Loud house reaction to Pokémon legend.

Greetings everyone, I had this thought on how the characters from the loud house and casagrandes would react to what it would be like if Pokémon was in their lives. And yes, the louds will get scolded for a while for their actions especially Lori, Lynn, and Lola.

Episode 17

Cerulean gym battle!

"Alright, another gym battle," Zach said."

"I wonder what she'll use," Mollie said."

"We saw her battle team rocket so I'm guessing water," Kara said."

Lincoln returns to brock and misty as they were waking up.

"What's with all the noise?" misty yawned."

"Just caught some Pokémon," Lincoln simply replied."

"This early in the morning?" brock asked."

"So, what did you catch?" misty asked."

"See for yourself," Lincoln replied showing them his pokedex, which had the entire clefairy line registered as caught."

"No way! you actually caught the entire clefairy line?!" misty exclaimed shocked at what she was witnessing."

"She sounds jealous," Stella said."

"A paras and a sandshrew. and not only that, but that's the same shiny clefable that evolved last night," Lincoln added."

"Man, you have to be the luckiest guy I've ever met!" brock said."

"I agree," Leonard said."

"I should start having more faith in you in what you have your mind set on and looks like that shop keeper's map was spot on. which means..." misty said as she dug out a blue colored stone from her bag," it's time for me to use this!"

"Wait, is that a water stone?" brock asked."

"Yep! I've been after one for a long time. I want to evolve my poliwhirl into poliwrath," misty replied as she sent out her poliwhirl," alright poliwhirl, are you ready to evolve?

"So, Pokémon can use stones to evolve like the moon stone?" Carlos asked."

"Actually, only some Pokémon can use stones and other items to evolve while some evolve through trading," Kai replied."

"Amazing," Lisa said."

she then tapped the water stone onto poliwhirl, only for nothing to happen."

"Wait, what's going on? he said that-oh, that lousy no-good con-artist!" Misty growled in rage."

"She's been flipped," Luan said."

"no-good con-artist?" brock asked before realizing something," you bought that stone from the shop in pewter city, didn't you?"

"Yes! he said it was a legitimate article! I can't believe he swindle me out 5000 pokedollars!" misty replied in anger."

Lincoln and brock were on the ground howling in laughter.

"You actually let yourself get cheated out of 5000 pokedollars?!" Lincoln asked before laughing again."

"That's not funny Lincoln, we even you got swindled by Flip," Lynn sr. said."

"Oh yeah," Lincoln said."

"SHUT UP YOU MORONS!" misty yelled before grimacing," ugh, this just isn't my morning."

later that morning, at the fork in the road,

the three friends had descended the mountain and were on the road again. before leaving, brock caught two more geodude, each whom was less than thrilled about being captured. eventually, they came upon a fork in a road. there, they saw a sigh that had two arrows pointing in opposite directions. the left arrow said, "cerulean city", while the right arrow said, "vermillion city".

"Which way should they go?" Darcy asked."

"They are heading to Cerulean city," David replied."

"So, your next gym battle is in cerulean city?" misty asked."

"Yup. and I'm ready to take on whoever I face, before that I have to head to the Pokémon center first," Lincoln replied."

"Well, aren't we confident. I assume you have some kind of plan in place?" misty asked."

"Man with the plan duh," Stella said."

"I do, but I'm keeping the specifics to myself," Lincoln replied with a sly smile."

"Aw come on! give me a hint!" misty pleaded."

"We want to know too," Lola said."

"Nope! you're just going to have to wait. now let's keep moving. I would like to get my second badge by the day's end," Lincoln replied as they continued forward to cerulean city."

a little later, past the cerulean city western entrance.

"So, this is cerulean city. seems like a nice place to live," Lincoln said with an impressed look etched onto his face as they walked through the streets."

"A very nice city," Becca said."

"Yep. it's a fairly quiet town, and living here is nice and easy. so, what do you guy's plan to do first? a little sight-seeing?" misty asked."

"I already said I'm heading to the Pokémon center to prepare my team, and wonder trade if there's a station there," Lincoln replied."

"So that's how you guys got ralts, riolu, Dewpider and buizel," brock said."

"Yup, we went to give it a try after our battle," Lincoln replied as they arrived at the crossroads."

"I have some things of my own to take care of, so I'm going to head off on my own. the Pokémon center is down that street, fifth building on the right. you can't miss it, misty explained as she took off in a different direction."

"I wonder where she's going?" Stanley asked."

"Probably going to do some shopping or something," Lincoln theorized as he and brock headed down the street misty directed them to."

"That's not surprising," Carl said."

"So Lincoln, be a pal and clue me in on your battle strategy," brock said."

"Well, seeing as how I'm going to be facing misty today, my plan is to have Pikachu act as my powerhouse, for one thing," Lincoln said."

"Wait, you knew all along misty was the gym leader here?" brock asked."

"Wait, she's the gym leader?" Sisiki asked." She's only 12."

"But she's seen as an adult honey," Chipiri said."

"Eh, I figured it out a while back. it was actually while we were in pewter city that's when my suspicions started, all because she mentioned how unprofessional you are outside of battle. only a gym leader would know something about one another gym leader," Lincoln replied."

"Wow, impressive detective work Lincoln," Albert said."

"Thanks to Ace Savy and David Steel," Lincoln said."

"Man, misty is going to be pissed when she learns you've known along," brock commented before remembering something that Lincoln just said," wait, she said I was unprofessional?"

"Well, considering how you were trying to woo the nurse joy back there, it's kind of hard to call that unprofessional behavior. it's kind of like how all my sisters except for my baby sister because she's 1 acted when I got a tutor this one time, even though I acted the same when my class had that hot substitute teacher," Lincoln replied."

The sisters get mad.

"We so did not!" Leni said."

"You guys and dad chased Hugh down the street!" Lincoln said."

"What are you talking about?" Rita asked."

Lincoln explained what happened during study muffin. Rita gets upset.

"Girls! I can't believe you did that and denied going bonkers over him!" She said." (to Lynn sr.) "And you should've stopped them."

"But he was so handsome," Lola said dramatically."

"And besides, he was flunking because of his crush on Ms. Dimartino," Lori said."

"Yeah, except I didn't take a picture of her butt," Lincoln said shutting Lori up." (thinking) 'Even though Rusty tried too.'

The teens and Bobby deadpan Lori.

"And unlike you guys I admit that I along with the rest of the guys do go bonkers around Ms. Dimartino," Lincoln said."

The boys his age and older nod in agreement.

"It's true," Girl Jordan said."

"And what's worse, you didn't feel bad for him failing a test," Rita said." We are having a long talk after this episode."

The sisters and Lynn sr. nodded scared."

"You have sisters? how many do you have? and are any of them uh...single by any chance?" brock asked in interest."

"Is he serious?" Carlota asked."

"I have 10 sisters, with me being the middle child," Lincoln replied." I told you before back at your house."

"Oh right. so, uh...are any of them looking for a boyfriend?" brock asked."

Lincoln only gave him annoyed look.

"Dude, those are my sisters you're talking about! I'm not going to dignify that with a response!" Lincoln replied before storming off leaving the 15-year-old to sulk."

"Jeez brock, asking him something like that," Bobby said." even I wouldn't answer that."

"Me neither," CJ said."

"Crap, I should've been a bit more subtle. now he must think I'm a creep." brock said."

"He already is," Dana said."

meanwhile, in another part of cerulean city.

"Ah, it's good to finally be back!" misty said as she walked through the streets, eventually arriving at a building that said, 'cerulean city gym'."

outside, she saw a flyer on the bulletin board.

"Huh, what's this?" misty wondered as she took a moment to examine it closer, only for her face to contort in annoyance."

the sensational cerulean city synchronized swimming sisters.

"Hey, it's her hot sisters," Roger said."

"Ugh! why am I not surprised?" misty groaned as she entered through the front door."

upon entering the lobby, she heard three female voices that sounded like they were coming closer.

"That dive was totally awesome, Violet! I think it was the best one yet!" Lily said."

"Thanks Lily! but Daisy wasn't too shabby with her dive either." Violet said."

"that's true. all that practice really paid off, Lily." Daisy said."

"For sure!" Lily said."

"Totes love their hair colors," Leni said."

(sighed in annoyance) "well, I had to meet up with them eventually. might as well get it out of the way," misty groaned as the door opened, and her sisters stepped through."

they were very surprised to see misty.

"Misty? is that you? Lily asked."

"Yeah, I'm back," misty replied."

"Well, welcome home. you're looking good, though not as good as us, but still good nevertheless," daisy said with a look of mock thoughtfulness on her face."

"Wow, saying something like that to her sister is not cool," Becky said."

"Didn't you say you weren't coming home until you were a water Pokémon master? what happened? chicken out?" Violet teased."

"No! if you must know, I came back to make sure you three were pulling your weight and taking care of the gym!" misty replied irritably."

"I'm guessing they weren't," Carlota said."

after taking a moment to calm down, she then asked.

"So, how are things with the gym? any challengers come by?" Misty asked."

"Actually, we had three challengers here the other day, and each one of them mopped the floor with us," daisy replied."

"They all came from this nowhere place called 'pallet town'. all three of them were really strong, misty," violet added."

"Well, maybe if you three spent half as much time training your Pokémon as you did preparing for your shows, you wouldn't have gotten flattened so easily," misty chastised."

"She's got a point," Lori said."

"Well, it isn't our fault that we inherited all the good looks in the family, and you got...literally everything else," lily countered only for misty to pitch both of her cheeks, hard." ow, ow, ow! uncle uncle!"

"Wow, that was not cool of her to say," Luna said." And its something Lola would say."

"EXCUSE ME!" Lola said."

"Don't deny it, we all know you say that," Lincoln said."

Lola could say anything.

"She's right you know!" a voice said making the four sisters turned to see an older woman walking towards them, with long flowing pink hair with orange tips." The three of you are supposed to help your little sister run the gym, and that means testing each trainer who comes through here to see if they're worthy of the cascade badge!"

"But mom, we..." daisy was cut off."

"Another hot mom!" Rusty said."

The guy's minus Miguel looked in awe while the girls rolled their eyes.

"No buts! starting tomorrow, your shows are going to be held on a weekly basis, instead of being daily. the rest of the time you three will spend training," their mother declared."

"Yes mom," three sisters said."

"Good. now then, misty, it's good to see you again so soon," the mother of the four said."

"And it's good to see you too, mom. by the way, there's going to be another trainer coming in today, and I plan to battle him," misty said."

"Oh? how do you know it's a he?" violet asked in a teasing tone."

(ignoring Violet) "When I was coming over, I passed by, saying that he was going for his second badge," misty replied."

"Darn, I was hoping that you finally found a boy you like," daisy said."

"Girls, your sisters love life is none of your concern!" their mother yelled causing them to freeze up." Now, if you say there's going to be a challenger, then you should go and get ready to meet him in battle."

"Man, those sisters shouldn't meddle in their sisters love life," Luan said."

"Yeah, just like certain sisters meddled in mine and Lucy's love life," Lincoln said."

The sisters winced realizing he was right remembering trying to help Lucy impress Rocky and when Ronnie Anne bullied him. Everyone agreed with Lincoln including the parents and grandparents.

"Right away. by the way, are there any spare water stones lying around?" misty asked."

"Actually, yes. we have one in storage," Misty's mother replied." do you need me to get it for you?"

"Yes. could you bring it to the locker room later?" misty asked as she went through the double doors."

"What's she up to?" Mazzy asked."

"No idea," Sully replied."

"And as for you three, make plans for training tomorrow, because I intent to whip each oof you into shape to be proper gym leaders," their mother said."

daisy, violet, and lily all grimaced. they wish now that they had kept up on their training.

meanwhile, at the Pokémon center in the lobby,

while brock was attempting to serenade nurse joy, Lincoln was healing his Pokémon while carefully going over each of the TMs he had gotten from the treasure stash he had gotten from pewter city.

"So, what's the deal with looking over these TMs? aren't our move sets good enough already?" Pikachu asked."

"Well, we're going to face misty today, right?" Lincoln asked."

to which Pikachu nodded.

"Well, she's been traveling with us all this time, and she pretty much knows what each member of our team is capable of. so, if I use some TMs, I can teach you guys some new moves." Lincoln said."

"I see, that way you can catch her off guard," Pikachu said now seeing Lincoln's logic."

"That's very smart Lincoln," Lisa said."

"And we can see those new moves," Lana said."

"Exactly. although, I would like to be able to expand our TM repertoire. we have this bug type TM for something called u-turn', which I can teach to beedrill and butterfree, but having some additional moves to teach would be helpful," Lincoln said."

"I get what you're saying. but apart from moves like protect that you taught poliwag, I don't see any electric or grass type moves that you can teach us," Pikachu said eyeing each USB stick."

"Yeah. well, I suppose we can always go and browse the pokemart," Lincoln said as he put away his TMs."

"Can't hurt to have more just in case," Lucy said."

he got up and made his way over to the pokemart. he went straight over to the TMs.

"Let's see, what moves look good?" said while grimacing at the prices of some of the more expensive ones. he then saw one particular USB, a yellow one." this one might be a winner."

"Look at those prices, its highway robbery," Carl said."

"But that yellow one looks like a real winner," Casey said."

he brought it over to the counter.

"Hello. find everything you need?" the clerk asked."

"I believe so," Lincoln replied." what can you tell me about this TM?"

"An excellent question! that particular TM contains the move thunder punch," the clerk replied."

"Thunder punch'?" Lincoln asked."

"Indeed. the user cloaks itself first in electricity, then unleashes a punch against the opponent. it may also paralyze the opposing Pokémon," the clerk replied."

"That sounds very useful," Laird said."

"Hmm, if I had this, then maybe riolu could get into the battle. after all, he's gotten a little stronger since mount moon. I think I'll take this one," Lincoln said as he bought the new TM,"

"And as an added bonus, you can learn this move too, Pikachu." the clerk said."

"Great! can't wait!" Pikachu commented."

later, outside the cerulean city gym.

Lincoln, brock, and Pikachu were standing before a building that Lincoln thought looked like a circus tent. he then saw the words "Pokémon gym" over the front door.

"So, this is it, huh?" Lincoln questioned."

"Yep, it looks like a water gym," Pikachu replied."

"You're right Lincoln. this is the cerulean city Pokémon gym," brock said before noticing a flyer on a bulletin board." huh? water shows? must be something new they're doing." (before noticing the three women in the flyer) "wow! what knockouts!"

"Now he's after misty's sisters," Nikki said."

Lincoln recognized them from when misty was helping him catch poliwag.

"Those are Misty's sisters." Lincoln said."

"They are?" brock asked turning towards the white-haired boy."

"Yeah, when she helped me out with catching poliwag, she told me about them," Lincoln replied as they entered the gym."

the inside looked like some kind of aquarium.

"Is this a gym or an aquarium?" Lynn asked."

"Maybe both," Margo replied."

"Well, there's no shortage of water theme here." Lincoln said."

"Welcome to the cerulean city Pokémon gym! I take it you're the next challenger?" the voice of Misty's mother asked as she approached the two of them."

"Yes, I am. I would like to request a battle challenge," Lincoln replied."

"Very good. then follow me, and I'll show you to the battlefield," Misty's mother said."

both boys followed Misty's mom through the halls, eventually arriving at the battlefield, where daisy, lily, and violet were waiting.

"Girls, you have a challenger!" Misty's mother said."

Lincoln immediately felt something was off. he was under the impression that misty was the gym leader of cerulean city.

"So, this is our new challenger?" daisy asked."

"Indeed. this is...I'm sorry, what's your name?" their mother asked."

"It's Lincoln, Lincoln loud, from royal woods, Michigan," Lincoln replied."

the four women were surprised.

"A foreigner? that's certainly rare," daisy commented."

"Why do they keep saying that?" Luna said."

"Well, Lincoln came from a non-region," Sam replied."

"Not as rare an opportunity to go out with another gym leader!" brock said as he got down on one knee." my name is brock and was the gym leader over in pewter city. the ravishing beauty all three of you display makes me go wild! so, I must ask if any of you are free later today, when we can go and enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant, or perhaps I can whip something up from my own personal cookbook." (Holding a ladle.)

The three sisters felt a little uncomfortable.

"Er...thanks for the offer, but we've actually got appointments later that we can't afford to skip," daisy replied nervously."

"Rejected again," brock commented dejectedly."

(Laughs) "Got turned down again," Carl said."

"He come on to strong," Rusty said."

"So, back to you, Lincoln, you've come to challenge the gym for a badge, right?" violet asked quickly shifting away from brock."

"Yes. I'm assuming one of you three are the gym leader?" Lincoln asked."

"you're right about that, in a way," Lily replied."

"what's that supposed to mean?" Lincoln asked pretending to be confused."

"You see, all three of us are gym leaders. you only need to battle one of us to earn the gym badge," Lily explained."

"I see. so, shall we then?" Lincoln asked."

but the three of them all turned away, disinterested looks on their faces.

"Well, the thing is, we're kind of out of Pokémon that are able to battle," Lily replied."

"Yeah, each of us got beaten in a row by some really strong trainers from pallet town," daisy added."

"Really? that must mean red, leaf and Gary have passed through here already," Lincoln commented."

"Looks like it," Lincoln said."

"Yeah. and right now, the only Pokémon we have is this one," violet said as she sent out a small white fish like Pokémon with orange markings on its tail, fins, and body, and with a horn on the top of its head. it flopped around aimlessly, as Lincoln pulled out his pokedex to scan it."

"Goldeen, the goldfish Pokémon, a water type. when the weather turns warm, goldeen form large groups and swing upriver. this sight serves as a reminder that spring has come, the pokedex said."

"Wait, so this goldeen is all that you have left?" Lincoln asked hiding a tone of suspicion."

"Seriously, that's all they have left?" Paula asked."

"Yeah, but if it could only evolve into a seaking, then maybe we could consider taking you on, but right now, all goldeen knows only horn attack, flail, and peck. any Pokémon you send out would make quick work of it," violet replied recalling goldeen."

Pikachu sniffed the air and immediately sensed something was off.

"They're lying, Lincoln. I can smell a bunch of other Pokémon here besides that goldeen." Pikachu said."

"Is that so? hmm, they must be trying to get me to go away," Lincoln deduced."

"But for what reason?" Pikachu asked."

"I don't know, but we're not leaving here without that badge," Lincoln replied turning back to face the three sisters once more with a look of faux disappointment on his face." So, I guess I'm not going to be able to battle today, right?"

"They're definitely up to something," Lana said."

"Afraid not, but there is something we can do to make it up for it. seel, come on out!" Lily called out, as a white seal Pokémon jumped out of the water. Lincoln once again scanned it."

"seel, the sea lion Pokémon, a water type. it loves freezing cold temperatures and is always seen swimming in waters measuring at 14 degrees Fahrenheit," his pokedex explained."

"Awe so cute," Jackie said."

seel then stuck its tongue out, with a water drop shaped badge on it. lily then retrieved it.

"Here, take this cascade badge as a token of our apology," Lily offered."

but Lincoln remained suspicious.

"Wait, you're just giving it to me? what's the catch?" Lincoln asked."

"There's always a catch," Sameer said."

"No catch. just take it," Lily insisted."

Lincoln had to admit, the offer of getting a badge without a battle was tempting, but he could sense something was off. his suspicions were only reaffirmed upon seeing brock eyeing him carefully.

"Sorry, but there would be no honor in accepting a badge without actually earning it," Lincoln finally replied."

"Well said, Lincoln!" a familiar voice said as they all turned to the source, seeing misty up in the stands, looking down at them. she then leapt down between her sisters and her friends." and it's a fair gym battle for the cascade badge that you want, then it's one you'll get!"

"He should've taken it," Lola said."

"Where's the fun in that?" Winston asked."

"You three need to work on your observation skills. that Pikachu was sniffing the air and probably picked up on the scents of all the other Pokémon we have here," their mother said."

"Damn, I knew we were forgetting something!" daisy groaned."

"Nice work Pikachu," Lincoln said."

"Well, in case, you passed the test of character, Lincoln, and now have the to challenge misty to a battle," violet stated."

"Wait, what do you mean 'test of character'?" Lincoln asked."

Everyone was confused.

"You see, kiddo, many gyms in the kanto region, as well as all other regions have a test to see if challengers are worthy of facing the leaders. by refusing to accept a gym badge for free, you passed the cerulean city gym test of character," the mother of four replied."

"Oh, that makes sense," Lynn sr. said."

"It's true. all gym leaders have one in place to keep less than honorable challengers from earning gym badges. after all, what good does able to enter the Pokémon league do if you cheat your way in?" brock asked."

"Good point," Lincoln replied."

"That's a good way to separate the good and bad trainers," Rita said."

"So, I bet you were surprised to see me here, huh?" misty asked."

"Actually, I knew you were the gym leader since we left pewter city," Lincoln replied."

"Wait, what?!" misty exclaimed."

"I figured it out when I took note of three different things: one, you specialize in water type Pokémon, two, you're from cerulean city, and three, you know brock well enough to know how he acts around a pretty girl," Lincoln explained."

"I plan on getting you back for thar remark you made," brock chimed in."

"She feels embarrassed," Sid said."

"*ahem* well, in that case, we'll use the same rules like your battle with brock, except we're using three Pokémon instead of two," misty said."

"And no substitutions' is still in place?" Lincoln asked."

"Yup it is. now then, I have to get ready, so if you'll take your place in the challenger's box over there, I'll be out momentarily," misty said."

"Very well then," Lincoln said."

"And I'll be acting referee," Misty's mother volunteered."

"Hold up, misty! if you're going to battle, then you've got to dress the part. fortunately, we have just the outfit in mind," daisy stated."

"What is she talking about?" Adelaide asked."

"No Idea," Darcy replied."

The teens and adults figured it out and blushed.

"I can't believe her sister is suggesting that," Rita whispered."

misty blushed furiously, knowing what she was talking about.

"No, absolutely not! no way in hell is that happening!" misty yelled."

"You're right. that outfit is far too showy. thankfully, I have your stage outfit on standby," Misty's mother said turning to her older daughters." make sure that's the outfit she wears."

"Yes mom!" the three of them chimed as they dragged their little sister off."

'Thank you, Misty's mother,' Rita thought.'

a little later,

Lincoln was waiting patiently for misty to come back so that they could get the battle underway.

"Ok, so it'll be Pikachu, for sure, along with beedrill and butterfree, since I promised I use them in the next battle," Lincoln said as for riolu and ralts they were released from their pokeballs."

"Hi Mr. Lincoln, are you choosing a team for your gym battle? can I be a part of it too?" Riolu asked excitedly."

"He's really eager to battle," Paula said."

"Sorry riolu not this time because I promised to use Pikachu, beedrill and butterfree I would use them to battle, but I promise I'll let you battle the next gym, but for now I want you and ralts to watch the battle for now," Lincoln replied."

"Ok, that seems fair." riolu said."

"O-ok," ralts replied blushing a bit."

"It'll be good to watch and learn," Stanley said."

it was then misty, and her sisters returned, and Lincoln...looked puzzled at the costume she was wearing. it looked like a generic mermaid costume, complete with coral hair accessories, a starfish bra, and a long, teal fish tail.

"Uh, misty, what are you wearing?" Lincoln asked."

"Don't ask, they insisted that I wear this," misty replied as she took her spot in the opposite box, while riolu and ralts sat in the stands with brock."

"Seriously, a mermaid?" Liam asked."

"I think she looks pretty," Darcy replied."

"Yeah," Adelaide said."

"Not as much as me if I were a mermaid," Lola said."

"Alright, this official cerulean city gym battle between Lincoln loud the challenger, and misty the gym leader will now get underway! both trainers may use no more than three Pokémon, no substitutions. the battle will be over when all or either side's Pokémon are declared unable to battle! now then, if both trainers will send out their Pokémon?" Misty's mother asked of the two."

"My first choice will be poliwhirl!" misty said as she sent out her poliwhirl."

"Then my choice will be beedrill!" Lincoln said as he sent out beedrill."

"Alright, poliwhirl vs beedrill. the challenger has the first move, so battle BEGIN!" Misty's mother declared."

"Ok Beedrill, fight!" Lana said."

alright beedrill, use pin missile!" Lincoln instructed."

"Roger that!" beedrill replied, as he shot sting like missiles at the tadpole Pokémon."

"poliwhirl, into the water!" misty instructed."

poliwhirl then dived into the water, dodging beedrill's attack.

"Dang it," Kayla said."

"Alright, where'd it go?" Lincoln wondered."

"Now, use water gun!" misty said."

a stream of water erupted from the pool, striking beedrill in the air, knocking it off balance.

"Attacks from the water, huh? hmm," Lincoln pondered before he got an idea." beedrill use whirlwind on the water!"

"Wait what now?" Clyde asked."

"I see, whirlwind can capture and trap anyone in it," Carlos said." Very clever Lincoln."

"Wait, what?" misty was very confused as beedrill flew in a circle really fast making a whirlpool making poliwhirl fly up then crash on the surface looking dizzy."

"I knew it! water Pokémon can't escape whirlpool, even if poliwhirl swam fast!" Lincoln said."

"Huh, that's pretty smart of Misty's boyfriend," Daisy commented."

"HE'S/I'M NOT MY/HER BOYFRIEND! the two of them yelled."

"Seriously, they just assumed they're boyfriend and girlfriend," Fiona said."

"Talk about assuming things," Gavin said." what kind of morons would do that?"

The sisters winced knowing that they did that with Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.

"But in any case, now that poliwhirl's to dizzy for now, time to strike. beedrill use pin missile, once again!" Lincoln instructed."

beedrill once again shot needle like misses at poliwhirl.

"Quick, use mega punch to block the attack!" misty instructed only for poliwhirl to punch itself then got hit with the missiles," aw man, confused or dizzy I hate it so much!"

"beedrill finish this with poison jab!" Lincoln instructed."

beedrill flew towards poliwhirl and started jabbing at it until it went down in defeat.

"poliwhirl is unable to battle, the winner is beedrill!" Misty's mother declared, as misty recalled poliwhirl."

"Alright, he won the first round," Stella said."

"Time for round 2," Kara said."

"You did great, poliwhirl. leave the rest to us," misty said as she turned her attention back to Lincoln." you really surprised me when you use whirlwind towards the water. how'd you know that?"

"My little sister explained the wind current to make whirlpools to me one time, so I figured it would come in handy one day," Lincoln replied."

"Good thing I told you about it," Lisa said."

"Alright, enough gabbing you two. misty, your second Pokémon," her mother said insistently."

"Right, and my next Pokémon is..." as she grabbed a pokeball from her belt emerged dewpider." what?! I wanted to bring out my newly evolved starmie, not you, dewpider!"

"That's surprising, a Pokémon come out without being called out," Joey said."

"Some Pokémon can do that," Kai said."

"where'd you get that Pokémon, misty?" her mother asked."

"a wonder trade I did back in pewter city. I also got buizel and skrelp as well," misty replied."

"And you kept dewpider? even with your fear of bug types?" violet asked."

"I was convinced to give it a chance, ok?" misty yelled."

"Well, our bro is the master of convincing," Luna said."

"Well, if you're giving it a chance as part of your team, then why not give it a chance in the battle? it may be a bit unorthodox using a Pokémon not native to the kanto region, but still, her mother suggested."

"Oh, alright," misty relented as she stashed away her other pokeball."

"Now then, resume the match!" her mother declared."

"Since I don't know much about dewpider apart being a water and bug type, we need to be careful. beedrill, keep your distance as best you can!" Lincoln called out."

"Right!" beedrill replied."

"Good advice link," Luan said."

misty pulled out a smartphone and tapped a few buttons.

"Ok, here are dewpider's moves. let's start with icy wind!" misty instructed."

dewpider then fired off a bone chilling wind, that seemed to damage beedrill a lot, as his movements became more sluggish.

"what's going on?!" Lincoln questioned noticing how much slower beedrill was moving."

"That's not good," Stella said."

He pulls out his pokedex.

"Info: icy wind: an ice type move that utilizes a freezing wind to attack. the move can sometimes reduce the Pokémon's speed stat," his pokedex explained."

"Aw crud," Lynn said."

"Tsk, in that case, we got to act fast! beedrill, use pin missile!" Lincoln instructed."

beedrill began to shoot missiles but they were moving slowly.

"Alright dewpider, dodge and use bubblebeam!" misty exclaimed."

dewpider then fired off a powerful stream of bubbles that pushed beedrill back, causing it to land on a rock on the water completely spent.

"beedrill, are you ok?!" asked."

"Truthfully? no. I'm really tired out," beedrill replied before collapsing in exhaustion."

"beedrill is unable to battle, the winner is dewpider!" Misty's mother declared."

"Darn it, that move really got him," Zach said."

Lincoln then recalled beedrill.

"You did great, beedrill. we'll handle things from here," Lincoln said as he got out his second pokeball." alright butterfree, you're up!"

he got out his pokeball and sent out butterfree.

"Alright let's do this, Lincoln!" butterfree said."

"Alright, Butterfree's up," Lana said."

"Alright, butterfree vs dewpider. battle, begin!" Misty's mother declared."

"We need to be careful of icy wind, butterfree, so let's start off with quick attack in zigzag!" Lincoln instructed."

"Alright then!" butterfree said as he flew zigzagging with a streak of white being left behind him."

"Sweet, going fast he can't get hit," Lynn said."

"dewpider, quick, use icy wind and slow down butterfree!" misty instructed."

dewpider once again fired icy wind, but butterfree dodged it, by twirling around it and behind dewpider, before it had a chance to react.

"Butterfree, use sleep powder on dewpider making it fall asleep," Lincoln instructed."

Butterfree uses sleep powder and made dewpider drowsy and sleep.

"Nice and a useful move," Lola said."

"Alright, now to finish this off now! use psybeam!" Lincoln instructed."

butterfree's eyes began to glow then fires at dewpider.

"dewpider, use protect!" misty intructed."

dewpider couldn't do anything because its asleep, thus dewpider was hit then knocked out.

"Round 2 to Lincoln," Sameer said."

"dewpider is unable to battle, the winner is butterfree," Misty's mother declared, as misty recalled dewpider."

"Our first battle together, but we'll get better that's a promise," misty said as she pulled out her last pokeball."

"Looks like she's starting to get used to her new Pokémon," Nikki said."

"Nice work butterfree, you really trained while you were with professor oak," Lincoln said while misty overheard."

"Hmm confident are we now, for the pride of cerulean city gym, our ace Pokémon! misty said tossing the pokeball releasing a massive, blue sea serpent like Pokémon with a three-pointed crest on its face."

Everyone screams after seeing the Pokémon. Laird jumps into Lincoln's arms

"What the heck is that?!" Lance asked." It looks like something dad would hunt down."

"I definitely would," Leonard said."

"Wait, that was one of the Pokémon from Lincoln's dream," Leni said."

"Hey, she's right," Becky said."

Lincoln felt something coming down his arms.

"Laird, please tell me that's sweat coming down your leg," He said."

Laird could only chuckle making Lincoln look deadpan drop him.

"No worries," Kai said as he cleans things up."

"Thanks Kai," Lincoln said."

"Oh my god! that's my next opponent?!" butterfree asked freaking out and turning back to Lincoln, who had a thoughtful look on his face. it looked almost, nostalgic."

'that's one of the Pokémon I saw in my dreams back home,' Lincoln thought as another vision appeared in his mind where he's up a mountain and he saw the same serpent flying in circles, until he snapped back to reality, then pulled out his pokedex, and pointed it at the sea serpent.'

Everyone looked confused.

"Another vision?" Lynn asked." and that thing can fly?"

"Gyrados, the atrocious Pokémon, a water and flying type. gyarados's temper is legendary, and there are records of its rampages lasting for an entire month. one of these records indicates that a gyarados razed an entire village to the ground after the villagers had angered it in some fashion," his pokedex explained."

"So, its temper is worse than Lola's?" Lana asked."

"That's surprising," Carl said."

Lola growls at that comment.

"Link? you ok?" Pikachu asked looking up at Lincoln tugging on his pants."

"Huh? oh, sorry Pikachu, I was lost in thought," Lincoln replied." Ok, butterfree use sleep powder on gyarados!"

"Right," butterfree replied as he was about to use his move but gyarados's face was too scary."

"That thing is really scary," Darcy said hiding behind Lisa."

"Gyarados use slam!" misty instructed as gyarados slammed it tail on butterfree knocking him out."

"butterfree is unable to battle, gyarados wins," Misty's mother declared."

"Whoa, didn't see that coming," Casey said."

"Crud, just one hit, I can see why it's their ace of cerulean city, Pikachu you're our last hope," Lincoln said looking at Pikachu."

"Right, I won't underestimate it," Pikachu declared jumping on the stadium."

"The final battle Pikachu vs gyarados let the final battle begin," misty mother declared."

"Go Pikachu!" Ronnie Anne said."

"Pikachu use electro ball!" Lincoln instructed."

Pikachu charged up electro ball and hurled it at gyarados.

"Gyarados, use twister!" misty instructed."

gyarados summoned twister to block Pikachu's attack.

"Crud," Lynn said."

"Now, use dragon dance!" misty instructed."

gyarados then began twisting and twirling its body around, causing it to glow red.

"What was that?" Lincoln questioned looking at his pokedex."

"Info: dragon dance: a dragon type status move that increases the user's attack and speed," his pokedex explained."

"Oh man, that can't be good!" Lincoln exclaimed."

"Really not good," Punguari said."

"that's right, gyarados, use ice fang!" misty instructed."

gyarados' fang became cloaked in ice, as it sped towards Pikachu.

"Dodge and use thunder shock!" Lincoln instructed."

Pikachu desperately dodged ice fang, before unleashing thunder shock at point blank range, causing a lot of damage to gyarados, who remained standing.

"That was close, but it's still standing," Rita said."

"Gyarados use aqua tail!" misty instructed."

gyarados' tail became enveloped in water, as it swung at Pikachu.

"Dodge it and use electro ball," Lincoln instructed as Pikachu dodged the attack by jumping in the air."

"Quick use ice fang and stop the attack!" misty instructed."

gyarados charged at Pikachu, in an attempt to use ice fang.

"Quick, switch to iron tail and smack it down!" Lincoln instructed."

"Hurry!" Lynn sr. said."

Pikachu did so but failed to notice that he had still charged up the electro ball, which seemed to have fused with iron tail, coating Pikachu's tail in electricity. the voltage from the attack appeared to be evaporating the water around Lincoln.

"what's up with my tail?" Pikachu questioned."

"Could iron tail be absorbing the electro ball energy?" Lincoln theorized."

"Could be. but it's kind of starting to burn right now, so I need to get to deal with this now!" Pikachu called back."

"That sounds awesome," Carl said."

"Most interesting," Lisa said."

"Oh, right! Pikachu use...whatever this is!" Lincoln instructed."

Pikachu then charged at gyarados, and with a mighty swing of its tail, a sound like a gunshot went off, as gyarados was sent hurdling back into the wall, completely spent from the battle.

"YEOWCH! IT F***ING HURTS! why does it sting so badly?!" Pikachu screamed in pain as he held his tail."

"That was rockin!" Luna said."

"To bad there was a side effect," Sam said."

"True, but he still won," Sully said."

"Gyarados is unable to battle, the winner is Pikachu! therefore victory goes to Lincoln loud!" Misty's mother declared still in a daze from what she had just witnessed."

"No way, what even was that?" misty questioned as she recalled gyarados."

"Heck if I know. it just happened when Pikachu was switching from electro ball to iron tail," Lincoln replied as he helped with Pikachu's tail by using his potions."

"Good thing he has potions," Carlota said."

"I don't care what it was, we're never doing that again unless it's necessary!" Pikachu snapped."

"You want to use it again?" Lincoln asked surprised."

"Yes, that attack was far stronger than anything I've ever produced in my life. it'll be stupid NOT to use it again," Pikachu replied."

"He's got a point, why not use it again?" CJ said."

"With enough training, it won't hurt anymore," Sid said."

"Ok, but what would we call that move?" Lincoln wondered."

"How about volt tail," Misty's mother suggested."

"Hmm, volt tail, huh? has a nice ring to it. thank you for that," Lincoln said."

"It sounds perfect," Lincoln said."

"You're welcome. now then, here are your prizes for defeating misty," Misty's mother said presenting Lincoln a blue colored TM, and the prize he's been longing for-the cascade badge."

"Awesome! thanks so much for this," Lincoln said before looking at the TM he got as a bonus, hmm, water pulse. guess now I can stop mooching of Misty's TM."

"Well, congrats on your win. but that last move really was just made up that moment?" misty asked joining the group."

"Yeah, we're just as surprised as you, but I better take Pikachu to the center" Lincoln replied as he takes Pikachu to the out of the gym recalling riolu and ralts."

"I'd better go with him," brock stated following after Lincoln."

"I should take gyarados and the others to get treated as well, misty said as she made her way for the locker room."

"Alrighty you three, round up the other Pokémon, and we'll take them over as well," the mother of four ordered her three daughters."

"YES MA'AM!" they exclaimed before rushing off."

"Smart idea to get them healed," Maria said."

later at the Pokémon center,

"I'm doing some wonder trading Pikachu, then I'll give professor oak a call," Lincoln said as he left Pikachu, beedrill and butterfree in the care of nurse joy."

"Roger that," Pikachu said as he and others were wheeled off by Chansey."

"I say it suits you two as a partners mom and dad," Ronnie Anne said."

Arturo and Maria pondered on that.

"So, how do you wonder trade?" brock asked."

"Just put your pokeballs on the machine and press the trade button and your Pokémon get sent off and you get new Pokémon in return," Lincoln replied."

"Fair enough, I'll do with the two geodude I caught in mount moon," brock said as they headed towards the wonder trade station." mind if I take a crack at it first?"

"Go for it," Lincoln replied."

"I wonder what he'll get," Lori said."

brock placed the first of his first two pokeballs into the machine, and hit the trade button, sending it away in a flash of light then returned with two pokeballs. one was a dusk ball, and the second one was regular pokeball.

"A dusk ball, it must be a scary one," Lucy said."

"Alright, let's see what I got!" brock said as he tossed his two new pokeballs."

from the first one, emerged a grayish green Pokémon that looked like a floating plate with glowing yellow eyes. the second one, yielded a small green bud like Pokémon.

"Wow a bronzor and a bedew," brock said excitedly."

"Too cool," Lincoln said pulling out his pokedex his pokedex."

"bronzor, the bronze Pokémon, a steel and psychic type. polishing bronzor's body will reveal truth. that being said, this Pokémon hates being polished." the pokedex explained."

"budew, the bud Pokémon, a grass and poison type. budew is highly sensitive to temperature change. when its bud opens, it's a sign that spring is right around the corner," the pokedex explained."

"Wow, they look cool. but does Bronzor have a mouth?" Carl asked."

"Probably," CJ replied."

"But I do like that Budew," Howard said."

"Now it's Lincoln's turn," Fiona said."

"Now it's my turn, I wonder what Pokémon I'll get?" Lincoln commented as he put the pokeballs containing his two cleffa's and clefairy in the machine." here's hoping you three like your new trainer."

he sends them off, getting three new pokeballs in return. they were three friend balls.

"Ooh, friend balls," Adelaide said." they must be good ones."

"Alright let's see what I got!" Lincoln said as he tossed his pokeballs, releasing his newly obtained Pokémon."

From the three friend balls emerged a small, red fruit like Pokémon with a propeller like sepals on the top of its head, the second Pokémon was a little light brown puppy with little rocks around its neck, and the third Pokémon was a small, lavender and white slug Pokémon with green spots its sides.

seeing the lavender Pokémon Lincoln was seeing another image with the lavender Pokémon with a bigger look alikes but with shells on their backs with the same person resembling ren until he snapped out of it.

"Another fruit like Pokémon, a puppy, and a slime?" Lola asked."

"And Lincoln having another vision of that slug growing a shell," Cricket said."

"Alright, so, who are these Pokémon?" Lincoln wondered as he scanned each Pokémon." (thinking) 'but why do I know this lavender Pokémon?'

"Seriously, how does he know them?" Lynn asked."

"I feel that we'll find out as we keep going," Lincoln replied." but for now, let's see who my new Pokémon are."

"bounsweet, the fruit Pokémon, a grass type. although it's too sugary for human consumption, bounsweet's sweat can be watered down into juice with just the right amount of sweetness. this bounsweet knows the moves sweet scent, razor leaf, rapid spin, splash, play nice, and grass whistle," the pokedex explained."

"rockruff, the puppy Pokémon, a rock type. this Pokémon travels in a pack with others until it grows up. when its mood turns sour, it'll strike the ground with the rocks on its neck. rockruff knows the moves rock throw, crunch, sand attack, roar, dig, stone edge, and counter," the pokedex explained."

"goomy, the soft tissue Pokémon, and the weakest of all dragon type Pokémon. it's covered in a slimy membrane that allows attacks made against it slide off effortlessly. it likes dark and damp places as not to dry out. this goomy knows the moves tackle, bubble, absorb, bide, protect, and poison tail," his pokedex explained, as the three Pokémon looked up at their new trainer curiously."

"Wow, they do sound awesome," Leni said." And why would they say Goomy's the weakest it doesn't look like a dragon?"

"Well, looks can be deceiving," Miguel replied."

"And it may look weak, but it'll get stronger by turning into those forms we just saw," Margo said."

"Hi there, I'm Lincoln loud, and starting today I'm your new trainer, so let's be friends," Lincoln said extending his hand in friendship to his Pokémon."

"Wait, did you say your last name was 'loud'?" bounsweet asked."

"Yes, why do you ask?" Lincoln asked."

"Well, my old trainer had the same last name. if I recall, his name was Leonard," bounsweet replied."

Lincoln was shocked.

"that's my gramps' name!" Lincoln said."

"your 'gramps'?" bounsweet asked."

"My grandfather on my dad's side of my family," Lincoln said." who knew he was adventuring in a Pokémon region too?"

Everyone was shocked.

"Wait, Bounsweet was my Pokémon?" Leonard asked."

"Looks like it dad," Lance replied." I bet Albert been and still has his Pokémon and are going to show the family someday."

Everyone mostly Albert pondered on that.

"Well, why don't we go and get to know our new Pokémon while we wait for misty?" brock asked."

"Sounds good. but before that, I should call professor oak and let him know about everything that's happened between now and the last time I called him," Lincoln replied as he recalled his three new Pokémon, and they excited the wonder trade station."

"That would be of the utmost importance," brock said."

"Yeah, and I'm planning on calling home again later tonight," Lincoln added as they entered the lobby."

"That's good to hear. that means more will apologize to him," Myrtle said."

no sooner than they did, the Pokémon center chime went off.

"Mr. loud, I'm happy to report that everyone is feeling just fine, nurse joy said as all three Pokémon were looking better."

"Hey fellas! how're you feeling?" Lincoln asked."

"I feel great! even though that gyarados was scary," butterfree replied."

"True on that part," Stella said."

"My first battle was fun," beedrill, stated."

"And my tail doesn't sting anymore," Pikachu added looking at his tail."

"Well, that's good to hear. by the way, I got some new teammates I want you guys to meet," Lincoln said as he sent out three new Pokémon, along with ralts and riolu, everyone, meet bounsweet, rockruff, and goomy. guys, these are Pikachu, butterfree, beedrill, ralts, and riolu, you guys get to know each other, while I go make a call to professor oak."

Lincoln introduced everyone to the new members of his party, and versa, before heading over to the video phones, leaving his seven Pokémon to converse, until he noticed a rock in his backpack.

"Now he notices the rock that knocked him out," Paula said."

"Hey brock what's this?" Lincoln asked as showed brock a rock with a green rock that looks like a feather with four waves on top."

Brock looked surprised seeing the rock.

"Whoa that's a sail fossil," brock said excitedly looking at it."

"A sail fossil? what do you mean?" Lincoln asked."

"Yeah, what does he mean?" Lynn asked."

"It contains a fossilized Pokémon that lived million years ago!" brock replied."

Lisa, David, and Carlos squealed in excitement.

"An actual Pokémon fossil!" David said."

"Such an amazing find!" Carlos said."

"I hope elder brother will send it to my counterpart so it can be studied," Lisa said."

"Wow, how did it end up in my backpack," Lincoln asked."

flashback to mount moon,

Lincoln runs to save ralts as Onix made rocks fall, the sail fossil hits Lincoln's head then falls in his slightly opened backpack without him knowing.

back to the present,

"That's how bro," Luna said."

"Oh well, Lisa is going to freakout when I show her this fossil," Lincoln said."

"I already am," Lisa said."

"Oh yeah, link I noticed the berry porta it helps trainers grow berries even on the go," brock explained."

"that's good to hear because I was planning on giving some of my berries to my family," Lincoln said."

Lynn sr. smiles hearing that.

"If they were real, I would definitely put them in my meals," He said."

"Me too," Rosa said."

"In the end, that was a good episode, Lincoln got his second badge and got new pokemon even if one was mine," Leonard said." Now i'm curious on how some of you will apologize to him."

"Us too," Albert said."

"Lucky for you all, the next episode involves calling home," Kai said."

That's chapter 17. Lincoln got his second badge, I decided to give him rockruff because he could be a playmate to Charles until he evolves and the scenes with gyarados and goomy are from legends arceus especially goomy's evolved forms. next chapter is another house call, will Lori, Lynn, and Lola mess things up again let's find out.
