CHAPTER 20 RETURNING TO INABA
Before this next part of this story begins let's start this off by going back in time a bit way before Yu had his final battle with Riser. I'd say to when Yu had his break from his crazy couple days. that night after Yu began to realize that rumors of him and his was starting to get around thanks to coa coa confirming that. and if someone like him was able to find him...he dreaded the thought of anyone... or anything finding his group of friends through him. He obviously can't let that happen so in desperate way to protect his friend's he quickly took a train back to Inaba. Don't worry him missing a day or two in school won't hurt his education. but that doesn't matter right now, when Yu called everyone and told them to me him in Junes, they were more than confused as why and how but still they all went anyway after school.
Yosuke: hey uhhh is anyone else wondering about why Yu made us suddenly told us to meet him in Junes
Chie: I will admit I'm wondering about that to i mean the case is over there is no reason for use to have meetings in Junes anymore
Naoto: I'm sure senpai has a good reason for this sudden meeting

Indeed, there Yu was sitting at the usual spot. they all pretty ran up to Yu and gave him a group hug which of course accept it. after a minute he pulled and got serious telling them that he had been planning on telling them everything once he had it all figured out...but now there might not be any time for that, and they need to know as soon as possible. And so, Yu told them everything from first encountering rayne to his finale battle with riser...and pretty much everyone had a mixture of reactions and feelings about what they just herd. A mixture of concern, worry, confusion, and skepticism understandably and some of them didn't fully believe him at first. But they saw how there leaders face was full of seriousness...and that's when most of them started to freak out again understandably. Thankfully Yu managed to calm them all down (mostly with help from Naoto) by telling them he can use personas in reality thanks to the world arcane and that's exactly what he's here to do for them
Yu: I wish that all my close friends can also use their personas in reality to
Everyone can feel a wave of force wash over them and they instantly knew something was different. Yu then told them to try and summon their personas, all were a bit skeptical, but they still tried anyway, and it actually worked
Chie: whoa it actually worked your here!

Then they move one each of their hands behind them and in a loud calp their hands connect

Uhhh well anyway after everyone physically got reacquainted with their personas Yu got all of their attention saying there's more they need to do. Yu told Rise and Kouzeon to look for any devilish activity within the area. They both weren't exactly confident in finding anything like that they were mostly good at finding humans specifically their tormented hearts but still they gave it a shot. And surprisingly they found it well a few actually and they felt...wild...angry...and vengeful. Yu told them that they were sensing stray devils and how Thayer somewhat similar to shadows only smarter and more predatory. After asking were the nearest one was Yu led them all an abandon house when they all got there Yosuke was the one to ask why they were the ones doing this when it's a devil related problem that's when he finally explained his whole trip back and making that wish. To prepare them for whatever comes...and how fight it...and not just fight it, kill it. They were pretty nervous about this they do remember Yu telling them that he already had to kill a few times already. meaning they'll have to do it to... better now than later, I guess. it was a choice of who was going to go first and surprisingly Yosuke volunteered. but before he continued Yu insisted that rise fully supports him, she knew what she meant by that but that still didn't stop her having nots in her stomach. but rises a strong girl she's been through enough to let this stop her shell do whatever it takes to help her friends. seeing Rises solid resolve Yosuke went inside the house a little confidently with his knives out at the ready. Yosuke stepped inside the house carefully looking at every corner and shadow expecting something to pop out
Yosuke: hey Rise you and kouzeon getting anything?
An addition to sensing other beings she can help her communicate with each other over long distances
Rise: sorry, all we can tell is that something is there me and kouzeon are still pretty new at this
Yosuke: that's ok rise just keeps havening my-
That's when he stared to hear laughter...deep evil laughter actually that made Yosuke jump a little

Yosuke: ...holy shit that scared me...*deep breath* where are you!? show your self!
Yosuke waited for a minute in complete silences. until rise tries to warn him
Rise: *gasp* YOSUKE SENPAI BEHIND YOU!
With that warning Yosuke quickly jumps back avoiding the sneak attack
Yosuke: WHOA! *Breaths heavily* thanks rise that was close
Takehaya Susanoo: are you alright master Yosuke?
Yosuke: yea all good for now
That's when a dark and red figure appeared, the top half was humanoid but with red inner skin and black outer scales, sharp black claws and green snakelike eyes with large curly black horns on its head, the bottom half was a large black snake tail slithering and Rattling. Yosuke looked at this figure wide eyed and full of fear this was defiantly different from a shadow
Rise: Yosuke senpai don't worry me and kouzeon are with you we can take this thing no problem
Takehaya Susanoo: and don't forget I'm here to I'm at your command
Yosuke took a deep breath to calm himself down, and with a smile on his face he got battle ready
Yosuke: humph yea I know together we can do this, I'm not afraid of you!
The snakelike figure looks at this young human strangely
Humanoid snake: hmmmm ssstrange no human at your age have ever ssstood againssst me in a very long time *sinister chuckle* then this shall be interesssting
He also got battle ready

The fight didn't really last long don't get me wrong that stray devil was pretty strong but after Yosuke summoned his persona Susanoo it was pretty much a winning battle especially with rises support. Yosuke finished the devil off by commanding Susanoo to use BRAVE BLADE, the ever-spinning saw that surrounds him glowed a bright yellow gold. He then kicked it hard towards the stray devil cleaving him in half. Yousuke thought it would just disappear in black smoke like any shadow would...but that's not what happened. Instead, he saw large splatters of blood and guts everywhere and the devil was still breathing but barely it was very close to dyeing. He slowly looks at his opponent that defeated him and with a bloody smile he says his last words
Humanoid snake: *coughs* well done...human...
And with that he exhales his finale breath, and the body starts to disappear in pieces of light. even with that body gone there was still a huge puddle of blood that Yosuke couldn't help but stare at for a while
Takehaya Susanoo: ...aster?
He doesn't react
Takehaya Susanoo: ...master?
Still doesn't react
Takehaya Susanoo: MASTER!
Yosuke jumps a little
Yosuke: huh? Wha?
Takehaya Susanoo: ...are you ok master?
Yosuke looks down
Yosuke: ...I... I don't...
Takehaya Susanoo: actually, don't its ok I already know

He shakes his head trying to clear his mind
Yosuke: we return to the others and more importantly check on rise
Takehaya Susanoo: ...*sighs* yea
And both Yosuke and Susanoo both came out of the house telling the others that they were victorious. But Yosuke still had a blank expression on his face and still looking down, it took practically shaking him to get him out of it he said he was doing fine...but Yu knew better. Yosuke looked to rise, and he can see she wasn't doing much better, she was very visibly shaking in her shoes. She's never seen someone, or something actually die before, there was so much blood, its body literally cut in half, the way she felt him struggle to breath, until it finally died. she almost through up when she saw it all happen. It's pretty much safe to say she was not ok. But thankfully she was dealing with it alone, both Yu and Yosuke tried to comfort her. She was still a bit shaken up, but it defiantly helped having them there. Yu was out loud debating if this was a mistake and if he should wish this never happened. But surprisingly both Yosuke and rise stopped him. They made a compelling argument that they should keep going even though it might be hard and not very pretty they all need to do this. Yu looked towards the rest of his friends, and they all agreed as well. And with that rise and kouzeon immediately told them where the next closes stray devil was and from then one by one each team member did their first kill.
Chie finessed hers by using a GOD'S HAND down on the devil's head causing blood and brains to splatter everywhere, Fatality
Naoto finished hers by shooting it clean between the eyes
Teddie... well...he done his by freezing it solid and smashing it into peace's... Tho it's unclear what he was feeling he was smiling but it looked like he had sad eyes
kanji managed to kill his by commanding Takeji Zaiten to cut its head clean of its body
Yukiko with Sumeo-Omikami used fire magic to completely engulf the devil in flames causing it scream loudly in pain for a few seconds, until it eventually fell dead still on fire
When everyone got back to Junes, they all didn't really say much, Yu could understand why, they had to do something they shouldn't have to but there was little choice in the matter they had to be ready. Yu then decided to call it a day and told everyone to go home and they did. Yu on the other hand got on the next train back home
When you got home, he sat on his deep in thought thinking about what he just put his friends through. He not only feels terrible, but he was really debating on using one of his wishes...but before he did, he texted rise seeing if she was still up and she not surprisingly. He asks her to make a link with everyone and she did, no one was sleeping they all rises voice in their heads
Rise: hey everyone i think senpai wants to talk to us
Yu: everyone...I'm sorry
Yosuke: huh? what are you sorry for dude?
Yu: I...I feel like i forced you all to what you shouldn't...and...and I-

Now fast forwarding to when Yu returned to Inaba again for golden week...but things didn't exactly pan out as they should. the literal day he got there he and his friends were thrust into an arena filled adventure where he met many new people. The group of experienced persona users who were once called SEES now called the shadow operatives. Mitsuru the beautiful yet deadly red head ice queen, Akihiko a world traveling boxer that's training to be a police officer, Aigis the seventh-generation anti shadow suppression weapon who found another reason to live after someone very close to her died, Junpei...uhhhh...weeeellll he's kind of both THE and A joke for the most part, Yukari the popular girl who became an actress in the Featherman show, Fuuka a very kind girl who has a big interest in technology, and last ken and koromaro, ken most likely being the youngest experienced persona user, koro...a literal dog that can use a persona...I know weird. There was...well technically two more but they both died one being Shinjiro the best friend/brother of Akihiko
With working together with the investigation team, they manage to find aigis's long lost sister labrys (who is also a robot) who was stolen by young boy named sho Mikazuki who declared he was the adoptive son of Shuji Ikutsuk. When it was finally known that the evil entity sho was working with turned out to be an incarnation of Hi-no-Kagutsuchi the Japanese god of fire that was born/made when the town of Inaba was covered in fog effecting the people's minds. Together Yu, Adachi and labrys managed to destroy Kagutsuchi and save both Inaba and the world...again. When the dust of an intense battle cleared all that was left was sho and his promise that someday when he's much stronger he'll come back to fight Yu again someday. On the last day everyone got together to celebrate their victory. But also, this was Yu's chance to tell them about what's out there he felt like he could trust them enough to tell them. And of course, they didn't immediately believe them, but they eventually did believe him and his friends and thanked them for giving them the heads up.
During his last night of his golden week vacation, he was summoned to the velvet room to yet again see both Margret and Marie. they pretty much summoned him to tell him how thankful they are in defeating that malevolent being. When they said their peace and Yu left the room Marie took a breath of relaxation and dropped the illusion around her body showing her very pregnant belly
