Chapter 7 Soul Of a Saint

After that talk yu had with Rias yu made sure that issei was ok with everything that happened he said he was ok but he still looked a little freaked but yu managed to calm him down a bit. After that they both went home and tried to relax.

Yu: aww man I really thought I was gonna be in an all out fight in that room, good thing it didn't happen

Ares: Hmph we could have taken them. Compared to most of us there weak

Kohryu: ugghh

Ares: what!?

Kohryu: "never start wars with a man makeing peace"

Ares: *sighs* you and your long forgotten philosophies again

Yu: Hey! He's right we did not need to fight them especially sense they had no reason to fight us

Kohryu: there was also an innocent young man in that room he surely would have died if we had fought them all

Ares: *growls*

Ares always growls when he's told off which isn't really surprising

Isis: and I wouldn't exactly call them weak both Rias and Akeno seemed incredibly powerful. Was she an archdevil like you Beelzebub?

Beelzebub: I'm not sure but it looks like Gremory had descendents in this world

Satan: I've never viewed him having children seems things really are different here

Yu: yea but I don't think we have to worry about the Devils for now at last. *sighs* which means we got some time to finally relax

Hanuman: just remember to stay on your toes master we can't rule out that there are no more threats

Yu: yea true

And then all of a sudden he gets a phone call from someone very familiar

Yu: yosuke?

Yosuke: hey partner

Yu: yosuke! ...uhh ahem uhh is everything alright?

Yosuke: yeaaa everything's fine hey are you alright yu you kinda worried me there

Yu: don't worry I'm fine it's just... It's just really good to hear your voice man

Yosuke: *chuckls* dude what's gotten into you I mean same here but really is everything ok?

That's yosuke for you always knowing when somethings up

Yu: ...to be perfectly honest no not really

Yosuke: really? Then dude what's up is it something I can help with?

Yu: No not yet at least ill...ill tell you all when I can

Yosuke didn't really know what he was talking about but he could tell it eating away at yu so just decided to go with it until he's ready

Yosuke: ok I understand

Yu: thanks yosuke

Yosuke: no problem partner...oh! Before I forget there is something I wanted to ask you

Yu: ok lay it on me

Yosuke: now just a hypothetical question but uhh is the beach is a good place for a first kiss?

Yu: ...huh? Uhhh I guess so why are you asking me this

Yosuke: oh just wanted to hear your opinion

Mysterious girls voice: YOSUKE! ARE YOU DONE YET COME ON!

Yosuke: oh gotta go partner see ya

And yosuke hangs up the phone leaveing yu dumbfounded

Yu: uhhhh ok that was weird

Pixie: you ever expected yosuke not to be weird?

Yu: *laughs* yea true point

And with that yu went to bed finally getting a relaxed sleep. Then next day yu decided to use his Sunday off to do some shopping until he oddly met up with issei. He said he was just taking a walk but he'll accompany him.

Yu: so how have you been so far you know from knowing what you know

Issei: to be honest I've been up for most of the night thinking about everything. The angles, the Devils, it's a lot to digest. And then there's the fact that I have a sacred gear and I have the slightest idea on how to even use it

Yu: hey don't worry we'll figure it out

Issei: we?

Yu: ...what? you don't want my help?

Issei: huh? Oh! No no that's not it it's just... You already went through so much to save my sorry ass. Hell you even almost died I'd thought you were just gonna say you're done with me and to just stay out of your way I wouldn't be surprised tho

Yu...*speaks mentally* wow I did not expect that from him

Issei: ill still do it I mean ill just get in your way anyway so-

And then Yu got infront of issei and held his shoulder

Yu: look issei I don't regret what I did. You could have been the president of Japan or the biggest scumbag on earth either way I still would have saved you and you know why?

Issei: ...no not really

Yu: because you're life means something not just to the world but also to someone out there. And you have your whole life to find that someone and to find your own meaning for living and I was not gonna let anyone not even a whole team of fallen angles take that away from you. And ill make sure to help you keep on living because I see more than just some massive pervert in you. You proved that in that club room when I herd your answer

Issei: ...s-senpai...

Yu: so trust me when I say ill help you with what ever you need

Issei tried really hard to hold back his tears to not get embarrassed

Issei: ...Senpai thank you

Yu: just call me yu I think it's about time you did

Issei: o-oh o-ok yu

(Authors note: yea I still don't really get the whole first name thing it really shouldn't be that weird)

And with that Yu and issei continued to a super market until they heard a sound of a girl falling they look over to see who it was only to be met by a girls ass in pink undies completely sticking out. Issei... definitely had his perv face on thankfully yu was there to snap him out of it and help the fallen girl

Yu: hey are you alright? Need a hand

The girl then looked up at yu with curiosity in her green eyes

Fallen girl: uhhh yes thank you so much

Yu offered his hand and the fallen girl happily took it. Helping her up yu could she a relatively short girl wearing a nuns robes and two silver rings on each of her index fingers she also had long blonde hair that went down to her lower back.

Yu: are you sure your ok miss?

Fallen girl: oh its asia, asia argento and I'm ok thank you again

Yu: it's nothing I'm yu narukami

Issei: and I'm issei hyoudou

Asia: *giggles* it's really nice to meet you both

Issei: I've never really seen you around here before are you not from around here?

Asia: yes I'm originally from Europe I just got off the plane and I've Been looking for the church for most of the day

Issei: oh I think I know where it is I can take you there if you want

Asia: Mmhm I would really appreciate that

Issei: what about you sen-uhh I mean yu

Yu: *chuckles* sure why not

And so both yu and asia followed issei to the church. And when they got close enough to see it some of Yu's personas were warning him about having a bad feeling about that place

Yu: uhhhh asia are you sure this is the church you're looking for?

Asia: Mmhm that's the one

Issei: I also find it kinda strange *chuckles* are you on so some secret holy mission or something?

Asia: w-well no it's just-

And before she could say another word they all suddenly hear crying. They all look over to see a young boy crying over a scraped knee

Yu: aww man poor kid I wish I could help but-

Asia was already at the boys side before he could do anything else

Asia: awww a big boy like you shouldn't be bothered by something like this here let me help you

Asia held her hands over the boys knee and the two rings that were on each of her fingers started to glow green and the boys knee was starting to heal. While it did isseis left arm being pulseing and issei winced in pain

Little boy: wow thanks mis

And the little boy ran off probably to go home and tell his parents what happened to him.

Yu: uhhh asia what was that?

Asia: uhhhhh let just say it's a special gift from god

Yu was smart enough to conclude that it's more than likely a sacred gear but he wasn't going to call her out on it it's her decision to tell him or not

Yu: right well that was pretty impressive asia

Asia:: *giggles* thank you very much *sighs* well I have to get going now. It was very nice meeting you both!

And asia joged off to the church still giving yu a bad feeling in his gut

Michael: I do not like that girl heading to that church. Should we go after her master?

Yu: no not yet not while it's light out we'll probably scope the place out when it's dark alot less likely to be spotted

Ongyo-ki: I can probably help with that master

Yu: yea that would be good Ongyo-ki. Ok then now let's finally-

Issei: uhhhh yu? Who are talking to?

Yu: oh! Issei sorry I nearly forgot you were here

Issei: *sighs* it's fine

Issei was still rubbing his left arm which yu noticed

Yu: hey are you ok?

Issei: yea I'm fine it's just that my arm was in pain for a split second but I'm fine

Yu: you need me to take you to a doctor?

Issei: nah I'm fine now come on I was gonna show you the best places to do your shopping

Yu: *laughs* ok let go

And so yu went with issei to finally do his shopping. Meanwhile in a demi plane somewhere in a steam room (I actually have know idea or memory of where it is I'm sorry) Rias was talking to a black haired girl with a Bob cut and pair of glasses over her violet eyes. She had aura of dominating respect and dignity she also had a pretty big rack but a little smaller then rias's. And sitting right next to her is a another girl with black hair only her hair was much longer. She also had glasses but had light brown eyes and had a pretty noticeablely big rack to but again not as big as Rias.

Rias: it's nice to see you again Sona and Tsubaki

Sona: it's good to see you to Rias, but I can tell somethings bothering so just spill it

Rias: *sighs* can't keep anything from you huh *sighs* alright yesterday I tried to recruit both narukami and hyoudou and I was expecting a little resentment from narukami but even hyoudou declined my offer and I thought I was going to get him easily well I would have if narukami didn't stop him. *sighs* I know it's their choice and I don't want to keep pestering them about it but I...

Sona: yea I can tell your desperate look Rias just give it up I can understand not getting issei was unfortunate but your definitely not gonna get narukami-kun trust me I tried

Rias: yea I guess... WAIT! You tried to recruit him before me? When? How?

Sona: a day or two before he saved issei I didn't tell him everything I just told him if he signed up with me I could help him on his mission he tried to ask more about us and what we were doing and what we wanted but I sill wanted to keep that information hidden until he was reborn but he still never said yes. He mostly said that he can do it on his own and I tried to stop him of course but then he began showing his incredibly powerful aura that's when I knew why he said no he never needed aid to begin with.

Rias: but this was days ago why didn't you or narukami say anything?

Sona just shrugged

Sona: I didn't think it was something to be said it was just some failed recruitment as for yu he was probably way to focused on saveing issei *chuckles* I even tried to recruit him on the student council but he told me bluntly that it wasn't his thing and that it will only take to much time out of his day hmph I guess can't really blame him

Rias: danm if he was even able to say no to you no wonder I had no shot *sighs* maybe I should just give it up

Tsubaki: hmmmm Rias your still the president of a club right?

Both Rias and Sona looked at Tsubaki confused now

Rias: uhhhh yea but why

Sona: oh! That's right you might have another chance to recruit yu

Rias: huh? Really?

Sona: yes yu might be able to a club considering the files I've read about him he's more adamant in joining clubs

Rias ha yes that could work thanks you two ill give it shot

Then all of a sudden she felt like a sensation of someone calling her

Rias: hold on I think someones calling me

She held her hand out and a symbol appeared on it and from that symbol a hologram of Akeno appeared

Rias: Akeno? What is it is something wrong?

Akeno: it's something everyones gonna have to be here for I already called the others ill wait for your return

And then she disappeared along with the symbol

Rias: *sighs* looks like I'm gonna have to return to club room sorry to cut this short

Sona: oh no need I was actually going to leave my self

Rias: well it's been really nice talking to you both and your advice is really helpful thanks

Sona: no problem and good luck Rias

And so Rias, Sona and Tsubaki left the stem room with Rias heading towards the club building which both yu and issei were conveniently going do to both of them needing more answers about scared gears. By the time yu and issei got to the room they see the tense atmosphere

Issei: uhhh whats going on?

Akeno: oh hey you to needed anything?

Yu: uhhh well-

And Rias came in through the double doors

Rias: oh you're here I didn't know you were comeing

Yu: well neither did we is something happening

Rias: hmmmm actually this might be perfect timing depending if I'm right

Yu: huh?

Rias: Akeno you called me here for something urgent right?

Akeno: Mmhm yes miss President, we received word that there is a stray devil nearby

Rias: hmph as I thought

Yu: uhhh a stray devil?

Rias: we can tell you on the way to the location if you want

Both yu and issei looked at eachother

Issei: should we? I mean it seems like it's there business

Yu: yea but it might teach more things Devils

Akeno: plus it might be good that you do come with, you might encounter more stray Devils out there

Issei: seriously!?

Akeno: yep

Yu: hmmm well when you put it like that ok ill go what about you issei?

Issei: i-i-ill... Ok ill go to

Rias: good then just follow us

And so everyone made their way to the location of the stray devil which turned out to be a and abandoned building. While on the way Rias told both yu and issei about how stray Devils were once servants of higher Devils but one day they rebelled and left and or killed their master to satisfy their own overbearing warped desires that usually ends up getting innocent humans killed

Yu: seriously!? Now there's Rouge Devils to deal with?

Rias: *chuckles* calm down narukami-kun I understand your frustration but rogue Devils are relatively rare and they don't exactly last long mostly for being relatively easy prey for any one looking for a hunt which is exactly what this is

Yu: *sighs* alright let's get this over with

Rias: oh no you're not neither of you are getting involved

Yu: uhh what? Then what did you bring us for then?

Rias: *chuckles* a demonstration

And Rias walked into the abandoned building with her peerage to find the stray devil with yu and issei being forced to step back.

Seductive voice: mmm now whats this I smell? Something sweet or bitter

And a female figure from the upper half came from behind the the pillar bare chest and all. Issei was obviously looking pervy as usual yu however was wondering what a naked woman was doing here

Rias: viser you wrench you escaped your master to satisfy your lustful wants and desires. In the name of of the Gremory family you will face your crimes!

Viser: oh just give it rest you little slut. You're just jealous that you can't have tits as lushes as these

She then began to touch and fondle her breasts

Rias: your dark desires have costs the lives of to many innocent humans in the name of the Gremory family you will suffer!

Viser: *chuckles* then go ahead and try

She then began to reveal more of her lower half which revealed more of her enormous monstrous nature

Rias: narukami hyoudou I want you to watch and learn on how we deal with stray devils and how a Devils peerage works

Yu: hmm ok then lay it on us

And so Rias began telling them how higher devils have these certain items called evil prices and how they resemble cheese pieces also while commanding her servants to kick the stray devils ass. These pieces are what turns people into devils through rebirth. Each piece represents a devils role the king is not only the most important piece its the leader of all the other pieces which obviously means its the most powerful, the knights are th Cavaliers and are highly skilled swords people, the rooks are the tanks which means they not only dish out alot of pain they can also take it and more, the bishops are the most skilled in magic either as a white or a red mage, the Queen is the second most powerful behind the king its like the second in command if the king can't lead, and then there's the pawns the front line foot soliders may sound lame and simple but she said there's more to the pawn then meets the eye. As yu was listening to this he began to think how much his team represented the evil pieces. Both Chie and kanji would be the rooks, both yukiko and teddie would be the bishops tho it's unclear who would be the healer and who would be the damage dealer they both pretty much fill that role, the knight would be Naoto mostly do to her persona, and as much as he would hate to admit it yosuke would be the queen tho yu was pretty sure he would slowly accept it if he knew what it meant.

And as Rias was telling both yu and issei about evil pieces the stray devil was getting her ass royally kicked by the others. With Kiba moveing super fast and cutting one of its big arms, and Koneko nearly getting eaten but managed to not only get free but managed to toss her across the room with her incredible strength, Akeno was...well they learned that she REALLY likes to dish out pain especially when she blasted viser with more lightning then necessary.

Rias: OK Akeno I think she's had enough

Akeno: awwww already? but I was really starting to enjoy myself

However with no one else paying attention the giant severed arm began to move and go after Rias. Seeing that yu began to move into action but issei beat him to it. As he sprinted over to Rias his arm began to glow and a green gem appeared on the top of his hand and pretty soon a red gauntlet appeared. And without a second thought issei managed to punch the severed arm away

Yu: whoa issei way to go!

Issei: *pant* *pant* ..huh oh OH SHIT I ACTUALLY DID IT!

Rias: *chuckles* yes you did thank you issei

Issei: huh o-oh no problem Senpai

Rias then looked at the downed stray devil and just smirked

Rias: well well viser looks like you finally met your match any last words

Viser: GO TO HELL

Rias: *chuckles* well then lets end this shall we?

And Rias raised her her hands summoning a dark and red energy

Rias: CHECKMATE

And she finished off viser with her dark energy makeing her exploded in a huge light causing viser to die screaming and hollering which differently got to yu and issei considering they didn't expect her to kill viser

(And Yes I know she really says game over but checkmate sounds better to me)

Yu: ...wha...what did you do?

Issei: ...you...you killed her

Rias: the crimes against the devil community has always been punishable by death

Yu: b-but you could have-

Rias: could have what? Put her in some sort of prison? Try and make her repent? See if she could change? I'm sorry narukami but this isn't a human matter. Creatures like them aren't always something you try to subdue or change it's kill or be killed not just for us but also for others as well

Issei: I mean but thats-

Yu: your right Rias

Issei: huh!? But-

Yu: she's right issei this isn't the human world its the supernatural world were almost anything will want to to you just like those fallen angles

Issei looks down clearly confused and contemplating on what he was told. Yu then walked over to him and put his hand on his shoulder

Yu: look I've been in that same thinking process you are right now not to long ago and yea it's not only shocking it's scary that there maybe a time were we might have to take a life but let's just hope that day isn't soon cause you have every right not do it and either if you did or didn't or going to ill be there to support you

Issei: *sighs heavily* thanks yu ill do the same... If that counts for anything

Yu: * chucklels* thanks it does

Akeno: *giggles* mmmmm ara ara do I smell a bromance happening?

Yu and issei looked at Akeno confused

Rias: mmmmm I think you do

Then they both looked at eachother and quickly stepped away from eachother

Issei: Hey! Look it not like that ok? We just-

Rias: *chuckles* guys relax we're just teasing come on there's more I want to talk to you two about back at the club room

And so everyone left the abandoned building to head back to the Club room. While on the way both issei and yu tried to maintain a reasonable distance to avoid being teased again

Yu: so Rias what else did you want to talk about?

Rias took a deep breath and said what she wanted

Rias: look I know you said no about joining my peerage-

Yu: and we meant it

Rias: *sighs* yes I know but hear me out. How about I asked you to join my club?

Yu and issei looked at eachother confused

Yu: uhhh join your club? Are you sure it's not-

Rias: it isn't you don't need to be any specific race to join a club right? Plus you can choose to come or not come when ever you please so you still have your freedom

Yu ...what are you playing at Gremory? Why this? It seems to only work in our favor what do you really get out of us associating with us?

Rias thought about what she was going to say. It's not like yu was wrong to ask these kinds of questions maybe it's time to be a little honest

Rias: *sighs* well you see Im in a situation where I need all the allies I can get and if I can get you two as allies it would honestly be really great

The rest of peerage can guess what why she says that

Yu: really? Are you in trouble? Is someone trying to hurt you?

Rias: ...yes...and no it's a little more complicated then that but bottom line the people on my side the better

Yu: hmmm what do you think issei?

issei: uhhhh I don't know I mean I don't really think I'm worth all this effort

Rias: issei hyoudou you know that's not true after what happened tonight you not only unlocked your sacred gear but you did it while saveing me that seems pretty worth it to me

Issei: oh uhh thanks I guess

Rias: well what do you think narukami?

Yu thought hard about this offer she gave him. In all honesty he has nothing to lose in fact he actually gain more in taking it plus it seems that Rias has a really big problem that she needs help with and she doesn't seem like a bad person even tho she's a devil

Yu: mmmmm ok ill join

Rias was really happy to hear that

Rias: really!? Ahem ok that's good to hear and what about you hyoudou-san?

Issei: ill... Ill join to I need all the help I can get in using this thing now

Rias: *chuckles* ok good welcome to the club you two

As Rias said that everyone else started welcoming the two to the club with Koneko makeing an exception for issei do to his pervy nature. But before they both left Koneko tugged on Yu's shirt to get his attention

Yu: huh oh what is it Koneko?

Koneko: ummm you still have that cat girl right? You said her name was Nekomata?

Yu: yea why you want to see her again?

Koneko looked down embarrassed

Koneko: Mmhm

Yu: *chuckles* don't worry you'll see her soon. Well see y'all tomorrow

Rias: see ya you two

And they both left the club room to go home

Kiba: *chuckles loudly*

Koneko: what?

Kiba: you actually made a friend this time I'm proud of you *laughs*

Koneko: oh shut up
