formation and fired a barrage of Digital spears at the missiles to destroy them in midair before they could get any closer then carried the team into the air and boosted off a dash ring to get across a bottomless pit to the next long platform and resume pursuit.
Several Egg Flappers and cannons stationed ahead attempted to attack but Nicole took the all out with Thunder Shoot before targeting Eggman who again defended with the shield before retaliating by swinging the lance to fire off more energy waves for them to avoid getting hit by his attacks before taking to the air and towards a large circular platform resembling an arena. There was a Power gong at the end of the platform so Naruto used it to launch them towards the arena while in Power formation and landed to see several Egg pawns while lances and cannons stationed around with the Egg Emperor waiting for them.
"Analysis is complete, the purple glowing core on the chest is its weak spot but striking at it will be difficult because of the shield," Nicole quickly informed the others.
"Alright then, you can leave the shield to me but first let's take care of the distraction before going after the big cheese," said Naruto.
The team switched to Flight formation with Nicole maneuvering the others around the arena and using Thunder Shoot to destroy the cannons quickly carries them into the air to avoid the energy waves launched by the Egg Emperor's lance as well as the charging Egg pawns until all cannons were destroyed before switching to Lilac in Speed who then used Dragon Typhoon on the Egg pawns to disarm them of their shields then followed it up with Dragon Cyclone for radial damage into Dragon Swoop to take the rest out. It was now Naruto's turn in Power formation as he charged towards the Egg Emperor while holding Lilac and Nicole in their spinball forms then he leapt into the air to use Foxfire Slingshot, Eggman raised his shield to defend against the attacks and launched a salvo of homing missiles towards them but Naruto quickly switched to his Celestial aspect "Light Beam Rapid Refire!" he pointed the tips of his other tails at the incoming missiles and launched a barrage of light beams to destroy them while on the move before striking at the shield once more wit Foxfire Slingshot until the last shot managed to shatter it much to the doctor's shock and anger.
"Quite hiding behind that shield Eggy and show us what you got!" said Naruto with a smirk.
"You don't stand a ghost of a chance!" said Lilac.
"Your loss is inevitable," said Nicole.
The doctor scoffed in response "It's not over yet, troublesome fools!"
Eggman piloted the mech to fly away from the arena for a temporary retreat, the trio gave chase once more as they approached a pole for Lilac to use the Dragon Typhoon at the pole before grabbing onto it then Nicole and Naruto quickly grabbed onto her feet as they started spiraling up to the top before Lilac let go, flinging them over towards the next long platform. Eggman kept having his mech launch energy waves and commanded the Egg Flappers to attack but the team remained relentless in their pursuit of him as they kept evading the attacks and destroying the Badniks in their paths then using their specialty to cross over the bottomless pits till they were at the next arena.
"Alright, let's hit them with everything we've got!" Naruto spoke with the others responding in affirmation "Burning Shot!" he triggered his Fire aspect before kicking a fire coated Star Ball at the enemies in a soccerlike fashion for it to ricochet consecutively to destroy them then returning to fuse with his body. "Digital Volley!" Nicole projected a large number of Digital spear while flying overhead and launched them at the cannons, causing them to short-circuit and explode. She projected a digital long sword and manipulated it without holding it tohelp Lilac who was using Aqua Vortex Kick to take on the Egg pawns and was destroying them "Oceanic Torpedo!" she shrouded herself into water before towards the target began ricocheting off the robots upon collision before skidding to a stop with Nicole finishing of the last of the Badniks.
The arena is now clear save for the Egg Emperor whom the trio are now focused on and launched an assault on, Eggman tried to fight back with his lance and homing missiles but he was easily countered before being struck by Lilac's Water Cannon, Nicole's Digital Torrent and Naruto's Foxfire Barrage, and his systems are alerting him of his mech attaining critical damage much to his growing worry.
"Face it Eggman, you've already lost," Naruto called out.
"My scanners tell me that your robot is close to complete collapse," said Nicole.
"One more is sure to do you in, Eggman!" said Lilac.
"I won't go down that easy!" Eggman refuted.
"But you will, time for the coup de grâce! Light Speed Pixelized Outcry!" said Naruto in affirmation.
The team took up a new formation as Nicole hovered in the air with her data wings active, Naruto stood on her right and Lilac on her left, then she held her palms close together and began to focus a ton of energy into an orb while Naruto and Lilac took a three point stance with blue auras radiating from their bodies "TAKE OFF!" at Naruto's cry, they blasted off at high-speed to the point of appearing as comets with blue aura trailing behind them. the dual speedsters unleashed a barrage of strikes upon the Egg Emperor from every single direction in a pinball-like fashion and picking up even more speed, Nicole ascended to the sky and held a large blue sphere of data over her head "It's over!" she threw the sphere down to the ground which resulted in a large explosion and forcefully overriding the mech's system to self-destruction and exploding as she landed on the ground with Naruto and Lilac skidding backwards to stand beside her.
"Defeated? Impossible! Nooooooo!" Eggman cried out in despair as the mech finally collapsed to the ground and exploded.

"Heck to the yeah! Victory is ours!" Naruto cheered happily and doing a group high five with Lilac and Nicole.
"With this, the Egg Fleet is sure to be permanently deactivated," said Lilac.
Nicole was rather thoughtful though "I'm not so sure…something doesn't sit right with me,"
"What do you mean?" asked Lilac.
"I used my scanners on the Egg Emperor earlier before…and it was another fake with advanced technology like the one we fought back at his base,"
"Oh come on, are you saying that we have to still go chasing after Eggman?" Naruto groaned at the implication.
"No…it's more like we've been chasing after the wrong person to begin with, I feel that someone has been impersonating Eggman this whole time," Nicole theorized.
"Hold on, you're saying that someone must have locked Eggman away somewhere and took over to try and take over the world?" asked Lilac, getting a nod of affirmation from Nicole.
"In other words, there's a hidden player in all this," said Kurama.
"If what you say is true, then the question now is…,"
"Who was it?" asked Vector who was at a storage room along with Charmy and Espio as they all stood before a battered Eggman sitting on the floor after their displeasure at the sudden change in the contract "Who locked you up for trying to trying to conquer the world?"
"…it was…" Eggman was about to answer when there was the sound of an explosion outside, drawing their attention to find out the cause of it.
This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Naruto and the others have found their way up to the Egg Fleet and began storming their way to the flagship all the while destroying any enemy which came their way until finally arriving at their destination. There they sought out Eggman who faced them in his mech but soon fell to their united might, however Nicole pointed out to them that Eggman is probably not the one whom they had been chasing after from the very beginning but someone else. So the big question is who's the true instigator of all this? Stay tuned to find out.
