Chapter 65: Cooling Down before Heating Up

"Oh man, it's been a long time since I ran through these roads but I know they weren't this bad the last time I came here," said Sonic thoughtfully.

"So Sonic, just what is this place?" asked Naruto, looking around his current surroundings.

Sonic had told him that he needed to move at speeds higher than normal which got them going through a void and ending up in what could be best described as a highway with numerous roads twisting and turning here and there but certain parts of the roads were seriously damaged.

"This place is the Cosmic Highway which a nerd would describe as a network of roads leading to various zones/dimensions, I used to come through here without second thoughts when I met my dimensional counterpart Zonic who's basically a Zone Cop, he clued me in on the multiverse be connected through this place,"

"Think he could help Nico and I get back home then?" asked Naruto.

Sonic shrugged in response as they ran "Maybe, let's ask him when he find him,"

At that moment, Scourge stirred awake "What the, what's going on here?"

"Look who finally woke up, although we preferred that you kept on sleeping," said Naruto with a smirk.

Scourge snapped his head up to scowl at the kitsune "You! Where are you taking me, and why can't I move!?"

Naruto pointed at the paper tag on his forehead "That's cause of the Paralysis Tag I slapped on ya, it completely arrests your ability to move. Perfect for guys like you who won't let themselves get caught,"

"And as for where we're taking you to the Zone Cops where they'll put you away so you won't be a pain in the neck for anyone," Sonic added.

Scourge growled at that "Like hell I'm gonna rot in an interdimensional cell, I won't let you!"

"Big words from a guy who can't move,"

"Just take this scrap of paper off and I'll give you a demonstration!"

"For one, we're not stupid to fall for that. Another, two of us can bash you much quicker since there's no one to get in the way or help you. Keep that in mind," Naruto retorted.

They were suddenly disrupted from their conversation when two figures appeared before them with one calling out.

"Halt, you're in violation of the Multiverse Lockdown act!" Naruto looked at the person to realize that he looks like Vector except he wears a hi-tech military uniform and the other was Espio donning a similar uniform as both were aiming small gauntlet-mounted blasters at them.

"What there, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog from the Prime Zone!" Sonic identified himself.

The Vector lookalike still aimed the blaster at them "We can't make exceptions sir, please don't resist,"

"Fine fine, we're here to look for Zonic anyways,"

"Whew, thank you sir. We'll take you to him right away,"

"Guess they're the Zone Cops, right?" asked Naruto with his arms crossed.

"Yeah, they're Zector and Zespio…yeah all their names that with 'Z'," Sonic explained, noting the weird look on Naruto's face then he turned to Zector "Aren't you guys supposed to be sideways?"

"Spatial rules are a bit more lax around here," Zector tossed a Warp Ring to activate it "We're about to enter No Zone, so prepare for your Spatial Adjusting,"

Naruto quirked an eyebrow at that "What's that supposed to mean?"

"How am I supposed to know?" said Kurama.

They went through the Warp Ring to the other side and saw the Headquarters of the Zone Cops but it looked as if it had undergone a massive assault much to Sonic and Naruto's confusion. And another thing…

"…Why are we standing sideways in midair?" asked Naruto, trying not to freak out from his current situation.

Zespio explained "That's because this Zone is positioned perpendicularly compared to other Zones. Should we go to another Zones, we would appear floating horizontally in midair while it's vice versa for anyone else that comes here,"

"Alright, got any doodads to fix that?" asked Sonic.

"Luckily for you, we do," a lookalike of Sonic approached with small hi-tech bracelets approached them "Here you go,"

"Thanks," the duo put the bracelets on which immediately corrected their sense of gravity "We came to drop my evil twin off and you've got some explaining to do,"

"The reason for the lockdown is due to a mad man called Dr. Nega who has been travelling through the Cosmic Highway and causing all kinds of trouble. We had to lockdown most zones to keep him out of yours and left a few others accessible for the sake of stability," Zonic explained.

"Dr. Nega, you're not talking about Eggman Nega are you?" asked Naruto in shock.

"We hadn't seen that mad scientist since our battle against him and the other Eggman. Or this could be a different one," said Kurama with a frown.

Zonic took out a collar and clamped it around Scourge's neck "There, that collar will keep his powers in check.

"Then this isn't needed anymore," Naruto took off the Paralysis Tag,"

"Once you're done, will you be coming to take Eggman away?" asked Sonic.

Zonic shook his head in response "I'm not,"

Sonic frowned at the refusal "Wrong answer, the real Doctor Robotnik died and this 'Eggman' came from another dimension which makes it your problem," Naruto was rather surprised to hear about this since it wasn't something to consider until now.

"Your 'Eggman' shares a past similar to that of Robotnik-Prime up until a certain point. He's essentially the same man and is needed for your zone's stability,"

"Needed?"

"There's a bigger picture here, Sonic. Sonic-Prime has to fight a Robotnik and this one is the best candidate to fill in,"

"Then what about Scourge?" asked Naruto, trying to make sense about what Zonic is saying.

"Scourge's mutation has made him somewhat of a wildcard with the potential of disrupting the stability of the multiverse beyond repair. Hence why we're grateful for you bringing him to us as we had been under siege this whole time,"

Scourge scoffed "You can try to write me off; mutation, evil twin, whatever. The ultimate truth is that I am Sonic the Hedgehog at his full potential,"

Zonic began to lead him away into the HQ "Enough, time to lock you away for good,"

"I may be beat this time, but I'm not through yet," Scourge called out from behind.

"Try as many times as you can, you'll always lose with such weak ideals," Naruto replied with eyes full of determination.

Scourge scowled as he was hustled away by Zonic then Zector approached Naruto and Sonic to speak to them.

"I'll guide you two by to your Zone," said Zector.

"Sure, thanks," said Naruto.

"I thought you were going to ask them for a way back," said Kurama.

"I was until Zonic mentioned how he locked all access points to the Zones excluding a few needed to stabilize the Prime Zone, meaning that I'll still have to use the Modded Warp Ring to get back home," thought Naruto.

"That and you want to do something here before going back,"

"Yup,"

Sometime later, Naruto and Sonic were back at New Mobotropolis and bade Zector farewell before he returned to the No Zone to resume his duties.

Sonic stretched his arms "Man, I could sure use some R&R right now,"

"If you say so, but I'd like to talk to you guys tomorrow at the FF HQ for something important," said Naruto.

"What is it?"

"I'll tell you about it later, just be sure to bring everyone tomorrow," Naruto insisted before teleporting back to the HQ to rest for now,"

"I wonder what's up with him? Oh well, time to head home," Sonic zipped back home to spend some time with his parents and pet dog then sent a message to Sally and the others concerning Naruto's request before turning in for the night.

The next day, the Freedom Fighters as well as Uncle Chuck were at the HQ and were having mild conversations with each other. Sally told the others what had happened at the Council with Hamilton Pig accusing them of going against orders and almost had the team detained until she pointed out certain things which made him withdraw his accusation.

"Seriously, that guy doesn't know how to chill," Sonic muttered as he leaned back on a chair.

"It seems like he bears a bit of a grudge against us, feeling like he and the others were forgotten as the Substitute Freedom Fighters," said Rotor.

"But that isn't true, I mean they played a huge part in helping us back then," Tails pointed out.

"Apparently, it didn't feel that way to them, especially Hamilton," said Sally with a frown.

"You know, that council of yours is really starting to impress me less and annoy me more," said Naruto as he walked into the main room with FF Nicole perched on his shoulder like always.

"We truly apologize for that," said Uncle Chuck.

Naruto waved a hand in a placating manner "It's cool, at least there's some of you guys whom I like,"

"So, what was it that you wanted to speak to us about?" asked Amy.

"Well, there are certain things which has caught my attention and I needed to gets yours into it as well," said Naruto.

"Well, what is it?" asked Tails.

"It's about your overall structure as a team, you guys have teamwork down pat thanks to your bonds but there are certain critical flaws that could have things end very badly for you all,"

Rotor frowned at this and asked "What kind of flaws?"

Naruto gestured to Nico who projected a Holoscreen and played the video of the fight between them and the Suppression Squad "For one thing; you guys have been using your basic set of skills and abilities which no doubt had helped a lot since you started out, but the problem is that you didn't try to expand your skillset which isn't a good thing,"

"How bad could it be?" asked Amy nervously.

"Your enemies would plan ways to take you down instantly once they've analyzed your current skillsets. They'll know what's coming and be prepared for it," Nico paused at the moment Antione and Bunnie were captured by their evil counterparts, causing them to flinch at the memory.

"What else is there to consider?" asked Sally, seriously contemplating this.

"There's also the question of your gear too, I noticed that you guys prepare gear for certain missions instead of for all missions or situations. As a shinobi, I was taught to be fully equipped at all times cause one would never know when something could happen without warning at any time. As of now, I've already gave you the blueprints to create SACs so there's no worry of being burdened or overloaded with anything,"

Rotor hummed in thought "I see,"

"And another thing, you guys lack a medic," said Naruto.

"Medic?" asked Sonic confusedly.

"Yes, someone who can at least be capable of administering First Aid while on the battlefield should a teammate suffer any form of injury. There were times where I almost lost my life had a dear friend of mine not been skilled to be a medic to save me and get me back to fighting shape. Also, a medic can give the injured enough time to be taken to a hospital to be treated," the blonde kitsune explained further.

"Sacre bleu, we'd never thought of zhat," said Antoine.

Bunnie nodded in agreement "You said it, honey,"

"We've got a bit of work to do to resolve this," said Uncle Chuck.

"No need to worry, Naruto and I had been working on some ideas and thankfully I possess blueprints for gears that could be of help to you all," said Nico.

"Thanks, we'd really appreciate that," said Rotor.

"So, what do you have in mind?"

Naruto and Nico proceeded to teach them certain things which they had learnt by in their other dimension.

For Sally and Amy, Naruto decided to train them in unarmed combat so that they can defend themselves whenever they don't have any weapon in hand at the time. Nico suggested to equip Amy with a set of electrified gauntlets which capable of zapping or paralyzing enemies based on the level of voltage, either lethal or non-lethal and she apply the voltage to her Piko Piko Hammer. For Sally, Naruto thought to have Tails and Rotor construct a pair of hi-tech bracelets capable of weapon constructs made out of energy.

With Sonic, there really wasn't much to teach him…except that he shouldn't be overconfident. Some enemies could use his own ego against him and needed to get that under control for the sake of him and everyone else. Naruto also advise Sonic to strategize more, he has the speed to do so at the shortest time possible and he gave certain examples of the enemies whom he had fought back in the Elemental Nations but didn't specify who they were.

Considering Antoine, Naruto suggested that he trains in additional sword styles and apply protective armor to certain parts of his body like the arms and legs since he mostly deals in close combat.

For Bunnie, he also had her train in hand-to-hand combat as a way to properly utilize the potential in her cybernetic enhancements both on the ground and in the air.

As for Tails, Naruto made it well known that he's basically the team's tech support while on the field since Rotor is in the council and not allowed to work with them so it falls down to him to play the role.

With Naruto using his Shadow Clones to serve as sparring partners for the Freedom Fighters. Nico along with Tails, Rotor and Uncle Chuck set to work on creating various gears for the team:

Smoke Bomb which are grey balls emitting smoke which obscures vision, suitable for escape or confusion tactics.

Shock Gauntlets that are a set of electrified gauntlets, capable of zapping or paralyzing enemies based on the level of voltage

Freeze Grenade; a high-powered Sub-Zero temperature projectile which freezes water or momentarily incapacitates enemies once detonated on impact.

Explosive Gel in the form of a spray gun which sprays gelatinous form of explosive upon any surface and can be remotely detonated. the level of damage depends on the amount of gel sprayed.

Disruptor being a rifle-like gadget which fires shots of electrical pulses which jams firearms and override security systems.

Concussive Detonator is a grenade-like gadget which attaches to targets then stuns/disorients any caught in its explosion

Stun Baton, a compact retractable baton capable of stunning/paralyzing opponents, can used still be used without the electrical feature.

As for Tails, he decided to work on an arsenal specifically designed for him: a gunlike blaster which he can use for long range, a Hi-tech boomerang for midrange, Grenades which can switch between Stun, Concussion and EMP, and special mines that can be remotely detonated based on how he sets them beforehand.

Naruto approved of this knowing well that he had just made things much harder for enemies in the future since they won't see this coming from a mile away.

For about nearly two and a half weeks of training and partial skirmishes against Eggman's forces albeit with Naruto forbidding them from using their new gear as a form of training. Nico pointed out that they already have experience by the dozens and so the process training in their new skills would be quite quick and effective as they would know their own bodies better than anyone else, the group were assigned to a major mission by the council which is an assault on the Egg Dome and taking down Eggman once and for all.

"So, how does it feel to be back on the field?" asked Sonic as he causally ran alongside a speeding jeep with Rotor at the wheel and Sally riding alongside him with Nicole's handheld computer in hand.

"I feel partially nostalgic and realize how long it's been since then," said Rotor, skillfully driving past incoming fire from the enemies ahead of them.

Further ahead, Amy and Antoine were fending off attacks from the Dark Egg Legion, the pink hedgehog displaying her new style of wielding her Piko Piko Hammer with one hand for weak but swift attacks and using her free hand to punch her enemies whenever they draw closely enough for her to do so.

Antoine was swiftly moving about, disarming his opponents by either knocking the firearms out of their hands or simply slicing them apart thanks to having taken on learning the art of fencing, Naruto acted as his sparring partner with his katanas which really helped him since the others don't really work with swords.

At the same time, Bunnie was covering his back through the use of her arm cannon or energy shield in order to protect her husband and would also use her arm's telescopic ability to grab enemies from midrange then use them as makeshift flails before tossing them aside.

"Alright everyone, that's enough! We'll pause our advance for the moment!" Sally called out to the others.

Sonic landed next to her and shrugged his shoulders "Sure thing, there's still time to have fun,"

"Why are they not advancing, they were making such headway," said Lien-Da the Komissar of the Dark Egg Legion as she rides her Egg Pod in mild confusion "Unless…unless we actually stopped them! Broken their momentum!"

A male voice then spoke up "Not really, you were about to be flanked, which is now!"

Lien-Da turned to see Knuckles along with the other members of Team Chaotix attacking her legionnaires and sowing chaos amongst the ranks.

"Damn Chaotix! Rear Guard, advance to support the east flank!" Lien-Da ordered but was suddenly knocked off her Egg Pod by a blue blur, revealing to be Sonic.

"I think you forgot about us!" said Sonic smugly, but quickly leapt back to avid an attack from Lien-Da's whip "Hey, careful with that!"

"I will not be embarrassed by a base Mobian like you!" Lien-Da raised her whip to attack again when Antoine intercepted by slicing the whip into pieces.

"Allying with ze Eggman, and making such vile remarks? Where iz your sense of honor?" asked Antoine with a frown.

Lien-Da scowled in response "Don't you dare judge me!" she ran from them whilst calling out orders "Pull back to the perimeter! Call for some blasted backup!" the legionnaires provided cover fire to keep the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix at bay as they retreated further towards the Egg Dome.

Sally's handheld computer beeped which she responded to see Tails on the screen [Princess Sally, we're all set up over here]

"Great, rendezvous back here while I inform the others," Sally ended the transmission before glancing over her shoulder and spoke "Things are going according to plan,"

Naruto was leaning back against a boulder with the Chao perched atop his shoulders "Yup, plus this time I'm letting you guys bust out the new hardware,"

Sally smiled "I bet the others will be thrilled to hear that,"

"I know,"

They regrouped with the others and sure enough, Sonic and co were giddy once they heard that they can use their new gear much to the confusion of Chaotix since they weren't exactly in the know but had been noticing that they performed much more effectively compared to before. At the moment, the group had cornered Lien-Da and her men into a small valley below.

Apparently, Lien-Da was backing down one bit "Rockets forward, Riflemen provide cover fire! On my mark!" the legionnaires took positions and prepared to attack.

"Gotta give them props for not giving up," said Sonic.

"Stay alert, they still outnumber us despite the momentum we have," Sally spoke with caution.

"Open fire!" Lien-Da commanded.

"Tails…,"

Tails held out a remote with a smile "On it!" he pushed a button, then there were multiple pulses from underground around the enemy although it didn't seem to affect them directly but something definitely happened.

"Fire, I said fire!" Lien-Da demanded, noticing that her men weren't shooting for some reason.

"We're trying Komissar, they don't seem to be working," said one of the legionaries after repeatedly pulling the trigger but to no avail and the same could be said for the others.

"Smooth one, Tails!" said Sonic, high-fiving with Tails.

"Gotta love those new remote control EMP mines!" said Tails happily.

"I'll be sure to give your thanks to the other Tails back home," said Naruto.

"Your weapons have been deactivated, surrender now and we can resolve things peacefully!" Sally called out

"…," Lien-Da said nothing but simply gritted her teeth in frustration.

Suddenly, everyone was distracted by the sound of an aircraft engine before turning to see what could be best described as a giant fireball which flew from the Egg Dome and was heading straight towards them. A closer look reveals to be a jet designed to resemble a raptorlike bird with red-and-yellow color scheme.

"Ohohohohohoho! Prepare to meet your fiery doom by the power of my Egg Phoenix!" Eggman declared arrogantly.

The Egg Phoenix swooped towards the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix with its talons aimed towards them and proceeded to launch twin streams of red-hot flames as it swept across the battlefield, forcing both friend and foe to scatter in order to avoid getting burnt to cinders.

"I was wondering what kind of machine he had waiting for us," said Naruto, looking at the jet flying above them while Kou deployed an energy shield to protect them from the flames.

"It looks like the Legion have retreated again," Charmy pointed out to the others.

"They're the least of our concerns right now," said Sally from behind cover of a rock like the other "Does anyone have ideas to deal with the current problem at hand?"

"All of mine involves drawing close to that thing, and I doubt any of us are fireproof," said Knuckles in mild frustration.

"Well, we could use the EMP grenades but we would have to get within range and there's still the flames to worry about since they might get melted before being used," Tails suggested.

"So, we're back to the same problem,"

Naruto stood up with a grin "You guys can leave the flames to me, I can do something about it,"

"In that case, I've got a plan…," Sally began to relay her idea to the gathered group.

A moment later, Sonic was perched atop a rock spire and yelling out at Eggman "Hey Eggman! Nice pyrotechnics, but your Egg Sparkler hasn't hit me yet!"

"I'll resolve that soon enough!" said Eggman before piloting the Egg Phoenix to swoop towards and attacking with his flame streams.

Sonic leapt off the rock spire and began running at highspeed with the flaming jet after him in pursuit whilst deploying a barrage of missiles with the blue hedgehog proving to be quite a hard target to hit "Okay guys, I've got his attention!"

[Good, maintain his focus on you while we get ready to move in] said Sally via the comms.

"No biggie, you know I love being the center of attention!"

Sonic began using his superspeed and parkour skills to traverse the environment with ease and keeping ahead of Eggman, all the while taunting said person and irritating him to attack fiercely and even deploying a pair of machine guns to fire rounds of molten slag. Unknown to the doctor, Naruto was running after him from behind with a growing grin on his face.

"Time to do my thing," Naruto activated his Fire Aspect with his fists and the tips of his tails ignited in red flames with his body emitting heat intensely. By projecting streams of flames from the soles of his feet, Naruto propelled himself into the air where he latched on to the jet with the current active aspect granting him passive immunity to the flames then proceeded to absorb them into his body and mouth.

Sonic kept running when his comm beeped for him to answer [Sonic, Naruto's starting to absorb the flames on the jet. Keep stalling him for a while longer then lead him towards us!]

"Okay Tails, let me know when ready," said Sonic, then he called out his shoulder "Seriously Eggman, mind if I take your new toy out for a joyride after this? I could get some new ideas to upgrade the Tornado!"

Eggman growled in response "Don't you dare mock me! I'll burn you, all of you!"

"Sorry but no one ordered for barbecue, but I won't say no to a couple of Chili Dogs!"

"Raaaaaarggh!"

Naruto continued to absorb the flames till the jet was barely emitting any more flames which should have been noticeable but could sense that Eggman was too irritated to do so "Hey guys, I've absorbed most of the flames so you're good to go,"

[Roger that, Naruto. Once Sonic leads Eggman over to us, get ready to execute the final phase] said Sally.

"Noted,"

Having been informed, Sonic changed directions and rans towards ridge where the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix laid in wait with grenades in hand. Sally peered to see them heading their way.

"Here they come, get ready," Sally alerted, the group prepared to throw the EMP Grenades "Wait for it…wait for it…wait for it…," Sonic then leapt over their heads with the Egg Phoenix not too far behind "NOW!"

Everyone pulled the pins and flung the grenades into the air as they all unleashed chains of EMP pulses that completely shut down all of Eggman's systems much to his horror and there was more to come with Naruto making a move of his own as the katanas changed positions from his back to the waist with his hands on the handles.

"Lunar style: Double Moon Strike!" he unsheathed the blades in a flash as he leapt off the jet with a backflip, both wings were sliced cleanly off, leaving the main body to plummet to the ground and crash into a rock wall as Naruto landed on the ground and came to a sliding stop "Heh, I just keep getting better," he tossed the blades into the air before descending and sliding into the sheathes then reattaching themselves to his back.

"No! Noooo! Not…possible…can't…how…Raaaargh?!" Eggman ejected from the remains of the Egg Phoenix in his Egg Pod and fly back to the Egg Dome with the jet exploding soon after.

Everyone regrouped back at the jeep as the sun has begun to set with Rotor and the others unloading stuff back the back of the vehicle.

"Good job everyone, now we'll be hunkering down for tomorrow," said Sally.

Sonic quirked an eyebrow "That's it?"

"Yes 'That's it', we've made it to the Egg Dome's perimeter, driven back the legion, ad survived one of Eggman's killer machines,"

Sonic shrugged "I suppose that can be considered a full day for you people. Don't you think, Naruto,"

Naruto raised a finger to gesture for a minute before turning sideways and belching out some flames "Sorry about that, couldn't keep all of them down,"

Once everyone had set up camp, Rotor activated the miniature shield generator to create a force field around the campsite so they sleep securely without worry about being attacked unawares. Sonic was unrolling his sleeping bag when he noticed that Tails was sitting on his own but had been fidgeting for some time.

Sonic went to sit next to the fox "Nervous?"

Tails nodded reluctantly "…yeah, I guess. I mean…this is it. Tomorrow, when we attack…it will all be over. One way or the other, it will be the end of the war,"

Sonic placed a hand on Tails' shoulder to comfort him "Yeah, and it's about time too. But there's no need to worry, we've saved the world over a hundred time. We'll get it right this time too especially with Naruto having helped us upgrade ourselves which means that there's no way we're gonna lose,"

"Yeah, you're right,"

Naruto was relaxing on his sleeping bag with Kou and Yoru nestled in his tails while he's having a conversation with Kurama.

"So, will you return home after this?" asked Kurama.

"Apparently so, considering this assault would severely quell Eggman's ambition plus I've help train these Freedom Fighters to become stronger. I'll run a small check on Albion then use the Warp Ring to head back home," thought Naruto.

"Sure, we've had our fun since we came here. Though I won't mind spending a bit more time here should something come up,"

"Try not to jinx us Kurama, I still got beef with that Murphy guy and his darn laws," thought Naruto before finally settling down and going to sleep with Kurama following suit.

Meanwhile back at the Egg Dome, Eggman was angrily stomping through the hallway and came upon his nephew Snively and Dimitri the Grandmaster of the Dark Egg Legion.

"Uncle Robotnik!" Snively called out upon seeing said person.

"Are you alright?" Dimitri inquired.

"Shut up and round up the Dark Alliance!" said Eggman angrily, still stewing over his loss against the hedgehog and his annoying friends.

"Whatever, they have work to do! Tomorrow is it!" the doctor stomped past them, completely unaware of the smile shared between them.

"Yes, it certainly will be," Snively smirked at Dimitri who responded in kind.

"Indeed,"

This is Hussbek online with the latest chapter, Naruto and Sonic found their way into the Cosmic Highway which serves as pathways to various dimensions in the multiverse in order to drop Scourge off at the Zone Cops Precinct when they were met by the very ones whom they were looking for and were informed of the going ons which led to them sealing off access to other dimension save for a select few and Zonic refused to detain Eggman who was from a different zone for the sake of dimensional stability much to Sonic's chagrin.

Upon returning, Naruto requests for the Freedom Fighters to meet with him at HQ the next day. Then he pointed out that they needed to improve from their basic set of skills to something new, him and Nico gave them a training regiment as well as building new equipment based from the ones that they use back at their dimension.

Later on, the group as well as Chaotix were assigned a mission to launch an assault on the Egg Dome that could bring an end to the war between them and Eggman once and for all. During a skirmish with the enemy, Eggman himself attacked the group with his newly invented Egg Phoenix in an attempt to burn them to cinders but ultimately failed thanks to a wellmade plan and assistance from Naruto, forcing him to retreat and them to rest for tonight and resuming tomorrow. However, it appears that Snively and Dimitri are planning something behind Eggman's back but the question now is…what is this plan of theirs?

We've got one more arc to go before Naruto and co return to the Gameverse and things resume afterwards. Most of the gears came from Batman; Arkham Series and Watch Dogs Series as they're mostly non-lethal and make things interesting as honestly, I feel that Rotor and Tails could have created non-lethal gear to aid the team all-around.
