Chapter 46: The Final Stretch

Naruto was back in his room performing pushups while on his hands and building up quite a lot of sweat, after performing about a hundred pushups that he flipped up to his feet and rubbed his shoulders to ease off any soreness. He looked up to the clock to see that there's thirteen minutes left before it hits five o'clock.

"Better get myself cleaned up before heading over to the arena," said Naruto before heading over to the bathroom and took a quick shower then put on a fresh set of clothes. The blonde kitsune made sure that he was fully prepared before exiting the room and began making his way towards the arena "Man, I still get the jitters thinking about this final match,"

"Can't blame ya, you've come a long way from the beginning of this tournament and here you are now at the finals and facing a strong opponent for the title," said Kurama.

"It kinda makes me wonder how things would have gone if Orochimaru hadn't interrupted with the Chuunin exams,"

"Enough with the 'What ifs' and focus on the now, plus you might wanna see who's ahead of you,"

Naruto snapped out of his thoughts and looked ahead only to quirk an eyebrow upon seeing Killua leaning against the wall of the hallway with his arms crossed and eyes closed which suddenly opened to look at a slightly confused but wary kitsune.

"Fancy walking into you here, well all I can say is may the best fighter win," said Naruto.

"…are you truly from the Yakan clan which I heard a lot about?" asked Killua.

"For you to ask me that, which clan are you from since only they would be aware of my status,"

Naruto noticed Killua clench a fist tightly upon hearing the question before replying in a controlled tone "I have no clan, not anymore since I'm nothing more than an outcast to them,"

"Who?"

"The Raiju clan,"

"From what Tetsuo often told us about them is that they care more about power than comradery unlike your village and its belief in the Will of Fire," said Kurama with Naruto frowning in thought.

"So why did you partake in the tournament?" asked Naruto.

"To test the limits of my strength as well as showing them how far I've come since my banishment but not so they could take me back because they don't deserve me,"

"I see…you've definitely proven yourself strong to be able to get this far, no one can deny that,"

"True but I was truly looking forward to fighting you," said Killua with a smirk "Not only do I get to face the very first returning member of a rival clan but I get to rub in their faces that an exiled member of the Raiju clan got to fight you first,"

"Heh, talk about bragging rights," Naruto smiled in amusement, then he heard the crowd cheering loudly from where they were "In that case, let's go out there and show the world what we can really do,"

Both ninjas nodded in silent agreement before going their separate ways to wait for the upcoming match with anticipation, that was when Kurama decided to voice his thoughts to the blonde kitsune.

"It will be very interesting to see how far you can push each other to one's very limit," said Kurama thoughtfully.

"Same here," thought Naruto.

Apparently, they weren't the only ones as every single spectator in the stadium is chattering with excitement as they can't wait for the final match to be underway, many from all over the world that weren't able to come to the stadium are already watching live from their homes. Soon enough, Scratch hovered above the arena in his platform before speaking out to the crowd.

[Hello and welcome to the World Fighting Tournament championship match, we bore witness to all fourteen matches amongst sixteen fighters which whittled down to two finalists… Killua Zoldyck and Naruto Uzumaki!] as Scratch spoke, the Holoscreen began displaying short clips of the matches from before till now.

"I feel so excited and nervous about all this!" said Milla with the Chao chirping in agreement while still carrying their flags.

"Same here, especially since we've seen what both are capable of," said Lilac.

"Not to mention felt it," Carol grimaced upon recalling her lose against the lynx, despite not fighting too seriously, he definitely did not lighten any of his attacks.

"Who do you think would win?" asked Wendy.

Carla scoffed in response "We'll just have to wait and see, though it wouldn't really matter to me,"

Barby rolled her eyes before speaking up "We can't say exactly since the match could go anyway,"

"Well Sugah Fox's got my support all the way," said Bunnie in confidence.

Elsewhere, Team Sonic were having a conversation of their own. Sonic took a bite out of a chili dog before speaking to Knuckles sitting next to him with Tails sitting on the other side whilst sipping on a can of soda.

"So Knux, what's your take on this?" asked Sonic.

Knuckles looked thoughtful for some time before speaking up "From what we've seen…and experienced, Killua is the type to react to the attacks and skills of his opponents then plan effective counters against them and he prefers to keep a control of the battle at his side, Naruto often prefers to strike first and build pressure on his opponent but then he would suddenly bust out an attack or strategy from out of nowhere which would instantly turn the tides of battle. Both sides would be hard pressed against each other,"

"Well, I'll be rooting for Naruto since I know that he's got this!" said Sonic.

"Me too," said Tails in agreement.

"Man, I can't wait for this match to get started already!" said Natsu rather impatiently as he sits next to Happy who's currently munching on raw tuna.

"Why?" asked Happy curiously.

"So I can see how strong Naruto is, then I'll go and train for that rematch of ours. Just the thought of it is making me feel all fired up again!"

"Aye, do your best and try not to burn yourself out,"

Espio was also watching from the stands along with Charmy the bee who had followed them to serve as support, they were soon joined by Vector who had gone off somewhere and had just returned to sit with them.

"Where didja go Vector?" asked Charmy curiously.

"Just went to place a bid on the winner of this final fight," said Vector.

"Whom did you bet would win?"

"I'll leave it up to your imagination,"

"In the meantime, we'll simply watch until the end result," said Espio before turning back towards the arena right as Scratch spoke up once more.

[And here come the finalists!] the crowd began cheering loudly as they saw Naruto and Killua arrive at the arena from opposite ends of the stadium [In this final match, there will be a twist. As we wish for our combatants to fight with all their might without fear of hurting anyone in the crossfire, we will be transporting them to a remote area where they will battle without restraint]

Scratch pushed a button on a remote in hand for the duo to be engulfed in pillars of light which dissipated to reveal them gone from the arena much to everyone's confusion but then the Holoscreen began displaying a desert with giant rocks everywhere as the sun gradually sets (An Desert Wasteland from Tekken 3: Prime Edition), both fighters looked around in mild confusion before snapping back into focus with multiple drones sending live feed from where they are to the stadium and other media.

Naruto looked around the area thoughtfully "Wide open pace with plenty of room to move around, which means there's no ring out rule,"

"I can guess that they want to see this fight end in with a knockout unlike the previous match against Sonic," said Kurama.

"My thoughts exactly," Naruto called out to Killua whilst taking a fighting stance "Are you all set Killua?"

Killua smirked before taking a stance of his own "I was about to ask you the same thing,"

[And without further ado, let the final match…begin!]

Naruto and Killua immediately rushed towards each other with great speed then clashed in the middle with their right forearms, resulting in a strong burst of wind from the collision before jumping away from each other.

Naruto was the first to start things off with a swift right jab to the face which Killua parried with a forearm and retaliated with a chop towards the neck but Naruto quickly jerked his head back to move out of range whilst using the momentum to perform a backflip kick only to miss with Killua dashing backwards. The blonde kitsune closed the gap once more to engage in close with the lynx responding to the challenge, Naruto lashed out with a slide kick with Killua jumping into the air to evade before somersaulting once and descending with an axe kick but Naruto dug his claws into the ground to spin round to dodge the kick and spun to his feet and struck out with his tails which missed as well with the lynx making himself lay down flat on the ground for them to pass overhead before flipping to his feet and was the one to initiate an attack this time.

Both fighters engaged in a rapid exchange of punches and kicks for either offense or defense as they attempt to land a hit on the other but neither wanted to back down in the least, Killua managed to parry a kick which left Naruto open and lashed out with a swift punch to the gut but the incoming attack was interrupted as an orange tail wrapped around the fist, jerking him forward for Naruto to land a punch into Killua's chest which sent him stumbling backwards.

"First strike goes to me, Killua!" said Naruto with a smirk.

Killua shook off the pain and frowned a bit in response "We'll see about that,"

Both got back into the fight with the lynx putting up a tighter defense compared to before whilst Naruto had to watch out for counterattacks from his opponent. Naruto struck out with a side kick only for Killua to somersault into the air to place both hands onto the outstretched leg and countered with a dropkick into Naruto's chest, knocking him back a couple of steps and wincing in pain.

"And now we're even," said Killua.

Naruto quirked an eyebrow before responding "Do tell, let's see if we can't change that," he rushed up to Killua in a zigzag pattern and performed a one-two punch combo before switching into a butterfly kick, the opponent was able to defend against all incoming attacks but was unprepared for when Naruto twisted his body in midair to land in a handstand then kick rapidly with his feet. Killua kept backing away whilst blocking the kicks with Naruto following in pursuit until the former grabbed one by the shin and was about to counter when Naruto hooked the arm with his other leg before lifting the lynx off the ground and tossing him away.

Killua recovered in midair before landing back on the ground and turned towards Naruto only to find him gone much to his confusion, he searched for his opponent only for his eyes to widen in shock before rotating at 90 degrees with his arms crossed right before something slammed into him with the impact sending the lynx flying backwards and skidding along the ground till he came to a stop and looked to see Naruto with a leg raised before lowering it down to the ground.

Naruto used Shadow Step to appear before Killua and struck out with a punch only for it to go right through, surprising the kitsune mildly until he looked around to see that he was surrounded by copies of Killua to realize that he had used Rhythm Echo to evade him.

[Looks like Naruto is the next one to have Killua's Rhythm Echo be used against him, how will he be able to overcome it?] said Scratch with everyone watching with trepidation.

"I may not be able to see or hear you normally, but that doesn't mean I don't have other ways of seeking you out," thought Naruto then he activated his Aura Sight with his vision turning monochromatic and easily located the real Killua by the blue aura he was emitting before rushing over with his left foot lit up in blue flames "Foxfire kick!" he performed a flying kick. Killua's eyes widened in shock upon seeing Naruto heading right for him and quickly jumped out of the way which led to his technique dissipating from the disruption in focus.

"How was he able to find me so quickly? It took the others much longer and hardly as accurate as his, I'll need to figure him out much sooner than intended," thought Killua.

The lynx refocused as Naruto rushed at him with a jumping roundhouse kick and responded with his own roundhouse kick to deflect then attacked with a barrage of punches, Naruto bobbed and weaved out of the way of the incoming punches whilst backing away before countering with a low sweep kick but Killua jumped into the air to dodge and descended with axe kick which he performed a spin dash in reverse to evade.

Naruto built some distance between himself and Killua then he crossed his middle and index fingers of both hands "Shadow Clone jutsu!" there was a puff of smoke before five copies of the kitsune emerged before rushing towards a surprised Killua along with everyone else watching.

[Am I seeing things or did Naruto just create physical clones of himself?] said Scratch in disbelief.

"Do my eyez deceive me?" asked Antoine in shock.

"No they don't Antoine, I saw Naruto use this technique when Knothole was being attacked and even helped with the repairs too," said Sally as a matter-of-factly.

"I was wondering when he was even going to use it," said Elias.

"This fox keeps getting more and more interesting by the minute," said Breezie with a sultry look on her face.

"And Naruto finally busts out his favorite move, thought he'd never use it," said Sonic.

"Me too," said Tails in agreement.

"Maybe so, but remember that there isn't always strength in numbers," said Knuckles, crossing his arms and watching the fight.

The first three clones pulled ahead of the group and split up with two approaching Killua in a pincer formation with lashed out with a sliding kick and a flying kick respectively at the same time, the lynx jumped into and twisted his body into a spin for both attacks to miss and pass by him before reaching out to grab an incoming fist from the third clone and channeled electricity through his arm with enough voltage to forcefully dispel it. The first two clones attacked once more but kept missing with their attacks as Killua constantly evaded with short dashes and somersaults at opportune moments before suddenly switching to offense by jumping into the air and performing a split kick, slamming both feet into their heads with enough force to dispel them as well.

One of the last remaining clones used Shadow Step to appear behind Killua and swiftly put him in an armlock whilst the other closed in with a fist ignited with foxfire. Killua suddenly dislocated both arms to free himself and lashed them out like whips to take out the clone behind him. He turned towards the last clone and raised a foot above his head then brought it down on the outstretched fist, redirecting to the ground then jumped lightly to use the other leg to kick the clone in head and dispel it. Naruto watched as Killua whipped his arms with audible cracks as he realigned them before turning to face him.

"I'm beginning to get a weird sense of Deja vu fighting this guy, or is it just me?" thought Naruto.

"His fighting bears some characteristics akin to that of your friend Neji Hyuuga, best you watch yourself," said Kurama thoughtfully, looking back on the fight so far.

"Noted," thought Naruto then he swung into action "Fox Fang Fist!" he rushed forwards at high-speed then unleashed a barrage of punches, clawing and kicks with Killua baring his claws and responded with an assault of his own. Both constantly switched between attacking and defending in repetitive attempts to gain an edge over the other when Killua suddenly grappled both of Naruto's hands and lashed out with his feet and Naruto took to using his shins and tails to block the incoming attacks until Killua swung round to throw him away.

Naruto somersaulted in midair before landing back on the ground then he rushed back at Killua whilst running on all fours before attacking with a swipe of the claw which Killua pulled his head back to avoid but jumped away from the follow-up and gazed upon Naruto who remained on all fours with narrowed eyes.

"Why is he fighting in such a wild manner?" asked Carla in confusion.

Nicole was the one to answer "It is the next level of the Fox Fang Fist. In most martial arts, one must always maintain a sense of balance between discipline and instinct, but this style relies more of one's inner instinct to make attacks very difficult to read and defend against,"

"Sounds to me like this style practically exists for Naruto," said Barby.

"That's saying something, Lilac and I sparred with him and didn't have it easy getting some hits in and blocking his in return," Carol grumbled with Lilac chuckling sheepishly.

Killua was being hard-pressed against this new form of attack from his opponent, never had he faced anyone who actually fought akin to that of a feral beast such that he was pushing him back greatly "…Snake Awakens," he began whipping his arms about at blurring speeds, defending against Naruto's attacks and at the same time inflicting damage. The blonde fox frowned at this and went for a counterattack "Swift Release: Shadow Rush!" he dashed towards Killua and unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks at high-speed with afterimages trailing behind every movement. This rapid exchange of attacks continued until both managed to simultaneously land a hit which sent them flying away from each other.

"You're pretty good," Naruto commented good-naturedly.

"I could say the same for you, Naruto," Killua replied with a small smile.

"How about we switch things up a bit?" Naruto stretched out his hand for a brief flash of light to reveal a sheathed katana held in front of him.

"Very well then," Killua reached to his back to unsheathe a ninjato which was strapped horizontally at the back of his waist.

Both crouched lightly as they took their stances whilst staring at each other silently, then they suddenly charged at one another and clashed in the middle with the loud sound of metal clanging

[Looks like our fighters are switching from hand-to-hand combat to swordplay, let's see what develops from this!] said Scratch excitedly.

"I was hoping that he would use this," said Elias, leaning forward on his seat to watch with interest.

"What do you mean?" asked Honey curiously.

"Naruto's swordsmanship is quite unique and uncommon amongst many others, I should know as I had sparred with him before and I really didn't stand that much of a chance against him,"

"Now you've my interest az well, Elias," said Antoine turning towards the screen "Az a fellow swordsman, I could learn a lot from this,"

Naruto and Killua were going back and forth with the constant sounds of metal clanging against each other as they swung their blades to attack or defend whilst utilizing their skills and tactics as effectively as they could. Killua went for a stab but Naruto took a step forward and deflected the attack with a backhand as sparks flew with the blade grinding against the metal plating of the glove then Naruto performed a downward slash, Killua twisted his body sideways and jumped away before looking down at his chest to see a long gash across his shirt but no blood which told him how close he was to getting cut.

"Seems to me like he is an embodiment of unpredictability, how many would have defended an attack the way he did just now. I'll need to be more versatile on this," thought Killua as he channeled electricity through the ninjato for arcs of blue electricity to be seen coursing through the blade.

"Good thing I'm using the Masamune since it would have been a different story were I using Hazy-Moon instead," thought Naruto, then he saw electricity coursing through Killua's blade "Looks like Killua is stepping things up a bit now, let's test the waters," he sheathed the Masamune and took an Iai stance "Lunar style: Crescent Wave!" Naruto quickly unsheathed the blade to launch a blue energy wave towards Killua who raised his ninjato above his head "Lightning Wave," the lynx swung his blade downwards to launch a crescent wave of lightning as well, both projectiles clashed in the middle and struggled for dominance until it ended in a stalemate with an explosion.

Killua suddenly sensed a presence from his left and turned to see Naruto rapidly with his katana held in a reverse grip "Lunar style: Crescent Strike!" then performed a 180 spin to slash at him but he managed to ducked underneath the attack and retaliated with a bladed uppercut "Nine Bladed Tails!" Naruto hardened his tails to become bladelike which he then used to deflect the incoming attack whilst flinching in pain from the contact with the electrified ninjato but maintained the momentum to perform a reverse roundhouse kick and landed a strong enough hit to send Killua flying back with the lynx landing on his feet and skidding to a stop then rearing his ninjato back "Thunderbolt!" he thrust it forward to launch a bolt of lightning towards his target.

Sensing the incoming attack, Naruto activated his Air aspect with a gentle gust of wind swirling around him which got stronger due to being in battle before making a move "Wind Edge Chop!" he channeled the wind into his hand and timed his attack to perform a karate chop, splitting the lightning bolt cleanly in two and striking the ground behind him.

[Unbelievable folks, Naruto just split a bolt of lightning into two like knife through butter!] said Scratch in shock.

"Now it's my turn!" wind began swirling at the tips of Naruto's tails before aiming them at Killua "Wind Darts!" he began firing multiple spiraling conical constructs of wind at a rapid rate, Killua took to evading with short dashes, cartwheels and somersaults then would return fire with Lightning Wave for Naruto to either shoot down or dodge as well "Swift Release: Shadow Dance!" Naruto proceeded to move along rapidly and lightly around the barrage of electric projectiles while leaving behind a trail of afterimages till he was right before with his katana raised above his head with the blade coated with wind "Faithful Wind Blade!" then he brought it down in a cleaving strike. Not faltering in the less bit, Killua channeled a large amount of electrical energy into his ninjato with the blade crackling loudly with "Gigavolt Blade!" then he swung in response as both blades collided, triggering an explosion after a few seconds of struggle.

Everyone watched with tension as the smoke from the explosion dissipated to revealed Naruto standing there with Killua's ninjato laying broken on the floor before him but the lynx himself was nowhere to be seen much to everyone's confusion…but Naruto was frowning as he thought back to the clash. During the struggle, his katana broke through Killua's ninjato but before he could land the deciding blow, Killua simply disappeared from his sight.

Naruto frowned thoughtfully "It didn't feel like he teleported anyway like dad's Flying Raijin or Chaos Control, which could only mean that-"

"Kit, watch out!" Kurama's tone of urgency snapped Naruto out of his thoughts right as he felt a strike to his hand, causing him to let go of Masamune in pain before additional blows landed on his body before the blonde could react which caused him to stumble backwards in great pain.

[What just happened? Killua disappeared and now Naruto looks like he just got pummeled like a punching bag!] said Scratch in confusion, voicing the very shared thoughts of the audience.

Hearing a slight zapping sound, Naruto looked up to see Killua standing before him with visible changes, the lynx's body is outlined with a thin pale-blue aura, his hair is much spiker than normal and he has a very calm disposition as of now.

"It looks like the clash had forced him to reveal his trump card, better watch yourself," said Kurama with a small frown.

"Thanks for the heads-up, might as well find out how it ticks," thought Naruto before crossing the middle and index fingers of his hands once more "Shadow Clone jutsu!" he then created quadruple the number of clones and were positioned in front of him as they activated different elemental aspects except Water and Life before charging towards their targets.

Killua's eyes narrowed as he saw some of the clones pull ahead of the group with the rest fell back to launch various elemental projectiles in his direction. From Killua's perspective, everything began to slow down as the clones were soon upon him to engage in melee combat. From a normal person's point of view, it looked like any clone which got close to attack were suddenly repelled or thrown in a random direction whilst elemental projectiles would go through him as if he was a ghost. But the more experienced could see the blurry movements of the lynx who was evading and parrying incoming attacks by a breadth then countering landing critical hits to dispel each of them.

The clones took to launching boulders, fireballs, beams of light from a range, Killua took to dodging those as well with the appearance of moving at flashes of lightning as if he was teleporting, "Burning Barrage!" he looked up to see a salvo of fireballs raining down towards him and proceeded to dash rapidly in a zigzag pattern whilst moving backwards when a shadow loomed overhead from behind "Earth Strangle!" and glanced back to see a giant hand made of earth reaching out to close around. The earth powered clone thought he had successfully captured him when he felt a blow to the back of his neck and was dispelled to reveal Killua having stood behind him before rushing over to the fire powered clone and slammed a fist to the neck to take it out as well.

A celestial powered clone appeared from the lynx's right side in midair with his hands cupped closed together and gathering a large amount of celestial energy within them "Meteor Light Barrage!" then he fires a salvo of light orbs towards the target rapidly, causing a cloud of dust to rise from the area of impact before landing on the ground. The clone's eyes narrowed "Light Barricade!" he quickly encased himself within a white translucent dome of energy right before Killua suddenly appeared from his left, having impacted it "Repercussion!" the dome glowed for a second before unleashing a radial burst of energy to knock the lynx back with the clone rushing towards him with an attack "Light Speed Blade!" he formed a sword out of light then slashed at Killua only for him to evade at the last second and slam a lightning clad fist into the stomach strongly enough to dispel.

Killua's eyes suddenly narrowed before rushing forwards all the while weaving through the attacking clones till he came upon a particular one whom he attacked constantly until landing a strike to the neck and following up with a button hook to the gut, causing it to keel over and spit out blood and this one didn't dispel but the others began to do so one by one.

"I've been paying close attention to the mannerisms of the copies in the midst of battle to notice that one wasn't actively attacking, and having not dispelled yet shows that you are the original," said Killua, Naruto looked up to him with one eye closed in pain "Best for surrender now as you can't-" the kitsune suddenly reached out to grab Killua's arms and held on tightly much to his surprise "What?!"

"Don't be so quick to assume that this fight is over," said Naruto with a smirk, Killua looked up to see the remaining shadow clones diving towards him with spheres of blue spiraling energy "Rasengan Super Barrage!" they all launched the assault consecutively, resulting in an explosion of blue energy as Naruto emerged from it whilst skidding backwards and panting slightly "That oughta do it,"

"Not exactly," Naruto turned round only to be punched in the face, leading into the beginning of a relentless combo as Killua utilized the full capabilities of his power-up for a high-speed blitz to attack Naruto without giving him any chance to defend or counterattack before ending with a powerful haymaker punch to send Naruto flying into a boulder and smashing through it before tumbling to the ground.

[What a barrage of attacks from Killua, I'm not sure that Naruto can get up to-what's this? He's actually getting back to his feet? He stills intends to continue despite the overwhelming power of his opponent?] said Scratch in disbelief.

"I suggest that you stay down Naruto, I doubt you can continue on like this," said Killua with a small frown.

"Before I respond to that, let me ask you this…," Naruto grunted in pain as he got to his feet albeit slightly hunched over from the damage "…this form of yours is a trump card which you had been saving for the finals like this,"

"You're correct, I refrained from using it until now to avoid my opponents to set up counters had I used earlier in the tournament. A transformation which I call Godspeed,"

"Heh, I gotta admit that it's a pretty cool name and you're right about hiding an ace up your sleeve until the very last moment. You showed me your trump card, and now I'm gonna show you mine," said Naruto.

"Are you speaking of that transformation which you used in your first match?"

"Nope, that was unlocked through a stroke of good luck. What I'm gonna show you is something I've mastered and is definitely going to put you on edge," Naruto formed a handsign "It's go time Kurama!"

"Finally, may not be exactly what I want but I'll take it anyway," said Kurama with glee.

Killua suddenly sensed pressure being emitted from Naruto who stood there in concentration as he felt the ground quake slightly around himself, then a fiery yellow aura burst out from Naruto's body and swirled around him like a miniature tornado. Most of the aura gathered above his head and took on the shape of a fox's head which stared at Killua intensely before swooping downwards to fuse with Naruto and take on a different form. Naruto is completely enshrouded in the flaming yellow aura with two front spikes of his hair pointed upwards to resemble horns, six black magatama markings around the collar of his jacket with a prominent swirl design over the stomach, and various other archaic lines extending along his body.

"It may not exactly have a cool name, but I'd like to introduce you to my trump card…Half of it…my Chakra Mode!" Naruto proclaimed, having fully recovered by now.

[Just when we thought it was all over for Naruto, he busts out a trump card! Better strap on everyone, we're about to witness the climax of this final match!] said Scratch excitedly.

Naruto crouched slightly whilst leaning forward on one leg "Here I come!" he disappeared in a yellow flash whilst leaving behind a crater from where he stood, Killua's eyes suddenly widened in shock as he quickly leaned backwards to evade a punch which appeared from his left and lashed out with a spin kick but the kitsune disappeared before it could get anywhere close to him and reappeared overhead whilst descending with a spinning axe kick, Killua backflipped several times to create some distance and looked to see yet another crater formed from the missed attack.

"His physical abilities have been enhanced greatly, had prepared myself for that blue flaming form of his but this certainly took me by surprise," thought Killua before snapping back into focus "Speed of Lightning!" he took off at high-speed with the appearance of lightning bolt towards Naruto who waited until he got close before disappearing in a yellow flash to evade, Killua didn't stop with the constant assault whilst Naruto kept 'flashing' here and there until he sharply stopped to block a punch much to the lynx's surprise "Tailed Beast Flash Bullet!" Naruto shifted into high gear as he moved around Killua leaving behind a long trail of yellow aura as he launched himself at high-speed all the while unleashing a combo of punches and kicks before ending the combo with a slide kick to knock Killua to the ground.

Killua got back to his feet and glared at Naruto who was standing there with his arms crossing with eyes full of determination then he made his move "Shock Sphere!" he formed balls of crackling lightning before hurling then towards Naruto who dodged it but was momentarily taken by surprise when they release an electric discharge and began dodging more seriously afterwards when Killua launched several more afterwards "Static Mines!" Killua proceeded to dash around with short bursts of speed before skidding to a stop before reaching into his pocket to bring out a pair of yoyos which he channeled his electrical energy through.

Naruto maintained focus, recalling the lynx's skills with those in his hands. Sure enough, Killua began swinging the yoyos with the electricity coursing through the cables to give the appearance of whips made out of lightning, he took to using short dashes and somersaults to evade the incoming attacks when he landed on a certain spot which something suddenly exploded in arcs of electricity and was stunned but managed to recover in time to evade yet another attack from Killua and move away "What was it that just shocked me?"

"From the looks of it, Killua must have planted what would be the lightning version of explosive tags into the ground to detonate when you're near," said Kurama with a frown.

"And with him using his yoyos to make me dodge, he forces me near them to get stunned so he could land an actual attack on me," thought Naruto, cartwheeling away from said attack.

"Pretty much, reducing room for movement and easier targeting,"

"Nice plan, Shikamaru would have approved but then again this is me we're talking about!" Naruto landed back on the ground from a dodge before taking a stance "Wind Spinjitzu!" he proceeded to spin rapidly at high-speed rapidly as the wind swirled around him to form a tornado with it being colored yellow due to the influence of the Chakra Mode. Naruto began zipping around the area and constantly triggering the traps with the winds shielding him from the electric discharges, Killua realized what he was doing and tried to stop him but the tornado easily deflected the electrified yoyos much to the lynx's ire.

Naruto stopped spinning before rushing towards Killua then he performed a handsign as an arm made out of yellow chakra shot out of his back which waved in an arc and formed multiple Giant Ball Rasengan above his head before multiple chakra arms appeared to hold the spheres "Rasen-Rampage!" and thrust them towards Killua who took evasive action with short dashes and backflips as each sphere came close to striking him but then would miss by a glance. Refusing to give in, Killua lashed out with his yoyos once again but this time Naruto responded to this head-on by elongating the chakra on his tails to act as whips. He rushed forwards whilst parrying the electrified yoyos before decisively entwining them with his tails then channeled wind chakra to effectively shred them into pieces before rushing up close to Killua to engage in close combat.

Naruto and Killua rapidly exchanged punches and kicks with increasing speed till their movements were nothing more than a blur and the ground shook every time a punch or kick collides with dust swirling around them from the pressure, Killua suddenly unleashed a burst of energy which made Naruto stumble backwards and left himself wide open for the lynx to close the distance and strike with a lightning clad fist. Everyone thought it was all over when something shot out of Naruto's chest and intercepted the strike, stopping it cold and revealing to be an arm made out of yellow energy which sharply pulled him towards Naruto who reared an arm back for a large chakra arm to emerge from behind his back clenched into a fist before lashing out with a punch powerful enough to send Killua flying and strike the ground afterwards.

Killua got back to his feet to stare at Naruto intently "This battle has gone on long enough, I need to end this right here and now with my strongest attack!" he began to release a massive output of power as lightning danced around him before taking on the shape of a large hoop consisting of taiko drums before being channeled into his left fist.

Naruto's eyes narrowed at the sight of this as Kurama spoke up "He's focusing a lot of energy into this attack of his, how are you going to respond to it?"

"If he's going for it, then so am I. it's obvious that he's challenging me and there's no way I'm backing down from it!" thought Naruto with a smirk.

"Heh, why am I not surprised at that answer. You've been doing this since the beginning of your ninja career, I doubt you'd stop now,"

"You know me well buddy, let's do this!" Naruto held out his right hand to form a Rasengan the size of a basketball then three chakra arms appeared to form three smaller versions to orbit around the main one.

[This is it folks, it all narrows down to this final moment to decide the ultimate victor of this battle! The anticipation is already getting to me!] said Scratch with tension. Everyone from the stadium and watching from their homes waited with trepidation in wonderment of who was going to win.

Naruto and Killua stared at each other intently with no words being said but the look in their eyes was more than enough to transmit their intentions as they crouched slightly before taking off at high-speed with the appearance of colored comets streaking across the landscape, then striking out once they're right before each other.

"Planetary Rasengan!"

"Thunder God Fist!"

The moment the techniques collided was when the battle for dominance began, both sides pushed back and forth while continuously fueling their techniques with more power, determined to win after coming all this way and refusing to go down without giving it their all. Eventually the clash resulted in an explosion from the opposing energies which a large cloud of dust rose in the aftermath.

The dust cloud began to slowly settle with everyone straining their eyes in an attempt to see just what is going on as of now, eventually it settled down to reveal…Naruto still standing and Killua was sprawled out on the ground and laid there unmoving.

Music End

Everywhere was silent with no one so much as uttering a single word until it was broken by the loud voice of an excited Scratch who had finally snapped back into reality.

[Killua is no longer able to continue, which means that the winner of this final match is Naruto Uzumaki!]

Upon hearing those words, the crowd went totally crazy as they began cheering out loud at witnessing what has to be the most amazing match anyone has ever seen, there were a few that were a bit disappointed at the lynx's loss but still applauded his efforts regardless. There was a flash on light which dissipated to reveal the fighters having been teleported back into the arena and continued to applaud them.

Naruto had just sent away the Masamune before he and Killua were teleported back when he heard the sounds of cheering and looked around to see the audience applauding him, this made the kitsune feel rather nostalgic as he recalled the standing ovation which he had received after he had defeated Neji during the finals of the Chuunin exams. Naruto acted the same way he did back then albeit with more restraint as he did the victory sign with a wide foxy grin, Kurama himself was smiling as well at all this.

"Yay, Naruto won! He really won!" said Milla as she jumped from her seat and was clapping happily with the Chao waving their flags and feeling just as ecstatic.

"I knew it, I knew that he was gonna win!" Carol pumped her fists with a smirk.

"But you gotta admit that he had us a bit on edge a couple of times during the fight," said Barby.

"I know, but he was able to pull through in the end," said Lilac whilst looking at Naruto fondly.

"Indeed he did," Nicole was in agreement.

"Incredible, to think he has this much power," said Carla in wonderment.

"Amazing, Naruto is so amazing," Wendy was in awe.

"Must be feeling pretty good right," said Knuckles with a small smile.

"Let him enjoy the moment Knux, this is a well-earned victory after coming all this way," said Sonic.

"I'm so happy for him," Tails was clapping his hands in applause.

"Yes! I win the pot!" Vector jumped up from his seat with a ticket held up in the air.

"How much did you win?" asked Charmy with excited curiosity.

"Enough to tie us over and then some!"

Espio was rather silent "He certainly possesses great power akin to that of the predecessors, not doubt that the other clans have seen his capabilities with great detail. But I suspect that they aren't the only ones,"

"Well whaddya know? Naruto came through after all," said Elias with a smile.

"You don't seem so surprised?" asked Antoine who had his eyes glued to the screen and didn't miss a single detail of the fight.

"Yeah, there's just something about which makes me feel that he would always find a way to win no matter how tough things get,"

"You're right brother, he certainly does give off that feeling," said Sally in agreement.

"Awwww, his clothes are ruined," Honey let out a whine "Guess I'll just have to make some more copies for him later," everyone sweatdropped at this.

"…," Breezie didn't say anything else but no one was able to see the smile hidden behind the glass of wine held at her lips.

About an hour later, all of the participants of the tournament were present at the arena were was quickly redecorated for the awards ceremony as they were all wearing commemorative medals. At the very center was a winner's podium where Naruto in a fresh set of clothes was waving at the crowd along with the others around him, also there were Elias, Sally, Antoine and Breezie who was holding a golden with the ornament at the top being a colored gem met to resemble that of a Chaos Emerald.

Scratch hovered nearby on his platform with a mic in hand as he spoke aloud [Ladies and Gentlemen, we come to you live from Casino Park where we finally bring the curtains down on what happened to be an exciting tournament. Let us give another round of applause for Naruto Uzumaki who emerged victorious after battling a field of skilled competitors and is now receiving the trophy from our esteemed Ms. Breezie!]

Breezie presented the trophy to Naruto to take which he did when he heard her whisper in a low tone that only he could hear "You're far more interesting than I initially thought…very interesting,"

Before Naruto could ask about what she meant, Breezie already backed away from him and began clapping with the rest soon joining in. Naruto put the thought at the back of his mind and raised the trophy over his head as fireworks were launched into the night sky overhead. Naruto then heard Kurama speak up in his mind.

"Feels good to reach all the way here doesn't it?" asked Kurama knowingly.

"Yeah, feels like I've gotten a lot stronger before I took part in it. Makes me wonder what else is in store for us," thought Naruto.

"Whatever it is, it won't be boring to say the least," Kurama then thought "Especially with the clans who else having seen a lot about us,"

"This certainly is most interesting, the new leader of the Yakan clan has definitely proven to be formidable, one we would want as an ally rather as an enemy," said the Bride of Rich Nights thoughtfully.

"When would we schedule a meeting with him, milady," asked one of the Yagyu ninjas.

"In due time, it would be wise not to rush these kind of things,"

"As you wish,"

"Any doubts which I had about the clan's sudden return is gone, it will do for us to reform our alliance with them once more as soon as possible!" said a Shinobi ninja.

"My thoughts exactly, I can also tell that there's more to him than meets the eye which really piques my curiosity," said the Bride of Constant Vigil.

"Astounding, to possess such power. Is this also a part of the prophecy from the Web of Fate?" asked a Mobian spider ninja in shock of having watched the entire battle.

"Indeed it is, this kitsune will make a lot of changes with his presence here in Mobius. I'm rather looking forward to it instead of having to peer through the Web of Fate," said the Bride of Endless with a smile hidden behind her veil.

The Bride of Conquering Storms rose from her throne with a scoff "This merely proves my point of why I banished him, he was simply too weak," she made her way through a hidden passage "But he made himself at least a bit useful by making that kitsune reveal more of his power, now I know what needs to be done to bring down the Yakan clan once and for all," she arrived at a room where in the middle of it laid a black staff with an ornate head in the shape of a roaring tiger, the bride placed a hand on the staff which caused lightning to crackle along the shaft and arced around her body, causing her to smile with glee.

This is Hussbek online with the latest, the match for the championship is finally on and Naruto will be facing Killua for the title of the best fighter in the World Fighting Tournament with everyone watching. The fight was long and high tensioned with both sides struggling for dominance and using their trump car in the long run but in the end, Naruto emerged the victor.

This marks the end of the arc and we'll now move onto the more familiar ones, namely Sonic Rush albeit with some twists as usual an introduction of an OC character from a Sonic Fandom but note that this won't be the last you see of Killua and Natsu as they will make a reappearance in future chapters so be sure to look forward to it.
